Top 3 of All Time. I love this game so much, and I’m really bummed that I’ve completed it. The puzzle topics were quite varied, and the difficulty level varied as well which I liked. Just when I was out of coins, I’d get the daily puzzle correct, or guess the mystery coin letter in a puzzle. I highly recommend this to anyone who wants a true word game rather than a spelling game.

Fun app. The puzzles are just challenging enough to keep you interested and not make you too frustrated. Coins are sometimes too hard to earn. More direction early on would have helped to know when and how to use. Just started daily puzzles and they seem fun as well. The hints in the beginning can be helpful without giving away too many clues

Fun, educational and sometimes head-scratching ... but. My wife and I have been playing this for years together and it has been lots of fun. Very sorry that the Daily Puzzles have stopped suddenly. They were a useful coin bonus. We had a reminder on our calendar to do them so we could keep our bonus at the max!

Love this game but.... I think this game is excellent and very clever the only thing is I wish you can opt to skip one of the categories. A couple of them I just don’t know. I do the New York Times crossword puzzle, And many different types of games, but this frustrates me and I stopped playing it because of that. There should be someway that you can move on even if you have to pay something.

World genius. Very mind searching but we have a problem when we ask an hint or to reveal the theme .they said they are correcting it ……they ask to. Heck if we are connected to Internet ,I am but did not see. The problem resolved

Absolutely my favorite. *EDIT* I am extremely disappointed that this app is no longer adding new puzzles. It seems the daily may end soon. This was a wonderful game that taught while being fun. This is a great app! I’ve learned, I’ve laughed and I’ve gotten frustrated but worked it out! It can be very hard in some puzzles, however so far I have found my way to finish every puzzle. I do like that you are able to go back and “redo” puzzles to get more genius cards. If you love crosswords, jigsaws, or any game app, I highly recommend this app. If you think you are really smart and like a challenge this is it. Think you’re not so smart, this helps you become smarter. This is definitely my favorite game, puzzle, app ever!

Finally giving up on what was once my favorite game. Originally gave a four star rating (see below) but now it has been several months since new categories have been added and this week, the daily puzzle has seemed to be discontinued. I have received no response from the support team. I’m giving up on what was once my favorite game. **Checked in this morning like I do every morning to play the daily puzzle and hope to see new categories added (it’s been weeks since a new category has been added.) To my dismay, today not even the daily puzzle is posted. There is an icon below the owl figure that says “daily puzzle.” When I click on that it says the daily puzzles are available but need to be downloaded. It says the puzzles can be downloaded but nothing happens when I try.**

Fun and Challenging. What I like about this game is I can just play and stop whenever. I don’t feel like I have to commit to a huge chunk of time to play so I can pop on just to do something for a few minutes or play for hours. I love the challenge, but hate when I’m stuck on a category I don’t really like. Also, takes forever to gain coins it seems.

Word Puzzle. If you get a category you are not familiar with, you will most likely have to move on, and of course it will cost you one way or another. The prizes at the end of each won category are so few, considering you have to do almost 200 puzzles for each category. Without knowing the theme of the puzzle, these puzzles can be quite difficult. And of course, if you want to reveal the theme, again, it will cost you one way or another.

Decent. Game is fun and uses a themed puzzles to allow users to more easily solve individual words. Each puzzle is timed and if that time runs out you must redo the puzzle before you are able to proceed. One glaring issue with the time mechanic is that it is paired with a poor touch responsiveness. The timer will continue to count down for 15-20 seconds until the end of the game whereas the tiles may require a second between moves for the next to be selected. It’s infuriating to say the least and it needs to be adjusted.

Fun but why the ads?. I love this game. my mom & I both play it daily (and I normally have to end up helping her out on a few puzzles here and there) but I'm wondering why when I play I have to sit and watch an ad every couple puzzles, yet my mom has no ads?? my mom didn't buy hers and neither did I. my mom connected hers to facebook so I thought maybe that was it, so I connected mine and I still have ads. I would get used to it but it's annoying that I have ads and my mom doesn't. Wish they would fix that. The ads are annoying and make me not want to play as much. Other than that, it's a fun game to play when you're bored.

Best word game. Very enjoyable play and great for picking up curiosities while passing the time. Definitely some challenging parts. Update. I have enjoyed many levels. Until they came up with "World National Parks" 1 and 2. Love all the language and trivia of the other levels but these seem to be a clear ploy to get people to buy coins. Disappointed I may have to give up on the game. Not planning to play the daily game to buy the unlock on other levels. Crazy.

Challenging word play. A real challenge. My only critique is that once one is stuck there is no avenue forward. Don’t get me wrong, there are some tile checks and “factoids” embedded in the puzzle, and one can earn bonus cards (like fee vowel placement, free placement of several letter, etc) but some could use a tiny bit more introduction / hint at the subcategory.... BUT, I say this probably because I am currently stuck. One either solves the puzzle, Googles like mad and waits a couple days for inspiration, or one quits. So far the first two and not the latter. Frankly, this is the most fun and challenge I have had with word puzzles, and I am normally not a crossword fan. Try it, no really try it and you will like it.

Enjoyable game. Puzzles vary widely in difficulty depending on your knowledge of the topic. If you know nothing you can really burn a lot of points getting hints. Many times you really have to employ divergent thinking, as the answers are not always what you think they will be. They really should write a FAQ for the game - I have completed many, many levels, and I still do not know if there is a way to skip topics. Be sure to do the daily puzzle to build up your point bank.

Only Word Puzzle for Me. I have played almost every word puzzle that comes along. This is my favorite. I don’t enjoy puzzles that include all the unknown 2 letter words in the dictionary. I like puzzles that make me think and review things I should know. Some of these puzzles are difficult - ex. In the Olympic Games set, I was draining my brain trying to figure out what sport category we were working on and was getting nowhere. Finally realized it was the names of cities where the games have been held. I look forward to these puzzles!

Enjoyable. I really like the game. The trivia after each board is interesting. The only thing I would change with this game and what keeps me from rating this a five is that even after you buy a pack, it doesn’t move to the top of the list. Each time you play, you have to scroll and search for the pack you want to play.

Daily Puzzle stopped working. I can’t seem to get the Daily Puzzle back. When I select it, it says it needs to download new puzzles. When I select that it seems to do something, but alas…still no daily puzzle! I’ve checked my wi-fi connection and settings and everything seems to be in order. Anyone else have issues with this?

Need directions but love it anyway. I fumbled through a few puzzles as i was learning. Puzzles get progressively harder. Keeps my brain working. I LOVE IT! Sometimes on my ipad mini the things that cost coins are too easily touched accidentally and you lose some of the coins. This is proven to be a problem. Perhaps the hint button along with the theme and other buttons could be moved to the Top?

Word genius. I love the variety of this game. Each category is a new challenge and each puzzle uses different knowledge and is a new experience. I like the fact that I can earn points each day that I can use when I get stuck. I look forward to each days new challenges.

Like it but ........ Recently developers have changed the number of coins received after solving the daily puzzle. It used to be 20, now it is 10. Very disappointed because if you get stuck you’ll have to wait & solve two daily puzzles before you can buy a genius card. I guess they want you to pay real money for coins....i did a couple times but like anything with some on line games, it can get too costly to continue. I am contemplating deleting it soon because waiting two days to get one clue is starting to aggrivate me & games are for relaxing my body.

Challenging fun but open up the cash flow. This is a refreshing use of crossword puzzles however BEWARE they give little instruction or the ability to go back to review how points are earned and accumulated to earn extra rewards. The daily puzzle to earn 20 points is an insignificant amount. DO NOT START PLAYING UNLESS YOU ENJOY SPENDING MONEY ON EXTRA COINS. I unwittingly used up some of my freebies without knowing it. See earlier comment re lack of instructions and ability to reread. Perhaps they could be more generous with free coins. I will watch a video but it should be more than 5 coins. And 20 coins on the daily puzzle does not get you very far on a difficult puzzle.

My new favorite game. This honestly is such a great game! A combination puzzle and internet treasure hunt, looking for information that might help in completing each themed puzzle. Being rewarded with interesting facts, both trivial and important, is a terrific incentive to play! The range of topics is impressive. I eagerly await each new set of puzzles—please keep them coming!

Better than average. The programmers for this game actually used a dictionary and good English — not always true for this type of game. Hints are a reasonable cost, while the challenge of each level is high — also not always true. You learn interesting facts along the way. If you pay attention closely, you’ll often find solution clues in the information at each level. Fun, and worth your time.

Fun game. As game progresses it gets more challenging, to the point you may lose hope in solving. But fret not because all that is needed is to plug and chug through combinations of letters or read the clues and you’ll be on to solving puzzle! You’ll also learn interesting facts about places, things, people, etc. Excellent game overall!

Challenging, fun, enlightening. This is the most interesting word game I’ve played so far. I have really enjoyed learning about the categories, figuring out what to look up, and being surprised by what I did (and didn’t) know. Patience helps, as I have had to stop working a category and play the daily challenge a few days to accumulate enough coins for hints before continuing. My only major problem is ads with sound. I have to mute my phone so I don’t disturb others, and I forget to turn it back on. Wish I could mute the game without muting everything on the phone. Keep the categories coming. Happily waiting for the next one.

Challenging. I enjoy this brain teaser every day when a puzzle is available. The game is challenging and I learn interesting facts as I play. I look forward to playing it as It is by far the best word game I have tried and highly recommend it if you like a challenge. My only criticism is that I often have to wait more than a week at a time (sometimes two) for a new puzzle to appear. I must constantly go to the APP store to see if I need to update the puzzle. I wish puzzles were installed more quickly. On a positive note, when I have had a question the developers are Johnny on the spot. . I just wish the games would appear as quickly.

Bring Back Daily Puzzles. I once rated this game 4 stars - almost 5 if my first two suggestions had been implemented. I’ve enjoyed this game for a few years. It’s been part of my daily routine. Topics are interesting, and I learn new things. A few preferred tweaks: 1. Re-sort Genius Cards to have unused on the top. It’s obnoxious to have to sloooowwwwllllly flip through dozens and dozens to find one. I have to go slow bc if I miss it, I have to start all over again. 2. Option to confirm hint and reveal theme or place those buttons at top. Because of where the buttons are located, I’ve accidentally touched one or the other and wasted coins without meaning two. 3. *Most importantly* Bring back the daily puzzle, even if it’s for less coins. Or certain amount of coins based on how fast it’s solved. I looked forward to those shorter puzzle opportunities as well as the ability to add to my coins just by being a loyal daily player. I realize y’all gotta make money, but this is a make or break feature for me - and for several others, it would seem.

Five stars if.... I have been playing this game for a couple years and enjoy it but I give it only four stars until the developers make it easier to find the available genius cards that you have earned. Because I have completed many levels and earned 100’s of genius cards I cannot understand why the available ones do not sort to the top of the stack instead of having to tap the screen to advance through the stack one at a time. With no way to go to backwards, if you miss one you must go all the way through again to find it. And since the game does not tell you what genius cards you have available you find yourself going through them only to find that you do not have any must use coins to unlock one. I don’t mind using coins to unlock a genius card but only after I use the free ones I have earned first. Ridiculous.

Clever and fun. Addition ... The “factoids” offered at the end of each game are terrific. Even for someone addicted to little obscure facts, these are a rare treat. Enjoying this game enormously. But can’t seem to find details on how things work ... I’ve learned by trial and error, which has cost me coins. I’d suggest a little more generosity with those coins. How about a few coins reward at the end of each level. Or a surprise bonus for a particularly difficult word. When I exhaust my coins, I’ll probably move on ... don’t want to fall into the “purchase” trap. But meanwhile, it’s one of the best word games out there. Thumbs up! Update ... I’ve completed all the puzzles and eagerly await the new ones each week. I now rarely need coins and make sure I do the daily puzzle for 20 coins ( if you don’t miss a day ). I learned to never “ buy my way out” of a puzzle because you only get to move ahead one time and then have to go back to finish the one you paid a penalty to get out of. Don’t ever do that. Just pay for a couple of hints. And never use “sprinkle” ... a total waste. Choose “vowels” instead. The puzzles are brilliantly constructed with related terms and associations positioned adjacent to each other in the puzzle. Best online game ever! 👍👍👍👍👍

Word Genius. I love the game but I don’t like the position of the reveal theme button. I always hit it by accident and lose 50 points! I wish it would at least say “are you sure you want to reveal the theme?” Also I don’t really understand the genius cards. Why do I have so many to pick from but it still charges me points? With a few exceptions they all seem the same to me. For example, there may be 4or 5 cards that say reveal vowels for a charge of 20 coins. What is the purpose of having so many? Good potential but.... I really enjoy the questions and the random trivia. However, I have to agree with other reviewers regarding getting stuck with no coins and ONLY option is to buy more. I know you want to make money on your app but most games allow you to view ads for coins, get coins for your time (what’s the point in getting hundreds of burgers/trophies/whatever if they don’t even mean anything?) I’ll be uninstalling this since I can’t keep progressing. Nice try.

Addictive and confusing. I love this game but I couldn’t give it 5 stars because I can’t seem to find the rules anywhere. I don’t like having to use 10 coins every time I need a hint. And I don’t understand how to use the cards. It would be great if you added a “how to play”or “help” button! Other than those issues, I really love how it makes my brain work. And the trivia is interesting. Someone else said that he or she is really learning how to google better through this game, and I agree. Overall lots of fun but could use some tweaks!

Game is addictive and a learning tool. I enjoy this game a lot! Beware that the “reveal theme” button is in a bad spot if you “rest” your thumb during play - you may accidentally hit it which will cost you 25 coins. I would suggest making it perhaps a genius card. Game is fun, and it’s always nice learning new things. Great concept, and my husband and I play as a team sometimes. Could be great family fun. I’m only giving four stars because you can’t move on until you pass each category or keep buying new ones. Some can be very difficult, so you’re stuck. Maybe you could be given three free “pass” cards and then option to buy them with coins. Customer service is awesome!

Great Game, Lousy Support. Really enjoy this game. It’s challenging but not punishingly so, and it’s actually taught me things that make me want to learn more. BUT. If you need tech support, be prepared to be disappointed. I would love to be able to buy the game outright once and for all to avoid ads, but that’s not an option. So I decided to buy $5 worth of coins just so I could get 30 days ads-free. I received the coins but still saw ads. I contacted the company via its website and got a pretty prompt reply, but they just said for me to force-quit the game (which didn’t help) and they’d investigate the issue. That was in December. It’s now April. I’ve reported it twice now, using two different email addresses, and followed up with multiple polite emails. Besides their initial reply, they haven’t done a thing.

Fun puzzles. Love this game. The puzzles have a common theme to keep them interesting. The daily puzzle gives a daily clue that helps determine the theme and keeps the solve from being too frustrating. Good exercise in word recognition, like playing Wheel of Fortune word puzzles without the spins and giving turns to others on the guess work.

Grrrrrrr. When i first saw this game, it was advertised in landscape mode. So it looked like a good game, so I downloaded it. Then I opened it just to find its in portrait mode only. i have to keep my Ipad plugged in or the battery gets depleted quickly. I can’t play anything in portrait mode because I would have to hold it in that mode and my Ipad is way to hard to hold. Why can’t you developers make it possible to play in either mode. I just delete all the games without even trying them when they are in portrait mode only.

New addiction. I love this game! My only criticism is some of the themes of the puzzles are very obscure and unless you are an expert in the category, it can be rather hard to solve. Also, The player should be asked to confirm if they really meant to hit the reveal fame button along the bottom as I have inadvertently done so twice and it has taken 25 points from my total. That said, I’m still loving this game!

Latest update. Edit: where are the daily puzzles? They’re the only ones you can do since there seems to a moratorium on new categories. Please fix. Thanks so much for more levels. However the Reveal Theme button is too easy to touch by accident. There should be an alert asking if you really want to spend 15 coins to continue. I lost coins I didn’t want to use. Please redesign. I guess I meant 25 coins Update: still not happy placement of Reveal Theme button but LOVE the chance to earn coins with daily puzzles. First thing I do every morning 😁

Unique Crossword Game. I’m really enjoying this game because of all the extra things I’m learning. Each puzzle has a theme, but you don’t know what it is until you fill in a special square. There is a square that shows a short essay with info about the theme and always includes a hint or two. You can accumulate points which you can use for more hints. The crosswords only intersect in a couple places, so you don’t have many clues. This games is challenging and fun.

Love the game but crashes now. We love this challenging and very informative game. The facts are so interesting. After getting to the 4th level it crashes. It completely cuts off as soon as it turns on. We uninstalled and now it crashes in the first level. Please help! We love this game! We have it installed on an IPhone 6 Plus.

Addicting!. This is the best word game app available! It is challenging but if you take your time and have a pencil and paper to help you along, eventually you’ll complete the puzzle. But I’ve finished all of the available games! I spent some coins (I can’t remember but I think 150) to get two more games: Presidents I and Presidents II. Will there be more games available soon?

Almost..., but not quite. The game is excellent, except for the fact that it regularly has words that are completely obscure. So you’re left with having to guess at the solution. What’s the point? It’s challenging enough with words that are more well known. Wait. That probably is the point. Forces you to buy answers. Too bad! I would have given it five stars otherwise.

Fun and educational. Huh- this was an app that was an advertisement. I took the bait and didn't regret it. The game play is simple but it's still challenging. There isn't endless advertisements or push to spend money. I'll probably buy a few coins at some point just to support the app. The best part has been their trivia which has been really fun to learn! This app has been a surprising delight.

Word genius. Finally, a word game that TEACHES you about the words you’re playing! I’m just starting but so far it seems very user-friendly. I could play all day. Problem: the letters/squares are not responsive enough to touch. It takes up valuable time to get the squares to accept a letter. Problem: You cannot skip a subject. And you HAVE TO get all the obscure words! No mercy!

Better Be On Your Toes. This game can really test you. There are many topics and the correct word can be elusive. It is helpful to earn coins and the genius cards. There is a twist as to playing the game which makes it quite challenging and that I won’t reveal. You will have to play it for yourself. A true test of determination. Strategy is also an important aspect. Word Genius is addicting. It is a serious twist on crossword puzzles and keeps you coming back for more.

Fun and educational. I’m hooked! I like the challenge of the crossword and I look forward to the factoids at the end of each puzzle. And the bonus cards keep me going when I need a hint. I even find myself researching more on a particular topic on the internet while I am trying to solve a puzzle.

Trivial Pursuit in a crossword. This app makes me smile when I work on it. The wise old owl makes it fun though it is incredibly challenging. What fun this series is. Hints cost tokens but you never have to buy them if you just wait a day for more bonus games. The knowledge base is incredible and I learn from every chapter. Stories of famous people lend clues to the board. A great challenge and learning opportunity. No ads either!! This is one of the best word apps!!

Word Genius. I like the challenge. I’m learning new things. So far so good! Thanks! This such a nice switch from other word games. Months later: I still say it’s the best, if I could read it a 10 star I would! Hi suffered a major brain bleed stroke a year and a half ago. This game really helps me, is not too difficult so it encourages me, and it is free. Does not have too many silly Advertisements.

Challenging Game for Word Lovers and Trivia Buffs. This is a well-designed game that covers a variety of topics that will challenge everyone. Information about topics is given as a reward (look for hints), which is an unusual twist to this addictive game. Starting and stopping is no problem, even though there is a timer. Various strategies can be used to stockpile coins for future hints, as needed.

Addictive, fun and I also learn!. I have really enjoyed these puzzles and can’t get enough of them. I enjoy puzzling out the words without many hints and also learning new things. I am “curious” about how many puzzles there are? Do they stop after “ Toon Time.” I don’t seem to have access to any after that one.

Crashes frequently. I like the game but still haven’t figured out the fine points. I don’t see any instructions so I’ve just felt my way. In addition I have had a lot of trouble with it crashing and I finally had to reinstall it, losing my credits.

Buttons across the bottle of the screen-should be elsewhere. The hints, reveal theme buttons etc. should elsewhere on the screen. Hit reveal theme by accident, which is a useless and expensive clue. Gee all of a sudden I don’t have any coins left... It is too easy to hit in error when picking letters...🤨

Recent Daily Puzzle Issue. This app was formerly a 5. But now, for the past ~2 weeks, there is no “daily puzzle”, yet the app asks me to “download the daily puzzle”. Whenever I click to do that, the app says “downloading daily puzzle”, yet it doesn’t download anything, and the app asks me to start all over again. Obviously it’s broken - can you fix it?

Word genius review. I played this game for a few years and stopped when I reached the end which is Thriller Movies. I’ve been waiting since 2018 for them to release more but so far, nothing. I miss it, it’s a really cool game and you can learn a lot from it.

Fabulous game. I have loved the challenge of this game. I am unfortunately on Physics which is currently the last topic. I’m hoping they come up with more categories. Some suggestions: Music of the 60’s, 70’s, 80’s, 90’s and on. Olympics, more broadway.

A challenge but fun. A fun app that tests your knowledge on many topics. It’s full of short interesting, informative trivia that correlates to the puzzle. Topics of music, food, sports, inventors, history, and a whole lot more. I make it a part of my daily morning routine.

Enjoy. This game challenges my brain which I love. As a senior citizen I look for ways to keep my brain stimulated and this is one of the greatest. Not only do I have to solve the crossword but there is ehe added bonus of learning new things. Thank you

Expanding your mind with Word Genius. This is one of the most interesting (and one of the hardest crossword games I have come across. It will definitely make you think and learn a few things along the way.

Update glitch. I love this game and have been playing it for many months. But after the latest update it has developed a glitch. It crashes constantly. On every single move. And it did the auto update yesterday, so I’ll have to wait until the next update to play again. It’s too annoying dealing with the crashes after every move.

Challenging and educational!. Look forward to a new puzzle each day. Keeps my brain working and my spelling reviewed. Includes fun facts to learn and share. My new obsession that is teaching me new ways to deal with frustrating problems.

Move over Words with Friends. I was looking for a game that entertained me, wasn’t full of ads, and had the perfect amount of challenge. This is it! It feels like trivia mixed with a crossword. I have deleted my other single player word games. Many thanks to the developers.

Can’t Buy Credits! Can’t get Help!. I’ve have been playing this game for a couple of years, I don’t even mind spending money when I have to. But there is some sort of glitch that is preventing me from buying any more credits, and I can’t get anyone to help me!

Meh. Well I had high hopes for this game. It sounded fun and challenging. However it’s on a timed basis-bad idea when you have no hints. Second you must use 10 coins to use a hint and if you don’t purchase them they’re very hard to come by—another bad idea. So I’ll have to delete it because they took all the fun out! One should be able to solve the puzzles at their leisure and if you charge for hints but only sell coins, charge 1 coin not 10. I’d send you back to the drawing board!

One huge flaw on an otherwise great app. This is a fun game. Love playing it every day. But why do I have to scroll through eternity to find the games I “bought” with points in order to play them? Can’t they somehow be bumped to the top of the list? It’s my only complaint.

Use to be a great game. I love this game! It was challenging, made me think and fun. You would be a free daily puzzle which I enjoyed. Now, it says download for new free puzzles, but nothing is there. The app hasn’t been updated in 3 months. If you are no longer supporting the app at least have the decency to respond to these reviews or post something. It’s sad that so many people enjoy the game but developers don’t see to care.

Can’t wait for more levels!. I was happy to learn the game is constantly updated so there will hopefully be no end to the fun. This game is, as others have said, really fun, challenging, addicting, and educational. Thank you Word Genius, you make me feel like one. ☺️

Not what I expected. Imo, this game is misnamed. It’s more “subject genius.” My interest was to extend my vocabulary, but this game covers random names and subjects. It would help if it allowed the player to choose the subject or when to quit and choose a different one, but it forces the player to complete about 12+/- levels of games of a subject before it moves you to another one. You don’t get to choose the next subject, it’s given to you whether it’s one you enjoy or not. I’m not bored enough to put up with this.

Word Genius by Curios. I find it quite challenging and I ‘m a word game player. Good fun, I also find that some of the categories are so detailed, one would have to be obsessed with the topic to know some things. Still, I do like the game, keep returning.

Addicting!. I saw an advertisement for this game and it looked fun so I downloaded it. Most of the time the real game isn’t half as fun as its advertisement promises.... But this one is!! I actually have to set limits on myself so ai go to bed on time. “You can only play three rounds then go to sleep!” Thanks for a super fun and educational game!

Informative and entertaining. The puzzles are very challenging. Even the subjects that people believe they really know are pretty tough. Having a lot of boards per topic makes the game last for days, even weeks!

Challenging for the quick. Provides stimulating verbal challenges that are not so difficult as to drive you to frustration. Numerous topics. Fact cards provide obscure and interesting information. Plenty of hints & helps are available. One of my favorite leisure apps

Frustrating!. I like to play, but the game would be much improved if open categories appeared at the top of the long list. Also, it would be good if the completed categories went to the bottom of the list. When I just have a few minutes to play, I waste much of it just trying to locate the open category I’m looking for.

Educational and Enjoyable. I have a PhD and 14 full time years of university work. I love this game because unlike many games that are for low IQ folks, this one is many steps above. I actually am learning things I did not know and having a great time doing so.

Challenging, Fun, and Diversity of Subjects. Wide range of knowledge required but beginning puzzles in each category are easy enough to help you accumulate points - play daily puzzles regularly to have enough points for help on harder challenges

Fun game...need more puzzles!. I really enjoy this game. It can be challenging but not impossible. I’ve worked through all available puzzles and continue daily puzzle in hopes more categories will be posted. Love learning new facts along the way with genius cards and built in hints.

Good but wish I could earn stars easier. Just enough brain power needed. Very pleasant game. It is hard to get me re than 20 stars/coins a day. Because of this, I can’t play as much as I wish. When I get stuck, I must wait till next day to play more

Word Genius. Love this game. Wish they could release more levels. One a week isn’t enough for me. The daily puzzle has been pretty easy lately. There was a typo in one of the categories that will throw you a little bit. Overall, by far the most addicting game I’ve played

Word Genius - The Best Out There!. I’ve been at this for about three years now and never tire of it. I’d rate it 10 stars if I could. The puzzles and categories just keep coming, I don’t think there is an end to it.

Word Genius. Very engaging game. You learn facts in many categories as you play. There haven’t been any new levels for a while. Today it said there were new puzzles to download but they won’t download in the app or in the App Store.

Challenging. Great new word game, however, not nearly enough hints given to get very far! Yes, I use the daily extra hint giver!! Some of the words are absolutely impossible to figure out unless you are an actual Olympian or whatever the category is...I’m going to keep with it but I am still a WWF lover!

Word Genius Rocks!. Finally, a game that doesn’t drag me in then leave me feeling like I’ve just wasted hours of my life. Word Genius actually requires me to use, not only my collective acquired knowledge from nearly 60 years, but also my ability to think logically and to research. Kudos to the creators!

Great concept but greedy developer. Does anyone remember when apps were free ? This is an awesome game at first glance . It has it all - educational & fun for all ages - but I for one am sick and tired of what these apps have become - money suckers. They are fun for awhile but quickly get so hard that you have to BUY hints , lives, supports etc! ENOUGH - they are going to ruin smart phones for everyone - themselves and consumers. They are going to kill the golden goose ! Kids are getting the gambling bug in some cases and draining their parents accounts by drips and drabs at the very least. Adults like me have to go through the frustration of falling in love with a game only to become angry with it and the mentality of the developers. ENOUGH - don’t bother with it.

Interesting information!. You get interesting facts and are challenged to finish crossword puzzles to obtain them. AND you are rated as to how quickly you can finish the puzzle. Quite different from other trivia games

Fun and educational!. Fun to play and learning things I never thought about in all my 74 years!😻 The only problem is my husband and I play this together and have reached the last level available - sure wish they would have new levels available daily🤗.

Love this!. Great fun when you know something about the topic, just gotta use those genius cards when you don’t. (Took me awhile to figure out that you get a free play of each new genius card.) The factoids at the end of each puzzle are often startling and worthy of a screenshot, me thinks.

Could be good. I like the game but it's way too expensive to play. Every time you need a hint that 25 coins. You almost never earn more than a few coins in a puzzle. There no real way to earn coins. Using the cards is also very costly most are 30 coins some are more. You earn the cards but then have to pay to use then. Insane. And if you want to play anothercategory it's 150 coins. So you are stuck with one puzzle.

Amazing. There are not too many ads. The puzzles are very well thought out. I love how well themed each chapter is, with the token gained in each one being different. It’s so cute. I love reading all the facts that pop up as well.

Disappointed. I love this game but when I changed phones from an Apple 6+ to an Apple 6S the puzzle started from the first level even though I had been through 21 categories on my 6+. Does anyone know how to download the game to continue from where I left off??

Thinking, thinking, remembering. Oh my, talk about making me think and I have to try so hard to remember stuff from long ago is NOT fun until the right answer pops into my head and then I get excited and can’t wait until the next challenging puzzle comes along. LOVING IT!!!!!!

Still love it. I still love the game but recently, after I was deep into the game (Bad Blood) it froze up. I waited a day plus to see if it would self-correct. It didn’t. I turned my iPad off & back on. Nothing. So I deleted the app & reinstalled it. That worked. But it reset me back to the beginning!

Fun. Fun but too many cards & special letters, & boxes, & facts & themes, & history, and trying to remember what is part of the game and what is just something interesting to read. All of these things thrown at you in the first three games is a lot to keep track of. I didn’t mention the coins or other theme related items to earn. Slow down the introduction of sooo many things, so quickly!

Fun, interesting and challenging. What a fantastic app this is. It’s a combination of my two favourites - crosswords and trivia. I play it every day. I learn facts while having lots of fun. After finishing the first lot of games, they added more subjects! This is just about the most interesting and gripping app out there!

Love this app!. I enjoy playing this app every day! It’s fun to figure out the puzzles, and even more fun to learn facts about the puzzle’s topic. I’ve recommended the game to a couple of friends, and now they’re hooked! If you’re into Scrabble, crosswords, or other word games, this is a great, fun next step.

Word Genius is fun and helps one learn!. I love playing Word Genius because it is not an easy game to play. One has to use the old noodle to figure out the words. Also, there are many interesting facts to be learned as the game progresses. Just a really great game.

Fun to play but.... This is an enjoyable little game for both adults and children. I would have given it five stars except for the fact that it doesn’t rotate on my portable device. When my battery is low, I will often use my iPad while it’s charging and if things on the screen won’t rotate, my charging cord gets frayed very quickly. It can become an expensive little game then.

Word genius. It’s very challenging but I have been able to solve every puzzle so far without buying coins. I love playing it. Some can be solved almost instantly and others I have to put down and come back to it the next day.

Word Genius is Challenging. I like Word Genius because it is fun and challenging. Each category has so much information that I did not know. I recommend it to everyone because it is not just a game it full of facts and history.

Word genius. I think word genius is a good game because it is challenging and you can learn new words and things. You can unlock new levels with coins and play or watch adds to get coins but the adds can come and go.

Genius. I’ve played many logic / word games . The enjoyment I get playing this one is awesome. I play this game for hours. My grandchildren also play and learn from the game. The themes and info pop-ups help them and myself discover things we didn’t know.

Fun, but Now a Problem. I downloaded this game with the intention of being addicted to playing it. I love word games. I haven’t had the game for a week and despite it being fun, now I have issues of “letters being misplaced” when the puzzle is complete. It doesn’t make sense. Once this gets resolved, it’ll be fun for me again.
