One stat for brief enjoyment. I have enjoyed Mobilityware’s Solitaire game for several years. In the last 24 hours I gave added, briefly enjoyed, and deleted Spades and Free Cell by the same designer, and I want to give the explanation. FREE CELL: I enjoy winning a game of Solitaire as much as the next guy, but I’m not such a tyro as to believe that I could jump into a game I haven’t tried in ten years, and win the first ten hands in a row. No option here of selecting the rstio of winning deals or level of difficulty. No challenge, I’m gone. SPADES: Okay, I recognize that ads are the price I pay for using a free app—but three ads in a row for something called “Adblocker”? That’s just a little “on the nose,” as they say. And when Cancel takes me, not back to my app but to the Install page for the app, I call that dirty pool. Mobilityware, take a tip: take the features from Solitaire and incorporate them into your other games.

Terrible ads. The game is fun and addictive. I enjoy the animation and sounds (though they can be turned off). I listen to audiobooks while I play and play for hours. Most of the ads are unobtrusive and only last five seconds. The problem is there are select ads (i.e. Tik Tok) that cut off my audiobook so I have to leave the app to turn my book back on. Having to leave the app every two-five minutes is a real nuisance. Also, these ads that cut off the audiobook are also obnoxiously loud and noisy. I’ve repeatedly reported the problem. One time they said they would report the ad as inappropriate. The other dozen times the apologize but do nothing to fix the problem.

Perfect No-Brain Game. I love FreeCell because I can pay attention to things I’m listening to like a podcast while being able to keep my hands busy. For this I can use any form of Solitaire, but I like FreeCell because it’s just hard enough to be challenging but easy enough so I don’t get frustrated or lose focus from what I’m listening to. I also like this app in particular because the ads are never longer than a couple seconds if you can’t skip them entirely, which is a problem I have run into with other puzzle games. I also like the goals/level system, because it’s completely useless but it’s still fun to do the daily challenges and watch your level go up. I think I’ve been getting points just to see how far the titled levels go, so far I’m an “Associate Poobah” on level 420 which is just delightful. How many titles are there. Am I going to die trying to find out. We shall see.

Fun Game, Great Devs for Reliable Apps. Made an unfavorable review at first, saw they fixed the issue for another person, as long as I don’t see the issue, I’ll leave review at 5 stars. There are a lot of complaints about the ads/game crashing. I’ve never had an issue with the game crashing, and yes they added ads maybe a year or so ago that are a bit more spam-y. They aren’t a huge deal. I have several games by Mobility Games (jigsaw puzzle is so awesome and it’s like $4 for the option to use your own photos. This is essentially infinite puzzles because you can just download pictures from online that you want to be a puzzle). Any time I want to get an app for a classic game, I look for Mobility Games because a) they don’t try to complicate/“improve” a tried and true game that doesn’t need unnecessary flair, and b) the ads are much more controlled than other devs. They also don’t spam for microtransactions. I’m into it.

Just one thing. Love the app, have had it for years. Love your innovation and how you try to keep things interesting. Love the events section too where you can earn a badge…super smart stuff. Only one thing you need to change… make sure that the last deal to win the event badge in full is a win this hand deal. Could be timed or not, but it just drive me nuts that all I have to do to earn my final badge is put a 4 of spades to the foundation or move X number of cards. Like I wanna win the hand and win the prize, not just shorten it. Maybe I’m in the minority here, but I think it would improve the event experience. Otherwise, I don’t really have any complaints. Keep up the good, innovative work!

As much as I love the game, Grrrrr. I’ve had to uninstall this app one time due to slowing and crashing. I reinstalled this app starting from scratch saving nothing, and all went well, until I got over level 100, then it started crashing again. Each time I started a game, it’s been taking longer and longer for the ad to appear, then once the ad was completed, and up, it took a frustrating amount of time until I was able to move the cards again. That didn’t include when the screen froze. If it were my tablet, I could understand, but just this app? I have my serious doubts. I’ll just move on to another app, hopefully I don’t have a repeat frustrating experience.

New User Interface. Have loved this game for years & would have rated it high however, the recent Ui changes are awful. They’re too cartoony & juvenile with the XL font & 3D-ish graphics. Just terrible. Keep it classy like a card game would be. Switch this treatment to one of your other games, if you must. Then there’s the “Events” ... I really enjoyed the destination series with various solve challenges. Then it switched to pure goofiness & seemed to be the start of the cartoon style. Not a fan & it’s only getting worse. With the last update the ads are crashing after only a couple of games. What was once an enjoyable chill experience is now exhausting on many levels. Please dial the UI back ... way back, & fix the crashes. I’m finding myself @ the App Store in between crashes looking for a replacement. Don’t want to drop FreeCell but ... serenity now!!

Company Motto: Customer problem, not our problem. I have tried several times over various intervals to contact this company because, while I've been an ad-free subscriber for years, and current subscription doesn't expire until 2022, that the app on my phone has started to function as if I'm not a subscriber, constantly offers me option to subscribe, and shows the eternal, never ending ads. BUT the company hasn't interacted with me. The "Contact" option in the game just closes the game out, and it does this on all my devices. I tried several times to contact them through their company site, which has a working Contact option, but all that I get is an auto-reply email to contact them through the game, which cannot be done. I think this is the clue to the company culture. The only customer contact they care about is getting paid.

Obnoxious ads ruin this app.. Ugh. The ads in this app are outrageously invasive. Some are loud, obnoxious & unwelcome - especially when you're playing in bed when you can't sleep. With this app, no one sleeps. Some ads don't allow you to pass over them - you have to play the game they're trying to sell you first. Some have an 'X' so you can skip the ad, but it's misplaced so instead of closing the ad, it hijacks you to their website or to the app store & shares your info (IP addy, location & who knows what else) with the advertiser. This is a very lucrative "glitch" because the app owners can report an excellent return on investment to their paying advertisers by showing how many clicks their ads got - forget the fact that we haven't clicked willingly. Ridiculous. P.S. Want to skip the obnoxious ads? Shut the app after reloading the game and open it again. More often than not that actually takes less time to do than to wait to skip the ad.

Love this game! Love this app!. I have loved this game since I first played it back in the day on my computer. I love this app because it gives me the same great game on my phone, with the addition of daily goals. As a software tester I truly appreciate the quality. I tried other FreeCell apps and deleted them all before finding this one. If there was one thing I would add to the game though, I would love to know the numbers of the games I have lost, so that I could go back and try again. Update: I did contact support but for the sake of the review readers, I will explain the feature I would like to see. If you go to settings > statistics you can see how many games you have won and lost. My request is, if you play numbered games (yes, I started at 1) that you be able to see the game numbers of the games you lost so that you could try them again. The feature would not work for randomly generated games as they have no numbers. Bonus if winning a previously lost game would erase the count in the lost column. :D

Mobility Ware Ad Policy Disappoints. I have been a Freecell addict from the moment it first came out on desktop computers. It was the first game I downloaded to my first iPhone. I have highly respected and appreciated Mobility Ware’s firm stance on ads that could be dismissed after 5 seconds. Trust me, that is all it takes to decide if I’m interested in the product or not, especially since we see the same ads incessantly. First the multi-tap crept in; we could dismiss the ad after 5 seconds, but then the product screen popped up, 2, 3, 4 times before we got back to our game. Now we are seeing ads that take 15 - 60 seconds before they can be dismissed, and most still employ the multi-tap. It is so annoying, especially when we see the same ads over and over. Guys! I STILL don’t want whatever it is! The days of being able to sneak in a 2 or 3 minute game of solitaire are over, and it saddens and frustrates me.

Truly enjoy + suggestion. I've played FreeCell before and enjoy that I'm able to win some, lose some. It doesn't appear to be rigged (common with other apps), I like the auto finish, but could do without the flashing after you've finished. There's an ad before every game, but once you close it, it's gone (no banners or other items to look past or not accidentally click on). There is a series of ads that has an open button and arrow at the bottom of the screen that takes a VERY long time to load (more than 10 seconds and I have high-speed internet). This is so frustrating that I exit the game and do something else. Love the app once you're in, don't mind most ads beforehand, strongly dislike waiting for such a long time to get started.

Problem Solving Practice. When I was teaching 7th grade in the public school I always included Problem Solving Skills. Basically they are the same as Scientific Theory taught in 7th grade Science. Teaching it from a little different approach reinforced. Once the problem is thoroughly identified of all its parts, the #2 step is to make a list of all the possible things one could do in an effort to solve. We sometimes call this brain storming. Leave no possibility unlisted because two may have to be combined to make the solution. Use the list to carefully consider each possibility. Look for why one will not work and gradually eliminate until you have only one or two remaining for Step 3. If neither are obviously usable by now, try one and then the other. Choose the solution, in Step 4, by which one works best. If this one does not solve, repeat steps 2 and 3. Step 5 is to put your solution into effect and make it work. It may need adjustments or another’s advice. Always believe in yourself and know you can. There is a solution for every problem. FreeCell is a perfect practice for developing this skill. It is fun to play and even allows Steps 4 & 5. Students can play a game while learning. For me, now that I am retired and my thinking skills or memory sometimes fails me, FreeCell helps me stay sharp. It’s a brain exercise , if you will !

Love this game, but...... I have playing this game for a couple of years. Occasionally an ad plays that is hard to close. Today, Jan 4th 2020, an add for 3D sniper plays, that is totally inappropriate for anyone playing a solitaire card game. Also to ad does not have any way to close it and return to the FreeCell game. The only way is to force close freecell and app center because it opens that too, and any other web page that often opens that tries to advertise this rubbish. That’s right, it plays violent R rated stuff and does not have ANY way to close or shut it off. I will reluctantly be NOT playing freecell until this revolting rubbish is removed. I probably should not even be promoted by Apple!

Freecell is my favorite kill time app.. The way I play free-cell is by allowing my phone to select the next game and if I cannot win, I back until I have a whole deck and play until I win. Some games are tough and take a good number or repeats. There are a few games that are un- winnable and when I am having a particularly difficult game I wonder if I am in one of those. But there is no way to know what game you are in. So in my list of improvements would be showing the game you are playing and possibly rating it on a difficulty scale. In this way I would 1, know if a game is un winnable, and 2, help me see how well my gaming compares to others by seeing how difficult a game is. As far as adds, there is a way to kill them off so If they really bother someone pay for the game. If you are intelligent enough to play freecell you should be able to figure out that nothing is free!

Angry Glitch. I have been a fan of Mobilityware for years. I have played FreeCell for about 12. Huge fan! But today I noticed a glitch. Maybe it was there before Maybe not. I had two sets of five cards that I could move. One set would have reduce the line of cards in that row. The second set could have been added to the cards in that row. But my goal was to decrease the cards, not increase them. The system wanted me to increase the cards and would not allow me to move the other five cards to an open space. A little disappointed as the only games I play are Mobilityware games. Reason: few problems, well thought out, and easy to navigate.

A few adjustments needed. The actual game of free cell is great, I just think the app needs a few adjustments. For one, each time you go up a level the required “coins” you need to get to the next level should be in increments of twenty-five. After playing for a while in the thousand coins needed range, I began to wonder why I would have sums like 233 or 108. I decided to reset my statistics and find out. It’s because of levels like the Hobbyist (starting on level 11) with a needed sum of 678 that these coins get thrown off. I just get bothered by it and would be very grateful if it was corrected. Also, if it could be more like the regular solitaire game when auto completing (each level goes in on its own and all the kings go in last when there are no queens left) that would be great as well.

FreeCell. I have become totally addicted to this game. However, it began to freeze up after playing a number of games. I’d wait for several hours or until the next day. It would work for awhile, but it would freeze again. This went on for awhile, but I was thrilled to reach level 20. When a suggestion came up to change the background to a different theme, I chose Valentine’s Day. It worked for awhile and then totally froze up. I waited until the next day but it was still frozen. I ended up deleting it, although I knew I all my hard achieved levels would be gone. I am enjoying playing the game again, but very annoyed because of the freezing issues. Are there any suggestions to keep this from happening? I am playing on an iPhoneX.

What happened?. ********************************************* *UPDATE- it has been a week now & I have had no issues with ads, lagging or crashes. BIG THANK YOU to the “Tech Wizards”/Developer for being so responsive!!!! ^^^^^^ I hope all the people who had the same issues WILL UPDATE THEIR REVIEW BACK TO 5 STARS!!! ***** ********************************************* I have played this game for years now (along with your other apps) and have given 5 star ratings before. I have to keep restarting the app because of the ads.. Candy crush puts a banner over the bottom buttons (where goals, replay etc..) are.. there is a video ad that I have to touch to make it play, then I can’t get out of it. An ad comes up with a black screen (I have no idea who it is) and I can’t get out of it. When I touch the cards to move them, there is a lag, so I touch them again and my original move happens but also moves the unintended card so I have to hit undo. I know y’all have to make money, but please don’t sell out to these ruthless ads companies! I will not delete this game yet in the hope that you are passionate enough to fix it. Thanks in advance for looking into this

Fantastic! + Suggestion. I LOVE this game! As others have said, it is so polished and easy to use, and you can just tell that they truly keep the player in mind in the design. Also, just a darn fun game! Since you guys ask for feedback on one of the splash screens, I have a suggestion—for the Daily Challenges, it would be nice if the goals that have a limit would have a count down. Some Challenges like “get 40 Spades to the foundation” will count your progress so far, but when there is a limit there isn’t really an indication if you are trying to squeeze it in. For example, one of today’s was “win any game with less than 15 cards moved to the freecells”. At some point I realised I might make this goal but I wasn’t keeping count so I didn’t know how conservative I had to be with the freecells! Maybe a bar that unfills rather than fills? Maybe a red bar? Thank you for reading!

Some Ads Do Not Close. While I expect a free app to support itself with ads, I do have problem when some have no facility to close them, especially when the ad itself is in poor taste to the point of being disgusting. When it happens, the only way around it is to force the app to close, then open it again. My patience, though, is not unlimited so if it happens again, I’ll be removing the app from my device and cut off the revenue channel. No way I would consider purchasing an app that allows that sort of thing and that they are third-party ads is no excuse nor would I ever buy a subscription. On top of that, even with the sound muted, some still play it loudly and there are several that no matter what you say, it takes you to the App Store. Others, when clicked to close, open another version of the ad with the close X in a different location so it’s almost a game in itself about how to close the ads! There are some without any way whatsoever to close them short of forcing the app to close. Support did write to me about this revue but there was no way I could reply through the app and the email did not provide a legitimate reply.

Love ALL Mobility Ware & their A+++ FreeCell. MobilityWare apps ALWAYS put a smile on my face! They are extremely well done. thank you for making my day! I love the creative animated figures made with cards at the end of every win. The man dancing made me laugh the first time I saw him. And then I saw the moves change, and it looked like it was a woman card figure dancing. Love the airplane, the ship at sea, the jalopy- just so creative! I enjoy their goals, as they are challenging but not overwhelming. I have played nearly 4000 of their FreeCell games, and recently downloaded several more other games, like Pyramid and Spider. Just very well done! My suggestion, if you’re into card games, download every app they offer! You won’t be disappointed!

Game is fun BUT …. The ads are a pain. It’s not that they appear. It’s that with some of the the ads it will freeze you out of playing if you do not install the game being advertised. Right now the game is not functional on my IPhone. Just the black screen of death appears with the app. It also happens on my IPads. If I wait for a few hours, the game will work again. The other bothersome item with the ads is if you reject installing the advertised game which is appearing on the screen, the install page will continue to reappear three to five times before the app lets you continue with the game. If a person declines to install an advertised game, then the app needs to be programmed to let the issue go.

Review. Glad your ads are only after the game is over. All of the other games the ads interrupt the game and you have to wait for it to finish. Sometimes it won’t give you the opportunity to go back to the game and I have to go off and sign back on, what a pain. I’ve taken off some games due the them being so Annoying. Also there are games they have Constant ads over and over and I will NOT ever sign up for those games. There is one with a king in it that I would let him drown, burn up or get attacked just to get rid of him. The other annoying Thing is, I see a game I’d like to try, but when I accept it, it’s not the same game the ad was for and I don’t know how to find it. I deleted it. I’m just telling you all this as if you are not the one doing these annoying ads, maybe you can pass this on to those that do. And last, I wish there was a place you could go let you know how to play the games. Another annoying feature is you have to enter a nickname and anything I enter is taken!

What happened in the updates-BAD!. I purchased/leased this game so I didn't have to deal with ads because I really enjoy it. Suddenly in December it decided not to allow the Play option with the menu to come up. It was all grayed out as well as all the other options. I removed the app from the iPad to keep history and re-downloaded it and it went back to working for a while. Late in December, it happened again. I ended up removing it completely and losing all the data. When I removed it warned me I continued to be charged for ad-free access. I turned off and rebooted and reinstalled it and it has worked fine. I mainly do the Daily challenges. So I lost all those records. TODAY it locked up and did the same as before. I notice it's been updated again with bug fixes. Well, unfortunately it has become more buggy! Why should I continue paying for a headache?

Good but needs more. I played this game up until I was like level 250. I like this version of FreeCell but this game could use some more development. I mean what’s the purpose of leveling and getting titles if it literally doesn’t do anything for you? Lol. You don’t compete with others for scores or get any kind of upgrade so…the whole leveling thing is really kind of pointless. There doesn’t seem to be a level cap either. You can just level on endlessly for no apparent reason. But other than that, this game has been a good time killer or waster. It has kept me entertained and up at night when I couldn’t sleep, although that’s probably not a good thing so I deleted it for a little bit.

Too many aggressive ads. The free version of this game was excellent. I have used this game as brain exercise for several years. The downside is the trend toward the increasing aggressiveness, and frequency of the ads. Now, most game starts require watching 2 ads that have a time delay up to ~30 seconds before allowing it to be skipped. There are of late, new ads that not only have a skip delay - they also open the app store to the advertised app to download. Add to that, a glitch(?) that requires several attempts to close the app store to start the new game. I understand there is a paid version of the app. Downside: the free version stats are NOT transferred to paid version. I am currently trying to find the paid version to see how much it cost - nothing so far. There is a link in support, but it didn’t work for me. Definitely uninstalling the annoying free version. If the paid one cost too much, I’ll go with a friendlier developer.

Love the game, ads becoming intolerable. I’ve played this game for years and love it! It’s part of my morning routine to keep my mind sharp. BUT lately the ads have become intolerable. Like others have mentioned, the ad times are getting longer and longer, it often takes 4-5 attempts to close ads, screen frequently goes black or freezes when loading ads requiring a complete shutdown of my device to reboot. I understand the need for advertisement revenue, but seriously? I’ll be really sad to give this game up, but if things don’t improve soon, it’s bye-bye FreeCell. 4/2/22 update: Thank you, FreeCell creators, for forcing me to update to the newest version today. I’ve gained back a lot of time as the game is now deleted from my phone. Why? Horrible user interface, many years worth of stats were wiped out, and no more daily challenges. What’s the point? I’ll find another game.

The very first, best game I’ve ever put on my iPad!. When I bought my very first iPad 2, lo these many moons ago, this was the first game I downloaded and played. Now both that iPad2 and this Solitaire game are a little older and, while I no longer use that iPad very often (it’s in emergency spare status), I still play this game. There have been little tweaks along the way to make a better presentation, true, but I enjoy the familiar screens, the stability of the app, and the options for the cards, decks and background. This game has never gotten stale or boring. This remains an EXCELLENT GAME & app! My appreciation is offered to the developers for not overdoing the changes and maintaining such a high level of understanding what the users want. Really, an exceptional job!

Last update has issues?. I've used MobilityWare's Freecell on my ipad for several years and loved it, never had an issue. Last week I did it's latest update, and have not been pleased since. Used to have an auto-play feature you could turn off, which I've not been able to find after the update. But worse than that: when I get part way through a game, my screen blanks out, then reopens to the beginning of the game - repeatedly. I hope MobilityWare can get this fixed. Or might it be my ipad is getting too old? It's running 16.7.5. Gave the app five stars because I've always loved it, and assume it will get fixed.

Annoying glitches. Overall, this is a great game and my main go-to game. However after several years of playing there are two glitches that have annoyed me. First is the “trophy” award system. Trophies are awarded through the daily challenge portion of the game. However, at least in my case after filling in many months, the only awards that get logged are the first level “copper” ones. After over 624 crowns none of the silver or gold trophies are logged. Second glitch: I am now more than halfway through the second cycle of level titles. I reached the “tableau titan II” level and then at the next level the game bounced me back about 20 levels. I was working to Make it through the “II” title level and now find I was bounced back by about 60 games. I’d like a programmer or tech manager at the company to address these issues. Thanks.

Latest version. Update : Thank you mobilityware for giving the option to remove the icon off the cards. The weekly event challenges are fine, but the others should be removed. The game is now too sensory overloaded for me. The train your brain game should be a completely different app and only memory Games. I appreciate your listening, but I personally don’t like overloaded games. I like games that are simple And come to an end. I deleted a puzzle game and a popular bird game for this very reason and in the games current state, I feel that I will not continue playing it so I’m just going to delete it. I just don’t understand why game developers continue to overload games with features instead of creating a new game. The latest update added a brain icon the cards creating an annoying distraction and the train your brain memory event is nothing more than a unnecessary waste of time that has ruined the game now because it is creating unnecessary sensory overload we and now I have to decided to delete the game thank you very much mobilityware for ruining the game. You gotta know when to hold them and win the fold them.

Great for the mind and competition.. Fee cell is the first game my wife and I played on a computer. This was back in early 1990 I cannot remember exactly the year. We played the game in succession and would play it together. When of us would see a move we would talk it out and decide which move to make next. I can’t remember what number we got to, but eventually things changed in our lives and we became to busy to play. We are retired now and have started playing again only now we play on our own phones, but we challenge each other to see who has the highest game. We have never found a game that we could not solve. We have known each other for 51 years and have been married for 48 years. We don’t know if our lives will change again and will stop playing again or not, but for now it’s a great way to pass time and more importantly use our minds and that’s really great.

Ads are the worst. I have used this app now for more than 3 years. The Ads were fine in the beginning (I honestly am not sure there were ads when I first downloaded it?). Now some of them were extremely inappropriate (I.e. violent) and multiple ads btwn games which were difficult to close and opened another unwanted window for the ad. Also some ads play very loud sounds unexpectedly which you cannot control. Woke my baby or spouse up. I’ll be looking for another app. This one has run its course. To any potential downloader, you can now purchase an option to avoid ads but it’s a pricey monthly subscription. I’d rather just purchase the game. Most of the recent updates were unnecessary and unwanted. I received zero customer service when I encountered an update where they took away a feature. Took them more than a year to put it back. Just overall not good in my humble opinion.

Best Time Waster Ever!. This is the best time waster I’ve ever seen. I’ve been playing for several years and have won at least 6,000 games between the free and paid version. BTW the paid version is more than worth the cost. One “feature” I wish it didn’t have is the ability to wipe your record. No, that’s not fair, I just wish I had used the option to save some of my history. Currently I’ve got a little over 2,000 wins, all with the top score when I finished. I have 2 losses, that I can’t explain because I’ve never intentionally left a game without winning. Okay so one game took over 3 hours to win… remember what I said about time wasters? At least I’m retired so I’m not playing on someone else’s nickel. Bottom line, I love this game and this version!

Classic game, too many ads. This game is just as I remembered playing on my old desktop PC. The game has no bugs and is customizable. There are daily goals to keep the game fresh. However, I deducted stars for the frequency of game ads. Between every game there are two ads, and even when I switch between “random”, “winning deal” and “numbered deal” there are ads. Sometimes the goals require winning a certain numbered deal, and it infuriates me when there is an ad between reading the goal and and selecting a numbered deal because I have to worry about forgetting the deal number. While it’s not a huge deal, it does become annoying very quickly. This is especially true since the game won’t play if you aren’t connected to the internet since this prevents the ads from loading. If there were a paid version I’d happily pay a dollar or two to not have to deal with the stupid ads. Either provide a paid version or reduce the amount of ads.

I found a bug. I love this game. I love all of the MobilityWare games but this is my favorite. It’s the age of mass advertising. Recently, many software companies ave been investing in an ad that resides at the front-center of their games… including MobilityWare. It sits right on top of the utility bar where the “back” button resides and the “new game” button. I love the “back” button. And what should I do when I’m out of moves? I cannot access these buttons at all! The bar doesn’t move & cannot be dismissed. I don’t consider it an ad. I consider it a bug. I didn’t notice this ad today. I don’t know if it’s because my previous complaint was heard or because I’ve come to expect it. In case it’s still hanging out, you need to fully close & reopen the game. Keep an eye on where the button is that you wish to use and restart the game, tapping the button’s space as quickly & repeatedly. You can out maneuver the ad. Hate this new upgrade!!!. The game was great as it was! This new version that I had to upload is terrible! I dislike the two tone cards telling us which card to play next…l feel like YOU ARE DUMBING US DOWN so we don’t have to think for ourselves, you are filling in the next few cards for us -for no reason! Earlier this month my yearly subscription was renewed and I was alerted and automatically paid, which was fine with me, when all of a sudden I started getting advertisements between games. It was impossible to contact you thru apple etc..so I deleted the app and re-installed it, and instead got this HORRIBLE NEW VERSION!! No thanks to you for playing the game for us!!! Is there any way to find or get back to the previous version??? I’d rather play the original game and think for myself!! OMG, I received a very nice reply from the developer who told me exactly how to fix my preferences thru the game settings! I’m all set now and very happy!! Thank you so much!!

Updating my review.... I previously left a 2-star review because the ads had gotten out of hand. The developers replied to my review and asked me to submit screenshots of ads that couldn’t be closed. I have noticed since then that the ads are more manageable. I understand that ads are a fact of life for free app. I’m just thankful that I can now close them after a few seconds instead of having to watch a 30 second ad that can’t be closed. —————————————— Ads, Ads, Ads! So many ads that I’m playing this game less and less. There’s and ad between every game, and while it used to be that you could X out of an ad once it started, it now seems most of the ads are timed at 30 seconds and you can’t exit out of them. I understand the need for ads on a free app, but no other game app I use has as many ads as mobilityware.

Constantly fixing things that aren’t broken. They keep strangely updating an app that was great and now is iffy. They added some “badges” and weekly challenges and now there’s an awful little icon in the bottom left corner that you can’t get rid of and is pretty distracting to gameplay. Wish they would give you an option instead of forcing it onto your screen. Wish I could undo the update. Also, a lot of times the ads will get stuck and you can’t get out of them and there are soooo many ads. You have to watch an ad between every single game. And they’re long and not always skippable after 5-10 seconds and if you do try to skip it almost always takes you to the download screen for that app. Plus, how do you turn off certain permissions for this app? They don’t give you that choice either and I can’t see why this app would need access to my contacts and photos. No way to contact them.

Good game, sketchy ads. I play the game just as regular FreeCell and ignore the badges and other features. This works for me and I have enjoyed thousands of games of FreeCell. As others have mentioned, the ads usually take three attempts to close because you have to go through different screens and allow for so many seconds of videos to play. The issue I have is the number of sketchy ads. Some asking for access to connect to a credit card. Some asking you to download a new version of FreeCell because something is wrong with yours (phishing). I only wonder how many older people have click on these buttons and given away personal information to these clearly malicious “ads”.

Fix the maddening instability!!!. Ever since version 5.3.3 this game has become so unstable it is nearly unplayable. It takes 30 to 40 seconds to load before allowing you to start the game. It then freezes 15 to 30 seconds into the game for another half a minute or so. But the most aggravating “feature” is when it crashes completely without warning without saving your progress. Imagine how happy that makes me when I have been painstakingly searching for a solution on a difficult game only to have it crash and take me back to the start. I would have given 5 stars before v5.3.3, but now I will not play it again until I see there’s a new version. Fix this please!!! Update: Instability finally fixed with 5.4.0 update. The game is fun to play again.

It’s My Favorite. Of all the solitaires offered, I like FreeCell the best. I like games where you can go out if you play well. It’s a waste of time to play a game when you never had a chance of going out. FreeCell is the most challenging of all the solitaires, and since you can see the face of every card, is perfect for applying strategy. Pyramid can be unsolvable no matter what you do (Daily Challenge excepted) or too easy. Because you can’t see the face-down cards, Crown and TriPeaks don’t give that much scope for strategy, although the runs are rewarding. Solitaire and Castle are fun, but not as challenging as FreeCell. I’ve tried the others offered by MobilityWare, but found them simplistic, not complicated enough. MegaWatt

Review- I have one gripe. I play and I don’t like to loose so if I get stuck I use undo a lot. I want to win even if I get a low score. I would rather win with a low score than try to start over because that counts as a loss. My gripe is that I had a winning streak of 983 whipped out because my finger brushed against the wrong button. I was winning the game , but I had to put the phone down and do something else. When I got back to the game One of the pop up adds came up and I had a hard time of getting rid of it. When the game came back it went to the screen that gives the chose of games. I went to cancel that screen and accidentally brushed against the numbered deal and started the next game. Of course it counted the game that was interrupted as a loss and ended my win streak. You are allowed to undo other mistakes, but that one is fatal. Can you add the option that gives a warning that what you did will end the winning streak and allow for a corrective action??? The same thing happened to me when I built the winning streak to over 950. I was so mad I quite parlaying for a week or more and recently I had gotten it up to over 550 and I frankly don’t know what happened but when I looked I had a winning streak of 6. I quite playing for several weeks and now I have a rousing winning streak of 7. When the opportunity came up to write a review——I took it.

FreeCell. Fun but hard to contact then for issues. Sent message three days ago regarding my account for free cell and solitaire. My phone broke and got replacement phone and just paid for a year. They don’t recognize me, and now I get harassed by them trying to make me pay. So if you don’t pay they torture you with games you don’t want, make you watch a video before you get to the point you can get back to your gabs. So they say it’s free, it’s not. I paid and I’m getting treated like this.I can pay on my iPad since I paid without this hassle. So they don’t respond to your messages but will continue to interrupt your plays on my phone.

Addictive. I have enjoyed playing FreeCell for over 10 years but I’m uninstalling it due to the ads. When the game was introduced the ads were about 5 seconds long but have now progressed to up to 20 seconds long. When one clicks the X to close the ad many times it directs one to the App Store or opens the link for the product in Google. This is annoying but not enough for me to pay for a subscription. Tonight an ad came up for a ladies bra & before I could actually play the game the app opened 16 pages of Google trying to get me to purchase the product. Time for me to spend my time elsewhere & move on. Goodbye FreeCell. Thanks for the fun while it lasted.

Sound violation. I have sound turned off for a good reason. Today an add blasted away so I rechecked my setting and it is set to OFF. please follow your own Options and respect the OFF option. I really enjoy this app but will definitely delete it if the sound option is ignored. In fact, I think I will take this before the Americans with Disabilities commission. I’m retired and have plenty of time to do that. As of today I will delete this application and find one that does not override their own settings. I will be contacting ADA today. As of today, a case has been opened with the Americans with Disabilities Act. I will continue to play and report every time the app overrides their own settings and my personal devices settings. New report to Americans with disability act this morning. Another instance where you override your own sound option. I notice this review is not showing up. I will report that as well but that will be reported to another source. I’ll start with Apple.

Stuck Speedy Solver III. I have loved playing this game…..3 things though. I am stuck on Speedy Solver III and cannot advance to a new level, it shows red in the title, I click on it and yet, it never goes past this level. Thankfully, I’m not driven by title but it’s irritating. The second thing is if I manage to fulfill all 4 of the categories in one win, I think you should get extra points / recognition for that. Doesn’t happen often but it’s cool when it does. And, like others have said, I don’t like the addition of the memory game. It’s completely different and just competes with my brain space. I don’t like the glowing icon in the lower left corner either. It’s distracting. Just develop a new game for these. I’ve been playing this for years and love it!

Great app, ads make it almost unplayable. I have had this FreeCell app for several years now, and have enjoyed playing it regularly. However, in recent years, the amount of ads you have to see in order to play is getting ridiculous. I understand having an ad or two for paying for the app. But when you have to wait through, then find and click a skip button or a close button 3 to 4 different times on the same ad for the same product is absurd. It gets especially monotonous when you beat a game in a minute or less and have to click through a series of ads that takes longer than the FreeCell game does. Showing me the same thing three times in a row doesn’t make me what to download anything, it’s just annoying.

Love this Game !!. It really makes my brain do some work. I used to play it on my computer then in spare time at work or on breaks. Then I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia and had to leave work because of problems with it. I now have it installed on my cell phone and sometimes it’s a challenge for me but it makes me think. I don’t win them all (short term memory loss because of the Fibromyalgia and meds I have to take. Thank God pot is legal in Alaska again. It really helps too) but I have always enjoyed this game!! I was so glad I found your app. Now I can have something to do when hubby is binge watching NCIS on tv. It really makes me think about how to make my next move, which is a great thing! Completely addicted. Began playing years ago and started at number 1 and got through to 33,879 with 19 failures. Now on the new version I’m at 836 with no fails and on to level 118. Cannot get enough of it, thanks Will enjoy it for more years to come.

Love it but.... Very frustrated at current ads in Asian language. I have no idea what I’m pressing in the hope that it will be removed. Takes multiple times to delete the ad as well. Hope that these ads can be redirected to those who would appreciate them.

Hard. It took me five days to complete one level. I'm on level 2 and it's so hard. There's ads to. Those big bully stupid ads. I just hate em. Plus the loading screen. It's Shows up for to long. Plus they have their own ad too. I love this though cus well it's free and it helps your brain. It's good to be smart. A slogan from a brain ad. This doesn't even have a slogan. Plus it's very free but the makers made me not able to buy their own game because I need iOS and later. I mean that such a dum rule. Plus I play it everyday but there's no point to be addicted with such a annoying game. Wait I'm going way toooooo far. I'm sorry for calling this game stupid and those other sware words. Please forgive me. But I like some of those mini game ads and stuff so yeah.

FreeCell. Having a problem on my iPad for the daily challenge saying no internet and there is. This doesn’t happen on my iPhone I can play the daily on this but not the ipad, it’s weird. I have no issues with my internet at Home. Prior to me updating my iPad it was working. So can’t explain the reason why it’s not now. Plus it’s running properly, it’s lagging and I have just updated my iPad so don’t understand what’s going on. Rita 🥴

Enjoy the game. Been playing this for quite a while and enjoy it. Ads are annoying, especially the ones that you have to click on the cross 4 time to get to the game. Wouldn’t be so bad if you only had to click once to get rid of them.

The Black screen. I love this game but for the two times now I had to delete the game because after I finish the game and instead of the adds the black screen comes up. I don’t understand why it’s happening. I can not remove it or cancel it but delete the complete game instead. Thank you.

Slow with mobile data off. I really enjoy playing FreeCell but man, when mobile data is turned off, make sure you have something else to do between games. You can wait a minute from the new game loading up and making your first move until it kicks into gear and you can actually play

Daily challenges are great. I've enjoyed this game for a long time, even before the daily challenges and levels were introduced. It's great to get the mind working. The daily challenges add an extra dimension to the game. Ads aren't too bothersome, but sometimes the 'X' to close the ad appears only after a few seconds, so if you didn't find the 'X', look again - it may have appeared since you last looked

Great game.. I have been playing this game for years. I enjoy the challenges that it offers. I don’t go for speed I just enjoy being able to get the game completed. I also like being able to look up the statistics to see if I am improving.

Update is bad. I have been playing for years and enjoying it, but since the latest update, I play one game a day, the Daily Challenge. It’s almost impossible to complete the other challenges because the new update has put in automatically send cards to the table for you. If one challenge is to put 4 spades into the table before any other cards, you cannot if there is another ace showing because it automatically puts that ace in the table. I don’t like it. It is not challenging anymore.

Performance issue?. I really enjoy playing this game and love to advance through the goals. One question though. I've noticed the game motion has become a little 'jerky' lately. I'm using an iPhone 6. Is this a known issue?

App is frozen. I love this game and have been using it for a few weeks now and never had any issues, just today I have been unable to load and play the game and I think I might be going crazy, I hope this gets fixed because I need my daily fix of FreeCell to get me through the day!!

Scoring. The game is a little easy for me . So I play it differently . I try to unravel a game by not putting any cards away . My ideal game is to have all 52 cards assembled in suit before you push the complete button . Obviously this takes more time and card moves . This penalises your score ( no big deal ) . I just a though for people who like the game and want to add a level of complexity this is an option , obviously the scoring would née to change to reflect the higher skill involved . Frissy. I really enjoy playing this game and it’s challenges but I am fed up with not being able to get rid of the ads. Even when there is a cross, it continually takes me to the internet. Thinking of downloading another FreeCell game that doesn’t have impossible to get rid of adverts

Long advertisements. I have enjoyed playing this game for about 10+ years but I’m now thinking of either deleting the app or just not playing it anymore. In the last couple of weeks something has changed and there’s no option to stop ads from playing too long. Previously I was able to stop the ads from running any longer than 10 seconds, but now there is no option for this. Please fix it.

Disappointed. It is a good game but I am totally infuriated with the advertisements you subject us to. If I wished to play the other games, I would! Freecell. Have played this for a few months now-bit of an addiction! Easy to get into-my only complaint is the pop up ads which sometimes don't load properly & screw up the system and then I have to exit and re-enter; time wasted and detracts from the enjoyment of the game

Update fried my battery. Just did the iOS 15 update and updated the app, game became unplayable, battery went from 40 to 3% in a minute and phone got so hot I had to turn it completely off. Not going to play until there are reviews saying it’s fixed.

Love the app. Really fun game, but it’s started crashing after the latest update iOS 16.5. It just closes mid-way through a game. It’s been really stable until now.

Granny. If you can dispense quickly with the annoying adds before almost every game, you can actually enjoy the challenges. I play every day which keeps me focused and have lots of wins along the way. Great way to pass the time.

Ads. I love this game hence the 5 star rating. However, many of the advertisers do not observe the 5 second rule. Many have multiple screens of far more than 5 seconds. Royal Match is the worst. It won’t take long for MobilityWare to play the game themselves, identify the offenders and bite the bullet.

Fun but oh, those ads. It is a lot of fun and it has recently added some fascinating extra challenges but the ads are atrocious. You can’t do anything without waiting for a raft of ads to load, one after the other and many take more than 30 seconds each. They used to say you could skip ads after five seconds but no longer - and when you can skip an ad, you cop another series of ads all longer and more irrelevant than the last. I still play it occasionally but it is now more a source of frustration than fun.

Peter. It is very addictive. I play every day but find the adds very annoying. It would be a pleasure to play without all the pop ups. It is a shame you have to pay to get rid of them

Ads that don’t close. I can put up with ads but lately I getting a particular one that seems to have no options to close it. Looking for something to tap on, only sends me to the App Store. Really, this is unbearable, so I just close down the game.

Love it. I love this game - especially the daily challenges - but some of the ads at the moment are not able to be closed and I have to close the app completely and then deal a new hand and hope I don't get an ad that makes it stuck again. Also is it possible to get the game number to always show on the bottom-left of the screen when you start a random game?

Good Freecell. It is a generally good Freecell, but it would be improved by better analytics. For example, comparing the number of moves achieved with the fewest possible moves, and recording the number of moves before the game is automatically finished. The system of grades is fatuous American nonsense. A more ‘scientific’ comparison of outcomes over time would be more interesting. An option to save an irritatingly difficult game without recording a game lost, to play in the future, when time allows, and going on to play what is hoped to be a game not too hard for the standard chosen. Attention to what makes the game more enjoyable to players would lead to better sales. I have this game on my PC as well, where I play ‘hard’ games and am a diamond grandmaster level 251 (I am retired and in my 80s). As your game stands, it is now more of the same for me: a valued recreation break, and a great brain user that I hope keeps dementia at bay. Phil Bubb

IOS 15 performance issues?. Great game but seems to be having performance issues since upgrading to latest version on IOS15. Slow response on screen; delayed card moves; high battery consumption. Not sure if it’s the latest version of FreeCell or if it’s iOS 15 or a combination of both.

Advertising. The advertising is something we put up with but some adds are staying on longer and harder to get out of……Will have to stop playing on this platform as too annoying! Bad move ! Blackout bingo did not disappear from the screen…. It stays in indefinitely and will only disappear if you press play… this is forcing … it should not be allowed … it’s a joke

FreeCell Mobility Ware. Fabulous game. I am a senior citizen and I love the mental challenges this game gives me. It also has extra daily challenges which is great. I accept the ads as it is free. Regarding the snippets of interest, I never finish reading them as they delete too fast….

Multi player game doesn’t work any more. I love this game and have reached a decent level but when I try and earn more points after a daily challenge the first to work but the multi player game doesn’t. I’m connected to internet yet since 2 days ago it says ‘Internet needed to complete the game’ yet I’m connected to internet. Strangely this issue is only on my iPad but on my phone I complete all 3 challenges. Only iPad I can complete the first 2 but not the third challenge.

Thought provoking. Have been playing for several months and thoroughly enjoy the time I spend playing. An extremely satisfying way to pass time.

Beware there is a fault!. After playing close to 2,000 games without a lose, I accident clicked on “Play Now” on a pop up advert and was diverted to that game (which I didn’t play) however when I got back to FreeCell and checked the statistics I noticed that I had lost a game of FreeCell but this was not the case as o never got to finish it; very disappointed 🙁

Don’t bother, too many long ads between games.. I understand the need for ads on a free game, but I just counted 40 seconds on a royal match ad that I couldn’t close. The developers are not interested in monitoring ads on their app and don’t care about improving the experience, they are actually still adding stupid animations after each game. It’s time to delete it forever.

Love it - just shorten the ads.. I just finished game 10,000 and if I hadn’t been chucked out of one game, I would have a 100% win rate so you can tell this is my go-to game of choice. But suddenly the icon to complain about an ad has disappeared. And just as bad, you can’t fast forward after 5 seconds. Now I have to sit through repetitive ads like Royal Match for 30 seconds and occasionally I turn off because it is too much! Bring back the “5 seconds >” because if we don’t play, we don’t see the other Ads! I don’t mind the ads, I’ve even bought things. Btw - the game is fantastic! Very challenging and always different.

FreeCell relaxed. Being playing FreeCell for a while now and got to level 801 before getting a new phone. Decided to start again! Very relaxing way to start or finish the day. Easy to play and challenging enough to maintain interest.

Good for the brain. Just started playing this game again after a long break. The makers do a great job. An enjoyable way to start the day, along with other daily challenges by Mobility Ware. Still finding my way, but thoroughly enjoy the challenge.

Time to get rid of this. I’ve had this free cell for several years. It’s been my way of unwinding. Really have enjoyed it. But now one of the adds, Lightning Casino, you can’t get rid of. There is no little cross to click. I’ve turned my tablet off to try to reset it, but when I open free cell again it’s still stuck on that add page. I’ve wasted enough time trying to get back to my game. I’m deleting your free cell.

Freecell is great, BUT. Freecell itself is a fun game. But the ads are tedious. They go on and on and on, despite Freecell saying it’s OK, as the ads should only take a few seconds. Wrong. I always turn my device on airplane mode otherwise I am stuck with looooong drawn out ads, even if they are just for free games.

New updates wrecked a good game. The new updates have created a game so slow you can never attempt to reach any of the time records or even come close to the time scores I have had for years. Moving from game to game is extremely slow too and apparently everytime I open the app I have to wait for a very slow download which was not the case before. I am deleting the app after many years of playing. Would not even give 1 star if I could

It’s amazing!!. It’s amazing how mindless these games are and how many people waste their precious time on earth! Do something productive and fun…. go outside, read a book, anything other than staring at a screen!!

Review. Good software, but some of the adds are constructed, that it’s impossible to switch them out . Only closing the application and opening it again give a chance to get rid of them. Some of the adds instead of closing when cross is taped, take you to the Apple Shop.

MY opinion of Free Cell. I enjoy the game but it is infuriating to be put up a level all the time. I would rather it be an option. Elderly people do like to win sometimes and to have to go to a level when you are tired and just want one game before going to bed is NOT good. Please add this option and to me it will be top of the list!

FreeCell mobility ware. This game is fabulous and I have enjoyed playing it for many years. It challenges your mind and it never gets predictable or boring. A wonderful way to start each day. Lately it has changed. Now the ad does not come up with a cross to shut it down. I have reinstalled in several times but it keeps happening. After many years i may now be forced to leave this game. A shame. After many years it has gone for good now. This problem is too much!!!

Clearing Cobwebs. I thoroughly enjoy playing this game. It's not the best game in the world and doesn't pretend to be it is what it is. It's a game that doesn't rely on you using all you brain power to finish though it does present brain teasers and can be challenging at times. It's a game to play when you want to play something and zone out. 😇

Great game. Works well. Ads get more annoying and more difficult to close the longer I play this game. Only way to close some is to delete the app and redownload it. Enough of a challenge but easy enough to be relaxing.

Best freecell app available. This has always been the best freecell app on any platform. I agree with comments about adds, they are necessary but some of them hang and whenever I see the fake hand on the Candy Crush add I shudder. Gameplay, layout and clarity make it worth the inconvenience though

Very Annoying. You can play and then you have the ads freezing the game on you. Sometimes you can’t play again until the next day. Arhhh

Royal kingdom. Ads for Royal Kingdom are ruining all the solitaire games. They must be paying YOU SOME REALLY GOOD MONEY because the ads are non stop.

Dislike updates to Free Cell. I don’t like the new updates to free cell. I will no longer play.

Annoying ads that crash the game. There is an ad after every hand and some of them are 60 seconds long with multiple close buttons and screens. There is more time with ads then with the game. Half the ads crash the app with a black screen or restart half way through the ad, and I have to exit and restart. Very annoying for something I play to relax!

Free Cell. Ads in the middle of a game are a bit much. I press to deal another hand and get an ad?

Amazing game ruined by bad advertisements. I’ve had this game for a while and enjoy(ed) it a lot. If there was a one-time purchase option I would buy it for $5-$10 but it is not worth paying a recurring subscription price for. I would continue to play the as-supported edition but, while some ads are helpful/interesting, an increasing number have annoyingly small exit buttons, feature fake AppleUI pages to try to trick you into installing other games, unusual exit buttons, overly long skip delays, too repetitive, etc. It is making the game increasingly unplayable which is such a shame for a decent game.

Free Cell review. Free Cell becomes a must morning ritual for me. After playing over 2,000 games I still find daily challenges.

Good game, lame “goals”. This would be my favourite game if it didn’t have all the lame goals and missions. I’d rather just play the sequence (1,2,3…) of the games instead of having to be careful to avoid accidentally hitting a play button that leads me into playing a bunch out of sequence.

Fun game, BUT I don’t recommend. Fun and at times challenging card game. Looks good, plays smooth and responsive. The biggest issue I have are all the ads after every game. You often have to click X, then wait, then click X again and it’ll still try to take you to the page to buy whatever they’re advertising, then you press X again and if you’re lucky you’ll get back to the game. I wanted to buy the game, but guess what… you can’t. You can only subscribe with monthly payments to keep playing it. It’s not cheap, but if paid for a year up front, then it’s about $13 per year. So, if I like this game and want to keep playing for the next 5 years and beyond that, then the game will cost me like $65, which is absolutely F-ing ridiculous for a mobile game. Triple A console and PC games cost that much to buy. Anyway, I wouldn’t recommend for anyone to play and support a product from a greedy developer.

This WAS my favorite Solitaire game until…. I have subscribed to this app for many years and it was my favorite from all others I have until I loaded it this week and saw an yellow gold icon that resembles poop! I am sorry to be some blunt but I couldn’t believe you would choose this thing. Ignored it, hoped it would go away and played the game. The next day it was still there and I couldn’t figure out why you would choose such a hideous looking visual to advertise whatever is it’s purpose. Than I noticed at the top the words “Brain Game”. No way would I ever play it Can’t you choose something more visually appealing and pleasant looking? Or edit it since the brain isn’t yellow or gold anyway and add some some lines or something? Show all completed game #s!. Love this game! Decided to start from game 1 and work my way until the end - would be nice if I can scroll through all the game #s I’ve completed successfully. Currently it only shows 1 line (eg. 1-33, 47, 50-88….) and you can’t see the rest because it’s not expandable after the “…”

Ads, ads, ads!!. Full screen ads after every game and every restart. More ads than game. Terrible app.

Too Easy. App works well but the games are too easy. There is never a set up that can’t be solved quickly.

Frustrating. I know it’s a game to develop patience, but I find its rules frustrating. I think we should be allowed to move descending alternating sequences of any length. That way, it would be a lot more fun. One could create long strings and move them, it would be very satisfying instead of always getting messages to the effect that only so many cards can be moved.

Game freezes. I’ve downloaded this game a few times now because of ads freezing the game. I thought this was supposed to be fixed but apparently not. Also if your going to have ads do we really need three screens trying to get us to download what ever game we’re not interested in? The only ones that I feel are acceptable are the ones that close on the first x you hit, they should all work be like this in my opinion. Otherwise I love the game and play it many times a day, my rating is strictly because of the issue of freezing. Once again the game is frozen and I’ve updated it also, so much fo fixing the issues

The Best!. Excellent game. Been playing for couple of years now. Can’t think of any improvements that are needed.

Too many long annoying ads. They play stupid games with placement of the exit button on the ads to trick user into being click bait. Ads are way too long, repetitive and frequent on.

I have 3 of the mobility games. I like the 3 games that I have, but I just wish that the bits of information that they provide at the beginning of each different game would stay on the screen just a bit longer.

Free Cell. I play this game a lot, and would have given it five stars, except some of the ads (especially the blue ad with 3 sections advertising lawyers maybe??). Every time it comes up, there is no place to click and make it go away. So the game is frozen for very long periods, like an hour & more, and the only way to get rid of it is to turn the machine right off and back on, or go play something else for quite a while.

Love game- some ads are too violent. I play this game daily, it is lovely in every way however the ads that are shown can be very violent. The most violent ads are usually other gaming ads, snipers shooting at people in a plaza, zombies attacking and violently assaulting people, those are too much. I quit the game every time there is a too violent ad. These ads are too violent for general consumption. Maybe if this was a similar game but Not solitaire. The ads are getting more and more violent. If this continues I will need to find another outlet. Please review what ads you are allowing on your platform.

I like the game but ad placement is poorly managed. I have been playing this game for a year or so and enjoy it. But the ads are just getting out of hand. After downloading the latest version on my iPad earlier this week I now have to deal with an ad at the bottom center of the screen obscuring the controls, such as to get a hint or redeal the hand. Judging from some of the other reviews this has been going on for some time, like a year, and the support folks don’t seem to think it is important enough to fix. Well, since I can no longer control use of the features and support does not want to fix the problem it looks like its time to check out some of the competing free cell games out there. Adios!

Good game, could improve. I really enjoy this game and play it nearly every day. I like the puzzle aspect. And the design is just like the old windows game, which is great! However, the ads are my only complaint with this game. They pop up too often and take a while to be able to skip, as the ad won’t put up the little white X until halfway into the ad. I also would not mind paying to get rid of the ads but I do not want a subscription. Most apps will do a one time fee and the game is considered to be purchased and ads are removed. However that option is not offered here. I would give it 5 stars if not for that.

Really not enjoying the latest update. I really do like to play cards this way. I like the daily challenges. I like the events. However, I really hate a few things about the last update. The new graphics for the events are not appealing to me. I find them juvenile in appearance. I feel that 75 games is too many for an event. The untenable number doesn’t challenge me, rather it makes me not want to try. I also dislike that after two attempts, the game deal changes automatically. I’d rather make my own decisions about how many attempts I make at a particular deal. As a result I’m finding myself playing less.

Ads ruin the game. They have destroyed this game been playing for years but now the ads won’t let you play unless you download new games and pay. My phone locks up preventing me from using the FreeCell app. I see that people have payed for add free but they still get ads so why bother doing that. An occasional ad is ok but these new ads that prevent you for exiting the ad is just not right. If I want to play I have to reboot my phone which isn’t a good . I will look for another app to play this game on.

Random ad. I have loved this game and have played it for a long time. Recently, this app (and only this app) has put an add in for candy crush that I can’t skip and have to wait more then 30 seconds to be able to click start game and then I have to wait for a random ad. The random ad has been there and that’s fine but the other one shows up randomly even when I am in the middle of a game. Not cool. I probably will remove the app because of this. Even shutting off the app and restarting it just makes the candy crush ad start again. Just to note, I really hate candy crush and will never play it.

Cancelling my many year’s long subscription. I have endured the many, many in-app “game options” that this app provides for a PAYING customer. But they have finally gotten so “in my face” that I can’t see to play the card game that I am paying for. If there was a way to opt out of this trash, I would just do that and stay with the game I have loved for so long. But there isn’t, so I must bid a fond farewell to a friend I once knew, but don’t recognize anymore. If you want to play cards, this isn’t your app. It’s not about cards anymore - it’s about puzzles and other things that I never signed up for.

Portland Doula Julie. I am totally dependent on my Free Cell phone game for keeping me calm when my life gets too stressful. I can go immediately into “ the zone” and everything else on my To-Do List fades away. I would love to play competitively by randomly picking a number and having two people start playing the same game at the same time. But so far, I haven’t found anyone willing. (I’m at Level 927 now, I think.) My brother in R.I. (I’m in Oregon) plays strategically, and thoughtfully, so has a 100% record of solving the games. I like to play fast and furiously, so have only around a 70-something, or maybe an 80-something % solution record. I can’t remember. (I’m 78, and my husband and I are about to celebrate our 50th Anniversary (a small miracle, since we are probably the most incompatible couple on the planet!). He is committed to his computer cribbage game so has zero interest in Free Cell. Too bad. He would be a worthy opponent.) Our kids know that if my Free Cell malfunctions, they MUST come immediately to the rescue!!!

New version review. One of the things that I liked about the old version was total won without a loss. I was just over 400 and was taking a break, the game had become a little boring, a few times, when you upgraded. This new version I have had a little more difficulty with, could be tougher in general or I lucked out with some of the more difficult configurations or I’m not as good as I used to be. Whatever the reason I am back at it still looking for the elusive 3 minute game and I do like the changes that you have made. Thanks

Forever player!!. With the latest upgrade, I like this version much better. I play daily as I'm obsessed with playing each of the million games available therefore the ability to play numerically in sequence is fantastic. Love this game, hate the “freezing” of the cell, it’s most annoying Boy this sounds just like my experience with this game. Why did this game suddenly become so easy a few months ago?. After many thousands of games, I had a 95% winning percentage and a longest winning streak of 134. Then, all of a sudden, every “random” deal became easy, and I never lose anymore. I had a winning streak of 527, then lost one game, and now have a new streak of 518, which amounts to 1035 wins in 1036 games. I didn’t instantly become that good. Every “random” deal has aces near the bottom and rarely has any cards I need buried at the top. Instead of making every deal be easy, can we have difficulty levels, so those of us who want to be challenged can get truly random deals that will sometimes be difficult to solve?

Granddaddy’s Favorite Pastime. My grandfather played card games in his last days back in the 1940s. I remember he spent a lot of time shuffling the decks. Wish he had been able to enjoy your version and all the marvels of the electronics we enjoy today. He would probably dance a jig not having to shuffle and deal the many games he played! Playing this game is really a neat way to keep the old brain sharp! He could have played thousands more if he could have laid out the cards with the push of a key. He was the most brilliant person I’ve ever know, and he was sharp as a tack until the end. Hope my DNA and Free Cell does as well for me!

Not happy. After playing for many years, I now just quit in middle of game because there is a game ad that covers up my task bar or whatever it is called at the bottom of the screen. I am not able to remove it or X out of it. Ruins my game. May quit altogether. They are just wanting me to pay for no ads or download a game I had played for years. Can’t Crush just wasn’t fun anymore. It became difficult & tiring. After 2500 games, I would try to play , but the game that came up was not the number I was on. So pleas remove the Candy Crush ad from my free cell & I might continue.

Begging for my original Mobility Spider I also lost Word Trip another favorite of mine.. I have played spider solitaire on this phone for years I first had the deluxe game loved because of my service it then I lost it never able to recoup I’m 84 female I wish you would help me to get the first delux game back the app would be great you recently teased me with a preview of my original game I’m not able to pay my phone is on my daughters family plan I loved the tecnogy of this game it was so cool to see the displays after every win an I won a lot ❤️

Minor issue. When a random deal is selected, why can I then NOT view the number of that deal? If I want to share the deal number with a friend and challenge them on one that I found especially difficult, or simply check it against the lists of "extremely difficult" or "unbeatable" deals, (let's say I've tried for quite some time to win, and can't) I can not. Seems like an easy fix. Maybe in subsequent versions? Please? Otherwise, LOVE this game! (I can put up with the ads, you have a business to run. I get that.) Thanks!

Free Cell. Love this game. One that senior's can play, enjoy ourselves and it doesn't make us pay! I play it many times during a day and it doesn't aggravate me when I don't win the game; I just start over and enjoy the next game. Thank you very much for thinking of the older generation on a fixed income. My great grandson plays with me sometimes and he likes it also. I also like the fact that I can use my husband’s picture as background. He received his Heavenly wings 10 years ago and I talk to him as I play.

HATE the two ads before every game you are forced to watch. I hate the two ads before every game. You are forced to watch them. If you are listening to an audiobook and trying to play FreeCell, it takes you out of your book every time an ad is played. Very frustrating. Too bad… Because it is a great game and a very good app. I’m removing it from my cell phone for the second time. Just can’t stand to be harassed this way. Not paying every month for the privilege of no hassle.

Update needs a bug fix. I don’t remember when I got my first iPhone but I have been playing Free Cell for several years. I just recently did the update and I’m really not very happy with some of the problems such as: making a selection to play one of the goal games and then having the screen go totally blank and nothing happens!! Having to get out of the game and totally clear/close the program and then go back in and make your selection all over again!! It’s frustrating having the ads come pop up and difficult at times to get rid of them!! Hopefully you will be able to get these bugs fixed real soon!!!!

Could be better. There's no option to skip winning animations, which I find annoying because I'm not interested in collecting them. The leveling system is kind of buggy, the titles appear at random instead of every five levels like their other games, and doesn't seem to automatically update the name above the level bar. The ads are repetitive and sometimes unskippable, which I can understand for the Pyramid app since the ads are used to buy rewards there, but that's not the case here. The worst part is that I'm unable to play music while using this app for whatever reason, even though sound has been disabled. Not sure why the volume for this app needs to be in the foreground when it shouldn't be producing any sound at all..

Solitaire. Dear Developers, I’ve played your game for years, something I like to do to relax before I hit the hay. Used to be commercials were 5 seconds long and then you could close them, no problem. Now, half the time they crash the game, freezing up my screen. At times when I’m finally able to close the ad the AUDIO keeps on playing, insult to injury. Before you ask, I am using an IPad with 5gig internet speed, as fast as it gets, and yet there’s major LAG. In a simple game like Solitaire, this is ridiculous. Do you really need the worthless rewards incentives like making it through Yosemite or wherever or all the coding that gives the player meaningless ranks and titles, etc etc. For what reason? Perhaps the logic is that this is what makes your app stand out. On the contrary, it resigns it to the trash heap with all the other ad-centric crap out there.

Great classic game!. Great game! Addicting! Minimal ads compared to other free apps. Love the little comments and hints that pop up at bottom of screen in beginning of game. I love the 3 daily challenges. If I had any comment, it would be maybe an option to enable to play a card from the foundation (without going through “undo” function). Another idea is I seem to remember in the old desktop version, Aces went to foundation automatically, pretty minor but it would be handy. Very minor input bc it’s a nearly perfect game! 😉

Great Game no long annoying ads Except for ROYAL MATCH. I love this game they have advertisements for the benefit of the player with a quick out if you are not interested in the or perhaps you’ve seen the ad a thousand times already. Now this use to be true until ROYAL MATCH started HIJACKING your ad viewing time and in many occasions not allowing you to return to your game time. There should be a law against this. Royal match seems to do this in most mobile games I play. They also cause a hard crash where you have to re-log into the game. But this seems to be less at FREECELL but it is now getting just as bad. All game formats need to monitor and correct this issue this is not fair. Thank you Mobility ware You are truly the best game out there. In 2002 it began as therapy. I first started playing MobilityWare FreeCell in 2002 to give my spirit a boost during 6 months of chemo. I tried all of the Freecells and this was best. It has a very natural look and feel. When I won the game it used to give me the sound of a crowd cheering, which gave me a rush of good feeling. And I would imagine that the creative card patterns flipping around at the end were celebrating ME! Since then I have played it a few times every day, and it never is boring. There has never been a particular deal that I couldn't win eventually with replays. As I played, I noticed my strategies and it became a way of learning about myself. I even wrote a page-long essay called Life Lessons I Learned From FreeCell. I would be so grateful if the designers could put back the cheering at the end. What the hell is going on!?. 8/10 times when I'm playing a game, I'm doing it while attempting(attempting!) to listen to something. On rare occasions, it's music. Commonly, it's a podcast. Whether it be from a website, or an app, there's always interference. The podcast stops when an add can't be muted, or isn't muted fast enough. Or lately, either when I'm in the middle of a game, and an ad randomly starts playing, or after a hand has been dealt, and I move the first card. Then I have to restart the podcast, it plays for a few seconds, only to stop again. Is this by design? Is it a glitch? Is it just me?

Purchased No Ads option but still getting them. UPDATE: After the second message, I received a response and was able to solve the issue, am not receiving anymore Ads. I purchase the No Ads for a year but am still having to view them. I have written customer service but have not received a response. I tried cancelling my subscription but it looks like it’s still giving me the No Ads version though I’m still getting Ads. Not happy that they are not addressing this issue. Other than that, I love his game. Have been playing it for a very long time and it’s still challenging.

Subscription was a deal breaker. I liked the app but way too many ads. I was hoping they would add a way to give them some money to get rid of ads, but when they recently added the premium mode that was a subscription model I promptly deleted the whole app. This type of game has no good reason to be on a recurring subscription. —- Later update - I found the game, same developer and same features, as a paid app for $5 which I was fine with paying. If they would have offered the no ads version as an in-app purchase they would have had my $5 months ago. The subscription model on this one just angered me, and finding that it is merely a tax on the lazy makes me come back and lower the rating here. Pick this for the free with ads, if you’re going to pay go find the other version.

FreeCell. Enjoy playing the game to sharpen what ever dim witts I have! Dislike the adds and their somewhat cunning ways to X out of them. It has almost become as sometimes challenging as the game, I.e. like colored x’s in the image, when being searched by the older less sighted humans on a smaller screen, that gravitate to solitary games, cute! The automatic placement of cards in that crucial move counting daily goals game just refreshes the life’s lesson of our having choices and taking them wisely and if not knowing that only we are to blame. There’s more to this then meets the eye! Will you ever run out of titles for accomplishments? It’s another fun part of the FreeCell experience!

Update Sept 2023 I tried it again, and now the game shows unclosable ads WHILE I’M PLAYING so I deleted the app again. Update March 2024 still shows ads WHILE IM PLAYING!! Deleted after 17 seconds.

I Love my GAMES. I LOVE my games because y’all send out different characters to celebrate all my wins…………..! YAH>>>>>>>>>>>>>>It isn’t just a game there are always some that is in the background helping you as you play!!! Someone knows I am up early playing and when I stay up late…..!!!!!! All the characters make all the difference when I win, and it makes me feel good. My BIG thanks to you for all y’all do to make this game worth every minute that I play!!! Challenging But Fun. I love Mobility Free Cell Game. It is not only fun to sit down at any unexpected/unknown venue and play one of these games to pass one's unexpected excess time but to challenge your mind in solving these puzzles. To me, the lacking part of the designers/developers of the software is in the accomplishments of obtaining a new level e.g. from Level 23 to Level 24; okay but I do not believe at this time, one can go past Level 39 - even if they have accomplished reaching goals beyond that. I had done over 90 games & the game reset itself to a lower level in the 30's. But despite all - I still enjoy very much the challenge of these puzzles.

Enjoy this game. I love playing this game. I really like that there are daily games and challenges. However, some of the challenges don’t work. If it says fill cells with 2,3,4 before completing game, I have tried doing all 2s, then all 3s, etc., and this did not work. Then I tried completing 2,3,4 in one suit, then the next for all four suits. It still did not show I had completed the challenge when I completed the game. This also happens when it says something like complete all 9s before going any higher. I do it, but it does not show that I have completed the challenge when I finish the game, which is very frustrating, so I skip these challenges.

I like FreeCell, except when ads override silent mode. I have enjoyed playing FreeCell, and understand the need for ads since I’m playing the free version. However, sometimes (and unpredictably, ads will blare out with audible sound, even though I have my iPhone set on Silent mode. I would GREATLY appreciate if this can be fixed, since I do not care for these random occurrences. I have my phone set to Silent (using the hard Mute button on the side of my phone) for a reason, namely that I do not want to disturb anyone who may be within earshot while I am using my device.

Game interrupted. I love this app playing for years! however for the last week I’ve been getting a video ad in the middle of my game when I cancel it out I have to start over again losing my score, what is going on? Except for that I’ll give a five star rating! Like the other reviewer said tried other apps and other games this one is the best! Please let me know what you can do about this very frustrating! I don’t mind it being in a record for a commercial but I do mind losing the game and having to start all over.

Error. Keep getting internet connection problems on daily challenge. There is one. UPDATE: found that suddenly the app was not working with NORDVPN connected. Had been doing daily challenges for a long time with it connected so this is new. Also found Word Wiz has problems with the VPN. The app comes up with a puzzle but the letters do not recognize being touched. They’re dead. With VPN off it works fine. Read a review from someone complaining that one false move on the FreeCell game selection will wipe out your wins. I’ve had this happen 3 times. That’s a pain. However these are my games. Love them.

Version 4.3.0 graphics. This recent update changed the graphics to be much brighter but ironically the shapes of the care suites are harder to distinguish. Hearts and diamonds look very similar; clubs and spades look very similar. The suite icons are larger but almost blurry so don't have distinct shapes. The intense brightness makes me need to keep looking away to rest my eyes. For me, this changes a solid 5-star game down to a 4-star. Can you give me an option to restore the older graphics, which were very clear and distinct, and more relaxing to look at? Otherwise, this is still the best Freecell game out there. Thanks.

Nice solid Freecell implementation. I’ve been playing this for a few years now. It’s a good implementation of Freecell, and it’s obvious that a lot of work has gone into it. However, the adverts are annoying (and painfully irrelevant). I appreciate that the developers have to make a living, so when an option to “pay to remove ads” appeared in the latest version, I thought “why not? I’ll chip in a couple of bucks”. Nope. Boy, did I get a shock. Sorry, developers, but NO phone card game applet (no matter how well written) is worth $5 per month. As a one-off fee, sure. But not recurring. It’s Freecell for goodness’ sakes, not a magazine subscription or a VPN service!

Betty’s Luck.. I LOVE this game. Can’t believe it took me a while to catch on but boy when I did I became addicted. My favorite thing was teaching my mom to play. It quickly became her favorite pastime activity. she took to it like a duck to water and had so much fun. She kept track of her favorite games and we swapped notes and passed along the game numbers!! Thank you so very much that!!! This is fabulous for insomnia too. Gets your mind off whatever’s bugging you!!! Sweet!!! Love playing the game. I’ve been playing the game for quite a while. Recently the ads have been defaulting to a white screen with no recourse but to close the app, delete the white screen, then reopen the app. One problem, if you’re trying to win the previous game the replay game does not bring up the game you were previously playing. Or, if you are just trying to play a new game you may get the white screen again (see recourse above) this is very disrupting. I thought it would resolve itself. It’s now been two weeks and I’m beginning to get VERY frustrated. Please fix, or at least don’t run these particular ads as it reflects poorly on your product. My rating has moved from 5 stars down to two.

Good app. The game of FreeCell is great, but this rating is for the app. It’s simple, there are definitely ads but in my opinion they are minimal, and I can’t complain since it’s free. There are plenty of options to choose from so you can play the way you want, and the daily goals make it just that much more fun, to keep me hooked. I also like how they track statistics. You can play offline which is nice. Overall, it’s very well done. So well done that I have wasted entire days playing this game. The app asked me to rate it and I figured I owed at least that much to them, so there you go.

A slave to FreeCell. I don’t know why this caught on to my brain and to my fingers. Once I start, I can’t stop and I have to realize there are other things in my life that need attention. Kids are grown. Grandkids are close by. It’s just me and my dogs now and freestyle, it’s like an addiction and the more I win the more I want to play. So I do call an addiction and I think I have that kind of personality when I find something I like that’s all I want to do as in knitting I should probably put it to good use like cleaning my house but I put that on the back burner. It does get done. But I put it off because there’s another game to win.

Calming freecell. This is the best freecell app ever. It gives you the option to be bright and flashy or not. I play this before bed every night and it’s perfect because I mindlessly tap away. I keep the animation and hints to a minimum, the screen can be locked so you can comfortably play on your side, the ads are only 5 seconds long in between games (ads a re a must to keep it free but they don’t pop up randomly during play) and best of all it’s full screen and doesn’t show the time!! That’s beneficial because I like to play until my eyes are heavy and if I see the time that can cause anxiety before bed. Plus the statistics are really thorough. Great app!!!

FreeCell is great.. The problem with this app is that it has special “events “ every few days. These are basically the same game with irritating variations to distract you and slow you down. It pops up with a screen announcing the “event “. There’s two buttons. One to try now and one to try it later. There’s no option for go away and let me play the game I love. So, if you accidentally hit the button for play now, all your games are styled for the “event” until it ends. That could be up to a week, depending on the “event schedule.” The only way to get out of the “event “ is to delete the app and reinstall it. This eliminates your points, levels, and top scores. There has to be a better way. — needless to say, I’m disappointed.

Stop changing games. I love to play this to get my mind to figure things out. I might have to play the same game a few times but I usually always get thru to get to the next level. With the latest update, if I want to replay a level when I get stuck, it changes the game I wanted to replay and the goal completely. I was playing a “win this level with only 3 freecells” and now playing “win this in 3 minutes” Can you just leave it alone? I enjoy the challenge of trying to pass a level and will restart it again and again, knowing my mind figured it out but it took me a few tries. Now, I feel stupid cause the game took it upon itself to level me up.

Daily challenge a plus. This game keeps improving. It’s more than just playing a game of FreeCell. I love the daily challenges (which I believe started in February 2019) and collecting crowns throughout the month. Combining that with the daily goals, and trying to win all 3 in one hand is the super-challenge. the challenges/goals also teach me to play with different strategies, (ie, moving no more than 2 cards at a time, or getting a Jack on the home pile within 75 moves, etc). And I have my favorite background—my pet bird staring back at me—to greet me when I play. The game is fun and relaxing. Thanks!

Auto win. I have decided to update my review. I love love to play this card game and since I’ve been told how to stop the auto win setting I am happy. I love to figure out how to win on my own. Thank you for telling me how to do that I hate hate hate it when the game starts moving the cards ..I want to play the game myself. When the cards take off on their own my train of thought goes away and all my strategizing goes away. I want to win or lose on my own…that’s what makes the game fun.

Great version of FreeCell. A great version of FreeCell. It is a favorite game of mine and has done it all right. It has has challenges and hints. An auto complete when the game is clearly won. The only real weakness with this app is the ads. The ads are rarely interesting to me and come up at the end of every game. I have yet to find a good paid version of the FreeCell so I guess it something I have been able to accept. If it were not for the ads I would give 5 stars. It is a free app but the ads are so annoying that I personally would prefer to pay but I have no options to do so.

Love the app!! Needs some tweaking.. Very good app!! However it needs some tweaking. 1. Ads: Know it costs money to develop these apps. However, when you “X” out of an ad, that should be it!!! Not having to “X” out a second or more times to get rid of the bear or baldy. Also, have the X in the same place, not switching sides. Additionally “CrossXInstall” needs to change names....have blindly hit the X in the name. 2. Auto move: If there is two possible moves for card(s), and the auto-move feature is used, it should ask which one. Too many times, it doesn’t move to the more logical location and then you have to waste a move to replace it. 3. Game game numbers. One previous comment, stated that there should be a game number and the difficulty level shown. It would be nice to have un-winable games removed, or the ability for the players to request they not be shown. Once again a great app...just needs tweaking.

Last week this would have been a 5. Thank you for your response, although it didn’t really say anything. May I suggest you alternate the events weekly. Two games have an event one week and another two games have an event the following week. Ect. Also no 75 games in one event. 50 is pushing the limit. I give up. You win. I have always loved the events but, no more. It was one thing to have 10 or 15 in one game per week but 200 is impossible. And FreeCell events are the hardest ones. 75 in one week? Stupid. Then add 50 each to Solitaire and Castles, plus 25 in Spider. In case you don’t know how to add that is 200 games in one week. Over 28 per day - if you win them all on the first try. I do have a life outside of Mobilityware. Btw, I do prefer Mobilityware games over any others. If I can’t earn the badge, I pre not to play at all. I’m mad.

Great game But malfunctioning ads ruin it.. I've played this version of FreeCell for as long as FreeCell has been out, it's always been great. Something has changed, though, and not for the better. I keep getting ads that either don't have any content and lock up my phone so I have to shut it down and reboot or they play in the middle of a game while the game is going the ad is going – – very distracting and annoying – – or I have to sit and listen for 15 to 30 seconds with no opportunity to cancel the ad before I can play. If I game takes between two and four minutes, I'm spending way too much of my time watching ads. I make a point of not buying anything in those ads. Even so, It's gotten to where I simply have no desire to play. Nice way to ruin a really good game, guys.

Some ads refuse to go away. This is a decent free cell app. However there are ads that do not time out or allow you to close them. “Better Me” is an example. It insists that I must click on the App Store links to download an app that is going to help me walk away fat, and even then the ad will not go away. My only option is to shut down and restart my device or forget about playing free cell. There are occasional pop ups that tell me I can report these rogue advertisers via some function in settings, but I have been unable to identify such a tool. This problem is so annoying that it takes all the fun out of using the app and playing free cell. I have not had this issue with any other “free” game app, including the Spider solitaire offered by this company.
