Love this game. I can’t say enough about how well this game is made. It’s challenging yet not demanding so its actually fairly relaxing to play. It’s done wonders for my anxiety. Been looking for a game like this. Thanks Devs!

Keeps crashing. After getting through to the second stage and opening the hideout I crashed. I can not open the hideout without the app closing immediately. I can still play the levels but without all the features seems pointless.

Could Be Interesting. I downloaded this game for just a quick casual time waster, and it certainly feels like that: quick and casual. The stealth mechanics are somewhat interesting, however the grind to get chests, which randomly drop the materials required to get to new content is quite tiresome. Additionally the stealth sometimes is completely screwed by bad tile placement and you cannot win or complete a run, yet still are forced into running into a guard, or conversely just have new cards come down and lose immediately.

One of the few good free games on App Store. Yeah, you can pay $2 to unlock, but that just removes adds/waits for opening chests. But otherwise it is a fun completely free game.

The BEST. One of the best games, PERIOD, that i have played. Its reliably challenging and super addictive. The learning curve is pretty rough and it might be easy to put it down in the beginning but if you stick with it, I PROMISE you wont be sorry. When its all said and done this game requires some work but take some time and you will feel like you've truly mastered something.

Utterly charming. The art, the sound effects, the references to card crawl, everything about this game is vastly pleasing. It’s harder than the other two games, but learning a new tactic, finding out about a new way to accomplish something is that much more satisfying. And this from someone who is really lousy at this kind of game. But I wish the devs would give the option to play it in German!

Love it. From the art style to the gameplay I love everything in this game. Just wish I could take advantage of the whole iPhone X screen.

There’s Only One Way To Play. Other reviews have gone on about the lack of variety, every game feeling identical to the last, the rather dull way the app shakes money out of you, and the absolutely abysmal tutorial, but no one has mentioned the strategy and skilled needed to play the game. The game is designed for you to use one strategy and only one strategy — extinguish torches and save every sneak card until the end. That’s how you get the most points. The problem? This strategy is entirely based on luck. You either wait for the deck to generate the cards you need to win, or you don’t and the game ends. As far as design goes, this is a terrible practice.

Great follow up to Card Crawl. Really interesting take on a card based dungeon crawler. Also nice to see the dev support the game with FREE content update. This is a premium game with no free to play nonsense, no IAPs, and no secondary currency/timer gates.

Beautiful game. Its a great game.. and heres the "but" .. I understand its a strategy game and it should be hard but i feel like there should be a way we players can earn items without really completing each level because at the moment its very difficult to get through this part im on ,thank you

I really enjoyed this game. From the music and sound effects, to the art of the cards. This game is a good way to spend time. I like how you actually have to think of your moves each time you click along your path because everything changes at each point. I think sometimes some of the things aren’t explained very well, like with the hideout and how to actually do the contracts, I get confused a bit. Aside from that the game is quite fun. I’d recommend it, 9/10!

Great game. Wonderful update to an already great game. The additional challenges are fun to complete and you get to experience the level as different thieves. Each thief has interesting animations when you run out of stealth. I highly recommend this game for those who like one player card games with a twist!

Way more fun than expected. I didn’t think I would like Card Thief but I was pleasantly surprised. Card Thief was an addictive came with beautiful graphics and captivating music. It’s one of those games that gets in your head and you still hear the music even after you put the phone down. Eventually the game got repetitive and there were no more challenges. If you’re OK with spending $2.99 for a few weeks of addictive entertainment, this game is definitely for you.

Fantastic. Fantastic game. Really well thought out, fun and brainy, with excellent graphics and animations. I’ve gotten my money’s worth many times over, but I’m not going to rebuy it as I am being asked to do after redownloading it.

Frustrating tutorial. I have never been so frustrated learning how to play a game. I love the style and theme and want to enjoy the game but I don’t see myself having the patience to “figure out” how to actually play or what the interactions in game mean.

Screen error iPhone 12 mini. Great game but I can’t see the number of cards left in the deck or path difficulty on the iPhone 12 mini - the cut out on the top of the screen for the camera/mic/etc hides those numbers.

An overall great game.. I found this game awhile back, maybe 1 year ago. Ever sense then, I’ve been hooked on it. The game takes something that I personally find relatively uninteresting (Solitare), and makes in an enjoyable experience. With it’s great art style, that’s choice of colors fits the mood of the game perfectly; the equipment cards makes the game even more interesting, by using its effects, it let’s you devise strategies that you couldn’t do otherwise without them. And I Love the hideout mechanic, it allows for a unique way to play the game so it wont get stale. And while the music Isn't a large feature, it’s solid non the less. I could nitpick at some minor things like the lack of unique enemies, and how all the areas look the same(excluding the chests). But I’m not gonna. Because all in all, if you love stealth, this is a must get; it’s free so why not?

Under rated game. I never review games. This is like, my 2nd one. But you guys did a fantastic job. This is such an addicting game. Absolutely love everything about it. The strategy, the ascetics, the sounds. Just everything.

Must buy. Being a fan of dishonored I found this game very close to it in style. Gameplay is excellent too

Pretty neat, but under-documented. This is an original, nuanced game, and nicely executed. I’ve certainly gotten my money’s worth. Some features—the Hideout for one—are confusing and undocumented. I also find that I’ve plateaued: the effective employ of some of the higher equipment cards is hard to sort out, and I’m missing some critical clue how to pivot strategy to (much) higher scoring.

Never has sneaking around in a 3 by 3 arena been more intense. First off, this game is worth your time. Insanely fun, great art style, and gameplay is around 8 minutes or less long. The mechanics of the game: A deck of cards, consisting of guards, gold rooms, traps, and a chest of items being your main objective. When the deck is empty the exit card is brought in. The catch is the longer you leave the chest be, the better quality it becomes. And the better quality it becomes the harder it is to steal. You can only have the contents of the chest if you escape with it. The rest of the mechanics would just sound too confusing to put here Now, ads. Ads are only watchable when wanting to open a chest early. No cramming ads down your thought every 15 seconds. I tried Card crawler, not as good as Card Thief. Fair warning

This game is amazing. Beautiful art, sound design, and the gameplay is simple yet engaging. Definitely worth it to but the full game.

Almost Perfect, Nearly Worth It. This game has some really cool concepts, and the gameplay itself is really fun, but it can get a little repetitive. Though I think the art and animation is spectacular (love the style), I think the game needs al little bit more. My suggestion is that you make it to where you can team up or go against your friends. You could make the arena twice as big, and the goal when you’re working together is the same basic game where you have to escape with the chest, but there is two chests, and if one of you gets caught, you both do. When you are competing with your friend it should be where you are still trying to make it out without being caught, but the player with the most gems/ gold/ coins (I don’t know if they have an official name or not) and there is only one chest, which gives you bonus points. Thank you for your time, I hope you take these suggestions to mind, or maybe even just read this at all (it took 10 minutes). Sincerely, a grateful player, StormCrow

Amazing Game. I love this game! I love the artwork and the game play. Every level is just a bit different due to the card placement. It requires a bit of planning, but not too much to be frustrating. The levels are short enough to not get annoying or grindy. I’m nearing the end of the content, so of course all I can ask for is more content. Different ability cards and enemies.

Great game, but needs fix for iPhone mini. I love this game, but on my iPhone 12 mini the top of the screen, including the current path value, is cut off. It’s still playable, there’s just more guesswork and less skill involved.

Card Thief. My oh my! Card Thief is EXCELLENT, but what was even better was Arnold Rauers very quick response to the issue of the game crashing on my iPad 2. He suggested turning on the power save option in the Card Thief options, so the card animations wouldn't bog the game down to a crawl. That did the trick! Anybody having crashing issues should do this right away. Now, about the game. I've played Card Crawl every day since I downloaded it, and I can say Card Thief is just as good, if not better. Great graphics, sound, control, and gameplay. It's definitely harder than Card Thief, but that's ok with me. There's a little more luck involved when playing Card Thief, but not enough to throw the fun and playability of the game off. All in all a very good purchase for $2.99. Thanks Arnold Rauers and Tiny Touch Tales for this wonderful game of thievery. Keep up the good work!

Caution!. This was one of my all time favorite games. Many of this developers games are really good. But I bought this (and others) a few years ago, and hadn’t played again until recently. The game is now unplayable without buying it a second time. App support for this developer is (as of the time I’m writing this), broken. Good game… if you only have to buy it once. I should also note that there are no additional functions, levels or DLC which would justify a paywall.

I’m obsessed. I really love this game— & I want more! more levels, more incentives, more variations in the Hideout games. There is so much potential for expanding on this game. The gameplay itself is so enjoyable and very tricky at times. I love puzzles and it really gets my gears turning on how to figure out the best strategy. There are tricks I’ve learned and some I haven’t quite figured out yet. Also, I love all of the artwork so much. Really, this game is great, very smartly done. A few small tweaks (e.g. no more triple-taps to open treasures, please) and some additional goals/achievements would breathe new life into this game. Like the inventory of stolen goods— it doesn’t appear to get you anything or unlock any achievements (yet?). I’d like to be able to cash those in to get new tool cards, or win special cards if you get the final high score on a Hideout game, etc. I look forward to future updates! 😊💜

A Rare Gem. Fun, smart, and a macabre design, this is easily one of the most genuinely fun games I’ve played in a while. I even bought the premium for $1.99 which is nothing and have not seen an advertisement since. I did have to watch the instructions twice! Lol

Almost perfect. Great game. Wonderful graphics and great concept. But it gets a little repetitive. My suggestion is that the developers create an option to build decks to challenge your friends and yourself.

thief. that game is so cool, I'm playing in pc thief dark project( so good stealth game) and if this game was in steampunk i think it was from the thief world but from other side of life

Thanks for the update!. I left a great review for the initial release and the update has polished things up a bit. Great game! 5 stars. Update with new characters is great!

Creative and addictive game. Picked up on a recommendation but stayed for the fun. Simple to understand mechanics lead to an enjoyable experience in this stealth strategy game. Can still be enjoyed on free to play but worth upgrading to support this developer. Would recommend to play on long flights if you like stealth strategy.

Fun for hours. I love the game... just one question... To upgrade the black jack card I need to use it 3 times in one heist... but it can only be used 2 times ....... so ... what's up with that !!???

Mediocre Puzzler. More like a "best path" puzzle game than a solitaire game. The card aspect only shows up insofar as there are a fixed number of cards in a castle, so if you draw all the hard ones first the rest of the deck is wimpy and visa versa. Cool art but weak underlying mechanic that sounds cooler than it is. Ultimately not bad, but not engaging.

Great concept and beautiful art… has potential. Game has lots of potential, but doesn’t offer much motivation to persevere. Either advance along the map, number the “levels”, add new cards, increase stealth/challenge, or offer different layouts (4x4, 2x2, or 3x4) to reward player for playing same game over and over. They are onto something really good, just needs a little more oomph than collecting chests.

Fast-Paced Roguelike. This is a pretty good game. Honestly, with the new model, there’s no reason not to try for free and then decide if you want to pay. Love the card aesthetic, and the art in general. Infinitely replay-able strategic mini-rogue.

Fabulous Developer. This is much better than most mobile games and much better than most card games. Tiny Touch Tales seems way above the competition in all aspects including art, design, mechanics, music, sound effects... Card Crawl and Mystical Merchant are also must-haves. So much bang for your buck! Instead of wasting time with lame free games littered with ads, invest a few dollars in high quality mobile games you will not get bored with!

Finally. I have been waiting for a game like this for a while. I am really into rogue-like games and also card games. This game perfectly combines the two to make a great game with infinite possibilities and creative solutions. But what really elevates this game is the great art and animations. The art style really helps set the mood and the subtle animations are really well done. My only complaint is that the tutorial could be better, but once you start playing it will make sense.

😊😊😊. The game is amazing. Although the game is good there is a problem that need to be fixed. Theres a problem with the objectives, I complete the objectives multiple times but i can never level the cards up....if you fix these problems it'll be 5 stars from me. The game is now working for me and I've been updating my cards like crazy. I will most likely always buy the cards games this company develops. 😊 best

Definitely a favorite!. A really well-designed game (both visually and mechanically) that’s probably my favorite mobile card game, if not my favorite mobile game in general!!

Awesome Game. Very fun to play. It appeals to the ever growing subset of people with short attention spans. Too short now to enjoy the games of my youth. I guess you could also chalk it up to the fact that I have a lot less free time than I used to. But even when I do have the time, I find myself unwilling to invest more than a few hours at a time to any one game. To that end, there's no shortage of quick one-off games for me to play, but most are severely lacking in quality and depth. I may not devote the same amount of time to games as I used to, but I still want to be entertained. Card Thief does just that. It's difficult enough to be just the right amount of frustrating which, paradoxically enough, is a quality that keeps me coming back for more. As fun and engaging as this game is, it still leaves a bit to be desired in terms of content. There isn't much of a story behind the character and his motivation is a mystery. The hideout was welcome addition, adding three new challenges to shake up the core gameplay, which does indeed become repetitive towards the end game. Requiring stolen goods from the base game with a time limit to play the hideout challenges does offer some motivation to play through the old castles. Unfortunately, instead of adding new skill cards with new abilities, the only reward offered for playing the new challenges is more stolen goods. This is the reason why I haven't really found myself all that interested in the new content.

None of the games are working!!. I’m obsessed with Card Crawl, Card Thief, and Miracle Merchant, but none of them have loaded the the daily heists for 2 days. They don’t work on my iPhone or iPad. Card Thief just won’t load, and Card Crawl says there’s no internet connection (there is). Please fix this!

Great but one little bug. This game is really freaking good. Very well made and when you play a round perfectly it’s very satisfying. However, there is an annoying little bug with the contracts game mode. In this game mode you get to play as a different character with their own art, quirk to make it more challenging, and sound effect. However, at least for me, the art for the other characters just doesn’t show up. It just shows a brick wall. Great game but would love to see this bug fixed sometime soon.

Amazing game can't put it down!. Beautiful design style and unique game play! I haven't loved a mobile game like this in a long time. The tutorial is not the easiest to follow and game does have a learning curve but once you get the basics of movement down you will love it! Every time you beat a round is super rewarding, not like grinding out the 569th level of Candy Crush. The balance between strategy and luck keeps it interesting and the lack of freemium crap is utterly refreshing in the current landscape.

A step from perfect!. The art style is excellent and the gameplay, while simple and repetitive in mid-game, is creative and fun. When I get bored and come back a week later, it is always a joy between meetings or on the porcelain throne. My only complaints are these: - Equipment progression (specifically the water arrow and blinding powder) are either bugged or not specific to complete. - opening stolen chests with the Guild Master is not very satisfying and clunky - no incentive exists to keep players engaged or attached to their thief. Aside from daily heists and leaderboards, nothing else weekly or monthly arrives to spice things up or unlock new things. I would recommend more game types or customizable experiences to keep this game fresh and survive the plethora of other games to play. Worth a buy and I highly recommend this to any strategist or card player!

Beautiful game!. But how do I purchase the full version? Can’t figure it out.

Crashes. Love this game but crashes on iPhone 11 Pro UPDATE: reinstall fixed issue

Great game!. I like this even better than Card Crawl (and that is great too). I like that each game just takes a few minutes, but I always want to keep playing just one more. The tutorial is great too. And after a couple runs you’ll get the hang of it. Another great game by a good developer who prices things fairly with no IAPs. We need more developers like this!

Guess I’m not smart enough for this one. Really nice artwork but I’m 41 and I have no idea how to play this game. Wayyyyy too complicated. Payed close attention to the “lessons” and still had no clue what was going on. Not sure what this game has to do with solitaire. Wish I hadn’t wasted the money.

Wonderful and Elegant. Fantastic little puzzle-strategy hybrid, satisfying gameplay and in-game cues/responses, may frustrate people who don't like rogue-likes.

Smashes my battery. Like this game, but I play just one round and bang, more than half my power is gone. I'm using an iPhone 5.

The art is nice .... But I don’t find anything interesting in the gameplay. I think a big part of this is the barely and incompletely explained mechanics. They left too many questions unanswered. The very first level after the tutorial had symbols on the cards that hadn’t been explained, which is frustrating. I’m tired of the upfront cost for apps, as opposed to being able to try before you buy. The only reason I can see for this is if you don’t have enough faith in your game. What makes this worse for me is I shelled out for this one on the strength of the glowing Apple review, and I now feel these must be paid-for reviews and I will no longer purchase anything based on Apple reviews or any app that can’t be tried first.

High quality great gameplay. Highly impressed with this addictive game! Challenging and engaging this game is a must buy for lovers of card games

Brilliant. A highly engaging and very well designed stealth/strategy game. Loving it so far, and I really like the nods to Thief: The Dark Project. Well worth the purchase. And top marks for not including any IAP.

Crash. Cool art style and cool game concept. But a bit confusing to get started and crashes all the time. Please fix the crash issue

Confusing. This game has so many mechanics introduced right away and it is all confusing to remember. Being thrown straight from the tutorial to a first level with more even mechanics is the worst way to get people to play your game. Introduce the mechanics slowly and then build up the difficulty.

Unique & Polished. Another great game from the Card Crawl creator. Unique, interesting game concept with great characterful art.

Great!!!. I find it's a nice way to spend time ( not to much time). But there is one major problem, the guy who is sleeping on the barrel in the upper floors of the den needs a better font for his ZZZZZZZZzzzzzz's.

Great game. Lovely artwork and original game design. Can play for free but for less than a coffee can help support someone to make more games like this!

Got me hooked. This is a wonderful puzzler, right up my alley. A simple concept but deep in strategy.

.... Keep crashing after update

Screen. I can’t even see the top of the screen to advance the tutorial

Great fun. Lovely full featured game. Great graphics & really enjoyable game play. Love it to bits. And no in-app purchases! Perfect!

Not what I expected.. I played another app by the people that made Card Thief, and I enjoyed it, especially the feature where you made your own deck. In the description for Card Thief, it said “Mini deck building” and “Hire 10 thieves with unique gameplay rules” and I was looking forward to that. But when I bought the app, you couldn’t make your own deck, and there was only one thief to use. (Except with the Daily Heist.) I enjoyed the art and gameplay, but I wish you could do the things it said you could do in the description.

Great stealth card game!. Refreshingly innovative stealth card game! No in-app purchases and no ads! Just a pay and play with loads of engaging features and ongoing play. Well worth buying!

Constant crash after update. I love this game, but not when I can't play it. The game has constantly crashed every time I try to start it since the most recent update. Never get past the initial scroll. Please fix it!

Great game. This is by far one of the best games I’ve seen I play it all the time and never get bored. Also I like it so much I’m making my own little card game which is like card thief but more things. Good job

Gets your brain working. Love this game. At first I thought there weren't enough rules, but it turned out that everything made sense once I learned from all my mistakes. That's what keeps it interesting I think. It's a complex little game.

Repetitive. So... After reading all the reviews, thought I'd be getting a game which would change over tkme

Good blend. A fun mix of skill, strategy and a bit of luck. Fun card game that will keep you trying to best your high score.

Totally love it.Good job guys.. This game has a really amazing environment, and makes you feel like a proper thief. Pretty good gameplay, makes your brain work as well 🧠.And the music is gold!🎵 I would totally recommend it.

Update. The update you did yesterday has made the game unplayable, it just crashes as soon as you open it. I only bought this game the day before and now I can't even play it.

This game is bad. Seriously you have to get a serton amount of things to unlock new levels it's not worth 3 bucks 99 cents maybe but 3 bucks no don't buy it and it's to repetitive I wish I could get my money back

Was fun, but no longer works. This game was quite a clever and fun card game but now no longer works. It crashes right after starting on a modern M1 iPad Pro with iPadOS 14.7.1. I was pleased to see a new update, only to find it changed the game from paid to free with an in-app purchase that I must now redeem in order to keep my paid full-game status. Yet, the devs didn't bother fixing the crash. What equipment are they testing it on? As to the game, from what I remember now, you move your thief around a 4x4 puzzle of cards taking treasures, fighting baddies, taking potions, and trying to exit before dying.

Crash!!. Argh! Updated the app and now it’s crashing before loading the game. Was enjoying mastering the game - hope it’s fixed soon.

100% Original Idea. I absolutely do not regret getting this game, If you love strategy/stealth games this is a must have, I can see this game becoming big

Just ok. Game mecanics and art are fine. 3x3 board feels a bit boring and repetitive. I would have like something bigger, so the player would have more options of plays. Game goal is to get highest score possible. No boss. No real challenge. Highest score is too much affected by the random side of card drawing. Opening chest is useless. You can only get 2 kinds of loot inside. Either currency to play special scenario, or insignia to unlock next solo play dungeon. Still played couple hours, but this game wont last more than a week for me.

Good tutorial but that’s it. Very very promising but as soon as you progress to Castle Wolfskull the difficulty spikes like 50000000% and it just becomes impossible. I’ve been playing this heist for around a month and haven’t beaten it once.

Excellent game!!! (Needs optimization). This is a wonderful take on the stealth and strategy genre, and I would highly recommend it to anyone who is interested in the genre. There are only two problems, one small and one fairly large. The small problem is that there no real reason for the treasure apart from high score. It's more of a gameplay problem, but something I hope the devs will keep in mind. Otherwise, once you realize there's almost no reason to get treasure the game suddenly becomes about survival rather than risk. The larger problem is optimization. I'm playing this on an iPhone 6s on the most recent firmware, and this game makes my iPhone overheat more than a Nintendo DS emulator. I am seriously worried about my battery being affected, so I hope they address this concern. Otherwise, excellent game! Would still highly recommend.

Fun game. I really like this one!

The idea is good. The idea is perfect but the game got boring too fast

Please update. The notch covers important information on the XR

Doesn’t work. When it worked it was great. But now when I go to the game I can get in to the game but can’t get any movement, it is frozen. I have uninstalled and tried reinstalling with no success. Too bad when it did work it was good.

As expected.... ... worth twice the price, tiny touch tales nails it again.

Game crashes for iOS 7. Great game ! I enjoyed it a lot ! But it’s crashing suddenly for iOS 7 please fix ! Thanks ~

I'm not usually into card games.... ... but I'm hooked in this! A cool twist on a solitaire-type game with beautiful presentation. Worth every penny!

Excellent game!. Very difficult to get the hang of, but super easy once you do! I’ve beat a few in a row after failing so many times and I really enjoyed it.

Great art style and personality. Game is worth it for the art alone. Tutorial can be a. It harder to grasp at first but you'll learn to play through trial and error. Love the menu - makes you feel like you're hanging out in the thieves den!

Real good, but.... Crashes with latest update. Please repair, update reminded me to play this great game! Contact me for technical details if needed, couldn't find "bug report" through the app or website. Philippe

That was like….. Super Craptastic!

Very good. This game is easily worth twice its price. Countless hours of quality play.

Boring. This game got boring for me during the tutorial. Unfortunate because I usually like card based games.

Brilliant. Takes longer to get the hang of than Card Crawl, but the game also stays challenging for longer. There are really strong risk/reward mechanics and tons of replay value thanks to the unlockable castles and cards. Highly recommended

Excellent game. Incredibly well-done card game. A challenging and entertaining take on rogue-style dungeoneering. Highly recommended for board game fans and card players alike.

Great game.. Can’t play the game without an internet connection, it just crashes. Seems to be a problem with iOS13 though since this isn’t the only game with this issue, there is a fix/workaround though, you need to put your phone in airplane mode for it to launch without an internet connection. Really great game otherwise.

Fun until all the recent bugs. Really enjoyed this game. All the sudden I am getting a pop up I can’t open chests as there is an “ads error”. So for the free version that means one hour wait between each round of playing, which makes it look intentional. Also, something is completely messed with the Hideout heists. Those are the most fun and I try to be in the top ten scores. All of a sudden, there are ludicrously high scores listed. Anyone who plays knows over 100 is a solid score. I’ve seen as high as 300+. But now there are scores 11,000+ and they are there immediately when the challenge is loaded. I’d maybe pay if it didn’t have so many bugs and or cheater hacks.

Excellent!. Un excellent jeu stratégique dont les parties sont plutôt rapides. Les règles sont plus complexes que Card Crawl, mais le tutoriel explique très bien le jeu en peu de temps! Bravo au développeur!

An excellent little game, well worth the asking price.. Mechanically this game’s quite simple, but the real fun comes in how it gives you space to optimize your strategies and improve your score.

Just get it. Please

Loooong tutorial. Long, boring and confusing tutorial. I got so bored 10 mins into the tutorial I uninstalled

Fun game. Great game. It’s a keeper on my phone!

Ingenious Gameplay + Tiny Touch Tales = Card Magic!. Beware young thief, the treasure you seek rests in protected quarters. Use your guile and outwit the guards that litter the treasure laden dungeons of Card Thief! Move stealthily or perish...and do all of this with cards in Arnold Rauers' Thief inspired Card Thief. Ingenious gameplay works so smoothly with cards and none of it would feel as great without the developer's signature world building. I can't help but feel like I'm raiding a buried network of catacombs below the world of Card Crawl.

11 pro max issue.. Cannot read stealth numbers at top of screen

Excellent and Worth the Effort. It's rare that I would offer an app a full 5-stars -- really rare. But Card Thief is worth every pointed star. Admittedly, there is a learning curve. Even after playing through the tutorial a couple of times, I was still left questioning how some of the card values changed, as well as how some of the equipment cards worked best. I'd be great to have more details in the tutorial, or some other guide for more casual gamers. Still, the app is worth every one of those 199 pennies to play through it. The negative reviews just aren't worth reading. Anybody who says, "This is too easy...boring...etc." must not have taken the opporutnity to get very deep into the game. The difficulty ramps up quite a bit. Not in a this-is-too-friggin-hard kind of way, but in a good, challenging it's-rewarding-for-your-efforts kind of way. Bottom Line: It's excellent.

Crash. Hello, I love this game and I re downloaded in my iphone 11 but still crashes.

This game though. This is by far the game I’ve ever played. Devs, thank you so much for making this game, I am addicted to it.

Game seems great!. When selecting Hideout on IPad Pro 12” it crashes in about half a second every time. Graphics are great. Gameplay engaging. Needs fixed.

Needs an update. The info on the top of the screen is completely cut off by the notch on the iPhone XR so it makes it hard to play. Game could use more cards

Simple yet complex and deep. The concept and play is simple but a lot of strategy goes into each move. However each game can be played in a few minutes so it's great for the subway, bus, or bathroom. There are many unlockables, upgrade, etc to keep the replay value. The art style is great and is very thematic. The gameplay is smooth. This is a game, and type of game, I have been waiting for for a long time. It hits all my points for an excellent mobile game.

Awesome game. Some learning curve, but once you get the hang of it, it’s very addicting

please fix iPhone XR display issue. Cool game. I already own it on my Google Pixel device. These is a serious issue on my iOS device: some important messages like points and cards info are obscured by the notch on iPhone XR. Please fix it.

Its not working with iphone 11 pro max. The game not working at all I wish you solve this problem

Problem. Keeps crashing when I get in, it won’t let me play, but I love it

BS. How can you love a game that you may not win for months on end—even after you’re an experienced player...

Notch covers game. The notch on the iPhone covers the remaining card counter and difficulty. Tapping the Daily Heist button makes the screen go dark for a second and nothing else happens.

Not on the same wavelength. This game looks great but the lessons left me baffled and unable to figure out what to do, when or why to play. Too bad I wasted money on this game. Oh well - chalk this one up to experience.

Deep, Challenging, Unique, & Fun. I have been playing this A LOT since I bought it a week or so ago. On the one hand, it didn't take long to unlock the first reward and the 2nd location on the map. On the other hand, I still don't fully understand the game mechanics and definitely am still working on strategy. It's one of those 'easy to play, tough to master' games. The 'one-hand, 5-10 min session' model is perfect for me and this game fits right into that. I love the game's art and I'm hoping the developer will release new map locations over time. The game needs minor balance tweaks, but it is nonetheless a must-have. TLDR: Unique, well-suited for mobile, challenging without being frustrating, deep, lots of stuff to unlock, no IAP's... highly recommended.

Bugs. Great game, and very beautiful, but major glitch with the hideout. Every time you try to access it the game shuts down. Unplayable now.

Something new under the sun!. A genuinely new game with new mechanics!

Good once you figure it out. The game as a steep difficulty curve as others have said, but it's worth it once you get the hang of it. Two tips: 1) You can get away with anything if you have stealth points. You're only in trouble once you run out. 2) Play conservatively, you only need to make 2 moves per turn, so there's no need to burn through stealth points. My biggest criticism is that once you unlock all the equipment and upgraded them, there's not much left to do. You can probably do all this in a few days. Gold doesn't buy anything, it's just a high score. It would be nice if there was something useful in those chests once you have every sigil.

It just won’t open. Every time I tried to play the game it would load to show a moon over some kind of house, and promptly close out by itself.

Pretty good but slight ui problem. The cutout on my iPhone 13 pro covers some things at the top

Far too random to be fun.. I've wasted as much time losing matches as I have winning, too often for reasons beyond my control because of random card drops. This wouldn't be so bad if you didn't leave completely empty-handed. When I do win a match, more than half of the treasure I've gotten from chests is literally useless garbage...again leaving me mostly empty-handed. And finally, when you look at how much loot needed to unlock new elements in this game, it's painfully clear that you have to play an ABSURD amount to get anywhere. For everything this game does right with visuals, charm, and general concept, it frustrates just as often. Games that punish you for random chance with no recourse aren't fun.

Enjoyable Game!. Really ❤️ this game! Clever and fun time killer!

Not fun. I really wanted to like this as I am a card crawl fanatic. It’s not easy to figure out and really hasn’t been worth the effort to try. Bummed. Maybe Miracle Merchant will suit me better.

GREAT game, BUT.... This is wonderful. Pitch perfect presentation and graphics. Music and sound is nice but not amazing. Gameplay is pretty simplistic in terms of control, but very deep. Price point is almost too cheap; I feel they could've easily charged a couple dollars more. However, there are some problems. Why can't I swipe my path? It seems far more natural than having to tap everything individually. Also, even after playing the tutorial multiple times I STILL don't 100% understand the basic mechanics. It leaves out some incredibly important details, such as guard movement. The biggest issue right now is this seems to be a massive battery drainer. Both my iPad mini 4 and my iPhone 7 drops FAST when playing this game, though I noticed no overheating. For a game as graphically simple as this there's no excuse for such poor battery performance. Fix these issues and this will be a five star game no problem. As is I still think it's a must buy. Just keep a charger handy!

Quality. Good game needs more attention.

Please fix iphone xr scaling. The remaining cards are obscured by the notch.

fun pass time. Cool game and a good pass time

YOU WON’T BE ABLE TO PUT YOUR DEVICE DOWN. THIS IS THE GREATEST GAME I HAVE EVER PLAYED YOU WON’T REGRET IT

Repetitive and Boring. Totally not worth any amount of money, every game is almost identical and has very little customization or change in gameplay from your choices

Chinese Plz! Orz. Chinese Plz! Orz

Great take on card games. Well worth the flatter! Having finished most of the game (my only incentives are to max out the final equipment, which I can't do right now), I can honestly say that Card Thief is a worthy journey. My only gripe is that the difficulties of some of the upgrades are inconsistent. Sometimes the descriptions are too esoteric (for me), but my main issue is that the level of difficulty fluctuates drastically. At least one early upgrade isn't available until the last dungeon. Still, the gameplay is top-notch, especially for the price point. Now, I may check out Card Crawl!!

Love it. Great game, and the lessons were indispensable in learning the ropes. Seems to drain my battery, though.

Please fix notch. I have an iPhone XS Max and the top of the screen is covered by the notch

Not enough crawling, too much thieving. I really enjoyed their last game "Card Crawl", I still play it to this day but Card Thief is a major let down. I get that this was designed to be a stealthy card game but it's just entirely too boring to be worth playing. I beat the first 3 levels with basically zero effort, instantly lost the 4th level on a random bad draw and lost interest. The graphics and sounds are on point but the stealth mechanic is a real slog. Normally I would try to get a refund but I like this developer so they can keep the $1.99 even though I've already uninstalled it and probably will never play it again.

Very good puzzler. Very good puzzler

I like this game. A whole lot

Great game!. Smart game design and beautiful graphics. If you liked Dungeon Raid, you'll enjoy this!

The best. This game truly gets all of my respect

I’m confused.. Just being honest here: I’m super confused about how exactly this game is played. I WANT to like this as Card Crawl was my jam for the last month. But currently, not knowing how to play, this game isn’t very enjoyable.

Steep learning curve, but great when you finally get it.. The gameplay is a little difficult to learn at first and the tutorial was a bit daunting. I almost gave up on it, but decided against it because of the good online reviews. I'm glad I took the time to figure the gameplay out because it really is quite fun. You have to just jump in the deep end and play a few rounds before it clicks. It's a very unique game. Be prepared for some battery drain. I'm running it on an iPhone 7 plus and it still drains it.

It gets hard.. So some non-obvious stuff first. The game has four castles you unlock with treasure chest items. Equipment is similar, and the treasure chest items are castle dependent, so gear unlocks are tied to progression. The tutorial really isn't sufficient to grasp the dynamics of actual play, but you pick it up in the first castle. The SECOND castle though adds three new types of cards at least, and their behaviors interact more. At the very least the tutorial could use a bit explaining how to read all the hints on the card faces. The added enemy types can create deals where your only option is to lose pretty rapidly. The art design is nice as is the design of the gameplay. It might be a bit too "rouge-like" if I'm not missing some key strategy element.

Not bad. It's a good game. Provides some challenge especially if the right combo of cards is dropped with few moves available. The only thing I wish would be different is the amount of "trash" that's dropped from daily heists. I have yet to get anything in a chest from any of them. Is there a way that a player could pick up other one time use or gems or something in these chests? I really love the idea of a random set of cards and abilities but the pay out is just lack luster. BUT that said it doesn't take away from the over all game.

A big step up from 'Crawl'. Card Crawl is one of my favorite mobile games, and this is a worthy sequel. It's definitely more complex — there are many more "rules", and even after the tutorial I had only a vague idea of what was going on. Revisiting it after playing a full game helped a lot. I'm finding it fun to deduce the mechanics that aren't in the tutorial, but it might frustrate some. I'm still a rank newbie who's only barely survived the first level, but I can see there's a lot of strategy involved in playing well. In every area this builds on Card Crawl's strengths. The art and animation are even better, and as before there are lots of power-ups to save up for and buy. (I did find the music a bit overbearing and turned it off, but I do that with 90% of games.)

Great game. Clever game, great art, good gameplay

Incredibly poor. The concept and art of the game are nicely done, however the execution is really terrible. The tutorial is very lacking and I couldn’t figure out what to do on the first level. Needs an overhaul and better tutorial

A pleasant surprise. Originally I thought this game would get boring quick, but after playing a few sets, I realized the maps were all random and you could add equipment adding to the outcomes of each game. A neat idea would be to hopefully add more thieves in the game, perhaps give each thief a special ability or passive? This would also give the gems you collect some value as of now they just seem kinda pointless aside from a score board. So in short more thieves and give the gems more value than just score I recommend this game

Great Buy!. Full disclosure: I've played card crawl since it's inception, loved it, and have gone back to play every update, and then some. Thief is a whole new level of single player, card-rpg-fun! The graphics are fun and engaging. The game play, while simple in concept is difficult in actual play. The controls are tap to move, which is totally cool, and the rng is somewhat punishing (I mean really; 4 successful runs and all chests have JUNK... /sigh that's my luck for you). Card Thief is now my go to for quick mobile fun. Fantastic job Devs!
