Some flaws, pretty decent. Pretty good game. Only issues I’ve seen are that when your about to win a hand your partner will steal it from you even if they have lower cards. For instance, if I’m winning a hand with hearts and they are the last to go, they will use their ONLY spades to steal it from me. This has happened multiple times, even when playing with 5 star bots. The 5 star people sometimes feel like 3 star tbh. Also, when we are under 40 points from winning a game, they will bid nil. I think they should be programmed to bid less risky when they are close to winning. I do really like how you can randomize who your partners are and how the games difficulty changes based on who you play with/against. I also like how you can see your stats.

Great game but the ad experience is awful. It’s a good spades game but the amount and duration of ads render it just about unplayable. I used to only get ads at the end of a game now I’m getting them almost every other hand and they are long and annoying. Ads have ruined your game! Update: The ai in this game is bunk. Lacks sound logic and competitors always have the higher card. Sooooo close to being the best spades game on the market, but then you go for a nil and your partner acts like he’s a 3 year old randomly smashing buttons on the keyboard.

Partners. Many times partner cuts the other partner’s book, even though he/she can just pitch off another card and is not at risk of not making their own books.

Frustrating. It seems the East and West players consistently get better cards. Usually several high spades. Especially the East player. Doesn’t matter who you put there. Move that player to North and they go set. (South) seldom gets those cards. My partner bids Nil with high face cards causing us to lose. I lose at Nil with a 5. It seems North and South are programmed to lose. I win on other spade games. I like the basic set up. Just want a fair chance.

By far the best spades game in the App Store. I have played them all. It seems as though the developers can't get the algorithm down for the players to play like a human. This app comes as close as it gets. Bravo!

Computer Partner. I get so tired of my computer partner cheating and playing for the other team. If he or she is my partner, please make sure it works that way. Please fix it or else I am doing permanently with this game.

Very fun game!. No ads!! Except at the end of the game! Only free spades game I’ve found without ads that drive you crazy that pop up all the time! Highly recommend this app! And you can switch avatars to play with😍!

Review. I enjoy each avatar being programmed with a different skill set. You could almost declare them to have personalities. Of course that could be the animation. Now if I could just find one that plays blind nil the way I play it.......seriously, I very much enjoy the interactive capacity of this game.

Finally Bots who can play spades. Choosing players is fun! The bots have different skill levels and seem to represent different strategies of varying degree. Well done.

Enjoyable game. I have enjoyed this game for a long time and, until recently they didn’t bombard you with ads. Now there are ads, quite a few of them in each match. Still less than many other games, but still annoying.

Spades. Very solitude it offers a low stress game. I use it to relax at the end of the day. Very nice relaxing but my partners sometime ughhhhh act like don t know how to play game. Weird because if I throw a low card and they have a high one sometimes they save it till next play and get spades. Crazy

Almost perfect. In my opinion, best spades game for Apple, one thing keeping it from being perfect. Willing to change review to five stars for one small change. Allow an option for card passing on Nil (not just blind nil) bids. Otherwise I love this game.

I loved this game - then it totally messed up!. Best spades game ever - lots of great features - but sometimes the scoring didn’t make sense. Then a blatant scoring screwup - partner and I bid 2 and 4 respectively, made 3 extra tricks but was given a 100 point penalty! Come on - this is a computer program so this type of error should never happen. Boo 😡

Spades. Easy to play. I like the choices available for the other players.

Spades game different ending. Miss the previous announcement of the game winner. All we get is an abrupt exit to a advertisement, followed by a choice of play again or main screen exit

This game plays unfair the opponent knows the cards in your hand.. It’s too many interruption with other games & then it takes too long too get back to spades

Can you fix the major quirks in this game?. I just finished a hand in which I bid ‘nil’ and the dummy partner led a low heart which caused me to go set. A round later, he played a card high enough to cover the card on which I was set and had the king of spades, which he could have led for me to ditch the higher card. This happened on two consecutive hands. How about a fix for this, Unbalanced?

Great waiting room time killer. I’ve had the add free version on 3 phones and a tablet for at least a couple of years. I like that it has some adjustable rules and players ability. It gives one the ability to keep the game interesting.

To Many Ad’s. I really enjoy playing this game, but the constant ads are really annoying! There more than most game I play. Other than the ads the game is fun and challenging.

Spades. I would like you to fix my partner from making a Nil when he has to many face cards in his hand. My partner is also cutting my cards a lot which he should not be doing.

Game only cheats on days that end in Y. Five star partner (pick any) should be rated five turds b/c they get set constantly (twice in one game on nil bids) and when they don’t they take multiple bags. Sadly, this is still the best app for Spades, even though regardless of who you partner with it’s three against one.

3 against 1. I really like the format of this game. But the main downfall of this app is that Spades is supposed to be a partners game. But in this app, you are pretty much on your own. The partner you choose rarely supports you. He/she constantly trumps your tricks. When you bid NIL, your partner does not play cards to protect you. Interesting that your 2 opponents do protect each other. The developers of this app have more work to do to make this a decent game.

Review. Do not like all the commercials. May drop the game and get others without commercials

Computer Brain. I wish there was an option to play live with others. I also wish the CPU players were a little smarter.

It could be better. I’m complaining like a couple of others have done previously. You bid NIL and your partner will throw a low card, knowing that you bid NIL, then turn around and throw a card that could have kept you from picking up a book that just cost a 100 pts. The other players east and west are aware because they throw low cards like you expected of them.

Wishing for Consistency, too.. No one would pair with these AI players in real life. All my partners purposely take tricks after we have our bids, costing us 100 pts a lot. But pair those same players against me, they play better. I go Nil, my partner throws a queen of spades first when the ace is also in their hand. No real player would do that. At least not one that wanted to have partners in the future. 99% of the time I’m offered a Blind Nil, the ace of spades is in my hand. Those odds would never happen in a real life. I see this foolery happening because I utilize the Undo key A LOT. Whole games. To play them differently, see what happens. Learn. I realize I can choose partners with different skill levels and playing styles, but a two star partner plays exactly the same as a four or five star most of the hands. There is no real difference in them. And while one AI partner can be great for a couple games, suddenly they become bad players for no good reason. Can’t get their bids, etc. They are not consistent in their skill level or playing style. For the most part, I enjoy this app. But it’s frustrating when my partner is _clearly_ sabotaging us. Isn’t this game supposed to be fun?

Get In Shape for Serious Spades Competition. This is the game to get you in shape for competition. Why? Because you can undo and replay. An “Undo” button is how you can go back, all the way to the beginning, to figure out your mistakes. I consider this spades game the best available. Been playing spades for over 40 years. (Blind NIL does not work for me on both iPhone and iPad)

The game is okay. I like the benefit of choosing wild duces, big & little joker and setting the rules for no bag penalties. However, the level of competition doesn’t feel very competitive & the AI decision making isn’t logical at times.

Ads. There too many ads

Rats. An earlier version of this game had the ability to set an option to help keep a card track, now gone so having to keep a side account makes this one much less fun. AND partner Mary was the only player that sought to limit bags, now she wants to give you bags it used to be a 5 star game. Not any more

one on three. Sometimes it just feels like I’m playing three on one, but it is fun to play anyway.

William. The cards are set up backwards. There should be an option to switch the other way. Why when I'm already winning a book/trick does my partner take it when they have something lower and insignificant to play? This caused us not to make our bid several times which, in turn, caused a loss of game. I've played with several different partners and this only happens when they play with me. It's very frustrating

Online. I love this game you should do online for people to play real time trust this game will go far

The Spades is Horrible Junk. This card game is Horrible with Horrible updates , took the choice away of customizing your own game ... Scoring system is Horrible -100 points for 1 bag when They placed a 5 bag penalty , so why then deduct 100 points for 1 bag if I didn’t even make 5 bags ? ... Makes absolutely no sense at all ... The Spades is a Cheating card game ... If you’re winning against the game’s opponents then they put all of these false penalties on you so that your high score will go down ... There are Better Spades Card Games ... This is Junk

Fun application.. playing computer avatars that can wink at you!. Have been enjoying using the “Hint” to confirm my bids. Find pro level to be fun change from all the apps where you are playing combo of people and computer. Set it to play to 500 points and get my “fix”..

Nope, go back to the drawing board. Where’s the “No Nil” bids option? Where’s the “Undo” your play option? Where’s the forfeit game option? Where’s the no 10 bag penalty option?Where is the bed aggression option? Where is the nail inclination option? Where are the speech bubbles? Where is the animate avatars option? Where are the snow affects options? Where are the pro mode and speed play options?

Best one out there but still not great. A five star-rated partner should not be grabbing extra tricks to stock up bags for penalties or throwing low cards on aces when playing out a nil bid. (Bill) Rose might be competent. I will try her next. ADDED INFO As of Nov 18 has become unstable or should I say ... "Unbalanced?" On the iphone.

The games seems fixed.. Partner does not play like a partner when they have the right cards. It really makes me angry.

Feedback. This is a challenging and fun game to play. You really have to apply your own strategy to win. This is truly one of the best game apps available.

Has potential. If only your teammate AI was smarter lol. If you call Nil, you can be assured your partner is gonna throw low and mess you up smh. I love how the computer opponents are wise and try to throw low too but man teammate IQ is low. And if you have a lot of bags, the teammate AI has no concept of throwing books to not get sandbags. Opponents know exactly though. This game would be perfect if your teammate played like the opponents . I’ve tried about 5 other teammate profiles and they all have this flaw

Spades Rev. Playing this spades game has made me a much better competitor at our family games. It’s like have a secret weapon.😉🙃

Rating. Great game I truly love it. Some times the magnets cut you out or play against you, your partner. Bid a blind and set you. Can use improvements. But i still love playing almost a five star if wasn’t for what i mention above please fix.

Don’t waste your time. Used to love this game but all the ads have made it unplayable. Those of you thinking about downloading, be aware there is an ad after almost every hand. No longer fun, just an annoying game. Will not let me rate

Not fun anymore. I used to love playing this game. Now out of nowhere you guys have ads that are long to the point I just don’t even want to play anymore. The shiort ads were no problem but this is ridiculous.

brian67capricorn. Game cheats entirely too much. The game should play as if the processor doesn’t know all the cards you have in your hand. Instead, it plays like it knows every card every player has and you are the only one in the dark. That’s not all, the game has shuffled the cards around before during a game. Simply put the game cheats entirely too much. However, even with as bad as it can be it’s still one of the better games to play.

This game cheats. My settings has Blind Nil at 200 points. I won and it only gave me 100 points so I lost. Also as soon as you are about to win it will give the avatars a Nil bid.

Good app!!!!!. I have been playing this app/game for quite sometime. I enjoy it, with minimum ads. There is only one thing I would change. Allow players to change the score limit from 500, to 750, to 1000. This way, if a player had more time to play, they could "up" the score limit i.e., from 500 to 1000. (Or 750 for that matter) Just a suggestion.

Recent update interrupts play with ads. This has always been my favourite spades game until recently when they added 30 sec ads between rounds. Really wrecks it

Read reviews about "partners".. I hesitantly downloaded after reading reviews. The very first game my "solid" partner bid nil. Partner threw off small off-suit cards during several of my trumps but lost nil by holding on to the high cards in my weak suit. Easily winnable, poor AI. Bye y'all.

Fun. Great way to pass time. Wished you could lead with trumps at anytime and also 200 points awarded for bidding 10. Still fun nonetheless.

Does not recognize all partner nils. Fun to play works well except the app does not recognize when another player buds nil

Had to delete due to “prize pending” malware. I’ve played this game on my iPhone for years. Lately I’ve been getting malware pop ups when I play. 😣

Ad after every hand. Had to delete. Cant play anymore. There is a long ad after every hand. I have used it for years. Never this bad

Too Many Ads. This used to be a great app to play Spade’s on but you spend more time watching Ads then actually playing the game now. Don’t waste your time with this app.

Nil. To many Nil bids when player clearly has tricks

Partner over bids. Many times if I bid one trick less than what I can make just to cover my partners over bidding. Although on occasion I myself may overbid but oh well.

Not very good. Rarely gives chance to blind bid. Can go games without the option. Do not recommend.

The Spades. I'm trying to play this game on the iPad and it refuses to allow me to play the card I want to play. I didn't seem to have this problem while playing on my phone. Dumb, dumb, dumb!

Not a game. It’s a platform for advertising. At the end of a game it forces you through multiple long ads. No way around it. Deleting the app now.

Partner doesn’t help. If the game is set up as a partner, why doesn’t the cpu play it like that? If I’m on my own, play it 3 handed! Fix this please!

What happened. I used to love to play this game, but now if you want a hint or undo a play, you have to look at an ad. I don’t mind looking at ads in between hands but not doing in hands.

AI needs help. Just downloaded and played a few games. The cards do not deal fairly. I don't t expect to win every time but to not win at all defeats the purpose of playing. Playing should give you a good feeling when you are done.

Over cut. I would if I already won the book my partner doesn’t win it over me.

Boys can be stupid. Why would my bot partner, with us needing 40 points to win (up by 100) bid nil when it has three spades, including the queen of spades. My ten year old kid would know to bid 1 on that hand!!!

Decent, but flawed logic.. When your partner bids nill, you don't lead the 2 of spades unless there is no other option. Programmed stupidity.

Ad Removal. I paid for add removal the ads are still their. It is such a distraction I wrote Unbalanced they told me it’s an Apple problem not theirs. Waste of time playing a game with continuous ads .Problem not resolved

Ok. I always love playing spades but the logic for some of the players is horrible. Sometimes when they're throwing away after going Nil they throw away a four of when they could have gotten rid of a Q or K

Blind Nil Aces. This game consistently deals an Ace of spades every time I bid blind nil. And I mean every time. It also consistently under bids, three or four points per hand.

Fixes. This game could be so much better if you didn’t have your partner playing against you, you can’t set the computer, but my partner helps the computer set us...the computer always knows wut to play to get your nil messed up...make the game fair...geese!!!

Terrible Ads. Way way too many ads that are very long. Gonna find a new app to use.

To many ads. Ads ads ads after every hand long ads without an exit and others you have to exit twice. You can’t enjoy the game with all the interruptions. REMOVE ALL THE ADS!
