Too slow but good. It’s commands are very slow to register so I try to use my remote

Useless. Gotta use a remote to connect my phone absolutely useless in a situation where if you don’t have the remote for the fire stick u could use this as a back up unless you have the(original) fire stick remote and at that point how useful is this app when i have a remote

Ads. I like how it works but the only thing is that how long it takes to connect to the Tv and the ads

It works... I guess. You need to press a button on the actual remote to turn the fire stick on, then connect it, then it works 🤦🏽‍♂️ doesn't work without actual remote.

Yes download. This app works and saves money. 10/10 recommended

Power button. Wish there was a power button.

Remote less. I wouldn’t need this if my actual remote were working. Still can’t use this because the remote is needed to allow access to this app

Easiest and most reliable. Out of several, I found this one to be most user friendly and pleasant substitute for the physical Firestick remote that crapped out. It stays connected to the Firestick, even when unexpected and my favorite thing is that the app looks just like the physical remote AND it might actually be my old remote as theirs appears to have a cat hair and some scratches. Thanks for the reliable and authentic version I will enjoy continuing to use.

Great App. I lost for a while my remote control, but I could install the application and worked great…

Great app works as intended. This is a great app for someone who misplaced their fire stick controller and desperately needs an alternative.

Works!. I actually gave a crappy review, but after trying it again it works just like the remote - once it connects. I guess my issue is with the fire stick itself, not allowing me to pause, rewind not fast forward. Sorry I have a shtty review in such haste. Hopefully this makes up. I recommend turning on vibrate so you know it accepts the input.

Firestick remote. The ads could improve but also I don’t like how long it takes to onnect but overall it’s fine

It Works, but...... Once you connect to your fire tv, there’s a 3 second lag after you tap on the remote app to navigate. You know it takes a few taps to get where you need to go. Those 3 seconds add up 😠

Wow. Batteries to the actual remote died so I wondered if there was a virtual remote. Expected this not to work, very surprised this actually did. A little bit delayed after an input but functions how it should. Why this does this not have any reviews is beyond me. 5/5

Connecting terrible take too long needs improvement. Very slow it always has hard time connecting takes too long too connect i recommenced to just never use it it is very disappointing.

Not able to connect. Sometimes the app will not let u connect to your device you have to turn device off then back on for it to work. Very Annoying

Good app but .... delayed commands and why not just make the buttons more accessible instead of having to scroll. Also we should be able to control our volume from our phone.

Didn’t work at all. This did not work at all. I tried several times but it did not work. It connected but it froze everything’s no and didn’t work. The last time I tried it didn’t even show my Firestick and it showed random ones we didn’t even have. I do not recommend.

Fire Remote. It would be great if it didn’t have to load every time and hate the advertisements.

Not even close. It took forever to get it to connect. There is a picture of my remote but nothing works. No swipes or taps or voice. There is a spot to type but what am I supposed to type. It’s a ridiculous waste of time.

Doesn’t work. I downloaded this app to control my fire stick and it only worked for a few hours after that it didn’t. It always said to check my connection but there’s is nothing wrong with my connection, i keep downloading it and it still doesn’t work. Don't download this just use your actual remote don’t waste your time trying this on your phone also don’t believe the “good” reviews.

Worth the Download!. I saw another user complain about having to scroll down the screen for another button, and I thought that petty. The fact is, we (the downloaders of this app) have lost, or continue to lose our remotes. Thus we end up downloading something like this, and let me tell you- if having to scroll down is the only thing worth complaining about, I’ll take it and gladly scroll. This app has recently been updated since that review 2 years ago. I love the “media” version of the control. In fact, I like that you can change the type of remote. Both versions are functional with good quality and little to no advertisements.

Needs a lot of improvement. App constantly crashes you can’t use this app and do other stuff on your phone and come back to it. Once it starts reconnecting you have about a 25 percent chance that it will actually connect and on top of that trying to get it to sync with the tv is a headache of its on most days I have to close the app repeatedly just to get it to find and connect to my tv

Haha you need the remote to use this. Do you really think someone that still has the fire stick remote is going to get this app just for fun of loading up their phone with more apps? I lost my remote, just like everyone that comes here. No one is going to just think it’s cool to have Phone app that’s light years slower than the real remote. People lose the thing and need an app. What a joke

Works. My actual controller is not working & this app connected to the fire stick, but since my controller isn’t working I’m not able to press “Allow USB” to be able to actually connect 😢

Don’t bother. I read the first few reviews gave it a chance and was disappointed. You can’t use this app with out the actual remote . My thing is if I have my remote why would I need this app so frustrating

It’s okay... It shut down frequently & there are many ads. More annoyingly, it just exits itself out randomly and you have to wait for to be reconnected every time you reopen the app.

Gets the job done. Takes a while for commands to register and having to scroll down your screen to click on buttons like home is really annoying I mean why not make the remote smaller so it all fits on your screen at once but overall it works and gets the job done

Ehhh. So it looked fine at first but the part that confused me was that there was this video for the instructions and it required a fire stick remote to connect it wich l downloaded this app because I could not find my remote and lm sure most people downloaded this app for the same reason.

THE BEST APP EVER👍. Love it! I love the fact that it works without wi-fi (internet!!) well you have to have either one wi-fi or hot spot, in my case I only have hot-spot and it works great!! Thank you to the people who made this app!! For people like me who only has hot-spot!!! 🥹

Horrible. Wish I could give it a negative star!. No instructions. Won’t connect. Shows multiple devices but no way of knowing which is the one you need to use, although after trying all of them (and there were about 10!) none worked! Terrible application.

You have to have your original remote.. In order to turn on the option to use this app you have to have your original remote. Which kind of defeats the purpose.

Waste of time and money!. Downloaded app, paid one time fee to get rid of ads, kept saying close app and reopen to remove ads after payment over and over. Waited over an hour while it was “connecting” to my Fire device...never able to connect and use.

Useless. Doesn’t make sense to download this if you have lost your remote. It wants you to turn on a feature under settings, however I do not have a remote to do that with. So I cannot use this “remote”

Slow Response. The graphics are lifelike and the remote does work. However, the slow response when a key is pressed is very annoying to the point you don’t want to use the app. If the developer improves the response time this app would definitely deserve a 5 star rating.

Alexa. The Alexa button that’s no work be nice is it work the con toll works really good that’s the only problem wit the control

Garbage. I downloaded this cause I need a remote to work my fire stick. It wants me to use my remote which I don’t have to set it up so I can use this app. If I had my remote I wouldn’t download your garbage app!!!

Please take away adds. My remote for my fire stick so I was so excited that it was this app I love it it’s just too many ads pop up in the middle of trying to type

Control 5 Fire sticks. Works well and switches between each unit. Able to edit the names to make it easy

It does work you guys. So I read the reviews lol and was skeptical but yes it does actually work when it says your supposed to be on the same WiFi hit the little black refresh button under your WiFi name. When you do that it should pull up your “*your name* firetv” click on it and a picture of the fire stick will pop up use that to control it

Works great. This one is free and the advertisements are barely noticeable ....first three I downloaded end up being a scam that would cost monthly fees

Annoying. Too many flaws with this app. One, it has to reconnect to Firestick every time your screen locks or you exit the app. Two, it sometimes doesn’t connect to the Firestick even though it is connected to WiFi. Third, the most annoying of all, it takes FOREVER for the commands from the remote to connect to the Firestick. It takes minutes to search for a title and scroll to find a movie!!

Yeah. So I lost my fire stick controller. And I ordered a new one and thought this could work in the meantime. But in order to use this first you have to go into the fire stick settings and do some stuff. Which I can’t do. Bc I have no remote to do it. So yeah.

I wouldn’t download this app ever AGAIN. I downloaded this app because I lost my fire stick remote and every time I try to connect the app with my tv it says unable to connect and a whole lotta other numbers I would rather buy another remote

Common sense!. I can’t install the stupid thing to connect to my Firestick because I can’t find the tiny remote for the thousandth time & if I had the remote I wouldn’t need to put it on my phone in the first place! So maybe make a remote bigger than a freaking pack of gum or at least put a locator on it.

Fire stick remote. It took a lot of refreshing before I finally got the name of my fire stick to come up and then it took several tries to get it to connect to my fire stick but I never could actually get the remote to work.

Worked poorly, would not connect to firestick, and caused my iPad to restart. The app would find the firestick on the network with no issues, but would not connect, and caused my iPad to restart twice. Deleted 5 minutes after downloading.

Suuuucks. This app completely sucks it’s wouldn’t connect or anything the layout of the app wasn’t too bad but it just kept saying it wouldn’t connect and also I have way too many devices. The point is I deleted it within 5 minutes so ya do NOT get this app they just scam your money. Hahaha I tried to use the username “one unsatisfied user” it was taken.

Not working for me. Remote keeps saying my Firestick needs to be connected To the same Wi-Fi as the phone however I cannot connect the fire stick if I cannot access the fire stick remote through my phone.

Not good at all. One day it’s working, the other day it’s not. And when i press a button it takes 3 seconds for it to act on it.

Useless. If you’re using this because you lost your remote it’s useless. You have to use your remote to allow this app to work on your tv.

Didn’t work. I lost my Firestick remote so I tried this app. It wanted me to change a setting on my Firestick to use this app, but I can’t change anything without the Firestick remote. Catch 22! I gave up and deleted it. Don’t bother.
