More Work Than Play. This solitaire game use to be fun and a nice relaxing distraction. Now it feels more like work or a job with constant “events” weekly that keep increasing in the ridiculous number of games to achieve the end goal all for a badge. What was 50 games is now 75. When will the increase cease? If that weren’t enough they throw in “puzzles” to complete which take at least 47 pieces per puzzle. This monotonous week after week grind feels like a job and not a fun game or distraction any longer. One of the last types of games in this events are “time” constraints on 4-5 deals. The times to be met are as low as 1:25 a game. For senior citizens I would say that’s not always doable. I do not understand this need by the game creators for this new “ events” environment. After playing several times the patterns are repetitive and boring. I would not recommend this game to others in its current state. I have submitted my concerns only to be given the brush off in a reply. Apparently they’ve lost touch with what truly matters people and love of the game.

Love the game but not liking the changes. First of all I really do love this game. I’ve been playing it for years. I would highly recommend it. So why only three stars. The stars are for this version only. I use this game as my personal time reward. When I’ve accomplished what needs to get done in the morning I reward myself by playing the daily challenge. But I don’t like the new changes to the sound. I used to love to hear the click of the cards and the trumpet awards at the end of the daily challenge. It was inspiring. Now in order to get those little rewards I have to also listen to the drawn out harp blasts. Sorry but I just find those annoying, not inspiring. I will continue to play this game but I will turn off the sound for most days. Only to turn it on and endure the harp sound on the 10th, 20th and 30th play days. I’m sure this seems silly to many that I’m making a big deal about the sound but again this game is my personal reward for a job well done. If an added feature is interfering in what was once a pleasurable experience I think it should be brought to the creators attention. On your next update please consider creating an extra toggle setting so that one may remove new added sounds whilst still allowing the old sounds be on during play. Thank you.

Wonderful game, but disappointed, too. I’ve been addicted to this game (and app) for several years and play for relaxation every day. I’ve been pleased with the developer’s updates and improvements to the app over time. I must say, though, that the advertisements have become decidedly more onerous over time. Interestingly, and sadly, immediately following my previous (and my first) more-positive review, of a couple years ago, the ads seemed to get quite a bit worse. That’s probably just an unfortunate coincidence bit, of course, I have no way to know. For that reason, I have until now avoided submitting a newer review. (And I really hope the game experience doesn’t worsen the very next time I play.) I’d be happy to pay-for this version of the game app, actually, if I could dispense with the time-consuming and increasingly tricky and complicated ads, because the game itself is really quite well done. As soon as I complete this review, I’ll check to see if that option is available to me, then update my impressions.

Unrealistic times. Upon completion a game, your score is posted in comparison to the highest score attained in the game. Impressive numbers, but has anyone ever looked at those scores? 120 moves in less than 30 seconds? That means the player was making an average of 4 moves a second (in many games 3-5 moves a second). These numbers are very impressive and completely unrealistic. In fact, those scores are impossible. If you have a problem solving one game, the solution may be a minimum of 160+ moves, but when you finally get a score for that game, you’ll see the highest score has fewer moves — which tells this detective that the highest scores are not at all possible. The ads are distracting and intended to be difficult to ignore. Pay for no advertising? Payment only removes the ads temporarily, as I’ve found out with this company: each time the game was revised, I’ve had to pay to remove the ads (three times now). Why not charge for the game once rather than being forced to pay to remove the ads? The cards move like they are flowing through honey in winter upon reaching using auto complete. My scores in this app are the lowest of any game I’ve played online due to card speeds.

Cluttered and pushy. I’ve had a love/hate relationship with mobilityware’s card games for years. The actual game play is quite nice, the variety of available card games is good, and the rules configurability is mostly good. It gets confusing between draw 1 and draw 3 or similar options and the daily challenge for a given game, but it’s nice to have that challenge to know that, for instance, a given Klondike game is actually solvable in draw 3 mode (instead of only playing random deals). But all the other features are just a distraction. I don’t want different card backs, or “special events”, or “trophies”, or any of the other junk in there. Each of their games is pushy about getting you to try their other games, and the advertising they use often has incredibly annoying features like tiny hitboxes for the X or next button, or very long timeouts before that button is even available. I would happily pay a small app fee for a simple ad-free solitaire game but the recurring subscription price is just ridiculous, and all of the extra development they do to try to justify the fee is for features I actively dislike.

Still addictive but new version is a mixed bag. Overall I really like the new version of the app. Accessing the daily puzzle is a snap. If you miss a few days, catching up is also simpler. Once you complete the daily puzzle, it offers you the chance to play the next puzzle. Accepting this option will automatically open the last daily puzzle you missed, saving you time. Additionally, you can now see a visual representation of your progress towards the monthly trophies every time you complete a daily puzzle. The old version was better in one respect.....you could access your trophies on a calendar going back to the first month you played the app. Unfortunately, the new version no longer lets you see all of your trophies. Both the number of games I had played and the trophies earned were a source of pride. I have had this app since December 2015 and I have completed every daily puzzle since I downloaded it. Now I only have access to two months of data. I miss being able to see the trophies I have earned.

Big fan. I’ve been playing this version of solitaire for years now, and I’ve never left a review even though I talk about what I like and don’t like with the app to myself often. The two main suggestions I have for feedback are in regards to the daily challenge calendar and the level up system. 1) I try to play daily with the challenges to get a jeweled crown, and have tried to commit to a full month. I was disappointed when the incentive for getting the jeweled crown is nothing more than satisfying a need for completeness that I desire for everything to match. My thought here is that 10, 20 or a full month of jeweled crowns would result in a jeweled trophy. To distinguish from a normal trophy or daily challenges played after the day has passed. 2) I think the daily challenge should be worth more points than a normal game - again for more incentive to play them. I’ve reached the point where the I try to get the most bang for my buck. I won’t typically play more than 10 games a day to maximize my point return. The only other feedback I have is that at times, no ad shows up. The screen goes black and there isn’t an option to “x” out of that screen. You have to exit the app and open it back up to get the game screen.

I enjoy the daily challenge of the game. While the last paragraph here is from a prior post, it still holds true! I’m moved to comment upon how much I enjoy the new ‘event’ process .. quick ‘puzzles’ with an extended period for solving 50!! I am enjoying being a subscriber. If I were to ask for anything, it would be an ‘on demand’ ability with multiple opportunities for the “show me” feature. Perhaps a new feature providing game tips and strategy? And maybe the ability to reorganize graphics so that I can review my favorites more easily? Thanks again! I enjoy the ease of play and the daily challenge. While I'm amazed at the number of speedy players, I'm satisfied with simply solving games and developing a series of successful months of play. I don't have much time to play, and with the added "show me" I am comfortable being able to proceed after being stymied for several attempts. Thanks for the dedicated programming. Ken

BAIT AND SWITCH. Last year I paid for the ad free version ($5.) it was great. Lately it started to slow down and be annoyingly unresponsive at each game start. I deleted it and reloaded the app from the cloud and all was well. It began to do that again today. Deleted the app went to the App Store found my iCloud download and now I have a game that I have to pay daily or monthly or annually for ad free solitaire what the hell. What a ripoff. Update! Within minutes of sending this rating I heard back from mobilityware explaining what may be occurring and provided a link to reinstall my original app. It worked. A few minutes later I received an email from Brian at mobilityware. He provided the same link but added that the source of the hiccup was possibly in IOS. Go to apps then purchases, and reinstall original app. So, from a knee jerk one star review regarding tactics, to a five star rating. I prefer this solitaire app over others and appreciated the speedy attention to my concern

Ads DURING a game!. 3/24: Thanks for the response, but that doesn’t tell me “what/which” bugs were fixed “to improve my gameplay experience.” All the items you listed were all included in previous “updates,” by the way, which (the coding) served to slow gameplay DOWN! I already knew some ads were shorter and dismissible, although the “X” to delete the ad is much smaller and needs to be hit “precisely” or it leads to frequent redirection to the ad anyway taking “away” from my gameplay experience. Plus, after the redirect to the ad, the game completely reboots...didn’t do that previously. Finally, the ad isn’t broken (it’s not the same ad which breaks into a game), the game is broken because it allows ads to be play DURING my gameplay experience. So, what did you fix? 3/19: Before I even think about updating to the new version, after the last disaster, I want to know EXACTLY what bugs were fixed “to improve my gameplay experience.” 3/15: Even you people have to think this is too much! And paying a subscription to remove ads? Please! Way to ruin a game.

Excellent game but overrides your audio. This game is excellent, with many options including auto-complete, daily challenge, points and levels, statistics, and bonus points for 3 different types of challenges. It’s quite addictive but not overly so. It’s very nice that all ads can be dismissed after just a few seconds. My only compliant is that, as with all MobilityWare apps, the ads do not respect your audio settings. That is: you can be listening to a dictated article using Pocket, or listening to music using Musi, or have your phone set to “vibrate” - all of these are paused or stopped when this game plays an ad with audio. The only exception is when I have Do Not Disturb turned on, but that’s not good if I don’t want to miss calls. So you have to kill the game to make the sound stop, go back to your audio program, start it back up, and then start Solitaire back up again. I raised this issue with the company for their Yukon Russian game and they said they’d fix it, but it seems to have only gotten worse on both games. It’s a major irritation and hence 4 stars out of 5.

Too many commercials. This app used to have pop up ads in between each game. Ok, no problem, I’d take a quick peek at the ad and it was something I was interested in I’d click on it to learn more, if not I’d close the ad and resume playing. I expect that with a free app. But now, especially over the last year or so they’ve moved onto running 30 second commercials that you can’t turn off if you’re not interested. It’s like watching local tv now. And thus happens after every game - about every 3 minutes or so. Additionally, they’ve now got ads that when you click on the X to close it, it opens up the ad in your phones browser instead. Everything is now about clickbait now and it’s become a real nuisance. Don’t get me wrong, the game itself is excellent - I’ve been playing it on my phone for years, but for something as simple as solitaire, to expect someone to upgrade and pay for this to minimize all the commercials when there are hundreds of solitaire apps out there that don’t make you take a minute long commercial break every 3 minutes of play, the choice is obvious. I’ve been a loyal user of this app for several years, but I’ve had it up to here with this nonsense. I’ll be looking for another solitaire app and when I find one I like, I’ll be deleting this one permanently. Sorry guys, you’ve got a great game here, but you’ve seriously overestimated what it’s worth to players to keep using it.

Fun game, BUT…. I enjoy this version of solitaire, but I think it’s preposterous to expect people to pay $1.99 a MONTH to essentially “rent” the ad- free version of the game, especially considering that solitaire is literally free on any Windows PC, and has been for 30 years. What makes it worse is many of the ads appear to be for THIS DEV’S games, which means they’re essentially forcing you to waste time watching the set-duration video ads for THEIR OWN GAMES. Like, c’mon, just give us the splash screen version of the ad instead of holding us hostage because we don’t want to pay up to $24 a year to not see ads for your other games! If they had just made it a one-time purchase outright to go ad-free, I would have paid for it, happily, because as I said, it’s a fun version. To further complicate the ads issue, I only use this game app on my iPad, which I typically only use when sitting in doctor’s offices or waiting rooms and don’t have access to Wi-Fi. I have noticed an alarming trend that when I don’t have access to the internet (my iPad is Wi-Fi only), I get dealt a higher series of unwinnable hands, and then the moment I return home and have Wi-Fi—bam! I start winning again. I like the game, as I said, but this mess with the ads is making me think about just using a different app altogether.

So frustrating. I’ve been playing on this app for year. I think close to a decade and before there were ads. I play it daily but I only play two or three games. It’s just enough for me to finish the daily challenges. I don’t mind the ads anymore even though it’s at least 3+ prompts to get through them. But what does keep me from playing more often is the ads start playing sound despite me having my phone on silent. I even have sounds turned off in this apps settings. It’s SO embarrassing when I’m in public like a doctors waiting room. It’s usually dead silent in those spaces. Then when I’m home and attempt to play for a quick second the ads sounds stop my music or podcast that’s playing. It wasn’t always like this so I feel this is something the app developer can turn off. If I could play without the dang ad sounds coming on automatically - I would play for hours a day (I used to) which would probably generate more money for the developer instead of having the ad sounds bypass all my silent features I have on my phone. My average game lasts around 1 minute so that’s an ad every 60-90 seconds.

Latest changes are not appealing. I've had this game for years, but there is something in the most recent changes that is hurting my eyes, especially when looking through the deck... Also, the changes make it look and feel like every other solitaire game out there. I've kept this one for so long because it wasn't like the others... UPDATE Thankfully the deck flip that hurt my eyes seems to be fixed (or I got used to it). However, the game now takes an obnoxiously long time to load. In the past I could open it and play a game or two within just a few minutes. Now it takes that much time just to open. And once it opens I then have to wait longer for the deck to fully load. And sometimes I think it loaded, but nothing happens when I tap the cards, so I wait even longer until that first card moves. That’s when I know I can play... Unfortunately the look and feel of this game is still so much better than others out there that I feel stuck with it.

Ads on solitaire by Mobilityware.. There are several ads that pop up on this app that no matter what you do you are unable to close. Your only option is to close the app and reopen it. Opting out of these ads does you know good either. Is this their way of trying to get you to buy the premium, ad free version?? I have sound turned off on this app, however there are a few ads that play sound, even though sound is turned off. The game of thrones game app appears and starts blaring stupid music nonstop. Even after the ad ends or I close the advertisement, for the game, it continues to blare. It ruins my enjoyment of the game and I am ready to delete it from my phone and iPad. How does this advertisement bypass my settings and why can’t I turn it off? It’s the most annoying sound on any app I’ve heard. It’s right up there with the spam emails claiming hot women within 10 miles of you want to meet up for sex. Enough already turn off the sound and quit bypassing my settings. That alone gives this app half a star. Get rid of that and you’ve got a 5 star app.

Fun Addiction!. I have been playing this solitaire app for a few years now. I have had a smart phone since 2015, so that is probably how long I have been playing it. (I had one of the ‘bag’ phones in 1994! And have had a cell phone ever since.) I really, really enjoy it. I even paid to have the ads taken off and the price was not unreasonable at all. I think it’s a dollar a month or something like that. I have tried other solitaire apps but this is the cream of the crop as they say. It is very addicting at times so I have to pace myself. This is the only app among four that I keep on my iPhone and play each of them daily.I am a 79-year-old senior lady and I want to keep my brain sharp and these games help me do that. In fact I told one of my doctors this year that I play these games on the phone and he was happy to hear that. The phrase “use it or lose it” is not just a platitude it is a fact.I recommend this app to people of any age. It is never too late to try to strengthen your mind and body.

Pretty good, but it CAN be better, pretty easily too.. I’m alright with the advertisement culture on free games. I get that people gotta make their money to provide services. My issue is simple and could be fixed very simply: Do not stop my music from playing, to play the sounds of your ad. I pay for ad free music because I love music. I love listening to my favorite songs to fit the atmosphere I’m going for, and I love playing solitaire, I’ve gotten pretty good at it. But as soon as you cut off my music to hear your advert, that’s the easiest way to get your app closed and to stop using it for the while. Let me listen to my music. I’ll watch your ads, I understand it, but don’t go the extra mile and stop my music. It’s unnecessary. Do your thing and let me do mine. Make your money and let me do my thing. That’s all. I’ll give it an over half star rating, but this annoys me so much when it happens that I can’t click it higher. Maybe it’s not the dev’s fault. Maybe it’s just the advertisement software they use, but regardless, it still affects me enough that when I opened the App Store and saw my solitaire app, I felt like writing this

Love It and Hate It. Of all the solitaire games this has been by far my favorite. I only have 2 frustrations that I really wish they would look in to. 1) The ads - now I am not asking you to remove them. I get why they are there before the start of each game. But so many of them freeze in the middle or when you click the x that finally shows up. Then you have to leave the game and go back in. Frustrating. 2) The “3” day weekend event where if you win 15 hands you get a special card of a famous landmark. The problem, it says you get 3 days which would be 72 hours (usually starting on a Friday). I should be able to play 5 games per day. But you truly you don’t. Each time I play I start around 7am Friday and by 7am on Sunday the event is over - that is 2 days, 24 hours. I understand 72 hours would be Monday, but if it is 3 days to complete it should be Midnight Friday to 11:59 Sunday. I have lost so many events by 1 or 2 games because of this. Frustrating.

Just awful. Used to be a great go-to Solitaire game. The ads have ruined it. Evonne is one of the worst. It either crashes the game and you have to reload it, or you can watch the King get fried, frozen, drowned or drilled for at least 30 seconds for the 1000th time. You could try hitting the “x”, but half the time it’ll just open a link to the App Store. I guess the developers of that lame game believe they can trick you into downloading it. There are other bad ads, can’t identify them because you just get the black or white or blue screen of death, and yep, time to reload. Then when you actually have a game going, the lag can be over 10 seconds before the next card can be turned over. That’s absurd! It’s Solitaire for crying out loud, not a 3D hi-res action game. Just terrible how you’ve let this app deteriorate. My internet speed is 5 ghz so it’s not on my end. Other apps run just fine. And you can actually close their ads after 5 seconds. Your claim that you can do so used to be true, now it’s just laughable. Well, it’s free so I shouldn’t complain. I only do so because it used to be fun to play without all the aforementioned inconveniences. Sorry to have to delete this app after years of playing it.

Good, fun, love the customization, but BIG issues with energy. I don’t know why, but this app drains my phone (iPhone 6S Plus) battery like no other. It also causes my phone to overheat (I know, I tested it- I don’t have exact numbers on hand as I’m writing this, but it drops drastically in at least 5 minutes and starts to heat up almost immediately on start-up). I’m not sure why it drains the battery so bad and overheats my phone while my iPad 3 plays the app without the slightest problem... it doesn’t seem like an issue due to there not being enough space or memory (both of my devices have at least 15 GB free); this might just be a problem with the latest version then, considering the previous ones (at least as far as my iPad 3 could update) worked excellently. The app itself works fine and is rather fun, especially with the daily challenges and such, but the energy drainage and overheating makes it an issue for me. I do love the ability to customize as well as the challenges, so I’ll give this a 3.5/5; sorry, it is really fun for me and I do love this app, but it’s a no-go as far as keeping it on my phone. I’ll still play the version I have on my iPad, but, yeah, the overheating and battery killer is too much.

A couple things. The game is just okay. It’s like any other. I paid so I wouldn’t have to deal with ads. I like that I can play multiplayer. I love it in fact. I don’t like when the daily goals thingy pops up after you’ve played a game against someone else. It’s equivalent to an ad and takes forever to get off the screen so I can play the next game. I don’t care about the daily goals, at all. Im there to play and thats it. My app keeps freezing. And if I close out, then go back in later, it freezes on me. Then I have to refresh my phone, re-open app, then it works. I also don’t care for, when you win a game, you have to wait to watch all of your cards go up to the aces, one by one. It takes too long. If we win, just let the next game start. It would be nice if we could play against multiple people at once. Not just one other person. Also, it would be nice if we were put against people of the same skill level. There is no challenge when Im playing against someone who doesn’t challenge me against time. Ill have turned 130 cards and won the game in 1.30 of a minute, against someone who only turned 46-60 cards, No challenge there. I do like when I see that I’ve played against someone before. I recognize their screen name. There should be more of that. It makes it funner.

Since the update.... IN RESPONSE TO DEVELOPER: No, I have never had any other version of this App. The exact same no matter which device I have had (every single version of the iPhone except 5s). I go to "Purchased," scroll down to the very bottom, and there is the App. Never once have I ever noticed ads. If there were ads, it was out of the way. NOW they are FULL SCREEN and cannot be skipped. The first time it happened (after the update on my new iPad Pro 12.9) there was a streaming issue (I guess) because there was nothing except a never ending circle. I had to hard shut off the iPad to close it. Regardless, because of this (and that this has never once happened since the iPhone 3G) I have deleted the App and will not reinstall until this is fixed. I was with you guys since the very beginning, so this has been very disappointing for me. This was one of the few Apps that I first downloaded that are still around and still works (at least it DID work). No more. Unbelievable. I’ve had this App since the beginning, since the iPhone 3G, and it has ALWAYS been my go too App for passing the time. No more. Every update has been great, with many good and new features that has made this App stand the test of time. Now, though, the moment I start a new game, FULL SCREEN ADDS! Such a disappointment. Years and years of loyalty down the drain. DELETED...

My game is frozen. So I’ve had this game for a week or two now, and at first I had no problem with it. I love the customization options, and the layout of the game makes it easy to learn/play. However, recently there has been major lag and even cases of the game completely freezing on me while I’m playing. I have this app on both my phone and my Ipad (both experience the lag but only the Ipad has frozen completely on me now). In the last few days it has happened, I’ve simply been able to close the app completely and restart it to fix the problem, but now every time I open it the game is just frozen. No matter how many times I close it and reopen it, I cannot click a single thing. I even tried restarting my Ipad in the hopes that this would fix the problem and it hasn’t. This makes me really sad because I love to play it on the bigger screen, and I’m actually worried that the app on my phone is going to start doing the same thing with how much it has been lagging lately. For the moment, I don’t plan on getting rid of the app, but if this doesn’t get fixed (or at the very least looked into) I’m going to just delete the app altogether from both of my devices.

Something seems off. I used to play solitaire multiplayer and you could voice chat with your opponent if you both wanted to. The queue times were long though. Now the queuing is instant as far as I can tell and you can’t talk to the opponent. I’ve put down my phone and came back to it later and started new games vs the same player I had been playing. I think these games aren’t live and are somehow stored to reduce queue times. I can’t imagine someone would sit and wait hours for an opponent to return to a game of solitaire. I’ve also noticed that sometimes the deals I get are not winnable. My opponent can sometimes win very quickly, but I will replay the deal and there is no way to win at all. I’ve done this several times to check. I know it’s just a game of solitaire, but something is fishy about the way it works now. Queue times are short, but I don’t think you are actually playing vs an opponent in real time. Not much point in multiplayer if it’s a sham. I wouldn’t buy it if I were you.

Used to love it. But just don’t bother.. I played this game every day. Did all the daily challenges and more. But recently I have been having so many issues I am going to have to delete it and find another solitaire game. I can not count the years I have played this app and will sadly lose all my achievements. But constantly and now more frequently during an actual game it jumps out an add on safari and when I deleted the browser to go back to play my game it then clicks me to an add and I have to watch it just to continue my game. And the clock keeps going as I’m stuck no being able to play. And happens a few time during one game and it’s absolutely ridiculous. I handle all the adds increasing when you pause the game and after every game which has been annoying but to stop me in the middle of my game is my last straw. I thought it was just a freak accident the first few times but I just can’t any more. She frequently added pop ups in the middle are no fun so I will have to say good bye. Find another game that you will actually enjoy and not constantly be interrupted in the middle of your game.

Very enjoyable 🙂. Just like regular solitaire but without all the shuffling. I play on my phone, and the cards are clearly visible. I like auto complete. What I like best is that I can play while waiting for an appointment, and turn off my phone when I go in, without losing my game or starting over. Makes periods of waiting bearable, without getting aggravated! Also, once in a while, you run across a spot in your game that might have two choices. If you don't win with your first choice, you have the option to replay the game. Sometimes I will play the same game 4-6 times before I win or run out of options. If you place your cards at a steady pace, it can also be fun to play at a faster pace to challenge yourself. I have several games on my phone, and this is the only one I ever play. The only negative is that some ads come on at a high volume which isn't good if your playing where people are waiting or asleep. I mute and quickly close those, which means even if I would have liked to see the ad, I would just pass it over.

Scam for Ads, Poor Scoring System. I used a different app for Solitaire before. I couldn’t find it when upgrading phones so I downloaded this app. Point? It’s not my first time playing Solitaire. I find this app frustrating. It appears to be geared to make the user fail early so that the user can start a new game earlier…..thereby watching more ads. The scoring…..a terrible mess. On the game screen there’s a tally of your score in the hundreds. When a game is completed, a new screen pops up with game stats. That new screen has a different scoring system due to some weird multiplication making the score in the thousands. Low thousands. It compares your score to some score in…..I have no idea where or why….but this benchmark score is close to 30,000. Did I ask for this benchmark? No. The old app compared my score to the best score of the day by me or who ever used my phone to play the game that day. It is no fun for me to play against someone who I don’t know. Plus, I’d like to remember my score. Due to the change from hundreds to thousands, I can’t make heads or tails of it so I can’t keep track of my score. I want to beat myself, not some mystery person on the internet. My only choice is to delete this app and try another app which I will probably do.

Love this game. I would like to say that this game is amazing!! When i got i wasnt sure but now i realise that it is amazing. It is perfect for sitting on tue couch watching tv because you can watch and play at the same time without missing anything fun on your show. I love the card animstoins they usually make my day when i see the card doing the macarana. Although all if these good things there are some down sides. I dont like that after everygame you have to watch and ad, it would be nice if it was like evey 2 or 3 games. Another thi g that bugs me is with the daily fame it always interiors me in the middle of a game trying to get me to play the daily game i would definitely fix that. Anyways long story short this is a great game and i would definitely recomend it to anyone looking at this review. Thank you for reading this ad i would appreciate if you cold get back to me. Thank you for this wonderful game -solitare girl

Good - just expect a lot of ads. This Solitaire game has been around since my very first iPhone. MobilityWare has been in this realm a long time, so their apps are very very good. Gameplay is smooth and has many customizable settings and options. My only complaint (albeit a small one) is the way these ad-supported games work. They just blast you with ads. Game completion, game restart, new game, etc....all trigger ads. I understand the model they have to work from to generate revenue, but it seems like there could be fewer and still show the appropriate number of ads to generate income from users. The problem is with so many options to pick from, and Solitaire being a game that's identical from one developer to another, is that the next game that has less or no ads will be the one people move to. That said, hopefully MW can tone it down some and make the overall gameplay experience less interrupted and distracting ....it's an otherwise great execution to a fun game.

Please, make it simple again. I cannot understand why everything has to change when you had a perfectly functional game. This game was perfect before adding all this hype and extra animation junk. Nearly every time I open a new game now, daily challenge or not, the app locks up right after the deal, forcing me to restart. Not only that, but there is lag... LAG, in solitaire. How is this even possible? I’ve owned this game for years and years. It is terribly frustrating to consider deleting it for who knows what other junk might be out there. Please fix this. Just take it back to being simple. No one cares about all this extra stuff that has zero to do with what is supposed to be, a simple card game. If I want flashy, sparkles and whimsical animations, I’m sure there’s a million other games on the market to fill that void. Please fix the lag and the lockup’s. I don’t want to spend hours and hours trying a bunch of other apps to simply find one as good as this one used to be.

Solitaire. The game still has way too many ads. They pop up after every game. Sometimes it is not easy to close the ad to get back to the game. You “X” out of the ad, but you have to hit “X” a second time in a different location on the screen. Some ads highjack your game. They just start playing a commercial in the middle of the game. You’ve also changed the way you close a game. Instead of an “x”, sometimes there is a double “>”. I had to figure that out. Some of the ads are offensive. They are misogynistic or just crude. For example there is one where a pregnant woman is standing outside a window in the rain, watching my her partner rub on some other woman’s leg. There are other ads where a frumpy woman is pondering what to do so some man will be attracted to her. These are things that I don’t want to see. They are offensive and detract from the game. There should also be a way to opt out of things like the special events. For me, they just slow down the game.

Ads and Freezing. The ads constantly repeat themselves which is unbelievably annoying. Its always an ad for the same thing and then on top of that some ads are much too long, unstoppable, and dont close properly. the last issue bothers me the most because i have to close the whole game to get rid of the ad. the game also freezes during gameplay which isnt as bad but is still inconvenient and very annoying and makes the game not even worth it to play. UPDATE: I see you accepted a greater variety of ads but neglected to remove ones that are FAR too long and unskippable (the subway ad in particular). you have also made the advertising for your no ad version of this game more annoying and consistent. you have blasted ads and then keep shoving the “no ad” option in out faces, and thats pretty scummy. you seem to have only taken suggestions that lead to you getting more money, even if it makes game play less enjoyable for us. UPDATE PT2: I greatly appreciate the fact that you actually read my complaints and wrote me a response. It shows you care as much as I do, which is really cool.

Events. I was thrilled when the events started because it gave me some more things to be challenged on. However, on this event currently running, I have realized you can only play 7 games a day, and must either wait until the next day or play an ad. Why did this start? I understand having an ad before a new game starts in the event, but now to finish it when you want to, you have to play an ad. And if you forget to play one day, then you can’t finish it without the ads. I understand it’s free so you have to run ads, but I quit playing a lot of games because I either ran out of lives and had to ask friends or run an ad to get just a little bit more. I love this game but I don’t know why this stared only letting you play 7 games in an event in a day. I like to finish it when I have time and sometimes that’s in one day. I play the game every day for the daily challenges.

Ads are incredibly misogynistic and Mobilityware doesn’t care. I’ve had this app for about 2 months and I noticed pretty quickly that I kept seeing ads for other “games” that were outrageously misogynistic. They often depicted women as big breasted caricatures whose bodies were being threatened by animals (a dog attack, an elephant that also was supposed to be in love with her, a swarm of bees), or by other men (a large man reaching out for her with a hungry expression while she tried to get away). In all these “games,” there was always a man there to save her, after which she rewarded him with cartoon love eyes. They also advertise “games” where two cartoon women are staring lustily into each other’s eyes and the player can choose whether they kiss or one pulls the other into the pool. I know it’s a well established and justified stereotype that straight men think all women, including lesbians, only exist on this earth to arouse them, but maybe we don’t need to feed into that delusion on an app for solitaire that claims it’s suitable for children. I’ve reached out several times to the app and the response has been complete disinterest in actually trying to stop this. I’ve deleted the app and I know this will most likely go unnoticed by most, but maybe some parents will see it and move on to another app before they okay it for their children’s’ devices.

Bugs in most ads. I like this game very much however there seems to be a bug with the ads. Every 5-6 plays of the game an ad will come and when you try to x out of it I just goes to black and stays there. This happens very frequently. I have to leave the game for a good long time and come back later and hope it clears, or restart my iPad which is an annoyance. I searched all over the app description in the App Store but see no way to report problems privately so I’m forced to write a public comment about this bug. The other problem with the ads on these games is that you have to hit the x in a very precise way or it takes you to the next step for whatever it’s advertising and you have to hit “done” to get back to the page with the x for exiting the ad. However this repeats over and over until you find the sweet spot of the x. This happens in the vast majority of the ads. That is extremely annoying and often makes me just quit the game. The third problem with the ads is that this app allows some advertisers to place the x over a black background so you see no way to exit the ad. I finally figured that out - so you just tap around in the black until you end up hitting where the x is. If not for these ad glitches I would give it a higher rating.

Ads high jack my phone. Update: I expressed my complaints (in a rude manner I admit) and the developer contacted me promptly and in a very kind manner. I have not yet been able to show them the ads that have been inconvenient for me, but they have been very gracious to give me a way to contact them and stop the issue. I appreciate this. I have used this app for YEARS. I don’t pay the subscription, I have never minded the ads until now. Even when I have my volume on silent (and yes, I have double checked to see if I had it on by accident, I don’t) and an ad will take over with sound and everything, my husband wakes up with a start if I’m playing to relax before I got to bed myself. My husband works hard. He deserves to sleep. And some ads won’t even let me dismiss them I have to restart the whole app just to keep playing. I understand that paying the subscription will remove the ads, but I don’t appreciate feeling strong armed into it by allowing the ads to completely take over my phone. It’s greedy. It’s also been glitching and the cards get stuck mid shuffle.

The Good & Bad. I have been enjoying playing this version of Solitaire for many years. I really like the way the game has evolved each year and enjoy earning badges and trophies. Due to insomnia, I will often play to help me get tired enough to be able to go back to sleep. Since my husband has to get up early for work and likes me close to him when he’s sleeping I have always played with sound turned off in both the app and on my device. This has never been a problem until recently. While I don’t mind the ads that pop up, I am having difficulty with a new ad for Angry Birds. Even though my sound is off, this ad plays VERY LOUD OBNOXIOUS MUSIC and I can’t get it to shut off. I can no longer trust that I can play silently and not wake up my husband, which means I can’t play this game when he’s sleeping. This is extremely frustrating to me. Please don’t tell me to pay for something I have enjoyed for many years just to delete the ads. Won’t be doing that.

Amazing! Just 2 flaws.. Solitaire is a interesting and fun way of playing cards. The animations when you win are my fav 🥰 But, like in most games, there are some flaws. 1.Most deals don't win. I don’t know if this is a problem with the game, or my bad decisions, but most deals I find unplayable. It’s quite annoying and frustrating when I get so far in a deal, just to find out there’s no more moves. I don’t know if the devs can fix that, or if I can change my ways, but I just wanted to point that out. 2.Ads. Speaking of unplayable deals, there’s ads. There’s not a lot of ads in playable deals, but every time I click “New Deal” I get an ad. The only reason I’m saying this, is because I, personally, get a LOT of bad deals. Once it happened at least 7 or 6 times in a row! Like I said before, I am unaware if that’s just a problem with the game, or a “me” problem, but if you can fix these things, I would appreciate the work. 😊 Thanks for reading this!👍 (just an edit... i would buy the “NO Ads” but i dislike spending my money on games instead of necessities.)

Good game - bad ads. I have used this app for years now - good quality and nice customization options. The ads on the other hand are awful. The app professes that it shouldn’t take more than five seconds to get past an ad before being presented with a game. Sometimes it’s true. Occasionally it’s just clicking on an X right away. Several times a year, the ads start getting obnoxious. Sometimes you get past the ad in five seconds only to have to go through two or three more screens, also timed for five seconds or more. Some ads provide no way to exit at all, and you have to shut the app down and go back in to start the game (this bypasses the ad, fortunately). If it’s just an X, even if I have to wait a few seconds, that’s fine. I’ll never respond to any of them anyway, so it’s kind of pointless, but I understand. If I have to jump through multiple hoops to get past them, it’s worthy of knocking a couple of stars off my rating for what would otherwise be a five-star experience. Seriously, guys. If I’m not interested in an ad the first time (or ten) that I see it, I’m definitely not going to be interested the next 2,356 times you show it to me!

Upgraded to crap.. I've played this for years and have the free version. In the beginning the "Welcome Back to the Game Center" banner was translucent and you could see through it and play through it. Then when Apple turned their look from classic to cartoon the banner got cheap and overs the game while the clock keeps running. The advertisements for the most part follow the rules of etiquette and behave. Sadly some act like Microsoft and Windows 10, the STD of software. The X to close it launches it. Some continue to play the audio long after the video is gone and the game is playing. A few just won't die and a close is the only fix. The real draw back to the free version is it can eat a battery due to all the data traffic for the adds. This can eat you phone bill too. The latest software has epilepsy. Cards strobe and change direction. Takes forever to boot. The real question is why did they try to make solitaire exciting? Still don’t see the time and battery wasting value to earn fancy monikers with one more screen before a new hand.

App ads. Frustrated. When the app ads changed it made it hard to touch the x to go back to the game. But, two days ago there is one app I cannot get it to close out. It keeps coming up on the screen as I am trying to play the game. It just happened three times and it didn’t want to leave the page. This is a problem that needs to be fixed. Response to developer I do press the X but there are a few ads won’t work no matter how many times I touch the X. This has happened on both my iPad and iPhone. In order to get out of the ad I have to go out of the game and stop the play in the background. This started happening about two years ago. I have been playing this game since 2011 so I just want to let you know that to X out some of these ads it is not working. Mobility Ware is the only apps that this happens. Just someone is having problems doesn’t mean they don’t know what they are doing. I went fb to complain about another developer and after receiving more than 18 complaints of others that were having the same problems, they started listening to the complaints a fixed it in about one day. They wanted to blame the problem as it was our end and our fault. I don’t know how many people have complained to you about the ads that won’t X out and just keeps running.

Fine game. This has become addicting. I play everyday and sometimes more than once. I am finally close to solving an entire month worth on dailies and I am stoked about that. June 2017 Update: still addicted. I have solved a full month now twice and felt so satisfied about it. Still play multiple times a day as a quick time killer. Plays well as a simple Solitaire game should. Nothing fancy. I do kind of wonder though about the fastest times set. In many cases it looks like those times would have to be set by a bot because a human couldn't make 100+ moves 20 something seconds. I don't think anyone could be that flawless. Nevertheless I still love the game. Sept 2021 Update: I may have to quit playing this game. After over 5 years of playing, and reaching level 569, the game has become unplayable. I have tried a dozen times today to play any game and every time it simply closes. No Daily Challenge, no New Deal, nothing. I suspect that somewhere along the line in your game updates, my older iPad is no longer supported. I am running the latest version it supports, which is 10.3.3, and it just won't stay open. I will try for a few more days, then I will have to find another Solitaire game to play. Mobilityware , are you listening?

An okay but completely ad-ridden Solitaire.. The app itself is a fine Solitaire app (as is their Mahjong app), but unless you’re willing to pay for a monthly subscription, every game is prefaced by an ad that more often than not will forcibly take over your audio. If you happen to play these games while listening to something else, or have something more important controlling audio, expect to completely lose control of your audio while an ad plays and have to manually restart or rejoin. I get it, capitalism and the like, but it’s beyond frustrating to be served ads that mean nothing to me that completely stop whatever I have chosen to or need to listen to for up to 60 seconds for some completely worthless advertisement. If Mobility Ware has no control over whether or not ads can demand priority to audio (which seems unlikely), then please pass along at least that any company that does so immediately goes on my blacklist and is the reason why I will be deleting the app, despite otherwise enjoying it and the events challenges.

Changes are terrible...but (update). UPDATE! The new changes are frustrating. I deleted this app and went in search of another. Tried several. Nothing. Not a single one even came close to this app. The features and customizable settings set this app a part from all others by far. I’ll just have to live with the terrible changes. This new layout has been out for several months now. I wanted to give it a real shot before writing a review. I HATE it. Where to start? The new Daily Challenge calendar is hard to see the crowns with or without jewels. The stupid bar at the bottom showing progress to the next ugly trophy is just a waste of time and is just another thing between seeing my stats for that deal. The level ups is fine but again another thing between me and the stats. If I miss a day on the daily challenge, there is no easy way to get to it if I view my stats from the game I just played. If I view the stats, I have to go to menu then wait for the calendar to load and then I get an ad to finally play the next game. It’s TOO much. That was my favorite part of this app before the whole revamp, it was simple. I can play my game without all the other hype. I’m seriously considering deleting this app for one of the hundreds of other solitaire apps. I’m so disappointed. I play this game daily and usually multiple times a day, but not anymore. Don't get me wrong, it needed updates, but not a complete revamp with unnecessary features.

Out-of-Control Potato Ads. Look, I understand ads. The ads are generally pretty tolerable. However, in my recent playing, I have encountered an immense amount of potato ads, and usually I can handle the occasional Idahoan ad between deals; however I am getting an ungodly amount of Idahoan potato ad popups during my rounds. I stack two cards, and lieu and behold, I am presented with an intolerable potato ad. It is ruining my scores. I want to break my own personal record, but alas, I am rudely interrupted with yet another Idahoan potato ad. I don’t even like potatoes that much. Potatoes are aggressively average. Ask me 24 hours ago and I would’ve given this game a 5-star review. I enjoy the quality of play and the daily challenges - I just simply cannot tolerate the potato ads anymore. I an 16 years old. I don’t need to see potato ads. My mother is the one who goes to the grocery store. Potatoes don’t matter to me. Please fix this so that I can continue to fuel my solitaire addiction free of Idahoan potato ads🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

Addictive!. I’ve been playing this version of Solitaire for several years. I play it at least once a day so I can stay current on the daily challenge. I’ve always loved solitaire and this version is great to play whenever you have only a few minutes wait time anywhere. I like the “show me how to win” feature should I get stuck since all games are supposed to be winnable, which I love. Why would anyone want to play an unwinnable game?? I like that there are different card back options for a little change now and then. One thing that can frustrate, however, is when the “show me how to win” shows that you must skip valid plays. How would you ever know that you need to skip a play in order to win?? But that doesn’t happen too often. The other thing that is a bit frustrating, but almost all games have this problem, is that the high scorers on each hand are from players who have computerized the play. No one can play a hand of solitaire in 30 seconds or less. But I don’t know if there’s much the game support folks can do about these smart aleks that computerize game play for fun. So this isn’t a game you can try to get the high score on! But that isn’t what I’m going for. I enjoy it and it does what I need!

Addicting Solitaire!!!. I love this app for Solitaire! I have tried other apps but this one is my favorite by far. The automatic movement of a card for placing it to the Aces and also the board by just tapping it is a great feature! Other apps that I've tried make you hold onto the card and manually move it to the place you want. Some other apps are hard to see on an iPhone because the cards are too small. I like that you can change the card faces and backs because you can choose one that's easier to see. Also, changing the background boards makes it more interesting. Right now I am using the autumn scene, it's a nice change for the season. It's awesome how you can use your own picture from your phone to customize the card backs! Being able to choose between random and winning deals is a nice feature also, and the choice to replay the same game is great to see if you can win the second time! When I get stuck and think I should be able to play a card, the "Hint" button is available to use. I like the option that you can choose how many cards you want to flip and also the sounds. Being able to see your progress and trying to get a better score makes it more challenging. I like that. I highly recommend this app for anyone who likes to play Solitaire!!!

Great solitaire but deleting because of ads!. I am all for ads. I don’t mind paying for a game that I enjoy as much as I do this version of solitaire. But you have to pay $10/yr to remove ads. One time yes but no game us worth paying for, that has my info and can keep renewing as it will. I loved this version. Best out there! It was fine when it had ads before. They were short and sparse and you could click out. Now after it takes a while to play, you have to keep clicking out at least three or four screens to close the ads. You cannot just hit the nice little X. Oh no. It will keep popping back to the ad and on the third try it will close. I have a stressful job. This game brought me down from that in the evening. Not any more. Not worth the added stress and irritation. One time ad fee sure, but no way on a renewing one. Sorry developers, it was a bad choice based on all the other recent reviews you had. Look how great the reviews were in the beginning. Mine was one of them before. You have a great game, don’t ruin it!

Maybe they are listening ... still has flaws and frustartions though. I previously complained about frequency and inappropriateness of the number of flashing ads. That seems better in the past week. One ad before a new deal is tolerable. Focusing on game play, three flaws. It will default to move cards onto the four stacks, even if you want it on the table in a series to make your next move. It will also default to pull cards of the table onto the piles automatically, even if you will need them later ... so then you may miss move options, unless you bring them back down. When decks are unwinnable, try hint in case you missed something; it will force you to cycle through the entire left over deck again, card by card as a hint, and once you did all that ... oh sorry, no more moves. There does not seem to be a replay same deck option, in case you wanted to try again, figuring you missed something. As far as scores, somebody having a best score of 30 secs is just ridiculous. Stop bothering me with that crap. A person has to be lucky with the cards to finish in two minutes. 30 secs ... I don't think so.

Great game! How about...?. I love playing the Daily Challenge, and really appreciate being able to go back more than one month sometimes to have another crack at a Daily Challenge that has been too challenging. It was especially good at the end of 2018 when I was finally able, on the last day of the year, to solve the last of the difficult ones from January and February 2018. They had eluded me all year. Can I suggest that for those of us who are motivated by external meaningless rewards, it would be great if there was a special trophy at the end of the year for people who have earned all twelve gold trophies during that year. For me, achieving that was quite an effort, and I would love to get a special recognition in my trophy cabinet. Just my thoughts.

English, please.. I have enjoyed playing Solitaire - despite the many dead rubbers - until the last couple of days. Even though I am in Australia, advertisements have started popping up in Chinese. As there is no obvious X to close the ad, it means I am having to constantly shut down the ap to avoid following a link to an unknown source. I understand Australia’s Chinese population is significant, but please have a version in Mandarin and keep the English version in English. Otherwise, I will have to delete this application. ☹️

Was good until data collection mandatory.... I really loved this game but on one of the recent updates it’s asking for permission to collect data and personalize ads. I appreciate being asked but unfortunately if you decline you can’t play the game anymore - it just circles back to the original data collection info!

Solitaire. I have been playing since my Mum taught me Patience when I had a very serious bone disease and 6 months in total bed rest. I am now 83 and loving playing that game now called Solitaire. One of the main advantages now is no pack of cards to sort, shuffle, lay out, deal, and think carefully as playing the game. Now all done for me and it has been a lifesaver for me during COVID and now while waiting for a knee replacement. Thanks a million!!! Meryl. Sydney

A real dissappointment. I have played this for a long time now but - no surprises what I am going to say Ads ....🙄🤑 what an insult to all your regular users ... at night they hurt my eyes - I now actually avert my eyes, cover up the ad with my hand and wait until the cross appears - I refuse to even look at what is being advertised and have to be honest I will try and find something else to play ... very dissappointing and a real shame as this used to be a restful app - now it is stressfull ..

Review on Patience. I really only play it on the way home on the train to wind down from work. Also no one talks to anyone anymore and it beats sitting and staring at all the heads looking down at their phones . Because I am usually tired when coming home it also keeps me awake. I am 75 years of age and still work full time. I realise it is also good for the brain.

The Multiplayer mode is completely fake. If you start a multiplayer game against an opponent and disconnect your device completely from the internet (turn off wifi and mobile data) the “opponent” is still connected to the game and keeps playing, which is impossible unless the opponent is not actually another person from somewhere else in the world and is an app generated player. They didn’t develop a multiplayer platform they just deceived us into believing it was there! HUGE HOAX!!! Shame on you Mobilityware. 1 star because I can’t score negative stars!

Solitaire Game. Have loved Mobility games for such a long time…but now have new iPad and standard has gone down, slower and un wanted sounds,eg. music and clicks with each move. An adage saying is ‘if it ain’t broke, leave it alone.’ Now have to check all other favourite Mobility games to see if still disappointed. P.S. Thankyou for all the years of using Mobilty Games. I will keep the old I pad.

Suggestions. It would be great if there was an option where a game could indicate that the move just made was suboptimal and indicate what would be a better move as a way if training users I would like to see another category of achievement showing a user that they have joined the 1,000 point club or the 5,000 point club Cheers

Freezes or Crashes. Each update gets clunkier. App itself takes a long time to launch. If the phone locks/sleeps while waiting too long you then have to start the launch process and wait again. Dealing a new hand always freezes the app and you have to wait for up to a minute or more. Sometimes completely crashes in the middle of the game so you have to relaunch app and start the same hand from the start again. I only play on airplane mode while travelling as a way to chill out and keep busy, but it has definitely tested my patience lately and become very frustrating.

Iphone 7 Plus solitaire issue. Hi there, every time I open the solitaire game Itunes music stops playing so I am either listening to music or play solitaire at the time and can not have both And every time I turn on my music, the game gets frozen for about 1 or 2 mins before I am able to play again. Could you please look into this when you have a chance? Thank you Hi there, I am sorry to say this but solitaire is way below standard these days. The game takes a minute or two to load every new game and it doesn’t like when I load a new game before the end of the current game. Something is seriously wrong here.

Was good - now continual adds that last for over 25 seconds!. What was once a reasonable game with an ad system that gave you 3 to 5 seconds of ads then got on with the game, now has ads that run for more than 25 Seconds. The worst ones show a game with a player dying in different gross scenarios. When the ad ends you would think that hitting the x would be the end of it, but no, some take 4 and 5 times to hit done or x to get back to the game. Watching ads is not a bad way to see what’s available, however this is ridiculous and in fact ensures you would never look at what is being shoved in your face because it undoubtedly will be more of the same from that product or program.

You have to do it on the ipad. To get a high score; the highest on this is like late 30s, early 40s. On the ipad version they apparently have some new wiz feature that lets one finish extra quickly and the cards move quicker! But I didn’t buy to play on my ipad! I wanted on my phone for ease of use! As such I feel depressed and disheartened that the phone version doesn’t much allow completion in under 30 secs. And one apparently can’t compete with an under 30, early 30 score.

Win loss ratio slider is broken. I’ve enjoyed the game and I think it’s really well done. But when I set my win/loss ratio slider to 100%, I get losing streaks that last around 5 games. It’s not like I’m playing the game wrong because sometimes even after a couple moves, it says there are no more possible moves. If it’s a glitch then I think it needs to be patched, but if I’m doing something wrong - there’s surely others having this issue.

Advertising is rediculous. I’ve had this app for years, but will be deleting today. The adds are getting longer, many won’t let you shut them until you click on it to take you to another screen, sometimes you have to shut the whole game down and reopen. More recently I’ve been bombarded with gardenscapes advertising which has been deemed as false advertising, I’ve sent complaints and still being bombarded. Playing this game is now just annoying and have found add free versions of the same game for $0.

Game Lover. I've been playing Solitaire for a very long time, have put up with the very annoying ads knowing that I can cancel them without too much trouble however the recent spate of 'Gumtree' ads has totally ruined the game. There are many times when I can't cancel Gumtree ads and back out completely MANY times and restart without success. This is totally unacceptable and leads me to not only NEVER consider using Gumtree bit also encourages me to look for a different Solitaire App. Get rid of the incessant Gumtree ads or Solitaire will go.

Game locked out. The game has locked up so it doesn’t start up anymore - is this something to do with the demand that I allow the game full access to my phone and. websites I visit which I declined for privacy reasons - I appreciate your desire to improve your marketing income but stopping all mobility ware games working is a bit much - seriously? Looking at other developers for similar games now till you remove the lockout - fire whoever put the lockdown in your software as you lost a loyal player - one star is too generous

Audible Ads ☹️😡 !!. The game is good, the lay-out is attractive, the result-reaction is fun - but the audible advertisements are appalling. If one is listening to music whilst playing, the advertisement sound track either drowns the music out or stops it completely. Even without any music playing, the intrusion of the advertising noise is unacceptable - especially if one is in a train or a plane. It is very tempting to delete the app.

Good brain exercise to pass the time.. I picked up this app to give me something to do whilst on public transport. While the ads in-between deals aren’t great that is the price of free software. Could this app be without ads entirely? Yes. If that was the case i’d give it 5 stars. Its responsive. I’ve never experienced lag or framerate drops. The level of customisation is nice, you can make your phone feel like the green velvet of a card table, or the polished wood of a coffee table you might have at home. The different card faces help people with varying levels of vision and the sound design is crisp and satisfying. Aside from ads the only complaint i have is that the settings menu feels incomplete. I think that could go through some updating to make it look, and feel nicer. Fun little app to play in those gaps between trains.

Overwhelming adverts!. Solitaire is a good game, but when the adverts come on you cannot get rid of them even when they finish they stay there. This spoils the enjoyment of the game, knowing the adverts are scamming the users of the game by pushing the ads down our throats with us having no way to get rid of them. I click on “see more” and then straight away delete them from where they appear and it goes back to the game. This way I am NOT even remembering who the ads are for. Doing this defeats the purpose of having to see the never ending ads in the first place.

My daily challenge.. Solitaire provides for me, the opportunity to keep my brain exercised every day. It allows me to remain mentally alert. This I believe is of great assistance on a daily basis. I will be 86 years old this year, work full time, and run a medium sized business with 35 employees. No small task, so it is essential to remain alert at all times. I believe that the daily challenge of Solitaire, supplies the stimulus necessary to meet my daily goals. I recommend Solitare often to people who ask me my secret. You should try it too. ALAN Hall

Great App Support -. Not only are Mobility games fun and good but their support team are too. Instant response to connection issue had a tech response with good advice and interest to ensure connection returned. Follow up after fix was above and beyond. Thank you all at Mobilityware. Best decision is buy to get rid of the ads fro other games. The ads for other games spoil the experience of the game being played. Not expensive and well worth the cost

Suddenly gone really glitchy. The game used to work well but just lately it’s been freezing and crashing all the time. When I start a game it hangs for ages waiting for the last card to be dealt, & often in the middle of a game the whole thing shuts down for no reason. Very frustrating! (PS I still find the daily challenges pretty pointless & gimmicky. Wish I could completely turn them off.) The problem seems to be related to playing the game when there’s no wifi or mobile data available. When I have wifi it’s way faster & no crashes.

Great app BUT .... Since new update it’s very glitchy. Cards seems to vibrate and shake as they travel from deck to stack. It’s no longer smooth. App crashes. Hardly any wins any more. Growing bored now. And video ads drive me crazy! They are so slow and take so long before you can click away from them. And there are ads that are so hard to click on to close. I understand free games have ads, that's fine, but do they have to take so long. The ads leave me annoyed ...is that seriously the effect the advertiser wants ?

Love it but the ads!. I have been playing this version of Solitaire for many years and I play most mornings, doing the Daily Challenge. I also play about 8 or 9 other games you put out, all of which I enjoy! However, the only downfall for me is the ads. Not so much the quantity, and not that I am against the developers getting paid. It is just the quality of how the ads are delivered! Ads will stop the music or radio I am listening to or will not close when the button is pressed. This reason alone will force me to look for another Solitaire app! One other point I would like to make is that YOUR ads on other apps are very bad offenders of the above. Very loud and stopping what I am trying to listen to.

This Game Ruined My Life.. After I installed this game I became quickly addicted. I reckon personally I have over 6500 hours in Solitaire. My wife and I are avid gamers on our family tablet. And our two kids are too old to play with it now. My wife recently noticed an increase in time I spent on the family tablet (samsung) (i have an orange case) She noticed this increase in playtime approximately 8 months ago. Since then we have filed for divorce, and she wants to take up to 50% of what I had because we were together for 45 years. She additionally has asked to take my dog that I have had for 9 years named Ohio. Please take from my review to NOT install this game. Heed my warning! It will ruin you. Epa.

Constant frustration!!. I really really enjoy playing the basic Solitaire game as it gives me mental wellness away from the problems of everyday life. But at the moment I have to keep turning my iPad off then back on due to one particular ad that will just freeze & not count down or give the “X” to get back to the game. I understand the need for ads & that I could pay to have no ads (not a feasible option atm), but this issue is increasingly making me become very frustrated. Can whoever makes this ad please fix the problem?

Very hard. I have been play solitaire since my grand parents taught me with cards over 50 years ago. I have also played for years on apps - I have to say this game is very hard and frustrating. I feel that maybe you could have levels so customers can decide how difficult they want to play.

New features. I deleted my old game which I had loved playing for years. It kept freezing, making each game time annoying and time consuming. I’ve downloaded the newest version, hoping to renew the great game I am use to playing, only to find it has been ‘dumbed down’! The moves are now done for me! Why on earth would I want to watch while the card moves are not my choice? ! Please, eliminate this so called improvement, if I didn’t want to make my own choices I wouldn’t bother to play the game at all.

Solitaire. An extremely clever game. The only problem I have with it is that as you advance the games get tougher and tougher and it would be enjoyable to have the occasional easy game. Someone else wrote this. However it is very true. I would add that sometimes I would like an easy game where I can flip through it without having to think.

The worst kind of ads. The game itself is fine. The classic solitaire experience. The ads however the the most obnoxious kind. I understand that ads are necessary to fund a free game, but do they have to be so awful? To be honest, when an add annoys me this much I’ll make a point to never use what ever is being advertised. They are bright and flashing in stark contrast to a relaxing game of solitaire. The worst part however is the sound. I’d love to play while I nurse my baby in the middle of the night but loud music suddenly plays without warning even if my phone is on mute. I’ve had enough and won’t be playing any more.

I like it.. I do, I’ve been playing solitaire for years and years, originally with cards when I was young. It’s always been a frustrating game, but that’s it’s fun. You don’t know if your card will turn up, sometimes you get out- sometimes you don’t. I find this game is no different from the older versions, but I don’t particularly play to gain points - for me it’s a great way to spend time if you’re waiting on something/one. In other words,a perfect time waster, and if I’m on wifi I can spend a very long time playing. I find I get it out more often than not and I like the way I can personalise the cards, the only negative I can find is the annoying way I am constantly bombarded with the choice of playing other games before EVERY new game. I guess it’s just what you have to put up with on a free game !! I am happy with this game. jane_5

Keeps freezing. I like the game, as a game addict it helps me stop after one win because I don't want to see the ad. But about once a month the game freezes and I can't move cards, though I'm using moves every time I touch the screen. Then it starts shifting cards all over the screen. The only way is to delete the app and re download as closing the app and restarting reloads the frozen game. Please fix this glitch.

Good game. This game is actually pretty good I really like the sound and visuals. The only thing that annoys me is that if you have a non-playable game and ask for a hint it tells you to either draw a card, ‘recycle’ the pick up deck, some other stupid thing that never works. I don’t know if I’m just complaining but it’s pretty annoying when you have to start a new game and wait for it to load. Thanks byeeee

Quite distraught. Hello, i am living with depression and anxiety. The only things that get me through the day is playing your lovely game of solitaire, now to my dispare I cannot go back more than a month. I have only been playing your game for about a couple weeks but it has helped me through so much. And I have gone back multiple months and now I cannot. I actually don't know what to do with my life now. Any chance we can bring back the option to play the previous months. Even if it's only the year. Would mean more than anything. Thank you so much

This so wrong.. I have been playing this game for years now but over the past several months it has changed. Advertisements lasting longer than the games, advertisements that crash the screen and advertisements that display a black screen only. Twice today I have had to turn off my device and turn it back on in order for the game to reset. It has become very annoying and on more than 4 occasions I have given up and played another game, what’s the problem? Elle

Glitches. I love this game as I can change the look and can play without internet. The only problem I’ve had lately is that the game has been glitching and freezing while I try to play. It’s gotten to the point where I was tempted to delete the game as I can’t even play it because I freezes every 2 minutes or so. Im only writing this review so the creators can update/fix the app as the glitches have become annoying and if it isn’t fixed I may delete the app off both my phone and iPad.

Please go back to the layout before :(. Please remove the star from the top left corner or make it that when you tap the screen to make the bottom bar disappear, the star disappears too. It is distracting and hard for me to play this game now when I’m always seeing it there. It really upsets me that you feel the need to keep adding more fancy things. I just want to play solitaire with nothing on the screen in the way. The ability to make the bottom bar go away by tapping the screen is the best thing you did but the star is not. Please please fix it.

Solitar. I would give it 5 stars but sick of the adds between games. It would be one of the best games, but I cannot stand the adds. .? How do we get rid of the adds. You try and conceal the x but as soon as the add comes on I will never look at the add and only look for the X some adds are hard to remove. The adds are now full sound videos and I delete them a sap

Getting worse. Good game. Is fun and good for quelling some boredom. But it seems to have gotten worse recently. The app has been crashing on certain ads, causing me to have to reset my phone. And the ads have gotten more painful. There are some that give you a quick exit opportunity after 5 seconds but others don’t (usually the same ones that crash my phone.) I like the game but not enough to pay for ad free, so it’s on me I guess. I get that I am paying by watching ads but it’s getting beyond a joke.

Glitches. Frustratingly when I move large ordered stacks they sometimes jumble order once placed in the new spot, undoing the move will return the stack to the original position but the jumbled order remains. PLEASE FIX ! This glitch is very frustrating when you have spent a long time ordering suits only to have them jumbled beyond repair! This app would be 5 stars if this glitch was fixed.

Ads. Your game used to be quite enjoyable, but lately it seems to feature full screen ads (some gunk called "Shalex" is the worst offender) which simply refuse to go away. In fact nothing on the screen is responsive. Home button and repeat the charade until an ad which only takes part of the screen appears. Could you sort thus out? Also, I play the same game on my iPhone without ads and would happily pay to get the same version on my iPad but can't find it in the apps store... All fairly irritating....

Big time failure. I downloaded this two months ago and was happy. The latest update has rendered my iPhone unable to use this app now. What a waste of money and completely avoidable if the programmers bothered to check compatibility. I’m not going to buy a new phone just to upgrade software to run this game. Buyer beware.

Jamie3751. Would be good to understand how it is even possible to do the games as quickly as they say for example 30 seconds is not physically possible given how long the cards take to come out. Also need more feedback as to progress particularly after I’ve reached Level 350 and you’ve made a fortune out my playing through advertising .

WHAT HAPPENED??. I have been a long time player of this great version of Solitaire and I spent many hours trying to solve it. Having set it to win about 50% of the time, I felt ever so clever. Recently it was upgraded and I now had TWO versions on my iPad Pro. I deleted the old one and when I played the new game with eager anticipation I was suddenly confronted with the dreaded advertisements. What happened? I understand the reasons for the commercialisation but it has changed the enjoyment of playing it. I still love it but the ads are a nuisance. I therefore withhold one star. I would pay a modest fee for removing the ads but the option is not there. Slightly disappointed...... 🙁 🤓

Misleading and misrepresenting ads. I literally just downloaded this game only to come across an add in the top portion of the display. It was a set of icons, set out to represent icons that would look exactly like it in the game. There was a mail icon with a notification symbol on it. Too my disbelief it took me to a page claiming I had won a Mac Donald’s give away or sumn. So thanks to the careless ads being put up by the devs, some scammers probably have my IP and I’d be lucky of they didn’t find anything else. You’d think it’s common sense to check the ads on your game before you give them out to everyone playing it (I’m relatively young and do not and have not fallen for any ad trick before, this was shifty.)

Ads. Game is ok but the ads drove me crazy. I understand the game is free and you need the ads but you are not going to get anywhere by using such annoying and faulty ads. Some ads I had to click at least 3 different screens to close. A lot of the ads when you click the x to close it repeatedly takes you to download. Sometimes they just freeze the game. I spent 1 minute playing the game and 5 minutes trying to close the ad and having to turn off and restart my phone. I would rate your game as reasonably good but my advice to people is DON’T BOTHER. It is not worth the aggravation.

Relaxing. Played game as a child. Great to play a few games while you are waiting for something like a doctors appointment, train to arrive, in a queue etc. The process of the game works well in that response time from when you touch a card to it moving to right place is very quick. Like the helpful hints function. Although I know & understand why the adverts happen between games I do find them annoying.

Rules evading ads create frustration. I've been playing this game for maybe a year and happy with the game play. I don't mind ads in a few games, but the ads in this game are extremely annoying. The developers claim you can press a button to stop the ad after 5 seconds, but that either just moves you on to the next 5 second part of the ad - possibly several times - or else displays an X to tap if you want to close it, only the target area is an extremely small part of the X. Tap even slightly of centre and it immediately transfers you to their website instead of closing the ad. Is become so frustrating now I'm uninstalling the app and looking for another solitaire app, DEFINITELY NOT from MobilityWare.

Freezes. I absolutely love this game but in the last few weeks it has started to freeze on me and nothing will fix it unless I delete the app and start again. I tried using other apps to play but it’s just not the same and I always find myself re downloading it again 😂 please help me this is my all time favourite app and I don’t want to have to keep doing this 🙂

Stopped working. After adding jigsaw, all I get is a white screen.

Mobilityware Solitaire. The changes made to the appearance and operation of the game in April 2023 very much detract from it. I probably will delete the game.

Scragg. Good job, keeps me entertained.

2 stars based on where we are headed. Started out as a great simple, no nonsense app. Now, it has ads, and is getting bloated with nonsense and options to buy ad free etc. I’m about to delete this app. Only reason I gave it more than one star was because I used to really enjoy this app. They have ruined it.

Okay game but WAY too many annoying ads. ...and not only are the number of ads annoying but almost every one is a long, two-stage delete process. Fortunately this app is only one-stage delete.

Solitaire. I enjoy the daily challenge.

Ad after ad. This game is filled with ads. DO NOT DOWNLOAD!

Too many long unskippable ads. As a game it seems fine, but they’ve added ads that will run for up to 30seconds that can’t be skipped, and they’ve made it so you have to jump through hoops to close shorter ones.

Good game but the ads regularly jam my iPhone. Don't mind ads on a free app but some take too long and regularly jam the phone so I have to exit out of app to play the game again.

Freezes. Love this game but after 100 levels it freezes and won’t let you in. Tried powering off phone and rebooting and still locked out!

Great. Great

WAY too many ads!. Th game is good but the constant stream of advertising interruptions is beyond annoying!

Solitaire. Want one using three cards.

To many side games being added. Loved this game previously but they’ve continued to adds side games and different additional quests to do alongside. I’m looking for a simple solitaire game to play

Bon jeux. Très bon jeux

Wonderful game.. I’m totally addicted to Solitaire. Only one complaint: I was playing at 11:58pm. I already had accomplished all goals (I just had to win the deal) for that day (it was my first play of the day). However, at midnight, all goals suddenly changed and I wasn’t given credit for my (already accomplished) goals. Suggestion: DO NOT CHANGE THE GOALS IN THE MIDDLE OF A DEAL (no matter what time of the day). C’mon, 10 more lines of code won’t hurt you guys. It’s so frustrating! Anyway, congrats for the app! It’s amazing (with one minor flaw ;-))

Solitaire. Great game Love the daily challenge

Solitaire ads. I’ve been playing this for so long and never gave a review (which would have been 5). BUT recently the ads have gotten to the point that the x to close after viewing the ad has gotten so small that I end up opening the App Store repeatedly instead of going to the next game. I’ve always been fine with the ad model for these games but to make it so difficult to get past them is leaving me debating whether to delete the mobility apps on my devices.

Great game!. Would like the option of being able to reset to beginning or half way through game to a level of my choice Donna

Review. Great mind exercises. Thank you!

Untrue. They say they don’t have adds on their game. Wrong.

Publicité invasive. Publicité invasive qui force à fermer plusieurs fenêtres avec dés façon de faire différentes d’une annonce à l’autre

Solitaire. Nice game

Longtime user - GET A DIFFERENT APP. Had this solitaire app since at least 2018, and I never minded the ads too much. Today, I played for the first time in a while and I thought “hey, maybe I’ll pay to get an ad free experience” but that’s when I found out that you must pay 2.49 MONTHLY for no ads. There’s no chance replicating a several hundred year old game on a phone should net you 2.49 monthly from a user. 2.49 for a one time purchase? Sure. 2.49 monthly? Seriously scummy. There’s a plethora of other options on the App Store, I’m happy to find one that doesn’t try to leech off my wallet 12 times a year.

Daily Challenge. I try to get to work early so I can do the daily challenge, I love trying to break my score from the day before.

Ads. The Developer says you should be able to X out of an ad after a few seconds, why is it that no matter how careful you are with the X it takes you to the sellers website. Plus too many scam ads, 1 minute google search is all that is needed to verify some of the ads they are running are scams. Why is mobiltyware not doing anything, right, revenue.

Game. Good game

Blaring adds overide volume and sound settings.. Beware, this app will send you blaring adds even if you have your sound turned off or your volume set low. Seems obnoxious that an add can just ignore your phone settings. Won’t be using anymore.

Solitaire. Love this solitaire game. It is a morning ritual and sets the tone of the day, especially when I win the daily challenge.

Good App, recurring fee ridiculous.... This is a great Solitaire App but to ask for $12.49 per year to remove ads is crazy. Would be happy to pay a one time fee for the App but a month or annual fee for this type of game is ridiculous. Please provide full buy option like was available before these recurring fees became the norm. After a response from the developer that essentially ignored my question, it is obvious that they have no intention of offering a single pay option to remove ads. This is of course their choice. It is also my choice to suggest those considering this developers apps to avoid them unless they are willing to deal with ads or pay unending fees. To be fair, this developers policy about fees is the same as most developers. They are only trying to make steady income. I wish ALL developers would go back to offering the previous single pay option.

Review. Good game

Good program. Love the daily challenge

Annoying audio issues. I enjoying listening to my library audio book while I play solitaire however I need to reset the audio after every solitaire ad. This is just really annoying. I often give up and go do something else so I can listen to my audio book.

The game lags and ads are to long. This new update lags bad and the ads are 10 min long it's not a free game no more they make you pay monthly to get rid of the ads

Bad ads. This game allows ads supposedly from celebrities. The celebrity names vary but the ad is the same. They appeared on the Stephen Colbert show but the show ended before the "investment" could be revealed. It is all about something called Bitcoin. People like Justin Trudeau would never be a part of something like this.

Too many ads!. Great game but the ads will drive you crazy

Update. Don’t like the update it sucks.

Solitaire. Solitaire - good game!

Review. Would be outstanding without the pop up ads, they are A real nuisance. Is there a way to download a version without the pop up ads?

Solitaire. Love this game.

Constantly freezing. Constantly freezes, have to restart app to work again, then it just freezes again.

Deserving a 5+ rating!. Great game. Great time passer.

Too many ads. Not worth paying for and way too many ads

Fun. Great game! Keeps me returning to play! Just enough challenge. Of course....too many ads! Especially hate it when they pop up after I have started the game.

Dislike. Is rly laggy and also is rly weird notbky fav

Ads. Love this game but would be much better if there wasnt an ad after every single game.

Tehp. Good game love it please remove adds

Random deal. What a great tool for relaxing!

Broken ads. Game is fun, ads ruin the experience. Half the time the close/skip ad buttons don’t work at all and instead redirect you to the App Store after first going through safari. I’m just tryna play some solitaire not clear two other unrelated apps that get stuck in ad loops

Meh. Solitaire is solid, like windows 95+, but those adds, click off the add, brings you to the App Store, or brings up another “x” with a timer, or the “x” is literally hidden within the add, very obtrusive adds, until I learned how to close some of them , literally the only way was to close the app. I’ve never experienced adds this bad. Edit: all adds close faster if you close the app and re-open. Sometimes it’s the only workaround with adds that won’t open, extremely slow close buttons, or buttons that are literally concealed with in the add. 2nd edit in response to developers 2nd enquire. I’m not going to attempt to fix their crappy game by going to their support page, literally nothing wrong with game, it’s the adds that constantly break it. Easily 25% adds just spin a black screen. I’m sure one of the developers owns a phone, check it for yourselves, so lazy. 4th edit, I’ve deleted the app, any attempt to close advertising brings up my web browser, my spare time is more valuable then watching some stupid ads , this is by no means an amazing game that would warrant paying to keep ads away. Pretty sure this game is loaded with data mining programs, STAY AWAY!!!

Best Solitaire for iPad Air!!. I've been using this solitaire game for years now & it's great! I like card sites where I can either set my own background & cards, like this one, or just use the plain, which I like too! Most games have automatic Ace piles build for you; I like having the choice, which you do with this game. It's all in The Settings! So if you like the simplicity of playing a good challenging game of Solitaire, this is your game. Best of all it's free; the only thing I don't like or appreciate ( and it's not only on this Site ) is to pay for Ad removal, which I don't do anyway but the Ads do get frustrating, especially before EACH game-some super short, some too long. But overall, I love this game of Solitaire!! And it's never gone crashing or crazy on me.........as of yet!!

Good brain testing game. Very interactive game for testing coordination between hand reflexes and application of brain. Game tests user's skill and intelligence. With practice efficiency, speed and accuracy increases. Considering human tendency, users should be cautious to become addictive. I have seen many of coworkers solving solitaire during lunch period. If played rationally, this is an excellent game. No doubt that this is very popular and evergreen game used by very large mass. After playing only one daily challenge game per day since last 15 years I rate this as my most favorite game. This game is very good for fast ‘Brain and Hand’ coordination. With practice, game completion time can reduce. People should try to finish this game in less than 2 minutes and should target to achieve minimum score of 4000.

Great Fun People -Enjoy!. I have been Playing Mobility Ware Solitaire and 2 other games for several years and highly recommend them. The only complaint I have is that this Solitaire got “stuck” or frozen on my smart phone (not the other Mobility Ware games” & the only way I could get past the screen, was to go to the general screen & delete this app. Then I find the same app & download it back on my cell phone. My issue is (not that this is not a complaint but rather s request to the developers is that when we sign in again under the exact same name, that the 2 years of games I had completed be recognized & reloaded into this same account. Enjoy people one of the limited time watched & # completed games there is to be had (being played) for an game which I will always love & enjoy,

Why do "new games" keep repeating themselves?. I wanted to write a new review but apparently am expected to edit what I wrote a long time ago. So here goes: I'm finding this game very frustrating lately. It's been my go to game for a long time but when I click on "new game" I keep getting the same game over and over. WHY? I do love the daily challenge and look forward to completing it every day but some seem impossible to solve. Yes, you can click on some thing that allows you to get shown how to solve it but it’s hard to remember all the steps to do so. I also miss being able to deal out one card at a time instead of three, but that’s no longer an option. I’ve stuck to this game and just give up on the games that I try to solve over and over which is frustrating for me but a reality.

Honestly just crap at this point. I open the app. I start a game, but first I have to watch the usual pre-game ad. The “skip” button appears. I press the skip button. I am transported by the skip button to the App Store. I navigate back to the game. There is now an “x” button for the ad beneath the first ad. I press the x button. The game crashes. I am forced to reboot. And watch another add. One of the ads is a Dunkin Donuts ad which does not fill the whole screen. Therefore the “x” button is not reachable and you have to close the app. And then watch a whole new ad, despite the fact that I can see a game loading behind the DD ad. Many of the ads have an ad beneath them so I have to X out of that one which crashes the game half the time. Rinse and repeat. I know that none of the developers for this app will honestly care, but at least the “ad” experience for other free games is somewhat manageable. Your ad system is a complete virus. Please at least make it so they are reasonably skippable and don’t crash the game.

Great game, with a terrible ad problem.. I love this game. It’s been far and away this best way for me to settle my mind for several years now. And I don’t mind ads in a free app at all. But they’ve been pushing harder and harder for people to be the ad-free version recently, making their ads more and more obnoxious. Now they’ve started forcing blaringly loud ads between the games even if you have the sound turned off in the options. This is diametrically opposed to everything this app is good for. I like to play solitaire in quiet moments to calm my mind. Like when I’m trying to fall asleep in bed next to my already sleeping wife. Blasting a super obnoxious audio ad in between my games as some sort of blitzkrieg accomplishes nothing for anyone. I’ll never by a product that advertises that way. And if this app doesn’t get rid of these terrible forced audio ads, I will delete it very soon, and they won’t get anymore ad income from me either. Please get rid of them, they only hurt you.

In game volume. I have the in game volume for everything turned off for many reasons but occasionally, when the ads pop up between games, the music is playing in the at at what ever volume I have the phone set at. This is annoying and irritating. Having the in game volume turned off mean I don’t want any sounds in the game at all. When an ad pops up and their ad music is blaring, it can be startling and it it can also annoy people around me while they are trying to relax like when I’m on break at work. I know I can completely silence my phone but I shouldn’t have to. Why have an option to silence the game if it doesn’t include silencing the ads? Also, having to press the not interested button several times is annoying. If I press it once, I’m not going to change my mind when another screen pops up where I have to press it again.

Way to many commercials!!!. This is unfortunately the best solitaire app. I say unfortunately because unless you pay constantly to subscribe you have to not only watch commercials between each hand but the stupid commercials are at least 1 minute or longer to watch which is appalling to say the least! I get these app developers are trying to make money but come on already! One time the stupid commercial was 3 minutes long. How long is this ridiculousness going to continue until enough is enough!?!… These app developers need to get already no one is going to subscribe. You’re just going to tick everyone off and end up destroying your app. The commercials are out of control with these apps and this app is one of the worst with commercials. You want to sell the app fine. But to expect people to subscribe so people don’t have to watch 1-3 minutes of commercials is absolutely absurd and ridiculous!

Enjoy it a lot except.... My wife and I both play the same game; she on her iPad, me on my iPhone. We contest the daily challenge with intensity. We allow ads because now and then we find some good ones to sample. I have a problem with an ad for audio books that pops up with a little too much regularity. It is impossible to get out of this ad without restarting solitaire. That's my story and... Please, please, please take those STUPID bonus points away from standard scoring. Are you being run by people who have no memory? Those freakin things were never a part of your standard scoring since it was conceived. Or is it that you’re checking to see if I’m still alive. I’m 76 and still going strong. I’ll drop you a note the minute I pass on. Hopefully you’ll have fixed this (what used to be our) perfect game.

Solitaire. Good game. Any problems I have are nitpicks or pet peeves (like monthly reminders I can change the background or card decorations: I got it the first 8 times, quit telling me). Nothing I'd take a star off for. One possible exception is the ads. Having to see an ad each time I start a game is fine. My problem is the trend towards “resistant” ads: ads where you have to wait and click close twice. A game demo loads up, making me wait the time of a normal ad just to see it start. Then I have to wait for the demo to play itself a bit. Then the X appears - but haha, just kidding, because this doesn’t close the ad, it just loads the next part of the same ad. When an ad knows I want to close it and goes “no wait, let me show you more about it” I will avoid clicking on it out of sheer spite at that point.

Great, but…. Honestly, if you’re looking for a solitaire game, and can dish out the money to block the ads, this app is for you. I play it every day, and it’s great. The only thing that annoys me is that once I’ve won a game, the app tells me the stats of someone who played my hand “better.” Im sorry, but who is winning a hand in 30 seconds, but making 110+ moves? You know who? People who memorize the moves and replay the same hand over and over for better times. I know that’s a stupid complaint, but it’s just defeating. I’ll never come close to a 30-second win on a first try. Solitaire was never meant to be an insanely fast game. It was supposed to be about strategy. But alas, there are always psychotic zealots who insist on cheating the system to ruin it for everyone else. Nobody cares about this, I’m sure. I just wish replays didn’t count in overall scores. Rant over.

Keto ad us freezing my whole system and require a complete re-boot. I keep getting aKeto ad that is a real pain. My spouse ordered a “free” sample and then was charged over $ 240 immediately. She sent multiple messages to cancel but they were ignored. The number listed was a sham. It took several weeks to get my credit card to remove the charge and I had to get a new card because of the fear of being phished. When I get the ad now it goes to a black screen and there is no way to cancel the address except to restart my phone (or I could go to their website and order the supplement and get stung with another fraudulent charge). If I keep seeing that ad I will stop playing Solitaire. I will miss it but not enough to keep having to mess with the aggravation TommyCard

Appalling ads. I love the app itself. It’s your unavoidable ads that turn me away from the joy of the game. Animals being hit by a car and attacked by other animals? Then children are given an option to help them or not? Women being thrown out of their homes while their new girlfriend kicks the cat off the porch and the two of them laugh? Is this really how you want our children to perceive our world? Just because these scenes to some extent exist in the real world today, is it your intent to expose children to them just to make a buck? Isn’t there another ad you can find to entice a positive attitude in children and adults? Like I said, I love the game, I just don’t support the process to get there.

Higher levels=less deal completion. Statistically, there is no reason the lack of possible completions should increase in frequency the more you play. But: that’s what happens in this app. Makes playing zero fun, and definitely gets aggravating. Especially since the ads just keep on coming. "Hi there, Thanks for reaching out! Fortunately, there's a Setting for that! Please open the in-game Settings and swipe up to scroll down to the "Winning Deals" option. This menu lets you adjust the rate of Winning and Random deals, or set it to ask you each time. If you have any questions or feedback, please Contact Us. Thanks for playing!" This was your response. Respectfully, this is nonsense. Playing the game at the same level of “winning deals” all along should mean that I don’t experience any degradation, which I have as I achieve higher levels.

Good pastime. This is a good pastime. It rarely hangs although it occasionally exits by itself. The animation is excellent with a number of nuances to entertain although I would prefer it if the display built slower so the detail was easier to see and appreciate especially the pyramid and sailing ship. The adds are generally tolerable with the exception of the ones with the long videos which require way to much time to download and run and frequently have to be exited twice. I understand the need for revenue but too many of these will drive me away. There are also several adds which never end like the one from personal comfort for their Veterans Day bed sale. I also find the ad bar at the bottom VERY annoying. If you must have it, put it above the game where it won't be activated accidentally.

Draw Pile Not Programmed Correctly. I sometimes win solitaire when I’m playing with real cards, but I never win on this game. And I figured out why. When playing the “3 cards” option for the draw pile, this game does not do the draw pile correctly. What I mean by that is that when I have run out of moves in the 7 columns and the Ace piles up top, and none of the draw pile cards will play, I flip the draw pile and the cards are in the same exact order after every flip of the draw pile. For example, let’s say that there are 12 cards left. Let’s say the top cards of each set of 3 are 7, Queen, 6, and 9. I flip the cards and I get the same exact top cards. This happens every time, no matter how many cards. Real solitaire doesn’t work that way. There should be two variations in top cards, no matter how many cards.

Solitaire. I’m still in love with this game! And It’s still the only one I downloaded on my phone. Great graphics, awesome customizable options and fun NEW challenges. But now there are also challenges to complete a jigsaw puzzle, or earn a badge. Completing the puzzle is fun and can be accomplished within a few days, or less. You can earn a couple of extra puzzle pieces by watching an ad before the cards are dealt. But unfortunately, now you have to complete a whopping 75 levels in order to win a Platinum Badge! I took away one star because I struggle to maintain my interest beyond completing the level for earning the Golden Badge. Thank goodness this still only requires completing 50 levels. I miss the destination badges and card backings. But the holiday and seasonal badges are also a nice touch. I don’t think there’s any option to change the card backings to complement the holiday and seasonal themes. Overall I still think this version of solitaire is the best one online. Even though the free version has ads, they don’t seem to be overwhelmingly distracting from the game. I still highly recommend it. Even with Ads you will not be too distracted or disappointed!

Used to like this. I used to like this app, but the updates are making it annoying to play. Now there's a levels bar at the top when you start a game that cannot be turned off, I can't get the daily challenge to go away, even after following the instructions. The overall look has changed recently too, I liked the old look better. I used to have the paid version on my phone as well as my iPad and the phone version switched to the free with ads version and I cannot restore my paid version without paying again, customer service has been unresponsive. I'm looking for something else. Used to be able buy an ad free game, but now it’s subscription only. The developers got greedy. I’m done with MobilityWare. Update: It got worse! I used to be able to close an ad after a few seconds and resume playing a new game. Now, I have to sit through a video commercial before every game that does not have a way to close it early. The developers got really greedy, this game just isn’t worth it. I’m done with these people.

Game freezes: totally unresponsive.. I like the daily game. Today it will not load and tells me I need an internet connection. I HAVE an internet connection, and it works perfectly to run your interminable ads, but somehow it magically stops when I want to play your daily game. I bet it works to send you this complaint. There is a problem, and I do not think it is at my end. Usually you are a four or five star app. Today you have dropped to three, nearly to two. I wish I had dated this complaint. It was valid at the time, but I do not think the problem lasted long. As of August 27,2019 you are again worth four stars. Of course it is still a waste of time, but it is a pleasant waste of time. June 24, 2023: before and after the recent update your site freezes up in mid-game and will not go again. I close it, try again, and it fails again. I guess this gets to be tossed like other games that become un-playable. Too bad. It was not bad when it worked.

Get rid of ridiculous long ads. Been playing this game for years don’t mind latest update, little buggy but getting better. Issue I have is 30 second ads for cars I would never consider buying and less so now. I understand ad revenue funds development but 30 second ads are ridiculous!! I can typically tell a winning hand in less than 30 seconds and the multiple non-winning hands in between makes waiting for a new game unbearable. All seems like a scam to get your loyal users to pay the exorbitant price for no ads. Think it is time I kick mobilityware apps to the curb and look elsewhere. Tired of the covert blackmail to pay extra for a game many of us have enjoyed for years. You want to bombard us with intrusive long ads to increase your bottom line, see how it works out when a large population of your users migrate elsewhere, less users equals less revenue. And Acura I would never purchase one of your cars due to your ads interfering with my relaxation time, big fail!

My FAVORITE version of Solitaire!. I have played this Solitaire for awhile now probably over a year. I did pay for an ad-free version & am very pleased with it! I love the weekly games & try to make sure that I play all 50 versions of them before the week is up. They are challenging enough that I don't get bored which is new for me. The only problem that I have had is since the last update around 2 months ago is that the cards do not automatically move to the aces pile at the top like they used to do. I have to try to manually move them several times but usually end up dragging them up there. It is a change that is frustrating for me so I thought that you would like to know. Thank you for such a great game!!! ~Laurie

So many people are telling you they hate the revamp. When will you listen to your users & make adjustments to the revamp? I haven’t read all the complaints but I echo many of them. I can’t figure out why requests for change haven’t been met. For years this app has been my “go-to” to decompress, I play several times a day, everyday! The revamp has been so frustrating to me that I’m considering deleting the app altogether. The most maddening thing to me is that the characters move slowly, dragging down my time & they move at an absolute snail’s pace in the auto complete phase. Another problem is that when I am clicking along pretty fast, the characters don’t respond to my touch, even passing by something as obvious as an ace! This is not a flaw in my device. And I have serious doubts about the times of the top scores. After all the practice I’ve had all these years, I use both hands & can’t come CLOSE to the scores in the amount of time those top scores claim, certainly not since the revamp which slowed down response time, significantly! Please fix your fixes!

Very fun game, but not worth the awful ads. I’ve played this version of iPhone solitaire on and off for years, and have enjoyed it very much. Eventually I uninstall it because it is so addictive, but I always reinstall it a few months later and start the cycle anew. This last time round, the ads have become unbelievably annoying, and moreover they have music that will cut off my podcast or audiobook, which is highly irritating. Not only does the music stop the audiobook, but forces me to leave the app to go and restart the podcast or audiobook. Since each game is about 1m 30s long, that means I’m doing this every two minutes sometimes. The colorado lottery ad, in particular, is the reason I am uninstalling the app once again, and this time I am not coming back. I’d give one star, but the game itself is very enjoyable. It’s a shame I just can’t stand getting shouted at about “ARE YOU LOOKING FOR HIGH STAKES FUN?” No, I am looking for soothing flow and escapism.

Solitare is a very enjoyable game to play, BUT!. I deleted this app because their is just tooo many advertisements for me. Someone who doesn't mind all the advertisements will really like this app. AND I noticed all the apps that had excessive advertisements on my iPad were Mobilityware apps so I went through all my games and deleted all motilityware apps. I get enough advertisements on TV,radio, internet, mail and e-mails don't need them while trying to play a game. It's really too bad I had to do this because mobilityware has some very good games, very enjoyable aside from the adds. In response to developers reply: I don't mind adds if they are at beginning OR end of the game, I can't deal with adds in the middle of play. Right in the middle where it interrupts my play, not good! I understand the need to make money but why get your apps if I can't play them without interruption. If I paid for an app and this happened I would want all my money returned and the app would be deleted. Your apps remain deleted.

Impossible to win. I really want to like this game. I recently reloaded it on my iPad as I missed playing. However I quickly remembered why I had removed it. The odds of winning a random draw are ridiculous. I have been playing several games a day for three days and have yet to get a winning hand. I don’t rally want a winning hand every time, which is why I chose random draw, but to not even have one in over 30 rounds does not encourage me to play. I am not a hard core game player. I am sure there is someone out there who has figured out how to win every time, but I am just a little old lady who plays for pleasure and appreciates winning occasionally. Any chance you might make that possible? Update:Great customer service. Who knew you could adjust the settings to increase the % of winning hands dealt in random mode? I certainly didn’t.

Sit down, Solitaire app, we need to talk…. I’ve been using this app forever but somehow it’s only gotten less and less functional, and I cannot comprehend why this is happening. Solitaire is one of the most simplistic video game programs that a computer can run, like seriously, the 1990 Windows OS came preinstalled with it. With that in mind, what excuse could these developers possibly have for releasing a fundamentally worse version of software that’s been around for over 30 years? As if the undignified barrage of ads wasn’t enough, when I’m not watching ads the game crashes my entire phone after every couple of I moves. It takes like 20 minutes for me to finish a single game at this point. British people call Solitaire “Patience”, and I’d make a joke if I weren’t genuinely worried that it’s because they’ve only ever played this ineffably unusable garbage fire. I used to love you, Solitaire app, but that’s all over now. You need to go work on yourself, do some introspection. -Max

Decent. I love this app for the most part. I don’t like that the random deals are still counted towards your win statistics considering that some of them can’t be won. The ads are annoying because some of them come pre-muted and don’t pause my music and then some of them aren’t muted and interrupt my music or still play sound while my phone is on silent/vibrate or with the ringer otherwise off. And some of the apps are just annoying. My grandmother plays this app and it’s sometimes hard for her to see the X to close out of an ad or when she tries to it’s sometimes too small and ends up redirecting her to the App Store or a website and being an 80 year old woman she doesn’t want to nor know how to deal with that. We both have had the issue of tapping the X repeatedly and the ad still being there.

Best game with limited ads. The best part about this game hands down is the ads, now bear with me here, most games these days either play WAY to many ads, play one in the middle of a round, or plays some that are to long, or all of those together. This game does the opposite, it only plays ads at the end of a game (I’ll be it whether you win or lose) and you can quickly skip it after about 5 seconds. Now for the game itself, it’s solitaire, what else do you want? The only problem is it can be to easy to beat if you keep hitting the hint button, and just tapping a card will put it in its place if it can be played, which isn’t to bad if you miss where it can go, but its also very nice if your lazy or it’s a slight pain to move it across the screen lol. Only thing I recommend for the developers is to add different modes/difficulties, for easy it would be the same as it is now, infinite hints, tap to place etc. the higher the difficulty the less hints and/or taps you have, to the point you have none at all. Or add custom mode where we make our own. Sure that makes the app a little more complex but it would be nice. Anywho that’s my two cents, download and become addicted. Enjoy

Messed up deals for event play.. Update: This only happened with the particular level of this event. I could play a regular deal and it worked fine. I’mso I just did not get that event finished. I have moved on to playing the next event and it seems to be working just fine. I was as it seems just a hiccup on that one event. While playing the tile event level 32 on my iPhone, I got such a mixed up deal, like none I had ever seen before in this game. It is practically impossible to win! In fact, I came very close to winning; I had all the cards gone from my stack and all of the cards showing in the tableau, but I was still missing the 2 of spades. I still do not know where it was, but I got all the cards off I could. Still lost it! It was the third time I had tried this deal. I played the same event all the way through on my other two devices and had no problems with this deal; it’s like there is a hiccup in the dealing process for it.

Annoying menu bar still not fixed!. It’s the best out there, but I might switch because of one HUGE flaw. The popup menu bar covers and hides the stats for each game. Yes, you can hide the bar again, but when you’re on an iPad or tablet, you can touch virtually anywhere on the screen and the menu pops again. Sometimes I don’t even touch anywhere and it pops up. If you like to watch your time and/or score while you play, there’s a setting to hide the bar, but gawd forbid if you need to use the undo move button! You need to swipe the bar back up, use undo and then hide it again. All of this takes precious time. Mobilityware, please move the stats away from under the menu bar, to any of the corners, or anywhere else — It’s a simple fix!! And as to developer responses, they just placate you. Like you would pat a child on the head when they say something really stupid. The do NOTHING to change anything despite all the issues!

Vanishing Trophies (PLEASE Fix). I like this game a lot, but I REALLY wish it would stop making all my daily challenge progress and some of my trophies (like the July 2020 Trophy) vanish EVERY TIME I RESTART MY IPAD so if there’s a way to fix that I’d appreciate it. EDIT: While I could certainly redo the August 2020 daily challenges to get THAT trophy back, I still REALLY wish that the game would be fixed so that I could have my July 2020 daily challenge progress and trophy back too please if it isn’t too much trouble for the people who made this App to begin with. EDIT 2: And the reason why I’m saying this is because I REALLY TRULY do know and remember playing and completing ALL of the daily challenges for July 2020 (One daily challenge at a time each day.) when they came out, and I’m sure the people who made this App to begin with would want that issue fixed too, that’s all. EDIT 3: I’m sorry to say that I’ve recently gotten busy with other things (like random videos online and some other game apps that I have.) since I’m the kind of person who likes to do whatever seems interesting, so I’m not sure if I’ll have enough time to redo the August 2020 daily challenges, so if the people who work on fixing any issues that show up in this App could get both the Gold Trophies and daily challenge progress for July and August 2020 at some point I’d really and truly appreciate it.

Does the job!. Everyone knows that those of us who play solitaire play to pass time, assist in keeping our minds sharp and most importantly the thrill of shifting through card numbers.... this version of solitaire does all that plus rewards every 10 completed games with a trophy! In addition to the fact that they keep a great record of your playing time. I can see where I've increased my speed over the years. They also have levels of play. While I'm not crazy about the scoring system for this version....I'm not sure just HOW they've come up with this system of scoring.... I do like the other thoughtful ways that they've come up with to add to this age old card game to make it more interesting to play. I've had other versions of solitaire on my phone, I've always liked this one version best......

Slimy ad insertion. I'll touch in just 2 issues - ads and improvement. 1. Sure, like all apps, Mobility must make money by pushing ads and I know I have to pay to avoid ads. However, the problem I have is with how they push ads in a slimy and often times they push the same unattractive game ads again and again - even after I watch it and hit the cross/exit, it surfaces again. Surely, it's easy to know if a user is interested in it? Guess not. They're too lazy to do that, it seems. The could surface a different game ad or more attractive ones? But no, they don't. I used to watch the ads. Because I thought it's fair to them because I play for free. Now, I just sip my coffee or do something else while the crap is playing out. I've been playing for close to 10 years and have never ever bought something based on the ads. 2. I'd pay for the game but have not been happy with the development of Solitaire. Except for cosmetic changes, the core has remained the same in more than a decade!

Best solitaire game I have found. I have played this maybe 500x's (which I acknowledge isn't a lot). I have tried others and they don't compare. The ability to tap on a card for movement(as opposed to dragging and dropping) is great. You have the daily challenges which is really fun. I did have a glitch yesterday when I tried to move cards to a free space and I couldn't, but oh well, I worked around it and still won the game. The ability to change backgrounds, card backs, etc. is fun to change it up. Only comment, get rid of the advertisements between games. Overall very good game, the go to game for me. Sorry, one last thing. The top scores, and fastest times... that has to be a computer achieving those... right? Thanks for bringing a great old fashion game to our devices!

Sir Shuffles. You would have gotten 5 stars, but after you updated the software for newer versions of iOS, you decided to award accomplishment titles after every 5 wins. I am at Level 175 = Sir Shuffles. Well whoopdee-doo! If I was 8 years old, I would think that was terrific. Since shortly after I purchased an iPhone 4, when they came out, I’ve been playing your versions of Klondike Solitaire. I found it to be the most accurate - programmatically - to playing with a deck of cards. It still is! But I’m almost 70 years old; and I find the closest thing with which I can relate your Level Titles, is getting a lollipop at the doctor’s office. And I haven't needed a reward for being a “good boy” for that for 60 years. Are most of your customers so easily placated? I suppose it’s cheaper for you than giving everyone a nickel when they attain a new level. On the other hand, maybe it’s not your fault. I used to blame our country’s mediocrity on kids’ soccer, where they all received a medal - win or lose. But soldiers have been psychologically appeased by a shiny medal for centuries. Why even baby Moses was tested by Pharaoh to choose between glistening-hot coals and shiny gold! Anyway, that’s why you’ve received a 4 star and not 5 star rating. But go out and buy yourself a trophy for good computer programming. Spend what you think you’ve earned and can afford. You deserve it!

Lately it’s been a disappointment. I have been a solitaire junkie for most of my life. I look forward to my daily challenge everyday. But some changes have been made and when one advertisement shows up just leaves me so disappointed that I have already started looking for a different app for a different solitaire game. 1. When the advertisement for Redfin shows up that is the end of my game playing for an undermined amount of time. There is no getting around it to get back to the game. Why? 2. There has been an update to the game that no longer shows what my gaming score is following each game. I truly miss that. I will never be one of the top scorers but it is nice to see when I have really outdone myself. Why bother to tell me I have scored 100+?

Ads minor distraction, other features good.. I really don't like ads but I know they pay for the game being free, some ads are more annoying than others. I can make them go away by slapping more than once. Sometimes my fingers don't react with the screen. What I like most is the ability to change the appearance of the cards. I have my picture used on Facebook and twitter on the card backs. It ts taken from the moon with the Earth in the background. I have chosen background and card faces most pleasing to my eyes. Some ads try to invade my internet and have to be removed separately. Others never appear and I am forced to reboot iPad, but Solitare comes back on as if I had watched the ad. After winning a game, I enjoy the card display, some of which include front and back of cards.

Ok but updates may have ruined it. I have used this app for years but the updates have made it nearly impossible to enjoy. For one thing my phone (XSMax running on latest iOS) gets sooo hot after just a couple of games and it chews up the battery . No other app does this. I can run Pokémon for hours and it never gets hot like this app. The new leveling up system is ok but pointless. I play to relax and do the daily challenge so telling me I’ve hit a new level serves no purpose as far as I can tell. I used to play before bed but my phone gets so hot I quit. I know we have to sit through ads but it would be great if I could choose to mute them all. I listen to audiobook when I play and nothing like having my book cut off to hear a lame ad or worse when I’m in a waiting room playing and the sound starts blaring. I’m willing to sit through ads but I should be able to mute them all without having to worry about some ads ignoring my preference.

Solitaire review. The Solitaire games are very good and I enjoy playing the games every day. While I understand that advertising pays for expenses, I cannot understand why there is so much advertising. You spend more time watching advertising than actually playing the game. Also, some screens “X” that you have to press to exit the advertising and return to the game are very small and in a corner that is very, very hard to hit correctly to exit the advertising. So you hit what you think is the “X” , but it just returns to another advertising screen. I have done this over and over and over and it is so frustrating that I am tempted to quit playing the game! Please make it easier to exit the advertising!!!!! Thanks!

All the right moves in all the right places.... Here is the rating score for this game: Graphics: 6 out of 10 Ad ratio: 6 out of 10 Physics: 9 out of 10 User interface: 7 out of 10 Investment: 7 out of 10 Return: 6 out of 10 Achievements: 8 out of 10 Overall: 3.5 So graphics in a solitaire game may not seem like a big deal, but it kinda is. This game has pretty okay graphics, but it could be updated. The ad ratio is good, primarily because you can cancel them for the most part without having to sit through there entirety. The physics are great! There is nothing more frustrating than an unwanted ‘undo’. The user interface is pretty good. Also, it’s very detailed once you get into the menu options. It’s very easy to become invested into this game as they set very attainable goals that are fun. The return is good and keeps a nice cycle to keep you coming back. There are quite a bit of achievements you can get which in turn, feeds back into the invest/return ratio well. Overall, this game gets a 7, which is 3.5 on Apple. This game could be a 10 (5) with some very minor improvements. If you like solitaire, this game is a stellar option.

FABULOUS. I ABSOLUTELY love playing Solitaire!! I survived a hemmoratic stroke four years ago and the game keeps my mind working. I’m apparently a miracle and shouldn’t have survived! Everyday that I’m granted a new day and I can open my eyes, I’m BEYOND excited!! My stroke was caused by undetected high blood pressure. I’ve changed my diet and I walk EVERY day!!! I used to be 230 pounds and a size 20. Now, I’m a size 6 and feel FANTASTIC!!!! My husband has been MY BIGGEST FAN!!!! I attend a TBI Day Program and was awarded “Survivor of the Year” in 2017 and my husband was awarded “Caregiver of the Year.” Everyday I wake up, I’m BEYOND stoked to jump into the day!! I was in a wheelchair, then a walker, and now I ambulate independently!! I know this is way too much to say about this game but I’ve been to hell and back and your game rocks! Thank you so much!!!!

The game is a blast bit…. I play the daily challenge a lot. It is a solid app with very few bugs. However, I can not accept the advertisements that turn your sound on when you intentionally turn it off. I spend a lot of time in quiet areas where sound is unacceptable. At least once per day, an advertisement comes blasting through my phone. I can’t imagine the amount of sheer arrogance and/or the complete incompetence coding project managers must have to feel they have a right to override settings end users have on their phones. Because of this, I have quit using it as much as I would like. To be fair, Solitaire is not the only game that does this. It’s become normal practice for many phone game companies. Its just sad how morally and ethically corrupt development companies have become to allow coding practices such as this just to sell an ad. It actually makes me want nothing to do with companies whose ads do this.

Steaming. Pile. Of. GARBAGE.. I’ve played and tolerated this app for years, but it’s too far gone now. The ads are over the top. I’m fine with an ad playing for 5 seconds before I can kill it, but I’ve had to kill the app after every game today due to shady ads that don’t even offer the opportunity at any point to exit out. This is on top of ads that were already in the mix that run for 30 seconds or more without the opportunity to exit. Flat out this is incompetence of the highest order, and borderline fraudulent. The gamer experience is gone with this game. FYI, I’m on the latest iOS update and an almost new iPad Pro, so this is not a software or hardware issue on my end. This is flatly a failure of the developer as a best case, and fraudulent as a worst case. And NO, this does not entice me to hand over money to buy Ad-Free subscriptions. It makes me want to delete any app this company is involved with. And No, I will not be handing over device logs. Bottom line: Clean up the game or be relegated to obscurity.

Ads. I don’t know when it happened exactly. Probably since the beginning of 2021 but the ads are getting out of control. It used to be after 5 or 10 seconds an x or double arrows would show up to exit out of the ad immediately. But recently those new ads don’t present those options for immediate or nearly immediate closure. They have a progress bar at the bottom that make you watch the entire ad of what seems like 30 seconds or maybe longer? And some ads then seem to freeze just before the progress bar gets to the end. So I have to hit the home button and even then it takes 5 seconds or so to get to the home screen. I have to close the solitaire app or else it will just go back to a black screen. Not a deal breaker but it seems that mobility ware would police their advertisers more closely.

WHY?. Addiction is putting it mildly when it comes to this game. It has been a source of escape and challenges that has melted time for me, a necessity when watching over two highly active ADHD boys. Recently, however, the app has been the source of more frustration than Congress. Why? Because the BLOODY thing CHEATS! I have the latest iPads and all updated to the current IOS so there is no conflict with respect to hardware or OS. So why are cards disappearing from the deck upon the closing rounds of the game? This is not fiction or imagined. I have not only counted the number of remaining cards at the turn, but have placed by sight the card required to win the round only to have that card not show again. I haven’t seen card manipulation like this since I rewrote the Atari Basic Blackjack. By the way, nicely coded that placement of the last ace!

WARNING! This game drains battery power. NOTE: I rated it 5 star because otherwise the review gets buried This Solitaire game continuously tries to connect with its server, draining battery power. A half hour of play drained my fully charged iPad to below 50%. When I turned off its WiFi, the drain was much, much less. However, if you turn off WiFi, you don’t get ads, and they don’t make money. So the developers added a delay feature that pops up their own ads, with an inoperable “X”, that won’t close for ten seconds, and you still have to pound the button. Then there is an added delay on the “new game” choice, too. I really, really hate you greedy, money grubbing douches. You took a really great game and made it just painful to play. Curses on you all.

Great game!!. I have played thousands of games and never get bored. There are some hands that are not winnable but that's the way the game is. The Daily Challenge hands are always winnable. If you can't get to win one of those you can ask the app to show you a winning approach. The app keeps great statistics, never freezes, gives you the opportunity of redoing a game, which is a learning tool. It gives helpful hints if you ask. There are ads popping up before each game which usually you can get rid of in less than 8 seconds. And the ads often enough are about a product you want. There is nothing annoying about this app for classic solitary. I can't think of anything I would change.

They broke it.. I have played and enjoyed this app since my first iPhone. This morning I updated my iOS, and it is unplayably frustrating now. Don’t know who to blame: developer or Apple. For a decade, as long as I didn’t accidentally leave my wifi in, I would get one quick advertising slide at the top of each game. Annoying, but that was the price for “free” version. Today, even with wifi off, and cellular data disabled for the app, i am assaulted with a series of childish animations pimping games I wouldn’t want even if they didn’t go straight to my annoyed out of contention list. And heaven forbid I miss the very light-so-it-blends-in skip button! Then I am blessed with additional unwanted advertising. You want my $20 a year (for solitaire?? Are you for real?) so bad you are willing to bludgeon me for it? Forget it. I carried a deck of cards in my pocket for two years in grade school. I can do it again. I’ll check back periodically to see if you fix it, but until then, I will be the first of the people lining up to not play your game anymore. Update: I don’t know what happened, but, shortly after writing the above, and update for Solitaire appeared, and it fixed whatever was going on, mostly. So this is back to the best Solitaire in the app store. But we are in pandemic lockdown. I have nothing better to than keep an on this situation...

Yeah but. Okay, I realize that setting the game to all winnable deals does not mean winnable by the standard playing method. Sometimes you have to skip a move that presents itself in order to allow for a better selection of cards the next time through the deck. The only way to win these hands is to repeatedly play the same deal and try different pathways each time until you win. At this point it becomes something other than solitaire. This must be the method you use to get the highest score, which I don’t care about. I’m up to approx. level 370 and just played at least 40 deals and none were winnable with standard play. The deals must get more difficult as you go to higher levels no matter the disclaimer. The odds of getting so many deals such as this without some manipulation by the game creators is too astronomical to be possible. I like the features of this game but it’s becoming no fun.

When does it stop!!!. I grew up watching my mom play solitaire. Of course she used real cards. Computers were not around then. I think she played to release stress. I'm guessing I play for the same reason. BUT THE ADS DRIVE ME NUTS!! Just as I'm starting a new game an ad appears!! Why oh why do I have to watch the same ad over and over again?? Many of the ads go on and on and can't be Xed out or skipped till they're all done. Up to 5-6 seconds of my time. What a waste. I’m not going to pay for the ads not to play. There’s no guarantee that the ads won’t sneak through. I’d rather pay to play the game then pay not to see the ads. My question is why am I seeing ads for things I would never buy especially over the internet. A car? I’m sure there’s someone out there that will look at the ad and say ..... oh I didn’t think about buying a car!!?? If I was in the market to buy a car I sure as heck wouldn’t do it via internet. Show me things I’m interested in. I’m shown ads from Kohl’s a site I go on. So I know this site knows what sites I go on. I get so frustrated that I lose interest in playing.
