Great sequel but needs another patch. Really fun and great port but there is a continuous glitch where only the level props and obstacles are visible and another where ALL the cutscenes flash on and off and moves out of frame

Good game for 99¢. The music is very good and it’s a console quality game. I remember smashing controllers during the Xbox 360 days playing the first game. This is a endless runner spin on the game and is very fun

Fun Gameplay but lots of bugs. Fun and interesting concept for a Meatboy game but there are plenty of bugs where, after death, the screen shifts up or completely disappears and you have to restart the run completely.

Dear Developers,. This games art and music are cinematic at most. The controls are decent (needs an update). The gameplay is surprisingly fun and cutscenes feel like your watching a movie. I have four problems with this game though. One: Randomly while fighting the lil slugger boss, Meat Boy (while spamming punch) will decide to freeze in air killing you. Two: Whenever i boot up the game my screen decides to pull a grandma with laxatives and shake violently like its having a seizure. Three: The stages ground won’t load and it displays an invisible texture causing stages like stage 4 to be impossible. Four: This “game” feels like an IP dump. Feels like they found a generic 2D auto run template off of google and slapped it with the super meat boy brand. As some one who’s been around since the ps vita days, this is madly disappointing to me. Also I’ve been scrolling through the replies and have noticed the review team has not been responsive. I am currently on an IPhone 12 max and currently running iOS 17.1. Please fix these issues and this game will certainly go far.

Fix it please. Sometimes the screen glitches out and then when you go into a level some of the platforms are missing please fix

Bug report. Hello! So I am not sure how to report bugs. In the latest version, with iOS17 update, the game is very glitchy. I have a video of it but nit sure where to send this bug report. Really screws with my eyes the way it is glitchy on the iPhone 13 mini. I have the game updated to the latest version too.

Meh. It’s a good game but the controls are bad and the ground just disappears randomly and the screen looks like it’s having a seizure every time a cut scene play but the music is good

Fix this. I’ve been playing again but one issue the ground isn’t loading pls fix it and it’s kinda annoying

Hard but fun. Been wanting the meat for so long and it’s finally here albeit with a simplified control scheme. I’m not a fan of these controls but they work well here and the gameplay is smooth. Some levels are tough but there is always a way and it’s fun figuring it out no matter god crazy it makes you. Hopefully more content is released because this game deserves it. Maybe even a level editor so we can create our own to share?

Good game needs left and right running. When I’ve been playing the game I’ve been upset that there is no left and right running because I could beat the bosses easier

This isn’t super meat boy…. I thought I was buying a port of the original game…this is just the meat boy IP overtop a crappy auto-runner. I’m highly disappointed

Now a super rant boy game perfect for mobile. Good gameplay. Some minor bugs need to be fixed. For example, the camera will keep moving down when restarting from some checkpoints after dying.

Good game. This game is very good. But i think they should add a mode so you dont have to keep getting out of a level and getting back in for s rank. There should be a mode so if you die it just sends you back to the start and that should give you s rank if you beat it.

Good game but theres a problem. Everytime i get into the game it like glitches but idk why it does that, and the second thing is everytime i play a level the floor disappeared please fix this bug!

Floor won’t load. The floor texture won’t load and it just shows the decorations. At first it was just on file 1, but then it happened to every file, even after deleting them and starting new ones. I hope this gets fixed soon because I can barely figure out what to do, especially on parts that require wall jumping.

What masochist made this. This game is too easy. /s It’s actually harder than playing elden ring with a guitar controller. Thankfully this has controller support else it’d be 1 star. When i beat the first world I’ll give it another star. Best regretful 99c i ever spent.

Stupid meat boy forever!!. This game is kinda fun but almost made me break my iPad. Make sure your ability is to handle your rage against this game.

Amazing game, no music though.. I love the super meat boy games very very much (even if the bosses are not the best) but it really stinks that the music doesn’t work for me, I’ve tried deleting the game and reinstalling it I’ve tried messing with the setting the last thing I tried was turning my phone on and off and nothing worked. Please fix this problem.

Lacks audio for both ears. During the intro and cutscenes audio only appears for the left ear. Also my previous review was removed. Why?

Invisible floor glitch. The game is good but please remove the invisible floor glitch I really hate it plus it makes me think I am going to fall through the floor of levels and boss fights

Great game and port, but needs better controls. The controls of this game is very weird. Most of my deaths are due to the game not registering an input. All I ask for is a toggleable visible controller like in lots of mobile games.

Great but…. The game itself is great, splendid even but the thing i don’t like is how when i go back to the first world to go back and get the pacifiers and, my game only load the traps not the rest of the world so i’m just running on an invisible world.

Why does this glitch happen?. The ground just disappeared when I reset the game, and I would lose all my progress if I deleted the game.

Pretty fun, just one problem.. Im having fun with this game but my only problem with it is that for me, the cutscene audio only plays out of one ear. After the cutscene the rest of the game is fine.

Good game but glitchy warp zone. I haven’t seen anyone else mention this but every time I beat the warp zone it won’t give the character or show that I completed I love the game but It won’t allow me to complete any of the warp zones It NEEDS and update

Super meat boy forever it the best port I ever seen. I like the game because it’s a good touching type. I like how the game works with the touchscreen I thought it was gonna be harder than swiping what it’s typing so that’s good anyways, I like the game. Tell me a good port I just wish they actually port Super Meat Boy 2010 game to be ported into iOS and android. Can you Magine oh yeah it’s also controller compatible oh to do is grab your controller. Such a disappointment. Releasing such a primitive two-tap runner in 2023 isn’t a good idea. It’s beyond doo-doo:(

Bugs and controls. Don't get me wrong, I'm happy this got ported to mobile. It's fun to play, but every now and then, the game bugs out and ruins the experience. I've had cutscene audio playing strictly in my left ear since I booted the game up, I've had cutscenes jitter back and forth to the edges of my screen which becomes very nauseating and hard to look at, and the bug that ruined the game the most was the ground disappearing during The Clinic, making it almost impossible to traverse through unless you have the level completely memorized. Not only that, but the controls become frustrating at times and it becomes a struggle to jump and punch when the time comes. I'd much rather have specified buttons rather than having one side of my phone be multiple moves. Again, I know the game is amazing and deserves its praise, but for now, it's getting 3 stars because of the bugs and controls. If the bugs are fixed and the controls become easier to use, I'll definitely give the game a higher rating.

Great, but could use an update. The game itself is beautiful and fun. I don’t even mind the auto runner mechanic that much. But man, the “two button” control is awful (even for mobile). In a game that requires very specific controls, the touchscreen jumping is too floaty, and 99% of my deaths are due to punching in mid air rather then jumping again. The save points are forgiving, but having precise control would’ve made this game a true sequel.

Great. I cannot hit the second boss though whenever I flip the switch then try to hit him it’s like he’s not even there

I played the console version. It’s a fine game now that it’s on mobile for a reasonable price.

Good for mobile. This game should have launched on mobile. It doesn’t feel like a console game, and definitely didn’t warrant its original price when it originally launched.

Gave it an honest try, but it’s not what I wanted. I’m a huge Binding of Isaac fan, and I remember playing classic meat boy back in the day, so I immediately bought this when I saw it, which I hardly ever do. Upon playing it, I wish I would have watched some gameplay or something. I really despise the auto-run gameplay compared to free movement. Just takes away what I loved about the game completely

The game trying to make me do a complex sequence of jump air dashes and figuring out a saw puzzle was too much. i felt i need more time to get the hang of the mechanics if you love wanting to throw your phone across the room, this is the game for you. if your looking for something to fill 5 minutes and make you feel accomplished, move along

ok as a standalone mobile game but is god awful in comparison to the original. this game controls awfully, normally this would be a little irritating ut for a rage game based on a game with the best controls of any platformer we'd expect better, the randomly generated thing would be neat if it weren't for chunks of levels occasionally being impossible to understand, when I first played I thought I was naming the save and got so confused when I looked for a tutorial. overall, okay game for mobile but is awful in comparison to its predecessor

keeps ejecting me from the game. I jsut paid for this, and it keeps pushing me out of the game to a balck screen , or the home screen very annoying considering i just paid for it! Fix the bugs!

Nope. Part of the charm to Super Meat Boy was the air tight control. This feels to limited and simplistic to be anything other than frustrating.
