An actual life-changing app. Like every other millennial recently diagnosed with ADHD, I’ve turned to technology to help manage my brain not working so great. And Done has been an incredible help in establishing a routine: making sure I take my meds, that I eat!, even brush my teeth twice a day, etc. That’s where I started and now I have a whole morning sequence that’s so satisfying to check off. It’s so easy to forget those little daily things that make a big difference in health and that I’m now doing it consistently with Done’s help is so huge. I work in software so I also appreciate that side: The app is beautifully designed, it’s SIMPLE, taps and swipes do what you expect them to do - and when they don’t, they do in the next update. It was absolutely the right choice to split productivity functions in the rest of the Growth bundle into separate apps instead of something all-in-one, and while I use and love Last too, Done is as critical as GCal to me at this point. Thank you dev team, seriously - I see the choices you’re making and they are GOOD. I will probably be a lifetime user!

What!!!😡😅. This app is so bad I saw a add about it on TikTok I told myself wow 🤩 this will help me for not being lazy but I could not even use it it took really long to download when it finally finish I click on it and it kicked me out I could not even see anything about it.I turn off my phone because I thought that it was my phone but it kicked me out again.I was looking at the comments on the add on TikTok and a lot of people said they did not have a chance to see it kicked them out like my.☹️I don’t know how to some people it is working some people said that you need to pay for some stuff I don’t know they say it doesn’t work this is why I gave a one star.I understand if your fixing it right now or something but you should of at-least told us that you are fixing it!!! A lot of people spend their time to look at this app and just for them to get kicked out,are you for real.I will still have the app just in case hopefully you read this because I want you to fix this thank you for your time!!!😅😡

Done >>>> Other habit trackers. I discovered this app 15 days ago. I know this because I have tracked my vitamin-taking habit since the day I got the app and have maintained the streak since then. After spending 10 minutes with this app and then trying out alternative habit trackers (Habit—Daily Tracker, Daily Planner-Productivity, & Productive), I concluded that this app was the best of them. All of the before mentioned apps match in terms of stunning design and pleasing color arrays. None of them, however, can compete with Done’s affordability and functionality. The app makes habit tracking easy and effortless. It requires a one time payment of $8.99 (plus tax) in comparison to the other apps that require monthly payments. Although $8.99 seems unreasonable for such a simple habit tracker, it is completely worth it. This app has done everything I’ve wanted and more. It not only motivates me to complete my daily goals but also to go beyond them and make life choices that have made me healthier and overall happier. I completely recommend buying this app.

Used to love it, horrible customer service. I loved using this app to build structure and work on habits I developed during the pandemic. However, since using it - if I delete on of my “ goals “ to add a new one, I can’t get it back (even though I have less than the max amount for my subscription). Since the fall, everytime I open the app it offers a discount for premium. You cannot get rid of this screen even if you don’t want the discount. Since I can’t seem to add any new goals - I’ve tried to activate the discount but it always tries to just immediately charge me full price. I’ve emailed customer service about it MULTIPLE TIMES, never heard back. There’s no phone number listed, only an email with no response. I loved this app but this feels really bad and confusing. if you have like 3 goals and don’t care about having to exit out of a false discount offer everytime you use the app - this could be good for you. Otherwise I highly suggest folks look elsewhere for probably an equally effective service. Shame on you “done” team.

Checklist should only apply to that day. It defeats the purpose of having a daily checklist if all of my goals for every individual day of the week are always displayed. There should be an option to only display goals that apply to that specific day and not just an option for goals that are kept track of on a daily basis. Ex. If I have a goal for Tuesday and Thursday, on my Wednesday dashboard, that goal should not appear in the list my goals for Wednesday even though I can’t mark it as done it makes it less concise and clear what I need to do that day. Also, for perfection purposes my screen is never clear when I accomplish all of my goals bc there’s unnecessary goals greyed out on my screen. Overall good app though, this was just the one thing that really bothers me.

App no longer working. I purchased the upgrade several years ago and have been using this app religiously. Simple, straightforward, exactly what I needed. I was happy to find I could also add this app to my Apple Watch, but realized this past week that the app was no longer syncing. So, I updated my watch, uninstalled then reinstalled the app to the watch, updated the app on my phone, removed the app from my phone and reinstalled (which deleted years of data that wasn't recovered when I reinstalled the app), restarted phone, restarted Apple Watch, tried to restore data from backup, quit app restarted phone and app again. Now it appears that the app not only doesn’t work on my watch, but also doesn’t work on my phone. In addition, after the update on my phone I was forced to do a trial subscription which I have no interest in, so immediately canceled the subscription. All I see is a blank screen when I open the app. Really disappointed, this app has been a staple for me for years but if they have moved to a subscription model, I will figure out another way to track my habits.

Mini rant about an decent product with poor premium experience. I’ve been using the premium version of this app every day or so for the last few months to track habits and goals, especially since I’m under going diagnosis for ADHD. It’s nice to see the streaks and monitor my consistency - And the app gets the job done. But today, I had to write an email to the support team because every. single. time. I open the app, I get an ad for their “bundle”. Why am I getting targeted to buy their apps when I already paid for one of their apps?! It doesn’t make sense!! It’s not encouraging customer loyalty!! It’s not keeping in mind user experience!! It’s taking advantage of a customers willingness to pay for something with trust that they will be getting what they paid for!! This app is not special. I don’t need it. The marketing and app development teams need to remember that in order to sell more premium subscriptions, the product and experience need to live up to what it is marketed as! I feel like this is fundamental!

Could use some improvement. I appreciate the simple design, the colors, the interface, and the vibration when a habit is complete. The premium is great but doesn’t come with that many more perks. Some improvements or features that can be added to the next update are: - a quick jump between today, yesterday, tomorrow. (instead of clicking on the calendar then day). Like a line with the days of the week over the “all day/ morning/ afternoon/evening”. - being able to select which day weekly habits repeat (you can’t do this now, it will automatically repeat on the day you created the habit). - not asking you every time if you’re sure you want to undo adding a tally to a habit - add monthly habit option - update emoji selection - summary % of how many habits completed overall per day -summary chart has one overall chart for all habits so you can follow trends. - more color options. - health app sync improvements (glitch doesn’t correctly track the number of steps). - being able to include times or timers for habits - having a habit archive: here you can dump a list of habits you want to work on and will add in time. - more appearance features. - adding an option of timeline for when you want to complete the habits each day. This app is great but an update is necessary. I would be disappointed if there isn’t one coming soon.

Mostly bad. I really like this app. It works with my ADHD. The app generally works fine, and it’s nice to look at. But, two things I don’t get. First, the color palette where I choose the background for my tasks changed today without warning. My old tasks still appear in the old colors, but I can’t make a new task in the old colors, only in a new, muted palette. So being who I am (and someone who relies on color coding), I have to go through and change alllllllll the tasks so they match again. Sigh…okay. Also, the ability to make a monthly task seems to have vanished. I made a monthly task when I first got the app, so I know it was an option before. Why? This is so basic. EDIT: Downgrading my review, because the things I mentioned were actually facets of the same issue. Since I got the app weeks ago, there have been countless unannounced design/format changes. Every time I add a new task, the creation process is somewhat different (ie, you used to be able to add tasks to custom groups; suddenly all my custom groups are gone and tasks can be sorted only by time of day). It’s confusing and makes me wonder if I paid money for a product that was incomplete. EDIT 2: Possible scam? I paid for a growth bundle and it only applied to one app instead of the whole bundle. In-app links for support/feedback are all broken. Nice. If you want to complain or request a refund, try going through Apple. Developer does not want to be contacted for some reason.

My skin is looking great!. I’ve always struggled to keep up a solid skincare routine. In the days of skincare-crazed social media, I was feeling the pressure to be better to my skin. Plus, I’d seen my skin shine on the few consistent days I could keep up a good habit. I knew better days were right around the corner, but I needed incentive to make it happen. Here’s where Done comes in. Thanks to Done, I’m on a 15 day streak of healthy hygiene habits, and me and my skin are absolutely glowing. I’m halfway to building a healthy habit, but I don’t think I’ll quit Done once I’m washing my face twice a day every day for the rest of my life. There are plenty of other habits Done can help me build and I’m already setting more goals. I haven’t upgraded to the paid services because I don’t want to over-do it—two (three, actually) habits at a time seem like the perfect amount of responsibility. Thanks to Done, my goals seem a little more achievable. PS, my favorite feature? The ability to add habits completed after midnight to the day before. Don’t wanna break that streak just because I stayed up too late!

Used to be Great. I really used to love this app but like others have said, recently it has just stopped working for anyone needed support, with a previous premium subscription, or who wants to get rid of pop ups. I also had a premium subscription that seems to be invalid now? I’ve had it for years and the other apps continue to work but now It “can’t restore my subscription” and customer service has been of little help (they replied once again trying to get to me buy a subscription when I was already a premium member and haven’t replied to either of my other attempts to contact them) Not to mention the constant upgrade pop ups that are made even worse when you already have paid for premium It worked great up until maybe 5 months ago maybe less. Really sad that it is not working well anymore it was one of my favorite apps I hope they sort it out.

This App is 100% Worth The Long Review. I’ve tried several different habit tracker apps to monitor and increase/decrease the frequency of several activities in my life, but none of them come close to Done. A lot of these apps can have too many features, which I find gets in the way of successfully altering a habit. Done is simple, attractive and easy to use, while still providing a more than detailed breakdown of your habit statistics. When I found that I wanted to track a few smaller aspects of a certain habit, I discovered the journal feature. The journal feature was one of my favorite parts because it allowed me to write down the information and details about a specific day. For instance, if I’m trying to reduce how often I go on Instagram, when updating my progress I can make a note of maybe how long I spent on insta each time that I opened it. This feature allowed me to add a more personal touch to my goals, which definitely made them easier to keep up with, and just a little more rewarding when I achieved them. On top of all that, the app is absolutely gorgeous. You can assign a color to each goal, all of which are vibrant and pleasing. The app has a sleek, minimal interface that’s attractive but not distracting or confusing. I would 100% recommend the Done app for any goals or habit tracking needs you have. I’ll definitely be buying the unlimited version very soon!

Weekly habits are bad. Widget is bad. Reminder feature is bad.. I started using this app a while ago so I still use it because of habit, but the widget use to be much better. If you could at least go back to sorting the habits on the widget that would be great. I don’t understand why the 4 habits on the widget are preset and I used to love being able to move the habits into/out of the widget throughout the day as I completed the morning ones and the evening ones still needed to be done. Now I’m stuck forever with 4 random habits on the widget which makes it pretty pointless to me. Also, regarding the reminders setting. I remember previously, that you would only get a reminder for a specific habit IF you had not completed that reminder before that time of day. I don’t see that option anymore and it’s annoying to get reminders for things that I already did. Please bring that feature back. ADDENDUM for version 3.0.1. Weekly habits now start on Sunday and end on Saturday, yes this is the case even after you go and specify in the app that you want your weeks to start any other day than Sunday, your weekly habits will start counting since Sunday and end on Saturday. Extremely annoying. Please fix this soon!!

Great for forming positive habits. If you make yourself care about this, as I have, it’s a great way to hold yourself accountable for the things you want for yourself. I decided this month that I wanted to form positive habits and control some of the chaos in my life. It feels so satisfying to log an activity, not just for the colors and the app, but to look at it and say “I did these things every day” or “I meditated/exercised three times a week.” It really helped me realize how much better you feel when you introduce routine activities into your free time. I got the growth bundle and am slowly introducing myself to the other apps in the package. Aside from Done, Do and Grateful are my favorites. If you have the $10 to drop on the promo, I’d say it’s worth it to at least give them a try. Some are redundant-seeming, but this is a good way to try the premium features on the bundle for a year and see what you’ll want to keep after that. Only did the 4 stars because Done will sometimes/often glitch when I open it, returning me to the Home Screen and taking some of the satisfaction out of logging my activity. Other than that I haven’t had any problems.

Done with Done. I wish I could do 2 reviews - one for the app, and another for the developer. The app is great - simple, stable, easy to use, motivating. I have used it for over a year and was willing to pay its going rate (a one-time fee). I thought it was worth the low price. Now the app has gone to a subscription model and the price has skyrocketed. To be fair, the developer has given me a period of time to upgrade to the subscription model at a good discount. But the fact is that this is a pretty simple app that doesn’t get updated very often, and rarely adds new features. Seems to me a subscription should get me a lot more than a bug fix a year and no real new features. And what I liked about Done was that it really needed no new features - it did just what I wanted and the price for that was fair. I see that almost every similar app costs, so I will have to pay for something. But unless the app gets frequent updates or features, I won’t be paying for anything on a subscription model. Too bad - Done is a great app - but I’m done with Done.

Not worth it. Definitely not loving it. I bought the premium membership thinking it would make organizing easier but the premium membership is literally just for you to create more than 3 habits you can track. Nothing extra. Also if you really have this app to stay organized it’s pretty annoying. There’s no way to organize it in ascending or descending order based on what’s already completed for the day. If you have a bunch of habits you have to keeeeep scrolling though to see what hasn’t been done despite the reminders option it still would be nice to see it upfront. Also it’s color coded and shows bar graphs for each individual tasks… why would there not be one full graph showing which tasks are completed more than others? These just seem like pretty basic features the app is lacking especially for something you have to pay for. Not a bad app but should be free 100%. I can’t imagine recommending it to anyone just to keep a to do list that you can’t stay fully organized with.

Best App Ever. I've been focused on building better habits the past few months and have tried alot of apps in the process but this one is by far my favorite. The interface is simple and clean. Viewing your targets is easy as it gets but what I love most is the ability to set goals for the week and month as well. A lot of the apps I've tried before are very focused on the daily habits. Which is good and all. In theory it should lead to more productivity. But as I've read in a few books and experienced first hand, the scope is very limited and when you fail to meet your targets you start to feel bad about your progress instead of feeling more motivated to get back on track. This app is great because you can expand your view to monthly targets and not feel so bad if you slip up here and there because you can still see that you've made more progress than you think you have.

I LOVE this app.. As someone with ADHD, this app is an incredibly useful tool for me. I use it to track hours of sleep I get each night (the goal being eight), brushing my teeth and doing skin care twice a day, working out five days a week, walking my dog each day, clean the litter box once a week, etc. In school, I used it to log daily study hours. The only critique I have, is that I found the monthly goals very useful. I’d use that to help me remember chores like deep cleaning the kitchen (you know, like the inside of the oven and microwave that you don’t hit regularly but should do once a month) and taking my dog to the groomers. I’m sad that I can’t add any more of those monthly goals, and my only options are daily and weekly now. Overall, I don’t ever see myself deleting this app. I use it daily and I highly recommend it for anyone who’s ever been called “scatterbrained.”

Used to be AMAZING. Notice that all of the rave reviews are from 1-4 years ago. I’ve used this app for 3 or 4 years—a LONG time. It’s a huge part of my day, it’s how I remember to drink enough water, workout, stretch, take my supplements. It also has great stats and charts to track how many times you’ve reached your goals throughout. It’s fun to know my water intake for an entire year, and to compare stats from year to year. Unfortunately, in the last six months, each thing I love has slowly dropped off, one by one. I lose stats consistently, stats I’ve been collecting for years. It crashes. And now every time I track something, it automatically doubles or triples and I have to go in and ‘undo’. I’ve attempted to reach someone many times, with absolutely no answer. It’s like they’ve given up and abandoned the app. Really disappointed I’ve recommend it a ton and loved it for a long time. I now have no choice but to find another app to use. :(

Excellent app, questionable pricing. Do NOT subscribe through Done. The prices are more expensive. I wanted to buy this app, but it seems like the one-time purchase is no longer an option. I swear it was there a few days ago, and I read a MacRumors app recap from August 23 that mentioned the $8.99 one-time upgrade. In the Apple Store, both Done and the Growth Bundle state that the premium upgrade is available in-app. However, the only options in the app are $20/yr for the standalone app or $30/yr for the bundle. Maybe they changed their pricing scheme and haven’t updated the descriptions. However, pricing isn’t consistent across apps: the others offer the Growth Bundle subscription for $19/yr, which makes the annual subscription for Done more expensive than the entire Growth Bundle. I’m really disappointed because I wanted to support this app, but due to what seems like price gouging, I won’t. If you must, I’d recommend subscribing through one of their other apps. And if you’d like to purchase one, not subscribe, the four apps besides Done and Tally are reasonably priced at $3 to $5. It would honestly be cheaper to buy those four for life than to subscribe for a year.

It’s actually kind of funny how crazy this is!. I downloaded after seeing an ad on tiktok and it looked very helpful but it’s definitely not!! My biggest reason being it only allows you to have 3 habits before you have to PAY THEM for making a CHECK LIST lmaoo! First, I wanna get this out of the way, the tiktok ad… false advertising! Nowhere did I see that on the video! The only thing that could be argued as a “warning” would be where it says there’s in app purchases but that could be anything. A majority of apps I see with that and are similar to this one (aka self help apps), the in app purchases are extra bonus features. An example is on an app I have to do a daily check in, one of the extras are videos teaching you about mental health such as anxiety or stress. That makes sense why it would cost extra. The main function/feature of the app doesn’t cost anything unlike this app! This leads me to my next point… I believe this app is a scam! Honestly, who would benefit from having only 3 habits on their list?? At that point it’d be easier and cheaper just to write the list down either as a check list or even a sign in your room or something!

The perfect blend of simplicity and customization. I’ve used the free version of this app several times, but I ALWAYS end up subscribing. I’ve tried a million other reminder/habit tracking/wellness apps and I keep coming back to this one. It is the best app I’ve found that allows the perfect amount of customization without being overwhelming. The interface is super user friendly, you can set as many habits as you want, you can specify if you want to build or quit the habit (the ONLY app I’ve found that does that!), and even set multiple reminders for a habit. For example, I have reminders set to drink water every two hours on weekdays but none on weekends bc I don’t want them to wake me up. My only possible suggestion would be to include even more colors for the habits for people like me who have approximately 1,000,000 habits I need to be held accountable for!

ONE MAJOR FLAW. I would rate this 5 stars except for one thing: the upgrades. you can only do 3 habits without upgrading to premium, but it's 9$ for premium (one time) and I think 9$ is too expensive for just one app. then I saw that you can get the 6 app bundle premium for 19$. I got really excited about this cause all of the apps in the bundle look really useful. but then I realized that it was 19$ per year. it should be a one-time for like 25$ or something like that. I would totally be into these apps if that purchase was one time thing. besides that this app and the apps in the bundle look absolutely AWESOME. I am still considering getting the 19$ upgrade because I have a few iTunes gift cards so I could use them without paying for anything for about 3-4 years. thanks for reading this. I hope that this review helps.

genuinely perfect. i used to use Productive and i thought it was the best i could get! it was pretty great, to be fair. but when i recently lost my old apple id i also lost the premium membership i had purchased for something similar to the premium payment here. i downloaded it again via my new apple id, added three habits, went to add another one, and it said that was all i could add and that i could get premium for 30 bucks a year. that’s a far cry from a one time purchase under $10. i immediately deleted the app and went on the search for something similar. and that’s when i found Done! i downloaded it, added three habits, and purchased premium. i’ve been using it for a few weeks now and it’s perfect for me. it has the same sort of beautifully simple UI that Productive had, and a similar (but far improved) function. i love this app so much and the only complaint i could ever have is that i had to pay for premium, but even that is minuscule as it was only 7 bucks.

What gives with the downgraded widget?. I’ve been using Done since May 2020 and while I love it as a habit tracker, the old widget is what kept me consistent. It seems like not too long after iOS introduced embedded widgets on home pages, the new widget has become useless; I kept waiting to see if an upgrade would bring the old one back, but nope. It used to only be available on the far left widget page, which I didn’t mind scrolling to bc it was visually and functionally just like the actual app. I used to be able to expand the widget to see all 15 of my habits/chores and I could press the number on the far right to log that habit as done - just as you would on the app. Now, you can only see the progress of either 1 or 4 habits with zero interactive capabilities - clicking on the widget just opens the app. Part of what made tracking with Done so effective for me was how frictionless it was to access bc that far left widget page is also one swipe away from the lock screen. Ever since this change, I don’t use it as nearly as much and rarely find myself in the mood to log my habits retroactively. Please bring the old widget back! 🙏🏽🙏🏽

Avoid app - No support for paid version of app. Beware before spending your money on this app. Support is non existent. Look elsewhere for a habit tracker app that you purchase if support matters to you. For some reason the developer of this app is obsessed with doing complete overhauls of the app for what appears to be no gain to its users other that introducing bugs. This used to be an excellent app during the version 1 releases. Then version 2 and 3 releases followed with major bugs that in some cases still haven’t been fixed. One other major change is the developers obsession with using the smallest possible fonts everywhere. Earlier versions had clear large fonts that made it easy for users to use and interact with the app. Again if someone is paying for an app you would think that the developer would provide some level of support. Any message that get sent to the developer reporting bugs never get a response. All other paid apps from the app store have someone that responds to support messages and address bug reports. Hoping the developer sees this message and posts a response on why there is zero support response offered to those who paid for the app.

UI is different but once you get used to it, it’s GREAT!. All the other daily habit trackers are good but they’re always sophisticated. Done is just plain and simple. Build habits or get rid of them. If you’re looking to declutter your calendar, this is the app. I used my calendar as my habit tracker for the longest time due to not having anything similar to this app. I highly suggest you give it a try and try the free version. After a week of use I guarantee you you'll buy it. I said what the heck I spend 6 dollars for a drink at a bar, why not buy myself something useful and something that's going to last me a lifetime. 👍🏼 You gotta really spend some time adjusting to the UI though. That's the only minor thing. It's not that bad of an issue that should take 1 star away from them. I appreciate the work this team out behind this app. Great work you guys. Hats off fellas and ladies.

Love it, could be more fully featured. Love this app because you get the satisfaction of seeing the bars rise every time you complete something. Also love that you can set a goal to quit something, which means that I don’t need a separate app to track how many drinks I’ve had in a day, like I needed with it’s competitor, “Productive”. This app also has a much more intuitive interface than Productive. Things I dislike are that you can’t separate tasks into “time of day” like you could with Productive. This could be accomplished very easily by separating the “today” pane into “anytime” “morning” “afternoon” “evening” and “night”, each of which would appear as long as there were habits/goals assigned to be completed at those times. Only after you swiped backwards past those panes would you be able to get to previous days. And then, after a certain amount of time the app would reset to the pane that matched the time of day it was being viewed, to show you the tasks that needed to be completed within that timeframe. At any rate this app only gets updated every few months, so I don’t think that’ll happen.

It’s pretty solid. Offers a good amount of features. Premium is a one time $7 purchase which is fair and 10x more reasonable than others and no subscription which is nice. The interface is colorful and not really modeled after a stark professional tool such as excel. I would like to see a little more of a to-do list feature added in. I used this to primarily track some new habit I’m trying to achieve and it’s great for that but if a habit has layers it’s hard to put in. For example: if working out is a goal but the workout consists of pushups, sit-ups, and squats, you can’t partially check off each one. It’s an all or nothing one item click. You could separate all three but that fills up your dashboard. I also am using it now for some recurring to-do list items and it’s good but each item has to be its own thing instead of parts of a whole. Worth buying for straight habit tracking.

Tremendously effective. So you get 5 stars for Done. The bundle is pretty generic versions of better apps and decidedly redundant, but first year value is excellent. Would I pay $99/yr after that… um no. But you have a year to change my mind or lower the price. I do thoroughly enjoy companies that have a non-legal, plain explanation of privacy. Kudos to you for that. The actual privacy policies freak me out, as they all do. Not a big fan of other countries having different privacy laws and would appreciate a list of those countries and links to their privacy laws. Not that I would read them, but it’s like diving off a spring board and hoping each country has an actually minimum required water depth. Big fan of not landing on concrete. But again, 5 stars for Done. One suggestion, there has to be a workaround for zero goal. Not all goals are expressed as you numerically envision. Make it an option in settings please.

It’s good, but could use some easy improvements for night shifters. I work night shift at a hospital so I typically go to bed around 11am. This causes my daily goals to be reset halfway through my day. They have in the settings an option that lets you change your days start time which helps fix it, but only lets you go as late as 5am. Why limit it to that? Why not allow any time? They let you go back to previous days to fill it in, but it’s annoying to have to go back to the previous day every time you want to add to it. Also if you use their widget to easily update your goal, even if you change the start time to 5am, it clears the goal at midnight. That’s not that bad though because even though it looks like it’s starting over on a new day, if you go in the app it’s still adding it to the correct day in regards to your start time. I like the app but a few simple fixes could make it way better for all night shifters.

Small suggestion that would drastically help. I love this app so much. It has helped motivate me with so many daily and weekly goals. There is one update I hope the developers will one day work on. There is no way to easily track/view your stats on a WEEKLY goal basis. For instance: one of my weekly goals is to do 100 push-ups. When viewing the graph of this bar you can view by WEEK MONTH or YEAR. When viewing the WEEK stat it shows a breakdown of individual days rather than a single number. This should be a separate section labeled DAYS. The WEEK layout should simply show the TOTAL FOR THE WEEK rather than showing how much each day. For example, when I’m trying to see how Many push-ups I did this week vs last week it should just show one single number of the TOTAL of last week and the total of this week. Instead it shows a daily breakdown. That would be the one thing that would help users really track their weekly progress with ONE TOTAL number being shown rather than the entire weeks worth of individual daily stats.

love this app but could use a new feature!!. Okay so i’ve been using this app for about 2 months now, i absolutely love it, it keeps me on track with goals i set. I always feel so accomplished when opening the app after the week is over and seeing all my goals being finished. The app is great and it’s definitely helped with motivation, but one thing i would definitely recommend is the goals being able to be edited. For example, i set a workout goal for an hour, i have changed my workout a lot over the past month it is now only 45 minutes. I wish i was able to change the name of my goal to “workout for 45 minutes” instead of “workout for an hour”. This is just something that bothers me. Other than that this app is amazing and i love it so so much!!

I LOVE This App- From a Mom.. I use this a little differently than most probably do. I have lots of little kids and am frequently an overstimulated and overwhelmed mom. I realized that the only time I was intentionally touching my kids was when I hugged them at night, that I was nagging them all the time, and not spending individual time with them. I’ve read that for kids to emotionally thrive they have to be touched a certain amount of times per day. I set a goal for each of them to touch them, compliment them, and spend time with them every day. This has been so nice to see which kids need the attention because I can see who has been missed. It helps me to focus and remember through the day. And the amazing thing is, the more I focus on them, the happier and less overwhelmed I am. Funny how that works. 😉The only thing missing is a widget!

Was better before the update. UPDATE: Data corrupted!! After updating to the latest version I lost a bunch of entries and now my 75 days streak is broken up into smaller stretches. I was a yearly subscriber but I will now be uninstalling the app. Huge disappointment. With the recent update, the interface is a tiny bit sleeker but it's become extremely laggy at times (I have a recent phone). Some functionality such as removing a habit doesn't seem to work at all. For a product with a recurrent pricing model, I was expecting the product to get better over time -- not worse. Another complaint I have is about privacy. The app itself can be locked with a passcode. However, it seems that the app pushes hints to Siri, so sometimes you will see "add one count to habit X" on your home screen. It's not something I opted in either. I generally don't leave reviews but as I have been using this app daily for several years, I sincerely hope the developper can fix these issues.

A few suggestions. First off, I love this app! However I have a few suggestions. First in setting where you can sort you habits (last, first, manual etc) please add "group" so I can simply move things around by groups. I'm aware I can view by group at the top. Second allow change of the font/habits size. I have a lot of habits, I'd like not to scroll forever and viewing more at once is motivating. *Another idea/take on this. Perhaps also have a button or page called or with icon expressing "view all habits" this page would simply show all your habits in a much smaller font in their color. This provides an easy quick view of what habits we already have for of us in a visually helpful form. Similar to how they are shown when you go to manual ordering and then press set. Under the charts page please add a feature where you can view all your habits on one chart (let's say the bottom) with the amount of times you did them (on the left) and be able to change the time frame of the viewing (days, weeks etc) While I'm thinking on this one might add the problem is that this doesn't really display how man times you hit your goal just the amount of times you did it. Perhaps the ones where you hit your goal will be in their color while ones yet complete are in gray similar to the front screen. I'll add more as I think of it.

I name it won’t let me get into the app. So basically when I download the app I saw it on TickTock on TickTock like I’m an app like a fun app and everywhere and I was like oh my God I need this app when I download it it it wasn’t working when I went on it it took me out immediately and I got mad about that so then I went to TikTok and I searched up apps time that will help you with your name and talk to your habits and then there’s like another one they barely the way way so basically when I download the app I saw it on TickTock on TickTock like I’m an app like a fun app and everywhere and I was like oh my God I need this app when I download it it it wasn’t working when I went on it it took me out immediately and I got mad about that so then I went to TikTok and I searched up apps time that will help you with your name and talk to your habits and then there’s like another one they barely the way work so if you kill me saying that as you’re not you’re such a good app for people but it won’t work for me and I get mad about it So I don’t know but is it just because my storage or it’s because my phone was something wrong with the app because I’m really getting mad

Just what I was looking for. I’m not an app guy I actually think using a habit tracker is dumb. But I kept failing at certain daily habits so I thought I should try it. I’ve tried Streaker...but didn’t like the one color theme. I tried Productive...but it was a little too complicated for my taste and had to pay upfront before testing. Then I tried Done...and it was perfect! They let you test the app by allowing 3 initial habits to be created. If you want unlimited habits just buy the Done bundle not Growth bundle. Super simple. Intuitive. Great color palette. And enough detailed customization to really allow the user to buy into this whole “habit tracking” idea. I’ve had the app for 1 day so idk if it’ll increase my productivity yet. But I definitely have committed to the idea and am looking forward to some results. Thanks guys!

Crickets. I paid a one-time $7 premium upgrade in 2019 and have been using the app off & on since then. Now, all of a sudden with no warning, since the latest upgrade, I’m getting a nag screen every time I open the app that “minimizes” to take up space on the bottom of my screen trying to up-sell me to Premium which I already purchased long ago. Not only that, but the app is now slow/jumpy/doesn’t scroll quickly like it used to. When I try to contact support, I get no response. I liked the app for its simplicity and tracking but it’s not something I’m going to pay $60 for. I don’t even understand the pricing listed as it still lists a $9 One-Time Premium Upgrade. But I already paid that in 2019. So why would I pay for the app AGAIN when it doesn’t even perform as well? Plus just because the company decides to go with a subscription model, doesn’t mean it shouldn’t honor previous purchases. I WON’T be paying to upgrade. The app will be deleted soon if the nag screen continues and my previous purchase is not honored.

Removal of features makes this app no longer perfect. I miss the ability to see how long ago I last did each item. The removal of this feature was very disappointing & makes me unwilling to update this app again in fear they’re just going to remove more features with each update. I don’t understand why they would remove the ability to see when you last performed an action, and move it to an entirely separate application. I don’t want to have to check or use multiple apps for something so basic. Done was so perfect before and helped a ton with habit building, but with the splitting of these features into separate products, i am looking to see if another app exists with this combined functionality. Furthermore, I hate that I had paid a one time fee to get premium features and they decided to switch to a subscription model. Very disappointing.

Updated review. With each upgrade the app becomes more inoperable. There is a significant lag that makes it almost impossible to use. You should be able to just simply click and have it track your status however there’s about a 15+ second lag. Sometimes it catches your tracking and sometimes it doesn’t or completes an action you did not intend. The summary view doesn’t work with the latest upgrade and the app has been freezing frequently. The most recent upgrade also made it impossible to quickly view if you have tracked your goal for the day on monthly goals. You have to physically go into that goal to see if you’ve marked it. Again a waste of time because the app lags so much and doesn’t do what you intend with your first tap. I used to love this app however because it’s becoming so difficult to use I will likely have to find a new one to replace it.

Life-Changing. I consider myself an organized person. I write to-do lists in planners, in notebooks, on stickies, and on my phone. I am someone who is constantly looking for ways to improve, and I would frequently struggle to consolidate my ideas for habits to adopt. That is, until Done. I rarely leave reviews but this app is actually brilliant. Such a gorgeous and satisfyingly-minimalist format is just the motivation I need to keep with new habits. I actually want to open this app because of its beautiful interface and stunning color choices. I also love the many features you can use to automate your habit tracking on a recurrent basis, like (for example) having a tracked habit repeat every Tuesday and Thursday. There’s even a notification setting! I highly recommend this app to anymore looking to live an healthier and happier life with less hassle.

AMAZING for the ADHD brain!. For a person with ADHD, basically every other productivity / habit tracking app out there overcomplicates the work of setting up your habits AND tracking them. I want good habits, I don’t need a million bells and whistles and charts. In fact, for most of us with ADHD those are the fastest ways to get hyper focused, distracted, and then bored / quit. This app is BEAUTIFUL and simple to use - from the lovely little icon on my Home Screen to the pretty and clean organization of my daily apps. It lets me add a motivation (the “value” behind the goal - which has been shown repeatedly to make the goal more likely to be completed when seen), it clears the items off of my screen when I’ve completed them for the day (that’s one of the view options), it allows me to log a note or entry with my count that is easy to retrieve and see all notes at a glance, and the best part, it allows me to set a reminder for a specific time that only goes off when the goal is unmet! This app is a lifesaver! My only suggestion, start small - pick 2-3 easily achievable daily goals (rather than weekly): floss your teeth, make your bed in the am, take your vitamins/meds, etc). Once you start feeling proud for checking things off, add no more than 1-2 new goals a week or 1 new weekly goal! GOOD LUCK with your new habits! I’m rooting for you!

Extremely annoying upgrade modals. Used to really enjoy this app and its simplicity but recently started using it again and would get an “upgrade to premium for a discounted price” modal every time I cold started the app. This was incredibly annoying and completely antithetical to how simple the interface is otherwise since I had to close it with the tiny x button every single time. I finally relented since I wanted to add more habits than the standard version allowed, and they charged my card the full (and absurd) $60 instead of the promised $10. To add to that, I *still* get infuriating modals every time I open the app telling me to upgrade *yet again* to the Growth bundle. I now have to talk to customer service to get refunded the difference and the app remains not worth using regardless because I get this modal every single time. Devs/leadership telling the devs what to do, please don’t make your users close this modal more than once. It’s obnoxious, intrusive, and has lost you at least one user.

Love the App, Customer Service Not So Much…. I looked at every possibility before choosing this app, and I have to say it meets my needs 100%. Unfortunately I have what may be a simple question and that is how to make it work in the cloud between my iPad and my phone. Right now, it only works on my phone and the app which downloaded automatically on my iPad is blank and not in sync like my other apps. I’ve reached out to customer service through their contact section multiple times and have not heard back. This is probably a simple answer and I would change my rating to a five star if they would just get back to me to tell me how to do it. I really dislike having to use a review as a last resort to get their attention, but I also think potential users should know that there is an issue with lack of support. That should be the easiest part!!!

Used to love it, now it is broken. I have use this app for over a year. And it has been fantastic. I have not had any billing issues like some of the reviews talk about. I pay for the app on a yearly basis and have no problems with any weirdness regarding unusual billing. The problem, however, is that they have done some updates recently that have basically broken the app. I no longer look forward to using it. I just updated it again today and restarted my phone and it is still terrible to use. The problem is when you try to check off some thing that you’ve done the app now takes four or five seconds to register the click. and after you have clicked a habit, the app becomes hard to scroll, and will register that you’ve clicked on things that you haven’t. I will not be renewing this app when my yearly subscription is up if these issues don’t resolve.

Great User Display That Could Do With an Improved User Set. I sought out and downloaded Done entirely for the way it displays the habits. I like the colorful list style display of habits. Easy to see completion of all items and streaks at a glance. While it is by no means the power user rival of Streaks, it does have some customization in terms of frequency of tasks regarding number of times per days, week, month, or year. You can also set multiple reminders and create custom units. No way to do timer based tasks though, you’ll have to track the time outside of the app or guesstimate how long you’ve spent. There is a dark mode, but no option to have it switch automatically. Seems like that would be a quality of life no brainer! There is some Apple Health integration, but only for 10 or so preset tasks. Water is strangely absent. Ultimately, I gave it one star higher than Streaks because while it lacks many of the features, I find it easier to scan and use for the most part! That said, for the rather high price of the subscription - $24 a year!!!! - compared to the fairly low flat price of Streaks, one would expect a bit more polish and integration. Like, for the level of where this app is, I would expect it to cost what Streaks does and Streaks to cost what this does!

overall, great app.. i’ve only recently started using this app. i kept getting adverts for it on instagram and tiktok, and finally decided to download it. i have had similar apps like it, including the same company’s “reflectly” and a similar one, notion. i wanted to track the things i do every day and actually get motivation from doing it. i like that you can use numbers to help you, for example, when i drink 1 glass of water, it tells me i have 5 left. which for me personally, is very motivating! speaking of motivation, i really like that you can set up your own reminders and notifications for each task. really helpful to someone who never gets things done but eagerly wants to. the only reason i rated the app “DONE” as 4 starts instead of 5, is because i wish you wouldn’t have to pay for everything. you can only have 3 tasks, and then you have to pay $9.99 (monthly, if i remember correctly) to have unlimited tasks and any other things that come with the subscription to the app. but, overall, i think this is a great app for those who are looking for something to help them get things done, and ACTUALLY do them! (and this is coming from someone who never finishes things…until now!). - lily

Excellent Before Update - Removed Features. I used this app with much success to create and track habits. Not just daily or weekly habits, but longer term goals that would span across a month or year. This was incredibly helpful to see progress on goals both on a micro and macro level. Sure, I may want a daily goal for drinking a certain number of cups of water, or a weekly goal to get a number of workouts in per week. But what if I want to track a goal to contribute to a charity some number of times a year, or to try a new local restaurant some number of times a month? The previous version of the app allowed me to do this, and it was a major part of the reason I stuck with it and recommended it to others. If the developer restores this functionality, I would revisit this review. I haven’t heard back from their support team having asked a few times now about this issue over the last few months.

Latest update is awful.. I have used this app for over 4 years and loved it. Last year it crashed for a few weeks which was ridiculously frustrating. Then it started working again and I was so happy because the UI is perfect and it’s the most intuitive app I’ve used which is why I pay for it and keep using it. They just pushed a new update last week and it’s TERRIBLE. The UI is totally different, I can’t see my total streak anymore anywhere in the app, which is so frustrating. The main screen uses to show me how many days or weeks in a row I’ve kept up a habit and they just removed it. They replaced the font with one that’s smaller and harder to read. They removed swiping between days and replaced it with a calendar “choose” option which is infinitely more difficult to use and takes so much more time. I loved swiping between days. Overall this app is going downhill. I don’t know why they continue to change stuff, it was perfect as is. Change it back, then leave it alone!!! I’m searching for a new app because this one is really letting me down.

Great app. Intuitive, easy to use. Allows u to set a number of times a week for an activity without restricting yourself to fixed days for the activity. Love it.

Use this everyday. Have used this app for years. Wonderful that there’s a widget now. But for weekly goals, the widget only works from Sunday as the start of the week, wish it could work with Monday as start of the week. Also none of the links to submit feedback / contact developers / join Beta program work. Apart from that, it’s great.

Amount of goals you get without premium is ridiculous.. I thought Done was going to be a great app for tracking my goals until I actually downloaded it. You can only have three goals unless you pay $80 for premium, no point in downloading this with a limit of 3 goals. Not great and pretty disappointed.

Backwards upgrade. The last update now means I cannot add a new habit even though I’d paid for a lifetime as they now require a subscription. Doubling up to screw money out of customers. Functionality of latest upgrade also poor, now have to find the date in a calendar you want to check instead of the simple swipe and it adds a count of one every time you add a custom number. Developers need to take a good hard look at themselves.

Daily Habits. The first and last app I use each day. Great way to remind me of the habits that are important to me and how I am tracking against each. No brainer to me, as I know this app is keeping me happy, healthy and honest!

Desperate. Not only does this app rely on being constantly “on sale” for the premium subscription, which presents pop-up banners every time you open the app, coming off as nothing short of desperate to get you to sign up. Furthermore, recent updates appear to be more geared towards aesthetics than functionality. The most recent of which actually made the app less intuitive and less of an incentive to keep up streaks, by removing the streak count from your daily goals.

Good but the ads are annoying. It’s a solid app, makes it easier for me to track my habits and so on. However, the least you can do after someone pays for your premium is to stop showing ads for your other apps.

An app I’ll actually use. You can make daily weekly and monthly checks. For example drink 4 bottles of water daily, there is a bar for each 4 taps, so If you only drink 3 the bar shows 75% there

I’d give a 5 star review but…. I’ve just got the basic free version with only 3 tasks, it’s great and I’ve been loving so far and I haven’t had an issue with functionality PLUS I don’t need any more than 3 tasks so I was very happy until today. I go to make an update and I’m basically being forced to sign up to premium if I want to continue because I can’t click on anything other than the box that says claim my offer. BUT I don’t NEED premium. Why would I ultimately end up paying $90 a year for some I don’t need??? NOTE TO DEVELOPERS: don’t say you have a basic free version if you don’t. Say it’s a trial. I don’t like being forced into purchasing something that I don’t want or need. So if I can’t continue using it with just three tasks for free, I’ll find something else. Sadly chances are if I’d continued using it, I may have found other things I want to track and upgraded or at the very least told my mates about how cool it is. Not likely now.

I’m apparently on a subscription with it and need help because I can’t figure out how to cancel it. I don’t remember ever signing a subscription with them but its in my active subscription section on my apple settings and it says that it’ll renew later this month i don’t know how to cancel this or if it’s going to immediately draw the money from my account I also am unsure how to contact anyone for help and would really appreciate if I could get some

App lost functionality after paying. The app was great when I was using the free version with a limit of 3 habits. When I paid for the app I lost the ability to swipe between days and the total number of tracked days in each habit is not showing anymore. I’ve contacted support and have had no reply.

Needs shortcuts integration. please add apple shortcuts support, would help a lot. having to delete the app because there’s no point having it if i can’t automate things really quickly (i have adhd and a single notification won’t cut it, especially if i’ll have to open up a separate app to log stuff)

Good for the first two days. There is a premium purchase choice that pops up every 5 seconds in the app and you can only make one or 2 habits before you either have to delete the app or buy the premium. Bad for every day

Fantastic! But something else will bring it up a notch.... With the new IOS 14 update, Apple users are begging for 3rd party widgets to add to Home Screen! And I think that if you added this feature, ‘Done’ would become the #1 in the App Store! But overall very very happy with this app 😄

Password bug. I have been using this app for over a year and have had only a few minor inconveniences. Untill today. I have a Face ID and password on but even when it says Face ID has worked and shows the green tick, the main part of the app doesn’t open, it just stays on the password display. Avoiding using the Face ID to use the number password is useless and I can’t even put in my number password. Please fix this ASAP. Update: So I have been waiting for some sort of response, update or just something for a week so I’ll try deleting the app and re-installing. I’m not sure if my data will be gone tho. I’ll update this when I re-install it. I hope it keeps the data though because I’m a few months over a 1 year streak for one of my personal goals.

Somethings wrong.. I’d love to use this app, I saw it originally on TikTok and thought it was a great idea as idea really love to get some healthy habits, like making my bed and not forgetting to eat. I’ve downloaded this app twice now, and each time, it downloads fine, but when I go to open it, it just closes. Please fix whatever this problem is! I’ve been looking for an app like this for a while!

Love this app!. Ive been using Done app for a couple of years. The app is simple to use and beautifully designed. Its been very effective in helping me reach my personal development goals.

More colors please. I have been using this app for a while and upgraded a long time ago. I love it. Could you please add more colors please? I found some of the beautiful colors from previous versions are gone.

Used to be so good. I *purchased* the premium version of this app years ago. It was great, I used it everyday. Now whenever I open the app I am given an ‘exclusive offer’ to upgrade to the premium version. This ‘exclusive offer’ never ends. I can no longer access the premium features that I previously paid for, I cannot restore my purchase. I emailed the developers twice and never received a response. Total scam, they took my money and now they want more. Do not recommend!

Bad recent update and unresponsive customer service. I’ve been using this app since 2020. I paid for the premium version. Since the recent update I’m no longer able to add any additional habits and it keeps prompting me to upgrade to premium with an annual subscription. I’m unable to restore my premium account and I’ve contacted the developer twice now with no response. Very disappointing. I see I’m not the only one who has experienced this. I’ll no longer be recommending this app to family and friends.

Great app but functions can improve. I have been using this app regularly. Love the design and simplicity. The sync between apple watch and mobile app is inconsistent often giving me different counts. The two apps are not in sync. I rely on my watch app to keep tracking up to date and unfortunately this is not working for me now. I have paid for the app and now I’m annoyed. Please resolve this asap.

An Exaggerated Sense of Self Worth. I despise marketing which incessantly push their other products into your face. These developers believe that if you use one of there products you must use them all !!! After restoring years of archive history to a new phone, the app continually tells me I have UNLOCKED A SPECIAL GIFT and I can’t get rid of the message !!!! So after years of using the product I’m forced to say goodbye. I refuse to enable this sort of company arrogance!!

Worth it!. I just using this app and it’s honestly just what I needed. There is a one off payment for the pro version which I did. A lot of other apps make you pay a huge sum of money annually or monthly but this app is a one off and I am so grateful for that!

Great app, however…. I have used for years, but for some reason latest update is super flaky. User Interface and functionality seem to have gone backwards, and incorrectly displays number of task completed, which is in essence foundation functionality. 🤞 next update is just around the corner.

Fantastic app. Really great app for building good habits and quitting bad ones. I looked at a number of different apps and this was the best one, and it doesn’t force you to pay a monthly subscription to use all features like many of the others (if you want the pro version it’s a one time purchase - super worth it)

Game not working.... Every time I click on the app it gets out straight away so I haven’t at all got to even start the app I don’t know how to fix it I checked everything my wifi is good idk the rate would be 5 if I could use it 😂❤️

Amazing for helping with my ADHD!. A simple interface that was relatively easy to set up and use enabling me to keep on top of all the important daily tasks. With alarms and badge icons built it I was much more confident I wouldn’t miss anything important

Love it, but overpriced. I only bought it because it was 70% off and still that’s way more than it’s worth. I think it’s a beautiful app but to allow people only 3 habits for the free version is ridiculous. This isn’t a very difficult app design so charging so much is crazy. As much as I love the design of this, I will not subscribe again next year for full price when I can find something cheaper to do the job.

Bug, please fix.. I love this app - but this bug is very annoying. I’ve paid upgraded to the lifetime subscription even though I’m 100% sure I did that in the past anyway. Nevertheless I’ve done it again but it won’t let me past the subscription screen, it keeps on prompting me to resubscribe. But it’s taken the money from my credit card. I’ve tried everything from turning my phone off to rebooting the app and even deleting and reinstalling the app. It’s recognised that I purchased the lifetime subscription but won’t let me add new habits without pushing me back to the subscription purchase screen. Please help

APP UPDATES HAVE RUINED IT. Hate recent updates. Loved this app for years but just recently they have inexplicably REMOVED functionality - for instance, habits can now only be daily or weekly, not monthly or yearly. It also used to display a tick when you’d completed a habit that day, which was incredibly useful, but that’s gone now too. It’s like they’re moving back in time and releasing earlier, worse, versions of the app. WHY??? UPDATE: and now they’ve messed with the ordering of habits and I’m not able to change them back to the order I want; they’re locked into groupings by frequency. I will not be renewing my paid subscription.

Best Bang for Your Buck. I looked at a number of habit making apps and Done seems to be the best. It looks good, has a great suite of features and is cost effective. Best in price range and as good as or better than more expensive apps. One thing I wish it had was the option for a visual chain for your streaks on the main page instead of a streak number. Apart from that, it’s everything I’m after.

Disappointed. I used to love this app and it’s been crucial in helping me manage my adhd and make sure I take meds etc, but the updates have completely ruined it for me. Since they added the “limited time offer” ad it’s ruined the functioning of the app (the limited time also repeats itself every 24 hours so there’s most likely no end in sight for this). All the buttons are massively delayed in activating and it even freezes when scrolling. I emailed the developers a few times and they haven’t responded or changed anything. Hugely disappointed, im going to find a new app, even though this one has several years of recorded habits for me.

Have to Pay. The app has a great idea going for it, and I know it’ll help many others the same it’s helped me. The purpose and the ability to customise each task is amazing, and super helpful. However, you have to pay for a subscription as soon as you go to add a fourth task. Seriously? Three tasks and you have to pay if you want more. It’s such a ridiculous concept to have people pay simply for more tasks, and it’s such a small amount too. At the least let people have 5 or something before having them pay a subscription, but 3 is way too low.

Please fix this issue. Despite paying for a lifetime subscription, every single time I open the app there is a message that pops up telling me to purchase the lifetime subscription. I shouldn’t have to deal with this frustrating ad considering I’ve already purchased. Its been over two weeks now and this ad continues to pop up every time the app is opened. Would like this fixed.

Non-functioning, developer ignores users. I started out loving this app; I paid for the premium ages ago, and enjoyed the app updates. However I second other reviews - the latest updates have broken the functioning of the app. Any time you click on a habit, even if you close the counter box, it adds a count. Pretty much defeats the purpose of a habit tracker if the app is always adding an extra count that I have to manually remove each time. On a personal note, I really dislike not being able to swipe between days anymore; the UI just adds additional steps to change the date - as another user mentions, it’s like the updates have taken the app backwards! The latest updates have removed features that are working well, and ignored features that are not functioning. I’ve emailed the developer directly and responded to their request for footage; I’ve had no response. It saddens me that there is no indication anything will be fixed; I really loved this app but will have to move to another one.

Why’d you remove monthly habits?. Paid for this app years ago and was still using it but since it’s just getting worse and worse. I liked having daily, weekly and monthly habits so now I can’t track monthly stuff? Why remove that its ridiculous. deleting the app. 🙄

Glitchy. Such an awesome idea of an app. Love the simplicity of it. It is eye catching and easy to use. Such a shame though it doesn’t work properly. I can’t set the start of the week to the day I want. It just reverts back to Sunday. Also when I flick through past days it then brings that information forward to ‘today’. I’m peeved I just paid $15 bucks for an app that is this glitchy.

Love!! Changed my life.. A great app, very aesthetically pleasing. Definitely worth the upgrade price! It has truly transformed my life, I find so much satisfaction in adding to my little progress bar like my life is a game. It’s such a good way to be able to track my progress on certain habits and also habits I’m trying to quit. Visually being able to track them has worked so much for me as I’m a visual person. Highly recommend, would recommend to anyone trying to actively add positive habits to their life.

Great App - Needs Home Screen Widgets. This app is great and very easy to use. Following the latest ios 14 update, this app now needs to be able to be added on the widget Home Screen. It’s the main reason I downloaded this app, and it’s frustrating to now learn that it can’t be added.

The upsell is relentless. What a great app. It does exactly what it says it does. Easy and elegant UI effective reminders. So good that within 2 hours I had bought an annual subscription. Yet even with that purchase I get relentless prompts to buy the package of apps every time I open Done. This would be an easy 5-star app if you could disable the relentless nagging to buy their app package for stuff that most people already have (better) apps for, like calendars and task managers.

Too many bugs. Honestly, very disappointed with this app. Doesn’t seem to do the most basic functions and randomly adds tasks completed without me actioning. Defeats the purpose of what it’s supposed to do. Also paid for the premium version which is frustrating as there’s so many competitors out there so out of pocket as well Big thumbs down

Good but not great. I’ve been using the bundle of apps for a few days and I love the look and feel and functionality of them. What is annoying is how frequently it prompts you to try to get you to upgrade to the premium. I know I’m using the free version and I know what the premium offers so I don’t need reminders almost every time I use one of the apps about the benefits of premium. It’s almost enough to make me want to delete them all.

Not what I paid for. Upgraded to have unlimited habits but can still only add 3. The app consistently asks me to upgrade, acknowledges I have already paid for it but doesn’t allow me to use the features properly. Have emailed and messaged on Instagram a week ago but no response except from a bot asking me to sign up as an influencer for the app. Completely dissatisfied. Do not recommend.

Note properly supported on the iPad. Deleted this app after installing, the compatibility on the iPad is not really what i expected when the app only fills half the screen on forced portrait mode with no landscape mode support, the newer iPads mainly using landscape mode with the stands / keyboard cases so Turing the iPad sideways and only having 1/2 the screen in use is not worth it. This app may be good on phones but i would of preferred something that i could use on both my iPad and iPhone. I would not of downloaded the app if i knew it was not properly supported on the iPad. Shame because it could of been a very useful app.

Huge disappointment.. Wow. I cannot believe how this app turned from being so beautifully simple to un unbearably slow and glitchy. The previous update had already messed with the functionality of the app with all its promos for bundle buys and restricted choices. After updating the app to the newest version, scrolling was incredibly slow or the screen kept freezing altogether. The next time I opened the app, my habits of five years were gone, things that I had meticulously wanted to keep track of, and the app had reset to yearly subscription. I am unable to restore to the lifetime purchase I had initially bought and can only work with three habits. This app has become incredibly frustrating and now a ripoff for those who had already bought what was a then dubbed ‘lifetime’ access. I’m beyond believe. I loved using this app for years.

Not what's advertised. First of all, this app does not work on iPad. I can maybe understand this incompatibility if it at least said that plain and simple on the app store. But instead, I wasted time installing it just to not work at all. Even after that small hassle, I downloaded it on my phone. I was beginning to believe this system would work for me, until I realised this is practically a subscription. You can hardly use the app at all, certainly not in a useful sense, without spending money every month just for an organisation app. This was not said in advertising at all. Thanks, but I feel sorry for people who actually install this then start paying money to these people :)

Hassled me for a review.. I haven’t had much time with the app. I bought the paid version. After just a few hours of use, the app asked me for a review every single time I opened it. I shouldn’t be getting hassled after spending money.

Great design but slow. This is a colourful, well-designed app with a lot of great features. It’s great to be able to track my progress so easily. However, it’s much slower than before. When I tap, it doesn’t register immediately. iOS compatibility issue? And I’ve emailed support twice, but no response!

Paid for app then changed to subscription. I paid for this app when it was charging a one off fee for the premium version. I loved the app and used to it monitor changing eating and exercise habits while I underwent a 34kg weight loss. But it then changed to a subscription service and it’s just not worth paying a subscription for. Now I feel ripped off because I paid for the app and I can no longer use it for what I paid for it.

It has become unusable. I paid for this app a long time ago. I liked it’s simplicity for keeping track of goals and streaks. Now every day they offer me a special offer for a subscription which cannot be dismissed and sits in front of the text on the page. I am also unable to add new goals. Very annoying since I paid for it. Deleting.

Potential. Really excited for this app! Currently it does not open, hope the devs will fix soon!

Broken. Glitch does not recognize or let me purchase the new year new me bundle. So I cannot add more than 3 habits.

Promotions on app, won’t go away and hinders app performance.. I’ve been using this App for a couple years now and it has been great with really helping me build good habits and stick to them. I’ve built a daily routine and use the app daily. Unfortunately I now keep getting promotions to claim my offer on the Home Screen, which won’t go away and hinders the performance of the app and doesn’t allow me to use the app properly. Ex. I try to scroll down, and then it thinks about it and then it tries to delete a task or now it takes 30 seconds to mark off you’ve completed a task. (When I don’t have the promotion add. Marking off a task takes 1-2 seconds). I have emailed support several times and have not heard back from them. I am now going to look for an alternative app which allows me to use the app as expected to help me stay productive, vs now un-productive. Very sad to see this wonderful App, take a turn for the worst, just to upsell you. There are better ways to accomplish this, than hindering the performance of the app itself.

Can’t open the app. It doesn’t even load, I click it, it opens, it crashes. I’ve tried deleting it and reinstalling it and restarting my phone.

Extremely disappointed that a subscription is needed. I’ve been using Done for years now, since the beginning of 2020. I have always loved the app and decided to purchase the full version to unlock unlimited goals because I thought it was totally worth it (and it was). While the app has stayed almost exactly the same since then (not many major updates in my opinion that should change the value of the app), I’m incredibly disappointed that the purchase I made years ago is now not being honoured and that I need to pay a subscription fee to continue to use the app as I have been. Truly, it is a rip off to make someone pay a subscription for this app - a one time purchase makes a lot more sense given that the app content is rarely changing/improving, and even if it was - I can’t see how it could be worth an ongoing subscription unless I’m getting a personal motivator who is actively pushing and helping me reach my goals. Shame on you Done for making this greedy change. Honour your long time purchasers and don’t rip off new users with a subscription (BRING BACK ONE TIME FEE). I once loved and recommended your app to everyone I know, but will think twice before doing so now.

Expensive for what you get. Once you start setting goals you will realize this isn’t free and that this overpriced apps costs $12 and you just wasted 20 minutes of your time

Dishonest Marketing. Offers free year for growth bundle but charges you anyway. Not honest with their marketing.

Crashes immediately. I click on the icon and it won’t even open just crashes

$9.99CDN too much for this.. IMO just a little too expensive for what this is. I know ppl gotta make a living but still - feels to high.

Wont load. Unfortunately app won’t load at all and kicks me out as soon as I try to open it.

I’ve been duped. I was an avid user of this app for years, to the point that that I used to pay what i felt was a reasonable price (something like $52/year) for the premium subscription. I took a break from my subscriptions for a while. When i came back to the app, i thought the $25 lifetime subscription they were advertising was a great deal. I had such a good experience with the app in the past, i never would have even thought to look at the recent reviews, which all reflect my experience now: the $25 has gone through on my credit card, but it isn’t giving me the premium access promised, and i have reached out to the developers and am getting radio silence in return. I hope Apple will give me a refund, because this is incredibly disappointing. A betrayal of my trust as a loyal customer. Shady stuff like this makes it harder for actually well-deserving app developers to get the money they deserve.

Other reviewers please use the report scam functionality. The developers changed the app. It was a quality one time purchase app, now they’ve turned it into a low quality app with a subscription. Their positive reviews and awards are unrelated to the current app which is just here to scam old customers and new people.

Changed my mind. I wrote a review a few months back about how much I loved the app and how unobtrusive the upgrade prompts are, and they immediately switched to a very annoying (and misleading) daily countdown to try to strongarm me into an annual subscription. I’m sorry but this app is not worth $75 CAD/year (seriously are you out of your minds? It’s a colourful checklist). I liked that this was a simple and straightforward app that was pleasant to use, and I don’t want badges or prizes or achievements to unlock. I would like to continue using it as I have been - happily and for several years - without these pressure tactics or unnecessary bells and whistles.

Crashes. I couldn’t even open the app it crashed every time I tried. 0stars

What’s going on. So I just downloaded this app not even five minutes ago and it opens, then just takes me back to my home page. Not sure it’s a bug and if anyone else is experiencing this, but I am sure not impressed.

Don’t buy this app!. I have been trying for three months to contact the support team to help me with my subscription. I want to continue with the app but need some help and I can’t get it. Will need to switch to another habit tracker app because of the lack of support.

Fix your purchase restore button and the pop-up!. The pop-up to get you to upgrade happens twice every time I open the app and is driving me crazy. I also can't create more than 2 habits right now because even though I have previously upgraded to premium, the "restore purchases" button isn't working. This WAS a pretty good app for tracking habits, but these 2 things really need to be fixed. It looks like lots of other people have been complaining about the same things in the reviews for a while now.

Nice app, terrible pricing model. Done is a really nice, functional app. But there are constant prompts to upgrade to a premium bundle with a high-pressure countdown timer to warn that the price will go up to $75/yr within a few days. Does this mean that I would have to pay $75/yr going forward to keep using it? Super not worth it. No info is offered as to what the restrictions on the free version are, or whether there’s a one-time purchase option for just this one app. I’m not going to get in the habit of using the app if I have no idea what the real long term price will be.

Paid for membership but never got it. I paid for lifetime membership but never got upgraded from basic. No one replies to support email

I liked this app, but now…. I have been really enjoying this app, finding it useful and using it every day. Since the 3.0 update 2 months ago I have had an issue with the main screen not showing the correct progress for my weekly goals (I have my week set as starting Monday instead of the Sunday default). Also, when I enter info for a goal with a custom count, an extra entry is being added by the app. I have contacted support 4 times and have had no response from them and the bugs are not fixed with the updates. And now my previously purchased one time upgrade to premium has been revoked and I’m being forced to enter into an extremely overpriced annual subscription. I’m very disappointed with these recent happenings.

Crashing. App crashing

Beware of “gifts”!! A scam!. The app advertised a deal to upgrade for an annual price deal of $12 but it charged me full price $73 instead! This is disappointing and misleading to the consumer and I wish I could get a refund or at least the $12 price I was expecting. Definitely not worth $73 for this app.

Can’t even open the app. Wanted to try it but it crashes as soon as I tap on it. Deleted.

Dishonest gouging. This used to be one of my favourite apps and have been using it for years. It was a one time purchase which they’ve now purposefully slowed down to unusable unless you buy a subscription. Pathetic and shameful.

Buggy in app purchase, no support. Stay far away from this company - they don’t even bother answering their customer support. Horrible.

Great app!. I am more than willing to pay a one time fee for an app and this one nails it. Was going to pay for “Productive” but they’re trying to charge $5/month??? Have they lost their minds??? A one time fee is all this kind of an app needs, not a constant subscription service. You nailed it and I love it!

Done with Done. I purchased and loved this app for so long!! But then they started inserting an upgrade offer that I have to click through not just once but twice EVERY TIME I OPEN THE APP. I paid for this app—I shouldn’t have to be subjected to this. I wrote several complaints with no reply. I don’t need to make a habit of declining an offer. I’m done.

$499.99 for an app??. This is hilarious. You’re either grossly overestimating the value of your app, or you’re straight up lying to trick people into thinking they’re getting a good deal. Neither of those options are a good look.

I was excited too:/. Doesn’t even let my in the app that’s all I have to say

One time payment has turned into subscription model. Why

Great. Great but when i used the step count integrated goal with apple « health « step count, the numbers dont match….

No. I can’t get into it

Its so nice to look at, that it makes you WANT to succeed in good habits. Beautiful Design, not so straight forward to use at first (as its not clear how to access certain menus) but after a few uses its exactly EVERYTHING I have been looking for in a habit tracking app. I’ve went through a dozen different ones and this one is it for me!

It didn’t even let me in the appp. I can’t believe it

Dishonest and greedy. This app used to offer a one time purchase for the premium features, which I paid for. It’s now asking me to pay a subscription to access features that I’ve already purchased. Customer support finally responded to me after numerous ignored emails and told me they wouldn’t honour my previous purchase and that I needed to pay for the subscription. These people are crooks, do yourself a favour and use any other habit tracker on the App Store!

Scammers. I tried to add a new habit only to find out that it wants me to subscribe to a monthly or yearly plan. I purchased the premium version of this app a few years ago as a one-time payment. Now, it says I need to subscribe. Rip off.

Love this app!. This app has been a GameChanger for me in helping me hit my daily goals! I love it, and happily paid the subscription to take advantage of the extra features. I just hit 66 days of exercising and meditating in a row and definitely wouldn’t have without this app. Can’t say enough good things, it’s probably my favourite app on my phone right now.

This is not a free app. Deleted it. Waste of time. You can only track 3 habits for free. This is not a free app. Deleted it. Waste of time. You

Do not purchase. Over 2 years of non-existent customer support, the app slows down more with every update, reported glitches have never been fixed and have actually gotten worse

App developers are scammers. Bought the premium version of the app for the one time purchase option that was available at the time. They’ve now introduced a subscription model, removed most of the functionality that I had with my existing version (for example, can’t add more than 3 habits), and constantly keep trying to get me to sign up for their subscription model….all of this for what is a very basic app. How is this even legal?

I payed the 1 time fee. Why am I now forced to pay yearly?. I payed for the premium one time fee a few years back. Why am I now forced to pay 79$ a year for this…. Sad.

When will the sale bug be fixed?!😤. I’ve been patiently waiting for the sale bug to be fixed and it’s been MONTHS and nothing has happened! I’ve paid for the full membership and it’s still not working. I’ve emailed 5 times and no reply. This incessant ad is infuriating but even more infuriating is paying for an app that’s not working and having zero customer service response. I’ve been patient because I love this app but months with no response and no update is ridiculous. If the bug is fixed I’ll change to a 5 star review but idk what’s going on.

the billing service is a scam.. I have nothing to say about the application; it's great. But the billing service is a scam. I had subscribed to the promotion 7$ 1 year then price after but they changed me 54$. I disputed the bill but they told me they can't correct it and that it's a bug that happens sometimes. They offer me other services to calm me down without refunding my money. They are thieves.

Good. This app is very good the one thing I do not prefer is that you can only do 3 habits than having to pay if you want mors habits

Claim the offer I paid for. I need customer support to get access to the lifetime offer I paid for. I like the app. Aesthetically pleasing. Easy to use. Motivating. But I need help : I am stuck with the free features only. I paid and I want to get access to all features. I want to add an habit and I am limited. I would put 5 stars for the qualities of the app Down to 4 stars because of bugs (regularly need to restore purchase cause the app turn into free access mode) Down to 2 stars because I don’t have access to all the features I paid for Down to 1 star because the company is not responsive. Does not answer email nor Facebook messenger

Too big, too little, too expensive. 100mB for a tracking app that relies on basic steppers?! Then you want to try and ask for over 12$ to unlock more than 3 habits? Would not recommend, there are many better, free options, or even options under 3$ that are great and worth it.

Make one time payment. The latest updates has changed things. I do not like it. Also make it a ONE time payment. I’m not paying annually $75 ANNUALLY or even $12.99 that’s ridiculous I’ve already spent nearly $100 that should be enough forever, especially if you’re going to change things and it’s not doing what I need anymore. Your app was great, I would have given it 5 stars, but now you’re just being greedy like every other app out there.

Cant open the app. I downloaded and removed 3x the app, still cannot open it.

Really?. Would like to make more than 3 habits, subscribe to our growth bundle for $73 a year! Hahahaha what the actual fk is this

Concept great, execution lacking. I loved the concept but three major issues came up. 1) and arguably the biggest issue - the app would delete data without a reason. One day I would check and see the entire year’s worth of goals I had completed and then the next day half the entries were missing. I would add them, and then they would be deleted again. It defeats the entire purpose of the app as a habit tracker. 2) this is more of a me thing but it constantly showed that I had notifications and then the notification was just that there was a discount on buying the full app 3) while I understand the desire to get people to buy the full app the in app ad that was always popping up would strobe on and off in the app and made the app unusable at times. Honestly this seemed like a glitchy unusable app. I don’t recommend.

Updates ruined the app. Don’t even waste your time. The app used to be genuinely good until they recent updates and now it’s just buggy and has ruined its purpose entirely. The habits reset every week, mine resets every Monday but the app resets it on Sunday and it just messes up all my progress and streaks. It’s really frustrating trying to make it work. The only way I can *barely* manage it is by randomly clicking a task then deleting it right after because the bars go back to where they are supposed to be, but doesn’t stay that way when you leave the app. I updated my app again today and they didn’t even fix the bugs, just added a new trophy feature. This one problem has ruined my motivation to do any of my tasks because of how inaccurate my progress is shown on the app. Not to mention they changed the annual fee to 60 dollars, not worth it!

Lost my data :(. Pros: Simple to use. Let’s you track habits you want to build (Drink more water! Take vitamins!) and those you want to stop (No coffee today!). Love that you can do all that in one app. It takes some practice but is pretty easy to set up your habits. I happily used the app from January to May 2021. Then, yesterday (May 22), I discovered that it had lost some of my data. For example, I had a “no wine” streak of 109 days going and was very proud of my accomplishment. When I tried to add record another day I saw that all my no wine days had been deleted. Same thing with a few (but not all) of my other habits. So disappointing to lose that history. I would’ve recommended this to anyone and everyone before yesterday but now I really can’t recommend at all. Super frustrating.

download habit instead. I really loved the concept of this app! I forget to do so many things that are crucial to being a functioning human. One problem: the app wouldn’t open. I’d click it to go into it and it just wouldn’t work! I tried shutting my clearing my windows, shutting my phone down, and even just deleting and redownloading the app; nothing worked. I finally decided I’d just check out the critical reviews under this app and all of them seemed to be having my same problem. After my experience, I just went to see what other apps appeared when you looked up “done” and there was “habit!” Based on other reviews for people “done” worked for, “habit” already seems so much better. All the love and positive energy- hope bugs can be worked out!! :)

I’m done with Done. I’ve been using Done for years. I’ve loved the app. I bought it shortly after downloading the free version because I saw the value for me. But that was when they charged a one-time fee. Now they have switched to a subscription, which is fine. They can change their pricing model. But for over 30 consecutive days they have had a pop up in the app giving me a “limited time offer” to upgrade (essentially to get on their subscription model). But I already backed them in the beginning. The pop up ad causes the app to freeze. Every. Time. I’ve reached out to customer support and they haven’t fixed it. Their compensation was to offer to pay for 1 year of their subscription model. By doing so, I would give up my already paid for benefits and would be signed up to pay the next billing cycle. Is that the only way to fix this bug?! I feel betrayed for being an early backer.

Developers please fix this app!!. TLDR: I love this app, but I can’t currently recommend it with the insanely long lag-time. Really hope it gets fixed and they re-institute some of the old features. Currently testing with another habit tracking app because the lag time has gotten so bad. Such a bummer. Full: I’ve used this app for several years to track habits and I’ve loved it—but recently it’s become frustrating to use. It is laggy to the point where it takes several minutes to input my habits for the day. Only allows day and week habits (previously offered monthly & yearly habit tracking). Additionally the advert for subscribing is annoying—it’s constantly “counting down” to when the offer ends, but it just restarts the offer when the countdown runs out 🙄 DEVELOPERS: Number one priority is speeding up the responsiveness. It is incredibly slow!! - Return the swipe date feature! (It was swipe right at top to go to yesterday.) - Requesting being able to add monthly and yearly goals. - Current division of habits (by day, week, month) is not my favorite—too much empty space on the interface. I could see more of my habits in one glance with the old interface—I liked when they were all grouped together. Maybe make it an interface option to sort alphabetically or by frequency of habit.

New version makes a good thing better. Done has always appealed to me because it is both very simple and complete—with just enough of the right features to be very useful, but without extraneous features that add distracting complexity to the experience. The new version of this app has accomplished the remarkable with an updated interface that makes it even simpler and more intuitive, while also updating the settings screens to expose more of the app’s underlying power. As a long-time user, I’m really happy to see how the app’s new owners are choosing to evolve the product.

Beware. I love this app and can attest to the extremely helpful customer service as well. I paid for the upgrade, but when I got a new phone it wouldn’t give me an option to log-in to my account. I got really annoyed when I manually began to re-enter my habits and it asked me for the one time upgrade fee when I tried to put in more than three habits, HOWEVER, I emailed them and they responded within minutes and walked me through the easy steps to restore my purchase. They could not have been more helpful and quick with their response. I love the app even more now.

App not working. After a couple research recently, I thought I should give "Done" and chance but it has been a horrible experience. The app stopped working immediately I paid for premiums bundle.... I though getting the premium bundle will give me and opportunity to explore everything and I even choose what I thought is the best option or plan. The app constantly freezes and I am yet to set anything up. I sent and email to support address and haven't received any feedback as I normally want to explore all options before writing a review about a product as someone who is in the field. Hopefully I can get a response after this review. I see so many people are going through the same thing as me. I reatarte my phone several times thinking it might just be a glitch. This is crazy and hopefully someone can get to work on this for a better experience

Love this App. I love this app. I set weekly goals and this app helps me keep to it. It’s been 7 weeks now and I’m still going strong. I tried another app which was annoying and difficult to use but Done is easy and simple. I actually enjoy logging in an achievement (easy as opening the app and tapping once on your achievement) and it tracks your progress. From watering my plants to exercising to meditating to taking vitamins, I set the number of times I want to do the task each week and I’m ready to go. This app Done has really worked for me. I highly recommend.

PLEASE bring back the old widget. I used to love this app because it was so easy to use as a widget, but now it only displays 4 of my 7 habits and will not let me mark anything as done without opening the app. The smallest widget looks like you can click it to check off that you've done something, but it just goes into the app. I might not mind if it would quit giving me a popup every time it launches telling me that a premium offer "just for me" "expires" in 20 hours or 10 hours, etc. I appreciated the ease of use but now I've gone twice without opening it at all, for a month each time, because of the hassle. I've used this app for over a year and I don't know whether to figure out how to transfer all my data or just deal with how it's become. If anything I talked about changes, I'll edit my review, but I honestly can't give it more than one star as it is now compared to before.

Surprisingly Effective. Wonderful little app. Set a goal, create custom reminders, and viola! You are not going to forget to do what is truly important in the midst of all the busy, “urgent” crap that comes your way. As an example, I am not a big fan of drinking just plain water. But, I need to. I’ve set a goal of 6 glasses a day. Put 3 reminders in for everyday. In one week, I’ve done it 6 straight days. At least 12 times I’ve caught myself in the last 6 days with the reminders effectively changing my behavior to success. Kudos to the designers - programmers of this app. Brilliant! You are !

Horrible app and impossibly difficult to use. The app is horrible, and impossible to use because there are virtually zero instructions. When you first try and make a habit there is no indication of what parts are incomplete, it just refuses to let you save until you fill in all the required information. So after you struggle through the creation of the habit it then doesn’t even tell you how to log the habit. There are zero instructions whatsoever throughout the entire application, you just have to struggle and figure it out through trial and error which makes the user experience horrific. On the surface book likes looks like a very clear and easy to use minimalistic design however that is all a lie because the minimalism comes with zero instructions. Overall I do not recommend and suggest using one of the competing app switcher virtually the same but with my experience actually have instructions on how to use it for once

Repeated “lifetime” purchases. I love the app itself, but the app keeps making me purchase what is supposed to be a “lifetime” subscription. I’m really partial to the app and layout, and have blown money on worse. I figured the app has grown a lot since I first started using it, so what’s another $20? Most recently, I’ve purchased the lifetime subscription again, and the ad won’t go away. Every time I open the app, I get a fullscreen ad, then a persistent countdown timer at the bottom. For awhile, I couldn’t add new habits even though I had paid for unlimited habits. I’ve deleted and redownloaded the app. Ive restored my purchase. I’ve restarted my phone. I’ve emailed the developer for help. Now, I’ve reached out to apple for a refund. It’s a great app with one deniably intolerable glitch. Moving onto something else.

Update: formerly great, new owners, now avoid. The good: This app has allowed me to create and stick to habits and goals I never would have thought possible for me. Transformative impact on my life. The bad: the app - and all those in the growth bundle - have been taken over by a new owner developer and have gotten much worse. The original creator was a wonderful, passionate developer who built truly awesome, helpful products single handedly. I emailed with her a couple of times and she was awesome. Recently I noticed significant declines in performance across the app suite. I investigated and found that some new company “Reflectly” is now listed as the creator. These guys - don’t answer service requests (or when they do they are completely pro forma useless comments) - extort you on pricing - provide useless release notes - look at the version history and you can see when they took over It’s a terrible shame because these guys are gutting these wonderful products. It is completely antithetical to the spirit in which they were first created. I don’t know what happened but even if the original developer made a lot of money (I hope she did!) I still imagine her heart is breaking to see how these guys are trashing her creation. And my heart breaks for all us users who have lost some truly life changing tools. RIP.

Latest Update Still a Bit Buggy. This is my go to habit app however the latest update took away some nice features (customizing quantity etc) and could do better with consistency in terms of when the week starts. For instance, if you set your start of week to Tuesday the logs will constantly restart on Sunday and the initial app interface will insist that you haven't gotten your habit for the week done. Hopefully this will be fixed soon. And if it doesn't, I might have to switch back to pen and paper. It's quite annoying. Otherwise it's among the most intuitive and seamless apps I've used and pretty essential if you're trying to motivate yourself.

do better. I downloaded this app during covid to help keep me motivated to do my chores, and it was great. i could add as many habits as i wanted to, never had any issues with it. stopped using it after a while; but now that it’s a new year, i wanted to start using it again to help me be productive. tried to add a new habit and got the upgrade to premium page, and after trying multiple times to avoid that, said f it and paid the $20 to upgrade, thinking that would work and id be able to now add new habits again. instead, i paid $20 and am still stuck seeing the same upgrade to premium page, even though i just paid for premium. i used to love this app when i used it more, but this issue is making me want to find a different app to use.

Almost perfect!. Love this app! I tried out a lot of habit trackers and this one is by far my favorite. Very beautiful and simple design with a lot of useful features to organize all of my habit info! So far the only thing I would change would be to make the window larger for when you are taking notes. I like to take notes about my daily habits and right now the way it's set up, you can only view a small portion of the current sentence you're typing and if you need to go back to change something or reread part of the note it can be annoying/cumbersome since you can't see the entire note you are typing at once. Please update it so we can see the entire note and it'll be perfect!

Life Changing. I NEVER write reviews (sorry) but Done and also Tally from the same developers are life changers for me! I have tried nearly EVERY decent goal/habit app and Done is simple, beautiful and makes it fun! The other apps are technical looking, more complicated than necessary and not fun at all. With Done, I figured out what my goals and habits I want to make are and find that keeping track of them in Done is almost like a game to me. I use Tally more for my business to see what my yearly sales are adding up to, what monthly sales are adding up to and so forth - it’s super motivating! They’re both definitely worth the premium versions (unlimited goals and tallies)!! I didn’t get the bundle they offer because I don’t particularly like the note app (Do) - if it had the same beautiful interface as Done and Tally, I’d get it. The mood and gratitude apps (I think they are?) aren’t something I would use. My only request is to have the option of making the goals/habits in Done to be either the rectangle that it is currently or to have the option of a circle that starts to fill up - I think it may be visually more appealing. Otherwise, I LOVE THESE APPS!!

Already paid but they keep asking for more. I enjoyed using this app so much that I decided to pay for it (in the days when it was just a one time larger payment instead of a recurring one). Now, they charge people each month for the premium version. Despite the fact that I’m a premium member already, I have a take over screen asking if I want to pay for the premium version. I literally cannot open the app to see my “expiring” offer that only lasts for another few days (hint: the offer never actually expires). I’ve written to support asking them to remove me from the take over experience since it is so disruptive. At this point it is disappointing since I used to love using this app so much. Will report back if I find any other worthy competitors.

Works amazing. This app has been a game changer. It’s so simple but has been so effective at getting me to achieve goals and form habits. With other habit tracker apps I’ve used them for a couple of days and then they sit on my phone offloaded, but I started using this at the start of 2021 and I still use it. The only reason I’m giving this 4 stars instead of 5 is because it is constantly trying to make me get the premium version. Even when the timer for the discount runs out, it just starts back up again. I’m a broke college student. I’m not getting the premium. I’m just fine with the free version thank you.

Really like but recent glitches and expensive. I have used Done for a few years and it has been very helpful. But for the past nine months or more, advertising pops up every time I open the app, which is extremely annoying. I decided to pay the amount of the deal, but whenever I clicked on deal, it showed that I would need to pay full price which is very expensive. That was annoying. A couple days ago, it stopped showing the check mark when I complete a task. I uninstalled and reinstalled, and the problem persists. Though I appreciate the app overall, if the checkmark doesn’t come back I won’t be using this app. And the advertising might result in me using another app too.

Hoping this will get a response. I’ll start by saying i really enjoy this app. Definitely not perfect, but it does what i was hoping it would do! *HOWEVER* i decided the Black Friday deal was too good to pass us, so i purchased premium. A few minutes later I tried to add a new habit and it was taken to the “upgrade” page again. I assumed the purchase didn’t complete and tried again to upgrade. I got a pop up saying i already purchased premium and welcomed me to the upgrade. I checked my credit card, and sure enough i was charged for the upgrade (just once). But i still could not use premium features. I emailed the customer support on Saturday and have still not heard back. This morning i also sent and instagram dm hoping to get some clarity, but it’s been radio silent there as well. I’m happy to change my rating if someone will PLEASE just get back to me. I do like this app and would like to be able to use it, but this is crazy

I don’t know?. So one time I was on TickTock and I saw this app called done and I searched it up and it was really really cool and I was really really excited but when I downloaded the app it didn’t work so I deleted it and tried again and it still didn’t work I gave it to stars because I thought it was really cool on TickTock and looks awesome now super excited because I have a lot of anxiety lately and of course this app doesn’t even work and I got mad about it so please let me know if you having this problem too because I know I am I don’t know if it’s my phone or something or do I need to do it photos will be the storage I am not sure if you know how to make this problem better please let me know thank you so much for reading this have a good day!

was 5 stars for past few years until most recent update. I have been using Done religiously for several years now and it’s been 5 stars all the way...until they recently did something that now does not allow me to see all my goals in one view. I followed all the FAQs to troubleshoot which didn’t work and eventually sent in a support request a few days ago and never received a reply. I have been a “premium” member for all this time so it would be nice to at minimum get an automated reply that said thanks and we’re reviewing- but I didn’t even get that. I do understand their move to the subscription model but I think that should be applied to new users, not people who already bought the app with the understanding that our purchase price was for the entire thing as a one and done deal. Hope they fix these issues soon - I want to remain a fan.

Eh.. I saw this app on another app called, TIKTOK. I decided to check this out because this could really help me get more of my goals done. When I opened the app, it asked me if I wanted premium. Of course, I said no. I loved everything about this app! It was pretty, and easy to use! But, when I tried to add another goal, (I already have three goals set), it wouldn’t let me and just bring me to premium buy. I think the app won’t let me set more goals for myself because I won’t buy premium. I just don’t have the money and I think it’s very unfair towards a large amount of people. Whether you can’t afford it or you just don’t wanna spend the money, I feel like it’s just unfair. Even though I love the app, it needs to be more diverse.

Don’t underestimate how helpful this simple app is!. I downloaded this app because I hd previously tried to keep a hard copy goal journal and I found I just wasn’t making time to make goals, let alone track them. This app lets you track goals and habits and see how consistent you are (or aren’t!). I have had the app only two weeks and I learned so much about myself. I look forward to adding on to my totals at the end of each day to see the color fill in on each goal. It makes you aware of just how conscious you have to be to set and pursue a goal. I loved it and already upgraded to track more habits. Great app and highly recommended!

Used to be good. I have had this app since 2018, maybe before that even. I liked it because it was simple, clean, and easy to use. I loved that I could back up my information to dropbox. With the latest version, circa 2021, I am having nothing but headaches. My goals won’t back up from my older dropbox files, which is annoying, but it isn’t the end of the world. My bigger issue, is that—even after upgrading to the paid version—there is an advertisement to upgrade to the paid app at the top of my main screen above my goals. (I tried the bundle package, with multiple apps from this developer, and subscribing to DONE, alone.) The advertisement create a visual clutter and reduces the amount of screen space for the goals that I am using the app to track. There is no visible way to turn off the stupid ad.

This app doesn’t work, unless put in the work. This app doesn’t work... unless you DECIDE you want it to work for you. Habits don’t create themselves, but this app can assist you in reminding you to do the things you want to do in your life. Don’t expect an app to change your life. This app has helped me keep track of the habits I want to build up in my life. Highly recommend this app for serious people only. I downloaded it before and didn’t do anything with it, it wasn’t the apps fault, it was my fault. Now 18 months later, I’ve hit enough roadblocks in my life to see that habits are the way to avoid future pitfalls. I like how easy it is to set up, and how simple it is to log habits.

Only one request. I absolutely love this app. It’s the only habit tracker I’ve returned to because of its simplicity and great up design. When trying to keep up with new habits, anything, over complicating it never works/sticks. I love this app for that reason alone. The ONLY reason I haven’t given it 5 stars (I’d give it a 4.5 if I could) is the lack of apple health integration where other competitor apps offer it. It’s convenient to be able to track things like water intake, steps, workouts, etc.) all in one app with the ability to import all of that data seamlessly. Otherwise, I highly recommend this app to anyone looking to start incorporating new habits into their daily life in a way that doesn’t feel overwhelming!

No response from support. I’m disappointed with how this app has evolved over the years. It used to be very nice which is why I purchased the premium upgrade back in 2017. However, now the app constantly asks me to upgrade to the premium yearly subscription version and says I only have the Basic plan. It also states it cannot find my purchase to restore even though I can see my purchase through the App Store on Apple. I have contacted the Done app support multiple times with no response. Now the app runs so slow I cannot update my habit tracking, it will not allow me to export my data since the app freezes, and I cannot add new habits because it is forcing me to upgrade to the premium version again. All this has caused me to resort to finding another tracking app which is super unfortunate after 5+ years of using this one.

I love this app!. This app is everything I want in a habit-tracking app: simple and configurable. The layout for actually tracking is so easy to use. Exporting and backing up data to computer-friendly files is there. You can decide whether you’re trying to build or cut back on a habit. You can even customize what you want your reminders to say! I love customizing the language of the pop-up reminders because I know what will work best for me. When I finally reached a feature that prompted me to upgrade (also love that they don’t prompt you to update every 3 clicks), I clicked upgrade immediately. Thank you to the Done team for a great all!

GET THIS APP!!. As a Clarity Coach and peak effectiveness teacher, my business is helping people double down on the things that matter most. So many apps and tech make that process harder rather than easier, with horrid UI, and an equally horrid look (to the app). This app is the star that rises well above the crowd! It’s a simple, easy to use and customize tool, with a gorgeous, clean interface. Categories and trend lines are easily created. Take your life and career to the next level, get this app! And no, I don’t know the developers from Adam, but I will be featuring this app (along with others) in a free productivity class I offer, it’s that good.

Bad Update. I loved this app. I even paid the money for premium access. I really don’t like the latest update. I can no longer swipe easily between days, which I did all the time when I forgot to log my bedtime habits in the evening. I also can no longer see the number of days in a row I have done one of my habits. I tried to contact their support and the link doesn’t work. It opens my email app and an incomplete empty email screen on which I cannot type or back up or see an email address. I use this to track my medications and self-care habits that are difficult for me. I would really like the features that were so helpful for me to be returned or I will have to find a new app.

Streak number removed in latest update. I have been using Done to keep track of what day I am on for my pills, I have a 30 day cycle. This morning I noticed that the usual count of how many days in a row is missing and replaced with “1/1” for taking it today. I need to use the streak to be able to call in my doctor to get a new prescription or make sure my pharmacy will have my refills in time. If this doesn’t change, unfortunately I will have to switch to another app. I have been using it this app for years. I really like the notifications this app has, I set it to before I wake up and I see it every day until I check off I took my medicine. There was a weird premium pop up every single day that was constantly saying the premium was 83% off! Or sometimes it changed to different numbers. I use 2 tasks in this app so it’s been a bit annoying for me. So hopefully this comment will push a new update patch soon, otherwise I will have to say goodbye, which I would prefer not to do.

Not Optimized for iPad. I really like this app. I downloaded a handful of habit tracker apps at the same time to test them all out at the same time. This one had more features and customization, was easier to customize, was more pleasurable to use and the data is nice to have. I kept coming back to this one. Out of process of elimination, this app was left the winner. So why the 4 stars? Well, I do a lot on my iPad. It’s my journal, logger, notes, designer tool, editing tool. When I downloaded this app on it, I am really disappointed to see that this app is not optimized for iPad. This is a requirement nowadays. Like websites need to be responsive to fit all formats, so do apps. PLEASE FIX, and I will gladly give 5 stars.

What I was looking for. Pros Good for building and quitting habits Makes user input data daily Reminders Customizable Tracks data Free version shows enough to get a feel for the app User friendly Cons Has to be used daily ( which isn't really a con) Calender visuals for all habits would be helpful too I needed a habit tracker to hold myself accountable for building good habits and minimizing bad habits. The app gives lots of options like reminders and notifications. It doesn't allow me to go back and add data if I forgot to input it that day but that just aids in accountability. After trying out the features I upgraded to the paid version and it was well worth it. Gives more access and options. You can have more than three habits with the paid version, as well as set multiple reminders. There are charts to track activity. It shows week month and yearly data in a chart and calendar. The calendar visuals only shows one habit at a time. It would be nice to have a calendar visual on the main page where the charts are that allows users to see progress customized in a calendar. I really like this app.

Be Forewarned — Endless Upsells 🙄. It would be so nice to just be able to use the app without having to wait 15 minutes or so for an upsell to be dismissed. I am repeatedly offered this huge package of apps which I have zero interest in. And there’s no way to stop these ups sells. I used to use this app all the time, but I stopped using it daily because of this. Why isn’t there a way to make clear that I am never going to buy the full package and pay you an annual fee? Ridiculous. Updated Sept 2023: I came back to this app today to try to use it again, and the same thing happened. They never listen to complaints about Upsell’s because they just want your money. I am happy to say I found a different have an app, which is so calming and beautiful! There is a premium option if I want it, but it’s not popping up and blocking the screen. Goodbye DONE — delete. ✅

there would be more then 3 for free. so hear me out, i think the app is great i love the option to change the colors of thing and all that extra stuff they added BUT the only think i hate that almost ruins the whole app for me is the fact that you cant not get more than 3 habit thing on there for free. you have to pay to get any more than that. which i think is stupid. i mean i understand they have to get money somehow but come on! ur only gonna leave us with three?! personally if u really want to get the app then go ahead but i think you should get a different habit app because there are tons more apps that have way more options for free.

Has become excruciatingly slow. The app has become frustratingly slow!! The response time is unbearable. The customer service non existent!! I have contacted them several times regarding this issue and it is as if it goes to a black hole!! Years ago I purchased the full version and it was great, then several years later they took away the full version despite having paid for it and now I have to put up with a restrictive version and ads after already paying for it! Now they want $20 for a lifetime subscription. First, the app is destroyed, frustratingly slow- you tap and it takes a long time to register the tap or scroll; second zero customer service; third I have no reason to believe that paying again will be the end because once before they took away the full version after paying for it and want more money!!!

Frustrating updates. I’ve been using done for 3+ years now. It was a great app. Years ago I bought a lifetime upgrade to premium, because I loved this app so much. Recently they updated it and a lot of the changes make it harder to use. Most notably though they removed premium access for anyone who had bought lifetime. Without informing us. I am now promoted to purchase a $60 a year membership to do what I already paid to do. I contacted support, assuming this had been an honest mistake, but I received an inadequate and minimising response full of emojis. They told me that they needed to charge more for profit - and then offered me a free trial of premium???? - ok I understand the need to get an income, but I have bought a lifetime as an early user. This should be honoured. I will never pay a subscription for this app. I will be deleting it since I cannot trust the developers to honour my purchases. I used to recommend this app to all my friends - now I will not. I do not think this move will increase their profits like they hope it will. I am disappointed and have filed complaints with both apple and the consumer complaints line. Even if they honour my purchase I will not use this app again.

Won’t Even Open. I downloaded this after seeing this on tik tok. (Downloaded it twice actually) First time, I couldn’t get the app to open. I would press on it and it would immediately take me back to my home screen. But all the reviews looked positive so I thought that it was maybe my phone glitching. So I waited a few days and then decided to download it again today. Same thing. I get on tik tok and find out that EVERY SINGLE PERSON that has commented also can’t get the app to open. Those who can however, say that you can only track THREE habits at a time before you have to pay an obscene amount of money to add more. It also looks EXACTLY the same (and I mean cut and paste the same) as another app that’s completely free on here and actually works. In hindsight though, it’s my own fault for thinking something on Tik Tok would be worth looking in to.

No support from developer. After purchasing the lifetime subscription, the app failed to reflect the purchase even after lengthy troubleshooting. Reinstalling the app did not help, however it did succeed in deleting all my data and goals for at least the last year despite having utilized their iCloud backup feature. I emailed the developer using the address provided directly in the app and they did not even dignify me with a response. A few days later I refunded the purchase through Apple and I will no longer be using this app. For an app that's so simple in concept, it's remarkable how much they have complicated the process of its use. There are lots of competing apps, or even pen and paper, that achieve the same thing. I would recommend others to stay away from this one.

Bad new update. Ive been using this app for over a year now and it has helped in so many ways. This week there was an update and it completely ruined the whole experience. I had little messages/motivators on each of my tasks and those are gone along with my streaks. and if i want to log something for yesterday i cant swipe today anymore to get there. Also this happened a while back and didnt really bother me this much but i set my days to reset at 4am and there was an update that got rid of that so anything i logged after midnight i always had to go back to “yesterday” to log it. what was the point of having all these customization options for how our goals look if you’re just going to take them away?

Simplicity is best. I was previously using a very snazzy app called “Productive” which, after the third time completely glitching / failing to open / updating into a UX hellscape, I decided to delete. I was getting seriously demotivated by being unable to track the very habits I was trying to build due to their poor design! That’s where Done comes in. I’ve NEVER had a problem with the functionality of this app. It literally just does it’s job and works. It’s simple, no frills or fluff, and has kept me on track for months. I have it color customized to be a rainbow, it’s easy to do everything I need it to. I love this app so much - yes I paid for premium - it was inexpensive and well worth it.

Really Great! No subscription, worth the $$, one suggestion.. I tried several apps to help me develop better habits and regiment, and this was the best. The colors and sounds are a nice effect (though there are two reddish colors that are almost exactly the same... :P Haha) Most calendar, productivity, to-do, or habit apps require a subscription after the trial. This app does not, which is a huge selling point. While I get the subscription business model, for those of us who don’t have money to spare but still need help being more productive, a one-time charge is preferable. And it’s not just about the money. With a subscription I’m continually paying for my ability to be productive, I’m getting “hooked on a drug” then being repeatedly charged for its use. A one-time charge is a lot less exploitative, and doesn’t come with the same guilt (which we don’t need when fixing our habits). *** My one caveat. Could the reminders have the same timing options as the habits themselves? I have a habit that I only do on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. But I can’t set a reminder for those days. The closest thing is weekdays.

Shady practices. I purchased this app in April 2020, paying what was at the time their premium yearly subscription of $9.99. It appears they raised the yearly cost of this app to double this amount. I would never pay this amount, but it’s really their right to charge what they want, albeit they are probably going to lose subscribers. What I’m upset about is they have put a perpetual banner at the top of my app that I can’t delete or hide...prompting me to upgrade to the new pricing structure. I still have 5 months of my original premium subscription and I don’t wish to upgrade now as there is no added benefit. It would be great to reach out and provide this feedback and ask for assistance, but guess what, there is no contact information on their website. Not surprising with these practices. Find another productivity app, there are a million out there.

Would be nice if we could see all “todo’s” in one screen. Organizing the home screen’s checklist to be in Grid Mode would allow for more items seen on one screen and further motivate us to accomplish all tasks. Could add a toggle to switch between Grid and List mode. Additionally, it would be nice if we could sort by “Daily > Weekly > Monthly > Yearly” and “Last”. Currently using custom for the first part but I would like the accomplished Daily’s to go to the bottom of the Daily grouping. Could alternatively make Folder groups for each time category then unfold all tasks within to be checked off. Thanks for what you’ve made so far, I hope to see these improvements in the future!

There are so many better apps out there for this. The UI design on this app kinda sucks…it’s really a pain to undo something when you hit it by accident and they only let you have 3 habits on the free version. Setting up a habit to quit instead of build is hard to track and it shows the goal as complete if you go over the amount you wanted, which is against the point for quitting behaviors. Y’all, if you want people to pay (a lot of) money for an app that they could find somewhere else for free, you need to be better than the other apps. This does not cut it. Also seriously, why does premium cost so much? You’d think the app was made of gold or something. Not even remotely worth it. Rated two stars because I think it has potential, but not enough potential for me to keep the app.

Habit Tracking Made Simple - Not. The App offers Apple Health Integration, but doesn’t pull the data correctly. The sleep data comes through wrong every time, and the step count has started coming through incorrect. I find myself having to correct those figures, but then they just revert to the incorrect data when I close and reopen the app. To get the correct information to display I had to remove Apple Health Integration completely and enter everything manually day-by-day — which is a waste of time for information I can already see in another App. Additionally, while I have Hydration in the Apple Health App, there is no option to automatically transfer that information over (not that I expect it would work anyway). I’m only on the trial, but I don’t plan to renew. Paper and pencil would be better than this app in many ways.
