This whole thing is a scam, DO NOT PAY FOR THIS. We really live in a world where a universal remote app is trying to charge people $6 per WEEK to use, you’d be paying the same price for this app in a month as you would just getting a new TV remote, these types of apps were free to use 3-4 years ago when I last used one, why are we choosing to sell out in such a horrendous way? The free trail they offer lasts a whole 3 days, that’s nothing lol. Terrible app please don’t use or download this if you have common sense

Worked instantly!. Worked right away for me which is a relief since the other two I tried were useless. Since I misplace my remote nearly once a day, thanks for developing this easy to use remote. Btw, my sister gave me my tv and it must be a generic one since I don’t see a brand name anywhere. But, I have a ROKO connected and watch shows through that and also a decent antenna connected so I can pick up local channels to watch Philly sports or the news and the remote works with both.

Finally a FREE remote app!. I spent hours searching for remote apps and every one I found was charging some sort of subscription or life time fee ranging from $6 a month to $30 lifetime which is crazy when you consider a physical remote costs literally $5. It’s nice to see not all devs are just looking for a quick cash grab.

Need some updates. It’s good, but it does need some updates like having to pay for certain things but it’s not a rip off. It’s not it’s very very good because it’s not you know you know like you don’t have to pay for anything. It’s not it’s not bad. I really like this app. You could try it because you don’t need to sign up or anything so I would definitely recommend it.

Amazing app, one downside. I absolutely love this app, i lost my remote months ago and it’s so stressful however this app is so easy and on the phone, however when one person connects to it, for another person to connect they have to delete and redownload the app, meaning if my mom uses the tv and uses her phone, i need to redownload the app for it to connect to my phone!

Awesome!!!. I never use my remote since I use Roku. When I connect my Bluetooth headphones to my TV, I had to grab the remote just to click YES. It was so frustrating that I searched for alternatives for my phone to click YES. Those other apps either made you wait for an ad or purchase a subscription for $8.00 a month. Then I found this app and it does everything without fees. Thank you for the app.

This is my first time writing a review !. This app is one of the best apps out there , I lost my controller to my tv and ever since that I wasn’t able to find it but now that I have this app it has saved a bunch of time , it also isn’t like the others apps asking for money all the time when you just press one button , it’s really good and I really recommend it if you don’t have a controller.

Impressed in the beginning. As I stated, I was very impressed with the app in the beginning. After the first week I was unable to use the app. I received a message stating my TV was not available for use on the platform. Ok, I had clearly been using with success, and; I was also pleased with the app as a whole. I will still give the app some accolade by providing a 4 star rating; however, it would have been a 5. Thanks at any rate.

Excellent. This is my first time leaving an official review on anything I had to download four different remote control apps before I found this one. It’s the only one that is free every other app try to charge you crazy prices like seven dollars a week it instantly connected to my super box and I’ve been happy ever since. Thank you guys for this app.

Me personally. I personally think that this is the best app ever espacviky bc my remote is broken it gets the job done before I found this app I couldn’t watch tv for so long like a year okay that’s a hyperbly but suriously this is he best app ever I can not explain why just try it out five stars all the way at this point 100 the one thing bad about it is you cant turn the tv on with it but no problem there is a button on the tv for that

I would gladly pay you a small fee for use of your app or to have additional feature like the ability to input text or change picture settings from the app. But I will continue using it because it is great. Honestly misleading. I’ve been using this for a few days which may be considered a while since people only use apps like these when losing their remotes for about a day or two. I thought it was too go to be true since most other apps ask for a payment immediately. This app was perfect at first, but now it’s asking me for a premium just to turn my volume up and down? It’s honestly a shame to give no hints to something like this and it’s going to be really annoying to have to scroll 30 minutes through the App Store again just to find a FREE app.

Super Easy and No hidden fees. Most remote apps want to charge you per week or per year. This remote app works wonderfully immediately connected to my TV. Don't have to be a tech person to set up. Works great when I lost my remote my grandson had misplaced it. It automatically scans all your smart TVs and lets you decide which one to connect you and starts working just like that.. I would rate it 10 stars if I could

Easy and Free!. My boyfriend’s TV remote suddenly stopped working and I was hoping to find a free remote control app without all the bells and whistles. This is PERFECT! All the apps and controls are there and it was so easy to connect to our Samsung. Did I mention it was FREE?? There’s a little ad at the bottom of the screen, but it doesn’t get in the way of anything. Many of the other apps offer a free trial, but then you have to pay like $7 a month for a freaking remote 🙄 This gets the job done until you can get another one, or you can stick with the app all together.

Saved my life. When my second Roku Hisense tv remote gave out I panicked because I couldn’t turn the tv down and it was sooo loud. So who else to ask in this desperate situation? The grandson lol. He told me about this app and he saved me from boredom and not being able to hear for a few hours lol. I luv this app and remote does exactly what my physical remote did.

Only Free One. All the rest make you buy a subscription to even use the remote don’t waste your time. This is the only one that allows you to use. It still has ads, but the others won’t even allow you to use it without purchasing. I’ve decided to make my free one as well, I’ll just make money off the revenue for ads

Useless if you lost your remote. I lost my remote . I literally can’t find it anywhere. I’m just trying to watch a little TV while I go to sleep tonight unfortunately, this app and the way it pairs requires me to give it access to my TV. A little screen pops up and asked if I will allow it . How are you supposed to do that when you don’t have the remote and your television has no physical buttons. Crazy all these amazing reviews, but there’s no ability to actually pair this with your TV if you don’t have a remote in your hand to allow it to pair.

Best University Remote. Honestly, I rarely write reviews. But I had to for this. This is the very best University Remote I’ve downloaded. I’ve downloaded many other but you were always forced to subscribe to which I ended up deleting the app, but this app is really completely free. It does have ads on the very bottom of the app, but it doesn’t get in the way of you controlling it. It’s also not like the other apps where it has pop up badge and you have to wait for it to be over in order for you to use it again so if you’re gonna download one, download this one, you can add multiple TVs, and they are not any issues.

Premium stinks. This once great free app introduced premium and no longer allows you to utilize the remote function without paying a weekly or annual fee ruining the experience and making this remote app no longer free. I understand them wanting to make money of this app but this is the wrong way to do it. They should offer the free remote they always have and then either make one time purchase remote upgrades to customize your remote the way you'd like and also include the subscription premium remote to give you access to all customizations. Upgrades to a basic remote could be the apps button, a touch pad, voice commands, button layout, different button styles/sizes. They could incorporate purchasable features and subscription incentives without forcing premium on the customers. Maybe an app referral system that allows small discounts on in app purchases if you refer other users could be cool too to bring in more people to the app. Do better you have options without forcing paid subscriptions.

I have never reviewed an app before. (Edit at the bottom, please read it) But this is the remote you’re looking for. Free, no annoying pop-up ads, just a little banner at the bottom. You don’t have to buy the upgraded features. You can type into the search bar, and hit the different tv apps without going to the Home Screen. This is the one you’re looking for. You won’t regret it See all that stuff I said that made this remote great? Now it’s trapped behind a paywall. Can’t even hit the power or home buttons without paying $20 a year. Basically you have the arrows, volume, and pause/fastforward/rewind. The hunt for a better remote begins… again…

Why do I have to pay just to low the TV down?. Hello creators of the remote control app. It would be nice if you got rid of the little payment thing because I can’t even low down the volume on my Dad’s living room TV. It doesn’t really make sense to pay just to low down the volume. Although, the app is pretty reliable but I can’t rely on paying just to low the TV down. So when I lost my remote I was like wait I should get this app because I can still use the tv with this so I downloaded this app and I’m like wait it’s not working… it was not connected to my tv so when I got it connected it was working so well! This app is not a scam at all I love it and now I use it all the time now. Whoever gets this app I hope u enjoy it cause I absolutely love this app so yea!🌹🌸🌺🏵

Truly free! Amazing!. After losing my bedroom remote I tried several remote apps from the App Store. I usually do not leave reviews unless I am extremely disappointed or very impressed. Well I am blown away that not only is it 100% free with no annoying ads or telling you to upgrade so I am honestly surprised as you rarely see that anymore, they always h I have tried all the other so called free remotes and they have trials and pop ups. thank you for the best and easiest to use remote app!

Best one I have found. I have tried several apps and this is the best one I have found. I have also found that if there are blips it's usually the older tv. But I have it set to work with two TVs are my home and two at my bf. It works well. I had a support issue once, and got a response to my email in hours with a fix and follow up. Highly recommend.

This app is really really amazing but. hello, this app is a really really amazing app seriously, but however since 3 days ago my remote was not really working everytime I tries to turn my TV up or turn it or just do anything with the remote it won’t work this was happening to few of my family members and there’s were doing the same this also, I don’t know if you guys had an update or whatever but my remote is not working seriously. So if you guys can fix it take your time and fix this app. Thank you so very much.

Only for smart TV connected to your wifi network. Did not work on the TV I need a remote for. The TV is a Sceptre LCD tv, not the smart version. The original remote can now only turn on and off the tv, and hust turn the volume up (not down). So I needed a replacement. So many other apps need a subscription! I’m willing to pay for an app that’s good. But a subscription? No way. I downloaded this app because reviews mentioned it’s not asking for a sub. Once I opened the app, it asked permission to access the network to find devices. I allowed it. Unfortunately, it only scanned the smart tvs, and fire sticks we’re using (it did not see the apple TV). Since the TV I intend to use it for is not connected to the network, there’s no way I can use this app. Please add in the description that it’s only for smart tv so it won’t waste people’s time. I will keep the app, maybe someday I may have a use for it. Thanks for having the free app for me to try.

But this app is definitely worth it as of now its not asking for any money unlike those weekly payments apps and the connection was flawless with my hisense saved me a big headache dealing with a bad remote Update sep 30, 2023 Now app will not work soon as it connects to hisense tv it force stops the app it was 5 stars when it worked Update November 16 and it is working fine again for hisense

It’s better than the other one. There’s this other app that you have to pay a premium to turn up your volume, this does it for free also, my dogs keep on stealing my remote’s and this is the perfect job of replacing that, they haven’t stolen peoples phones since they were puppies they have grown, but not grown enough to not steal remotes, also having a baby as well that steals your remotes, it’s really annoying, but this solves all the problems except for when my baby steals my phone.

Great. Easy to Use. Works with all TV’s. Great app. My dogs like to take remotes and hide them. Between my kids and me constantly, we are playing find the remotes. More me losing them than kids. My husband is the finder, a job he is glad to give up. Works with all 6 smart TVs and one with a Roku. So no more looking for remotes. All are accounted for now, but I highly recommend downloading this universal remote. For some reason, now that we all have this app installed on our phones, we don’t lose remotes. To be fair, my kids never lose their remotes. It’s mainly me and the dogs. Hope this review helps. Only have two of the same tv’s throughout the house and works on all.

BEST APP EVER. This remote seem like it would be like the rest that you had to pay for but this app was completely free and I mean it when I say free I haven’t come across one thing that you could pay for the whole app was free and you won’t have to pay to get the entire remote. This was the best remote app ever thank you to this develop that made this app because you are the absolute best and now I can finally watch my TV in peace even though I lost my remote. this ain’t no ad you have to watch that lies to you no, I haven’t hid one thing so if you’re someone that’s looking at the reviews to see if they want it, you sure need this because there is not one thing that you can pay for it’s all free and they have apps they got every control free and there’s a Settings button button and it was not even 30 seconds before I was connected to my tv and I am so glad I downloaded this app. so first thing that happens when you get on the app is you click one of the buttons on the remote and it asks map locations to help connect your TV and they search the area and you have to have your TV on for at least 30 seconds and you have to be connected to WiFi in order for it to work and it immediately got the TV. I was looking for the name of the TV and the IP address and when you click it you hold your phone near the TV and it works and that’s it no paying involved at all. FIVE STARS

Why is Power suddenly behind a paywall?. I’ve been using this for a few months now. It was really good, because the OEM LG remote insists on using “Magic Remote” mode, which turns it into a cursor following where you point (a really horrible feature that can’t be turned off). When I used it today, however, it will no longer allow me to turn the TV off with it. It just brings up a “Pro” subscription solicitation. I’m not going to pay you $20 a year for the privilege of turning off my TV. Before tonight, I could use it to power off the set without issue. Had it required a subscription for using the power button when I was trying out remote apps, I wouldn’t have kept it in the first place. I’m willing to make one-time payments for features, but I will not pay a recurring fee for basic functionality.

Disappointment. I never write reviews for apps. This app use to be amazing. But far the best app for a remote control. Minimal ads at the bottom of the remote, full FREE functional remote, and was very simple to use. Didn’t sometimes disconnect from my WiFi? Yes, but that was okay because it was a free app and easy to reconnect. Seemingly over night, you must pay for “Pro Access” in order to utilize the volume and channel function. Volume and channel buttons are the most basic parts of a remote. I understand if the owners want to make more money and have a pro access option with special features. But now this remote app is pointless for me to use. Will be deleting the app. I’d rather just use a physical remote at this point. Disappointed!

Paywall. This app used to be fantastic, but greed completely ruined it. What was once a simple, free, and convenient way to control my TV has now been locked behind an absurdly overpriced subscription model. Seriously, who thought it was a good idea to charge people a recurring fee just to adjust their volume? It’s not like this is some groundbreaking service that requires constant updates or maintenance—it’s a basic remote control! I’d be more than happy to pay a reasonable one-time fee, but expecting users to subscribe for something so simple is nothing more than a blatant cash grab. It’s incredibly frustrating to see yet another app go down this road, prioritizing profit over user experience. I refuse to support this kind of predatory pricing, and I’ll be looking for better alternatives that don’t nickel and dime their users for basic functionality.

do i hafto icksplan. So basically, with a click of a finger, I could just hook it up to my TV, and I could watch whatever I have on my TV. I can also play the games that I have on my TV, and that's just by a click of a button, super simple, yet super easy. I love this app and and most importantly is all FREE! and I'm not lying when I say this is literally the most useful app

Love it!. Would give it a 10 star rating if i could was a little skeptical of it at first. Been using it for a little over a month now. My dog ate the tv remote and it was 4 days tell payday so i was slightly annoyed to say the least. Absolutely love this app got it on my personal phone the tablet kids have it on theirs as well the wife has even downloaded it. So much easier than the dog eating the remotes and having to buy 4 new ones every week. For the record dog is a pure breed black lab nothing is safe from the chewing.

Completely Free!!. If you can get it to work with your tv then it is a must have over any other app for tv remote because unlike the other ones this app is actually free without must have in-app purchases. It works all the time, it never disconnects. I use it every day. Never had a problem so far and iv been using for about a month.

They charge you 24 hrs later for the Supposed Free Trial with Extreme Run arounding the Bush when it Comes to any form of Cancellation contact. Next thing you know is you have to call your Bank To Cancel your Card, and File the subscription under Unauthorized Charges W/ Your Bank (which are valid yet take forever to receive your refund and money owed if you provide proof they made and or make it impossible to be reached.) 3rd- IT’s REALLY FREE No Lies so far. It’s Not a “Supposed Free Trial “ where they Lure You in with Free Trial Lies! TRY THIS APP 1st! Fantastic Remote for LG Smart OLED TV. So I ended up misplacing my original remote to navigate my TV during an important incoming call. Out of desperation I needed a remote app that would not charge me monthly fees or such until I am able to locate original remote. Surprisingly, I came across this developer who does not seem to charge anything and to my amazement it works wonderfully! It has a section for volume control (even worked with sound bar set-up) and a universal cursor to fast forward, rewind or use to enter passwords and such. On top of that, there is a section on this app where you can pull up all your TV apps and you select which app you want to use. Pairing to the TV was very easy, which shocked me since I am not gadget savvy; took only seconds to pair. I still have yet to find that remote but this app works just fine! Highly recommend!

Amazing find! Amazing app!!!. You know how you never find the remote when you’re in a hurry to watch something very important. Well, now you don’t even have to look for the remote. Just use your phone and you good to go. I loved this the very moment I downloaded it. I have deleted a few remotes apps on my phone because they were charging exorbitant amount for weekly subscription. Yeah, I am exaggerating with the exorbitant bit but you know what I mean. Why should I be paying almost the same price as a streaming subscription just to access a remote app for my tv on the phone? Make the price affordable and everybody will get it. And if these guys ever decide to start charging for the remote; I hope they offer a lifetime subscription where I can purchase for good and not to only be offered weekly and monthly offers. Still, this is the best offer available. And it’s FREEEEEEEEE. So what are you waiting for? [[Many months down the line]] Well, these guys have started to charge for the remote and guess what? They are doing the same mistakes as the other guys. They do not offer a lifetime purchase. Why will I keep buying an app for $20 every year? Where’s the sense in this guys? Time to stop using this and buy 50 remotes at home. I gave 5-stars a few months ago. Now it’s just one.

PERFECT APP W/NO ADS!!!!!. I don’t know what happened, but all of a sudden every single Roku tv remote app has decided to make their apps absolutely useless due to their ridiculous amount of ads that take over the remote every 8 seconds. I could be in the middle of rewinding or turning the volume DOWN and a slew of ads come on, making the remote obsolete until they decide to give you control back…unless you pay for premium app. Seriously??? It’s an app to control a smart tv, it’s not an app that’s making me money or curing Covid. I must have 12 remotes downloaded on my phone that I Erik now be deleting thanks to this app! Also, it picked up both my tvs immediately when I opened the app and then connected instantaneously. Thank you guys so much for making an app that works perfectly, but also one that doesn’t take away my ability to use the remote every 8 seconds for ADVERTISEMENTS! Your app is awesome!

Honest review. Best remote I’ve found, it’s free, works with many different brands, and is all in all the best remote I’ve found for free. The only thing I would change is sometimes it will say the tv is not compatible but has connected many times before so I have to re-download the app and it works perfectly again. That and how quick it re-connects.

It’s cool. This app is actually super cool. I had downloaded a bunch of other apps before this one trying to find a remote for my lg tv but I just couldn’t find one that actually worked and wasn’t payed for. I’m not old enough to actually pay for stuff that I don’t need so I was looking for a free one similar to my Roku app for my Roku tv and this is definitely the one.

A BIG NO FOR ME!. This app used to be the best free TV remote out there. It connected quickly, had simple controls, and worked like a charm when I couldn’t find my actual remote. But now? They’ve locked basic features behind a paywall and made it almost unusable unless you subscribe. Why should I have to pay to use my phone as a remote? It was fine the way it was — no extra features added, just a sudden switch to paid. Greedy move. There are better free options out there that still get the job done without charging you for something that should be free. Save your money and look elsewhere.

Scam, this app wouldn’t be worth spending money on if it only cost 1¢. I’ve had this app for months now and it was fine. Nothing to write home about, but it served its purpose well and for free which was it’s only upside now overnight out of nowhere, I am required to pay for the “premium” version, which, as far as I can tell is exactly the same as it was for free before, I understand, having a more advanced version of the app that you reserve for paying customers, but I don’t see any reason to remove the free option completely and I know that there is a free trial even if it lasted forever I still see no reason I should be required to give you my card information as far as I can tell, they made no improvements to the app only decided to start calling at “premium” and charge people money for it and in my opinion, this app wouldn’t be worth spending money on if it cost 1¢

Read!. I love this you don’t have to buy anything and it doesn’t constantly nag you about anything or everything it’s very nice smooth but I would rather it have a couple more options. Just a quick tip for those who isn’t working tap multiple times if it says the device isn’t supported if it doesn’t work after three Taps then you should recommend in a rating to get it available. I love it. I was very upset with my remote broke and I couldn’t find a good app until now I very much enjoyed this and I 10 out of 10 recommend it.

I lost my remote. Every single time I lost my remote or I dropped my remote my remote stop working and I download this app so I can use my phone to control the TV and it’s been so much better than using my TV remote sometime my remote glitch and come back the next day and I want and I wanna use my remote every single day so that doesn’t make any sense that just use it one day and then don’t use it the other day or just use it for a half an hour like come on in this app help me so much thank you guys for creating this app. Thank you.

Fantastic!!. The connection was so simple. I think it took about four seconds and it’s the only one that does not have a ton of stuff attached to it like fees and trials and ads popping up everywhere. I’m so happy to have a volume button again and not have to speak to the remote every time.

New Tech for Old Schoolers!!!🥳. I always lose the remote so this app has really been a blessing in disguise for my family. It’s really quite simple to use. Download the app, link your TV and start watching. Love it. I lost my remote a year ago and hadn’t bothered replacing it with a physical one so I paid for a year subscription for another app remote, the year trial came up and they wanted $20 for another year. It would disconnect constantly and lag. I gave this app a try and it’s miles beyond the capability of the one I paid for, you can type out your searches instead of toggling through the alphabet. The ad isn’t even noticeable. I have a Phillips 4k smart TV and it works perfectly.

Have to pay now. This app was the best free remote but now cost money for most everyday features. Its so easy to download another free app instead of paying for this one id recommend just doing that. Really going to loose the user base for some petty cash. Could have implemented subscription in another way but decided to go for a money grab. Was a great app, now just another susbcription.

Pretty Please add Kogan tvs. It was working great for about 6 months but all of a sudden stopped because my tv isn't compatible. I am begging you, please add whatever you need to make a kogan tv work all other apps make you pay to use a remote 🙏🙏. If you allow kogan tvs to work I will be your biggest ambassador, I will stop at nothing to make sure everyone knows about your fabulous app.

Good for short term. Was good at first after a few weeks loose access to most features if you don’t pay can’t turn it off change volume use keyboard basically only press ok arrows and back also disconnects from the tv if you leave the app for a minute connecting always errors a few times before it allows me to connect again

I’ve had this app for a while now and it’s been an amazing app since i cant use my remote however the new “premium” service where i cant even turn up or down my volume without paying for it is very annoying and ridiculous. I shouldn’t have to pay to adjust my volume and if you cannot pay the 8$ AUD A WEEK then don’t download this app

Works Perfectly!. Every other app wanted to charge me, but this one works beautifully and is free. Make sure your tv is connected to wifi/internet, and make sure your phone is connected to the same wifi/internet before trying to connect. Enjoy watching! 😁✨

Removes features over time. Started off decent enough, but after about a month of using the app it actually stripped away features and put them behind a pay wall. When I started I could change the volume, channel and turn the tv off; only to find out those features had been made pay-to-access and I couldn’t use the app like I had been. Wouldn’t recommend

Great remote. Our remote died today so after ordering a new one I went looking for an app. The paid ones wanted so much money with no trial period. Then I found this gem, it has everything thing I need to control my LG tv plus you can also access all your streaming apps. 10 out of 10 from me.

Why is there now costs?. Tell me why I’ve had this app for over 6 months now and there’s never been any sort of costs associated and then this morning I open it to find you’re not making it a subscription? No communication whatsoever to users, just slap a fee on it. What a joke.

Not working for some brands. From what I hear this app is working really well for some people. But one improvement is that they should make more devices usable with this app, I have a hitachi tv and it doesn’t connect.

Umm. Downloaded as my remote control power button has failed and the app worked amazing the first time , so excited I showed it to everyone. Come the next day and all of a sudden none of my devices “are compatible” somehow. Won’t connect to my tv or console like it did the night prior and now stuck with a useless app that’s doesn’t connect to anything. The app was great with no complaints when it worked but now it’s not compatible to anything.. why?

Keyboard doesn’t work. General remote functions work well, but the keyboard doesn’t work with searching in tv apps on my Samsung smart tv, which is the main reason to use the phone rather than the tv remote.

Was a great app!. I had this app for over a year with it working flawlessly for almost all functions with our Sony TV. Then the other night I went to turn the TV off through the remote and it won’t let me and I need to subscribe for $6.99 a month or some rubbish. So they can go stick there app up there butts!!! Not a happy customer at all!

Works until you have to pay. Remote will work but when u want to turn it off they make you do a subscription was excited to use and did do the subscription but not sure about it as you can’t use the menu button if your tv doesn’t use the aerial on your tv

So I’ve had this on my phone for a couple weeks now and it is phenomenal, like, it works really well, the only problem I have with it is sometimes, the remote just doesn’t work, like whenever I’m trying to change the volume, it just won’t work so yeah, maybe fix that bug but others wise, 5 stars!

Ads yes subscriptions no. Understand the ads for revenue and happy to watch/see the ads, but not paying for a remote when I have one, this was just a lazy option. So I will delete in one month if the premium requirement for basic remote functions is not removed.

Works Great No Subscription Needed !. I was looking for a universal remote app for my mom’s older Samsung TV, and I came across this one. This app works amazing… majority if not all the other apps wants you to pay for a subscription but this one works great without having to pay for a subscription hope this helps.

Why must i “connect” per use?. Why must be prompted to connect to a device EVERY SINGLE time I attempt to use this remote app? It’s ridiculous to do HAVE to do that step each time I want to use the remote. It’s frustrating, annoying, and disrupts my watching experience; not to mention, it’s absolutely unnecessary. It should only ask to connect once and keep it connected, unless the user purposely looks to choose otherwise. Please fix this frustrating problem.

Amazing 5 stars. You don’t need to pay weekly for it, one out of the 5 other ones I tried, this is the only free one highly recommend, you just need to go on your phone, select the tv WiFi and accept it on the phone. Amazing 5 out of 5 stars

Great!. Was gifted a Samsung TV with no remote, but luckily I found this app! Your TV will already need to be connected to the same WiFi as the app before you can use. But I was able to use a spare Samsung remote for our other TV to get connected and from there we have been using this app perfectly fine 👌🏾

Why I rated a 3/5. So at first, it was amazing and I could just be quick. I could just type on my keyboard and then like it started getting slower and slower. It would only work a couple days and then it would just stop and then like the remote itself was so confused. I just left my phone alone and then the app stopped working, so can someone tell me what happened?

Best free remote controller. I have been looking for my remote for days on end and I didn’t want to buy a new remote controller nor pay monthly for a remote application which is more expensive, I came across this application and it just works like a controller I don’t see the difference but it’s free.

Pay to turn my tv off????. So you know how they added premium and you get some features. One of those features is to power off a tv. I am not paying to turn my tv off.

Great bc it’s free, until the app doesn’t work. I had this app for a months then it suddenly with no warning stopped working. I deleted app then reinstalled and it still doesn’t work. I don’t want to pay a weekly subscription for anything that costs more than a remote I bought to replace my lost remote that doesn’t work on my tv. So not sure where to go from here, but there should be a warning that it will only work Free for a month.

Option Needed. My son and I both downloaded the app onto our phones, but only one of us at a time can use it. That means that if we’re watching a movie in which he dialed it in, and then he gets a phone call and leaves the room, I’m left with no way to adjust the volume or anything.

The best of the remote apps. This is so close to being perfect but I can’t get it to bring up my device settings to turn on a sleep timer. TCL 40S330 in case the devs want to get to it. Great experience. Nothing too intrusive. I’d honestly pay $12 for this instead of a replacement remote if it would just fix this feature.

Great first day then stopped second day after paying for subscription. Well it worked the first day. Second day I opened app I decided to get the year subscription it no longer worked.

Best remote free app. I have downloaded literally like 8 remote control apps and all where useless or you should pay they say its free and when you download its like 3 days free trial only. This is the only free useful working app on the market. Highly recommend

Works better than some others.. Like the apps button quite a bit. Fairly responsive! Amazing for free, our dog keeps eating remotes, after the 10th one I had to switch to only the app, this one has been great!

App Stopped Working. Usually works fine, but out of the blue says it’s my TV is not supported This happened a couple mo the ago and it took a few days to get it back, now it’s happening again. 3 stars because out of 6 months of use I only have issues sometimes (even if it does last for days)

Finally found a remote that doesn’t charge a fee!. I tried 5 other apps and they all wanted me to pay an annual fee, like WTH! This one worked much faster than the others and did exactly what I needed, turned up the volume lol

Don’t believe the reviews.. First off app is ok. Connects quickly to your tv as long as you allow it to from your tv set. So if you lost your remote this app won’t work for you. Secondly you have to pay for a subscription to use the volume control. The other controls work. Apps don’t work without a subscription so if you’re looking for that ability plan on paying for it. So again the reviews are garbage.

Best Free TV Remote. This app is excellent and free! The other apps would make you pay for the features you get for free on this app and I have a Samsung Tv and the remote broke and I obviously did not want to pay for another one and this app is a keeper I love it

It’s ok. This is the only remote app I’ve found without an insane subscription scam or horrendous pop up adds. My only problem is that it can be a little finicky with the volume controls. The mute button basically doesn’t work and if I volume down to 0 it won’t let me volume up again. If they could fix that (and add a landscape orientation) I’d rate 5 stars. Edit: They changed to a subscription model. I’ve uninstalled.

Free and Easy. We lost the remote and eventually replaced it. However until then needed a remote. Some require monthly subscription. No joke. This one is free. It works as should super easy. I recommend this one and you can trust me I am a tv owner👨🏿‍🦳

Useless now. I used this app for several months with no issues. I only use it to control volume and power. I tried to turn my volume down and was asked to pay for premium. I immediately deleted the app. The app is now $5 per week(along with other pricing options). I’m not sure why the developer made this decision, but maybe a one time $5 or $10 fee for the app would be more understandable.

Best app ever. I used this remote to prank my family and it worked so well and I can still use it to control my tv so this is also the best April fools prank. And it cost me 0.00$ but other apps need a subscription for the volume but this app is just perfect no ads no subscription no payment just a remote.

Awesome. It works flawlessly with my LG tv. It is even free with a small ad in the bottom of the screen that does not interrupt the app actions at all. I just wish the app had like an optional pay to remove add feature so we could have the whole screen just for the app. But in general, best remote app I’ve used so far.

Another greedy remote app.. In a different review, I reviewed them five stars, because unlike other apps, they didn’t have pop-up ads or require a subscription service, only for them two weeks after I posted that review, to become worse than what I was praising them for, not only did they do with all the other remote apps do, they put a pay wall over The Part to switch channels. If possible boycott this app, we can’t let corporations no matter how small they are to think that they can do this.

Good and bad. One most of the buttons require money to use them. Then my tv that I use is a Vizio and it would say you don’t have that one set up yet although it says on the app that you do. Although that problem it does let you use the arrow and ok button but that is mostly it. Sincerely, A confused person

Best remote app. My family keeps losing our tv remote and this app is a lifesaver. For one it actually works and it doesn’t try to trick you into a stupid subscription service (seriously what idiot is gonna pay to use a remote app) in order to use the app.

Wasn’t sure!. It wasn’t sure this remote would really work, Had some problems in the beginning once I got that worked out everything moved forward The remote does good at re-connecting when I need to use my phone or go somewhere and I return the remote is pretty good at reconnecting as my tv remote. Give it a good score it does really good.

Some aspects work, some do not. Perhaps it’s just my TV, but certain aspects of the remote don’t work, like the settings for example to adjust the color/sound etc. there’s a button for it but it doesn’t work. It’s nice for coming in clutch but doesn’t act as a full replacement as hoped

Read this!. Ok so this app is pretty good just for like everyday use, but there are a few downsides. There are always ads at the bottom of your screen and for some reason, the volume buttons don’t work for me. I haven’t used it long enough to see if there are ads or not. (Like the ones you have to watch) I guess it’s fine but there’s nothing really special about it.
