A Real and complete Game. There is nothing in the App Store that compare with this game, very fun, great visuals, engaging enough story, sense of accomplishment when doing the missions. Not Generic and with NO THIEVING IN APP PURCHASES like this other games that you need to keep paying to go through the same repetitive lousy "missions" The 2 dollar price is nothing for what this game offers. Head up games: PLEASE KEEP DOING GAMES LIKE THIS, I wouldn't mind paying a lot more for this quality product.

Great game!. I’m normally in bed by 11/12 and it is now 3:34 lol. I’ve been playing this game non-stop! It’s not like other games. You don’t have to have energy to continue and you have no in app purchases so it’s all off of skill, strategy, and luck if you succeed or not. I love it. Two big thumbs up from me💯💯💯

Good game but keeps crashing. A classic rpg with zombies, a good combination since i love turned based rpg and zombies, but the only problem is it keeps crashing at "day 19" i cant do my mission if it continues crashing... so ill give it a 3*

Turn Based Zombie Fun. I am a couple hours into this game and from someone’s who’s played almost every game on the App Store so far this has been a totally different experience then anything I’ve played. It’s a turn based zombie game with an old school retro vibe to it. There’s a lot of depth in the skill tree here and I can’t wait to delve into the crafting system they got going on. So far it’s an awesome game. Highly recommended picking it up from the App Store. And it’s free. Can’t beat it.

Addictive! I just can't seem to stop playing!. Truly great and simple to play game but beware your choices. You'll have to pay the piper at some point. I find myself looking for the best tactics to handle even the simplest of tasks in this game. Ingeniously thought out.

Great way of telling a story. The characters are alright, but the real point of the game is micromanagement of survivors and resources, along with having pretty pictures to add to the old-school text RPG gameplay

Prob not worth 2.99. An alright game but very much generic in story. Graphics look pretty cheap too.

A game. 4* because it's amazing but not spectacular. Why? Because, I'm sure every IOS user knows what it's like to play a game and the game just shuts off. Well the developer has tried so hard to make this game a survival rogue like that they only allow the game to save itself 1 time at the beginning of each in game day. This is an issue when you spend an hour messing around with survivors managing resources changing equipment sending people on jobs then you go out to an area for a mission or resource collecting only to have the game crash and you lose all that progress. The developer should at the very least add another auto save when you first enter an area for exploration just to prevent the loss of all that time spent before entering. The battles are what you'd expect if you think turn based like final fantasy . Watered down story/decision based post apocalyptic survival in the family of tell tales the walking dead. I tell people this game is the baby of tell tale and square enix. I recommend the game but just be cautious of crashing . It actually doesn't start happening until around day 25ish for whatever reason.

So far so goog. A nice classic style RPG where a large part of it is thinking, and planing, and taking the correct action at the correct time. This is not a run around kill, and collect elite fighters to breeze through the game. Like I said, classic true RPG play, assigning skills, and abilities over time, and thinking about what you do. Before doing it.

When I check it on iPhone I fell in love with this game even more and Its worth the money, even so it’s 2yr old. 2nd Time Buying Fun Classic TBRPG. 1st Time for Mobile. I have to say I’m a fan of some independent game studios. I purchased this for my PS4 and beat it once so far. This game can be short depending on the circumstances and even dying rewards you with points to unlock a few things. What is great about this Turn Base RPG game is the way they handled the Replay Value. They have randomized events to play slightly different each time you start a new game whether you win or loose. Achievements, give you bonus perks to build the protagonist with skills to add when you start again, or unlock character professions to use for your next game if enough points are collected. 6 total endings 3 successful and 3 failed endings, even one where you win in 20 days. Dead Age is built around making sure you survive a certain amount of days, 38 max if I’m correct You may not get all the character in the 1st play through, or you may recruit the same ones at a different days and random event. I really hope they release the 2nd game for mobile and consoles. Give it a try if you like OG Final Fantasy, zombies, and just want to pass the time building your character with new jobs or skills.

OMG! This game is awesome!. When you start playing this have some patience. It took me several play throughs to understand the details of the games but it is worth it. This is not a game you can pick up and play for 10 or 20 minutes then put down. A lot of decisions need to be made about how to allocate your group members and resources and it takes time. Despite how awesome this game is, I have a few recommendations. Allowing saves in mid day would be nice instead of only at the end of the day. Also, please allow saving to the cloud. I currently have a lot of progress on this game saved onto my iPad but I lost all of the data on my laptop just a week ago. If I sync it, I lose my data. Also a request.......please make another game like this, either a zombie themed sequel or a different version perhaps a Mad Max style apocalypse version. I have not finished this game yet but I know I will be sad when I do because I’ll want to keep playing.

Perfect!. Great game made perfect by the last update. No more crashes. Runs fantastically on iPhone 6. Excellent story, skill progression. This game has it all. I'd love to see new features like being able to play as a female main character and some form of online arena or something but that's just be icing on an already excellent cake.

Huh.... Besides taking the whole notebook thing from "rebuild 3", and the very lame fighting from everybody else, there's a huge hole in the middle. Those two things are the whole game. Just feels like there's a lot missing that needs to be in there. It gets incredibly boring, incredibly fast...

Good mechanics. Anyone who thinks there would be fake reviews for a paid game is not the sharpest tool in the shed. So the behind the battle mechanics are great. There is a lot of upgrading, side missions, crafting, and base building to keep me interested for the entirety. The battles are good enough turn based fighting to enjoy. I can see it getting a bit repetitive and sure how long it will peak my interest. Luckily all the other aspects I mentioned keeps me playing. Thanks for the game.

These have to be fake reviews. For a game that is rated 4.8 and me being into the whole zombie genre, I figured I’d love this but it’s terrible . The combat is the same thing over and over and over again , no diversity whatsoever . By the second day , I’ve already lost 2 out of the 4 main characters . It’s also quite confusing with a high learning curve . I wish I could get my money back sadly . There’s so many better games out there then this

Super amazing game. Fun, challenging, touching and intuitive game. It’s hard enough but the game design is great that you can always figure out how to beat it eventually. Love it.

Waaay to hard, even on Casual Mode. Ok, so first of all, I will start off by saying that this game is IMPOSSIBLE to beat. I guarantee that you will die on the second day of playing the game. It was a waste of my money, and I could have spent my $ on something actually worth my time.

Good game, but.... This is an amazing game, but I found that the story can get a tiny bit repetitive. I feel like there could be a tiny bit more work to make every play through truly different, with maybe different characters and different quests, etc.

Honest Review. First off I never write reviews however this one will be the exception. I was hesitant to buy the game at first but I ultimately decided to go for it. I’m glad I did because it’s definitely a quality game. It exceeded I’m expectations by miles and it’s quite apparent the developers put a great deal of effort into making it. I would’ve given 5 stars but that would imply there wasn’t any room for improvements. So 4 stars is essentially the highest rating I would/could ever give a game. I highly recommend pick it up, it’s worth it.

PC to iOS Port?. Had played the PC version. The iOS game plays much like the PC version, but seems easier to play with a touch screen than with a mouse.

Perfect for iPhone. As the title clearly says, this game is perfect for iPhone. No annoying controls, no rushing only to fat-finger it and die, etc. And the resource allocation elements are a welcome addition as well. Combat is pretty basic so far but still thoroughly enjoyable. I wish there were more combat options, though I think there will be as I get higher in level. The permadeath and inability to save aspects are also pretty cool, though I can still “cheat” by closing the game when I’m close to death and restarting the day. Which is maybe a b**** move, but who are you to judge me? You don’t know me, you don’t know where I’ve been. My struggles, my dreams. You don’t know my shameful secrets, like how I once killed a man on accident and then buried him in a wheat field in West Virginia. You don’t...wait. I think I’ve said too much. I mean, HA HA HA! This game is fantastic! Thanks! Ignore that other stuff, I was just rambling. Great game!

Update has stop crashing. I'm a big Zombie guy love state of decay DRTC dead rising etc and I love indie developers seen this and never seen s Zombie RPG before as far as turn based so I bought it. Love it 😍 kinda of hard learning curve as far as the interface but once u get that it's great 👍🏾 multiple endings permanent death all great for a Zombie survival game only complaint should be able to create your own character besides just changing the name making him black a female whatever could immerse u in the story even more. But great game guys can't wait for future updates... Update I'm on day 19 and whenever I go to woods night to take out the bandits camp it shuts off EVERYTIME I really love this game please fix in update had to take it down to 3 stars playing on iPhone 6 Plus with latest update

Tough but fun. If you enjoy games like Wazhack and FTL, you'll probably like this. Update: Replayed multiple times to achieve different endings. Running out of things to do after many hours of enjoyment. Just wish there was more! Hope you make a sequel or other games using this engine!

Needs Improvement. In my opinion, this game has promise, but is not very good as it stands right now. The concept of the game is great, and the graphics are good. The fighting sequences are fine as well. Each day in the game you can only accomplish one task which is very limiting especially when zombies can attack killing your other team members if you're not performing guard duty each day. As it stands, I did not enjoy playing the game, but it does have promise. Some ideas for improving are better explanations of the upgrade point distribution, and each point's effect on the improvement offered (similar to Mass Effect). Allowing duty assignment for each team member would be nice. Some people might enjoy this game as it stands. I would like to provide more specifics on how I think the game good could be improved, but I also want to write a dissertation.

Outstanding. One of the best RPG’s I’ve found on mobile. Only $1; great product. Looking forward to part 2 on PC. I hope that makes it to mobile also.

So far so good.. I tend to like the, "Build, Fortify, and Recruit" against the enemy games. Be they zombies, orcs, or other humans. So far, this game has given me quite a variety of challenges/jobs to do and I like being able to select options other than simple to fight. I want to see how much and how well I can fortify my home base. I want to see how recruitment goes with other survivors. Being new to the game, my only complaint may be explained and reduced with experience. But sometimes the interface seems a little too complex. I am also a "knowledge seeker" and I'd like to see more descriptions on anything and everything i find...its uses, its possible uses(even if that means leaning a "camp" skill to get the extra information). So far I am enjoying myself. We'll see it goes.

Clunky woeful frustrating garbage. Clunky game system and menus Boring combat with poor animation Menu selections won’t work, thus not allowing you to complete certain missions. Had battles where no sprites showed up and the battle just ran automatically (ie invisible sprites with no one fighting no one) - this was in the first 20 or so minutes of playing. Ghastly game that only reminded me the main benefit of buying games on the google play store as you can request a refund if it’s unmitigated garbage like this. A-V-O-I-D!!!

Honestly don’t know why there’s so many good reviews.. First off, after paying for this game I then found out that it’s not even entirely functional, there were a couple bugs were I did not get items when I was supposed to and a few other glitches involving quest. The worst of all was when after dying a couple times all I did was simply delete 1 game where I was not doing great because of the mission I got straight off the bat, and when I wanted to start another game all my permanent upgrades were gone (and I had unlocked all the starter classes). I SERIOUSLY WISH I COULD GET THE LITTLE MONEY I PAID, BACK. Paying anything at all to go through the game’s bs events/encounters and then it just deleting my progression for no reason was not worth it.

Great RPG. I love all of the elements of this game. No bugs, runs smooth and it mixes zombie survival with final fantasy style turn based battle and leveling. A wonderful adventure! If I were to only ask for one update, it would be to add a quick save button in the field. I know this is a ‘rogue-like’ rpg with permadeath, but there are times when I’m out and pop in for a quick game and have to shut down half way through, losing my progress to the last daily save. A quick save should be implemented that allows you to save, shut down, and pick up exactly where you left off. As a quick save, it only saves once, so you’d have to quick save again or reach camp. This would be such a handy feature for those of us on the go all the time that want to pop in and play for a few minutes before getting back to real life. Other than that, really...5 stars all the way. Won’t be putting this title down for a long time.

Great Survival RPG. I was curious enough to purchase this game and I am very pleased that I did! It combines both genres I love (survival and RPG) to offer a wonderful gaming experience that is challenging and engaging. Definitely recommend this game, especially at its very fair price.

A hidden gem. I saw this on toucharcade and decided to take a chance; a good game with a lot of nice touches such as each death allowing you to become stronger towards completing on the next attempt as well as to unlock new jobs and starting equipment. Gameplay is smooth without any lag, and there is some strategy to the combat and survival/resource management

Average game.. Needs to be optimized for the iPhone X.

Survival rpg. UI needs polish.. Turned based combat. Lots of skills and jobs to unlock. Why 3 stars? This isn’t a console platform. You can’t force me into a bunch of wave battles, then if the app has to quit (eg I can’t play through a complete mission in one sitting) I’m stuck back at the start of the day losing 6 battles... You need an auto save and it’s worth 2 stars in this review. If I’m going to pay money for a game I don’t want it wasting my time. Plain and simple. Also the UI needs more work. Even FF would recall you’re last selections and just hit X a couple of times to repeat basic melee attacks. The combat menu is a chore. The multiple menu levels is not necessary. Also it’s super irritating when dialog menu choices are in the same place your finger touches to skip to the next dialog. You end up repeatedly making dialog selections by accident. You know, like giving away supplies by accident when you barely have any.

Boring. It seems sort of boring to me. The combat system doesn't really draw me in and the tutorial was somewhat annoying. The story and most the characters don't really give me a reason to care about them.

Really hard to read on iPhone. This game might be fun on a tablet, but there is a lot of text and a very busy interface, which makes it very hard to play on a phone.

Really good game. Try it if you want true consequences for a bad choice.. First off. This game won’t crash if u have decent WiFi. I say maximum 3 hours or when your phone gets hot. Shut it off. My first time to this game, I died on day 4. “Aw man this games hard.” Now, 10 MILLION tries later... it’s still hard. But I understand it’s a design choice. Like your there. Mr.Macho man McGee with max strength with a critical MIGHT kill a raider in 1 hit but that’s very lucky. Not for the faint of heart. Amazing game but you have to want to TRY if you want to SUCCEED. Not a first time win. Maybe 5th at best.
