Login loop of death. This app refuses to save my login information, so once a week or so it just logs me out and I’m unable to sign back in unless I first go on my desktop computer to remove the Authenticator, log in, and then add the Authenticator back on. This is so extremely frustrating. How am I supposed to keep my account secure when the Authenticator app itself is this broken? Please add biometric login as well. It’s 2023 and FaceID exists, there’s no reason to force us to login by typing in our password.

Something went wrong. I downloaded this app for the first time a few days ago and I love it so much! It shows me when my friends are online and what games they’re playing. I was on the app a few hours ago and it was working fine. But then later on I when I get back on the app it signed me out and said at the bottom “hmm something went wrong” I love this app, please fix it!

Good until now. I’ve been using this app for years and would say it’s great until now. For over 3 days now it will not complete sign in. It stays blank like it’s spinning. If I go to my profile you can see the spinning. I have uninstalled and reinstalled. Authenticator is working. It worked fine before and I didn’t change anything. Prior to this I have had notification issues. Not working properly as to how it’s set. Very disappointed as I run a guild and RBGs. I can’t get on while not in game to see and touch base with my guild and team.

PVP. This app would be much better of honor was better in wow classic battlegrounds. The temporary fix to give people “double honor” l is the equivalent of someone taking your car but then giving you a tire back. You changed it to 10% of what it was but then doubled that percent. So we are currently getting 20% of the honor that we were originally getting. Everyone will quit playing. Quote my words. I love playing the game but am considering quitting. I’ll give my money to other games no problem.

They wont fix my account so basically i got scammed, go out of buissness u stole my money. I cant play my games they all disappeared they do not care at all about there customers they didn't even bother trying to explain or fix any thing, what a joke of a company with mediocre games your games are mediocre they are not that good, get over yourself. Biggest jerks on the planet battlenet stole my money, u psychos literally didnt fix my freaking account and stole all my games screw this horrible customer support all you guys did was ask me a question when i was telling you to fix it you ruined everything and scammed me. Cannot login to app. In order to login to this app, I am required to use the Authenticator that I am attempting to login to. I cannot contact CS as I also need to use the Authenticator. There is no clear way to contact CS. I had a dozen of support pages open that all told me to login and or use SMS. That is when I discovered that the phone number was incorrect and cannot change it without using the Authenticator. They should have never gotten rid of the old security token.

Authenticator loop. For some reason, Blizzard had the smart idea to remove the restore function after replacing the OLD authenticator app with this new buggy one. Now it only has log in (requires authenticator, imagine needing your authenticator to log into your authenticator) and create new account Are blizzard devs really just secretly 80 year olds with no function on HOW technology works? It’s like locking your car keys in your car, then the car telling you that you can’t use your spare key to open your car because you need your car keys to open the car

Close App to Use App. For well over a year now the app has had a glitch where minimizing it renders the app useless. If I am having a conversation with someone and I minimize the app or turn my phone screen off, getting back to the app puts me in a “reconnecting” state for as long as the app remains open. Only closing the app completely and reopening it makes the app work.

No one will help me. Or the past five years, I’ve been trying to remove the Authenticator and change my phone number to my current phone number, but no one has tried to help me and I don’t have access to the Authenticator app because the phone was broken and I didn’t have access to my old phone number because I had a new one meaning I had no way to change it and I tried seeking help from the support, but no one helped me and I am scared that I will no longer have access to my account soon and I will lose everything.

Frustratingly slow. I’ve never run into an app that runs this slow. My phone is an iPhone 6s so it is gettin pretty old but still I don’t think a messaging app should run like this. Everything from what friends are playing, loading messages, and even typing the message is just extremely slow and at times seems unresponsive which is unfortunate because I’ve wanted this app for awhile since all I play are blizzard games and it’s nice to keep in touch when I’m away from the computer. Steams app is uglier but runs waaaaaaaay better and then theirs discord’s app which is perfect.

Wonderful. Love the app… prior to right this moment. Presently, it is missing a core feature that is one of the major reasons why you would download the app. Otherwise, the app is great and allowed me to see when friends come online and even chat with them from my phone.

It was fine at first. Ive been using/playing blizzard games since 2016 and I never had a problem until recently. I tried logging into my account but it wont let me due to my authenticator, which the app just got shut down. If it got shut down why am I still having issues trying to login?? Then it sends me back here and says the same thing. This is tiring. Its 2024. Fix your apps! Let me play my games without having to use 2-3 apps just to login! Its so frustrating!!

New Stealth update has ruined this app. So there was a recent update to the app that was made, that didn’t require a physical update from the store. This update has destroyed this app. It’s extremely sluggish now. Crashes every time I use it to chat with friends. In fact, it’s the only iOS app on my phone that crashes. It also overheats your phone if you’re chatting with multiple friends simultaneously and therefore drains a ton of battery in very short duration. The only way to temporarily fix it somewhat, is to reboot the phone after swiping up to close the app and then clearing ram. The app also becomes unresponsive intermittently and your messages also don’t sync in its entirety between desktop and mobile. It also frequently attempts to “reconnect” every time you leave the app, which takes 2-3 seconds. Very primitive. I am now forced to ditch the app and move over to the Discord app for my chatting needs. All of this on an iPhone 7 running iOS 11.4.

Good App but I would like more. I am happy that Blizzard has finally decided to implement this app. I have been reading in forums for years about the need and want for an app like this so again, I am happy it is here. The one feature or option, that I feel is a must for me, is the ability to have a notification when a friend comes online. Having the ability to see a friend come online (in game) would help me to meet up with friends more often. The app shows when they are online but I’d love to be notified. It would be especially helpful if you can select that notification option per friend since there are some I play with more often than others.

Too little too late. I’ve been waiting a real long time for Blizzard to release a mobile app for their Battlenet. And when they finally do, literally all it’s capable of doing is PMing other users. I can’t browse Blizzard related news, I can’t see recent videos/comics about their games, I can’t visit a store and make purchases on their products. It’s nothing more than a 3rd party texting app, and the only reason I give it 2 Stars is because the UI is very clean and very smooth.

the app is amazing. the app is amazing, being able to see who’s online and messaging others. But a feature that would be really useful is a voice chat for mobile as well.

slow..... I like this app because it lets me talk to my friends and see what they're up to, but I'd rather not have to wait a full minute every time I want to move from one screen to the next on the app. It keeps freezing while loading, and loads slowly. I'm always afraid that it'll crash again (which it has before). Optimize this please! People use it, people enjoy it, people would like it to actually work well.

Quite literally the worst app I've ever used to message with.. It's fine if all you use this app for is notifications of when your friends login or stay inside the app and message -- but the second you swap to another app or turn off/your phone goes to sleep and you try to pick back up the conversation you get hit with a "trying to reconnect" message and have to wait 20s+ and often the app just dies and tries to login again. I've found it's much easier to just force close the app (swipe up to close the app) and relaunch it if I need to pickup a conversation or respond to a message. It's crazy that it works so poorly. I highly recommend something like Discord over this for chatting with friends. It is sad though, I wish this app did work well.

Clogged toilet. If you have been waiting to use the vocab word “Kafkaesque” correctly in a sentence then this app presents the perfect opportunity to do so. Useless, bureaucratic bilge. The authenticator has saved exactly 0 people from ID fraud, and to be frank it screams of being the result of a lawsuit. Like blizzard set the whole thing up just to appease some folks and say they take ID fraud seriously. Any slightest change in your routine, e.g. you get a new phone, or computer, and you are screwed. Seemingly permanently, because new devices won’t synch once you have been using two of the same for a while, and any attempt to fix the problem will just bring you to endless pages of automated responses and FAQs that are not relevant to your issue: “forgot password?” “Account is blocked?” “Forgot email?” No. No. No. Kafkaesque. You will literally probably end up searching old subreddits until you find an email or number for customer service to speak to an actual person and get the answer to your (albeit very simple) issue. Until then, you aren’t playing your games because Blizzard requires you to essentially sign in on two devices just to play on one.

Barely useable due to lag. Giving two stars because I'm glad it exists, but it's very buggy and slow. This app has been barely useable during past month on my iPhone 8. The lag is really bad- says 'reconnecting' very often, and trying to receive and send messages takes ridiculously long.. Like 4 min to finally open msg, and another 4 to compose as every character is delayed. Then sending takes long time, and more often than not ends up not even going through. I've never had any other messaging app be so laggy, and it's like this pretty much every evening when I most need it. I'd also like to be able to send pictures or at least add profile pic from my own camera roll, but the most important thing is: please fix this terrible lag issue!! Thank you

Bug. It’s a great app. I love it! Only thing is when I was moving it around on the home screen, you know for organization, it disappeared. So went to download it again, but the only option I had was to open it. It was on my phone but no where to be found. I ignored for a while then went back to find it, i could finally download it and use it again. May not necessarily be a battle net issue but an apple issue.

Could be a little better to communicate with everyone. I’m on Consol so I’d like to have something that's easy to use for simple communication with my now cross-platforms friends. Given that this all just started I can be patient, but I hope to see some change for this app in the future for that or you might as well expect players to try to connect easier on apps like discord maybe? However somethings that’s connected to my consoles account this shouldn’t have to be the case in my opinion. I’m excited to see what’s to come though.

App doesn’t load. I’ve used this application for years with no issues at all and love it. All sudden the app won’t log me in and says I need to re-enable my social settings marked as required in my account settings and no such settings exist. I can log in just fine on the internet and pc desktop app. Have tried reinstalling the app, pretty much everything. What’s going on here?

Good idea, poor execution. I love the idea of checking to see which friends are online and being able to message them, and when it works this app is great. But that’s when it works, I’ve only had a handful of times where this app works the first time. A large majority of the time it will say that too many people are on the servers and that I’ll have to try again. This can take 15-20 minutes from my experience and that takes away from how handy it can be. If they can fix the reliability of this application it would be five stars for sure but as of now it’s beyond poor.

Terrible app. This app is atrocious. If I try to access any specific setting in the settings tab it leave me with a blank purple screen and no settings pop up. I can’t access anything and I’ve tried restarting it, logging out and back in, and deleted and reinstalling it. Nothing works. Settings are inaccessible. I tried to use the website instead in hopes that would work. But you can’t even access the setting OVERALL. This whole website/app is a buggy mess. So I have no way of changing my account information. Another fail in blizzards history. YAY!

A messenger app and pretty much nothing else.... If you want to be able to chat with people you game with, this nifty app works. If you want to see your standings on the ladder or edit your profile, good luck. You will have better luck doing that on the mobile site but even then, the pages aren’t designed for mobile viewers and are clumsy and oversized. Fix it Blizzard! This app could be so much better for your faithful ladder players!

Won't put me on the correct account. I have an account that is actually connected to my ow2 account. And another random account i made on accident. And it won't let me get into the account where it's actually connected to my ow2 account. I even put in the information and it won't let me into my account to which i bought everything on. This error is quite annoying and it's un allowing me to enter the CORRECT account so i can get my voice chat fixed since i can't you it any more due to the stupid Regional Settings.

Finally, Great App, Login Crash Resolution.. It works exactly as needed, straight Chatting. But the Apps Login is still Bugged. After almost a week of fiddling, delete the app, reboot, redownload it, do NOT open it, reboot your phone again, unlock your phone click open The App Immediately(don't open any other app, change anything at all just open the app) quickly click Login and you should be able to login on your device if you weren't able too previously. Cheers!

I'm so happy to finally have a chat app!. I've been wanting a mobile app for chatting for a long while, especially because I can't spend a lot of time playing games anymore, but I still want to keep up with friends or chat a little outside of discord. This app is wonderful. I have a friend I only communicate with on bnet, and we always miss each other by a few hours. We were happy to be able to send messages to each other offline, but this is even better! His mom is going through cancer treatment and I don't have to worry about missing an update from him anymore! Thank you, Blizzard!

It was necessary. My hopes are with you.. Thanks Blizzard for a necessary app we were waiting for. I hope this is just the beginning and interesting new features are coming. I am a Diablo III player and it would be great to be able to see my profile and heroes and their respective worn items. Also please enable lanscape mode. Keep up the good work!

Sluggish Receiving and Sending. I love the idea. I love the app, but I expect more out of a blizzard app. I know mobile isn’t your forte, but this app is slow to send and receive messages. The iOS will notify me a message has been received, so I’ll click on the notification. It takes me to the message within the app, but a second later the literal message presents itself within the chat window. Needs to be polished up and seem less sluggish. Edit: Also, after leaving the app, and then coming back at a later time I’m immediately being notified it’s “reconnecting...” in the chat and have to wait a few more seconds. This is really unacceptable imo.

My account is gone?. Today, I’ve tried to get on my old account that had overwatch origins edition on it that I couldn’t play at the time of purchase due to my old laptop not having the requirements to run it. I’ve gotten a new laptop for Christmas and decided to try logging in to this old account, however it no longer exists for whatever reason. This has forced me to write this review because I spent 40 dollars on that account only to have it deleted without my knowledge and has soured my spirits.

Hardly functioning. I'm not sure why this app is rated so highly, especially after seeing several people share my complaint – a complaint about arguably the most integral thing that determines if an app good or bad: it doesn't work. I've had the app for about a month and have probably tried to open it over the span of the month around 50 times, and it's only connected me to the server twice. Two times. Otherwise, I'm either told "Line's full: an usual amount of traffic", or more frequently an endless "reconnecting..." that never actually connects, regardless of my strong wifi connection or strong cellular data. The only thing this app is good for in its current state is taking up storage space on your device.

Company supports t*rrorism. My subscription is expiring next month and I won’t be renewing it. I’ll be telling everyone I know not to renew theirs either. Found out this week that Blizzard employees have been calling for violence against people who voted in the last election and neither Blizzard nor Microsoft are doing anything about it, so I’ll be voting with my wallet. Had a nice run but I don’t need to play video games THAT bad lol. Maybe I’ll come back when this Blizz starts acting like a real company again.

What id like to see. i really wish i could customize notifications when specific players comes on. I wish i could customize which players show up in my list. So like, a favorites list that shows the ones i pick online or offline, they are always on top. :)

Not even basic respect for users.. At some point the app updated to add promotional advertisement notifications without asking for permission. Extremely scummy behavior, especially after forcing users who only wanted a two-factor authentication app (god forbid they allow standards-based 2FA so you can chose whatever app you want) into this new shoddy excuse to shove their game store in your face. Speaking of that, they also enable tracking for advertising by default, which you have to disable on their website. Just incredible.

Locked out. I got locked out of my account after i got a new phone and number. I can’t access my account because of the authenticator and now i am on the verge of losing my wow account that i have had since 2019. I have reached out to customer service multiple times and they have not helped me. There isn’t a number to call either. The worst customer service i have ever experienced and now i am on the verge of losing everything and having to start completely over.

My stuff won’t load. I have had this app for a long time and never had a issue with this until now and idk how to fix it, I have deleted the app a lot of times and I set everything up everything loads up normally but when I get to the main screen it just gets stuck and I can’t see my friend of send a text message cuz it won’t load, idk if it’s a bug or if there’s a way to fix it but it very annoying please fix this issue or help me out here :(

Please read😁. Now I have loved blizzard for a long time and when I found the mobile app I was really happy but one thing to make better is to do a voice chat on your mobile because it’s kind of annoying when you have to open the blizzard launcher to use it, overall great app 😁

Incredibly buggy. The app layout and functionality is fine, but every time I try to resume it (swap back to the app after opening it), it gets incredibly slow and says "Reconnecting..." It takes a very long time to clear this state (if it ever does), so I'm now in the habit of just force closing this app every time I move to a different app. If Blizzard can resolve the stability issues, it will be a decent app. As of now, though, it's one of the most problematic on my phone.

The app is good but.... This app is really good and I like that they added the avatars in here. The only thing I don’t like is that, with the update that added the avatars they took away the “friend offline for X hours” on the friend list. Now you can only see individual offline times by viewing their profiles each one at a time instead of all of them at once next to their names like it used to. I don’t understand the need for that change. Please put it back how it was! Thanks.

Horrible customer service. I could not log into the account and they said that they need my personal information despite they have my email that confirmed that it is my account. In addition I had that account for very long time and I did not put my personal information in the first time. So even if I gave them the information they would have no way to compare it. They probably wanted it to sell my information which is horrible because they are one of the biggest company in the world. I am still waiting for HR complaint number to put forward my complaint. I assume they will never respond back. I never had anything like this before.

Update quote is way off.... The saying is that a picture is worth "ten-thousand words", not "one-thousand." A gif, is usually about ten images. if a picture was worth 1,000 words than a gif would be worth 10,000. If a picture is worth 10,000 words, a gif would be worth 100,000. Therefore a picture would have to be worth 100,000 words for a gif to be worth 1,000,000.

Suggestions. Okay so I just got the app but I don’t want to delete it yet. I got it as a substitute for discord. Just wondering if some more games could be added? I’m much more of a relaxed player. I’m not really into the games it has now. I don’t know if any games can really be added but I prefer Minecraft, GTA5, and RDR2. I may or may not still use the app depending on how I feel as of now. Thanks!

Only so I can play StarCraft once in a while. I got this app purely so I could play the original StarCraft once in a while…thanks for forcing it on me. For the record I think modern Blizzard is a completely amoral company and needing an app like this for a game that old that I own is completely ridiculous, and probably nothing more than an attempt to sell my data and pitch me. OG StarCraft is a good game, but Blizzard as an institution is not a company I will ever do business with again in any way shape or form, no matter how good the games they make might be because I don’t agree with their business practices. It’s sad how far they’ve fallen.

Broken. Unfortunately the majority of 5-star reviews here recently are fake. The app has continued to degrade over time with no support and no updates. It frequently takes numerous attempts of opening and closing the app for it to function at all. Many people use battlenet as their go-to due to chatting with friends from Blizzard games, but the mobile app is incredibly frustrating. Would be nice to see any work done to resolve the nonstop connection issues.

Love this app but. Loving this app so much coz i can talk to my friends even if im not playing wow.. but 1 thing i don't like is i cant delete those old messages.. everytime i delete the convo and wants to talk to the same person the old messages are still there.. could you please make a delete conversation.. as in totally deleted messages please and i’ll give 5 stars... Glad it was released, but have connection issues. First off let me say that I was waiting for this for ages, so I was very pleased that the WoW armory was no longer the only way to chat with people on my friends list. The only issue that I have may very well be related to my mobile network, but is troublesome regardless. I will get messages from a friend on the desktop app, and when I click on it to respond, I am suddenly forced to reconnect and put into a queue due to a high wait list. How did I receive the message if I wasn’t already online?

Hearthstone online mode. Downloaded this app so I could change my hearthstone status from offline to online. Doesn’t seem to work very well. Shows me as online but still can’t accept or send challenges to friends.

wont even let me verify my account. i have tried every platform possible to make an account and even to the extent of having my friend make an account for me but the robot verification is extremely bugged out. not only does it first start off with only saying you need to match 5 photos and then randomly saying you need to match 20. afterwards it doesn’t even let you continue to make your account. i literally cannot continue on to play Overwatch without making a battlenet account. fix this bug please and thank you

3RD messenger. Third too review this app sooo handy messenger but for bliz gamers

Useless App. When trying to log in it asks for the authentication code which doesn’t exist anymore. It’s a cycle of that will never complete and waste your time. I tried to submit a ticket, but now that’s stuck in a loop of doom after completing the captchas. It’s best just to wait until Microsoft buys out Blizzard and hopefully things can go back to the good old days when blizzard was good.

Improvement. If would be great if it had the old msn messenger function to have pop up notification when friends are online. It seems I can only check their status when I logged on.

Keep in touch on the go!. Great way to keep in touch with all of your Battle.net friends. I love being able to message them or see where they’re at and jump in to join when I get home.

Not great. While it’s good to finally get an app for Battle.net contacts and overall it looks good, it falls short of other messaging apps. • Sometimes text lagging behind on the new iOS • The app constantly going “offline” if you switch screens and taking a long time to reconnect • No character name integration with WoW • No custom filter or sort (aside from by activity) of friends • A broader issue with the overall Battle.net system is the lack of ability to choose custom avatars, but as you can’t even change your avatar in the app, it probably doesn’t apply. Has potential to be good, but would use an alternative app instead currently.

Time/Battery visibility. Suggestion to change the time and battery in the status bar to white as they are quite hard to see at the moment (black on dark blue).

So slow. The app is unbelievably slow at doing anything, and constantly tries to reconnect

Waiting. It’s. Really good and useful app but if someone were to connect to a different accounts by mistake it’s to bad because you’ll have to wait a year to connect a different one

Authenticating takes ages. Like fr every time I boot up the app it’s a solid 3-4 secs of authenticating

Fix it….properly. Simply doesn’t work anymore since the integration. Always an error message, then doesn’t let you log in.

Finally!. Been waiting for this for so long and was literally the best news to wake up to. Thank you Blizzard for continuing to listen to fan feedback and for working hard to make things happen. ^-^

Lines Full. Can’t log in

Room for improvement. It was so exciting when I first starting playing Wow to be able to see who was online and chat with friends. But the app needs to be dynamic - it always has to reconnect if you tab out. Also you can’t see what toon your friends are on, only location and server (who needs to know what server they are on through a chat app) lol

Where are my friend requests. One star. I can’t see or accept friend requests. Help tips: trouble shooting- not helpful. Trash.

GROUP CHAT. Just personal chat is available. Would be better if there is GROUP CHAT

Terrible comparability with password managers. Awful user experience trying to go through the I forgot password system in this app. You’ll wind up getting your damn account locked. Total garbage

App doesn’t even work. On my pc it says I have friends and chats but on mobile same account it says I have no friends and no chats fix it please??

Do not advertise in push notifications. My Lock Screen… It’s free realestate! People will just disable notifications entirely cause iOS makes that easy rather than opening the app, signing in (why did it sign me out?), finding settings and turning off news and offers. Then the Authenticator notifications won’t come through.

Never works,. Always have issues with this and making features in the game limited because you have to have this is frustrating

Disturbingly unlisted under Notifications. Basic app, without notifications. Expect to miss messages from your squad if you rely on this for chats outside of games.

The app reloads constantly. I can’t chat to a person if there’s a reload period of 1 minute every time I open it. Tester on two different iPhones.

What happened?. App used to be fantastic. Now it takes forever to load chat after receiving notifications and doesn’t display sent messages.

Unable to login. When you go to login it takes you to the Microsoft login but you can click the email address, opening in another browser doesn’t link back to the app. I’ve tried for at least 20min and it doesn’t work, disappointed you can login any other way.

Social panel. It’s missing from this app

Great idea with poor execution.. It appears on surface to be everything we wanted to remain social with our friends through Blizzard games, but in using the app it feels that the connectivity is far below satisfactory. It struggles to stay online and regularly fails to post comments or loses your comments deep into the nether without much hope of walking back to the disappointed corpse. Please address the issue promptly, and have a winning app.

Buggiest app Award (no exaggeration). Always tries to reconnect when opening but often have to switch in and out of the app for it to connect. Messages often show in the wrong order or missing until closing and reopening. Often doesn't log in first time. App is EXTREMELY buggy and hasn't improved since the day I installed it years ago.

Need clan chat. I’ll only give 5 stars when that happens. Else all good. Nice job Blizz!

Doesn’t load anything. I expect better from a company like Blizzard. App doesn’t load anything. Tried reinstalling, restating device, everything that I could have thought of but no luck. How did this app made it to app store, this need serious QA before that.

Cookie fault. "Your browser's cookies are disabled. Please reenable cookies to continue." This is from the app itself.

Slow, buggy and bad. Garbage app always telling me I can't log in because of a line. Takes 10 seconds to type in the keys I pressed.

Needs to be fixed. Every time I tap on the app, no matter what, if I'm on wifi or mobile data. I always get the message "hmm... something went wrong". This app won't even connect.

Call off duty. Hi all I’ve had all call of duty’s on my pc played them all heaps I’ve been off game for 2 weeks come back on and battle.net have stuffed my profile. Everything gone , my hard work for denascus camo , dark eather, and now the vanguard camo. All the bundles I’ve brought on 3 versions of cod. I will be taking battle.net to courts to sue. I put in my log in details and it come up to update so I did , then it comes up to buy all games again. So 1 star given because I can’t give -1000

Worst Authenticator. Should’ve just left the Authenticator app alone instead of forcing people to use this when they don’t want it.

Useless app. When signing in, it will ask you to go to the Bnet Authenticator which will fail to work. It’s like going into a vicious cycle. Absolutely pointless. Blizzard need to fix the Authenticator instead of forcing users with this pointless app.

Great for following friends during work!. Although you might have some issue with the friends requests you can easily update your friends through the app ^^

PLEASE FIX NOW!. I had the original authenticator app and it was crystal clean and simple. Now I attempted to hop on it for my friends account to help her out. Instead it says that the app is closing down and moving to Battle.Net. I download the battle net app and try to login only for it to say use the authenticator app to login. So now I’m literally unable to do anything…

Can’t make account. Impossible to make a new account go to verify dine it 10 times now and nothing

Cannot use numbers button. You cannot type numbers in with this app. Maybe you could before but not anymore. The numbers button does not change the keyboard. Pretty useless given usernames and passwords both have numbers in them generally. Why is this function broken on the iPAD yet works fine on iPHONE. Did a developer even test this works. Very weird

Perfect just like steam. Really good app helps me with the battle.net desktop and I’ve been here since 2020 but pls add being able to add apple balance into battle.net balance through battle.net. Makes it so that my apple gift cards aren’t just sitting there being pointless

Typical Blizzard. Won’t let me log in. Sends a code to the Authenticator. Authenticator opens with a message saying I need to use battle.net. Close that message and it gives me an error, preventing me from logging in. Great job blizzard you continue to slide into continuous self destructive behaviour chasing corporate profits.

Has bugs. Sometimes it doesn’t do a notification on message when screen is locked. Other times cannot connect to server at all despite of being ok a second ago. Would have expected better from Blizzard but then we all know good quality doesn’t seem to be on their agenda anymore

Stupid. When I tried to do authentication it said to many attempts after 1 try and it said I did it right won’t let me get in my account and won’t send me a message to get back into it I don’t recommend the game anyways it’s horrible played the first one

I have to install this to keep my account secure, but this comes with much more, all useless features to me... Please give is the option of keeping a simple security tool instead of a chat client with a bolted on security option...

Won’t let me sign in and stay signed in after enabling 2fa. The authentication code doesn’t work unless I tap on the notification on my phone and approve it if I input it on the battle.net website or launcher is says invalid code

Authenticator does not work offline. The Authenticator is not useful when you are offline in this app. Please fix to allow offline code generation. All I get is a spinning battle net wheel of death. Thanks!

Problem. I made an account on pc and when it needed the authentication I pressed it said whoops something went wrong too many attempts and nothing will work

Wish I could give this zero stars.. This app is one of the worst things I’ve ever downloaded. I got stuck in an endless loop of it sending me to the website to login and having to answer one of those stupid puzzle games but the app still will not log me in. It’s like you don’t want people to access your games. Made me want to cancel my account entirely.

Garbage. Can’t add anyone or receive any notifications despite having everything enabled. Friend requests sent a week ago by both parties have vanished into the void but can’t resend cause it’s already been done once. Stuck loading the social screen for over 30 minutes. It’s just a hot piece of garbage that should be removed and thrown back into the dumpster they hauled it out of.

Authenticator issues. Security is critically important for accounts with so much digital value. Have had multiple bugs with the authenticator in this app that required it’s removal from the account. Plus, they are sending push notifications that are effectively advertisements.

I guarantee you botted all the 5 star reviews. Trashy glitchy app I was told to download as a replacement for the authenticator, now I’m told I’ll be signed out and absolutely nothing is happening, letting me absolutely nothing on battlenet because I enabled the authenticator. This is trash as usual. No offence to the programmers, it’s clearly either the heads and the CEOs dogging this and not making sure these kinds of 2007 glitches get fixed

Fix your app. Trying to get authenticate. Says use mobile app. So log in the app guess what log in to app also need authentication hello? Don’t even work just use other app as authenticater like before. Because this sucks

Authenticator app is now sending spam notifications. Although this is nominally an Authenticator app, Activision now uses it to spam you with push notifications about sales.

Useless. Like others have said, you need both Battle.net apps but both are useless, the authenticator doesn't even give a code you can use so you can't even login to transfer over.

Unsatisfied Customer. I’ve spent weeks trying to deactivate my authenticator due to not having my old cell phone number anymore. I’ve sent numerous tickets to no avail and there isn’t even a phone number to call anymore. Terrible service. I’ve been playing since 2007. The responses to the tickets were useless. I sent detailed info on my account. I really do hope they deactivate the authenticators tomorrow so I can finally play wow again.

I don’t want the kitchen sink. I don’t like chat apps on my phone, I can’t turn off notifications for groups I’m in (I just get error: “Hmm… something went wrong”), I really wish the authenticator didn’t get bundled.

One problem…. Every time I ( or other people) try to look at a friend’s profile it won’t let me get out so I have to restart the app in order to get out of said profile. Anyway great app!

Why is this so broken?. I have a great connection, but if I swap out of the chat window, it has to go through a while “Reconnecting…” loop which forces me to close the app to see a chat reply. Upon loading the app, I have to wait for 30-40 seconds while it shows “Still reconnecting…” You’re literally diffusing the point of having the app in the first place.

Crashes all day everyday.. This app is an absolute joke. It crashes non stop. It will never load new pages. It’s pathetic, Blizzard has so much money and time and they can’t even get the login pages to work. Whoever got paid to work on this should be ashamed of themselves.

Needs constant rebooting. It used to be a good app. But now I have to keep restarting the app to reconnect to the chat. If you go to another app and come back, it won’t refresh messages and is stuck on “reconnecting”. It will never reconnect. You have to close and open it again to send and receive new messages. Then today I suddenly I don’t have a friends list on the mobile app anymore. However, it’s fine on PC. I restarted the app and my phone even but that does not fix the issue.

Very stupid authentication flow. Hey Intelligent devs tell me something how am i suppose to log into battle.net app in my phone when you pop up in-app-browser (in my case safari) to ask me to login using my creds and there after go on to ask me to enter authenticator code or approve on authenticator when that number is now being masked by this in-app-browser. I cant go to see that number without ‘Cancel’ on in-app-browser which cancels that authentication flow and session. I wonder if you guy even test the apps that you push out otherwise basic smoke testing would have given it away on this bug.

Love it but needs to fix bugs. Keeps resetting the mature filter after I keep turning it off. Other than that it’s a good way to keep in touch with people, but please fix this I’m tired of turning it off every time I check my messages.

It is a decent about but... Its a decent app but idk what happened. Now my visuals are messed up. When my friends are online on the game on the app it shows offline for so many days. When i try to go offline it goes offline but my visuals still show me as online. Please fix this bug.

Buggy friend adds. Sometimes btag adds are buggy and don’t clear. Have to relog to get them to clear... overall a super basic app. Wish it was smarter and had “recent adds” for those of us with big friends lists.

Group Messaging Problems. When opening the app directly to a group chat from the background, the messages get jumbled and show the incorrect author or the messages. The user is forced to reload the chat window by going out and back in, which fixes the issue.

It’s great for what it is, but I would like to see notifications.. I always have to check for something new every day, but if there were notifications I would only have to respond to a few people.

Good when it works. My app will randomly stop working, it will have my account showing away and it will keep this same people on my btag in the status they were when it stopped updating. For example at the moment it shows one of my friends in the same dungeon he was in 2 weeks ago and still online.

Can’t log into my account. I just made my account and when i tried to log in it said “Password is incorrect”… So i went to change it and it says “Can’t be the same password as your current password”… so i changed it and tried again and it now says the same email i’ve been using the whole time is incorrect… idk what to do and all i want to do is play overwatch with my friends…

Pretty good but.... The reason I give it 3 stars is because I really dislike the fact that when using this app it always shows my online status as “Away on Mobile”. If blizz fixes the app so it doesnt always show me as online (or away) when Im not using the app or the app is not open I would like it a lot more. Should be done how discord does their mobile app.

ERROR MESSAGE. I’m unable to log in to my bnet phone app. It still give me the same error message - “Update your privacy settings to continue using this app. To regain access to this app, re-enable the social setting marked as required in your Account Settings. Visit Account Settings”. What can i do with this?

Long overdue.. Blizzard, thank you. I don’t know why it took so long as I’m sure it was a highly requested application. But now it’s here and hopefully the foundation to more features. Would like to see a companion app for diablo 3 to easily navigate characters, gear, and threads on mobile.

Smh. Purchased 11 loot boxes over this app, didn’t receive them in game. My Xbox account is linked and my account is verified. So I am down $10 and have no loot boxes. Went to their support and they advise that I restart my Xbox (that didn’t work) or contact Xbox support as if it is their problem. I can’t get a refund for my money, and restarting the game and console does nothing. Overall the app is so unorganized and their support system is awful

Gold standard for messaging apps. This honestly is one of the best messaging apps for any game platform. Smooth, clean, and elegant. I wouldn’t be surprised if there is some Apple design support in there. High quality app!

Nice too finally have it, but we need more.. An app like this is something we’ve wanted for a while. Finally having it is great, but it hardly lets us do much. Talking to friends is great, but I think we should be able to read blizzard news, see special deals, etc. Other than that, it’s great: simple layout, no bugs that I’ve seen.

weird. ever since i got this app i only used it for overwatch. but i can’t get into overwatch because whenever i have to do the “sms protection” thing, it NEVER lets me put my phone number in. it says “please put phone number” when i did. this is so ridiculous and i hope this problem gets fixed.

Add spectator mode.. Designing a tool just for chat is pretty boring, or should I say not creative enough. I know steam have a function allowing you to watch your friends, but that only works on PC. If you guys can accomplish this on mobile device, I’m sure the app will be fantastic and well-known.

Great app. Works smoothly, and I like being able to contact my wow friends to stay connected with them and see when they’re on when not being home.

Did someone say Thunderfurry, Blessed Blade of the Windseeker?. This app gets an easy 5. It does almost everything you wanna do when AFK, however, It does not have a create status message. So sad they left out that functionality, but I have high hopes for Blizzard.

When we I press “make new free account” on my Nintendo switch it puts an ERROR and no matter what I try it’s always an ERROR im supposed to be waiting till my birthday but didn’t wait just to try and see if I could make an account early or so I could know what I’m doing but always an error no matter

Always having problems. When I try to open battlenet on my computer it opens like it’s logging me in then turn into a see through outline of a box. Then I just try to open the game which I have downloaded and it asks for authentication from me saying what is in an empty white box. I’ve downloaded the app and did all the authentication steps but it doesn’t do anything to make Warcraft 3 work

Permanently Online Bug. Does anyone else have this bug where sometimes your status is changed to online and you can’t change it back without uninstalling and reinstalling this app? Its insanely annoying and I wish it would be fixed :(

Blizzard messaging system. Good app that differentiates its sound notification and use links. Gifs and url links needs to be properly integrated for mobile tho

Never works anymore. I have an iPhone 14 pro, so I don’t think it’s a problem with the phone. The app constantly won’t display correct information. It’s stuck displaying info from 3 weeks ago. It acts like it’s up to date and running, but the info is always off. It constantly does this, did it on my old phone, my iPad, and my friends phone. It’s completely useless to find out if friends are online.

Friend invites stuck cannot decline. The app is okay for what it does. The one bug that’s annoying is that it remembers friend invites that were long since cleared via the computer. When I try to decline them on the app (the only option available to remove them from the app) I get the error “Hmm... something went wrong.”

Could be 5 stars if.... There’s no way to report bugs or contact support in the app. Someone sent me a friend request which I declined, and it keeps showing as a pending request, when I try to decline it again, there’s an error I can't do anything about...

Can't login. So, when you go to login on the landing page of this app there is no option of use one of the login services you might have chosen at setup. Like Google or Facebook etc.. So since I used Google as my login, I can't access my account through the app. I can tell the icons for Google etc. are supposed to be there, but they aren't.

I love Blizzard, I hate the app. I love Blizzard, I play games like Overwatch and Destiny 2 to no end, but this app doesn't do this service justice. Constantly needs to reconnect, nothing is smooth and is not good at sending messages on anything but a perfect connection. I give it an extra star for the functionality of at least being able to see what my friends are doing on what game.

Amazing but I wish there was some more. I really love this app but I really wish there was a feature that would allow you to see your captured clips in Overwatch and what not. Other than that it’s a solid app

Still no mobile notifications.. Even though there are setting for mobile notification they do not come through. I miss a lot of chat messages because of this. Please fix this.

Needs iPad Support. I keep waiting for this application to add iPad support. A scaled up version iPhone view is not the same as a fully compatible application. I’d love to see something similar to what is available from the Blizzard launcher social section on PC platforms. Until that’s included this software while good will not be great.

Landscape View for iPad/KB??. When do you all plan on adding Landscape/Rotate view when on an iPad with a Keyboard?? Been waiting for a few years now and am surprised this feature hasn’t been implemented yet - other than that, all is well!

Great App but…. The app is great in terms of communication with friends and the Blizzard shop. However, the Authenticator can’t read when I have to sign into the account. It keeps saying no login request

Good app, but missing some features. I like how I can talk in here instead of janky chat in game. However, would love ability to post pics as well. There’s a gif button but no img button and this feels a bit backwards

Multi tasking. How i love my tume on the computer but visiting my family while having this app i can tell them why i cant log on. Its helpful and the same thing but cant play games.

Would be better. Would be a higher star rating but I got disconnected from hearthstone mobile and was forced to download this app because they replaced the old app with no notice. So screw it. 2 stars for messing up my game for no reason other than you wanted the Authenticator on a different app.

Not bad but glitchy lately. I can’t ever tell when my friends are on anymore because now the app is just stuck on showing them in a Que at all times, or it just won’t say that they’re in a game or anything. Just weird

No Voicechat. I downloaded this assuming I could use voice chat in an app that advertises being able to keep up with your chats and friends to coordinate games/strategies. Wild to assume people would only do so through text on a mobile device. If there is no voice chat, this app is completely useless to me. Uninstalled shortly after installing due to missing key feature.

This app is trash. I have no idea why it has 5 stars.. It’s broken, it doesn’t work correctly half the time, messages stop appearing as sent, your message displays as if your friend messaged you instead. Now I can’t direct message one of my friends mobile because it says “reconnecting” and the app crashes even tho I’m on WiFi and can message others other then them.

Accusing them of spying for foreign governments such as China. Pay attention to how much information this stupid app asks you for just to play a game adress phone number full name and I can’t even delete it from my pc this is a data harvester and will ask for a federal investigation into this app stay away from them as of now if you can avoid blizzard and battle net I would do so

Currency never worked. I buy and get gifted coins off battle net but it doesn’t transfer to the game so I can’t buy anything of the actual game and now credits are now doing the same thing but the only difference I can use my credits

Games. This might just be me but Blizzard should create and release a phone app for Diablo 2 and 3 (including expansions). Diablo 2 was probably the better of the games but it would be amazing on the cell phone platform.

Login problems.. Overall its a great app, keeps me updated and its very organized. The only problem I had was loging-in, it sent me to different websites at random. & the authenticator is a bit rigged.

Just signed into my account i don’t remember making lol. I wanted to change my tag in overwatch. super easy to sign in after forgetting my password and setting up the authenticator app felt really nice and secure 👍🏼🔒 approved.

Great app! I’d like to see a shop though.. Great app! Nice to be able to stay connected with my friends on Blizzard, although I think it would be awesome if they added a store tab so you could purchase a game or gift something to a friend.

Unable to see shop. So ive had this app for a while but recently i havent been able to view the shop on mobile so i would have to use the website, i just think this is really inconvenient even when i have my app up to date and good internet

Bad app. I’ve had this app for years on three different phones and it’s terrible. It’s forever reloading chat as if it cannot keep up with real time. I am continually having to restart the app to keep up with a conversation and it’s so wonky. I would expect a company with as many resources as Blizzard to be able to make a simple, functioning conversation app.

Takes way too long to load. I have perfect connection when I’m on wifi & at times full bars on my phone…. App still loads messages for a few minutes if not ever until I restart the app.

Don’t receive notifications. iOS 13.4 - iPhone XR - notifications are turned on via the app and the phone settings. I don’t receive push notifications, banners, or any audio alert. Even if I’m in the app, I won’t know I have a message unless I click on my pre existing chat history, and then any messages they sent since the last time come through.
