Love this App. I’ve used other remote Apps & this one is Best hands down. Easy to connect and use. Exact replica of actual remote. Ads are short and infrequent. I couldn’t be more pleased as my remote is constantly glitching in & out of this dimension! 😉 Great job and Thank you!

It works. Some things are easier to use than the remote that came with the tv.

Can’t even see if it works. I got the free version. It has a picture of my Blu-ray remote. I opened the app and it immediately got caught in my ad blocker. I have no issues with buying an ad-free app that works, but I don’t want to waste money on one that doesn’t. This one says that the device needs to be on my WiFi network. I think that my blu-ray player doesn’t have WiFi access , so it would not work with this app. I have rated it 1 Star because it hits me with ads so quickly I can’t even find out.

Best one I’ve seen. Dog chewed up the second remote so I just decided to download a bunch of free ones to test them out for my LG tv. Half of them had really annoying ads, the other half wanted $5 subscriptions lol. This one has ads but I’ve seen maybe a handful of them in my time using it (3ish weeks) and none of them are those videos ads you have to wait for, you just press X and go back to using the remote. If you’re taking the time to read these reviews and don’t wanna spend any money but have a useable app, just grab this one it’s fine

Works great except can’t change channels, use voice activation or turn back on after turning off. Remote looks identical to the one I have, but only about half of the functions work. Seems that all the ones on the left side work (except turning back on) with the ones on the right not working - channel changing, guide, etc.

This F$&#%ng app is sh#% - $4.99 for garbage. My LG remote was nowhere to be found. My daughter likely left it somewhere in our room, but since I wasn’t in the mood to tear my room apart to try to find it. I figured I’d search for an alternative, which would eliminate the need to search for a remote ever again. Well I chose this app namely because of the first review I read and I figured it would to the job. The app connected my tv and my iPhone pretty quick. However, I quickly noticed all these pop-ups which I had to keep closing before I could access the remote. This was disappointing since I thought the $4.99 would limit ads. It was only after a few minutes and a few selections that the up and down buttons weren’t working. I do not recommend this app .

Not too good. It is useful but not so friendly. Once in a while the ads pop while you’re still navigating the remote. And if you lock your phone and need to go back to the remote, you will always need to refresh because some of the buttons not working. Wish it could be better.

Very Nice. Works really well with my LG smart tv. Able to control my kids tv from downstairs and put Netflix on and change the volume and whatever else I want from my phone. Since we kept losing remote controls and not being able to find them this solution worked so much better. Thanks for providing this app it’s worked out nicely.

Amazing. My lg remote broke a couple days ago (middle scroll wheel caved in) and I thought I was gonna be screwed and not able to use my tv until the replacement came in then I stumbled on this app and I didn't even end up buying a new remote I just ended up buying the ad free upgrade on this lol, highly recommend it connected instantly and worked flawlessly since, thanks devs

Works great! Has great features but…. The app will open adds when u are clicking on the remote! It’s so annoying, I understand why ads exist but why does it have to be at the most inconvenient time!! I’ve had so many tabs open because the remote makes me press on the advertisements. Please fix this! Also not being able to use the keyboard on apps only on the TV is not amazing hurts my feelings :((

This is Amazing!. I’ve wanted to adjust the volume of my TV with my iPad for ages. This app allows me to do that and more! I totally recommend giving it a go and, if of you like it, paying for the one time fee to remove the ads Thank you so much to the developer(s)!

Almost perfect. I really like it. Has everything I need. The only issue is the app has to load up for several seconds every single time you open it. Even if you leave it open and switch to another app briefly. Unlike say a Roku app where you open it and it’s ready to go. It’s enough of an issue that I actually look for the real remote first before going to the app. 4 stars. 5 if this issue ever gets fixed.

Best replacement for LG remote. I tried a bunch of these remote apps and this one is hands down the best. The media remote makes navigating streaming apps a breeze. I also love the text input feature that allows you to use your phones keyboard. I definitely recommend spending the $2.99 for ad free lifetime use though because the ads are pretty annoying.

Nice backup remote. Comes in handy since I often lose the remote. Of course you have to manually power the tv on first but that’s not a big deal to me

Ads. I jus wish there wan too many ads. Cause I’m sittin here turning up the volume and then I accidentally click an ad😂. But it is very responsive and actually works. Just open the app, search for device (your TV has to be connected to the same internet tho.) and let it load. Now you got a mobile remote👍🏾

AD RIDDEN GARBAGE - USE ANYTHING ELSE. First I have to get my TV and phone on the same WiFi, which sounds fine at first, but if you change addresses that can be a nightmare. Then it takes forever to authenticate. Then after dealing with the authentication process and loading screens, I make it a handful of clicks within the app before an ad is thrown up over my entire screen, bringing me to some stupid webpage just so I can close out of THAT, all to finish changing the volume on my TV. 1. They should have a Bluetooth option, this would circumvent any issues with WiFi, and the authentication process. 2. I understand ads are an important source of revenue, but keep them to the border of the screen, pop-up ads are for spam emails.

Just buy a new remote. The app routinely disconnects from the TV after a few minutes, and the re-connection setup is complex. Worse, when it’s working, the ads pop up over the screen while you’re trying to “no-look scroll” thru a menu so you’re constantly having to close pop-up windows you inadvertently clicked on

Works great!. Everything works like your normal remote except for holding the numbers for quick access. Otherwise fantastic app for An LG remote.

Cell help 1 O 1. This is a great way to use your smart tv by LG after your remote has been lost or stolen! This APP has my TV’s synchronizing capability to use as a stock remote after mine was lost or stolen! I can change channels, volume, and other attributes! I can watch my tv finally threw my i6s. All I had to do is read and listen to this APP after downloading to get the ability to use my smart T.V. The absolute best, LG TV, remote app. When I got my new LG C1 77 inch smart TV I needed a remote app. I downloaded five or six that were the most popular in the App Store and this one right here is the one to get! It has every single feature you would need to control your TV from A-to-Z. And paying four dollars to remove ads is a no-brainer. No monthly or yearly costs ever just four dollars and you’re all set. I love this app and I use it every time I watch my LG TV. Fantastic and highly recommended!

Doesn’t work and difficult to contact customer service. At first, I thought this app was great and purchased the full remote option. Seemed worth it because I always lose my remotes. However, around two days later, for some reason, the app just could not connect to my TV. There is nothing that I did differently. I even restarted my TV, my network and phone because I thought it must have been an issue, but it still didn’t work. It’s not clear how to contact customer service, but just doesn’t seem worth the time.

Surprised Me!. It actually worked and worked well. Pretty basic and has ads. But not the obtrusive kinda that distract from functionality. This thing is a win.

Worst app ever. Lg remote superb. This remote is truly like having the true remote It’s auto-connect upon start is awesome and I would recommend this app to anyone needing a remote. Even for an extra or back up I’d Suggest this. Great app!!

Amazing Digital Copy of OEM Remote. Connects quickly and is an exact replica of the OEM Remote. The small one time fee for no ads makes this a no brainer! All the functionality of the OEM Remote and just about as fast as pushing physical buttons. A+++

Well done app. You can deny location services and connect manually if you want to do so. The developer is open and honest about the reason why location services are required (thanks Apple). The interface is super easy to use and it’s just $3.00 to remove ads forever rather than requiring some type of subscription. Well done!

Connection in background. I like app, I have 9 month old and I use this app as he always throw remote around, I would love this app to keep connected to device in background. It always wait for sync each time I open app.

Probably should’ve given you five stars, sorry.. The fact that it’s free makes you my favorite people on the planet, the only difficulty I had was trying to rewind 10 minutes of content before running into commercials, as I’m trying to hit the rewind button. Amazingly User Friendly, see to believe!. Believe it or not, between my husband and I, one of us lost the original remote to our bedroom television. So of course my husband ran out and bought a twenty dollar remote, Low and behod two nights later the remote fairy strikes and poof, the newly purchased remote is gone. After desperately searching for the new remote at the break of tears not wanting to get up in the middle of a Cold winter’s night to change the station or turn the TV off, I had one of those “I wonder if” moments and just as I’d wished,, I found this free iPhone app remote for our television. Before I could think “too good to be true, the remote app was up and running and we didn’t even have to pre-program codes, it is already pre-programmed !!

So grateful!. Thank you thank you thank you!! Stupid LG magic remote works for everything except the enter button! Xfinity remote will only power on the tv. Lost the old remote. So happy to not have to pay exorbitant fees just to have an app on my phone! After downloading 4 different apps, finally found this one that my older tv recognized as the “right” remote!

Free is great and bought ad free. I lost my remote when moving and I tried 4 different remotes including the official LG one. This is the best of all and the ads are not as frequent or intrusive as the other apps with lower quality. I like how it just has the image of the controller so it’s like you are just using a virtual controller as it should be. Many apps will charge you up to $20 per year when the ad free version of this one is $3 permanently. Note since this uses WiFi you still need an infrared remote to turn the TV on and wake it up using volume controls when it goes to sleep. If you have a universal remote you can just program it to LG to do this. (I use the direct tv remote that was programmed to this TV)

Awsome. Ever sense I lost my Lg remote I downloaded this app which help me a lot with the tv. Also some times it didn’t work but i delete the app and do it all over again which is fun.

Garbage. The application continues to disconnect, with multiple pop ups with annoying sound, over, and over and over. Yes you have an option for payment but if you are not impressive while your trial shows your lack of integrity to provide a good service. Best of luck.

O. This app is ok when you first use it but after a week or so this app gets horrible the ads and everything won’t let you connect to the internet even though your connected and everything the app is just a waste if you think about getting it

Most intrusive ads I’ve ever seen. You know what would be great? If this app didn’t pop an ad up every 30 or so taps on the remote, causing my media playback on the TV to reset to the state it was out before I was trying to rewind. what’s worse is that, because you’re tapping quickly, you will accidentally open up the ad. Thanks to these relentless ads, it’s not worth even trying to use. Only reason it isn’t one star is because at least the core functionality works

The buttons don’t work. This app is okay in some cases like when at least some of the buttons work but lately only the the volume button and a few arrow buttons are working. The only ones I really need are the arrow buttons, the power button, the home button, and the OK button. Only some of the arrow buttons work and the volume is but that is all. It might just be a problem for me though. I haven’t read any reviews on this issue but all I know is that it needs to be fixed. I loose my remote very easily and this app would be way more helpful if this was solved.

I want my refund. This app works terrible. I thought it didn’t at first, so I decided to support the creator by buying the Ads thing. Right after doing that, the app literally stops connecting to my TV. What a waste of money, I want my refund. It won’t stop saying “connection attempt failed” even though my TV is in front of my wifi and both devices are connected to it.

Some buttons do the wrong thing. This remote looks exactly like the one that came with my tv. Pairing was easy. Unfortunately, the gear button opens the wrong menu, and the quick access buttons don’t do anything. And there is some really sneaky advertising going on. One tells me my iPhone’s memory is full. I need to click here in order to clean it now. Don’t do it. This message is not from Apple!

Have to directly connect to network???. I might be missing something, but this app is a waste. In my case, the blu-ray player has to be on the same network as the app on the phone. Who dedicates an independent hardwired connection directly to the network for a legacy blu-ray player? That’s absurd. I’m not going to worry with that, going backwards 10 years just so I can then access it from my phone. I imagine doing what people really want from an app like this and the millions of pointless duplicates is hindered by protocols or something, but there’s got to be a better way. I want to connect it with HDMI and then be able to control the device from my phone and access it like any other components (sound bar, TV, AppleTV, cable, Roku). Is that not possible? Maybe not considering the concept of a truly universal smart phone remote app, though desperately wanted, seems to be unattainable though people keep downloading things like this which infer they do something similar in a technologically relevant way. They do not.

Amazing. I love this app because it works perfectly fine I deleted it for more space on my iPad but I downloaded it back because I lost the control and the key finder but it’s ok because this app helps me out a lot I recommend this

Best lg remote app out there. This is hands down the best one I’ve used. When my daughter lost our remote I tried about 6 other apps and had to delete them right away. They would go to a commercial as soon as you would press one button and that was just crazy and you couldn’t use it but this app even lets you pick the remote that you had previously and it has all the exact same buttons. Perfect. Does have ads but you can click out of them.

Best lg remote app. I am trying hard to control my entire house with my iPad and I’ve tried a ton of tv remote apps this is by far the best I have ever used it is specific to lg with the smart remote but if you have a tv that uses that this is the app to use

Too many Ads!!!!. It’s so frustrating to be using the remote and get constantly interrupted by ads! Also you can’t even turn the tv on with the remote app and it has to be connected to WiFi to work. Then sometimes it doesn’t even work so you have to close completely out of it and reopen it . This app made me want to order a real remote for my tv just so I didn’t have to use it anymore . Horrible.

I get that it’s free but it’s really flakey..... After using it will try to reconnect, do so, but leave up a “reconnecting” dialog so you can’t use it and need to quit the app. This is a multi step process because it doesn’t remember your TV so you have to go through brand selection and reconnection repeatedly. Suggestion to the developer. I only have one TV, please remember it and fix your networking code to be a little more robust. Also not a fan of the “photo of remote” as it gives no feedback I don’t know if I hit the button or not.

Remote feedback. Comes with adds that pop up all the time. It drains your life and is annoying and they only allow you to remove it by paying a fee. Joke.

Works ok but…. The buttons seem to work ok. Couple of minor irritations 1/ if you select the wrong remote skin , the only way I could find to change it was delete the app and start again. 2/ the on screen view the on/ off button is top of screen under the app top banner. I cannot scroll the screen to get access to it. Can toggle power with the drop-down menu 3/. The “ hold button down” quick select doesn’t seem to work Otherwise works ok.

Look no further - Fantastic app + free, no data collected AND only $4.99 to remove ads. This app is awesome. I’ve got a Bluetooth issue with my LG TV which renders the air mouse/movement of my remote inoperable and results in not being able to exit a program or show. As it’s a hardware issue it would be an expensive fix, requiring a call out from a TV technician. This app has enabled me to get around the problem quickly, easily and with no cost 😊 I’d like to personally thank the developer. It’s so rare these days for developers to supply a fully functioning app without collecting data and/or to have a reasonable and affordable charge to remove ads. I just saw a competing app which charges $8.99 per week for access!!!! Job well done & it’s much appreciated.

Easy to use - functional - has a lot of extra features not just privy to a remote control like casting and having all the apps you use to stream at the top of your chosen remote control on the app. Best $4.99 also I ever spent to get lifetime access of no ads - no monthly subscriptions like some of the other remote apps that are insane and not as good as this one! Not worth it. Can’t turn the TV on with the remote. Ads keep popping up.

Suggestion. I love this app however it needs a Joystick whenever we use air Mouse to make it more easy to operate with one hand.

A long ways to go. Way too many ads come out of nowhere while your in the middle of using the controller and it always disconnects anytime you put your phone aside. This is all without mentioning how complicated it is to link the phone to the TV. Compared to the Roku phone app, this has a long ways to go before it can be considered handy or convenient.

Making random credit card charges. I downloaded the app and everything was good till I realized that I had gotten random credit card charges. I had immediately canceled my credit card and deleted the app

Sneaky pop-up adds. Giving 2 stars because the app worked well for the 20 seconds I used it. I got a full screen pop-up add a few seconds into using it WHILE NAVIGATING with the arrow buttons. The app is designed to get sneaky add clicks, so I removed it immediately.

Ads are horrible. Great remote. Ads fill the screen randomly leaving you to tap the ads while trying to use any button.

App shouldn’t request location. The app needs local network access to function, not location services. It has no legitimate reason to request location services, and the explanation given in the app is nonsense.

Pretty good remote. Like the fact that you have remote look a like options . It’s such a good app and everything works volume and all and I didn’t have to buy features in order to use I love it

Lg tv. Won’t connect to tv and your instructions are not valid. It says there is not a tv present and I don’t have a wired connection which your instructions are pointless when I did everything I should have. I guess this is something you aren’t showing in reviews that I looked at. Uninstalling

Extremely Spammy. Everyday you’re guaranteed to accidentally click on spam ads that cover the entire phone screen on accident. It’s like every 10-15 taps a huge spam ad will pop up out of nowhere and will take you to a website which is too risky because how do we know if it’s a virus? Worst remote app I’ve ever downloaded. I highly DO NOT RECOMMEND!

All the ads!!!. It’s impossible to get to the channel you want through all the pop-up ads. There are other apps that will work better and easier!

It’s works…..sometimes. It takes a couple tries to authenticate. Sometimes it doesn’t detect my device at all but when it does works, it’s pretty straightforward easy no thrills.

Ughhh I can’t delete this stupid app!!!!!!!. I downloaded this app and decided to not use it after all but when I went to delete it, it was nowhere on my phone. It’s not even in my settings!!!!! It only says open in the App Store. I already tried restarting my phone and everything. Someone please help!!! And do me a favor and don’t download this app. I am extremely upset. :(

Commercial interrupts use of remote. Advertisement pops in when in use of remote. Maybe change to before flipping channels or after.

Works great as LG Magic Remote. I especially love the Air Mouse feature that mimics the remote by using the phone's G-Sensor/Gyroscope. More apps should opt for this!!!

Way too many Ads. It’s a remote developers… don’t need a pop up ad every 10 seconds when trying to navigate which completely kills it’s purpose. You have a static/permanent ad at the bottom. How many ad dollars y’all getting? Christ man.

Remote on phone. This is very helpful. I wish it did not have to authenticate every time I open it.

Works Ok. I constantly have to close the app to get it to work and now I can't even get it to sync with my tv. Looking for another option. I paid the fee so I didn't have to deal with the adds but not really worth it. The app needs work.

Power function is broken. I connected and found tv in WiFi. Entered in MAC address, checked and saved. Verified power on is enabled in mobile power management settings and it doesn’t power on... I did get a pop up ad though that made me immediately uninstall since it didn’t work anyways.

Wont stay connected. While this remote does detect my tv, after being idle for a period of time, I have to force close and reopen to reconnect in order to do anything. If you use to simply go to a certain channel or not in a hurry to adjust volume, it works great.

My remote is lost. I got this remote app because I lost my remote. But now that I got your app, I can’t use it because it won’t let me go straight to the remote. I need to use the remote that I lost to be able to program my TV to use your app. I need help because your App is driving me crazy please help me.

Hate the ads. Works great but it’s so annoying that ads pop up at such inconvenient times.

Doesn’t connect and appear.. It doesn’t connect and when I hit refresh, it still doesn’t. Pretty much useless. That’s the biggest bug on this. It’s so frustrating!!!

Horrible app. Buttons don’t work properly and they ask for information that they don’t need like your location, plus the ads are very intrusive. would never recommend 👎

So far so good. Download the sad because my dog had chewed up my remote so far it’s working so good I hope it keeps up there the easy use

Still showing ads after payment. I am glad I found this App. My dog is on his 7th chewed remote in a week! I paid the one-time fee to remove ads, but it is still showing them. That’s a bit of a disappointment.
