Deserves 6 stars !. The best in its class, a classic for sure. Easy to get the hang of in a few rounds of play then watch out because the hours slip by quickly as you find yourself unable to put the game away. Great graphics and a nice workout for the brain. Well done to the developer !

Great game all around. I got this game thinking it might be a nice alternative to basic solitaire. I couldn't be more happy. Everything — from the gameplay to the delightful graphics is well thought out. The learning curve is just right. And once you've played enough to earn all the cards, you can construct your own decks to try and increase your score. Well done. Well played.

Wow. Okay, so I realized I'm at 361 games played this morning and something that good deserves a review, right? Card Crawl is a fast (games are 2-5 minutes), fun game with a modified deck of playing cards. You try to defeat monsters & collect treasure and get through the whole deck. At first you just try to survive, then you try to score high. There are more and more powerful cards that unlock that really expand the strategy, so no two games play the same way. And there are quests to unlock new cosmetics. The great thing about these quests is that they teach you through practice more strategies. I've unlocked everything and keep playing the odd game here and there and often times the daily dungeon. Great game. Totally worth the money!

I love this game!. No frills solitaire dungeon experience. I love it. Little bit luck, little bit skill, all fun. I have a couple of tweaks I'd like to see: Player total gold should be visible during a match (or pause screen). And there should be a speed button, sometimes waiting for card animation is clunky. Overall fantastic game. Just what I've waited for. I can totally see this being played with a real deck in a medieval pub. Awesome.

Easy Concept Oozing with Charm. This game is very easy to understand as the tutorial is explained well and it only takes 2 minutes to complete. The more the player plays the more skill cards that are introduced to the game which a great way to give the game longevity and intrigue. As well as that more game modes and quests are introduced the more the player plays which is such a breath of fresh air compared to other games that block “content” with In app purchases and energy timers etc. The sounds and look of the game are charming, like something out of a Dungeons & Dragons Inn. Kudos to the developer here, this is what mobile games should be! I picked up his other games because I want to encourage this standard :)

Easy to play, hard to master. Scratch your Sword & Sorcery itch with this enchanting card game. Every deal could result in death or victory literally due to the flip of a card or two. Ability cards can put you in or pull you out of a tight spot, so manage them thoughtfully. Great fun and definitely addictive.

Great game, especially for the price. I would rate lower if it weren’t for all the customization but with all the different abilities this game has great replayability (as it should, since that’s the whole point of the game) Being able to choose which abilities or having them randomized is a great feature that I’m glad was added. This game is 100% worth every penny if you like this style of game. 10/10 would buy again.

7+, iOS 10.x. This title is so good that I bought a copy for my wife. She isn't into RPGs, dungeon crawlers, roguelikes or CCGs, but loves both the aesthetics and concept of this game. It's solitaire with a hint of the foregoing for the imaginative nothing of the sort for others. It has something for nearly every personality type—an amazing feat. Elegant simplicity at its finest, and a two-person indie development team that is active in the online communities and has supported the game with a number of updates. Large studios, with all the resources at their disposal, almost never pander to their fans. These devs have and deserve to be rewarded.

A lot of fun. Fairly simple to learn, Card Crawl plays as a solitaire style dungeon crawl. Once you've played a few rounds, it's fairly simple to just "win" by finishing the deck. Things get interesting when you venture into quests and high score runs. The strategies and card combos you'll need to employ will really test your planning and ability to adapt on the fly. Solid buy, and super easy to pick up for a quick game here and there!

Awesome. It easily transports me into the world of the game! I love that the characters seem to have actual depth! I paid for the entire game even though the free version was satisfying enough!!! This game really does have wonderful depth and so much creativity!

Love this game!!. It's great for a quick fix and a long marathon! I only have about half of the collection and I haven't gotten sick of it. I'm not sure if there is anything else after the quests are achieved. Maybe that would be a good idea for a major update? It's a fun game and I never want it to end!!!!!

Card Crawl. This game is seriously very good. It’s a card game that’s actually unique which is rare on the App Store. It is hard to find a fresh card game when you are looking for one because all that shows up is mostly solitaire and other older games. The art style is great and the game is fair. I really like the theme of the game because I am a fan of DND. Overall this is is really good game and I would totally recommend it to my friends.

Easy to learn, but.... it stops there. The artwork on the cards is nice, and the game is a quick study to get the strategy down. Most of the 40 special ability cards are useless in actual play, and some are duplicative in their power. In order to access "Delve", the player must "purchase" all of the ability cards, whether you want them or not. The first few "depths"(levels) are played like the "normal" game section, but each depth becomes more about the luck of the draw: whether you are dealt enough resources and at the right time. And too often, it seems like the game is lost in the last one or two cards. I do appreciate the work put in to create a game, but for the low level of play, it's not worth the $3.00.

A genuinely good game. You don’t have to pay to play and get the feel if it’s right for you. There aren’t ads that pop up abruptly after playing. And if you want to buy the full game it’s actually worth it. They did a good job designing and crafting the game. I’ve been really into it and there’s mechanics involved to keep me for a while

Honest review. The best rogue card game ever!. I was skeptical about this game before purchasing but after playing a few games. I was totally hooked and it was very enjoying. Each round only takes about 10 minutes and it’s great to kill time while traveling on the plane. Much like spider solitaire but rogue like version. The only card game I’ve been looking to kill and enjoy time!

Easy to learn, hard to master!. I've been looking for just fun fantasy games to play and I'm normally not into card based games. But this one honestly is too much fun I can't put it down. Normally I'm not good at strategy especially in card game/item management based games. But Card Crawl took the those and made them fun and easy to learn. But don't let it fool you, it still poses a challenge making every game a fresh new experience! Thanks for making me more interested in strategy card games! For sure would recommend!

Very entertaining. Was scared it was going to be either too complicated or boring but it’s neither! Easy to learn and very fun to play! You need to pay 5$ for the actual game but the trial version is fun. Buying the game lets you collect very helpful cards to add to the deck. I highly recommend it for killing time. Awesome game! Two thumbs up from me!!

The reviews were right. I enjoy solitaire type card games, and this battle style works like that. It is about a 3-5 minute game which is great for me. I can play one round or six, and the art style is nice for the simplicity of the game. Other reviewers have explained it well, I am just agreeing with the 5 star rating.

Modern day solitaire. Awesome little card based game that you can play for a few minutes or for a while. I liken it to solitaire since I use them the same way and it kinda feels like the same deal (just checked the description - says solitaire like game, so guess that was their idea ;) ).Main difference is that there is a “level up” type aspect to it so you’re trying to achieve a larger goal (which makes it better than solitaire). Definitely worth checking out!

Only mobile game you’ll ever need. This is the perfect, super addictive, time wasting, card game to play on the toilet. Super simple rules to pick up, with layers of strategy to peel back. Single player, so no long loading screens or waiting for other players. Progression feels rewarding with plenty of interesting cards to unlock. Even grinding for highscores with a new deck is fun enough to make 1 hour seem like 5 minutes.

So good!. This game is so well done. The first few rounds, it seemed okay but nothing particularly special. Then I realized that there is much more to this game than at first meets the eye. I think it’s more similar to a five card draw than solitaire, in that it really is luck of the draw in many cases. A combination of luck and strategy makes it so much fun to play. I would be embarrassed to tell you how many hours I have put into this game. I started with the also fantastic Card Thief, and once I played that out, I looked into what other games were made by Arnold. I couldn’t believe it, but I actually liked this a bit more. You might think this is for a younger crowd, and perhaps it is, but I am a soon to be 50-year-old four-time cookbook author and food blogger who I suspect does not meet their target audience. 😂 It feels greedy to ask for more levels and challenges once it’s completed, because the game really has so much to offer, and yet I do find myself wishing there were more. But that is not a negative mark against the game, but rather a testament to how great it is. I’m taking my girls to PAX in Boston next week, and I only hope the developers are there since they’re one of the only people I would care to meet. Thanks for a fun way to decompress after a long day, and I hope you come out with more wonderful games. Congratulations on your success.

Deceptively simple. At first I wasn’t a huge fan of card crawl. I always saw it as being too easy and opted for ENYO and card thief instead. Lately I’ve been playing it more and i started too see the fun in it. All the unlock-able cards are really fun and interesting additions to the deck during play and the art is beautifully bizarre and grotesque. As for the difficulty, the game is only going to be too easy if you don’t play for a high score. Beating yourself quickly becomes very challenging (and also very fun) to a degree that I would consider this the developers hardest game. This game if worth more than you’re paying for it.

Great game, but keeps crashing!. I’ve played 16 games so far and been having a lot of fun, but it’s crashed on me twice already. And it crashes only at the end of a game! It doesn’t count the game or give you the coins you earned that game. Very frustrating! If they can fix this bug, I’d say it’s pretty much a perfect little rogue-lite card game. Art style is amazing, animations fluid, and gameplay balanced. It gives you a good taste of the larger game for free without ads or user tracking. I just paid for the full version because it was fun. Again, great game but I just really hope they fix the crashing bug soon!

Easy to play. Hard to Master.. Just like the title says “Easy to play. Hard to Master.” Even though it says a game should take 2-3 mins to play, if you want to complete the quest the game will take longer. This is a great game for waiting in line or waiting for laundry. I’m having so much fun and really recommend this game for those solitaire players out there.

Wow, just wow. Great game, well thought out, nice challenge, reminds me of "dead-mans draw" (another great phone card game). Graphics are soooo to my liking, gameplay is refreshing and fun. Can't say enough, well worth the $2 entry fee. Update... dateline: years later... I keep coming back to this little gem. A great game for a great developer!

This game is my literal addiction, I feel in love with it a couple of years ago and with it becoming free to play (even though I already had the paid version) I decided to give it a try again and recapture that magic and I love Card Crawl and Card Theif and every game you have on the AppStore! Perfect for a simple Dungeon Crawl. It’s like this game was designed for me. An engaging turn-based dungeon crawler that’s also a simple mobile card game: perfect for an old-school gamer like me to kill time on my phone. I’m skeptical that the business model of this game (free demo with full premium game unlocked by paying) will work in the current mobile game market, but I hope it does. It’s well worth the price for an ad-free gaming experience.

Quick easy fun. I work at a hospital and I constantly have short moments of down time for 5-10mins at a time. I needed a game that I could quickly step away from and resume when I unlock my phone. This game is great for that and it’s very enjoyable. Makes you have to think ahead and choose your cards wisely. I’m loving it so far.

A very clever take on solitaire.. I really enjoy this creator’s games (Miracle Merchant and Card Thief included). I’m not looking for games where I have to invest a large amount of time to play, so these are perfect for when I have a little bit of down time. I like the fantasy atmosphere a lot too.

Great game but my Constructed Deck game causes the game to crash. Hello I have been playing this game for a couple of months and just love it. I have a great collection of selected card as my constructed deck. I enjoy playing this game through the constructed deck because I am able to earn more coins. Now, for some reason, the constructed deck is hung up and when I start to play it it deals the deck and then crashes the game. I hope someone reads this at the developer and fixes the issue. You can comment and reach back out to me to provide a solution.

Basic but fun. If you're into card based role playing games this is the one to start with. Not too many variable but enough to keep it interesting. Easy to pick up and play a few hands when you need to kill ten minutes. I hope the next update will include different monsters and specialty cards.

Simple but addicting game. This game is really easy to learn and it’s fun game to play while waiting in line, watching tv, or doing other mindless things. This game really helped pass the time. The animation is charming and the little details are cool, for instance, the way your avatar looks after taking damages. Hahaha!

Excellent. I’ve had this game for years and bought it back when it wasn’t a free-to-play. I find that I always come back to it. The art style only enhances the gameplay, and the quests are challenging enough that you won’t get bored. I would recommend this game to anyone.

Outstanding. For only $3, this game is a remarkable value. I have sunk over 15 hours into it already and played 358 hands in total. It is a card game, yet a dungeon crawler at the same time. The quests, community game mode, and the "daily dungeon" all add to the replay value. There is so much packed into this delightful little game. I recommend it highly. Also, if you haven't checked out Card Thief, by the makers of Card Crawl, please do! It is a very worthy sequel.

Can’t. Stop. Playing. Low skill floor, high skill ceiling. The more you play, the more you understand. Each game is around 1-2 minutes, so it’s easy to hop on a new one. You’ll earn new cards before you know it, and learning how to optimize their use is a treat. Great design, and simple. Love it!

Poorly coded. To start off, this game is pretty good. Repetitive, but it’s engages me for a good amount of time. However, to get a new character you must win 10 rounds getting twice the amount of gold the average player would get, making it come down to luck. And for this, you get a game that crashes every time you play, absolutely shattering any time you invested into the game. Many nights of staying up too late for this... Worthless.

Still my number 2 game I play!. Some may wonder what’s my number one, and I always love to say that it’s Miracle Merchant. I’m not any good at these games by a long shot but I love these titles to death and I wish Tiny Touch Tales the best in their game making endeavors! From what I understand, there is a Card Crawl Adventures coming soon and I really can’t wait because the developer has been creating a Tiny Touch Tales Universe with his games (except Enyo) and I can’t wait to see all these other characters in this new game along with new ones. But I digress The simplicity of this game is what makes it great. You can ‘speed run’ a hand or you can think carefully. To hit top charts your have to weigh risk and reward carefully and each hand is different. I’m so glad that the Dec has been keeping his games updated too! So many devs, including triple A devs drop their game and support it for the first year but then let it die. Arnold really has a deep love for his titles and it shows.

Incredible game with no microtransactions. I’m really loving this game. Super addictive and creative. It’s sort of like a hardcore roguelike crossed with solitaire, which sounds like it wouldn’t work but totally does. It’s nice to see such a fun, creative little game and I love that there are no microtransactions. It’s so common now that I forgot how much better games without them were! I will certainly be checking out the developers’ other work. This is wonderful little gem of a game and I think I will get a lot of use out of it.

Best game I've played in a long time. This is the first review I've left for an app. I decided to write one, because this app deserves it. A quick game with great art and a decent amount of strategy. I'd recommend this to anyone, but especially those that love table top and card games.

Interesting play from simple rules. The rules and card set are simple enough. I originally thought this meant a lack of depth, but there’s subtleties and interesting ability cards to add in that lean in to replayability. Once you start optimizing for higher scores you can find a lot of interesting decisions.

Better than any other puzzle game!. If you’re sick of playing solitaire or looking for a new puzzle/card game, this one is amazing! It’s much more fun than just playing the same games over and over! Definitely worth the $5! I got my boyfriend into this game and he just surpassed me after playing almost all night long!

Great Demo. Actual Card Crawl is a few bucks, but the free version is still a dangerous time waster. The flow of the game is so steady and enjoyable that by the time one reaches the end of a deck, one has had fun regardless of the result. The one fault is that sometimes a card can be used the wrong way if the player drags it inaccurately.

Pretty Good. I’m not much of a phone gamer. I play on console, FPS games and more intense things that are too intensive for a phone. As far as phone games go, though, this one is pretty good. I’ve been on a card game kick lately, and this one has been fun. My only gripe would be that there’s a lack of content for the price and that unlocking new characters is quite a difficult process. I haven’t even progressed toward unlocking any of them yet, and I’ve played quite a bit. Some new content and maybe a modification to the unlock process would make this game about as good as it could be I think.

Spectacular game!. I was definitely skeptical of a solitaire card game, but this app is really great. The mechanics are clever enough to make gameplay continually interesting, and the subtleties of the interactions between cards keeps me searching for more interesting combos. I've almost finished unlocking all of the cards, and I'm still consistently pleased by the different twists and turns each round takes. Bravo!

Well worth the $2.99. I don't like paying for apps but I decided to take a chance on this one. Definitely worth the money. Love the art style and how the gameplay can feel both incredibly simple but subtly complex and difficult. Many card games are too random, or if you have the "best cards" it becomes too easy. This game stays difficult without ever feeling too random. Only thing I can request are more unlockables - that would be it!

Very shallow, questionable design choices. The strategy in this game boils down to: don’t make an obviously wrong decision, hope that the deck is winnable. People compare this to solitaire which is understandable, but solitaire has long term strategy whereas this does not. I’d say it’s a fun game for casual players, but the progression system is bizarre: in order to progress, you have to win 10 games without ability cards. The ability cards are maybe the most interesting mechanic so it seems backward that the first thing the game asks you to do is sink a lot of time into ignoring them. The game is overall frustrating and tedious, and a small amount of well crafted cute art tweens doesn’t make up for it.

Really fun. I really like this game, it’s simple enough that it’s easy to pick up, and re-pickup if you don’t play for awhile, and unlocking new things in game is definitely worth the price, but even if you don’t do that it has no ads even in the ad-pocalypse

Shallow beautiful game. There isn’t really any discovery in the game, and all the cards are so linear. It’s just basic math, with RNG instead of thinking once you figure out the game, which takes about an hour- tops. I’d like to see different monster abilities, and more interactions between equipment and locations so that the game wasn’t as flat and deterministic. Quests are neat until you realize the rewards are purely cosmetic, ruining any last hope of a sense of discovery or progression. Overall a big disappointment because the graphics and coding are excellent.

Excellent card game!. Very well made card game and equally fun as well! It is frustrating that the “free” version of the game is just the basic version. There is more to the game yet it is behind a paywall. Is the “light” version fun to play? Yes, it is. Is unlocking the rest of the game worth it? That is up to you; I’ll play til I find another as there will always be more games available.

Do not pay if you have iPhone - Store and daily do not work. Downloaded and loved the game at first. Paid for the full game and once I won enough games to unlock the in game store, I tape the store and the game reset. Over and over. Tapped daily and cellular signal strong it kept saying to check my connection. So, all I can use is the free stuff. There was no point in paying for context you can’t even use. It would have been a 5 star but now I have to wait for my payment to process just to demand a refund. Wish I hadn’t wasted my time. Might work on non-iPhone. Good luck.

Potion sound. Hi devs, great game!! Been playing this since it published. The latest update however, where you mention the changing of servers for the Daily game, seems to have removed the sound the potion makes when using it. It’s a small problem, but hopefully not a huge fix. Thanks.

Love it.. This game is fantastic. Looking forward to future updates; more cards, maybe some different characters that have various perks perhaps. The game is heaps of fun in its own right anyway to keep me playing :)

Very good. Great at killing time. It has a good balance of relaxing and engaging gameplay.

Great visual and gameplay design. This game is a joy to play and look at. I often find myself playing 3-4 games a session and it's a great example of a pick-up-and-play game. My only criticism would be that I feel like the player should get some money for losing (maybe half of their coin value?) and it would be nice to get quest tracking options. I finally unlocked woodlouse lord and it was a pain to go into Quests every now and then to check on the progress. Keep it up, y'all. PS the Slime card is the cutest.

It’s okay.. Exceedingly simple additive game where you match additive positive cards against subtractive negative cards for 54 cards. Made easy by the greater amount of positive vs negative overall value. Skill cards are conditional positives, and there's only 5. Some that are unlocked are technically multiplicative. Due to the low range (3-10) of effects, high health pool (13) and a 5 health cost mulligan theres very little chance of losing. Barely worth $8, great for kids or those who struggle at math.

Very good - looking forward to improvements.. An interesting take on solitaire with a dungeon crawling flavor and lots of character. Artwork is lovely and the general feel is great. Game play is fun, if not sometimes stacked against the player. However once you start to collect cards it becomes a little too easy, except if you get terrible cards drawn twice leaving you swapped by monster cards (which can happen). I'd love to see more avatars, each with their own skills and strengths. I'd also like to see some 'situation' cards that would include traps or situations to spice up gameplay ('backed into corner card' or 'magic fountain' card). Perhaps also an unlimited mode where you had to survive as many cards as possible, or a structured story game with set levels of cards to battle through. All up I'm excited to see how this progresses.

My favourite solo card game. I keep coming back to this game. Games are short, super simple, and require only luck and basic strategy. It’s beautifully designed and hits the mark on genre. Highly recommended.

Stop reading this and just buy it!. Excellent Solitaire stule gameplay tweaked with a dungeon crawl make for excellent gameplay. Each game is only a matter of minutes, but the manipulation of your cards is what makes this so good. It is all topped off with a quite brilliant South Park style to its visuals. It also has a great sense of humour and the sounds are just right. Everything about this is what you want from a modern mobile game and it is buy once keep playing - no pay to win and no in-app purchases! All your in-game ynlocks come from your score. Thank you devs!!! This is my go-to-game for quite some time to come.

Impressed. I don't often leave reviews, but this game is a must for any casual gamer. Easy to understand but has depth and requires strategy to master. Well worth the purchase.

Yes an No. I like this game. I'm hooked but be warned there is absolutely no pay off to it, it's just the same game over and over and over. If you don't think you can handle that I'd stay away from it but if you can enjoy a simple game that isn't about reward and XP and waiting several hours to play again unless you pay for it then you need this game.

Great game, newest patch fixed all my problems. Title says it all. This patch has done everything I had hoped it would. It added a bunch of new features that are well appreciated. I have no more complaints. This is a very clever game, good humoured and fast playing. An unreserved recommendation.

Brilliant little game. What a fun game to play. Quick and easy and yet challenges you to think about your moves. One of those " one more go " games. Get it you'll have a blast.

Really unique, interesting gameplay!. I really enjoy Card Crawl, as it's a simple game that you can pick up and play whenever you have a few moments to spare. It makes you think about your moves carefully, and it's always great fun when the cards are in your favour. Spelling is a little off sometimes but nothing a quick patch can't fix. It would also be nice to have other game modes some how incorporated into the game, to increase longevity. Then I would be able to give a full 5 stars. Great work guys.

15min worth of gameplay. Dungeon Crawler it definitely is not - not even a tiny bit. Collectible card game - barely. It’s a fun enough solitaire, but it really is just a 5min card game. Once you’ve played it once or twice, that’s it. You’re going to do the same every time you play. It does let you unlock an extra card type for every 1-5 games you play. These have minimal impact on the overall gameplay, though, so it gets very repetitive very quick. Overall, fun for 15-20min, so you have to decide if that’s worth the price.

Five star fun. Don't usually write reviews but since there wasn't any for this awesome game, I decided to. First off, if you couldn't tell already, this is a card game. Each game consists of 54 cards with a fixed amount of monster, coin, potion, and ability cards. The goal is to survive and get the highest coin total. The cards are dealt randomly and depending on the mode, the ability cards are fixed or random. That's the gist of the game. The different modes keep the game replayable as you try to best your high score. I like the constructed mode where you can select the ability cards that will be in the pile and try to string together combos that yield the highest gold count. I've been playing this for weeks now and even after collecting all the ability cards and completing all the quests, I still find myself addicted to it. Five out of five.

Stunned. Unlike the generic card game, Card Crawl has better graphics and is way more fun. Besides from the absurdly early end game, this game is great!

I haven't stopped playing!. Solitaire + dungeon crawl = excellence. I can't remember when was the last time I enjoyed a card game this much. It's not one of those easy mindless games when you just shoot or swap things up and pay more to progress when you're stuck. You actually have to know the cards to build the strategy. Unfortunately it does still depend on luck and if you get too many of the same kind you'd better off restarting. The devs are two-persons team so kudos to them, I can't wait to see what other features they'll implement in the future. It does seem to drain my phone battery quickly but it's probably just a sign that I should quit playing for a bit.

great game. Great game, very fun. Don't know how many times I have said "just one more game".Getting a little annoyed now on how random the cards are being dealt. Get mostly all the item cards at the start then the monster cards last.

Fun.. The game probably needs a more complete manual (had to play the tutorial twice to get it) and some info about all the rooms on the main menu screen, but it is a very fun game. Make no mistake about that!

Average. Seems over rated.. Mechanics of the game seem very simple. Mathematically, everything does the same thing (subtract damage received from monsters). Maybe I’m mistaken and I haven’t invested too much time in ‘leveling up’. The presentation is very good.

Great free mode, even better paid. Game is similar to Slay The Spire and a ton of fun. I was super happy with the free mode, but unlocking the full mode and accessing all the new cards was even better. Highly recommend!

Great game. Awesome update, however I have a couple concerns to report; 1. With lash only hitting up to 3 monsters it seems there's no way to complete the 32 damage achievement 2. Frenzy affects the first weapon you attack with after using it rather than your equipped weapon when using the ability. This means frenzy can transfer to a weapon you equip after using frenzy.

Really fun and simple game. It's a solitaire style game that feels really simple but has some unique aspects to the gameplay - I'm always coming back for the art style and that feeling I get from playing a game that mechanically works like solitaire back when I had windows 98! Menu looks really ugly but dope game.

Fun and relaxing. I like this one when I need a quick gaming fix for a few minutes. I can see people playing longer than that though, as this one is pretty fun too. It’s nicely balanced to me in that it’s simple but not too simple. And also challenging but never too aggravating either.

Very fun. I love this game! Just getting the free version has some great gameplay. I love the concept and the game doesn’t make you get in app purchases like most mobile games. It’s just annoying how much it bugs you to get the real game if you just play the free version.

“Check your internet connection”. The gameplay is excellent and I was enjoying the game but then, suddenly, I can no longer access the daily dungeon (amongst other features). It keeps saying it can’t be loaded and that I need to check my internet connection, but I know the problem is not my internet connection, as I’m connected to my wifi and can play other games just fine. I had been considering purchasing this game, but I wanted to make sure that it will hold my interest for a long time first … this bug is a major turn off because there’s nothing that will guarantee that the daily dungeon and other features will work properly after I pay.

Genuinely surprised. When i saw the free part of this game was basically a demo, i thought i would play this game a few times and eventually delete it, but it turned out to be an amazingly in-depth dungeon crawler/ card game. Paid for the full version. Entirely worth it.

Great game! Very addictive!. The card designs are good! They remind me of cartoon drawings of what a child's nightmares might be! Subtle animations are good (the little that are they). I wish they're were more deck types. Current version I occasionally get a crash during avatar death animation using iPad 2. Other that, love the game. Keep up the good work.

Okay but could have used more work. This game is a fun premise executed… okay, but not great. You’d expect a classic fantasy-based game like this (with weapons, shields, monsters, etc) to involve fighting off badguys as you move through the “dungeon”, but you mostly end up just letting monsters hit you and then healing with potions over and over. You also have special ability cards that are randomly mixed into your deck, but these abilities are crazily unbalanced, with some that you have to unlock with coins being so bad you’ll wish you hadnt unlocked them. (For example one ability can easily take out two enemies with health of 10 each, and another ability does an average of 3-6 damage for the same cost. 😐) Ultimately the game is still worth checking out on the free version, but I can’t really recommend paying for the other modes and unlocks. I wish they had spent more time on ironing out the concept but maybe they’ll patch it some day.

Gets repetitive. Almost no deck customization. Occasional crashes at the end of games. Win card “Champion” which is the most expensive one, counts as a loss in the only mode where wins and losses are counted.

Great take on solitaire. Just enough strategy and score-chasing to fill 5-10 minute blocks. Highly recommended.

I love the shared world of your games. Within the past 2 weeks Ive downloaded all of your games. I especially love the 3 (card crawl, card thief, miracle merchant) that seem to all take place in the same imaginative fantasy town. Every character in the games or in the background really have a life of their own and hint at a very fun world with mystery and unique stories. I hope you keep making more games set in that city/world. Might even want to make a flash cartoon series. It’s got the potential. Incredibly fun games too. Home run

Endless playable fun!. I’m addicted to this game; it’s a good mix of rock-paper-scissors, making you constantly gamble with your health, surprisingly challenging at times, it’s the perfect game to play if you have a few minutes or a few hours. Told myself I wouldn’t buy mobile games after buying a couple stinkers, but this is DEFINITELY worth the money! P.s. check out their other games, this company releases quality content (Hoping for more cards and variation in the future)

Distracting, but unlocks are unfun. Exactly as the title describes. There is a fun distracting puzzle element but almost every unlock is incredibly luck reliant.

It’s decent. It’s a great game, don’t get me wrong. The only issue is the gameplay itself. There’s times where you’re stuck with cards you can’t get rid of during your turn, forcing you to restart the entire game, which is both frustrating and irritating. And it happens a lot! Just beware: if you play this game, you be stuck on one game with 4-5+ attempts because you kept getting clogged with cards and no other options

Quick and fun. Fast rounds and addictive play. Goals are all achievable and if you like grinding you will have a blast. Wish there were more like this.

Top ten favourites. I grabbed this on a whim before a long flight and the next thing I knew, we were landing. My only complaint is that the game doesn't really get harder between the third and hundredth rounds. It's fine because the challenge comes from pushing for high scores, but it would have been nice to unlock, say, new enemies alongside new abilities. Apparently Delve mode is a real challenge but it takes a long, long time to unlock.

Basically a demo. You can only play the normal mode even if you unlock the rest and you can only get the first 10 cards. You have to pay for everything, if I didn’t I would of given the game 5 stars. Also most of the other reviews are bots

Enjoyable game. I really enjoyed this game - it helped me survive extended holidays with family. While a few cards don’t function as described, on the whole it’s a fun game. I’ve unlocked all the special cards so now I just play for the daily deck. The art connection with Card Thief is nice.

Fun, addicting and challenging.. This game is a lot of fun and challenging. I also find it quite addictive as it easy to pick up, play for ten minutes or less and put back down easily with a game or two completed.

Straightforward and fun. Games are fast. The concept is great. My only feedback would be I wish there was more variation between the games, but otherwise this is the perfect game to have on my phone.

Fun until the endgame. This game in essence is incredibly entertaining. It’s always fun to mix and match special cards to try and garner the best reward possible, but in the end, there really is no meaning to it. No endgame other than unlocking all the characters and entering Delve mode hundreds of times. It really has lost its luster, but I’m happy to have gotten it for free.

No longer supported?. Daily dungeons and custom mode no longer work and request to be connected to the internet. Game itself is fairly straightforward, but I haven’t been able to put it down.

Great game but Trophy?. This is a beautifully rendered and entertaining game. But what is the point of the Trophy screen? When I go there, it allows me to feed a game result to a monster head inside a container. That’s it. But there’s no wait to get out of the trophy section without closing the app. I see nothing in the FAQs addressing this issue.

Bash should apply to Tame monsters!. That’s literally my only annoyance. Otherwise the game, especially the Daily Deck, is great. I play the daily almost every day.

Best game. I honestly love this game. The music, sound design, animations, concepts are all so cool and is totally worth the small price you pay. I play this game whenever I just need a step back from the world

Great game!. It’s a very fun, quickly paced strategy card game. I am really enjoying it. I only wish there was an UNDO button during gameplay for when I accidentally drop a card in the wrong slot.

addictive but more progression. Addictive little game. Only negative is that I wish there were a bit more progression, ie diversified enemies/opponents. I see the quests but I have yet to unlock them.

Addictive. This game is so beautifully balanced that it just pulls me in again and again. It's easy to learn and intuitive to play, yet continually challenging. I have all this developer's iOS games and this is my favorite and definitely the one to start with.

$5 not worth the grind. The game plays well and has a fun art style. Cool idea. But for $5 I’d expect much less of a grind to unlock almost anything. Honestly a waste of time and I’m embarrassed I paid money for this. I can already tell the manipulative ways it wants you to spend time playing it…I’m not falling for it. I got bored really fast after playing for a few hours with no almost no unlockables to show for it. Such a waste of time.

Game crashes on starting. I have an iPhone X and every time I try to start a normal game the app crashes. Also it’s not optimized for iPhone X. I tried contacting the developer before this review but received no answer.

Amazing game. I was very enticed by the way the game looks and gave it a shot and holy crap I love it great cards and very challenging. Side note you do have to pay for full game but great price value for the amount of content so ZERO complaint there.

Love this game but the latest update... Love this game but the latest update has issues. First time I launched it, the screen was so dark I couldn’t see it. Now after quitting and relaunching, card movement is stuttery on my 2018 iPad Pro 12.9. It used to be buttery smooth.

This got me in trouble with Narcotics Anonymous.... Enjoyed it up until the day I was finishing a hand and my “loyal” Anonymous friend called me out during a coin ceremony that this was “...your recovery...”. Now I’m a pretty worthless as a result.

Keep coming back to this. I keep coming back to this game. Thank you developer for keeping it updated, it seems to work fine on XS Max. It’s not too easy, not too hard, perfect for short sessions (as well as “just one more” sessions). Love it!

This is not a fake review. This game is amazing! The graphics and art is fantastic, and your you can even buy/earn characters and cards! I really enjoy the game! I haven’t encountered any glitches as well which is awesome! Worth the money!

great for people with ADHD. this is the one game that my brain doesn’t get tired of. this game stimulates me just right and i’m always playing it! it’s fun and i love the design as well.

Double charged. I started with another game card thief and then saw the developer have this game available too. So I paid $5 for it and had access to the entire game now I’m being told I have to pay an additional $5 to play anything but the bare minimum. I really enjoy playing but don’t have access to my favorite features anymore.

Simple but awesome!. The game is pretty straight forward you draw cards use them or battle them to survive till all the cards been drawn. The challanging part is to get as much gold as possible in the process! :) the art is pretty weird but in a good way. All in all pretty cool game.

Caution!. This game is good enough to buy. I did once. Now it’s behind a paywall anyway. It’s worth buying once, not twice. App support doesn’t work either. This is true of Card thief as well. I haven’t checked Miracle merchant, Maze Machina, Card Crawl Adventure, or Gnomitaire yet, but I’d approach all with the same caution; until it’s addressed by the developer.

Very Good Card Game. Very simplistic and easy to learn yet there’s enough strategy to keep you interested. I was surprised to see a 5 dollar iPhone game but there’s no annoying ads or pay to win.

Been on my iPad for years!. Elegant, polished solitaire game with a fantasy lore touch. Sure, winning is simple, but hat isn't what it is all about. The risk vs reward in an attempt to get a higher score is the true beauty in this title. Very well done all around.
