TV Cast Pro for DLNA Smart TV App Reviews

Fast connect is a joke!!!. I’m probably doing something wrong though. I’ll change this review if it turns out I am.

iPhone X. This App does not work on TV TCL and I have installed this APP on my mobile. IPhone X I can not plug in and enjoy viewing some movies on your iPhone. I can not view it on TV

Horrible app, waste of money!. I purchased the pro app to avoid ad pop ups! Worst decision ever. The pro app will not cast to any of my devices. I should’ve just stuck with the free one and dealt with the pop ups!

Old technology. Do not buy it!!. It does not work with my iPhone 12 Pro on my 2023 Toyota Sienna. I wasted my money buying this app

No good. Cannot find videos. I purchased this item thinking it could cast my video to my Sony TV but the app could not find any videos. It did find pics and music.

At least it works. My problem is that everytime I try to cast photos to my TV it says: “Your video is stored in the iCloud. To download it, play this video first”. Then when I try to play it locally, it says: “iCloud error - There was an error connecting to the iCloud. Please make sure your wi-fi connection is working. If this message persists, please reboot your iPhone, and restart Video and TV cast.” I’ve rebooted my phone, restarted the app, and the only thing not working is the video and TV cast app. Some of the photos will work, some videos work, but not all. And there is little or no instructions on how to use the app.

Great app. Love it .....worked at download as described. Would like to be able to have photos stream without having to select each one to view.

Dish box compatible. I go thru hell trying to get it to play on my dish network box. Probably plays 10% of the time. Also, when it doesnt, it messes the box up and i have to reset it just to get back to tv. But thank u for the app. My gurlfriend burns the chromecast up and im stuck with wrestling with the box.

Pretty good/lack of controls. The U.I. Is rather awkward but usable. But the one thing that really keeps me from giving it five stars is a lack of control. Neither the forward or reverse button on the remote works. So there’s no way to easily back up or forward the video. (I have discovered a way you can go in and scrub it but it would be much easier from the remote.)

Doesn’t work on Sienna!. Do not buy this product for any video streaming in the 2021 Toyota Sienna from your Apple device. It doesn’t work.

Videos wont load. Keeps saying to keep trying again but am literally getting tired of trying need my refund please

Awesome Professionally Coded App! Buy it!. I used this application for several weeks before I finally bought the pro version. NO REGRETS AT ALL. If you need to cast videos this is your solution. Buy it!

Freakin love it. I paid for the premium stuff and it works great.... it automatically connects and the websites I use to stream have insane pop ups so the pop up blocker makes it easier to deal with

This app is terrible. Do not buy this app is very non compatible and have too many versions to even understand what you are doing if you do buy it you will soon want a refund for an app that should be free. Terrible product

DO NOT BUY !! Does not work!!! Rip off!!. This app does not work AT ALL any video you try to play, including their own tutorial video, tells you that it’s not supported and it will not play then automatically disconnects you from the app. all the app support people say is “sorry for the inconvenience” they will not return your money they’re basically just stealing your purchase cost Apple needs to remove them from the App Store!!

DLNA. Works great

Has no functionality. When you try to cast a simple picture all you get is an add for another app. If you check the reviews on that app the consensus is that it is a good frustration generator and does little else. I don’t need more expensive apps that don’t work.

Stupid app. They’ve charged me three times the Rocu app tells me to upgrade then it goes to DNLA and I buy the stupid thing go back to the Rocu app and it repeats over and over you must upgrade it’s like ground hog day over and over.

It’s really good. Really good but not all videos play. You can’t fast forward. Sometimes when playing it disconnects on its own. Very plain UI

Browser Streaming. Sometimes some sites will stream but most times it is difficult. I had to continuously sign back into my cable provider in order to play content. The app requires a lot of work when it should be start and play. Unfortunately, media sites are also practicing what the music industry suffered from. Fighting technology will only make users disloyal if you disenfranchise our options to have access to content.

Fails. Fails to work the support is not available

Screen mirroring. Tried everything that I could find on the Internet & can't get app to work. Sent an email with screen shots and have heard nothing. Not worth the $13 for the Pro app, unfortunately.

Crappy app. Paid for this app and it doesn't work on my tv even though it said it would. Tried contacting support and didn't even get a reply! Horrible app

Works Well Most of the Time.. The app is great and connected to my Xbox one right off the bat, only downside is that every now and then the app will crash which will make the video stop, it’s annoying having to set it up and find the right spot I left off, but other then that it’s a great app
