Awesome worth the money. This is an awesome app love how easy it is to use and it’s great for getting the raw video over to meta. I do wish stability was able to be turned on when HD was on I also wish we could get 60 fps on 4k videos not sure that is the developers fault though.

Great App. This app is a lifesaver. My feature request would be to be able to process L/R stills into "spatial" photos in the same way you can do videos now.

Spatial video doesn’t work on Vision Pro. I don’t know what’s up with all the apps that claim to do things with spatial videos, but non of them work as they claim. This app is no different. I captured a spatial HDR 4K 30fps video using this app, airdropped it to my Apple Vision Pro, it been added to the photos app, but when trying to play the video, it only plays as a regular 2d 4K video. Am I missing something? Should I do some steps after I recorded the video? I was excited to see the magic of iPhone 15 pro max, capturing 4K spatial video via this app, while the build in iPhone camera app lets me capture only 1080p spatial video. But it doesn’t actually work as intended.

Works perfectly for a 3d projector. Using half top-bottom worked perfectly

Spatial Video with Open Gate and Apple Log. Version 2.6.0 is a huge update! It has added Apple Log, ProRes, higher bit rates and open gate Spatial Video. If you love capturing your world in 3D, you should be using this incredibly featured packed app. This app has been the essential app for performing great conversions from the MV-HEVC format into other formats for editing fand now has become an excellent capturing app also. Thank you!

Meta quest 3 owners. If you have meta quest, you no longer need this as meta app now allows you to upload your spatial videos recorded on your phone to the device directly.

Blurry background on right. I’m getting blurry photos on the right eye. It’s as if the right side is set for portrait and the left side is set for landscape. I haven’t seen any way to change that. Very distracting when you look at a 3-D photo and one side is blurry. Hope to find a fix.

Turn off Horizontal Disparity Adjustment. With it on the video had too much ghosting on the Lume Pad 2. With it off the image was amazing. Before I discovered this I was ready to give up on Spatial Video. Game Changing app.

Give it access to all photos. It will have trouble saving if you do not give it access to all photos.

No longer opens on Vision Pro. On VisionOS 2.0.

Very good and could be excellent. Right now the photo capture is great. The 4k video capture is also quite good but there is no motion stabilization unless I just can’t find it in settings.

Does not take spatial photo. Spatial photo does not work. Clicking on the snap button in landscape mode does not take a photo.

Best Spatial Capture on iPhone. Incredible!! Keep up the great work - purchased when you added 4K HDR capture and it is stunning to view it in the Apple Vision Pro. Love capturing spatial photos too! Would love if you could figure out Spatial Live Photos - not sure if that would be supported or not by the photos app? Great work allowing the action button to do captures too!!

this works mostly. finally an utility to convert side by side video to spatial. dev. there are an bug when converting video from Kandao EGO, it grab two different bits of the video, resulting in entertaining eyes seeing different views.?

Great App. I wish if the video player can support the built-in Airplay mode so that I can watch them directly on USB-C glasses.

Incredible recording quality compared to Apple Spatial Video. The app is really amazing, thank you so much. I have changed the Camera Control button to open Spatialify and I don't even use the native Apple Camera anymore. Taking a screenshot from a recorded video reveals the significant improvement in image quality when using 4K. There is only one significant issue for me., that you could perhaps fix. Obviously the camera is Landscape while recording, but the app seems to only have an internal Portrait orientation. This is an issue when Screen Mirroring because the orientation is then rotated 90 degrees into Portrait. And with the new iPhone, Orientation Lock cannot lock Landscape, only Portrait. If you could update the app so that it displays correctly in Screen Mirroring, something the Apple Camera already does correctly, then the app will be 5-star. I have one more suggestion, but it’s not important like the first request was. Neither your app nor the Apple Camera app allow the Flash to be used. Is there a technical reason for this? If not, an option to enable the flash would be awesome.

Great App. Edit: He basically implemented almost everything I wrote months ago. That makes this app amongst the best consumer stereoscopic capture. Developer is a beast! All other spatial apps are cooked. This app is great and currently superior to native app for spatial video. It’s currently the best spatial app available as of this review. Improvements: Allow recording directly to usbc drives same as native camera app for ProRes. A HUGE improvement would be to allow recording to external storage!!!!! Allow us to record in other formats rather than batch processing them. Streaming to Avp and other headsets. Frame rate options like 48fps but that is niche. Either way this app is great I just hope it continues to get better. Last update intro higher bitrates. This man is a beast. Don't hesitate to buy!!

Does not work on iPhone 14 Pro Max. I purchased this app since it said it was compatible with my phone but when I opened the app it said I needed iPhone 15-16 to work the camera. That’s the whole reason I got it. Very misleading and Apple will not refund me my 2.99 I paid for it. Like they are going to miss 3$ out of their millions!!! Come on Apple!!

Great!. Awesome tool to convert Apple Spatial videos to a more accessible format. Is it possible to export in a higher bitrate, ex. .mov, for a more lossless quality?

Great App, missing PAL frame-rates. Thank you for this wonderful app, please add support for PAL frame rates (25fps and 50fps) so that we can avoid neon flickers in Europe (50Hz power)

Amazing 3D Video. Is very nice that with this app and a cheap VR device and the iPhone 15 pro’s spatial video capability I can view 3D videos taken with my iPhone. The quality is amazing. I would like there to be the option to shift the video down as my vr device cuts off the top of the video. Otherwise I am really happy with this app.

Must have for Vision Pro owners. Great way to take spatial photos while on the go. The quality is surprisingly good. I also like that I can show people the pics in SBS mode. Wish I could give it a folder with spatial photos so my friends can swipe between them while in SBS mode. Keep up the great work!

Works great for quest. I’m very happy they made this and that it’s free. Thank you very much. One would expect that such a function would be supported natively but of course it is not. This works great.

A Spatial Video Production Workhorse!. As a Spatial Video creator, this app is a must! It reminds me of the time Filmic Pro empowered a wave of iPhone filmmakers — well, this is that app but for Spatial Videos — it’s indispensable! I appreciate the ability to shoot HDR at 4K per eye even if only at 30 fps. A big wish for post-production workflows is for recording Apple Log 2 in the future. 🙏🏻 The most recent update added more MV-HEVC bitrate options and that was just brilliant. Also, the ability to record Spatial Audio is outstanding. I don’t say this lightly — if there’s one third party app I cannot live without, it’s this one! ☝️

May work?. May work with VR googles but not working with my VITURE XR glasses. Could be settings from my end?

Nice to AirPlay to a 3D TV. I love that I was able to convert my spatial videos into a side by side format. And I Airplay my side by side videos on my 3D TV and I was able to turn on the side by side 3D mode and get a nice 3D video. Love it.

Amazing app, except…. I’ve had a handful of very important videos freeze after 5-6 minutes of recording. The camera says it’s still going, but when I go watch the video, it reaches a certain point and freezes until the end. If there’s any way to retrieve the rest of these frozen videos, this will be a five-star review!

Crashes immediately when exporting from SBS video. Unfortunately, crashes when I try to convert a SBS video to a spatial video. Have tried iOS, iPad, and Mac - and in all cases it crashes the app immediately.

Spatial photo taken very grainy. The spatial photos taken with this app for some reason are very grainy even though they have higher resolution than those taken with the Apple Vision Pro. Otherwise I would’ve given this app a 4 star rating. The user should be able to quickly use this app to take photos without needing to click a few buttons first. Just make the photo mode default instead of the menu.

View spatial videos!. I got this to view spatial videos taken with the Vision Pro. It worked perfectly and was well worth the purchase. Thank you!

Love it. I wish I had gotten this app a year ago when I got my 15 pro max. Great for recording spatial video either with the iOS camera app or within this app. Then I export the video to be viewed side by side on a cheapy set of goggles I found at goodwill. I’ve always been fond of stereoscope/anaglyph/etc everything and this is a great way to embrace that. I wish I could live stream from my phone to another phone (or online). Where my phone takes in the spatial video and streams it as side by side video do be viewed in a google cardboard/googles device.

The app works well except... I use the desktop version, frequently, to convert spatial video files to SXS 3D video files. Spatialify does this well and reduces the file size, somewhat, without sacrificing the video quality. One aspect I find annoying is that, at the end of processing, the “Save” dialogue is unstable and will disappear before the video can be saved. I have to begin the transposing process, all over again. I keep hoping g this will be fixed in an update, but it happened again. I’m using version 2.4.1

App on the right track, could use a few more tools. After a long time troubleshooting why I just couldn’t view a video made with spatialify on my OQ2, I finally found out that MÆTA no longer allows viewing files encoded with h.264, only h.265. The OQ3 can view them though. The really frustrating part is you used to be able to view h.264 videos on OQ2 just fine. Anyways, I know none of that is your problem. It would be great though if you could add in some more functionality, like letting us choose the codec. That would be very helpful and much appreciated! Good job on the app so far!

Great app, better than Apple’s spatial video mode. Totally worth it!! One feedback: when recording video, the device can go to sleep. App probably needs to assert no sleep.

Best tool for Spatial Export. Even though it’s not really a feature yet, I like that I can take Spatial Photos and use the Action button. A feature request would be Spatial Video stitching and YouTube 3D metadata injection.

Can't make spacial video for Apple Vision Pro. When exported to AVP, the spacial video becomes regular 2D video and there is no option to export in 3D to apple vision pro.

Horizontal Disparity Adjustment. It’s recommended to turn this off to avoid ghosting, but no mention where this setting is to turn off. Anyone know?

Works great for Quest3. Using this as a solution to play apples spatial videos on my Quest 3. Just google the process. I use side quest. Works great!

It’s simple, but it works!. This app seems to handle metadata properly, and understands the 3-D formats involved.

poor quality. Even worse than apple Camera app. 1, loss high light. 2, many gradient layer in blue sky. 3, details in complex areas of the videos

Iphone15 pro max spatial video’r. Better than expected. Happy using both cardboard view with a viewer and crosseyed view with a large magnifying glass makes it easy for me to focus watching my own spatial videos in 3D.

Well worth the price!. A must have app for anyone with an iPhone 15 Pro or iPhone 16. Does so much more with spatial photos and spatial videos than Apple does. The fact that you can buy a cheap cardboard VR unit to watch your spatial videos and spatial photos using this app is amazing.

Nifty. Works well, but takes a long time for photos and videos shot on your iPhone to show up in the app on Vision Pro. I wish there a sync button included that would force the photos and videos to migrate. For example, I shot a two minute spatial video iPhone 15 pro max over 20 minutes ago and it’s still not available for viewing on Vision Pro.

Unable to share. Impossible to share pictures taken from this app. Get error message « Unable to share … there was an error» Missing feature: timer so you can be on the picture. Found a work around by using a Bluetooth remote control. The pictures taken with this app are phenomenal. A lot more detail than the Apple photo app. Got me hooked on 3D pictures. Gorgeous on a Meta Quest 3. Would get 5 star if not for that

camera is great; file conversions are hit or miss. converting a SBS photo to spatial just generates an empty file. meanwhile the only app support is via weibo. i don’t have weibo.

Works well, imperfect on 16 pros. Overall great app, like the ability to take 4K spatial video. On iPhone 16 pro the left eye resolution is much lower than the right. This could be a bug since in native camera app the resolution difference is minimal now compare to 15 pro. Maybe somehow the ultrawide camera still use 12MP instead of 48MP mode? Would give 5 star if this is fixed.

Works as expected.. No complaints so far. I record spatial video via the iPhone 15 camera app and convert it using this application. It then outputs a side by side 3d video (or photo) that I can view on my “cardboard” headset or my Valve Index.

Incredible. This app is fantastic, I highly recommend it, lots of updates! Possible improvements: 1) I love the wigglegrams but I think the last frame is sharper than the others, it would be great to normalize sharpness across frames. 2) Manual adjustment has greatly improved the quality of wigglegrams for me, and I wonder is it possible to allow manual adjustments for all images? 3) I would like to be able to export a wigglegram of a spatial video frame, would it be possible to add a frame selector?
