Rip Off. I bought the playground bridge constructor after playing the regular game because I wanted to enjoy making bridges. Now I can't move past the the tutorial because I haven't earned enough badges. So what was the point of buying the playground? I paid to build more elaborate bridges and now I have to build basic bridges to earn badges? I want my money back or this restriction removed. It's infuriating that I paid to play, and now I can't!

It's ok but not as unrestricted as advertised.... Fun game and challenging but there are restrictions to it. In order to open up a new world you must complete every bridge under very specific criteria to achieve enough tokens, or whatever, to move on to the next. As others have said the tanker would be nice and so would multiple tankers to test the bridges that are unrestricted. It was $2 and worth the money but not quite what was advertised.

This is a problem!. Too much fun. When I am using this app I feel like I am contributing to society, rather than just diverting my mind.

Great game, but has potential for more. I love this game, but I've always wanted a true sandbox mode ever since the original. A mode with absolutely no limitations. No budget, all materials open, very large open space to work in, being able to choose the base points, and maybe even the option to color the materials or something. That would truly make this the best iOS game of all time for me. For all the rest that it does have, it is amazing. I just am a bit sad that the potential is wasted.

Great learning tool. What can I say. You can work variations on each puzzle and fine tune each design for different results

Best bridge game app I've played. This game has enough of a challenge to keep you just for a few days and gives you a nice rewarding feeling when you complete the tasks. Recommended

What a gem!. Terrific game. Plenty of variety with different bridge styles required to meet each challenge in different ways (under budget, safety margin, limited materials etc.). Very, very good game indeed!

Crashes. Crashes after beating like level 4 on the tutorial island. 99¢ gone I guess 🤦‍♂️

Fun game but too hard.. I'm trying everything I possibly can but nothing seems to work for some of the badges. I don't know if they made it impossible, if there is only one solution, or if I just can't build cheap bridges. But one things for sure you can build separate bridges for each medal in a level.

Remembering my dad.... While it's not that same as real planning, drawing and building real bridges, it's fun to think like an engineer who does! Addictive and fun problem solving. ;)

PURE FUN!!!. But you have to have a constructive mind. Reminds me of building card houses & models from toothpicks as a kid, but now I can stress-test them to see if they really work! Will the cars make it safely across, or plummet to their doom? I don't know, the fun part is trying until you've got it right. Plenty of challenges to extend game playability too. :-)

Great game. This is the best of the bridge building/physics structure type games. Great fun, addicting and challenging. The only thing missing is additional levels or challenges or both!

Good game, but user interface needs work. Addictive game, but the UI stinks. It's really tough sometimes to place an item where you want it and, when you try to remove it, you end up removing other stuff you don't want to remove. -1 for crappy UI.

Needs the tanker truck!. Better than the original overall, but I wish we could use the tanker truck also like the original. The sandbox mode is perfect for that since the tanker is very hard in the original.

We paid! Remove the adds!!!. The program works ok, hoped for more of the same of the original, but I feel robbed, why is it add supported? 2 bucks and still get distractions. 2 stars

Happy fun love. quite simply this is the most important game you could ever play. Not only will bridge constructor playground bring you countless hours of fun, it will also educate you on real world physics, build confidence, alleviate painful boredom, bring you emotional stability, add thousands to your weekly income, and usher in a new age of world peace.

Excellent. This is the free-form bridge building game that I've been looking for! There are challenges and badges, but you can also just go wild and try crazy designs, with only a total number of pieces, not an arbitrary dollar amount, to hold you back.

Great fun. I expected a no-challenge sandbox, but to earn those badges is a LOT of challenge! It's very interesting seeing how different designs act, and what the weak places are. One complaint: your taps/drags register one square higher than you actually touch. Very frustrating--leads to mistakes.

Bridge Fun. Enjoy the game very user friendly and you can build all types once you get through the first go around. The tutorial is also very good

Really?. You really want to rip on the game, and give it a bad review just because you ate really bad at it and can't get to the next level? That's sad that you now hate it because of an update. Just because its called a playground doesn't mean you get all the levels instantly. That would ruin the fun for all the other players who like a challenge. I wish people would stop giving games terrible reviews just because they don't think it's perfect. It stops games from getting the credit they deserve. Please stop killing great games with unfair reviews because you don't like it. Thx! The J-Man.

Potential!!!!!. This game has the ability to be an awesome game but the touch controls are spotty at best and the goals to get some of the badges on the higher levels are very unrealistic. I recommend this game because it is fun and addictive but it's not what it should be. If you as a game developer take any pride in the games you create then you should fix these problems. I will give 5 stars when these are corrected.

Excellent Game. I think that this is a very fun game to play, but I love it for other reasons as well. Let me start from the beginning. I work in an office building in downtown Houston, and like many of you, I love to sit in the bathroom stall and play on my phone. Here is the problem, I am certain they have lined the bathroom walls of my building with lead or some other signal/wifi blocking material. They did this because they know very well that my coworkers and I would much rather sit on the pot and browse Facebook, look up our next vacation, or play games than be sitting at our desks. I love bridge constructor for the fact that I do not need a signal to play it (unlike most good games these days). Before I discovered bridge constructor I had resorted to playing flappy bird during my hiatus' on the porcelain throne. It was only going to be a matter of time before I smashed my phone off of the bathroom wall from the fury that game creates in me...but let's not start into that. Bridge constructor gave me the ability to have fun again while I hide from my job on the pot, like god intended. It is way more fun to sit there and pretend to be an engineer in this game than it is to go out to my desk and be a real one. Now if only trial and error worked so well in my real job...

The wrong challenges. good game, but shouldn't the real bridge challenge be to build bridges with least possible stress (%), rather than least money? isn't that how it is in the real world? Building as cheaply as possible kills all the fun, ... Who wants to build with wood only all the time??

Game Crashes. The game crashes as soon as the trucks get over the bridge. You lose all your progress too. Super annoying and I paid for this…

Cannot move up. I cannot get to the second island for any reason. I have the 40 badges to move on. When I click on the second island, it shows it for a moment then automatically closes on me.

Not Worth It. This game is not worth buying. It was fun, but it was basically some of the same levels over and over again. The amount of levels were also disappointing. I finished the game after only a couple of days. I only spent about an hour of total time. If it was a free game, it would be worth getting it, but with this price tag, you will be disappointed.

Love it!. Better than the $1 version as I can build cool looking bridges that pass the stress test and spend as much as it takes to do it. In the paid version you are budget restricted. Nuff said. I agree. Love it!

Challenging great fun. I have been trying multiple games lately without finding a truly entertaining game that doesn't try the in app purchase crap. I have found this game challenging but loads of fun.

Um...?. Pretty great game, except for the fact that it is utterly impossible to collect all the metals! Seriously, I'm still stuck on the first island simply because its' impossible to get the spending limit badges. No, its' not because the bridges are impossible to spend a certain amount of money on them. Instead, I spend under the limit, as per request of the badge, and I test it, and lo and behold, no badge. Nothing. That's a great smack in the face after so much hard work! Please, please, fix this....

Great Game. Very well done. I think this is the model every builder game should follow. Sand-box aspect allows you to be experimental. Challenges help you learn different things about building bridges.

WAY BETTER THAN THE ORIGINAL. Bridge Constructor Playground lets you go crazy and build whatever bridge you want with whatever materials, and an unlimited budget! Want a challenge? Go for the bridge specific badges. There's always a budget bridge, one constrained by material, and the strongest bridge badges to go for. I love this game and can't stop playing. The paid version is NOT ad supported as some are saying.

Nice, needs some work. This game is fun, but when I’m on Northern Reef it’s hard. I did all the bridges, but when I finish Northern Reef it said for me too get all the medals, so I couldn’t go onto the next one. On the bright side, it’s really fun! I would give it five stars if there was no problem. I SPENT FOUR BUCKS ON THIS GAME AND BRIDGE Constructor! Make it cheaper! Just please make the one change. Thank you.

Fun!. Bridge constructor playground stole quite a few hours from me! I was sucked in to the "just one more" play style. You can complete each level with various materials and it really stretches the old brain muscles! Highly recommended.

Best game I've played on my iPad. Just good fun that keeps you thinking. Great idea, great execution, just a great app. I must have 20 hours into it so far and not only does it still hold my attention but I have yet to find any bugs. A solid team designed and more importantly executed on this product.

Fun, challenging and addictive BUT.... Early levels are fun. But once you master the basics, they include no instructions about the physics of bridge building. Nothing! You can't win more medals without understanding the advanced physics. Also skimped on the scenarios by re-using the same scenes over and over but just changing how far the bridge has to be built. Could be so much better with a little more effort. Still 3 stars for the original concept.

Great game.. Graphics and sound are polished, and the whole thing feels solid. Feels awkward placing materials sometimes, but the zoom helps with precision. Maybe improve the way it handles the vehicles when they take the plunge--a lot of times they'll just try to keep driving. :)

This physics major approves. Fun! Ranges from easy to some extremely challenging ones! But it's also fun to just blow the budget and free build. My Pa says this would have been an endlessly helpful tool in his old engineering courses- and it's amazing it's just a casual little game today.

Bridge Constructor Playground. Very fun and addictive! Engaging and challenging for many age groups, but I wish you could turn on "easy mode" or something to make the physics more forgiving for younger players.

Great gameplay, bad experience. I've purchased both this game and the original. Playground's more permissive structure gives it great replay value as you work on various achievements. Unfortunately, it's not that simple. This game never shuts up, and since it's the umpteenth time it's asked for a rating, I'm taking this opportunity to speak. Its push notifications for other games are annoying, but manageable. What's unforgivable is that you're forced to dismiss a promotion for some other game (presumably by the same studio) almost every time you start a bridge. That's right, a paid app that puts ads in your face. This might be well within normal App Store standards and practices. It might be merely annoying to grown up kids who enjoy the game. What's less certain is that these tactics are appropriate for a game rated 4+.

Would like an option to see a solution. . .. Very engaging - good interface but I experienced some frustration when there doesn't seem to be a solution (I know there is) and you can't get any help.

Great game, but tough to master. This game is very well made. The physics seem to be spot on. There is an awards system that helps keep the replay value high but they are difficult to obtain on higher levels. There are other similar games, but I think this one has the highest level of polish.

Paid version with ads?. Excellent game but ads are a pain also like some build tips can't get a bridge under budget don't know what all the badges mean like the one about materials.

Challenging. Playground version is awesome with 5 challenges per bridge but add a lightbulb suggestion feature like the original. Lose the ads. I paid for this app. Otherwise very engrossing.

Fun and a major help in my understanding of practical physics and engineering.. I really enjoy this game. It teaches as well as entertains. I wish that a little more explanation was available, especially for the underlying physics. Would be an even better teaching tool that way. Great for teaching cost-benefit trade offs. The achievements really push coming up with many creative solutions.

A must. I love puzzle games and this is one of the best. I spent the 2 bucks for the full version. Worth it. If you get really stumped, move on to the next and come back later. You can also google the answers. Do a sequel.

Was good then it was ruined. Was a great game........actually my favorite.........but then they added an update so you have to get a certain amount of medals to get to the different islands........this is supposed to be a playground game and playground games are supposed to use your creativity now I can't even get to t last level.......they turned a great playground game into a puzzle game.......don't buy until they have fixed this

Bridge Construction. I loved the first one it was challenging an addictive.I wanted more out of the first one so I brought this one and they have made it super easy and dead boring. Should've kept the money and materials the same as the original but the new build dot locations are awesome.

I really hope the developers plan to develop another version for 2017 with updated graphics because of how powerful the newest iPhone's and iPads are. I don't give a truck.. Lots of fun. Good replay ability. Going for high scores, achievements or just the coolest bridge make this a blast. Sometimes you just wanna make a ramp and launch trucks into the river.

Why the ads?. We paid for this app and we still get advertisement? It makes the game less appealing. We didn't pay for ads, we just want to enjoy the game. Ridiculous.

Decent. Fun for a bit. It's a shame the Game Center Achievements are so broke and there was clearly little or no QA prior to releasing this game. Hopefully updates come soon as it has a lot of potential

Game is bugged. You cant get the medals. Game is bugged. One amongst many examples. Requirement: build bridge in less than $13,000. No prob, did it. No badge acquired. A simple beta test would of revealed this to the creators but... Hey, all they care about is pushing it out for us to buy. Uninstalled due to yet another greedy creator taking whatever he/she can get from a broken game

Not perfect, but great. The physics are simple and don't simulate real physics. But it does introduce the idea of strength of building materials and structural support. It is challenging and a lot of fun. A puzzle for engineering type minds.

Way to hard to get to the next levels. It's stupid that you need badges to pass because the badges you need is way more than just building a bridge. It takes doing much more with the bridge to get more badges and this turns the game in to a very complicated game.

Not very fun.... This game is alright but very challenging. I'm able to complete the easiest challenges, but most of the others are excessively difficult and just frustrating. I know it's free, but just because a game is free doesn't mean you have to enjoy it. Don't waste your device memory on this.

Good fun game with catches should be a $.99 App. It is a fun adicting game to play to pass time And test logic of building and math skills but the catch is you have to reach a certain amount of coins to continue onto each additional map!

Challenging. This game is good, but challenging, sometimes not in a good sense. I'm told that arches make good bridges, but not given any guidance on how to build an arch bridge that doesn't break the load limit. A small section of sample bridges or building techniques would help users unfamiliar with bridge design.

Helping grandma. I like to think grandma is on her way to give me gifts. I like grandma, so I construct a bridge. But some days I don't, she gives me clothes. So I let her drown in the water.

Understanding structure. Outstanding program to apply basic structural principles. Reasonably accurate and entertaining.
