Great but buggy. This app does what dozens of other apps try to do and it does it better than all the rest. That said, it’s a buggy mess. Making a list, selecting text, or even simply hitting the return key breaks the text editor to the point that it becomes unusable and you need to back out of the note and go in again to fix it. There are other bugs too, like trying to select and move notes around within a notebook barely works and often takes two or three attempts. This is a great app in theory, but these problems completely derail my train of thought, and this happens A LOT. The only reason I haven’t deleted this app in favor of a less buggy competitor is that there are no competitors offering the same features and presentation. Some come close, but none quite have everything this app does. Please PLEASE fix the bugs.

Overall, great. I started using this app because I was looking for an alternative to the Apple Notes app, and I was intrigued by the idea of separating every note into categorized notebooks. That is the best part about this app: the notebooks. It’s a game changer to know exactly where to find the note you’re looking for. The notes themselves are also appealing; they show up like little post-it notes and it’s fun to watch them accumulate within notebooks. However, the app lacks the ability to add a picture within a note. A picture can be added as its own note, but it can’t be added within a note. This can be frustrating at times. This is minor, but you also cannot edit part of a note title and you must delete the whole thing if you want to fix a typo. Overall though, this is a great app and is much more friendly and interesting to use than the standard notes app.

In Dire need for a…. I’m giving 3 stars here not because this app only deserves a 3 star - I just downloaded the app a short while ago and haven’t got my hands all warmed up with it but from an quick look I guess the iPhone version of the app per se deserves 5 start or maybe 4 (for hard to find the signup/login after you bought the in-app option) . On the contrary that I wasn’t happy with the app so I gave it a 3, but rather, I see the potential of it and it should have a macOS version while it doesn’t. I wish the 3 star rating alerts the developer of such Need and call for people likeminded to agree. I’ve been using Evernote since forever as it’s the only note-taking app using *keyboard* as the main input (rather than drawing) source and has cloud sync feature and is available for all Apple devices. I, amongst many people, are in dire need for a replacement to Evernote which has some ridiculous flaws. For starters you can only choose a color from a preset of 14 colors for your fonts; second, the contextual menu in Evernote Mac version blocked many native options like “Look UP” and “Services”; the 3rd, they even reinvented existing macOS shortcuts for no reason (eg. “Paste&Match Style” ). So I’m appealing to the developer of the “Notebook” app that they make a MacOS version of the Notebook and I kinda have a gut telling that this Mac version will win you another editor’s choice.

Very good. 👍👍. Has been a good note taking app, but was always a bit glitchy when navigating a work in progress. This seems to have improved just lately though. Has some nice features, which work very well. This is why I’ve continued using it over some others. Lately though a number of app makers are going the way of some other greedy app developers by changing to subscription’s. Subscriptions are for magazines, who have totally new content every month. "Most apps don’t." I’ve never had a subscription app, and I never will. I will pay a fair one time price, for a good, and well supported app… I’ve now been informed that everything with the current non subscription plan will remain the same as it was, and you can still write notes up to 30MB, Upload files of a size up to 100MB, Get 24x5 support via Email, Community forum and access to the NB knowledge base, Get Complete offline access to your notes, Rollback to any of the past 10 versions of any notecard, Setup recurring reminders to your notecard, Lock your notes, Private Share and much more… So from the response that I and others have received, I’ve gathered that they are assuring us that we will continue to have all the same features and great support we’ve become accustomed to.

Great app. Would love to have a couple of options. This app is a simple app that is very easy to use. I don’t need a complicated app. All I want is an app where I can make simple lists and have some basic formatting options. This app fills that need. I love it! My only complaint is that I don’t need to see 5 lines of data within each note when viewing a notebook at the high level. It would be nice if the user could define how much content is visible at that level. Personally all I need to see is the title of the note. By showing multiple lines, you have to scroll down a lot more to find the note you’re looking for. But I still love this app. I’d like to see an undo option. I’ve accidentally deleted content (in another note app) and there was no recovery. Adding this would put this app above many others.

LOVE iPhone app... Watch app needs work. I love how it looks on the iPhone!!! There are so many helpful features such as inserting a bulleted list, or a numbers list, even highlighting words/pharses and being able to use bold font!!! However, I really wish I could see on my watch what I see on my phone. Currently everything just runs into everything with no differentiations so it’s difficult for me to tell what I need to buy at what store without looking for the tiny bullet point first. Even the line spaces don’t show on the Watch unless you place a character in there. PLEASE FIX if possible!!! I would love to be able to just pull my To Do Lists and Shopping List on my Watch without having to squint looking for the bullet point. Thank you for an otherwise helpful app!!!

Text notes need MANY bug fixes. I’ve been using this app for nearly a year, and overall it’s pretty good. It supports a bunch of different activities well, and it only takes 5ish seconds to load. However, I don’t think I would want to recommend it to anyone because of how badly it handles text. For example, if you have a text note that is longer than about 250 lines, attempting to select text scrolls up or down at about 40 lines per second, making it impossible to copy/paste/italicize/etc. If you try to access the app while talking to someone on the phone, nearly every UI element starts floating and becomes unusable. If you title any of your notes longer than 11 characters, it cuts off the rest. If you go to another app and come back to it, it removes all spaces in your current line and the cursor is placed to the start of the line. If the line above your current line is italicized, and you try to type anything before the first character on your current line, it will be italicized too despite being on a new line. These have been the bugs that I have experienced most often, and they are incredibly frustrating. Unless they are fixed, I’m just going to use the regular notes app, as it actually handles text correctly.

Really helps with...everything. I get hundreds of ideas every day. Anything from new meals to cook for my family to a new color scheme for my bedroom. I am always looking for ways to remember things and this app is it. I considered carrying around a notebook and pen everywhere so I could jot down ideas as they came, but let's be realistic...not gonna happen. I'm a visual person and I always wished there was an easier way to organize my thoughts without having to physicallywrite it down all the time. This app is exactly what I was looking for. I can save pictures, lists, doodles, etc. all in one place. If you think this is the same as using the generic notepad your phone comes with, think again. You NEED this!!

Almost as good as OneNote. Love having all the note books I want so I can keep to-do lists, important docs, photos and videos, links to things that lift me! Wish it were easier to post things from the notebook directly to places like messenger, Facebook marketplace, etc, but it can be done with a little extra effort! It worked seamlessly with my son and I use it at the same time to take photos of things we plan to sale. Sync was super quick from One phone to the other on the app. I created a log in for my 18 yo so he can have college stuff, memories and important docs all super handy as we work to launching him off to college! Really love this app.

Great App, but needs a small but annoying bug fix. Hey, I love your app and how secure it is on the back end. It’s not zero knowledge but it is very encrypted both at rest and in transit! And you CAN get a password reset should you ever need one! And it has 2 factor authentication. I use it every day for taking well, notes :) The only bug I see that’s really kind of annoying is, on the mobile iPhone app, is when you’re typing on your keyboard and taking notes, the words/punctuation sometimes go off the screen on the right side, they don’t automatically go down a row... it’s very annoying when half of my word is out of my field of view but it’s still there when I hit enter. I find myself constantly hitting enter just so I can see and read the words. It even happens for punctuation, the period or comma will be out of my view but still there when I swipe over to read it. Please correct this so it ALL stays on the field of view. Thank you!!

Good but you lose work due to bugs and design issues. I downloaded this app in substitution to Goodnotes as I didn’t want to spend money. It works very well and made me more productive in class and in taking notes. Not only are there notebooks, it also supplies checklists, notecards, etc. However, I have several major issues with this: sometimes parts of my writing would just disappear while using the drawing function in my notebooks. It’s frustrating and I lose a lot of information. Another thing is the scrolling design. Whenever I zoom in to write and zoom back out, writing might get cropped and disappear. There’s a very limited amount of space you can write in, and I would love if you gave an extended scrolling function. I also noticed that swiping with your finger erases writing. This would be a useful feature, but whenever I’m moving around the paper by pinching to zoom, I accidentally erase words. Furthermore, it sometimes wipes out large areas of writing randomly after I fix a small detail in the same area. Another thing I would love to see in this app is more tools in the drawing function. Although I believe that notetaking apps are rather good with limited tools to keep the same feel, some tools such as a lasso tool or a fill bucket may make the process much easier. In summary, this app has a lot of potential but is still running on a lot of issues. I look forward to it being upgraded soon. Thanks.

This App Is Amazing!. This app is truly the best! I had been looking for a well organized app for notes, checklists, and platforms to write with, and I couldn’t be happier that I stumbled upon this one. You can organize notes that go together in folders, and you can even put notes inside of folders into groups! With the bold, italic, font type, syncing, drawing, and note and folder colours, it makes everything seem just a bit more customizable. I use this app more than I probably should, and I love it to pieces. It’s perfect for my stories, prompts, links I need, pictures to use later, and fanfiction I’m writing. Syncing is so easy and fast, too. I recommend this app to anyone and everyone of all ages and needs.

Music Booking. I’m in a band and as we kept booking more and more shows and hiring other bands to be on the bill with us it became more and more difficult to keep track of everything. This app allowed me to create a folder for just the band’s schedule (you can have an unlimited number of folders) then within that folder I could create each of our band’s show dates as their own folder and then inside of those I was able to add all the details for each show including the posters. Plus you can have everything a different color which just helps separate and categorize things even better. This app is perfect for musicians, booking agents, talent buyers and anyone with a full plate of scheduling that requires more than just a calendar. I love it. Also it’s totally free, you don’t have to do renewed payments or anything, just a great app!

Just one problem. I love this app. It’s really user friendly and I replaced it with my Apple notes app which I really liked already. If you just want to sketch a drawing this is great. Definitely don’t use this if you’re a digital artist. However I have one problem. I have a Siri shortcut that creates a note for me, but when I exit that note, it doesn’t show me my notebooks, it just shows me a blank screen. So then I have to close the app out and then jump back in and it loads and FINALLY I can see my notebooks again. I think this is a great app for college students for taking notes. If you’re willing to pay for an app, I recommend notability. I love this app if you’re coming from apple notes. Did I mention that it has a dark mode! So everything about this app is great besides the Siri shortcut app problem. I think this is a great app for college students, people coming from apple notes, or people who use digital shopping lists. And one more thing, I think the iPhone version is a little harder to use, but the XS max or any iPad version is easier to use.

this app DELETED my note. So I had a set of important notes that I typed out. A day later, I decided to add another set of notes to the same notebook that the aforementioned notes were in. This notebook only had these two notes. Halfway through writing the second note, I decided to take a break and closed the second note. I clicked back to return to the homescreen where I could see all my notes and voila, that whole notebook was missing. I checked through the trash can to see if I had accidentally deleted it and the notes didn’t show up. I even dug through the app’s files on my laptop in the application support section and couldn’t find my notes to any avail. At this point, I was extremely frustrated and worried that my other notes would go missing. I decided to give Zoho notes another chance and retyped up both notes again and carefully closed my notebook once again and returned to the home page to see an overview of my notebooks. AND MY NOTES WERE MISSING AGAIN. I checked through the source files again and could not find them. I’m really angry and disappointed in this app because it had such good prospects and user design, but if my notes are just going to suddenly go missing, I can’t rely on this app. I’ve decided to migrate to Evernote instead.

This puts Apple’s stock Notes app to shame!. I rarely do reviews, but I can honestly say that I have been in love with this app for several years now. It has every feature, well, except one I can think of, that I, personally, could ask for in an app like this! I love the tagging, the customization (personal wallpapers for folder), the easy PDF converter/sharing, the easy app integration with other apps…the list goes on. The only feature I would like, and to be honest, I don’t even think you can do it with any app other than the ones that come in the phone (maybe not), is when you search for something on the main screen of your actual phone it doesn’t seem to search through the app. I was looking for some information I know I had saved the other day, but I could not recall where I had saved it. I had to open the app and search within here to find it. Frustrating because I almost gave up thinking maybe I didn’t save the information in the first place. I thought apps used to be able to do this without having to open them, but I can’t recall anything anymore. Again, maybe I’m doing something wrong, but it’s not the worst thing. All the other features out surpass that one negative thing in my opinion. Totally worth, at the very least, checking out!!

Uuuuugggghhhhh. I really want to like this app. I mean really I do. However, I have only been able to use the app on 2 occasions and have not been able to access the app or my research since. All I get is an error message that reads that I typed an incorrect url. WHAT?! I didn’t type anything. I merely pressed the button to open the app. They offer a great concept. I only wished it worked. Update: Increased rating to 3 stars. I appreciate that the developer contacted me and offered a solution to remedy the error message. However, that didn’t resolve it completely. I have registered the account as advised but still get an error message. The only difference is that I can click done and it will then allow me to access my notes. It’s an extra unnecessary step but at least I can use the app.

My go to app. I’ve tried the app that comes with iPhone and iPad it was ok. Then I stumbled onto this app. I love that each one looks like a notebook and I can change the cover. I’ve created notebook for medical history for each family member. Did one for recipes which is easy to fine with my cover with this delicious shrimp dish picture. It’s so easy to save my recipes I find while searching the web. I select print from inside the website recipe then copy just text and create a new page and paste it. Even copy a picture an add that. I found it helpful in addition to giving page the header name I also make sure it’s typed on first line (when you print the page it doesn’t print the header name). I add in caps before title appetizer, dessert etc. love that you can add tags and star favorite etc. I can’t say enough about app. Love it

Best. been using notebook for about three years and I needed to start a journal for personal reasons and I was looking for a journal app somewhere to go do what I needed to do I downloaded numerous apps to try them and I come to find out that notebook was the best app to use...just make a new notebook in mark it my journal and make entries every day ....add pictures etc. it’s the best app and like I said I’ve been using it for three years and Will continue using it ...the only bad thing ....about a year and a half ago I paid for the advance subscription and when my phone died it never came back so I’m little weary of paying the money again ....because when I did it last time, it really didn’t make no difference ...it is the same as the free one

BEST APP EVER!!!. I have spent hours looking for the perfect notes app and I stumbled upon this one. This app is heaven on earth. It has absolutely everything I need and things I did not know I need!! I literally had 2-3 other note apps downloaded on my phone because each one had different things I needed but this app is a one-stop-shop. It has everything I need and more! It works on iPad, iPhone, and Apple Watch...another thing I was looking for! The best part is that this app is completely free and it’s ad free....so no ads for free use! The graphics, designs, colors, and creative spin you can put on your notes are amazing!! A must have!!!! Thank you, thank you, thank you to the creators!!! ❤️

This App is WONDERFUL!!. I couldn't go any further without taking the time to review this app. When I initially downloaded it, I was drawn to the “post-it note” potential of it and needed a simple way of reminding and organizing myself of some things. Much to my surprise, the various possibilities of this app unveil the more I use it! I am in the midst of a serious personal healing journey, and the Notebook is meeting more needs of documenting my experiences than I could have ever dreamed of! I can't say enough what a godsend it is! There are so many practical, flexible options to recording and organizing information. It's become much more than Notebooks to me, I'm transforming it into a highly experiential journal with various modes of storytelling! Much respect to the Developer(s) - I am grateful for this app. Thank you

Also the different notebooks! Note groups are cool too, notebooks within notebooks. The covers are really cute! 3. Very clean. >Nice formatting, and nothing is messy with it, really. 4. Suggestions or Teensy Let-Downs >Can you please make more covers? Most of them just aren’t.. me. >Can you make a way for the background to be like notebook paper? That would be funny. >There should be a way to interchange your notes. I know you can put a drawing into text, but, maybe I want to put a sound note with a drawing, or a checklist with text. >Right when you enter, your thing with your notes pops up, for like 5 seconds before your passcode pops up. 5. Really love this app, but. This app is everything I was looking for, and free!? Amazing. Superior to all other free notebook apps and probably on par with paid apps. But I have a huge issue. I’ve been using it for a couple of weeks and finally understand how everything works, which is why I’m so disappointed that my notes have disappeared. Half my notes, all from the past week, are gone. I’ve also been having this glitch where my pen will suddenly start...erasing? Disappearing? But you can still see it writing but it won’t stay. Then I have to exit the note or even the app altogether. It happens quite often sometimes. And I’ve checked my trash: not there. My notes I deleted from the week before? They’re there but I can’t find half my notes. It’s stressing me out because a few were very important and my professors don’t post their notes online. None of my notebooks have disappeared though, but even going through my whole collection of notes there’s nothing.

Looooovvvvvvvveee ittttttttttt!!!😍😻😍😻😍😻😘🤩. These is like the best writing app out there! There are so many ways just to make the note you. You can be messy or organized whatever you like. I use it to write in like every way stories or journal and a lot of other stuff. You can draw and write. Chose your own cover. One of the best things is that there is a passcode. Some ideas. 1 it’s just a small bug. When your passcode pops up about five or three seconds to late. Please fix that course what if someone tapped it and saw the names of your note books. 2 Can you please make some new notebook covers. 3 Can you make it to where you can write and doodle by each other. Capable and powerful. I really like the capabilities and power of this notebook—I have and use several already—Notability and Nebo and each fills its niche really well. Zoho I have found has other strengths—particularly a saving information from the my research activities. None of my other apps do this as well as Zoho. In addition, Zoho does a great job jotting notes and and keeping them organized and accessible—something I find missing in Apple Notes. The notebook format fits the traditional papernote book strength while adding the capacities afforded by digital technology. And it is free! Amazing and wonderful (defined by its usefulness). Added to previous review. I use this all the time. It is so handy and does what it claims. I still rely and use it ALL THE TIME.

Great app for organizing my ideas. I dabble in writing stories and the like and I enjoy making collections on info on the characters and other lore aspects of the story. Before I just put everything in the default Apple notes app under a note with the stories title, but this app’s system of notebooks that group my notes together makes everything so much more organized. It also can be used for making good to do lists and be displayed as a widget accessible from the Home Screen. My only gripe is that you can’t pick and choose which notes are displayed on the widget, it instead just shows all the ones you recently made/edited.

Excellent. This app is really convenient and makes note-taking and organization of my notes simple. It’s great for meetings and quick thoughts or tasks I might need to jot down to remember for later. I love that I can audio record notes as well! The only features I would add are templates (notebook paper, graphic organizers, etc.), and I would love the ability to hand write multiple pages of notes instead of just being able to sketch one page. Sometimes I prefer writing with my iPad pen, as opposed to typing. Overall, thank you for making a nice, free, easy to interface with tool for notes. I really enjoy this app and recommend it highly!

LOVE IT!. Just got this app a few days ago. So far REALLY love it! Search for an app like this because the “Notes” app, that comes with iPhones and iPad, loses all my notes with every iOS update!!! I’ve used that app for really important things and needed a “good” replacement. This new app has so many advantages! I can create different notebooks - ie personal, business, medical etc. Ea notebook cover can be changed using stock covers, or better yet, photos from my albums. I can put a pic of my grandchild for personal, a Christmas fam photo on cover of XMAS notebook, etc. I can move notebooks around to change visual order. Can move notes around within a notebook and can change background color of notes. I changed colors to red for rush, yellow for next important and so on. How fun is it to open my honey-do-list notebook - with a great photo of my husband! Or my grocery notebook with a photo of my beef braciole! I’m enjoying looking at my work notebook with a great photo of my Realtor Family Team! All in all, this is an app that does everything I would specifically design for myself!! LOVE IT!

AMAZING ! ... just SLOW AF :((. Until Notebooks I was basically using a combination of google keep, text edit, & ’s basic & clunky Note App. It had the organization missing from google keep, added different font styles, security. But as a SERIOUS digital and physical note taker it became unable to run smoothly on neither my phone, iMac, & ipads. This is why I had to switch from Evernote, the heavy features combined with extensive notes breaks down so many apps. OneNote worked reasonably well for the longest but eventually got so slow it would be easier just to write on paper. Maybe I just do the most but 2020 let’s do better; I’ve realized it’s google keeps lack of excessive features that allow it to run smoothly while handing large amounts of information. Bloated productivity apps are counterproductive overall.

You’ve made a writer very happy, Zoho!. As a journalist on the go, I’ve not been able to find an app where I can create a notebook for one article and keep my notes, pictures, interviews, tasks, drafts, and final piece, all in one place - and it saves on all my devices, including my watch. It’s so great to be able to access a notebook for each article since there is a lot of research and note taking involved, just to produce one draft. Zoho offers this for free! I have one suggestion, maybe it exists already and I just have figured it out yet, is to be able to add more than one picture from the gallery instead of one at a time.

It has some of the best features but could use improvement in a few areas. This app is one of the best note-taking apps because of the many features it has. I only have a few suggestions for improvement in these areas: (1) I want to import an image from my gallery but I can only do that by picking the “Take photo” option. I don’t want to take a photo because I’m working with diagrams for school. It bothers me that this app keeps asking for permission to access my camera when I just want to go to the gallery. There should be a separate button that takes me directly to the gallery. (2) I wish tagging was possible to improve organization of notes. I’d like to add tags to notes and be able to search for those tags through the search bar, just as I can for keywords in the notes. This type of categorization would help me a lot to organize my thinking, and find what I’m looking for more easily. Personalized tags are a great tool for making sense of scattered notes, so I really hope this feature will be considered.

Not for everyone. I’ll start off by saying I have been a long time Evernote user. I saw that Zoho had built a tool to migrate all of your Evernote notes into their notebook and I thought wow that’s awesome. I use other Zoho products and love them. So I went ahead and did it. I then tried to use zoho notebook instead of Evernote. Just couldn’t do it. You can’t intelligibly sort the notes very well. You have to go to the settings dialog to globally sort things which is incredibly frustrating. Filtering is non existent. The biggest problem for me was the emphasis on tile view (when looking at a notebook) and making things these giant cards. In Evernote I have several view options for listing my notes and my personal favorite is the title, a couple lines of the body and an icon for an attachment to the right. This small list item card tells me a ton about the note. It might have been the migration from Evernote to Zoho notebooks that messed things up, but the only way I can find my notes in Zoho is to search. The note cards don’t have any description on them, only a blown up icon picture and the name of the attachment. Not useful. The last thing that I use in Evernote extensively is email to note. This is not in Zoho notebook and you have to use Zapier to make it work. Tried that and it is very clunky and doesn’t include any attachments. In the end, I think the app is okay for simple notes, but heavy users should think twice. And coming from Evernote you will be limited.

Excellent app for organizing “thought-life”. I’ve used many apps for note-taking, and though it is hard to go wrong, this app excels in its functionality, organizational options, & variety of note types. My favorite part is being able to put every note into its own notebook, instead of needing to find notes with hashtags or scrolling. I gave this app 4/5 stars because I wish the setting on the notebooks were easier to adjust. I currently have my notebook set up in a way that isn’t allowing me to re-order my notes, and I cannot find the setting option to change it back so that I can drag-and-drop the notes. That being said, I appreciate that any issue I have had so far with this app is resolvable and not one that hinders the ability to use it with ease & effectiveness. If you, like me, write everything down — prayers, reminders, gift ideas, upcoming events, reading notes, sermon notes, daily task lists, etc., then this app is for you.

Bug Fixes Still Not Improved. This app is great! I love being able to organize things into different notebooks. It really suits my needs. So why the one star? I came to write about an issue that is so annoying I will not be able to use the app as much as I’d like. This app could replace every other app like it, except for this HUGE issue, and that’s the fact that you can’t highlight sections of text easily at all. It’s really disappointing to see a review from MARCH of this year with the same complaints that I have. Why haven’t they been fixed?! That is absolutely unreasonable and the failure to address these issues is very telling of the priorities of the people behind it. My google docs app isn’t terrible, just not as customizable as this one, but the ease of use of google docs puts it above this app. Even the default apple notes app is better than this because it doesn’t have these issues. UI is so important, but it’s not a priority to these developers. Fix this problem and this will be my number one notes app hands down, and I’d actually recommend it to others.

Love the customization options!!!. 100% FREE NO ADVERTISEMENTS NO POP UPS Create ‘notebooks’ with fully customizable covers with any image in your Photos. I found some cool art on a random web search and simply took a screenshot, saved it to the Photos app and voilà. Essentially works as a folder but with customizable cover. Next, create colorful notes (any RGB) with text, check boxes (I use for shopping lists), tables, free draw, attachments and voice recording. Within each note you can customize paragraph spacing like tabs, centering, bullet point and numbered lists, and more. Can lock and move notes to other notebooks. Ability to share to your contacts right in a text message. A few changes I’d like to see implemented include less space between notebooks on the main page with choice of smaller icons as 4 notebooks take up my whole screen. Also less space within paragraphs in each note. Lastly, couldn’t find a way to change font. On the whole would definitely recommend! ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

I have one complaint. I really love this app, as a writer its so useful to be able to write down or make an audio recording of my ideas as they come to me. And they sync across devices so regardless of where I am, I’m able to use it and it all goes to one place. You also don’t have to pay for new notebooks like certain other notebook apps which shall not be named. My only complaint is that in outlining I often need a lot of different font colors, it helps keep things organized. But, I haven’t found a way to change font colors here. It’s possible I’m missing it, but if I’m not please make it a feature! It would make my life sooooo much easier!

A awesome Notebook app I’m lovin’. So, so far , this app is by far super sweet n I love to be organized and keep things simple! Alot of kool features… !!! I’m inspired to motivate and get things done this way with a format for a list of to dos easily organized as it allows color coordinating with lots of neat fonts too chose from i love that! I definitely will appreciate the colorful templates too! .. and so multiple choices, with a little bit of everything..included. 😊 The last notes app, it’s been a real struggle keeping up-to-date and organized,as I have been trying to utilize for the last year and a half to two years and I lost all my old to recent notes n my entire to do list, n no way back in,, only back up to email, which did not work . And left stuck on the lock screen,😒 Long story short, I had no choice, but to delete that app, and reinstall ,and I was left with empty notes and lost work. 😞 So, I highly suggest this app instead! There is a lot more settings, for better organization skills, as a option for video journaling too🤪 ..as that’s what I’m aiming for! I give it a four star! soon to be five, no doubt! But I will re-rate the app again in time ,after I navigate where I can excel and have some success with keeping up with important things to get done throughout a busy life!

Intuitive & practical. I love this app, and it gets daily use on my iPad. I use it for checklists & quick shopping trips. I copy checklists for daily routines, which is super quick & easy compared to involved habit and task apps, so it’s more practical and I actually use it. It’s beautifully designed and syncs great to my iPhone at the store when I use it for shopping lists. My only complaint that I wish the developers would work on is drag & drop in the notes, which is glitchy. There was a problem one day with my info disappearing, but it was easily recovered by viewing previous versions of the note. My biggest concern is that the app is not being updated / maintained, tho the latter issue seems to have resolved.

Perfect!. Update—better and better. I keep finding new ways to use this. LOVE! Being able to write like on scratch paper, unlimited, with control of all the stuff like font size and BUIS, background color, spacing, etc., and make “notebooks” with meaningful names that group the pages together, is downright magical. It is relaxing and a relief and it works the way I want it too, rather than making me adapt to it. The controls are confusing at first, but it just takes a few minutes to figure out. Every time I want to do something new, I look through the options and so far I find what I want. Eventually, I may get into the power moves, but just for jotting things down just the way I want them this is immensely satisfying.

Very impressive - how is this app free!?!. The features are incredible and it is so easy to organize my notes, prose, poetry, recipes, whatever it is I need to save. This app is a million times better than Evernote, which is bloated and ugly and inefficient. I used Evernote for a year and all the while it was nothing but a hassle. Also, Evernote was painfully slow. The features of this app, however, are very intuitive and efficient. I love that you can group notes together by pinching them together *or* by doing a long press. If you want to ungroup them, but just pinch them apart and voila, out of the group. I could go on and on about the features of this app but there are so many cool and *useful* features that I don't have the time or space to do so. It is free! I would happily pay top dollar for this app but it's FREE. Give it a try, and if you're currently using Evernote and decide you like this app better (you will), there's an option to import all of your Evernote stuff. Definitely well worth it to give this app a try.

So Buggy!. I’ve been using this app for notes for college and it’s pretty great except for all the bugs. Sometimes half of what I’ve written will disappear and I have to rewrite it (this often happens more than once and I write it again and again), it will make the screen freeze, but the biggest problem arose today when suddenly it started crashing, I cannot open the app because a second later it crashes, making it unusable. I’ve tried updating the app, updating my iPad, restarted my iPad like 5 times, I even took the app off and redownloaded it, and nothing has worked. The weird thing is that I can open the app fine on my phone to read notes, but I’m not able to hand write stuff that way. I didn’t want to delete the app in case I lost everything. Please fix this ASAP, I really need to have this work for my classes. Edit: I have been trying to move all my notes over to another app via my phone and not even that will work. It says that it was exported but the only thing that appears is the text description I put. There are also notes where the contents won't load.... this app is starting to reach the end of my patience

Okay so I needed something on my phone to organize things right now, so i was searching through apps and nothing was good, I saw this app and downloaded it to give it a try before i have up. This app is AMAZING!! I give it 5 stars because you can do so much on this app!! It organized everything for me and I feel so much better. I love this app. I highly recommend for people who need to organize things on their phone or ideas they’re thinking about. Finally .... I don’t usually write reviews for apps. Not because I’m lazy though I am but because mom always said if you can’t say something good; don’t say anything at all. I have downloaded and/or paid for >1000 apps. So it’s safe to say that when it comes to productivity/to do apps, I’m the champ. And this app is my prize. It’s simple, straightforward, and conducive to the matter of organization. Imagine that. It doesn’t shove me into a deep dark pit of frustration. It doesn’t bore me to tears. It doesn’t give me a migraine or produce bouts of anxiety from the idea of opening it. Like organizing a spice rack, it makes life simpler because it does what a productivity app is supposed to do. And the random display of thought-provoking quotes and eye-catching art elevates this app, transporting me to a Parisian café (not Au bon pain). Good job.

Beginning to Become Impatient & Annoyed!. Found this featured in the App Store about 2 weeks ago. I’ve been looking for a good ‘fit’ for a note taking app for 5+ years now and I thought this could be “The One.” After submitting a ticket about the issue of iPad (pro) users not being able to upload their own notebook cover images a few days after ‘the big update,’ and getting a monotonous reply (essentially a ‘bare with us we’ll release an update to fix the bugs’), I’m starting to get impatient waiting and may move on to the next note app to try. I then come here and read other people’s suggestions & reviews and am even more dissatisfied...and then my thought process goes like this...”Yes! Font Selections!, Colors!...oh boy a lot of people have lost their stuff...customer service is either absent, non-coherent, or careless in their replies to these poor users. Yes, maybe I should go ahead to the next notes app on my list to try.”

As a person who loses focus easily. I was thrilled to find the app on iPad as I use this app as my main note taking thing on desktop. It is simple to use with just the right amount of customizations. By right amount I mean barely any - only enough to make sure I am able to highlight or bold key elements that I want so that I may focus on the Main task at hand . I get easily distracted with any apps because of the overload of customization or wide screens or lack of dark mode, but with this app I find it much smoother for my writing brain to flow. I am able to keep my notes organized, and I am able to shuffle them if I need it!

“Soho Notebook App Review”. For a while, I had been looking for an app where I could set up notebooks, each for a different topic, because I got tired of having to cram more than one topic onto a file or use several different files for the same note app. When I came across Zoho whole notebook, it was exactly what I was looking for. I’ve been using this app for quite some time now, and it is still my go to app for notetaking. I couldn’t be happier with bothering the computer version and the phone version of it. The fact that it’s free is mine blowing to me because I would pay for the version of the app I am using, but please don’t get any ideas about this (😉). I would recommend this app to anyone. On a sidenote, the customer service department is also excellent. Thank you for making such an outstanding app! Please keep up the outstanding work.

Nice App. This is an update to a previous post. I deleted the original as I believe the problem I was having is with my phone’s 3D Touch. Your help with the problem I was having with this app helped me realize that it’s the problem I have been having with my home screen, and other apps as well. Though your suggestion of changing the pressure sensitivity didn’t work, turning 3D off did and not just for your app, but the others. So, thank you for your help. I have changed my stars to 5. Notebook appears to be a quality app with good customer service which is something difficult to find anymore. So far, I like the way the app is set up. I’m looking forward to trying it out more now that I can use it properly.

Absolute best app of its kind. I’ve been using this app for over two years and have only just begun exploring all of the options available. This app has all of the basics you need from a notes app while adding what would normally be “pro” features on any other app. There are no hidden in-app upgrades. You get all the features from the start. As someone who is constantly trying new apps to jot down all types of notes, I prefer this one every time. I have stopped using iPhone apps like Notes, Reminders, and audio recording because Notebook does all of this in one app and does it better. It also integrates across all my devices; it works well on my iPad 6th gen with Apple Pencil and iPhone, as well as on my Mac with both the downloaded program and the “web clipper” (which is the newest aspect of the app that I have quickly integrated into my online browsing). I am not one to give five stars easily, but this is an exceptional free app with all the capabilities of a paid one.

This is amazing! But it just needs a few more!. I’ve downloaded a bunch of journaling apps and I absolutely love this one for notes too. I love the interface and the organization of it. I like to write down all my thoughts because I don’t have the friends to share them with. Despite the amazing appeal of it, there isn’t much you can do when it comes to writing. You’re not able to change the font of certain areas or highlight anything. I love being able to add audios and be able to draw but when it comes to the scribbling part, you’re making a separate photo rather than actually drawing on the notes that you wrote. What I think would make this app be one of the best note taking apps if they were able to add the ability to highlight text, change fonts, change the color of text, and be able to draw ON the text. It really upsets me that I’m other apps I’m required to pay them even though I can just do the same thing for free on an art program and also do the same exact thing easily for free with a real notebook and some pens, or on google docs we’re able to highlight and change the colors and all that. This addition would especially be helpful for me and many others during the pandemic since most of us are online learners.

Great free app! I use it all the time. I've only had an iPhone for a little while but this is one of the best apps I've tried. I'm still finding out all the useful ways I can use it. I have everything from a grocery check list to all the crazy number of user names and passwords for the internet. I've started saving my favorite recipes and scanning my receipts as well. Every category getting its own notebook. Changing the covers to my own photos makes finding the right notebook quick and it's easy to use. It's a great little organization app. It's more than a basic check list or reminder list like I have used before but even for a beginner, with a little playing around and reading the tips I've found it to do more without having to spend a great deal of time figuring out how it works. You can import your own images for book covers but it would be great if more covers were already in the app for basic categories such as groceries, to do list or journals, just typical things that people are likely to want to create a notebook for. The more I use it the more I find it useful to have.

Undo bug. There is a bug on the ipad version when I press the undo button everything ive ever drawn on the page reappears underneath all my existing work which is extremely frustrating because the only way to undo that is to erase completely and start again. It would also be nice to resize images when you insert them

Some issues. App looks ok but anytime I hit the camera Icon it takes me to a blank screen asking for access to my photos with four options down the bottom of the screen- gallery, photo, document and business card, which don’t do anything, but then I can’t get out of that screen without closing the app. I have another app on my ipad that works similar but better to this one so I’ll stick with it for now.

Bit buggy. The idea is great - love the ability to organise everything. However it’s a bit buggy - VERY slow response time when holding down to paste; sometimes lags when typing and misses letters; and when trying to check boxes in a checklist, half of them won’t register and it just goes to the blinking curser in order to type. Very annoying!!

Best notebook app ever!. I have tried to use Evernote, Bear and OneNote but found them too complicated and hard to use. This app makes my notes amazingly easy to keep up with and enjoyable while doing so. I don’t worry about unknown commands, tricks or tips as this is the most user friendly app ever! Love. Love. What I was looking for!. I have an iPhone so I relied a lot on notes. I got bored and downloaded so many apps but ended up deleting them all after 1 day. This is the only app I have kept and am happy with. It's pretty, it's versatile and very easy to keep organised with it. I hope it continues to change for the better, but so far I have no complaints.

Great, a few suggestions. Great app that works well on desktop and mobile. A few suggestions: - Make things more visually structured in terms of grouped notes (e.g. tabs, or an outline on the side) and be able to open a group of notes together on mobile, not just flick through them - More options for viewing notes, e.g. as a list rather than as cards, making it more hierarchical

Great App. I found myself using the apple notes app more and more and wanted something to help organize all my random lists and so on. This app does the job, it has a nice look. Color coded notes and covers for note groups makes things easy to keep track of. I prefer the design to many other similar apps and it’s also free with no ads. A big plus.

Love it. Since I love taking notes every possible time. This app is amazing - you have so much option to play around with + this app is for free without in-app purchase which is so nice! Only thing what bothers me a bit is, when I accidentally delete text - seems like 'Shake to Undo' doesn’t work on this app. If you could improve this. Users would really appreciate it. This is an absolutely amazing app!. I’ve never been so in love with an app before! It helps me do everything I need to get done, keeping it all safe. You can have multiple ‘books’ at once which makes it so much easier to keep everything organised. Overall this app is amazing and it’s worth trying if you need an app to keep things clean, tidy and organised.

Lacks consistent Apple Pencil support. I love the idea of this, clean simple and and personalised to your own cover images. But I use notes a lot with my Apple Pencil. Using this today ( sketch function ) the link kept dropping out. And I mean dropping out before the end of ever sentence meaning I had to go back in a select the pen and Colour to continue to write every time which is frustrating and just not practical. On iPads use of Apple Pencil is ( or should now be) a basic function. Please fix. kB asryn

It lacks privacy. This app is very good for note taking and work, however there is one problem which is that when you lock a notebook the notes you make would still show up in ALL NOTES what would the point be to lock a notebook it the notes are going to show up anyway, even though they are blur. They should not be shown there as they should stay I. The locked note book.

This app is perfect and has everything I need. This is my favourite note taking app or writing related app over all it has no catch or anything, it’s easy to organise everything and it’s even aesthetically pleasing. It’s easy and fun to use, highly recommend

Best. Been using it for ages and it’s seriously one of the best apps to keep track of all your notes. I have so many note books and notes that I just jot random stuff down every day and every time I watch a video or learn something new or have a creative spell. Free, syncs well, tracks deleted notes, multiple devices, easy to use, simple but enough, looks good.

Best Note-taking App I've ever downloaded. It's the best app to organize my life. I love the format of the boxes colored notes, and I love that I can add pictures, voicenotes and links from different websites! It's so easy on the eyes and really simple to use. I also love that we can customize the covers of the notebooks, gives me alot of creative freedom to play around with the design! I've tried every organizer/note-taking app and none comes close to this one. It's so simple, easy to use, sleek and practical! Love it!

It's become an essential. I bought this app thinking, yeah, looks like it might be useful. After a couple of months it's become indispensable. Love the design, the convenience and the highly visual interface. If only all my apps were as well thought out as this one.

Impressive. I am very impressed with this app. Being able to link pictures etc. is a great feature. I have a cruise notebook which includes screenshots of some documents. All of this syncs to my iPhone from my iPad as well.

Could be better. The Apple Watch app does not seem to function correctly. Always defaults to audio recording rather than dictation. Should be options to change. Starts recording without option too change. In general the Apple Watch interface is buggy

Very functional - one suggestion for reminders…. So far, so good. May consider upgrading if it continues to work for me. Happy to pay for good apps. Just a suggestion on an improvement, if at all possible: there is no obvious function to set multiple reminders (but I may not have discovered it yet!). For example, you use a schedule within a table for taking medicine. You insert the times you need to take each medicine, then you want to set an alert for each time. You want to label each alert with the medicine’s name so that the alert pops up in notifications on your device with the medicine’s name. At the moment the app limits you to one reminder which sits in the bottom task bar, and the alert label is the note title only. This is a very good app though, and by no means should people expect it to be as functional as, say, Word. If you want that kind of function, use Word! Thank you Zoho. Great so far, but still in testing mode. 🙃

Saving my studies. I have tried many apps like this one, however this one easily takes the crown as the best. As a broke student the fact I can use so many features for free is brilliant. The program is easy to use and the covers provided for the notebooks are all beautiful.

Could not be happier!. I've tried many notes apps and usually keep them for about 2 weeks and then delete and am on the search for a new one. However once I found and downloaded this app, it has stayed on my phone. It is amazing and does it's job. Very good for organisation and syncs well in every device I have.

Absolutely my favorite app!!! EDIT.. Now freezes constantly. UPDATE: This app since the iOS updates now freezes constantly and I cannot even access my few years worth of notes!! So stressed!!! Be careful everyone!!!! I have to say... this app is outstanding and I cannot thank the developers enough for creating an app that has actually sorted all of my phone files neatly into folders where I can actually find them.. I now have a lovely library of personally decorated notebooks making my online life so much easier! I don’t think I’ve ever written the following words for an app but PLEASE don’t change a thing and well done!!

I can’t help it!!. So I write a lot of stuff. I originally write a lot on (IOS) Notes and it really takes a lot of my phone storage because of the amount I written. Not to brag or anything but to give you an example, I had written over 150 notes. And being able to move all of that to Zoho changed at things all in a good way! Not only it reduced the GB it was taking up in my storage space, Zoho was able to sync and storage the amount of stuff I written AND still work flawlessly without delay... not ONLY is that amazing but it was a LIFESAVER so thank you so so very much! I like to let you guys know I really appreciate it! Although there are little stuff I like to change, but overall it’s already good enough that I don’t really care or mind it. And as a side note, I really hope in the nearby future you don’t suddenly stop working.

This app is a gem. I am very happy with Notebook. I offers almost all i need. I didn’t give you 5 starts because I would desperately need to highlight in color. I would recommend it to anyone who uses portable devices to take notes and specially to synchronize devices. I enjoy using it every time.

Notes. I like me the app a lot. Especially now that I found it has an iwatch part. Sorting in lists would be a good feature, as would checking on deletions on lists. A private or password for notebooks individually would also be very helpful. Quick response from developers when I had a question. I am looking at some more of your apps now that I see they are available. Keep up the good work.

Good App with very few mishaps. App is great specially when it talks to all your other devices (sync) however, from time to time, I would loose a note, when you put everything on palate/note, you seem to clear it from your head, once a note is lost, it would take some efforts trying to recall exactly what it contained...still more reliable than many similar apps.

Easy to use. Like the idea of different books especially for travel journals. The main reason I downloaded it. Works well and Easy to use. Would like to be able to use my photos sometimes as a book cover especially for travel. Overall very good

best notes app ive tried. zoho notebook has a lot of really good functionality, a good ui and is generally just really pleasant to use. i use my notes for creative writing, journaling, wrangling together creative projects, standard fare notetaking, and about a million other things, and it works really well for pretty much everything i've ever needed a note app for. plus, you can make locked notes, you can store and create lots of different file types in notebooks, and it gives you a lot of room to adjust the aesthetics of your notes in ways that other apps don't take as much note (heh) of, too, which i really appreciate as someone with a thing for visuals. it can be a little buggy on occasion, it slows down a ton when it comes to editing notes with a lot of text and a lot of formatting, and i'm eternally left wishing that grouping notes functioned on mobile, because then i would actually group my notes-- and trust me, i want to, i'm a stickler for meticulous organisation -- but those are really my only complaints. overall, if you're looking for a notes app that isn't the default your device comes with, i'd definitely give zoho a shot.

Critical sync issue. Really annoyed. Notes syncing between Windows 10 & (iphone ios 14) only worked one-way. I opened on my PC, wrote the note then started editing on my phone. I went back to PC and it hadn’t synced. I closed notes App twice on the PC and reopened- still no sync. Then went back to the phone. When I opened on the phone I had no option except to click the “update” and accept the unedited version which was showing from the PC. So basically it reverted and I lost all my changes. This is highly frustrating. Unbelievably bad. Why is there no option to “cancel” or “do-not update”. I lost hours of writing.

Beautiful and functional. I’ve found with notebook apps that you usually get either something that looks amazing but is limited in functionality or something that works very well but looks rather plain. I’m glad I found this one which has everything I need in a notebook app and is also lovely to look at. I like being able to quickly add photos or notes or a checklist to my notebooks and be able to locate them easily.

Something wrong with this app. I downloaded this app so that I could create a list of things we needed for our camping trip as there is nothing worse than leaving something behind. At the beginning the app seemed great.. perfect for what I needed it for, but I almost finished my list then discovered that more than half of my list was missing.. now I have to start all over. I have removed this app now and am currently downloading another one.. I do not recommend this app 👎🏻🤨

Best by far. I have tried all the notebook apps, however this is the only one I would use in the long term future. The ability to paste photos diagrams and other attachments into the notes make this one a real winner. The pros far out weight any cons and the other positive features are too numerous to mention here. At last someone has really delivered an app that I can work with. To the developer well done and thanks. To everyone else, no I am not related in any way to the developer.

Great App, Needs word count. I have been really enjoying using this app for my studies, I love the organisation and options! If there was an option to turn on a word count that would be great, it is annoying have to copy and paste into a word counter. Overall wonderful and customisable app!!

Your thoughts ordered + documented. Having ZOHO notebook as an app and accessed by the chrome extension “Notebook Web Clipper” is a game changer. As someone working on high level ideas and concepts I needed a place to quickly save ideas concepts and information from multiple sources. If I’m only near my phone or mid thought on my desktop. I also needed that to be part of my business work flow. Notebook has quickly become the place to document ideation and have it then be quickly and easily inserted into the next process. Having everything visually cataloged and ordered has really taken that to the next level. I loved apple notes and bear but ZOHO notebook is that concept taken to the next level.

Great tool!. I just love this app and I hope its here for the longterm! I use it for notes on things I am learning, I plan to use it to jot down notes for subjects I love to write on, and I use it for reminding me to do things! The skies the limit! I love the different colours for each note I do and the whole set up is user friendly. Brilliant!

Pretty good and free!. 4stars only due to sometimes it is slow moving the notes around and paring etc (I was pasting large items). Very impressed, great idea, just what I’ve been looking for! Great!. This app couldn’t get better. It’s simple, yet designed beautifully. You can do just about anything in it. From taking photos to writing notes and everything in between. And best of all.... It’s free. But I hope the next update brings more features. All love.

Good app. I do love this app, I love that I can use it on my phone and computer and also organise things into books. The thing that is really annoying me at the moment is that every time I go out of the app it closes the note I was working on then I have to open it again. It should keep the note you are working on open until you close it yourself. Also inside a notebook, if I open a note from a few months ago and then update it, it does not go to the top of the notebook (it used to do this but doesn’t any more for some reason) little things but every time I’ve used the app recently these 2 things have been really frustrating

Almost perfect, please fix something. I like the idea of this Notebook. I have just moved from another note as that one has a lot of limitations. However, I found some bugs here. When I created new Notebooks and cards in PC, they did synced to my phone but not the same way as I did in PC. For example, I have notebook A on my phone and then I created notebook B on Pc with some cards inside notebook B. It showed that all my cards in Notebook B were put in Notebook A in my phone instead. So now my cards in Notebook A and B are all mixed but on my PC they are organised. It does not sync the cover of Notebook B on my phone that I created on Pc, it synced only cards which were put in wrong Notebook (notebook A) in my phone. Please fix this bug then I will give 5 stars.

Not reliable. I've made a couple of checklists in my notebook, but they keep disappearing and reappearing. It's incredibly annoying, so I'm afraid I'll have to look for an alternative app Edit: what I’m talking about is that entire notes are disappearing. They disappeared once before and returned about a day after, but this time, notes that disappeared weeks ago still haven't returned...

Great App. I can’t fault the app at all. I love all the customisations you can do, from creating your own journal covers with your own photos, to editing the background colour and fonts for each journal. It would be an added bonus to change a title to a heading font, but I really have one big request, if possible. I would love to create a journal that has pages, just like an iBook. Where I can write, add my pictures etc, then swipe to the next page. I’ve tried numerous writing, journal, blogging apps. If this app had that feature, I honestly think it would beat all these apps, like an all-in-one app.

Countless issues & doesn't open anymore. When I first got this app it worked perfectly. It was the best notetaking app around. However, recently its been extremely buggy. When crossing out words, the note would delete the cross outs when I opened the note again. The formatting for the notes would mess up when I tried to use checkboxes. Notes would randomly corrupt so they couldn't be opened in the app and only online where I'd have to copy the text to another note. I deleted the app and downloaded in the hopes that it might fix the problem. Now when I try to login to my account it is permanently 'intialising'. I can only access my notes on my PC, which I don't always have access to. Guess I'll have to switch back to Evernote after all.

Absolutely amazing!!. I never write reviews, but for this app I just had to express how great it is. You can do so much for free, and I love all of the personalisation! I use this app for literally everything, from school notes to journaling. It is honestly one of the best note-taking apps on the App Store! Highly recommend, 5 stars! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Lacks some fundamental features. Unfortunately, it’s impossible to keep items WITHIN check lists arranged the way you want. Take shopping lists for example. Once an item is crossed out and then uncrossed, it goes back to the end of the list. So if you have long lists and you want your items ordered in a particular way (ex. Alphabetically) that won’t be possible to achieve, as when items are uncrossed out they won’t return to the place you’d assigned them in your list in the first place and that is incredibly frustrating, unless you have very short lists (in which case that could be done manually, and also in which case why would you need a list at all?). If the idea is to make the user’s life easier with lists that can be used over and over again, not having this feature built in the app is a terrible blunder. The app should include other features such as different ways of ordering items within a check list (alphabetically as mentioned before, but also by priority, etc...). If you’re serious about using check lists, being able to order your items in different ways is a must.

Best free note app. This app has apple pen tilt, pressure and doesn’t have any annoying ‘buy full version’ ads in it. Since I am a student and I’m broke, this is the best app out there. I haven’t tried those fancy $14 apps that are based on writing with the pencil but this one has typing, todo, drawing on PDF or photos, drawing (which I use for handwriting notes), and so much more. Try this app before you invest in something else.

GREAT APP FOR STUDENTS!!!. I am a student myself and I have been using this app for a month now to save and edit my PDFs. I love the fact that it is free and you can write unlimited notes(until the 20GB limit). I recommend this app for everyone that just wants a bit more than apples notes. PS: I would love the fact if there was a widget for your Zia assistant but other than that great app!!!

I use it on my watch and as a quick note journal, to do list, note taker, drawings... , it does so many things I have managed to delete alot of other apps I no longer need. Watch: I use this on my apple watch ⌚️it’s great. One request would be to have the option in settings of either notes or voice recording when you open it on the watch. I rarely voice record but would like to have my favourite notes show when I open it on my watch 😁🌸🌸🌸

Please fix this Devs!! 3 stars cause I cannot actually delete notes. Hey Devs, Hopefully you see this review, but I am having issues with the app regarding to select the notes and to delete it. It says "Sorry, we are unable to download this note" which really sucks cause I was excited and wanted to use this app and now there's like some bug? And I downloaded the app a few days ago too!!! Also, if there was an option where we can select all and delete it notes, that would be super helpful instead of individually deleting things. Overall, very nice layout and looks amazing for notetaking. It's just this one bug on the app that drives me insane. Hopefully it gets resolved cause I really do want to use this app, and access and delete that one note I have. Thanks so much.

Customizable. My fav note app! Can add your own covers to notebooks and customize colors but you can’t change the font style! Please add another two fonts

This app is awesome!!. First of all, you can choose your page colour which I really love because I like to personalize my things. Second of all, you can choose your appearance rather dark of light which isn’t much but it’s hard to find a NOTE app that has this capability. Third of all, you can also create new notebooks at all times and you can choose an image from your gallery to be the cover of it which I again really like because like I said i like to personalize my things. Do not download 5.2 update!. Do not be tempted to download this update! I haven't been able to open a single note. Essentially clicking any note crashes the app. No way around it. I'm not able to access any of my important notes! Horrible quality. Unusable.

I have bought and downloaded pretty much every notebook app. This is the clear winner for a variety of reasons for me: 1. Supports all major OS platforms. 2. Syncs [nearly] perfectly across all platforms instantaneously. 3. Can download notes as PDFs to save offline to back up notes. 4. Works well with Apple Pencil, Surface Pen. Suggestions: PDF upload and editing; better and more options for backup

Your notes are trapped!. There is no export feature so your notes are essentially trapped within their app and cloud storage. In order for notes to be optimally useful, they need to be portable and app-agnostic. Being able to export to PDF would achieve that. Reply to developer’s response: thanks for the tip but it seems exporting to PDF is only possible with text cards. Also, it can only be done for one card at a time, which makes it very tedious if you wish to backup your entire notebook.

Great Little App!. Apple didn’t incorporate their “Notes” app to the watch. Google Keep is chronically featureless. Then there is the abundance of lesser note apps that require premium fees. This one nailed it! Voice notes, quick notes and even checklists that can be sorted. There are a couple features that are glitchy. They work but need a work around to get the watch/iPhone on the same page. It’s perfect. It really is.

Weird pastel layouts, difficult editing. Poor watch support. I started using this app when Evernote started overcharging, and dropped watch support. Imported Evernote docs fine, I think. Notes are all arranged with unrelated covers and pastels. It is unintelligible. Creating and editing notes is harder than it should be. It is hard to place the cursor to paste, and you often delete what you are trying to insert text into. Watch sync is harder than it should be. Checklists sometimes sync properly to the Apple watch (with checkbox) but usually the checkboxes don’t appear on the watch.

I Like. There is an occasional sync conflict which makes it a bit risky to use at times but it hasn’t had a problem in quite some time. Support team always responds in a timely manner. Im impressed with their service. Thank you for creating such a nice app. Finally an app that lets you pick any shade/colour on the colour wheel and lets us arrange the notes in custom order. Its made with keeping the note takers’ preferences in mind. Very smart app. Love it.

Doesn’t save. I use this app mostly for my grocery list because i always forget the pieces of paper i wrote my list on so this way it’s faster but the problem i have with the app is sometimes it doesn’t save everything that i wrote or only will save half the word. It is frustrating but other than that it works fine.

Not good for Apple Watch. You can’t edit pre-existing notes on your Apple Watch, so it’s useless to me if you actually want to write something with your watch.

Love, love, this app. I use it every day. Syncs seamlessly across devices. Works on my phone, iPad and iMac. Great organizing features and I love the interface. Nice to have many options for customization for those of us who are visually oriented. Great job Zoho!

Not as good. Notebook is NOT as good as Evernote. It keeps freezing & editing is slow. Copy & paste don’t work. I paid for the Notebook Pro & it still freezes & is slow. If only Evernote wasn’t so expensive.

Great app. Use for shopping list on iPhone and watch. Works great, there was a glitch on the second last update, and they fixed it in one day……bravo.

I love Notebook. I started using Notebook and dumped everything into it. I soon realized that I could have more than one Notebook. Soon I had 5 Notebooks for sewing, knitting, crocheting, etc. For me this was much easier than trying to remember file names in File manager or whatever is used now. Notebook has made my life much easier when it comes to finding what I’m looking for quickly.

Privacy. You guys look through user content don’t you?

The inspirational notebook. I love this notebook. It is many times better than any other I used before. I love it for certain cool features that make writing easy and an enjoyable experience. First, the ability to create and organize your notes in different notebooks (as creating files and folders on a laptop), the lovely colours assigned to every note or you can assign to your notes. This feature is so lovely that it keeps me inspired and keeps me writing. Second, the search capability so effective lets you find what you’re looking for and it takes you right where you need to be. Third, the info feature which lets you know the number of words or characters you have already written. After, 15,000 words, the note seems slow. So I decide to keep my notes at 10,000 words. After that mark, I just create a new one.

Deletes 90% of my notes not long after writing them!. I’ve been noticing that this notebook deletes 90% of my work when I go back in to it later. Not a good thing as I am writing things down so I don’t forget them plus I am trying to use this for work and share notes with the rest of my team on other Zoho apps in Zoho one. Is there a fix for this or is this not usable?

Worked well for awhile. Used to be really good, but lately the keyboard and buttons at the bottom of the screen have been really glitchy, even after updating. The menus won’t show up properly and keep disappearing.

TERRIBLE! Doesn’t save tasks you write?!. Just downloaded today. Was really excited to use it. Wrote a bunch of tasks. It showed them from the “view all” notes as if they were there, went back into them and they are gone?! Way higher expectations from Zoho and this makes me questions all of the products and the Zoho One suite I have with them. Terrible!

This app it perfect for students on test. So I’ve been struggling with my language class(chinese) for a pretty long time. But that was only until I found this app! It allows me to copy and paste all my chinese handouts from google translate and from ph pictures if I have them. This lets me study right outside the classroom with full access to all my notes. Also because it works with the Apple Watch I can easily see it without having to sneak and try to look at it on my phone😊 it has really been a big help so I just want to say thank you to the developers 🤗

Loving notebook. I love how I can write my feelings and memories on this notebook. Whoever made this app I thank you for making my dreams come true. The thought of how your feeling and you want to write it on real paper you can make tons of mistakes. But digital paper is the way to go. And whoever’s idea was this I think it was a perfect idea. You can totally make someone happy by writing their feelings, memories, thoughts and days on notebook. You can also write on real paper but mistakes happen. So whoever made this app is a experienced and special person and thank you for creating it.

Would Be lost without this app. I never used the notes much which came with my iphone. Then I read about this app and I use it all the time. I have multiple notebooks. One for each person in my house where I keep all different pages of info example clothes sizes for when I am Shopping, medical notes with medication etc. Love having a easy place to collect all the recipes I see on websites, instantgram etc. I even created Seperate “How to” notebooks for iPhone, cleaning, Mac Laptop etc. to save articles etc I want to reference later. But my favorite is when I travel I make a notebook for that trip and record memories and info on what we saw and even copy pictures into the notebook so I remember a special caption I might want for that picture. (After trips I create photo books and include this information) Find being able to customize the front of notebook makes it easy to find.

Sudden subscriptions create sub-par apps. And to. Do it like you did? Where you didn’t add anything really new or different, you just put storage caps on existing users who have been using for years and have so many docs and notes and now all of a sudden because there is a storage cap unless you pay monthly they lost it all? Im really glad I didn’t start using this app yet. Google Keep, the stock iOS notes app, are pretty great for me. Plus the app terabox gives you a free terabyte of cloud storage. I wouldnt trust it with extremely important info or trust it with your life but it’s a free terabyte of cloud storage. So even Microsoft one note or google docs is a better option than this is now. I feel bad for these people that have been using this for years and have given you the rating you have. I hope I see it start to go down and down and down. There should be laws or App Store restrictions about this. Like, sure add subscriptions, but it has to be ON TOP of what you ALREADY GAVE PEOPLE FOR FREE. You shouldn’t just be able to give someone something and then take a certain percentage of it back and be like, you can still keep it if you pay me! Thats literally what ransomware is, and that should be illegal. Shame on you.

Please fix! Only app I use. I love this app and it’s the only one I use but I create A LOT of check lists and it is very inconsistent about letting me delete the checked off items. It will either not give me the option or it does, says they have been deleted but then they are still there causing a bit of visual confusion when scanning quickly through what I need to open. Can you PLEASE fix this so that when all the checked off items have been checked off you can delete them but still keep the note for adding more items later.

Sketch. I wish there was an option to just write on the regular screen of a note. To not have to open up the sketch portion would be nice as I really was hoping to be able to write directly on top of a colored background with my Apple Pencil. The fact that I can only use my Apple Pencil in sketch is irritating. I’d like to be free to actually write wherever I please. Also, my biggest issue is that you can only write so much within the sketch portion. I was under the impression that I would be able to scroll and continue the thought I was writing. Instead, I was cut off and will have to continue to create new sketches in order to get all of my words out. It’s a real bummer. I feel like I’m not able to use this app as I’d like because I can be rather long winded.

I REALLY Wanted To Like This App. I read so many positive reviews about the Zoho Notebook and I was very excited to try it. Unfortunately it has not lived up to all of the hype. I make a change on one device and the change is never reflected on my other devices. From small things like changing a notebook cover to big things like inputting data and making visual changes in the notebook itself. Those changes rarely update from one device to another. I’m constantly getting alerts about problems with syncing or just having the app freeze (this problem in particular is really bad on my laptop). Like I say, I need a dependable digital notebook that will sync between iOS and PC. This does not appear to be the one.

Synching went ok. I gave this a 5 Star because it loads webpages seamlessly on my iPad. I didn’t have any trouble seeing the website. I’ve only done one but so far, great! However, I thought you should know that the app did crash on my phone when I finished signing in. Fortunately, when I reopened the app , it continued synching. I hope to continue feeling this confident about your app so please keep it this way. Don’t delete the cool features and put them on a paid version like Other Note taking developers have done! (Don’t mean to sound so grouchy!) Your app is awesome!

Frustrations Mount with App. I initially had high hopes for this app, and in the beginning, it lived up to my expectations. I had stored a lot of work-related material in it, and the customer support was prompt and reliable. However, things have taken a turn for the worse. There are serious syncing issues, resulting in data loss, and I've had to resort to the version history to retrieve information. Syncing between devices is unreliable, often duplicating content. The Chrome app has ceased to function, and the response time from customer support has become frustratingly long with no resolutions in sight. I'm quite disappointed at this point and regret my decision to purchase a yearly subscription. I now need to figure out how to migrate everything elsewhere. It might be working well for you now, but I assure you, over time, you'll encounter similar issues.

Love it. I’m a huge fan of Notebook. I wrote poetry when the mood arises but also use this to keep any other notes I might need at the time. Picking the journal covers really personalizes the app for each person. Love that. I have one problem, but it could be just my error. I wanted to send an entire journal to a friend to share my writing and can’t seem to find how to send the entire journal to her. There a 60 something individual poems within that journal so I don’t want to send each one, one at a time. Any help from the developer would be great. Other than that. Love the app! Would recommend, and give it 5 stars and 2 thumbs up!

Amazing!!!. I have only been using this app for a few weeks now, and I love it! It’s so easy to use and what I really like is how accessible all my notecards are. I have multiple lists going on at once, and they’re all on 1 screen - So awesome! The graphics are beautiful, so many options & functions that I haven’t even explored yet, but I know I will be using. I don’t know how many of these kinds of apps I have gone through in hopes of helping me stay on track with my life/job. These guys got it right, and this app is definitely a KEEPER!! It’s worth a try and I highly recommend it. Great job on the application directions too!!

Finally, an Evernote alternative!. I have found Notebook to be the best alternative option to Evernote currently available. It appears to have nearly all the same features as Evernote, including Web clipper extension apps for Chrome/Safari—a necessary feature for my workflow. There is also an Evernote migration feature that made the transfer from Evernote to Notebook painless for my 1000+ notes. Caveat: the migration may take days to weeks and is contingent on the data-load being transferred from Evernote. That said, the migration was flawless—all Notebooks and Notes transferred without issue. So far, I am delighted with Notebook and plan to ditch Evernote!

Best Note-Taking App I’ve Ever Had. I’ve used this App for an entire school year instead of using a regular notebook to take notes in class and it helped me a lot! Other apps focus on note-taking with the Apple Pencil, but since I can’t afford to buy one and only have a bluetooth keyboard, I chose this application instead. Not only can I take notes quickly especially since I type faster than I can write, but I can export my notes into PDFs, turning them into instant reviewers for my finals! The customization features are really cute as well, and it’s neat that I can lock some of my notebooks. Will definitely continue using this app for school. :)

Love it!!. I don’t usually write reviews for apps but I love this one enough to make an exception. I have a thing for organization and I appreciate the fact that this app makes that so easy. I make my own covers for each of my notebooks and it’s awesome to just scroll through a bunch of colorful, organized notebooks!! I also love the locking feature. Though I know locking is a possibility in the apple’s notes app, I enjoy being able to lock an entire notebook and not having to worry about locking each individual note inside it. This app truly deserves all 5 stars!

Great for work and organization. I’ve carried a notebook around for 15 years at work. But I won’t do that anymore. This app is everything I could ask for with keeping myself organized. I like to write down the projects I’m working on and then have sub-bullets for each task I need to complete. This app allows me to do that and then transfer everything over to a “completed” notebook so I can reference them later if needed. You can setup your notebooks however you’d like. I highly recommend this app for anyone who carries around a paper notebook and is looking to transition to their mobile device.

Your search is over. I have finally found "the one"! If you are a list- making fanatic this is the app for you. It allows you to keep all your notes in one spot. It also allows access to your photos so you can insert pictures into your notebooks. I originally installed this app on my iPhone many years ago and I have used it everyday since. I have owned multiple devices since and it has worked on all of them. This app allows you to sync all your notes and access them from all your devices. I have been using this app for a very long time and it has only gotten better with every update.

Very Nice So Far - So Good!. I just started to used this app today. I like what I see so far, but a few other features would make it perfect. Maybe more covers that not associated with "Holidays" not everyone associates with them. Also maybe a option to make your own covers. Also I SEEN a app that lets you put other subpages in the existence page or project your working on. I want to work on a Spiritual Project where I can add in addition notes, pages or comments attached in that one project. Also another nice feature would be, that you can stack all current or relative projects or pages associated in the one project your working on, and not necessarily have them in separated pages unless you want that way. A Tree or Tier like feature would be nice. And PDF creator and iCloud connection and email option would be icing on the cake. Other then those suggestions, I do like it so far and will be testing it out further to give an update on app in the future. Thank you developers for making an easy and simple app for others to enjoy.

Very Nice app!!!!! 💕👍🏼. I really like this notebook app! I've tried a bunch of other ones, and this one is definitely the best. One of the best things about it is that you don't have to created an account or spend money to unlock features. Although you can create an account so that you can sync across devices, but it doesn't cost anything. This notebook app is really nice to use, super basic, and has a bunch of different options. Like you can write text, or make checklists, or sketch, or add pictures or documents, or audio clips PLUS you can organize them in customizable notebooks and you can change the note color. Definitely recommend!!!!!!!💗

Excellent except for Apple Watch implemention. So this app does just about everything you can ask of a notes app. It’s easy to use, and well designed, available on all my devices (iOS both iPhone and iPad implementations, MacOS and AppleWatch) and syncs across devices via iCloud. All this for free! My only gripe is that, on the AppleWatch, there are no complications that work with my go to watch faces (utility, modular and infograph modular)on my S4 running 5.1.3. It appears there are/is complications for the app, just haven’t been able use them. I’d love to be able to tap a complication on watch to launch the app. Still, it’s a great app and worth installing. Thanks.

LOVE THIS APP!!!!!. I started using this app not to long ago and it’s the best app ever. Its simple unlike other apps and its easy to use and find an item your looking for. I love the way you can customize almost anything. While I’ve been using this app, I’ve noticed there are no ads to interrupt your typing or drawing. I’ve tried so many apps and there’s not one that’s like this on. You don't have to be a member to get special features, and you don’t have to pay money just to make one or more notes like other apps. I recommend getting this app and I also recommended it to lots of my friends and they enjoy it too!

Improvements from day one! Best notes app!. This app has made nothing but improvements from day one. It’s the best notes app, and a writer at heart, I’ve tried MANY. I used it off and on over the years, and my notes from YEARS ago are still there! I’ve mostly used the free version, but this app has its developers have proved themselves to me at this point. I’ve been paring down other subscriptions because of the economy right now, but when I looked at my free version of this and thought how much I use it I realized I’m willing to spend on it to support it through tough times.

One of the more disappointing productivity apps in recent memory. You would think a note taking app would be fairly self-explanatory with no weird pitfalls or weird habits to get used to or what have you. This app for some reason just seems to hit me and all the wrong areas. Nothing makes sense or seems productive at all, and every time I tried to make myself use it… I couldn’t commit to this because this has a subscription associated with it… Not a one time purchase like normal apps so I couldn’t just go out it willy-nilly. I sat down and had to force myself to try and use and couldn’t do it. I would look at the recent award winner agenda for the Mac and the plethora of other note taking apps on here that are not only easy to use, great to look at but if they cost anything it’s a one time fee.

Bugs make this awful. I was using the handwritten part of the app and pressing the redo button will bring back things you erased but over the current picture and also I press the redo button but everything I made in the picture got deleted and I couldn’t even get it back who’s the idiots that programmed this app i mean how is it that these simple bugs are still in here especially since I deal with them more than once which would most likely mean others would too honestly the only reason I’m even using this app is bescause apples notes won’t even let me in my handwritten notes if that wasn’t happening I wouldn’t even recommend this except if you more color options and that’s it everything else about this is worse than it.

Notebook. It is quite rare I find an application as seamless as this one. With the incorporation of productivity and writing use. This app is top notch. Without the gimmicks of limitations if you purchase something within the app or having to pay for it. This one comes free. Therefore, giving this a 5 star rating which I rarely do. Amazing application all around and the intricate coding that has gone into this application is a must get to have...whether it be for school, work or just something to journal in. This app has it all. From adding attached files and pictures to voice recordings within your notebook. By far the best I have seen free in a long time if not ever.

Hidden Gem. Love this app for all of my basic note needs. Super easy to use, very customizable and offers multi layered privacy via passcode/fingerprint options at app launch, notebook, and individual note levels. Moreover, I can generate a password protected file of a note (maybe a notebook...not sure on that as I haven’t tried) to export. Also tags. Tags are probably the feature that finally pushed me to migrate fully from the built-in Notes app on iPhone. Maybe it’s just me who is late to the party, but I feel like this is a sorely under appreciated notes app. And it’s free.

Laggy + bugs + Sync issue. I’m in the grocery store, I pull out my phone I tap on the app, go to my folder and the app freezes and does not respond. I tap a few more times and finally it opens, I click on my note file I tap the checkbox to checkmark something and it freezes. I tap again on the check box to check something off my list but instead it shows the keyboard as if it thinks I’m trying to type something. Then there’s the sync issues. I have two phones and a laptop and the cross platform sync is not very reliable. I always see different things here and there and I have to figure out which one is out of sync. Please fix these issues and I will change my review but until then I’m switch to Evernote.

Notes keep deleting and disappearing.. I keep losing notes. Sometimes it’s just half of whatever note I had open, and sometimes it’s a few random ones. It’s been happening a lot lately though. Two days ago, half of my grocery list disappeared on me, and when I got to the grocery store I couldn’t find what I had written. Today, I opened the app to check where I had been storing the hours I’ve been working for the past two weeks, and found that all of my notes for the past year were gone. The only ones that were there were 1-2 years old and everything else was gone. Mind you, I use this app daily and even have backup/sync turned on. There’s no reason for this. Do not rely on this app- it’s not trustworthy enough to store things you can’t afford to lose. Very hard lesson learned…

Love it, but... I love this app because it’s perfect to collect all my thoughts for my writing or my guides. However, it is not without its flaws. The good news is that there are updates that usual fix these problems. My problem right now is that I can group note cards together but I can’t remove one from the group very easily. If there is a way, it’s not very apparent. Also, highlighting anything is near to impossible and I’ve seen this in reviews since the app was released which means they STILL haven’t fixed it. Please fix these problems in a future update and this review will change to 5/5!

Amazing!. I dropped a competitors app that rhymes with noodle totes :) this app is so much more appealing and customizable. I also love that I can set a reminder and create folders for each. The only requests I would love to see is the ability to create spreadsheets in notes and also have sub folders so that when you open one notebook you have mini folders inside.. for example if I have a notebook called Recipes, the notebook inside could be: Deserts, Breakfast, Lunch, etc. I would pay for these features! Thanks and keep it up! I learned about this company while I was in Dubai on advertisements around the area and on the flight back on the Emirates airline.

100% love it!!!. I've never written a review for an app but I just had to for this one! This app is 100% free, 100% customizable!!! I can make a notebook for everything I can think of and write as many notes as I want a customize every note to exactly the colors I want them to be and I can customize the covers of the notebooks to be anything I want too!! It's a great way to organize anything you wanna jot down in your phone! I actually find myself taking more notes and going out of my way to find things to take notes on so that I can use the app!!

Love it, but•••. Love the way it navigates & has all the elements I need including pin protection, but is this site secure enough to use password info with the pin #. I would like some of the input from old users or maybe the developers. This is the best I've used so far. This is an update. I have like the way it functions & navigates. I have used it for several months & has work fine till now. Every time I copy or paste it gets jumping around, hopping back to the top, or completely jumps off the page. I have a lot of info on this app I can't afford to lose. It could be a deal breaker. Since I seem to be the only one doing reviews, could you pls correct it. Sorry about my remark about reviews. O went in & seen you had quite a few reviews.

Great, but...... I think that this is a really great app! I used to use google keep, but I saw this and I decided to try it out. The font is good, and I love the journal and customizations you can do with your notes and notebooks. The graphics are nice, and it’s easy to take notes, pictures, and keep documents. The app is really organized and easy to use. One thing I think they should change about the app is that it can be synced with google. A lot of people use google, and I myself used google keep a lot. I had a lot of notes that I would have liked to add to notebook, and it takes a lot of time to recoup the notes from keep to Notebook. Otherwise, this is a really great app that keeps things very organized and easy to see!

Amazing just a little problem. I’ve been using this app for about a month now and everything about the app is amazing. Just one problem I didn’t use the app for a day and when I returned I noticed that some of my notes were missing. I was able to find some by searching their names but not all. I checked the trash just incase I accidentally deleted them but they weren’t there. I’m hoping this problem gets fixed so that it doesn’t happen to others and so that I could if possible get my missing notes back.

So Useful. Best note app in my opinion. It’s good that you can group notes together in books (which have nice illustrations and designs) to make it easier to find them, plus you can also arrange them in any order you want. It’s cool that you can use this app on multiple devices. Another feature it has that I like is that you can change the background color of each note to any color. One more feature I must mention is that you can see revisions of your notes from different times, which is helpful for when you restore your note to the way it was earlier. I recommend the app.

Great support team and feature. I checked many apps to find this one. Being free, access through multiple devices, having passcode, customization and ... were the features i looked for and i found them all in this app. But one of the things which made me love this app is their support team. When i installed it on my iPhone it kept kicking me out of app and i had to log in again. I sent the report to them and honestly hadn’t hope that their answer. But they answered, asked me information, detected the problem and fixed it in the next update. Really great job guys. You are the best

Love it, except one small thing.. This may be my fault, not understanding and what not, but I use Notebook on my iPhone, iPad, and laptop. When I type on my laptop, I use the tab button before each paragraph since I write books. I may spends hours a day typing all prim and perfect, but the second I get on my phone, the work may be there, just not the tabs. I've tried spacing before I type, but it just takes that away when I leave that notecard. The app is perfect, it's just that one thing. It may just be my fault, but I don't really know. The app is wonderful though. It's one of my favorites to work with.

I’m pretty happy so far.. I have to say, I usually read most apps reviews in order to even think about downloading or purchasing any app so that’s why I’m writing this review. That being said, this is a great app so far for recording and writing memos on my watch to iPhone. I don’t know how long it records for but I have for as long as about 10 minutes. I think it may go up to 30 minutes. So far it’s been free and not like them other annoying apps asking to pay monthly subscriptions or just costing $5 and up. Also, it has a short cut button on iWatch face display where can just hit and record which I love. So far so good but I’ll keep updating if things change.

Definitely great app!!. I was looking for an app that I could start a diary and take notes and finally after trying Day One, Microsoft”s, Evernote and even the Apple notes app, this app seems to have what I was looking for and the versatility for more. You can start a journal, change the cover to whichever picture you want, make lists, recordings, make a journal password locked. The best part is there is no monthly or yearly fee!! Evernote and Evernote are too expensive for me to be able to just empty my brain so I can organize my thoughts better.

Top notch notebook app!. I've used lots of different notebook apps - I have pain-related short term memory problems - and especially for local "reminder" notes Notebook is the best. I haven't used the Zia function (not interested in AI assistance), but all the other functions are incredibly intuitive and useful. Notebook also stores a copy of your notes, notebooks, etc. so that with a ZOHO account (the co that makes the app) you can access anything, and backup everything stored in the app. They include useful updates on a frequent basis.

My Note Disappeared. *UPDATE: The company was able to recover the note! They said it was stuck in a notes cache. It took around 1 month from the date I lost it to recover. I worked with two different people who went above and beyond to help me. I’ve updated to 3 stars because they have great customer service. I had a note on here that I was using to earn money. I had edited it over the course of five months and then it suddenly disappeared. It’s been nearly three weeks that I’ve been trying to get their IT to recover it. They keep saying they are working on it. At this point I don’t expect to get it back and I can never remember everything that I wrote.

Used to use Evernote but this changed my life!. I still love Evernote but I have gotten a little bored with it. I needed a way to help get motivated and organized at the same time. I love the fact that you can create different notebooks and custom change the looks for the covers. I have a ton of different projects going on at the same time and this is really helping to stay organized, which I am not normally good at. It’s become a part of my daily routine. I do photography and graphic design and I have a folder for certain things that I have to look up quickly. It is now just apart of my everyday workflow to have it open and to use for my work. I am a visual person so I think that’s why it works so well for me but it’s just a fun and easy way to keep things organized. When I have to open up Evernote and get information from it, it honestly feels like a giant chore and is a little boring. But with this app it doesn’t and it helps keep me inspired because it feels more creative. I recommend this to everyone!

Free and Worth Paying for!. This is better than any other pay app, don't waste your money on some writing app that is useless. The ipad format is designed to transfer to other devices for completion. This app offers great UI and transfer options that are much more seamless and will increase your work flow and allow you to combine and export. Intelligently designed. Use this with brain mapping apps and you will have an amazing experience in your writing. My suggestion is combine this with some sort of Brain Mapping design and charge at least 1.99, it's worth it. Thank you for your hard work. Keep it up!!

DOWNLOAD NOW!. Honestly I’ve tried nearly every organization/notebook app out there and Notebook is by far my fav. It’s straightforward yet also has way more features than any other “free” app (they usually end up charging you at some point anyway ew) Also love that it’s so customizable in appearance, it’s so much more like an actual notebook that way. I use this to organize my thoughts, make to-do lists, grocery lists, save random things I come across browsing online, make reminders of important tasks, save a list of passwords etc etc. There are a ton of useful features. In summary: download this app immediately, especially if you’re a little scatterbrained like myself lol

Deletes notes. I love using this for quick meetings so I don’t have to waste paper. I usually hand write them using the sketching feature which I LOVE. Unfortunately it “deletes” my notes.... more specifically in the note preview screen I see all my notes, but when I click to view/edit, about 80% of them just disappear. If I start editing/adding to it, the old notes don’t appear and they’re also erased from the preview as if they never existed. It must just be a glitch, but I can’t use an app for note taking when it doesn’t keep them saved and accessible. Side note: honestly wish there was more space per note. I haven’t figured out a way where I can scroll down and keep writing if I run out of space. Creating new notes for the same topic/meeting is just annoying and unorganized.

Visually pleasing and nice layout. I have used another excellent file software for years. It has become so complicated with choices I did not need at this stage in my life. I tried Apple notes and it just did not perform to my standards. I tried Zoho Notebooks years ago and it had problems with Apple products. It now seems to work just fine. I transferred 3000 notes I thought from another application. I received notes that I had not been able to find. I have been working off and on relabeling and reorganizing. Which has been so easy. Not once have I lost my place.

needs improvement. Sorting: notebooks after name changes need to be auto sorted. Now need to first close app bf sorting will be applied. Checklist feature is rigid. You might want to make notes or give sub-title to a checklist ie have 2 or more checklist that are under the same checklist for instance: food shopping being a checklist, and you want to have staples as a sub checklist for items like eggs yogurt, milk and recipe checklist for ingredients for a particular recipe. This is not possible and such a problem considering 90% of my checklists need sub lists

If you are a list person, get this app!. I absolutely love this app. I am always making various lists to keep myself and family organized. This makes things even more efficient. Everything is on my phone in one place. The multiple notebooks allow for organization. The various ways to keep “notes” is awesome and doesn’t limit the user. I love the checklist note option because I can also reset it daily, weekly, etc depending on how often I’m using the checklist. There could be more options for notebook covers, however, you can upload any picture you like, which is what I do.

Incredible. This app has so many amazing features. It integrates really well with Siri, it allows for checklists, audio messages, etc. It's very easily visually organized. It manages to includes so many different ways to capture and organize information while maintaining a simple, Beautiful view. Are use many, many accessibility features, and looking at screens is very difficult. Because of this app’s simplicity, it has allowed me to stay organized with so much less screen time.

Clunky user interface. I want to like this app, it’s so organized and has a lot of personality compared to the standard Note app preinstalled on your device. However, something as simple as trying to add a Table into your notes can become quite infuriating, you can’t adjust the size, and if you accidentally added the wrong table say 4x3, getting rid of that accidental insert is almost impossible, I’ve tried to drag over it, it go in front of it and hit delete but it still stays there and is now just an eye sore. Because of these small little over sights, I find it hard to use this as my go to note taking app, and think I will just stick with the standard note app.

Simple and Perfect!. I’ve been using this app for three years, and it’s nearly flawless. It’s so helpful that you can change almost every setting! Dark mode, editorial font, note page color, notebook covers. Totally customizable. I used to use the app exclusively for writing original stories, but now I use the other functions as well. Notebook is simple, straightforward and easy to use. I did have an issue with that when I typed long notes, the screen would snap up and down after I typed every two letters. But, I updated, and the problem seems to be gone! I love the Notebook team! Thank you guys!
