Very disappointed. Testing it at the office by practicing a couple minutes of my seminar presentation with my iPhone 7 in my shirt pocket to see if it would pick up the sound through my shirt, I felt good that I would get my 1.5 hour presentation captured in the Pro version I had just bought. Just before starting my speech, I put my phone on airplane mode stuck it in my shirt pocket and began my talk. When I looked at the app after my speech I only had about 5 minutes of it. What happened? What is the capacity of this app? How many minutes will it transcribe?

This Is Simply Wonderful!. As a writer, I have sought to find an app that helped me to get my “inner voice” down on paper. This is the app and it works extremely well, is easy to operate, and captures my thoughts beautifully.

This App Is A Perfect Fit For Your Recording Needs. Powerful, simple and efficient. The speech recognition works great and it motivated me to retrain Siri to understand me better; now it works flawlessly! I absolutely love the ability to have three ongoing dictations simultaneously (I wish there were more slots available) and I am able to jump to any topic and append thoughts on the fly. Does not work at all.. Does not work at all. No text regardless how clear you speak.

Best by far I have tried. Translation accuracy is good, easy use, just right amount of customization. Does not try to do too much.

This is THE BEST I have seen.. Oh wow, this is the best Voice-to-text application I have ever seen, and I have tried at least s dozen like this. I have been able to use it without having to re-hit the mic button upwards of 10 minutes, and it continues to transcribe what I dictate. This is perfect for students who want to dictate papers on the go. You can do your papers in the car, you can write memos, all kinds of things. You don't even have to add the punctuation, although you better do it later. There's only one annoying thing: the ding at the end of recording. When you hit stop, it dings. That is a little bit annoying in a little bit useless. But the fact that it doesn't stop after 30 seconds is amazing. You don't lose your concentration because you feel like you did not hit the microphone and time. This is pretty accurate. I'm not sure how accurate it is in comparison with the on the go app that Dragon by Nuance is, but it is very good, and only cost three dollars for the pro version, and well worth it. Dragon cost $15 a month, and I find it not worth the bang for the buck. I would highly recommend this. I hope the developer gets to sell this to 10,000 people, or even 100,000 people. He's got a great product – just get rid of the ding sound that the software makes, when you hit the stop button.

Pretty good app but weak on initial support. Launching Dictate Pro immediately produced a “Recognition not available (No internet!)” message even though I’m connected (writing this review) and clicking the Dictate button didn’t do anything. Clicking “Help” took me to a macOS support page (even though I installed the app on an iPhone), so I ended up googling iOS dictation info and got the app running on my own. The app actually works great! It’s quick, forgiving of minor background noise, and isn’t a resource hog. This is impressive enough for a four star rating (in spite of an abysmal initial experience).

Very good free app.. Dictate pro is proving to be a very good dictation software for the iPad. I don’t like the fact that I can’t edit on the fly by saying control words like go back three words or select previous three words or delete that as I could when I was using Dragon speak. But this app picks up my dictation without me having to speak very loudly and as long as I pay attention to my enunciation and pronunciation he does a good job for what I wanted to do

Did not like it. I could be speaking directly into iPad and nothing records. It records words sporadically and oftentimes incorrect.

Text book. I’m trying to write a book and I’m not sure this is the right app for this endeavor.

This dictate app is excellent for recording and typing reports such as what I’m doing now in a very professional way the app is excellent to capture the correct testimony that will be presented in a court of law on a very important case or cases I give it a five star rating and review.

Applause. This is a superb product. Several years ago, probably 15, when Dragon was first introduced, I tried the product, and it was probably 70% accurate, and I tried the dragon through the years with each of the new iterations. The latest iteration was pretty good on my PC. I am now dictating this review on my iPad. I am very please with the accuracy and dependability of this product, and I recommend it to many people.

Simple, predictable, reliable and all the functionality I need.. The title says it all. I love this app. It has been a godsend to my workflow. My only wish would be for more dictation records - three is a bit limiting.

Good app. I’m hearing impaired so I use this app as a way to communicate. Overall it’s really easy to use and gets the job done. However I would like to see the speed of transcribing increase to keep up with the people that tend to talk fast

App looks like it will work great for some things One is getting the allto be charge this is not. I increased text side and it’s still tiny How do I know when this thing is working and how do I know when it’s attaching to that versus the Siri which is so much worse which is why I paid for the Dictate Pro how do I do that these unclarity‘s are the issues I’m having because it’s very confusing I would imagine it’s something that is probably either addressed in some part of the training which is also the issue that it is like difficult to figure out what’s what on the app if it’s just beer but like you don’t hear did you ever set it up you know I found one set up and flipped it up and I did it but it’s really just shooting blanks in the dark and I’m sure there’s probably a location where all this information is but it should be like right there where I can’t miss it versus where I’m writing this to you because I can’t find it so couple little things just to clean up I think you did a great job overall and I think that he probably even did the things that I’m not sure of and if you didn’t need to but I’m pretty confident he would’ve because I see it there. Use it to write novels. Pretty solid app. Not quite as accurate as Dragon. I have a southern accent. This captures about 60% of what I say. Not that great outside with light traffic (for folks who walk and talk). I use it to dictate first draft of novels. I’ve recommended it to others.

Love This App. The ability to dictate thoughts and observations on the fly, then email them to myself for further refinement is powerful. Activity reports, reports, ideas, etc. are recorded before they are forgotten. Highly recommend.

This is sooooooo awesome!‼️‼️‼️. This is sooooooo awesome! I was having CONSTANT problems with the inaccuracies with my Default microphone on my IPhone. The free or less expensive version of this app was great to except for the constant commercials . That is why I upgraded to the “Pro” version. Everything is clear and easy to use and very glad to be able to use it. They are virtually no mistakes and speech to text.

Junk. Absolute waste of money. Worse than iPhone standard talk to text. Immediately regretted this purchase and have to wait for it to be official to request a refund, which is absolutely the plan. Very disappointed.

Works Okay. Fairly new to this app so take my review with a grain of salt. Good conversion of what I said to text... so far. I anticipate using it a lot so time will no doubt generate a more robust review.

Works great. The app works great - provided you’ve got reliable web links for the sharing. Make sure you review the app though, or else you’ll get persistent, unwelcome and annoying pop-ups requesting you please review it. If I get another request to review it I’ll delete it and find something else.
