So close…. I bought this app, and the Mac app, earlier today. BusyCal requires an app specific password to be set up on each device to access iOS calendars. Kind of annoying since none of my other calendar apps do that, but not a huge deal. But in order to access my work calendar on exchange, which I’m already logged into on my device, I need to log in again through BusyCal. My company limits the number of devices that can be logged in on exchange at the same time so logging in with BusyCal kicks me off my work email account. I’m disappointed because other than that BusyCal seems to have a lot of really nice features, but if I can’t see my work appointments alongside my personal ones then I’ll have to keep looking for another calendar app.

Great alternative to Mac Calendar!. BusyCal was accepted by my company’s InfoSec IT as a viable alternative calendar on macOS. I decided to actually remove iOS calendar and standardize on BusyCal on my iPhone and iPad. It is MUCH better than native calendar and runs circles around outlook. The only thing I wish they’d address is enabling the icon to show todays date. I leave it running on my MBP because it shows today’s date while running but in iOS, even when running, it doesn’t show todays date. Hopefully it’s in the roadmap.

Fix drag and drop. It’s annoying the drag and drop is so difficult/impossible to use after recent updates. I can only get an item to drag after 5-10 tries and then no other items will drag unless I restart the app or wait for all the planets to align. When I try to drag an item, an edit menu pops up. If I want to edit an item, I would just tap on it - the menu is redundant and in the way. Also duplicating an item use to be easy with long tap, but now I have to click the item, click a menu, click duplicate and the back out of the new item and back out of the old item. Fux sake. I’m not really sure what long tap is supposed to do anymore cause the controls are all retarded. Please fix. Otherwise it’s a wonderful app that I use all day/every day and have used for many many years. Thanks!

The best calendar app, hands down. I’ve been using Busycal as my main calendaring app for years now. The default Apple calendar is frustrating to use and this app is such an improvement. Like most self employed people, my calendar is my most important tool at making a living and I use this app more than just about any other. There are still features I discover that I didn’t realize was built in. Happy surprises that make it even better. Once Apple allowed removing the calendar app, it was gone and this has been my default on every device I own. iPhones, iPads, and Macs. Give it a week, I guarantee you will not look back.

Inadequate but useful. BusyCal on the Mac is great. I use it nearly every day. However, BusyCal for iOS is woefully underpowered. While it's a useful way to see all of my to-dos at once, or to get an overview of my calendar, the lack of secondary sorting for to-dos (by priority, then creation date, for instance), and the inexcusable lack of BusyCal for Mac's premier feature, filters—where you can show any combination of categories you like instantly—drastically reduce its usefulness. The filters don't have to sync with the Mac; I may want different ones on the road anyway. But this is a crucial feature that has been bafflingly absent from this app for years. If this comes as a paid upgrade or an IAP, fine. But without it, this app is not really more useful than the stock Calendar app, and only somewhat more useful than Reminders.

Integrates calendar and to-do’s. BusyCal wins over other calendars for many reasons. First, the iPad / iPhone / Mac coordination is perfect. Second, there are relatively few calendars that integrate the calendar and “to-do” functions. BusyCal does a great job of combining the two. Also: I used to think the graphics were just fun. I’ve now learned to use them so that, at a fast glance, I can see what’s coming up in the next couple of weeks. Also: I’ve had occasional hiccups and user support has been fast and first-rate. Zero complaints. I’m a very satisfied user.

My favorite calendar app. I’ve tried most of the major calendar apps for Mac and iOS. I keep coming back to BusyCal. It has extensive customizability, and all the features that I need. Fantastical is good, but BusyCal is every bit as good (if not better) for my needs and includes most, if not all, of the extras that Fantastical only includes if you pay the subscription fee, which is a bit on the expensive side. Seamless integration with BusyContacts is also a significant plus.

Efficient, clean, reliable but still missing doorstop teachers. Great program on the desktop but on the I have some complaints.. On the Desktop, In the month view, one can choose to show the beginning, ending, or beginning and ending time for an appointment. On the iPad Pro none of these are available in Month view and require switching to Week view. I run a very busy schedule and find having to flip back-and-forth quite inconvenient and there seems to be enough real estate on the screen to display at the same time. Please reconsider adding that to the iOS interfaces well

Far superior to basic cal and worth the price. As someone with ADD who is learning to actively manage his time, the standard Apple calendar was a hinderance. It was an effort to go in and reschedule missed items so I would just ignore them and they would fall off my radar. The little features in this calendar make it EASY to quickly move time blocks around… -Love that I can drag/drop calendar entries (across times and dates) -Love that it connects to all my shared Apple calendars (just needs 3rd party password) -Love that it’s calendar + ToDo tasks in one place -Love that tasks show up on calendar -Love that there’s undated, dated, and dated+timed tasks -Love that I can select times using a few different methods (dragging, selector wheel, etc) -Love all the settings and tweaking I can do -Love that it’s NOT a subscription!! (Although I would likely pay a small amount $1/mo? to keep the maintenance going) So much more.

Good but no personal O36 Support. I like the interface of BusyCal a lot. I think as a calendaring product, it’s definitely one of the nicest. My issue comes with the fact that I can’t add my personal O365 calendars. They show up fine under the iOS calendar app, but they don’t import into BusyCal, nor can they be manually added. This is really perplexing since it supposedly supports O365 and Exchange... I really wish this would get fixed so that my family calendars would show up. With that change it would be nearly perfect in my mind. Update: support contacted me and explained to use “Exchange” for the personal option (not self-explanatory imo), and this worked perfectly. Back to 5-stars even though I think maybe they could add another option for Personal/Family O365...

The strongest link. My spouse has Parkinson’s. It is imperative that all meetings, outings & every other occurrences on both of our iPhones, iPads & MacBooks sync perfectly. We have been using the ‘Busy’ software since the beginning. Not only is the software stable, the people who run it are always there for support in a calm and friendly manner even when the answer is not what I had hoped for. Though it can be accessed by & from the three hardware devices I find it best to choose one MacBook as central station using the others for reference & to make quick changes on the fly. The other use for the non-central devices, especially the iPhones, is to take notes on an appointment when developing it, then take the time to fully describe it when at home. The full description is important especially when you consider that when ever you think you will remember what a short-hand will mean later… you won’t.

Upgraded Reminders and Subtasks. I was so very excited for this app as it seemed to be perfect for what I needed! Calendar with Drive Time - check. Integrated reminders/tasks - maybe not. It took me a bit to figure out that I could not sync my reminders because they were “upgraded” with the iOS 13 update. A bit surprised as this wasn’t an issue in other calendar apps I tested. No big deal, right? I will just recreate them. Buuttt....you can’t create a task with subtasks. This here is pivotal in my organization. Otherwise my 30 individual tasks become cluttered in appearance and mentally overwhelming and then nothing gets done. Overall very disappointed, especially with the $4.99 price tag and no free “try-it” option. Nonetheless, I intent to keep it and look forward to improvements. Bare minimum he ability to create subtasks.

A couple dumb things…. 1. When switching from your local time zone to floating time, the hours change back to GMT. If I put in a time and then switch to floating, it should keep the hours and minutes i I’m out originally 2. The “Location” field won’t accept a telephone number or any other type of contact detail other than a physical address. Other than that, it works pretty well and having Floating time - even if awkward - make the app worth having as I travel a lot and my appointments would constantly get messed up.

Keep developing!!. I like this app but it could be so much more... -FEATURE: Choosing and filtering calendars should be quick and easy to do. This could be fixed by making calendars a MAIN BUTTON on the Home Screen of the App that pulls up the calendars. Also, the user should be able to RE-ORDER calendars with an easy drag and drop. They should also be able to GROUP the calendars like on the desktop version. I see this as a no-brainer but a game changer. -FEATURE: Adding an event by voice should be a one-tap, MAIN BUTTON on the Home Screen of the App. -USER EXPERIENCE / DESIGN: they need to hire a good user interface designer to make the app more intuitive and look nicer. It’s pretty powerful but looks dated. (Move the list/day/week/month/to do bar to the top and put an ACTIONS BAR at the bottom -> calendars/ add event/ Filter/ settings). Look at some other nice looking and powerful apps to get inspiration (ie -> Eventbrite organizer app, Lowe’s app, etc) Other features to consider -meeting coordination (look at woven calendar... this app is shutting down but it’s too bad bc this feature is incredible), inbox button, Do not disturb, and so much more Please continue to develop... calendar apps could be so much more than what I’ve seen out there. If you want to reach out to me I would be happy to talk with you. Thank you!

Great Start BUT. I love this app, but its main weakness lies in its dependence on an exterior app. While you can create to do’s in app and rearrange in there, I find it easier to use the reminders app and have it automatically inputted. The problem is that both BusyCal and Reminders are clunky in reordering or prioritizing to do’s. I see that the developers are working on more 3rd party compatibility and I really hope that they will partner with Sorted. Sorted streamlines the organizational aspect of to do’s in a far superior way to either BusyCal or Reminders, but BusyCal arranges those to do’s in a visual way that is far superior, and most importantly, harder to ignore way. These two apps should join forces and become the power couple to power productivity.

No reminders support. Only supports all day reminders, no times. There is an option for times but it doesn't work at all. I was hoping there would be time zone support because people were saying that this is one of the only apps that supports different time zones, but it appears that the limited reminders support BusyCal does have relies on the Apple Reminders app but even with that you can't set times and Reminders only supports a single time zone (whichever one your phone is set to when you create it). So, reminders don't work for people who travel at all, which I would guess is a stupid Apple limitation (or just poor UX design on their part). I was hoping BusyCal could help me stay on top of my medical reminders but that doesn't appear to be possible if you travel as I have tried literally dozens of apps and NONE have time zone support.

Very good calendar app. I really like this app. I primarily use the list view and the month view. I like that the list view includes reminders - very good feature. But I wish you could set it not show the days that do not have any events. I like the flexibility in the month view to show more or less weeks, but I would also like the option of scrolling a full month at a time with a single swipe, instead of the continuous scrolling. If it had these two features it would be 5-star all the way, But even as it is, it is an excellent calendar app.

Good but needs work. I was using Fantastical for years, but their prices finally forced me to look for an alternative. BusyCal seemed like the best alternative. The macOS app is solid and works exactly the way I need it to work. However, the same can’t be said for the iOS and iPadOS apps. The iOS app has issues with the widgets to the point where they’re currently unusable. (I sent the logs, so hopefully, they get fixed.) Also (and this drives me nuts), you have to keep the iOS and iPadOS apps open in the background for the date badge to update to the correct date. That was not the case with Fantastical. Maybe I’m missing a setting, but I don’t think I am. Also, as others have said, the UI could use a little modernization on all platforms. I’ll keep using it for the time being, but please iron out the bugs.

Good app, nice compliment to MacOS version.. My wife and I use this app on our iPhone 6S Plus for last 2 years and love it. It is a very nice compliment to Desktop version for MacOS. To me it was worth the price of admission, developers are always working on it adding new features and are very responsive if you report an error. If you have suggestions they are also very attentive to listen. Although you can’t expect them to add everything people ask for. All in all a good app and I would say give it a try, especially if you have the desktop version.

The best on 2 fronts. For me, Busycal is the best solution for two different reasons. First, I like the available views as they are consistent with how I view my own schedule. I realize that that is highly subjective and won’t be the same for everyone, but it is absolutely the best for me. Additionally, there are enough options to customize the look and feel of the application without there being so many options that you were swimming in a sea of choices and cannot find what you were looking for. Second, I have my own Nextcloud server and I do not use iCloud services. Busycal allows me to define my Nextcloud CalDAV connection directly within the application. This means that I don’t have to create an account in Apple calendars or reminders. It also means that the updates between devices is either instantaneous or near instantaneous. This in-app support of CalDAV was a huge deal for me.

A little quirky but thoughtful & useful. Things I love: - easy to duplicate and manipulate events - the way to-dos (Reminders) integrate with the calendar itself (didn’t Apple Calendar formerly work like that?). This is incredibly useful to me because I need to see a spatially organized view of my day or week (not a uniform list) but I also like to have my to-dos in the same app, visually distinct but right there. Hard to explain but no other calendar app seems to be able to do this. - how customizable the various views and defaults are - the Mac app, though expensive, is quite nice too Things that could be improved: - on iPhone especially, and especially in portrait position, the vertical list of times along the left side takes up too much space - odd that I have to use app-specific passwords to sync my calendars with this app, whereas other 3rd-party calendar apps are fine just asking me for permission to access them. But it’s ok because I haven’t found any other 3rd-party calendar app that I’d care to use. A bug I noticed: -sometimes when you long press to drag an event, you get an error saying it can’t be dragged; some nonsense like “scroll to the start of the event and long press again.” Huh? Tapping somewhere else and then trying again seems to make it work.

Very good! But a couple things I'd like to see. For the most part I really like this app. I like the month view, and the way that tapping a day expands all the events in it feels a lot better than other calendar apps I've used. There's a couple things keeping this from being 5 stars for me. I don't know if there's a better place to leave feature requests, so dropping them here and crossing my fingers, haha. (1) I wish typing "all day" when creating an event would be parsed and change the event to be all day. (2) I also wish typing something like "tomorrow-Thurs" would make the event all day on both days (or at least give me the option!). (3) Duplicating an event should pop up a calendar to choose when I want to copy it to; it currently just copies to the same day and then it's extra taps to go in and move it. (4) I also wish the Event List and Up Next widgets would show more than just the current day -- ideally the widgets would show as much info as they could fit!

BEST iOS Calendar. This has been my default calendar for the past year+. After Fantastical and others, and although a bit similar, BusyCal’s support is far and above the competition. Face it, in every application we run into issues. You have a question sometimes? Customer Support will usually get back with you rather quickly. Plus this is a great calendar; easy to use and everything on offer is delivered!

Very disappointed. I have been using BusyCal for Mac for years and I am a satisfied customer. I recently purchased BusyCal for iOS to see if it could replace Fantastical. So far it works well on my iPad but it is a bust on my iPhone running the latest iOS 11. On the iPhone it cannot add events. Half the time when I press + to add an event, nothing happens. When the new event screen does open, I enter the event info and when I press Done, nothing happens. The app just stalls. Also, you can't open an event to look at. You can select an existing event (obviously creatd in another calendar app) until the cows come home and the app just sits there and does nothing. I have restarted the phone to no avail. Something is seriously wrong here and needs to be fixed. Update Jan 3, 2020. Had been working wel for a while but now BusyCal on iOS and Mac is choking on my exchange calendar. It absolutely refuses to update. So again it is unusable for me. The built-in calendar app is limited but at least it works.

Very good start. After using BusyCal on the Mac for many years, I was glad to see it come to iOS. This is my favorite calendar & todo app on both Mac & iOS. Good: well thought-out layout, with easy access to each view & customization of Day-Week-Month views. Better todo-calendar integration than competitors. Week view scrolls by day (not full weeks) & Month view scrolls by week (not full months) - very helpful near end of the week/month. Needs improvement: While viewing an event, must click Edit before editing some fields, rather than just clicking on the field. Day/Week views should allow creating events by touching & holding at a specific time. Can't drag events to new days in Month view (only in Week view). ToDo view should allow easy selection of which calendar(s) to view, not just how to sort todos on the screen. Fixed: font size setting for Week view (3.04). Replaced date slider with calendar picker (3.1). Create events with touch & hold in month view (3.33).

Probably THE Best Calendar! But Facelift Please.. I have nothing but accolades for BusyCal. I use it on iOS and Mac where I especially love the integration with BusyContacts — a superb application in its own right. My only disappointment with BusyCal — not a criticism, just a disappointment — is that visually BusyCal looks quite old & tired. I’ve been drawn back to Fantastical several times because it’s just so much more attractive. But Fantastical is not as good as BusyCal so I drop it and come back again. Functionality ultimately wins, but form is important too. I’d urge the developers to give the UI a MAJOR aesthetic overhaul and then no can beat you!

Not exactly like their Mac App. While their Mac app is fantastic, I wish the iOS app had me as excited. I have a lot of events that span multiple days and the ios app does NOT move these events to the all day section at the top. Instead they monopolize my entire day making it difficult to read. I wish they acted more closely together to make using more seamless. One other thing…. You have to subscribe to their Mac app monthly and then to use their iOS app you have to buy it. Seems a little bit like an overreach. Apps also don’t exactly sync without you having to manually setup. Work can be done here to make these apps seamless.

Great replacement calendar app!. I don’t like the way the current stock calendar app shows information in month view (it used to do better but at some point was redesigned to be more minimalist). So I replaced it with a 3rd party calendar app that was great for several years until that company switched to an overpriced subscription model that also required you to set up an account with them. That sent me looking for yet another replacement...which eventually led me to BusyCal. This app is great! Easy to use, shows plenty of information on the screen in any given view, and does not require any special logins or subscriptions! Just what I wanted! One thing I’d suggest...get better at App Store optimization. I found this app by reading calendar app reviews on some other websites. This app does not appear if I just search the store for “calendar” (or if it does, it’s so far down in the list as to be useless).

Latest version keeps crashing. Update again: Developer said try latest v4.0.3 and I updated the app. I created a test event and typed “Test will it crash” and as soon as I typed the last “h”…the app crashed. I will email them, as requested. ———- Update: I just downgraded it to one star because I can’t leave the app open for 10 seconds without it crashing. Just tried to enter a new event, and before I could save it, the app crashed. Tried to edit an event earlier, and before I could save the edits, it just closed. This app right now is literally unusable, except to quickly look at the schedule before the app closes itself. ——— The latest version keeps crashing. If I create a new event, a few seconds later, the app will just close. I just tried to duplicate an event, and when I tried to edit the duplicated event, the app closed. If I just open the app to view events and scroll a few days, it will crash. if I edit an event, it will crash. If I try to create a new event on a future date, the app will crash. Please fix this.

Great app for iOS and MacOS!. After using Fantastical 2 for years on my MacBook Pro, I switched to BusyCal. What’s the reason, they moved to a subscription model. I feel betrayed by that company. Additionally, I’ve used WeekCal on my iPhone for 7 years. It had also gone to a subscription model. I did some searching for months and BusyCal has won me over. BusyCal does everything you need it to including reminders built into both platforms. If BusyCal keeps the same business model, I’ll use it indefinitely. If they decide to go to a subscription model, I’ll uninstall on both my Mac and iPhone and go to the stock Apple calendar apps. I’m happy so far and would recommend to anyone.

Great calendar, needs small upgrades. This calendar excels at: - iOS and google calendar integration, events are always synced - iOS reminders integration, being able to pick specific lists to show and others to hide is something that sets this app apart from others - the ability to choose how many weeks are displayed - the clear difference between all day and times events - a beautiful and clear monthly calendar A few upgrades that I’d like to request: - the ability to add tasks from the calendar view to lists that are hidden, but without causing that list to unhide... it’s nice to work from one screen without settings being effected - improved event repetition, several other apps have already adopted options that are more intricate and introduced them in a more user-friendly format, ie: repeat on these specific days every week, or this specific day of the month (I’m thinking about Readdle’s Calendars 5, which is the one thing they really exec at)

The Best iOS Calendar — User Since 2013. I’ve tried the likes of Fantastical and other calendar apps but none can provide the same features as BusyCal. I like having to see clear and concise information at a glance and BusyCal is the only one that can do that. Just with the month view I can see glyphs of the weather, all calendar events, and the ability to adjust the amount of information just by pinching and zooming. While the layout doesn’t appear as fancy as other apps, this one seems to be designed with function over form. I highly recommend using this!

Very Slow Development, Behind the Competition. 😡 Cons: - No today widget. - No Apple Watch app. - No Siri Shortcuts. - Can’t add a new calendar from within BusyCal have to back to native iOS calendar app, even after BusyCal’s integration with our iCloud account is suppose to be deeper and more substantial after needing an Apple ID App specific password to even add your iCloud account. - Can’t tap and hold on the screen to add an event have to tap the plus sign. - Can’t tap and hold on an event for duration sliders to appear so I can change the time, like native iOS Calendar, I have to go into menus. - Unnecessary separate menus, multiple taps and tabs for changing the date and time. Just copy the Native iOS Calendar app. This is annoying. - Drag and drop is slow and stutters. - Have to subscribe to us holiday calendar manually using a link from their website on all three devices iPhone, iPad and Mac even though you add your iCloud account which has a us calendar subscription. Pros: - Reminders integration (I don’t use this is use OmniFocus) - Time to leave notifications - Vertical week view displaying three days without needing to turn the iPhone into landscape. - Expandable day tabs in month view. Conclusion... This company has been around for a decade plus, I think it is inexcusable to be this far behind. A today widget has been requested for years. I want to be able to handle everything via BusyCal. I’m very Disappointed. 😪☹️😟

Please let us sync color coding 🙏. It's impressive what you have built with such a small team! Really like this app The dealbreaker for me is that color of events on Mac don't sync with color of events in iOS. I color red events that I can't move (appointments) and yellow for stuff that better get done that week (Deep work, exercise) and green for free time and stuff that I might do (movies, video games, etc). I don't really want to make individual calendars for each color, I see it as adding unnecessary complexity and more points of failure to my system. I need to trust my calendar every time I see it and unfortunately I can't trust Busycal in iOS without color coding. So I am staying with Fantastical. Still, BusyCal is a great app and I wish I could use it. Fantastical already does it (single calendar, individual colors for events across all devices) and works great. I think you'd get more Fantastical customers to move over to BusyCal by adding this feature. Please prioritize this feature 🙏 Thank You

Limited display options limit usefulness. Highly disappointed at the lack of display options. Other calendar apps I’ve tested allow you to toggle between week view and day view by double tapping the day....BusyCal can’t do that. It’s also awkward to add new events, it doesn’t add where you tap and hold. And finally if you have a week long event, rather then it showing at the top as an “all day event” it wastes space by showing the bar for every day, filling the entire screen. At this point I lost my mind at how stupid this was and deleted the app and went to apple to request a refund. I ended up going with “Calendar 366” which meets my needs much better.

Wish for more. I really like it’s format and integration of tasks and calendar. I like it’s flexibility to work with multiple different types of accounts. I wish it would work with the latest iOS reminders better. I was really disappointed when the first iOS upgrade of reminders broke part of how I was using busycal. If it weren’t for that I would give it five stars for iOS and 4.5 stars for the desktop version. If it had the ability to show tasks on the date originally scheduled, but all overdue tasks in the task list bar on the right, and option two complete tasks on yesterday instead of today or the date originally scheduled, I could give the desktop five stars. I wish it had all of the features of goodtask, or synchronized with reminders in a way that would not undo the awesome BusyCal regenerate feature when also synchronizing with goodtask. I wish my chronify Integration could synchronize to a task list instead of a calendar.

Had to come back. I took a year or so hiatus from using BusyCal. I switched to Calendars by Readdle. Now that’s it been awhile, I forgot why I even left though. Maybe it was because BusyCal’s iOS app didn’t allow for drag and drop at the time? However, now the new macOS version of Calendars doesn’t even allow for drag and drop, which is crazy for a Mac app. Anyway, I tried to endure for a little while, but eventually had to come back to BusyCal because drag and drop is so important on a Mac app. I was pleasantly surprised to learn they implemented it for the iOS app as well. Shouldn’t have left in the first place. Glad to be coming back to it.

Needs a Dark Mode. The brightness is killing me. Needs a ‘Dark Mode’ display to make it more visually relaxing (better contrast) for viewing. See good comments about the desktop version, but I as trainer supporting corporate users I work mainly through iOS because it is with me all the time. The desktop is no longer the source for data. Data is now mobile (everybody now a days has a phone!!) BusyCalc really needs re-prioritize and move their focus to match this new mobile reality. The interface needs to reflect less clunky Microsoft approach to menus and more Apple iOS swipe approach to. For example, why do I need to click on Edit to change the Sync time? Why not just press my finger on the item to access and select the different options?? The configuration of the app is comprehensive, but the interface needs to be updated.

Fantastic App, but needs an Apple Watch App. So I have used Fantastical for a very long time and among the many out there, I have been disenfranchised by their massive annual cost increase. So I was looking for a new app. I noticed that SetApp had Busy call in their offerings so I took a look at the app on the Mac. AND I LOVE IT! The user interface in my opinion is so much more beautiful than Fantastical and I love that on the Mac App, the menu bar actually tells you how much time before your next appointment. The only thing I DON’T like is the absence of an Apple Watch app, when almost every app in the App Store has this feature. Hopefully the company is working on this. In the meantime I am using Apple’s default calendar app on my Apple Watch, which is okay, but it’s antiquated compared to Fantastical’s watch app in my opinion. It would be great to know if you’re working on one, but I will still be using your calendar if you don’t.

Wow, great app!. First of all I really liked the app right off the bat from the description and pictures but all the bad reviews made me skeptical. Second, I am not coming from using the Mac version, I started fresh on the iOS first. I am picky on which apps I use and while I liked fantastical and calendars by readdle for functionality, I didn’t like the overlay or look of either. Having used BusyCal I think it has more functionality than the other leading calendar apps, and I haven’t had any issues in terms of stability. This Calendar is powerful and works very well, is highly customizable, and I love the look as well. My favorite part is the to-do integration and how it allows you to filter and sort your to-do’s: a lot of options here! I hope this app gets more positive feedback as I believe it deserves it. Keep up the good work devs!

Nearly amazing. I would love to love this app. I definitely love the Mac version. And this iOS one is good. Honestly I don't want to use any other calendar apps because it's so good for so many different kinds of accounts. The only downfall is it's size. I don't mean the app size, I mean the text size. But you can scale the font on the day/week settings you say. Yes, you can. But the agenda works best for me so I'm stuck. But you can scale app sizing in iOS you say. You certainly can. Doesn't work for some apps through, this one included. The Mac one has scalable text size so I'm sure the coding is already written and wouldn't be that difficult to put in here. You do that and you'll not only have a person who will never use any other calendar, I'll tell everyone I can how wonderful this is! Please? Pretty please? 👍

Pretty Good. I’ve been using this app for almost two years and have found it to be mostly good. I chose it specifically so I could have more control over the colors of tasks. This is very helpful at a glance. I do prefer how they look for an all day task, I wish they were all like that and there was another way to differentiate which were all day. For some reason the to do tasks are not color coded on my phone, only computer. Overall I find it intuitive. My biggest issue and what I would really really like is if the icon had the date like the iPhone calendar does. I find myself flipping to check that icon, and I’d rather just be able to have busy cal icon do it.

A Couple of Missing Features. I’ve recently migrated away from another calendar app that is currently experiencing a large exodus of customers. As much as I really like BusyCal (I also just purchased the Mac version, after trialing it for a couple of hours.), I reluctantly had to uninstall it from my iPhone because there are two missing features that are essential to me: the ability to search my entire calendar (not just the past 10 years) and custom alerts. I often need to set an alarm two to four weeks prior to an event, and BusyCal only allows up to 2 days prior. Hoping these features will eventually get added. In the meantime, I’ve had to come up with a “Plan B” for my phone.

Amazing app!. I have been using busycal for a few years now. It has been my organizer for work, personal life, and now my doctorate! It has everything that is needed to manage busy schedules! Most recently, I had challenges integrating an app where the issue was with the other app—busycal customer support was phenomenal in helping me resolve it. I am impressed with their customer support and highly recommend this app!

Great app! Couple fixes could help tho. As someone who loves to organize this is the best app on the market (I’ve tried so many). A couple minor issues I wish were fixed; however: 1) on the mobile app on the ‘day’ view, if you drag an event either up or down by holding on the right most part of the event, it automatically moves through the other days (right) when I just want it to be moved up or down. Please fix! 2) on the mobile app, it would be really nice to be able to write in an events ‘note’ section without pressing the ‘edit’ button. I believe you can adjust the dates without the edit button but being able to access the notes without it too would be great. This isn’t a fix per say but would be really nice to have!! Thank you.

Prefer iOS ver to iPadOS. I won’t take much time explaining why BusyCal on the iPhone is best, but I won’t even touch the built-in calendar there anymore. However, on the iPad, I find it very frustrating to add new appointments, change appointments, and so on. Honestly, I don’t see why this doesn’t function the same as Apple’s Calendar app. I can’t double tap or long press to create a new appointment on a day. So, even though I want to create an appointment on, say, Saturday, I have to tap on the + in the upper right corner and start from square one, always defaulting to an all day event, which means there are many more steps to creating an event that in the Apple Calendar app. Changing appointments requires more steps. I want to be able to simply drag something around on the calendar, but instead I have to edit the appointment and go the Time tab. It’s so unnecessarily clunky, particularly in this day and age. Going back to the stock app. Buyer’s remorse.

Good app, great support. This and the Mac versions of BusyCal and Busycontacts are 2 of the best apps I have and that I use all day every day. I have used BusyCal (and BusyContacts) on the Mac for some time. Nothing on the iPhone worked have as well, so this iPhone app is wonderful to have. I finally use the calendar on my phone--and its syncrhony (in all senses) with the Mac is a relief. Here, though, I want to emphasize the *immediate,* *competent,* and complete nature of the tech. support this company provides on all their products. Looking forward to BusyContacts on the iPhone!

I incorrectly assumed it had widget support. I bought the Mac application - wonderful replacement for OS X calendar, Fantastical, and even Things. Without even researching I bought the iOS version. It didn’t even occur to me that at this point in time (in 3rd party development and Apple’s iOS maturity) that a widget would not be available. And I’m not mad - I’m just disappointed. So now I use 2 calendar apps - BusyCal to work with, and iOS calendar for the widget.

Best Calendar App. This is simply, the best Calendar App, available for iOS. It’s clean and nice to look at, syncs flawlessly, with other Calendar’s and is very easy to use. It also offers sync capabilities with iOS Reminders, which is a must for a Calendar App, in my book. You can quickly add an event or to-do with all the information you need and clearly see the month you’re in, from any screen. If you are looking for a replacement Calendar for your iOS device, look no further, because BusyCal is a winner.

Capable, attractive, adaptable and powerful. I’ve found this to be an excellent choice for managing my calendars and todo’s. It offers many ways to manage these and is customizable. It has been an excellent replacement for my recently deleted app that changed to a subscription model. So glad I made the move on all my devices. I can’t also say enough positive comments about the excellent support. Outstanding and prompt and able to resolve issues quickly. I have only have two requests I hope will be added soon to make it perfect. First, it needs a companion Apple Watch app. For me this is essential as I often use my watch in place of my phone. On the watch app I hope a month view is included as well. The second is I would like to see a view on the phone that is similar to the view of the menu bar applet used on the Mac. This offers a small monthly calendar with a list of events or todo’s under it. This is a quick and efficient way to scroll through your day or ahead. A long press on a date would allow you to enter a new event.

iPhone X support please!. Nicest by far but please add iPhone X support.

Electronic Diary tools are awful in the 21st Century. I'm constantly astounded how it is possible for such ineptitude in programming to live for what is essentially a very simple application - running a diary for your life. I wish Palm had survived because this - and BusyCal is amongst the better of them - is just too complex and too bloated and too slow to make keeping a diary fun. This is probably the 20th application I have tried, and every time I go back to my Palm. Why won't anybody write something that was as good - and FAST - as Palm Desktop and mobile diaries? SMH.

Good but. It would be good if you could make the week view with the days running DOWN the screen instead of ACROSS the screen. Then we wouldn’t need to zoom in and out, or to change to landscape view.

100% recommend for people balancing multiple jobs. This app is ridiculous. It’s been brilliant for balancing a variety of jobs and the colour coding and ability to just see one job at a time if I want makes it A++. Even carrying incomplete tasks over to the next day is a small detail that makes this so powerful.

Great calendar app. I really like this app, nice design, easy to use. The reason I am not making it my go to calendar is the vertical scrolling of month view on iphone. It’s too easy to scroll past the month needed. Also, if there was an iPhone version of busycontacts it would make the high cost of these apps worth it.

Behind functionally…. Update to initial review: The developers have obviously been hard at work over the last few months, as the updates that have come through are really useful. Some real thought is going into making workflows easier without just copying functionality from the built-in iOS apps (long press of the today icon to bring up a date selector is brilliant, as is the long press to bring up an event type selector and drag for time period). Great work guys - keep it coming! Initial review: I started to write this review over a year ago - that BusyCal for iOS feels quite antiquated in terms of functionality and when compared with other modern calendar apps’ interfaces. Over a year later and no update to bring the app at the very least in line with other apps regarding features and functionality. It is slipping further behind. I adore the desktop app and am frustrated with the iOS version in comparison. Can we at least have the ability to create an event by long pressing a time in the calendar? Keyboard shortcuts for navigating / functionality / switching views? Long pressing the Home Screen icon to quickly add an event / task? Command T to go to Today for heaven’s sake!

Badge Icon Doesn't Show. Ive used BusyCal on my MacBook for years and synced it with the ToDo app by BusyCal until recently. The ToDo app seems to have been removed and replaced with BusyCal app. It's a decent calendar/to do app but the badge icon doesn't show at all. I've tried changing settings on the app and on the iPhone itself with no luck.

Still no support for attachments!. A solid companion to the Mac OS BusyCal, which I’ve used for years. But why, why, why doesn’t this iOS version support the attachments I routinely add from the desktop version? Apple’s built in Calendar app does! And, still hard-wired to USA date formats, instead of respecting the user’s location preferences. No support for iPhone X.

Great app but doesn't play nice with 3rd party keyboards. I really like using this app for my to dos and calendar. It's great but it doesn't play nice with 3rd party keyboards. I prefer to use swiftkey and gboard but they don't work in your app. The text correction part. So I have to switch to the standard apple keyboard every time I use this app. Would be nice to fix this soon.

Such a shame, I am leaving. Great interface. This app became my default calendar. Easy to use, visually appealing, informative and functional. But now I have to leave it because Apple requires two step authentication and an app specific password. Two step authentication doesn't work properly for me, so great apps like this suffer the consequences.

Thank you for fixing the bug. Update: 5 stars. The developer was very responsive and fixed the bug. Just a suggestion: is there a way to hide the “number of days overdue” on the Todo’s page? So that it looks less cluttered and each Todo row takes up less space.

Great. Best calendar app by far just a pity no Apple Watch app

Things to do. I have used BusyCal for iOS since 2009 and the desktop versions for a similar time. It’s great except for a few niggles with iOS version. Always when creating new events on iOS it gets the day of the event incorrectly. It’s always a day out in-spite of me clicking on the day directly . It’s a day before. More annoying is all options for a repeat except fortnightly. It’s available on the desktop version and is not a custom repeat which the iOS version doesn’t do. My rating is commensurate with this missing feature.

Great, but room to improve. Hands down, this is the best calendar app! So powerful and intellectual. BUT... I have a couple of suggestions: 1) Being able to alter the alarm time on a to-do in iOS from 9am same day to something else would be good (I currently can only do this via OsX) 2) An iOS widget would be a great step

Top marks…almost. This is a very good organiser for me. But there remains one gaping hole in their concept: There is no security barrier option available to protect at launch. A password/TouchID option would be a very welcome addition to what is an otherwise fine product.

Needs an update. This is a great calendar program, but the developers need to look at one crucial thing - to be able to create an appointment by placing your Apple Pencil / finger at a spot in the calendar where you want to create a new appointment rather than having to create it via the ‘+’ icon ... This may seem like a small thing - but it does impact on quickly being able to create an appointment for people while visually being able to hold the rest of the day / week’s appointments in your visual field. I would give this a five star rating if this were possible.

Needs a widget. Good app, but in 2022 it’s not forgiveable to not support widgets!

Full-featured, but buggy with poor support. I’ve been using BusyCal for years on iOS across multiple devices. I’ve encountered major bugs, have informed the developers, and have twice had initial responses basically saying “not our problem” - one blaming Google, another blaming Apple - followed by complete radio silence. I’m currently using the app under duress, but will find another. The app is also slow and has an “old school” UI. Initially it was the only app that supported most/all GCal fields. Now iOS calendar has caught up (e.g. Busy and Private toggles) I’ll give it a go again.

Avoid avoid avoid!. Terrible. Not user friendly. Wants to sync in with other apps or emails. Don’t use if you just want a user friendly app to manually enter info. If your super tech savvy maybe this will work for you, but if you’re more after a basic calendar function try anything else!

Complete with lies to get sales. This Statement is a complete LIE It's a Con & does NOT have All the Same Features QUOTE BusyCal for iOS — And for the first time ever, BusyCal is now available for iOS with the same features as BusyCal for Mac, including customizable views, integrated to dos, travel time, live weather feeds, and more.QUOTE As far as dragging attaching or linking Events etc IMPOSSIBLE IN BUSYCAL ON IPad Pro Even the developer says so quoted below Sorry for your experience, but there are some things that aren't in BusyCal for iOS that are in the Mac version. You should get a refund if you are not happy:

Not as good as Mac version. I bought Busycal 3 for the Mac and found it really good especially its many preferences to customize to your own liking. The IOS version whilst good doesn't have as many customisations as you would like. It is glaringly missing a preference to change the font size in the different screens. In week view the font size is very large for my iPad Air 2 and I can't make it smaller and therefore more useful. In month view the font is small and perfect for that view. This app needs more work to enable font size changes. In Week view the calendar always starts on the current day despite choosing Monday as the first day of the week. On the mac version weekview starts on the Monday. There is no year view in the IOS version! All in all a good app but with some needed improvements to make it a proper companion to the Mac version.

Love it. I had busycal 2 on the Mac but then removed it when Apple updated Calendar. Gave the new Busycal 3 on the Mac a trial yesterday and soon after bought it. Absolutely love showing my tasks of the calendar and being able to drag and drop them in the calendar. Always wanted this in a calander/task app. Decided to buy the new iOS app as there is no trial. So far so good. I've moved calendar and reminders from my iOS dock and replaced with busycal. Again, love being able to drag tasks around in my calendar. Just seems far more productive and intuitive to slot tasks into the calendar while still keeping the calendar sacred for appointments. Syncing across iCloud and Exchange has been flawless so far, let's hope that stays.

Weather. Overall, I have enjoyed using BusyCal and it has been the default calendar app on my iPhone for a couple of years. Recently I have noticed that it seems to be giving the weather data for some other city even though the app has access to my location data whilst in use. Is there any way to find out or change which city’s weather is being used in the app? Thanks.

Refund please!!. I t doesn’t even show days of the week in the week view!!!! Just the numbers!!

Lacking features. Just purchased this and I am utterly disappointed with the lack of features. It feels very dated compared to its Mac counterpart. For iPhone and iPad, there’s really no reason to spend money on this. Fantastical, Calendars by Readdle or the native Apple calendar will do a much better job.

It is what I've been looking for!. I absolutely love this app. Tried fantastical but BusyCal has won me over. You are able to see an overview of your week or month and drop down to see the finer details. It's so easy to use

Best Calendar App. The best calendar app I have used. Does everything ai need, synced seamlessly between 2 phones, an iPad, snd an iMac. Brilliant!

No support for iPhone X. BusyCal, more than other calendar apps, lets me feel like I can see at a glance, what’s coming up in the next days and weeks. I really like month view and how tapping on a date expands it to see details - while still staying in month view. It’s clever. It has a ‘big desk calendar’ feel - even on a small screen. Nothing is hidden or out of sight - which gives me confidence that I am not missing something. (especially great if you have a very irregular schedule). Entering dates has become easier recently in BusyCal, too - though I still prefer entering events in another calendar app (which I use just for that purpose). But when I want to see what’s on for a particular date nothing beats month view in BusyCal. I also really like how graphics pasted into BusyCal on Mac show up in BusyCal on iOS - and they are not just a limited selection of clip art - you can put any graphics in. When I’m consulting at a company on a date, for example, I put their company logo on the date as a ‘sticker’ which makes it easy to see an important event at a glance when scrolling through the calendar.

A very good calendar. This is a very versatile and useful calendar. I use it across iPhone, iPad, MacBook and iMac and it sync's without a problem. It makes multiple calendars and has customisable tags and has useful smart filters that enable you to focus in on any aspect of your day/week/month/year. It also has excellent Timezone support enabling you to select any Timezone as well as display 2 time zones simultaneously. The iPad and iPhone BusyCal versions lack flexibility in the custom repeat options for a new appointment and this is a noticeable limitation in an otherwise excellent app. Hopefully, this will soon be rectified.

Exactly what I needed!!. I needed an iOS calendar app that: 1) can sync with Exchange, Google calendar and iCloud 2) that doesn't use iOS calendar setting to sync to these services 3) gives me a monthly view And I couldn't believe there's finally one!! The look department can definitely be improved and I had difficulty getting the right setting to sync with the Exchange, but since it's just been released I believe it'll only get better from now.

What a calendar app should be. I have been an avid user of the OSX app for sometime, and bought this version on release. I used it consistently though I didn't find it a tremendous departure from the native ios app. Then, with the most recent update, it has flourished into its own game-changing field. I cannot begin to describe my joy on choosing a date in the 'add' field, only to find a calendar appear to pick from, not a scrolling wheel of numbers and months. Finally, I don't need to could upwards from today to work out what next Wednesday's date is. I love this calendar!

Excellent App. Excellent Calendar app as is the desktop one. Needs a setting so that when you move an appointment to a calendar that isn't in view (isn't enabled to be shown) - you can set this action not to auto enable it. I have a 'Done' calendar for keeping appointment history without cluttering up past days with things that have taken place and don't require further action

A little wonky. I experience a lot of crashes with my older Macbook Pro, and a lot of those are from either BusyCal or BusyContacts. With BusyCal, the Mac slows to almost comatose and notifications keep popping up. Syncing has been an ongoing issue as it’s inconsistent. I get a lot of both duplicate entries AND duplicate Contacts which don’t merge properly or even update each other. So, features needed: - ability to enter tentative dates and a better method of tracking missed meetings. - tie into details for business to track mileage and expenses and allocate them properly - with seeing others’ shared calendars, an ability to “screen” those (i.e. I don’t need to see my spouse’s chiro appt) - in busycontacts, fix the duplicates issue by merging them and only showing one for each person

Still the best. I can tell you I have literally tried every single calendar app, and this is the absolute best (and no I do not work for the company😂) The ability to have you native todos in the calendar is probably the best point but I also love the way the monthly calendar views the jobs opposed to just having lines. This app is incredibly well thought out and only getting better. I honestly for the life of me cannot figure out how it is not featured more in the App Store or one of the main ones you hear about.

Buggy and unreliable. Doesn't offer same alarms as standard iOS. Hasn't correctly synced with iCloud calendar in a couple days (nothing changed). Doesn't predictably sync. Don't recommend

There's no Today widget. A bit of a big miss there.

Beyond Dissapointed. I have busycal on my computer I pay a ridiculous amount of money for it. Tried to get it for my iPad and made me pay again I did but I CANT sync my calendar from my computer to my iPad. I wasted my money on an app that I already pay for and it won’t even work for what I need. I want my money back for the iPad purchase. I would give zero stars if I could.

Do not buy if you need active sync.. You have to create your exchange account directly from within the app. The problem: it is not compatible with active sync. So if you need active sync it will not work.

Love it!. I absolutely love this app that has (almost) everything to keep me organized. The only missing features for me would be subtasks (or the option to add notes that can be checked off) and also a widget displaying only my tasks.

So good to have everything integrated. I've been using BusyCal and busy contacts on my Mac for quite a while and like them very much. I've just started using BusyCal for my iPhone and it is so amazing to have all my to do's in Reminders sent with invisible in my calendar. Great job, please keep making it better!

Version. Should have language choice like French

Best Calendar App for iOS & Mac. Like this to iOS Cal 2.0 — has all the functions / views / customizable settings the native calendar app is missing. Wish List: • To-Do Widget (for quick viewing / checking off items) • Ability to hide weekends in vertical month view • Touch-hold and move events • Edit mode opens automatically when you click an event • Slide to delete events in calendar mode

Great app as is their MacOS app. This is a great iOS calendar app, it is like using their (fantastic) MacOS app on a mobile device. Continuing the dedication to customization and simplification. Cheers

AGENDA VIEW AGENDA VIEW AGENDA VIEW. THE WEEK VIEW IS UNUSABLE - ADD AN AGENDA VIEW

Excellent. Works very well, and I really like having most of the excellent Mac version’s functionality and flexibility in iOS so I can avoid the (pointlessly divided) Apple equivalents on both platforms. And the brand new Widget choices are great!

Great but…. Very impressed with functionality and simplicity but…. would like to see connectivity with Apple Watch and MS Outlook. When trying to connect with Office 365 app crashes when it goes out for authorization hence 4 stars only.

Finally!. BusyCal and BusyContacts are essential in running my business (I use them as a CRM). I was hopeful that BusyCal for iOS would be closely aligned with how I use BusyCal for the Mac and am delighted that it is. For example, I love the way that my day's schedule pops out as an enlarged window within the week view, including to do's associated with clients, and many of the invaluable granularity elements that I need (and that I cannot easily create within Fantastical) are now at my fingertips. I really liked some of the features of Fantastical but it never quite met my needs. I'm dropping Fantastical in favour of BusyCal for iOS. I am ever hopeful that eventually BusyContacts for iOS will see the light of day soon.

Excellent. Great app, as others have said, a widget would be perfect!

Great app with one issue on Apple Watch. The app is great and has tremendously improved through all its updates. I was so happy to see it come to the Apple Watch. The app and its complications are really well made. Unfortunately, I discovered that the app on Apple Watch is in English only while I have all my devices setup to use French. I will gladly add the missing star when this is all fixed.

C’est fantastica….. Et beaucoup de personalisation

Stops syncing with google calendar after free trial ends. Initially the app uses fine. I liked the idea of managing calendar events and tasks in the same app. A few days after the free trial ends (and I paid for a year’s subscription), BusyCal stops syncing with my google calendar saying “no space left”, which doesn’t make sense, considering my computer has 300+ GB free space.

Top notch calendar app with a few missing features. BusyCal for iOS is one of the best calendar apps out there for handling locations and time travel. The app is quick to suggest locations based on what's typed and offers travel times from the current location or preview event's address. This is an essential feature for a busy traveller that many other calendar apps are missing, and one that keeps me coming back to BusyCal. There are a few missing features that would really bring it up to speed with it's competition and set it apart as a power user's calendar. They are: - Apple Watch companion app - Keyboard Shortcuts - iOS 10 Widget I'm keeping my fingers crossed for these features in future releases.

Keeps getting better.. Update Dec 2020 This calendar app is really very good. Amazing that it is FREE and works on iOS and the Mac! (Not sure about the watch, don’t have one of them anymore). It doesn’t have the natural language like Fantastical, and the syncing between devices is a bit sluggish, but this is nit picking. Continue to recommend. Update Feb 2017. Still my default app, use it all the time. Quite happy with it. A minor issue is that I have location services allowed "always". As I type in an address, it seems to find US locations until I add more info. Not ideal but not a deal breaker. This could be because I live in Canada but I don't think it should be an issue. I'm still waiting for Apple Watch support.

DOES NOT WORK WITH APPLE REMINDERS. When Apple reminders updates their app, they removed the CalDAV communication with it. And busycal works on calDAV. So your reminders will NOT show up at all. I downloaded the app, realized this, tried to get a refund but Apple refused. Contacted busycal and they have not responded. Thumbs down.

Wonderful App but why…. Wonderful app but it seems the competitors have been able to access work Exchange accounts without admin approval. Why not BusyCal ? My work Exchange events appear in BusyCal but the events are overwritten with a « busy » title. This is not the case with the other app: Fant….

Please add support for shared calendars. I have BusyCal installed on my Mac and thought they would be able to synchronize. Since that is not the case, I was hoping for support for shared calendar, a must have for many offices. But alas, I have spent 7 dollars in something basically useless at this point...

Great app. Natural Language input can use some work. Love the lightweightness and the UI. Tho the input can use some work when entering in Natural Language.

Great calendar replacement. Really like this app. I was previously using Pocket Informant, but they switched to a subscription service so I looked for another calendar app. BusyCal is great. It has great weekly and monthly views so I can get a glance at my whole schedule. I like the moon phases and weather being on the monthly view. Has all the functionality of Pocket Informant for a fraction of the cost!

Keeps getting better. April 2021: Still waiting for iOS 14 time selector to be activated. No need for the spinning discs of silliness to still be the only way to enter time in something other than 15 minute block with the app's sliding window. As one of only a few calendar apps that properly integrates todos/tasks, BusyCal is bringing their incredible app from the desktop to the mobile. Great work! A fifth star will be awarded if they release a keypad date/time selector to replace Apple's frustrating spinning wheels.

Badges broken?. I’m just wondering how the tasks badges got broken since latest two updates… used to only show badges for the incompleted tasks but now no matter if they are complete or not it shows only the number of tasks total, not just the remaining tasks. If I choose “remaining items” it also shows incorrect badge number … I used to like only seeing what I had left to do throughout the day, now it is confusing. Hopefully this will get fixed soon. Otherwise I really do love the app!

Le meilleure pour Mac. J’ai travaillé avec vraiment plusieurs agenda proposé sur AppStore et après plusieurs années je peux vous dire qu’il est le meilleur. J’aimerais juste qu’il soit en français.

Stops syncing after a couple days & can’t find how to get support. I’m using this with O365. It works for a couple days then stops syncing (or anyway, never syncs. It says it is syncing). This is disastrous for me because I depend on my calendar to be up to date. My current workaround is to use the iOS built in calendar, which also sucks but at least seems to keep up to date. I’d like to troubleshoot but there seems to be no way to contact support and none of the FAQs seem to address my problem (or if they do, I don’t understand it). I love the MacOS version. But I can’t recommend iOS version for people stuck with O365.

RECOMMANDE ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️. J’utilise cette agenda pour gérer mes horaires d’entreprise et honnêtement la seule modification que je suggère au développeur est d’avoir un plus gros choix de GPS Super simple a utiliser et configurer vers son serveur NAS -Seb Canada Quebec

Was working great.....?. Crashes everytime 1 second after opening since 6pm today

crashes on open in ios12 fixed in testflight. crashes on open in ios12 fixed in testflight

Couldn’t sync with iOS calendar. Stupid

Larger fonts now!!. THANK YOU from all of us who wear readers!!!!!!

Time for a change. I have been using this program for YEARS and whenever I’ve needed help, I got it. HOWEVER, I’ve requested help for awhile now as it no longer shares with someone else -who has paid for it- but nobody responds. I just can’t trust it any longer 😤

No Apple watch support. 3 stars because you are not supporting or letting us know that you are working on it. I need my cal on my watch. I like hands free. Otherwise I would be happy to give you 4 even 5. Otherwise it is a good app. bugs and all. Very customizable. Great options for time zone but not easily understandable. Needs to be simplified. I am not sure if the calendar timezone support is better than event timezone support but it seems they don’t play well together. If you chose calendar timezone support then event support should go grey and vice versa. Great icon library for all events. Flights are also highly customizable but difficult to manage in timezone support. It gets confusing if you have a heavy week of travels covering several time zones. Much better than iCal and flexible enough to synchronize accurately with iCal cloud and giving you so many more options. I am not sure if it can stand alone or not. I need mine to synchronize because it is a work calendar but for a personal calendar, I think it would struggle adding events coming in from outside sources through emails ans SMS i.e. flights, hotels reservations, event tickets, car rental reservations, restaurants reservations etc.

BusyCal preferred on Mac but iOS doesn’t offer tasks. Mac version offers both calendar and tasks (todos) for google but the iOS app can only handle google calendars. It doesn’t offer direct connection to google tasks. I would have preferred using that that relying on the iOS sync plus it enables better separate those lists personal vs work.

Will not sync. Despite the developer’s support and help from workplace IT, this app would not sync to my Exchange accounts. Other calendar apps sync immediately, so it’s difficult to understand why this developer makes it so hard. I have deleted the app and said goodbye to seven bucks.

Best iOS calendar app. This app is the best! Smart design Reliable Everything you can ask for

Great App. Great app. Just wish there was more support for Apple Watch. Not all reminders 100 percent hit my Apple Watch. But that is the only complaint. Every thing else is very very good. Thanks guys.

Disappointed looking for help. I downloaded this app on my Mac and paid a bunch to get it. I really enjoyed it on my Mac but wanted all my events and lists on my iPhone as well. I had to repurchase the app on my iPhone, which I did, then went through a hassle to synchronize my iPhone to my Mac through iCloud. Disappointed to say that through all the work and money my calendars still won’t sync

OK app, extremely poor customer service. I have used BusyMac apps for years. The apps are overpriced, but OK for someone who needs certain features missing in mac's default calendar. The customer service is very disappointing though. The attitude is since we are not a subscription service, it is ok for us to drop behind others and we will eventually catch up. This is the other side of the argument made by subscription services: since you are not paying subscriptions, don't expect us to provide best service.

Not worth the effort. The app is finicky at best and requires reinstallation to reinstate some features after updating. With the app specific password requirement it becomes almost impossible to get the app to work properly. Lost data and poor performance is constant. Go to another app if you want reliability.

Love the app. I have been using this app for a year or two now and I love it. Super customizable and easy to use. The only thing missing now are widget options!!! Widgets please!!!!!

The Gold Standard (IMHO). I've tried so many other calendar apps, both on iOS and on the Mac, and I've never found any other app that ticks so many boxes for me. I remember these guys from when they were Now Contact and Up-To-Date and they have continued to excel with BusyCal (iOS and Mac) and BusyContacts (on the Mac). A great combination of features, flexibility and ease of use. Keep up the good work guys!

Love it but.... This is a great app. Finally an app that sends email confirmations for meetings to invitees 😎! But it is crashing upon opening in iOS 12.3.1. I think the app updated automatically on my iPhone 8 Plus last night and now I can’t use it. Help!!

Apple Reminders no more working. no more works with last Apple Reminders upgrade

Great app. Would love a “next 7 days” set of widgets. App has a next 3 days widget. Would love a next 7 days widget

Tags Sync?. Purchased the app for its ability to sync tags/categories. Don’t see tags nor do I see tag colors applied. Also, where is the “contact support” link?

UI Improved But Note Optimized. It is encouraging to see a rollout of UI updates. However, the glaring issue with the platform's UI is that the Calendar event titles don't fit into the event box. I can not read most of my calendar events. Apple Calendar doesn’t have this issue; I can see the entire event title. This is the reason I can not commit to BusyCal. I hope this can be prioritized in your next update.

I have too many accounts for Fantastical, BusyCal is the solution. I’m a BusyCal user on my Mac but had always used Fantastical on my iOS devices. But lately Fantastical hadn’t been able to keep up with all my accounts (3 gmail, 1 apple, 2 Office365) and my many calendars. BusyCal is perfect. Never loses a calendar. Shows everything. Easy to edit. Easy to create with natural language support. The only thing that would make it better is an Apple Watch app, too.

Stellar. I love BusyCal. I live and die by it on Mac, iPhone and iPad. Stable, great feature set, intuitive to use. Combines reminders and calendar in a nice way. It’s what Apple’s apps should have been. Also, their tech support is outstanding. A few weird bugs in Microsoft servers and they were prompt and solved it. And super quick to reply. Buy it, way better than the competition.

Long time user, disappointed at lack of improvement. Waiting for quite a long time for: • Snooze options same as desktop (why no x days?) • Customizable repeats (eg, every 60 days, every 4th Monday) • Date display on app icon (finally resorted to putting Apple's Calendar app in the dock so I can see date on home screen) 🙄 I have used BusyCal on desktop for about six years, iOS, a few years. Requested mini months print option on the desktop version a long time ago. Still no fix. Snooze customization is the primary reason I bought the iOS app, but it does not sync with the desktop nor is it as flexible. iOS repeat options are so narrow that I'm rarely able to set repeats on the iPad, which is inconvenient. What's up, developers? I realize Apple is difficult to work with but I expected more improvement by now.

One of my favorites.. I’ve been using BusyCal on my Mac for years... and now on my iPhone! The only thing that prevents me from giving this app a 5th star is that the app icon displays today’s date like it’s a number of notifications instead of looking like a calendar date. That’s the ONLY thing I liked about the iOS calendar app. I wish BusyMac would fix that... Otherwise this is the best calendar app for the Mac OR iPhone!

One Major Problem!. I use BusyCal on my desktop and like the look and configurability of this app, but it has one huge problem that keeps me using another calendar. You cannot tap on a time slot to start an appointment at that time. How could someone overlook such an obvious thing on a touch device? I may have missed it, but I am sure I have looked everywhere. I can touch some items to duplicate and on the month view to start an appointment at the default time, but I want to touch a time in day or week view to start an appointment at that time.

Goodbye Fantastical, Hello BusyCal. I was a Fantastical user for many years. Now that they’ve gone to a subscription model, it’s no longer worth it, especially after already paying a high price for app the first time. BusyCal has all the feature I need, and adds a few more that I wasn’t expecting such as List View and Weather Info embedded into each day. Between the desktop app and iOS app, BusyCal is a welcome replacement for Fantastical users. Thanks!

Like it but not so much. I use this app on my MacBook and iOS devices. I like it best on the Mac, in iOS my biggest complaints are two. In iOS there is no clear distinction between the different months except in the the fist day of a month. Makes it difficult when scrolling for an event. Also the starting time of an event does not show unless you tap to zoom in. I understand there’s not much room in phone screen but plenty on a iPad. Hope for a fix or will have to try something else.

So Darn Close! Needs Color Coding !!. Great in many ways, but I think BusyCal falls short in that, for as visually-oriented an app, there ought to be user-defined color-coding of events/appointments. These colors would optionally change to variants of the same (or another, user-defined) color upon completion. Also: I often know and want to capture a list of WHAT I need to do, but not (necessarily) WHEN. Dr. Appointment (1 hr) Estimate for Smith (30 minutes. Mon? Tue? Thu?) Lunch with Josh Call Robert Start Jones project (4-6 hrs) Dinner with Carol & Mike So… I’d like to list out my events on, say, the left, then drag each to the appropriate day & be prompted for a time or time-block. Color dots could be assigned to the person who originally created the event (if the calendar is shared) I’d give this a higher rating if not for this frustrating (and simple) feature.

Excellent CalDAV Support. BusyCal supports many calendar protocols, but it really shines as a CalDAV client. Over the years on the Mac, I tried every major calendar application and found most flakey when it came to full implementation of all of CalDAV’s features. BusyCal has been the exception. The design of the app is clean and the feature set is robust. I love the list view (which includes a weather forecast), and I spend most of my calendar review time there.

Wow. I have never left a review before but, the only thing I didn’t like was the lack of a single event having a single banner in month view. So I sent a feature request, didn’t think much of it, and now I see it is in the latest version. Thanks so much. Going to purchase for mac now!

Can’t sync google calendar. I just bought this app and I am trying to sync my google calendar to BusyCal and it isn’t doing anything. I don’t want to have to retype everything in again. Could use some help. I followed all the directions and still not working. So frustrating.

Several reasons for low rating. This is my fourth rating and only my first review showed up for a few hours. Then it disappeared. Second one never was accepted, same for third try to review. Why 1-star? This calendar app only mirrors exactly what is already on the iphone calendar app. Wanted a completely standalone calendar app which would allow me to stop using the iphone app. However this app pushes and pulls daily entry so what’s the use to have a clone ? Not with paying their price for sure. Will be asking for a refund.

Want to love. I want to love this app. There are two things standing in the way for me. 1. The inability to touch the screen at the right time that I want to add an appointment is incredibly annoying, considering every other app for calendaring I’ve used allows you to do this. I can use the existing UI, but it is way less than optimal. 2. I schedule a lot of repeat appointments. Many of them are not standard, meaning they don’t fit into a neat little package of daily, weekly, monthly, or yearly. They need a custom rule, which every other calendar app I’ve use has. I find myself having having to open other apps to schedule these feats the purpose of having one calendaring app. If these two things get address, it moves quickly to 5- stars for me.

The Best!. I own Fantastical 2.5, Todoist, Omnifocus, Things3 and this app is by far the most elegant and efficient app. If you want to see both reminders and Apple calendar in one screen this is it. I use also BusyCal for Mac. The only negative is that even though the Mac icon is displaying the date, the iOS icon is not. But I’m sure it is a feature blocked by Apple. Try first the Mac version they have a 30days trial on their web site.

Absolutely THE BEST calendar app!. I've tried so many calendar apps and I always come back to Busycal. Their options for an integrated view of ALL my calendars (O365, iCloud, multiple subscribed) and my O365 task list are well designed, and their support is unequalled! They truly are the best around, and I use it on my Mac and iPhone. And no... I'm not affiliated with Busycal in any way... just a very happy customer.

This was my go to calendar till OS13 broke the todo list. I used to LOVE this app. I used it on ALL my devices and relied on it. Then OS13 stopped supporting CalDAV. Now BusyCal reminders no longer work. Suddenly, my productivity workflow ground to a halt. I keep expecting to see an update to fix this, but nothing yet. I can’t wait any longer so I’m saying goodbye. Maybe I’ll pick it up again when (if) it gets fixed. But I feel I can’t trust it. I need an app I know is going to be there and work when I need it. Apple Calendar and Reminders may not be the most full-featured apps out there, but I can trust them to ALWAYS work. In the end, that’s what is most important.

Replaced Fantastical. I’d been using Fantastical on iOS for years but never loved its handling of reminders or some of its other quirks (nor its recent pricing model). Decided to take the plunge with BusyCal and haven’t looked back. I find it easier and faster to use, and it handles reminders better than Fantastical (and *way* better than the Reminders app which remains IMO terrible). Highly recommend!

Great app but why no colored labels in the iPhone app?. I both use the desktop version and the app. Great products. I use them everyday for work, home, personal, etc. The only feature I’d like to see in the app that exists in the desktop version is the labels for the To Dos. I don’t know why but you can add colored labels on the desktop app but not the iPhone app. Why? Please add the labels in the iPhone app and it will be a 5 star.

Great, minus tasks disappearing once in awhile. It’s been really handy for the most part. Every once in awhile my tasks pulled from a certain account will vanish. I’ve tried syncing, but it comes back when it wants to. Usually not more than a day later. Still annoying since I use this app to keep track of everything. Overall a great app.

So close to perfect. I have tried this App several times over the years. I am so glad to see such wonderful improvements, in the present update, that I use personally. I will probably use this App as my go to App from now on. The only thing I think it lacks, and this is just an opinion, is a better week view. Several competitors offer a week view that have the days as “daily squares” that show the information much better than relying on the current week view which sizes itself into oblivion and unneeded truncated information. (Unneeded in the aspect that this would not happen in the other view option.) I hope some day that will be offered here as well. All in all, great updates that have pushed my view up to 4 stars. (5 is kept for perfection) Thanks guys!

App Icon. The app designers REALLY need to figure out a way to overcome apples patent protections and change the icon to read the current date of the month. I understand the option to put a badge with the date...but that's not going to work. The BusyCal app for MacBook has the date for the icon... iOS should also have the same. Also: pinch-to-stretch the month view of the Cal should be modified to stretch on the X-axis as well as the Y-axis so we can specify the shape we like best on our calendar...rather than no option except a vertical rectangle which just limits tons of (x-axis) space to quickly read appointment information on the fly.

Okay calendar interface. I like some of the features like pinch to widen the week, but there are some strangely missing features like being able to easily change the duration of an event by simply resizing it from the calendar view... instead you have to click into the item first and select duration then you’re taken to a special resizing mode. In the native calendar app you just press on any event for a second and you can resize it.

My calendar, my way. I love that I can set BusyCal to display events on my phone the way I want to see them. Along with my reminders. also their Support is terrific. I was having a sync problem with my Google Calendar. From within BusyCal I was able to send them a log and add notes in my email. They came right back with the solution. Good going.

Love this app!. I have tried more calendar and planner apps than I can recall, and the best fit for me by far is BusyCal. If there is a feature that has not been included, I am certain that it is one I do not need. For me, BusyCal is fantastic. Your mileage, of course, may well vary. I highly recommend BusyCal.

Very good app. I like having a good month view, and this app has it, and I love that I can pinch to expand the number of weeks. I’ve tried several different calendars and landed on this one. I wish it had the combination month/list view like Fantastical, but that app has a crazy expensive subscription. So this app is great: it has the great features and is a one-time purchase. THANK YOU!

Well-Designed. The developers have worked for years to produce, what I believe is, the top calendar app for iOS & macOS. Over the decades, I've battled with, employed quite a few applications to manage my calendar/planning needs -- it's nice to finally find, use the total app package. Truly a well-planned, well-designed app that continues to build upon its value.

Waited way too long. I’ve always used the laptop version but for some reason, I don’t know why, never put the app on my phone. Big mistake. Open iCal and you see dots where events are scheduled. You have to open the day to see what the event or appointment is scheduled. BusyCal you actually see the events at a glance without having to look for a dot then open the day. Wish I’d done this a long time ago. Highly recommend.

Missing a few key features for me. So close to perfect, but I’m back to CalenGoo for now. I like the UI so much more here so I’ll keep checking back! I need to be able to make a local edit to the title of an event I was invited to and to be able to view my iOS reminders within the calendar, I know there have been past limitations with the iOS 13 update, but hopefully since other calendar apps now have the feature again it’s possible here too. 🤞

Why can’t I resize the type in list view?????. Overall a good calendar (and I’ve bought all of the good ones to compare), but why can’t I make the type smaller in list view?! That seems really simple and would allow more events to show. I hate how large everything is! It’s like what I’d use if I was old and couldn’t find my glasses. Come on, make this happen! I’d never use anything else if this was fixed. (Oh. And dark mode!)

Thoughtful, well-designed. Works very predictably, tends to anticipate exactly what I want. Really my only gripe is the lack of custom repeat schedules e.g., repeat every two weeks. It’s mildly frustrating that the feature works on MacOS, but not on iOS. My only other wish is that the email notifications would sync so that I don’t see the same notification on my Mac, my iPad, and my iPhone. Putting the notification dispositions into iCloud would solve the problem.

Was perfect... now missing custom repeat :(. This app WAS prefect for me because it beautifully incorporates the to-do list with the calendar AND carries incomplete to-do’s forward! Awesome! However, at some point ‘custom repeat’ fell off the repeat options list. This makes it very difficult to schedule repeating weekday vs weekend events. I would have to put something in 5 times with a weekly repeat to get it to show up M-F but not Sa & Su. If this feature could be restored, it would immediately be a 5 star app in my opinion.

One of the best calendars and excellent value. Despite the title I rated the app a 4. Only because it could be the best if it offered a week view where each day is a row having events lined up left to right. I’ve seen this on two other calendars and I think it’s the best way to view a week. That’s a preference. This calendar is rent nice. I’m enjoying using it to stay organized.

Best app I have on my phone to organize many calendars. Best app I have on my phone to organize many calendars I have to organize many calendars and use different colors. The standard iPhone calendar app is not as comprehensive The desk top version is even more amazing to use and strongly recommend that. Take a peek at it. It will change your world on how easy Efficiently you can do so much. Blows away iCal or any other application They consistently update their app and make changes and enhancements. I could not run my business with out these applications especially the desk top version. It has made all the difference in my success.

Recent releases very slow. For the past few weeks BusyCal has been slow to scroll and hangs while viewing appointments in the inbox. I don't have this issue with Fantastical, the Google Calendar, or the built-in Calendar app. I like the ability to create sets, and the fact that there isn't a large annual fee, but the app seems to be getting worse as time goes on.

Love this app. Everything is great but would love the option to view a year at a time. When making advance appointments would be easier to get to a date 10 months from now by not having to scroll through month by month. Unless there is away that you can search for a date in advance.

Terrific calendar. UPDATE I am finding that this calendar just gets better and better. It totally does most anything that I need in.a calendar. We are also getting regular updates. That is always a good sign😀 I have used a different calendar for about 15 years but now they have gone to a subscription which I don't like. Then I Found BusyCal. Initially I had some issues and contacted Customer service and their response was almost instantaneous. Just brilliant. I then experimented and now I have just what I want. I have also made some suggestions to improve the iOS version. With each suggestion I have received a positive response. Well done

Simply the best calendar app for Apple iOS/MacOS. Tried five different Calendar apps and this is simply the best. Has a UI that is very close to Apples own calendar but the big difference - To Do’s are integrated in to the app. Simple summary, plans travel time, integrates with BusyContacts, includes weather for a week inside the app so you can plan, EXCELLENT support and just an Apple feeling when using it makes it worth to pay for. I refrain from mentioning what other calendar apps I tested (paid for them all) but this is simple the best. The ONLY negative is that it does not yet have an AppleWatch app but I am using another app I bought for the watch. But even the sun has spots :-)!

Do not like newest update. Before this most recent update - when I added a new event, I could just type the date and time in the description and it would put the event in on that date and at that time. It no longer does that. Why would you change that feature? Now I have to manually change the date and time? It was much easier when adding an event to type it into the description and have it automatically ally change. Very disappointed!!!!

Great app for Google, Exchange and iCloud. This app seamlessly integrates my different calendars in one. I’ve been using for several years. I use it on my Apple devices (iMac, iPad, iPhone) to see all my calendars including my work Exchange. Can’t edit the Google ones in BusyCal, but you can edit the iCloud and Exchange events. To edit the Google ones you have to go to your Google calendar and change it then it will sync and be visible in BusyCal.

Totally Worth Every Penny. It is the best calendar + to-do app I have used so far, and I have used many over the years. I love that it is not a subscription model. I was more people to buy it, so they could be in business to continue to upgrade this app to make it even better.

Fundamental ux problems. 1. You can’t tap on an empty space in the grid to create a new event. Instead you have to click the + button and then select the day and time again manually even if you just found a good spot. Every other calendar app in the world has adopted this tap to schedule functionality. 2. Lots of tiny bell 🔔 icons clutter up every calendar event block. No one needs to see an icon indicating they will be reminded shortly about this event... 3. You go through a long painstaking setup process of linking your accounts on the desktop app, and then have to redo it completely on mobile. Desktop and mobile apps are completely separate. Overall could be promising but not much better than iOS/macOS default calendar app.

Such a Beautiful & Functional app on iOS. I have used plenty of productivity apps like this, but this app is full of features!!! So far the only missing is adding sub tasks to tasks imo. But I see regular genuine updates with new features going on & so believe they will bring in this feature soon. Glad I found this app! Thanks & Hats off!!!

ALERT. I bought this because Apple doesn’t give an option to add anniversaries. This app does, but there is no way to turn on alerts for them so back to square one, just as useless as the Apple Calendar. Might want to either fix that or put it in the details for the app so people don’t waste their money. Update: Was contacted by developers and said that it was fixed. Alerts still don’t work on anniversaries 🤷🏻‍♂️ only reason I got it. Lemme know when it’s fixed and I’ll fix my review.

Not bad but prefer to see event times in month view. I wish this app would show event start times in month view. BusyCal for Mac does. Also Calenders 5 for iOS does. I have been using Calenders 5 but I thought I’d try BusyCal for iOS because I like BusyCal for Mac. There are aspects of BusyCal I like better than Calenders 5, but BusyCal doesn’t show event times in month view. I wrote Busymac to ask them if it were possible to see start times in month view and I got a response saying no because there isn’t enough space. So I am going to continue using Calenders 5 instead.

Love it, just needs an update. I cannot say enough good things about this app if 2Do and Fantastical had a baby it would be this Busycal . The only thing that this app really needs in my opinion is an update that would add a today widget, an iMessage app, some url scheme and an Apple Watch app. But with the most recent update my confidence has been reassured knowing that this app has not been forgotten. I've reached out to customer service and they let me know that they are busy with the Mac version and the iOS version will be updated in time

Best calendar app across iOS and Mac OS. I tried 4 or 5 calendar apps before I settled on Busy Cal. I started with the Mac OS app and happily added the apps on my iPhone and iPad. The thing that sold me on Busy Cal was color-coding my calendar using tags. I have several calendar sources (personal calendar, CalDAV subscription for school events, holidays, birthdays, etc.) and tags allow me to use a unified color-coding system across them. Other things I love: quick-add feature for events, integration of reminders into my calendar, and default settings for new events (length, default reminders, etc.) Two things I’d love to see the devs add in the future are a widget so I can see what’s coming up on my schedule and an easier way to tag events in a subscribed calendar on iPad OS.

An excellent update. Previously the developers updated the Mac version of the app, which finally convinced me to switch to it full-time. The iOS version was dated and lacked some features. That's been fixed! This is a good-looking, powerful calendar. It’s been rock solid on my Mac and I expect the same on iOS. 👍🏼 Integration with my work Google Calendar works well, including sending and receiving meeting invites. I also like the 3-day view which is the best way to look at my busy cal. ;-) On a phone, there’s not enough room to show everything but BusyCal does it better than others I have tried. And I appreciate being able to buy this app instead of renting it through a subscription.

How did I live without it??. I had wished that I could somehow put my reminder list on my calendar. Have to maintain both app was a hassle - as silly as that sounds. I often neglected my reminder list. No more. I mentioned this annoyance to a friend and they said I had to try this new app they just started using. This app changed my life. I don’t know why ticking off my todos feels so good, but it does. Bravo!

Excellent Feature Rich calendar and reminders app. Love how this app integrates calendar and reminders. Great look and feel. Am hoping for the ability to see a preview of my calendar when invited to an event so I can see if I am free/busy. Thank you for adding iOS widget to make this a killer 5 star app!
