Good game. I really like this game. I like how you have to buy your supplies before fishing. I don't like that you have to unlock the bigger things. I think more would like this game if you made that possible.

Heater. One thing I don’t like about the game is that you can buy a heater and turn it on and everything but it doesn’t keep you warm only cocoa does so your just wasting money if you buy a heater and propane.

Great game. It is a great game. it is fun but I would like to see an update it has not had an update in forever.

Deals and fish. Their needs to be an update we’re you can choose to talk to the people, because several times a big fish would start coming by, and some guy would come offer me a deal, and it wasn’t even a good deal.

They should add. They need more lakes and fish species and 4-wheeler and new lures and can chat with the people that come up to you

Game I ALWAYS go back to. I’m not sure what it is. Whether it’s the simplicity of the game, or the overall user friendly mechanics, but this game is great! I love listening to all the funny conversations you hear the other fisherman having. Overall great game, and I always recommend it to my buddies!

A great game but I have few suggestions to add. I love the game but there’s a few downsides to it like you have to pay real life money for a good ice auger and shanty but I was thinking if u could update it to where you could choose from if u want to do a 5 day tournament or free play where u have unlimited time and I know it’s a lot to ask for but I was wondering if u could make it to where u could choose the spot u want to go

Good game but I would like this. It’s a good game but I would like it more if there were two game modes, tournament and free fishing. So basically in free fishing you do the same things as you do in the classic game, but it’s not a tournament, and you can go to the bait shop whenever. It’s fine if you can’t do this but I would love it!

It’s a fun game. But I really would like to see a update soon ,because I feel this game could really take off. I love the concept of the game and how it works, with the trades but more locations with different fish would be amazing. Also Ik you have to make money from the items in shop since there are no ads so I understand that. Overall great game all it needs is some updates on better graphics or more stuff.

Fun but needs more. This is a fun game to pass time but it gets boring after playing a few times. It would be nice if you could save your winnings and have better equipment to buy.

AMAZING!. I love this game and have played it on many devices. I just wish the developers would add a new mode along with the current one. Kinda like a career mode, where you keep playing and don’t just stop at 5 days. Also, along with cpus making trades with you, you should be able ti trade with them. This game has so much potential to be awesome. Gaming time is appropriate. The idea of a 5-days fishing span really made the events stand out. Sometimes I get an underwater camera for trading my bluegills or a pike for my cocoa, lol~ Interesting picks of fish species, could add bass, sturgeon, and burbot. But of course, to get a sturgeon, you need tougher lines and bigger augers. $1 to unlock the shop is affordable and fair to keep the dev team going.

Amazing game but…. I love every little detail in this game but there are pike so big that even with the best fishing rod, the line gets broke.

Awesome until you hit 5 days. Once you hit 5 days you lose all your equipment and have to start over.... booooo

Great game. Great game. I lost sound however. No matter how many times I turn the volume up it won’t make any sound at all. I’ve also tried deleting the game and downloading it again and still no luck. Sound aside, really solid game. Honestly the best ice fishing game out there.

It’s a fun game ig. I’m not gonna write a paragraph I’m just gonna say what I think they should update. I know I know it’s been over five years since they updated but still. I think that we should be allowed to offer trades and hold more then 10 cups of cocoa at a time. You shouldn’t have to unlock things to buy them and make the fish-o-peeker less rare.

Great game!!!. This is the best ice fishing game I have played. I just have a few things I would like to see added to the game. Such as trout lake trout,brook trout or rainbows. And maybe a choose between lake to fish. great game would love to see a update. Ps I really like the under water camera

Don’t try and catch a big one. Doesn’t matter if a big fish bites your line breaks and just kind of you can’t get it through the hole with dam I got 38 in pike in a 8 inch hole a ton of times

Excellent!!!!!. I really wish there was a second version of this game to come out! I absolutely love everything about this game I play it over and over again... if the creator reads this please add on to the game or make another better one with more stuff like being able to pick your spot on the lake and being able to fish more instead of dinking around with heaters and stuff! Add a tournament mode to play others high scores... different perks! I love it!!! You are what is great today... I love where your mind was when making this game you think like me!

Fun but.... This game is quite entertaining and a great way to kill some time. Would be awesome if there were more fish lakes tourneys and goodies to play and get. I think this game would do very well if it had more! Really enjoy it though!

Love it. I love almost every part of the game except for the paying for the 12 pound rod and the under water cam are trading is m amazing but for every 20 trades I get 1 good one

Best Game Ever. Ice fishing derby is a tasteful rendition of the hard water fishing world, the midwestern chatter in the background is a perfect touch to give the game atmosphere. Also, the fishing mechanics holds true to the old mantra of “keep it simple stupid!” To often fishing games have over-complicated mechanics that make them difficult or down right impossible to play. Furthermore, I enjoy the competitive aspect of the game. Much like an old arcade classic, my friends and I try to compete for the best score. In short Ice Fishing Derby is a great game, that if nothing else will give you a laugh. However unlikely, I am patiently awaiting waiting the second installment. And just know that I do not think the developers of this game are a few fillets short of a fish fry! Cheers!

Heater. Fun game and kills time. Only part that is bad is the heater. Even in the shanty you enable the propane when it says you are cold and then still says your cold. Other then that fun game

Great game, but needs some improvement. Ice fishing derby is a great game. In fact I love it! There needs to be some changes. One the money you start off with is so little. Two you should be able to buy the magic lure. Three some of the stuff you can’t even buy unless you use actual money. Four the heater doesn’t work at all, but it’s still a good game it just needs some improvements.

Fun for the whole family. I love this game. It helps pass time and is a blast to play competing against others scores. My wife, me, and my kids all have this game now and we have a great time trying to see who can survive the week and who can catch the most and biggest fish. It’s great simple fun for the whole family.

I only have one problem with the game. I really love this game it’s my favorite game but the only thing I don’t like is that you have to restart every 5 days and you can’t get good. Like I wish you could fish for as long as you want and if you wanna do a Derby you can. But that’s a lot to ask for but that would be great if you could.

Love this game. I’m taking the time to write this review to explain how good the game is. It’s an extremely simple concept at this point that actually sums up the game/ sport of ice fishing. You start the game, you’re in the shop, you buy the basics, you fish. It’s really fun. Especially once you start unlocking the big equipment. Haven’t had a problem with this one running. I would absolutely love to see this game get massive! It just needs a few more things. It could use new locations, with different fish. You should be able to scout out locations and save them based on weather conditions. I love the concept of getting paid for every fish. Please please please update the game.

Fun game while on a road trip.. This game is pretty fun, if your in the mood for it. I’ve been playing this game for several years now, and I both like not having updates and not like the game being updated. I wish you could fish on different lakes, for different fish. Like, go out on a lake for trout, and sturgeon. Other than that, the game is great. Thank you ice fishing derby for keeping me entertained for all of these years.🤙

Updates. I really like this game and have had it for some time now. I would love to see some graphic updates and different fish/locations. Me and my brother always compete in this to see who get the biggest. Oh and there should be a mode where you can fish forever and not reset ever 5 day, that would be amazing!!!

Great game but needs some improvements. The game would be better if you don’t have to use real money to get things in the game. It needs more fish like: musky, catfish, largemouth and smallmouth bass, different kinds of trout and some big sturgeon. But overall good game

Great game could be better. This is the best ice fishing game I've played ever but a few things could be changed in a future update such as 1 You should start with the same amount of money and the stuff as the end of the last tournament unless the money is lower than what the starting money is now. 2 it would be great if there could be a table at the end of each day showing you what place in the tournament you are based on the weight of all your fish combined. 3 there should be more items added to the shop (that your able to buy with virtual money) such as chum to lure the fish in speak of lures there should be jigs added and of course more variety of the items that are already in the shop like more rods and reel combos more electronics, baits, heaters, warming solutions etc. 4 the weather shouldn't get worse it come at random. 5 maybe more fish species and different lakes. 6 you should be able to move your character around the lake to a spot of your own choice Thanks in advance 👌

Cool but needs a little more!. Game is decent but needs a little updating. It opened fine for me never had a crash problem. Just needs more content! Different places to fish, different fish, maybe add in reeling in the fish like in other fishing games. Allow people to warm up by moving from spot to spot as well in case they run out of coco. Maybe add a career mode or something like that to where you compete against other computer anglers or even online. Throw in a few updates and you will have a 5 star game!

Fun game. It’s fun and I love it but it would be cool if there was a series of tournaments not just the same one over and over. Better fishing rods to buy because even the “best” rod you snap your line on big fish. All in all fun to play but will likely get bored and stop playing eventually because of the single tournament

Good game!. This is a good game but there are a few flaws. You should get to chose what lake you want to go to. Also, the power auger and fish house should be unlockable by watching ads or something. The heater doesn't do anything, and there should be more lures to choose from. Also the rod and the fish o peeker should be unlocked by watching ads. Overall it's a really fun game, just needs a few fixes.

Broken. Loved playing this game. Sure it could use some tweeking but is still fun to play. So to enhance the game play I paid $1.99 to unlock the store items. Now the app will not open at all. I tried deleting the app and redownloading still nothing.

No end prize. There is no end prize after catching all five species of fish they are liars don’t get this game it’s a waste of time.

FIX THIS. So I was having really good time with this game as were a lot of my friends. But ever since the update, it doesn't work. It loads up and shows the "local IP number" number and that's it. Nothing will load no matter how long it takes. Please fix it.

Awesome game!!. This is a very fun and entertaining game..pretty addicting too. In my opinion, anyone with a love for fishing will love this game! It is very much like going out doing some real ice fishing! Where I live we've had a couple years of sub-par winters that haven't made strong enough ice to do any ice fishing. So I've really been itching to get back out and do some ice fishing. Although it's not real and I'm not actually ice fishing, this has to be the next best thing to doing the real thing! It certainly has helped me scratch that itch. The game runs great and without any problems on the iOS 8.1.2 update!!

Good but could be better. 1) Add real lakes (popular) and be able to pick location on that lake to fish by tapping on that location. 2) more augers and ice houses. 3) able to buy items without having to pay $.99 4) Save your game for ever not just after 5 times going out. 5) Add ability to use tip ups. 6) able to fish for as long as you want. 7) add night time fishing. 8) adjust where ur bait is in water column (able to put bait deeper or shallower) 9) have fish come up off bottom on flasher not from above. 10) add different baits (spoons, jigs , rattle baits , etc 11) better graphics 12) ability to change character 13) different kinds of flashers, cameras, and propane can sizes 14) ability to join tournaments against AI players or maybe even other people 15) communicate with people in game about what baits and depths have been working. 16) ability to walk around and maybe ride snowmobile around like to different spots. (Like the boat in the rapala game)

Great game!! High score 437k. I haven't had any loading issues with the game at all. Ice can't come to Michigan fast enough this year and this app helps me get my fix! I upgraded and got the extras for 4.99. I hated breaking my line on all those huge fish, I had to spend the money. It's probably the best 4.99 I've spent on an app. My highest score was $14,000 before the upgrade and $437,000 after. Catching all those huge pike makes all the difference. I think this is a great game and if you ice fish you will love this game.

Bad game. You always freeze to death before the 5th day ( last day ) of tournament, it's a trick to get you to buy items to keep you playing.
