Sad. I bought this one because I played the free version so often but got tired of the ads but I’m half tempted to go back to the free version and just deal with the ads. This version doesn’t let you change card font and the current font annoys the crap out of my eyes and does not darken the cards when a card out of order is at the bottom and the style of the cards makes it difficult to read. I’m upset that I paid $5 for this version when the free version is better but you just have to deal with ads. this one hasn’t been updated since 2016 and the free version has been updated. Shouldn’t this one also be updated because hello I’m over here paying money to play this one.

Best App Ever. Spider Solitaire is a fantastic game in every way. I upgraded from the ad-supported version and like it even more (though the ads weren’t obnoxious in the free version). The interface is beautiful, gameplay is smooth and easy to understand, and the one time I had a question, support actually responded to my message! Amazing! If you play spider solitaire daily, it is definitely worth investing in this ad-free version!

Updates Are Horrible!! 👎🏽🙅🏽‍♀️. I’ve been playing this games since 2012 and it’s been my go to for relaxation. However, the recent updates are the worst. The cards are moving sooo slow. And it seems as if the games is playing in the middle of the screen. How can I move the cards back up? Is there a way to move the time and score back down to the bottom? It also seems like the cards are smaller. I understand you have to update things in the background to ensure it’s compatible with the latest software... but DON’T change the appearance. Customers weren’t complaining... Now it’s ruined.... and I won’t be playing this game again.

LOVE THIS GAME.. The Mobilityware version of Spider is the best I've ever played. Great graphics, and setup options available. The best part are their "Daily Challenges". Hey a new game every day. I play one suite and two suites for these challenges. I like that it keeps track of my wins. What I would like to see different color crowns based on number of suites played and improved overall statistics. What I really don't like are hacked wins. Nobody could get the type of ridiculously low scores posted on the leader boards.

Spider with seven legs. Love this game and use it every day. At the hardest level it is challenging and fun. The latest version has some good improvements, but I notice that the sound effects sometimes don’t match the animations. For example, when I complete a suit and the cards wend their way to the stack, the sound of the cards ends about a half second before the animation. The crisp finish sound used to be timed perfectly with the animation. Still, a great game that I play a couple of times a day.

frequent use seems to require deleting & re-installing👀. MobilityWare’s Spider Solitaire mobile game has been 1 of my favorite mobile game for longer than recollection, yet sadly the app for months has been prone to freezing for more than a few seconds EVERY TIME it is launched, opened, or brought in to view, (regardless of wifi or mobile data services…). What a bummer, this once great game has been reduced to a super-laggy shadow of its former self. It appears that the app’s local data results in an increasing degradation of the app’s performance/responsiveness over time ☹️ which necessitates deleting & re-installing 🤦 & a loss of game play history 🤷

Comical Climber to Royal Retiree. I amuse the folks who run this? Levels above 55 for restricted deal in 4-suit are strangely named. So now I guess it’s amusing to get to level 60. Comical Climber. Ok. Cool. I don’t play for scores or levels, just to solve as many deals as possible. Great app, y’all. Cool. I’m just a disabled old lady with time on her hands. Bring it. First Update: OK so I got to level 65 in 4-suit and the name is a respectful “Advanced.” Second update: They are making a great effort. Now I’m a “Royal Retiree.” I still work at home some, though, guys. I’m a writer. What’s up next, I wonder? Turns out that at Level 75 I’m now Spiderwoman. Well done, y’all. At 99. When I hit 100, can I be Grand Master. Thanks for a great game. Third update: Hey. I took time away when I reached 100. I see you changed things up with high-scoring daily challenges. I guess they are ok. Easier now, though to level up. I don’t know how to see what level I’m at except between games. How can I access that during a game. I guess I’m at Fast Fingers. Cant remember if that’s 130. Maybe. Still fun.

Won't live without it.. I've played others. This is better. This is the only game I play to smooth the intricacies of my life. Got one more doctor's appointment? Play it. Play it for the 30 minutes you are going to be in the waiting room and for the 20 minutes you'll wait in the exam room. If it's really your unlucky day play it for the 10 or so minutes you wait for your important doctor who come after the guy you just saw. This one actually speaks. "Looks good! Come back in a month." These days require zin like calm. Spider is better than tranquilizes.

Spider. I love the game - I am already at close to level 800 (and I even have a life)! If your goal is to beat your own high score, Spider can bring you hours of enjoyment without the frustration of other online games IF one is careful that goal does not become obsession. I have only two issues with Spider: 1. When I am playing, phone calls are going to voice mail because they are not ringing on my end even though my ringer is on. Nor am I notified that I have missed a call. Thus if I’m expecting an important call, I cannot play. 2. When I leave the in the middle of a the game for whatever reason, when I come back... the sound is gone. All the settings are the same, the sound has not been turned off, yet I cannot get it to work unless I either A. leave the game again, lock the phone, reopen it, open a different app altogether and go then go back to spider where I’ll here a click and the sound will return ...OR B. Close the app, turn off the phone, wait a minute or so, turn the phone back on, the reload a NEW game. Then I get sound. This is a new issue that has begun since you changed your format and I believe it is a bug that need repair.

Good game, could be better. I play Solitaire, FreeCell, spider solitaire, & pyramid every day, and they are all good games to challenge your mind, but they all have the same quirks that I wish would get fixed. The first is that after winning a daily challenge, you are presented with only 2 options - next deal or menu. Frequently, I want to exit so I can look at daily challenges. I wish that were an option. The second is that the games give you bonus points on your 1st, 5th, & 10th wins of the day. Oddly, how many games you’ve won in a day isn’t shown in the statistics. Just as odd, the day starts at 3 am Eastern Time for this metric. I will often wake at 1 am EDT and win the daily challenge, only to be given the additional 100 points for my 1st win of the day later in the morning. I also wish that some difference between pyramid & FreeCell in how they handle challenges would be aligned. While I am not normally a fan of the time wasted with the graphics, I like the fact that pyramid shows you when you meet a challenge whereas FreeCell makes you constantly return to the challenges (after the extra steps to leave the menu) to know if you’ve completed them. Finally, I often accidentally hit the button to play the daily challenge after I have already won it by mistake. I don’t understand why you don’t return to the menu after leaving the daily challenge screen.

Awesome update!!. I played this game mainly cuz it was a good for passing time. It had its annoyances tho. The the update / revamp came - omg it’s a joy to play!! The game is still the same but everything about the experience is SO much better!! More responsive, better looking, more modern design - I tell ya, I RARELY write a review and just usually just give my stars (if that!), but this the developers made dramatic and awesome changes that make the experience so much better!! Thanks!!

They fixed it. Below is my original review. After I wrote it, I contacted them and they said the updates will come in time. It took a few months, but they did and now it’s great. —— Going from the free version to this paid version is like going from my Xbox One to an old Atari game. The graphics are worse, very helpful features are missing, it’s just an ugly paid bait and switch version. Don’t waste your money. I bought it and still play the free version with the annoying ads. What a waste.

Whoops , what happened?. This has been my favorite game for years. And I love the updates recently added. But today I swiped off The return screen so I could see my move count ( it was better when it showed all the time) and the whole bar disappeared on the next move and wouldn’t come back. I couldn’t even end a non winning game and start a new one. I’ve never had a problem with any Mobility products so am quite frustrated. Help!

Absolutely brilliant game. Mobility Blackjack has to have been written by a genius! It not only challenges you to win the game but also challenges you to find all possible next moves. Moreover you can back up your moves to find a possible winning path. For those tenacious players unwilling to give up, the game will repeatedly tell you when there are no more winning strategies you might have attempted, but will patiently and unmercifully allow you to try again. Little spider. The reason I m not back is because there has been times that I have played the whole month without missing a day and I still go back and you put me back 1 or 2 I days I know there were times that i didn’t finish but i knew that then i decided i was going to finish and I know for a fact i finished and you did it again you know i love to play this game cause my dad taught me this game when I was a i was a kid I want you to know I’m not stupid and so you know also that I’m 84 years old if you want me to come back you better play nice. I’m not only 84 I’m a women.

I'm addicted!. I've been playing this game for a couple of years. I play it every day. I always challenge myself to the game of the day. I've had to do a lot of flying over the past six weeks and I've even enjoyed playing the version that does not require Internet when I'm on the airplane. It's fun; it's quick. I also love the personalization and being able to use my photos for card covers and backgrounds

Down time!. Spider By Mobility Ware is the best solution I have for every minute I need to wait on something. It’s fast, beautiful, fun and saves where you leave it until next time. Awesome way to think, learn and focus so you don’t waste your time every time you get enjoy this great game. I love evenings alone playing for hours at a time. You can see your improvements with the score logging every move you make.

Basically Good, But One Major Drawback Compared to Free Version. I played the free version for years. I purchased the upgrade due to the ever-increasing length of ads that were part of each new game. The upgrade eliminated that irritation, but replaced it with another that I consider worse: during play, if you tap a card (even inadvertantly) the pile will be moved, possibly to a location I don't want. The ads were just annoying, but didn't interfer with play. But this new feature affects scores. I haven't figured out how to disable this feature, which I consider a major flaw.

Fun and addictive. I've played many different spider solitaire games, but this version is my favorite. I like the variety of choices in games you can play. The graphic display when you win a game is different and a nice touch. I particularly like the daily games. I look forward to them and because I'm a night owl, I play the daily game at midnight most night. All of the games are interesting to play-- some more difficult than others; but not so difficult you give up. I'm addicted. This is the one game I’ve continued playing; eventually I’ve stopped playing every other game. One of my all time favorites.

Scoring the “Daily Challenge”. I love this game! It is challenging. I play the 4-suit Daily Challenge every day. I would like the developers to add a column for the average score or the median score. Occasionally I have played a really great game. When I compare my score or moves to the best, I simply laugh. Today the fewest moves was 113. It is interesting to see what a computer can do, but it doesn’t give any satisfaction. It would be similar to a group of Olympic Gold medalists competing in our primary school’s track and field day. There is NO competition there. But still interesting. Anyway, I would like to compare my scores to that of my peers - not a computer. Thank you for considering this request.

12 Years. I’ve been playing this game for over 12 years. It’s my go to when I’m in the waiting room for the doctor or dentist. It’s my go to for whenever I need to kill some time. I become so engrossed that it amazes me when I look at the clock and see how much time as passed. I play the daily challenge every day. I like that I can keep playing one deal over and over again, until I win. This appeals to my stubborn nature. And it keeps my mind sharp and challenged.

My favorite. This app with the premium package plays the traditional game without any ads to interrupt or waste time between games. The small purchase price is well worth it. In settings the player can select a number of personalization options (change tabletop or card backs, select number of suits, turn on/off for unlimited "undos" & automatic hints, move on a tap, etc.). I had this installed on my iPad 2 and now on iPad Air; no problems ever with game freezing up or not working properly. It's a good time-fill game that doesn't need an internet connection to play the random deal style. (To select a "winning deal" it DOES still require the Internet connection.)

Just the right challenge. I practiced with one suit until it got a bit too easy. I now find two suits just about the proper amount of challenge. If that ever gets too easy I'll move on to three. I also like the daily challenge. I work on getting 10 days, then 20, and finally the whole month for a gold cup. Don't always get there but I'll keep trying. All in all my favorite solitaire game.

Wow. This has been my go to app, but I'm not addicted. I can quit anytime, I just don't want to. The update has made an enjoyable game so much better. Thank you, most updates have things you don't like, this has everything I like. The new graphics are great and really make a difference. Everything seems that much better. My only complaint is that it hasn't made it any easier to win but the graphics make the moves easier to see. Thanks again!

Version 5.0.0 Ruined this game for me. I've paid for and played this game for a long time multiple times daily on my iPad. With the new version, the full card faces were changed and they are much harder to differentiate. Sure, they're pretty, but they have made the game unplayable for me because it requires too much refocusing of the eyes. The animations (which you can minimize, but not eradicate) are annoying and distracting. If there were a way to go back to the previous version I would certainly do it. As it stands, I'll have to search for a replacement Spider Solitaire app, which makes me very sad.

Help! Server down & it’s not on my end!. This is my favorite game to play. Yesterday it started showing that it wasn’t online anymore. Checked my connections and all’s good. Everything else will connect to the internet but not this game. So I went to the game website to contact them personally. It shows their server is down. I hope this isn’t permanent and they have closed shop. The game can still be played offline but you can’t play certain aspects of it that need the internet.

Free version has some perks.... I love this game and play it a lot! Used to play the free version, but thought I’d upgrade and get rid of the silly ads. Game play is similar, but the one thing I miss is in the free edition, the stack will grey out if there is a out of sync card. The pay version does not do this... and I miss that. As minor as it sounds, it helps speed up the game and lets you see the available moves quicker. Thought it was an option, but can’t find it anywhere. If they get this to align with the free version (& without ads) it is a solid 5 star game!

Spider is enjoyable. But —- the new program takes too long to download the daily challenge. It goes round and round for ages, then says there is no internet connection! When I check settings it is connected and I go back to Spider and it is still going round. Eventually I give up and then an hour or the next day I go back and it works fine. I don’t have this problem with any other program.

Latest update ruined the fun. The last several updates introduced various animations that detracted from the game, but were mostly just annoying. But this last version is outright horribly ridiculous with wasted additions and annoyances. You are forced to achieve the next level which seems to have no affect on the difficulty or other influences on the games. The developer acknowledges that the levels add nothing more than to provide a sense of achievement. Then you are forced to select a gender. This also seems to have no affect on the difficulty or other influences on the games. This to, the developer acknowledges, does nothing to the difficulty or randomness of the deals. There are several others. If you haven’t updated, don’t!

Best gameplay. This is by far the best Spider solitaire out there. I played the free version for several months and then upgraded to the paid version to get rid of the ads - well worth it. My only complaint is a feature that’s missing in the paid version: in the old version, cards that were a moveable column (same suit in descending order) appeared bright, and non consecutive cards were dimmed. I’m finding it much harder to play without that feature. If it’s restored I would definitely give this game five stars!

Great Version of Spider Solitaire!. I agree with comments from the others who have awarded this game 5 stars. I really do like Spider Solitaire, and the version by Mobilityware has the features I look for - ease of play, great graphics, the ability to override the default move, and very important- a presentation geared to adults. Apologies, kids, but Solitaire is best when kept simple - no bells, noises with each move, etc. This version in the bundle has no ads. What's not to like? I'm looking forward to the developers presenting their version of some of the other solitaire games!

Daily Challenge Top Scores - Really??. So the daily challenge is really addicting. At the end of the game it shows your score/stats: time and number of moves to win. To have something to compared your score to they also show the best score of the day as well as a leader board. All well and good unless you really look at these scores to see how unrealistic they are. For example, the best score today was 107 moves in 30 seconds - roughly 4 moves per second with zero errors. Personally, I am not interested in competing with an AI. It would be better to compare agains my personal best.

Freezes repeatedly with iPhone XS and iOS 12. This has been one of my favorite games by far, and it worked perfectly on my iPhone 6. It was well worth the $4.99 price. I’ve now upgraded to an iPhone XS, with iOS 12, and no matter what I do, the app repeatedly freezes at random. I contacted Mobility Ware, and they recommended a number of things to try, including reinstalling the app, shutting down my phone, etc. The app will work perfectly for a short time, then freezes all of a sudden, especially in landscape mode. Unfortunately, the cards in portrait mode are too small for me to see, so the app is useless to me. It was a great app with iPhone 6, but it apparently no longer works with newer iPhone models. So disappointing.

Disappointed. The review by Susan made most of my comments for me: I don’t like the greyed out cards, I REALLY don’t like being told my game is over half way through, I need to figure that out on my own. I love new animations, but right now they’re a mess. I used to play this game multiple times per day, my favorite stress relief. One more thing... please don’t ever bring back the colored fireworks! All that said, I think Mobility is a good company and I’m sure you will listen. Please think about change from the view of your users, and let the chips fall where they may. Thanks! Great version, developers keep it current. Love this version of Spider Solitaire. Have been playing this version for years, and greatly appreciate that the developers keep it current, with new and holiday themed backgrounds. The latest update is great, with better graphics and smoother play. One of things that I really like about this version is that it keeps track of both my time and the number of moves, so that I can challenge myself by either how quickly I can finish, or by how few moves I can make and still win a game. The daily challenge also makes a nice diversion each day.

New versions ruined it. I’ve been playing this for years. Loved the clean play and the high resolution. Made a point of completing every day’s game. Recent versions have almost completely eliminated any desire to continue playing. First it happened on the iPad, now the iPhone is “ infected “. If there were some way to go back, I would. The whole levels bit adds nothing to the game play. And now blacking out so called unplayable cards just confuses the issues. You have taken one of my favorite games and RUINED IT. Why do developers think they need to keep “improving “ games? LEAVE THEM ALONE. Or at least warn us so we can refuse updates.

I do not like the new “spider” graphic very much (the one where the legs of the spider move)and it comes up extremely often now when I win. Could we have the old fireworks graphic back and could you possibly rotate the new spider graphic in the mix less often? Thank you!

The games are rigged. The games are rigged so you don’t win. I am an EXPERT LEVEL spider solitaire player, and normally play with 4 suits. You can barely win with one of these. Awful app. You can tell it’s rigged because if you use the undo to check what is underneath cards... will always have the same on both stacks. Very sad for a paid app. Boo on you! Haha also if you select hint for every turn even after selecting winning deal. You will still lose. Definitely needs work. The graphics are nice though.

My favorite. I've been playing this game for years, and just upgraded so I wouldn't have to deal with the ads. (The paid version truly doesn't have ads, in contrast to other games for which I've read other reviews.) I like the animations, which are amusing short rewards for winning a game. It's easy to play, allows you to customize the important variations (orientation, whether or not hints are allowed, etc.) My only complaint is that the upgrade didn't pick up my history of months of results from the free game, but who cares?

Not as good as it used to be!. I am disappointed with each and every update. There are some real minor bugs that need fixing. They never seem to get fixed. They just change the game and not to the better. With this last update they have added the TRAY which is of no use and takes up valuable space and they have added the ad for CLUE. It’s just another ad, it takes up space and jeeps promising it will be gone in a day and never is. I have enjoyed thi game but this last so called update almost sent me looking for a new jigsaw puzzle that has fewer of these annoyances. Kate

Love this game, after update improving again!. Thank you for reducing the appearance of the new (fantastic) spider to decent levels. I still find the 2D version of the built triangle a lot more satisfying than the new tilted 3D Solitaire version, you seem to be replacing the stubby versions of stars and such with better proportioned ones by reducing the size of the cards to what they are in the lovely new renditions of the card suits. I seriously miss the ships. I do like having a bit more choice in background and card designs. I think I’ll go back to 5 stars shortly!

No good. 9 out of 10 deals unwinnable. In 9 out of 10 deals on the third or fourth deal from the unseen cards, the game will dish out all queens, kings, or (3) of the same card (e.g. all 7s or 4s). I purchased this because I didn’t like the ads on another spider app and thought the deals would get harder in order for you to start a new game and be forced to view the ads. The other app was nowhere near this non-winnable and you genuinely had a 50/50 shot at solving the game. The deals in this app are so bad that the player will be able to anticipate the cards received on the third or fourth deal from the stock cards, as mentioned, will typically be all queens, kings, or (3) of the same card. Stay away if you want a fun game where you may have a chance of winning every now and again.

Pretty Perfect. This game is my all-time favorite! MobilityWare has done a great job. I play every day, and if I'm busy and unable to play for a few days, I have "withdrawals" 😊🙃😊! I have one question: What's the trick for obtaining such high scores? For example, I can replay a game to the point of practically memorizing it, but I still get 12 to 15 moves more than the top players on the Leader Board. There MUST be a strategy I’m missing! Also, 3-suit and 4-suit hands are virtually impossible to win. Can anyone give advice on my 2 issues?

Very happy with this game. The only thing I would request is the ability to slow things w--a--y down when using the Show Me How To Win feature, which I do occasionally. I can't begin to keep up with seeing the cards, so this feature just frustrates me. Maybe we could even click on the cards one at a time, so we could control the rate they come out. Otherwise, the game is pretty much perfect, and I play it every day. Thank you!

Recent gimmicks annoying. I’ve been playing the paid version of this app for years, and really enjoy it. However, recently they have been making changes. While most are OK, they have more recently started adding gimmicks such as metals, awards, titles, and levels. I just want to play and enjoy the game, and extra pop up messages to tell me my level has increased or to choose a title are just annoying. Please give me a way to turn off these pointless features. I do not need them to remain interested in playing.

I Finally gave in.... I played the free version for 1 1/2 years.... put up with the ‘ads’ because they weren’t “that annoying”. For some reason this year somewhere, sometime , in February I decided enough was enough and I gave in and paid for the ad free version 🎉...the only regret I have is that my year to date plays did not transfer over 😢. But then again.... I now have two times the fun as I kept the free one as well😎. That having been said..... if the powers to be feel so inclined...I certainly would not mind having my past playing history moved over to my recently purchased game..... 🤞🏼.

Pass the time. Update Dec 2016-still the best solitaire game on the market with no adversing or add on purchases. Works flawless on my iphone 5s. 2013 review-Only program I found with rotation lock. Upgraded to pro because I was pleased and wanted to support developer. I use iTouch at my bedside and play before drifting off at bedtime. I can turn on my side and play this game with rotation lock engaged. Lets me both tap and drag cards. I can disengage the Game Center- others were quite annoying but this has no obtrusive adverts. Quite pleased.

Recent issues. While this has been a “go-to” game for several years, I am about to abandon it. First, there are delays in both opening it and then in maneuvering to a specific— and finally again in being able to start playing. Whatever those delays are do not apply to other apps, so I infer that it is an issue that the seller needs to address. More disconcerting is the fact that these issues also apply to their Solitaire game. Further, there have been multiple instances where a game nearly complete will simply quit. When such a game is a difficult one and it feels I have nearly gotten “out of the woods,” it is aggravating. When it happens twice in a row, I am about ready to trash the game. This last issue is why I have written of the first problem on this app instead of on the Solitaire app, since I have not experienced this last issue on Solitaire. I have already wasted enough time on this game that I am not interested in spending. More time writing about it. There are other games that are worthy of my time. Please fix both issues in this app and the same issue on the Solitaire app. Should you do that, then this app would receive 5 stars; should that not happen, that I will not take the time to give it 1 star, but merely delete both games.

Ruined the game with commercials.. The latest revision told us we would get fun and free features. The commercials are not fun. Between each game a screen cones up selling another game. The X quit button does not appear for a couple of seconds. After you X out another commercial comes up. The X appears on the other side of the screen after a second or so. Then you can play again. I’ve have fun playing this game for years. Like commercial, in app purchases Angry Birds, the constant crap coming up ruins the game. I don’t know why the developers want to abuse the customer base. It would be nice if they would offer s paid version with no commercials. Until then, I will find something else to do. Do not download this version.

One feature that ruins the whole app. When you get to the end of a game, the game now asks you if you want it to show you how to beat the deal. This is by far the most annoying aspect of the game. It didn’t use to harass you with this feature. When you got stuck on a game before you just hit back and tried again. I have played this game for years now and absolutely hate this new pop up. For two reasons. One, I don’t need it to show me how to beat it and two, if I did allow it to show me, it counts as a loss. I’ve beat over 1000 deals in a row and don’t need this feature, I might accidentally click ok on, to kill my streak. Please add an option to turn this off and I will be glad to write a new review.

How to loose time so enjoyably. Spider is a wonderful game in so many ways but don’t let it rule your life the way it does mine. One game and leave is impossible, two games is still not enough. So be warned!

Latest update is hellish!!. The latest update has given us an irritating burst of hearts each time we move a card over that fits the sequence. PLEASE remove this ASAP!!! It is distracting to say the least. Considering how many cards you need to line up in each game, I can’t bear to think how many times per game one has to go through this puff of what looks like smoke every time there is a match but is really hearts or something exploding like fireworks. You need concentration to play Spider and I prefer to concentrate. I can’t believe what you have done!! One matching card is no cause for celebration as there is a LONNGG way to go to finish a game. Greatest version!. I have been playing this version for years and paid to take the ads off the game as they can be annoying for long term users. The ability to use your own photos as card backgrounds is great and The challenge of beating your low score is quite addictive.

Love it.. Definitely in my top 5! Worthy of the spend in every way.

Latest update is the final straw. Dumping Spider Solitaire after years. Pathetic cloudbursts and idiotic games within games a la Candy Crush. I don’t need or want to have a ‘name’ which is being imposed on me - Lord or Lady Whatever. So that’s it Spider Solitaire. I’m gone.

Report on Spider. This would be the best game I have ever played, it makes you mad, abusive, you swear you will never play it again. But when you win its a delight especially when you get to know how to get around it. Good luck. Enjoy

Stimulating, but a trap!. Good fun, gets the brain working but can waste a fair amount of your time. Upgraded to the paid version to dump the ads, but also to be fair to the provider.

It’s not ad free. I paid for this so I’d have no ads, but I get your ads. Also, it’ll make suggestion about changing the colour etc, then put up a button that says “awesome,” No, it’s not, give me a choice of what words I can use, like “dismiss” “don’t show again” or even, “I’m not interested” stop spamming me, I only use spider solitaire for peace & calmness, I don’t want you “upselling” or annoying me. Stop asking me to contact you to resolve something when I write a review. Read it AND act. I DON’T want a ranking or to be told I’m some name. Go away, I play the game, it finishes, then I play again. Put a “Don’t ask again” button on the game and leave alone.

Love it!. I was about to stop playing this due to the ads, then found the paid version. Bought the package of 4 games. These are the best patience games around.

Daily Demons. I have a folder with the above name that I religiously complete. Spider is one of the challenges that I tussle with. Always a challenge and so smooth and beautiful.

Loving puzzles all my life this game provides endless challenges to improve your results. My times are slow but my moves are better, so I'm studying the ways to save moves. So great card game. Puzzle addict. I love this game and always have one on the go. I would like to be able to see the time at the top of my iPad while playing because sometimes if I only have a few minutes to spare I don't play this because I can't watch time as well.

Downgraded from a once good game to an Animated mess. Latest updates have introduced ‘childish’ and distracting animations that detract from what we come here for - to play a good competitive game. Once you upgrade to the latest, their is no going back, so stuck with the rubbish. Not even a choice to turn these distractions off in the settings. New update has glitches also, game centre has removed a good score and listed me as Anonymous, only to reinstate me but less the good results. Too much has been attempted by the developer to make is a showy, animated display. After all these years, it is time to regretfully start looking somewhere else.

Spider,Winning Deal.. Idle hours means a dull mind for use older folk but with Spider to employ those hours the mind is invigorated again. With goals to reach for and achievements to enjoy the mind is kept alive and well and can reach for the future.

Great and Consistent App. I have played it consistently for many years and it always gives enjoyment. Very important it does not require connection to the internet to function effectively.

Makes you think. A good little game that makes you think about your strategy. The daily puzzles are a good way to get the brain working in the morning.

RIDICULOUS. I just paid $7.99 for this game because I was annoyed with the ads on the free Spider Solitaire. This app doesn’t even have the NEW UPDATE! Which means I can’t change the card card faces. I want a refund! I’ll stick to the free SPIDER SOLITAIRE since it has the option to change the card face.

Frustrating, challenging, addictive. Love it. Got the paid version after years of using the free version. I’m so glad I did. It’s a far better experience to play uninterrupted.

Was a five star app. Latest update has changed where cards auto move to - don’t go where they used to. App is no longer predictable where cards will automatically move, so having to move cards manually now. Not as user friendly as previous version.

Stop messing with things that don’t need to change!. I absolutely hate that you have updated Spider Solitaire! Why must you “update” something just for the sake of it, you’ve made it awful greying out the cards that can’t be moved! WHY WOULD YOU DO THIS?!?!!!! Anyone who’s playing knows what can be moved & what can’t, you’ve made it really irritating to play & we still need to see clearly what’s in the stack to know which cards we want to move! Timeless. Purchased a long time ago. Gets constant use across multiple age groups. Not even close to tiring of the game.

Mega Addiction. Be very wary of purchasing this game. I can waste hours playing it sometimes. My excuse, "keeps the money no active."

International?. Love your games Mobility but do remember that the earth is round! You offer seasonal backgrounds for the games that only work for half the world. Don’t forget there is a Southern Hemisphere! Your 30 second ads are really irritating also. Give us a reasonable buy out price please and ditch those expensive monthly payout options.

New look is difficult. I love this game. It was easy to scan and ran smoothly. But the new look update I find is a big backward step. Shadowing the card above jus makes it difficult to scan and really distracting. I find it a frustration to play rather then a mind challenge. Please change it back, it was great already!!!

Spider solitaire used to be good.. You can’t ever get a high score anymore and the scoring system makes no sense. Put it back the way it was.

Messed up home screen in new version. I love this game and play it daily. But the home screen is not as good - what happened to showing both the Hint icon and your current time and number of cards played? Now I have to swipe up to see my score while playing? Silly. Please change that back. And the "golden shadowed" letters of "you won" is a childish font and takes too much time to display. Why improve the performance and then have us sit through that? Either make it faster or take it away please.

Need for levels of ease. I keep changing my review, but I put it back to three stars because the two-suit “winning deal” games have become increasingly difficult and no more fun to play. It’s impossible that replaying the game 4-5 times, using different moves than the last time, that one still doesn’t win a “winning deal”, other than it’s not rated easy, but rather diabolical. Sometimes it’s just sheer luck, other times it’s strategy. I will try a different spider solitaire and see if there’s not more levels of difficulty than this one.

Levelling up makes game un-winnable. Have enjoyed filling time with Spider solitaire game for years. Recent changes with levels have made this app un-winnable for a casual player once a few levels are achieved. I have plenty of competition in my life; solitaire has always been a way to unwind. Fortunately, I have a couple of decks of cards and will be going real world for my solitaire games.

The main reason I loved this game so much (back to the Windows version) was FIREWORKS!! MobilityWares version recently has included a huge variety of inane and stupid composite of winning graphics that degrades the initial "intent" of this game. imho... FIREWORKS!! I fell in love with Spider just because when I won, I got Fireworks! Now, blah. Perhaps, 1 out of 10 might produce what I yearn for. Spider Solitaire. Enjoy the game but dislike the fact that my highest score was early in my playing and no matter how much better I get I can’t beat it. I think this must be intentional to encourage me to play more. Otherwise, good game.

Love the game but ..... The Best scores are obviously done by a computer... today it was 118 moves in 30 seconds. I’d like to be comparing myself to the best human score, not some automatic tool.

How to Ruin a Great Game. Take a great game with no extraneous bits to distract, and do an update to add stupid, unnecessary animations (and yes, I selected the reduced animations option), increase the size of the toolbar and add juvenile messages and level options. Way to go. I’m aiming to downgrade by backing up from my old iPad. Hope it works, because this is now too annoying to play for so-called relaxation.

Love it but. Totally addicted to this but thoroughly enjoy. My only complaint is in how Game Center records placings because several times now the ranking inexplicably changes. One time I was at 15 total game ranking then dropped to 28! I did not recognize names that bumped me as even being anywhere near catching up so fast. This frustrates me as I watch this closely.

Been playing paid version for years. I would have given this game 5 stars but since I updated recently I've had problems with the way the cards display (they show on screen elongated and are frozen) and there is a several second delay until the cards display correctly. Help!

Spider Solitaire. I have been playing Spider Solitaire for years at night, so I can rest better, and not worry about life in general. It is fun and relaxing. I would recommend for people of all ages. Why worry about one’s day, when you can immerse something that might help in keeping one’s brain active.

Great game. I have been playing this version of Spider Solitaire for many years and have loved it. I was disappointed with the new update because it highlights the card at the bottom of each column. The support team got back to me the next day and told me how to reverse the highlighting. I love it again. Support was great and there are some good additions that I really like. Thanks

Awesome challenge. I love the daily challenges! Playing with 4 decks makes me really think and create ways to get suits together. I especially like the fact that every hand is winnable. I don't worry about the timing, I just love seeing if I CAN do it.....no matter how long it takes me. Some days I make it, some days there just isn't time... that's okay too...

Good game.. Appreciate the new graphics but during the game it’s too much and not easy on the eyes. (To busy). The changes before and after the game are okay. Daily challenges don’t upload easily and completed challenges don’t update easily. Would happily pay to have the old version back, and rate the app more favorably.

My favorite solitaire game, well designed.. I like this version of Spider. Cards and backgrounds are customizable and the play is easy and intuitive. The game is challenging. I am currently on the two suit level. Each level increases the complexity significantly, so you can play for years and continue to improve over time.

Long time user. I've enjoyed this game for years. Used the free game for about 6 years. Just decided to pay for the version without the ads, because the ads were getting out of hand and distracting. Love the paid version. Would have liked to change my screen name. But oh well. You get what you get.

Great Game. I’ve been playing for years and the game works very well. The only “qwerk” I have found is that the game won’t allow me to go past level 1999…it resets to 1900 instead of advancing to 2000. It’s done it twice now :) Like I’ve said, been playing for years!

Spider Changes. I do enjoy spider solitaire, but not all of the recent changes to the software. I don’t like the “hints” when available cards turn bright white. I especially don’t like that the score goes away at the end of the game. You have to swipe 3 times to see your final score...very annoying. Thanks for reading this...I hope you make the changes.

Dimming unplayable cards?. I see others are also displeased with this update. There needs to be a way to turn off this new feature. It makes it much more difficult to see two or three moves ahead. This used to be one of my favorite games but I no longer want to use it as it now works.

Changes don’t work. The new look is not an improvement. There is less information on one screen, the dock takes up more room, and you can’t see your time, move count and score if it’s up, plus, you have to wait to see that information if you win or lose. I liked it better before.

You are cheating. I have played for several years. But today you are cheating. The web site plays the solution for the daily deal. But twice in the playback you fail to fill all the columns before selecting the next deal. Send me a gold trophy for the month!

Love this game. Out of all the spider solitaire games out there this one by Mobility Ware is by far my favorite. I have it on all my devices. I swear I’m addicted to it. I lose track of time. The only bad thing I can say about it is that you can’t get it for your Kindle without ads. 😒 I hate ads! But for my iPhone I was able to get it ad free.

Problems with app. I purposely upgraded to the app with no ads and have not been happy. The program consistently has problems with recognizing my internet connection. Some days it does and other days not. The rest of my internet dependent apps work fine so it has to be the app. I have done every troubleshooting step and still have a problems. Very disappointed.

My favorite game. I have played this game and have seen so many patterns on it of doing the day and in my sleep. I have played at least 1000 different games here and have mastered both single suit and double suit. I have been working with three suits although I get a little confused on that. This game is quite enjoyable and I am pleased with founded it

Nice game but update was terrible. Loved but after latest interface updates it became buggy, bottom bar goes away and does not come back as before. App is not as responsive as before. Last but not least, I just upgraded from an iPhone 7 plus to a XS Max and game is even worse regarding visuals and responsivess.

Game Center pop-ups. 😡 Please get rid of the incredibly annoying and useless Game Center pop-up reminder that started with the last update. So irritating. I clearly KNOW that I’m not signed in. I clearly do not WANT to be signed in. Being signed in has absolutely no affect on the way I use your apps. I’ll gladly update to five stars if this goes away. Same thing applies to MW’s solitaire and freecell apps. JUST. STOP.

I love it.. It still is a great game. It is true that I miss the celebratory fireworks. However, as I now realize, variety really is the spice of life. I would not mind the fireworks being added in now and then in the regular rotation as they really were the best animated fireworks I have seen. I continue to play as often as I can.

Screen Sensitive. I love the new update except that when I tap cards close to the top of my IPhone screen, the screen pulls down. I then have to sweep the card game screen back up. This can happen multiple times during a game. The previous version did not have this issue. It’s frustrating.

Clock. Very, very frustrated that there is no ongoing clock available to look at while play is going on. I do appreciate that it is a little faster paced than it has been in the past. It is also quite frustrating that after getting an entire set from King to Ace that it takes several seconds to be able to return to play mode.

Spider Solitaire. My daily challenge and fun. The ability to change the cards and background are a nice feature. I really like the daily challenge! Being able to have different levels of difficulty/— one suit, two suits, three, even four, if you feel up for it — is great, too. I only go two suits. My way to calm down.

Great game & company. This game can be frustrating @ times but am happy with the company that has done this game plus other Solitaire games. As I have tried several others games that this company has made& play them all the time as well. I had tried this same game but from another company & came back to this one for many reasons. If you don't win the 1st time around just keep trying.

A Good One. The play is pretty good. The graphics are excellent. I enjoy this spider more than the others. The hints are really good if you use them or not. I just wish they would make hearts or spades or pinochle. I say that because it seems that they have the logic, because the games or the play is always a challenge.

Side orientation is off. This is a classic game, but the most recent update made the layout wonky when you turn your phone to the side. I usually play in landscape mode so the cards take up more of the screen. This way they are larger & easier to see, and the screen is more visually appealing as the background is not 80% of the screen. Please change this back!

hideous update. First, I really enjoy the game, as a game, that hasn’t changed. That said, the visual aesthetic of this upgrade is hideous. I hate the new look. It’s cartoonish and infantile. Why this look is perceived as an improvement over the old, I have no idea. Beyond the change in style, I have no idea what other changes were included in the update. Perhaps there were changes they needed to make for performance and OS compatibility? Fine, but I wish they had left the UI untouched. Their improvement broke something that didn’t need fixing.

Comments on version 5.0.1. I just updated my spider solitaire. While in general I like the update, I have two comments/ complaints. 1. The previous version continually showed the number of moves and the time in the game. I liked having a sense of where I was in the game. This version has eliminated that info. Very Disappointed. 2. I have only played 3 games so far but each winning graphic has been the same. Is that a bug?

Never gets old. I have been addicted to Spider Solitaire for many years, since it came as a free game on a PC. I play other games off and on, but come back to this one. It is simple, but challenging. This version is the best, the ability to tap to move or not, change look, and choose difficulty, make it fun to play.

objective is to make you lose. I have played many spider solitaire games and this is the only one I have ever found where it consistently makes me lose three games before it lets me win one. Dealing all even cards or all odd cards or giving you A whole board with no nines isn’t a game. It is designed to make you lose until it has mercy on you and let you win one. I have never found this in another spider game.

Missing Jeweled Crowns. Jeweled Crowns once completed disappear when opening the app the next day. The previous day’s Daily Challenge must then be replayed or submit to a process to restore the previous day’s Jeweled Crown. This has happened regularly over the last several months. It has been reported previously.

Challenging Game!. Great Game to challenge the mind. It forces you to work through a problem to find a conclusion. However, it does not end there. You get challenging games each day that add up to crowns and trophies so you can track how well you did all year! It’s entertaining and mind-sharpening fun for all ages of adults.

Spider. Love the game sometimes it can be a real challenge but in the end I managed to solve it I like the daily challenges and goals I have 8 different games from mobility and I spend time here and there during the day solving them all keep up the good work thanks for the enjoyment

Bug in Spider. You need to fix the bug in Spider’s “Set Background” programming. The app accepts to photo selected but upon tapping either landscape or portrait to edit, the app freezes. Please and thank you. I like having photos of my great grandchildren visible while playing. The free app worked fine last time I set it up with photos so I’m obviously disappointed after paying for the ad free app to not be able to add my photos.

Rewrite not as good.. The new look for the end of 2018 is not an improvement. The buttons are more cartoony and bigger, taking up screen real estate. The proportions of the cards seem off. They seem a few pixels too tall. I especially do not like the shading of cards not in play. I’d like to be able to turn that off.

Not a fan.... ... of that recent update. I seriously hate how the „inaccessible“ cards are now dimmed. I find it very hard to see possible moves now as this introduces basically a third color to the game. PLEASE add a button to the settings where I can inactivate this! As it stands, I don‘t want to play anymore and will look for another solitaire app if this does not get fixed. Thanks.

Thank you for fixing the issue where . . .. The screen blacks out while I am playing, the cards moving slowly or not at all. It has not happened again. I wish I could figure out how to report issues like this without resorting to a bad review, but apps don’t come with customer service information or directions do they.

My favorite time-waster!. I play a at least few games every day - some are fairly easy, some difficult, but always different! The (fairly) recent Inclusion of bonus point awards for always-changing objectives makes it even more interesting, because you’re not only playing to win, but to win while also achieving a collateral goal. Watch out, you’ll hooked!

Super fun but.... I played the free version for a while and I really liked the look of the cards and how the cards were greyed out when an incompatible card was placed on top. I almost prefer the free version because of these things but the ads do get super annoying after a while—I think I’ll continue to try and stick with the free version for a little while longer.

Great App - never a problem or glitch. Have never had a problem with this app - superior quality. I like the flexibility in the area of difficulty. I can play with any number of suits based upon how hard I feel like working my brain. Great time killer when waiting for appointments or just for unwinding after a busy day. Have 3 MobilityWare game apps and love them all.

Revised. Ruined a good game. Goals can be turned off! Thank you! Back to 5 stars I absolutely hate what you did to this game with the latest update. I liked it just fine with out “goals” and happy time wasting crap. Why can’t we just play the game and see our stats? I couldn’t care less about levels either.

Unresponsive customer service. My problem/comment is: It’s been months since I purchased this game and have waited for you to fix the inability to choose your own picture as background. I have contacted you Several times and you say you are working on a fix....the problem does not happen in the free version....why do I have to use the free version with my own picture and be subjected to advertising or use the paid for version and have the background only be able to be the completely drab choices you have as a selection ...PLEASE FIX THIS. I PAID FOR A FULLY FUNCTIONAL GAME WITHOUT ADVERTISING!

Missing the number of moves. The recent changes were somewhat okay, EXCEPT not showing the number of moves until after all the animations have ended. I want to see my progress AS it happens, not wait until all the animations (which I seldom waited through) are complete to see my progress. And where you moved the choice of games and hints to is awkward, but doable.

Keep the FREE version with ads!!. PLEASE FIX IT!! So I love this game and am totally addicted. I decided to get rid of the ads and just buy it. Dang! I spent $5. on an inferior version. It is totally not the same as the free version with ads. First off, the number on the cards are wonky and it’s hard to decipher the number. The other thing is that there isn’t the gray/white color difference for the new and used decks as it is in the free one. The free one has red- hidden cards, gray- cards seen but not used and then white for the new deck. Maybe my eyes are old but between the weird numbers and not the gray color it is really difficult to see. 😢 Going back to free.

Best version to play don’t like levels. I’m addicted to this version of Spider Solitaire. The layout is great as are the available themes. I appreciate the highlighting of “live” cards. I’m subtracting a star because I don’t like the levels added in recent update and there’s no option to ppt out. (I also miss my favorite win graphic — the ship!)

I wish. I wish they didn’t black out the seconds at the bottom when I am playing a game. Sometimes I keep races going and want to see the seconds, but it’s blacked out. Also if I don’t wish to keep score, that I could tap a button to keep playing and not have to wait for a score I don’t care about. Otherwise, good job!

Love It. Totally addicted. Cannot sleep without playing a game each night. The only thing I ever missed about Windows was Spider Solitaire and this game is my fix. You will like it and it's totally worth the price for dispensing with the ads. Thanks for this app. Lots of choices on cards and backgrounds to mix it up. Gives score and comparison with others. I love the new endings so it's varied and not always fireworks. This is a perfect game! Thanks!!!

Love this version!. I love this version of Spider because it gives me the option of choosing a winning game and when I still lose (which is most of the time) at least I know I wasn't playing a no-win scenario. I play all four suits so even a winning deal is very challenging so every day I play till I win. Great game!

Disappointed. I have four devices in two homes, iPhone 6 Plus, iPad Mini 3, iPad Mini 4 and iPad Air 2 and your Daily Challenge has to be repeated on each device even though I am signed on. Please make your app user friendly and let me have one account which appears on many devices

Go To Game. I have been playing this for years! It is a great filler when waiting for an appointment or as a way to relieve stress. I do question why there would be games that are not winnable. I actually enjoy difficult ones but do not want to waste my time trying to solve one that has no solution!
