Perfect. This is one of those perfectly realized games...where you almost can't believe it hasn't been done before because the idea works so well. Great game!

So much fun!!!. Love this game, its so much fun, you will easily become addicted! The only negative thing I have to say would be I wish you got more pickaxes when you purchase them for 99cents.. Otherwise this game is fabulous!

Amazing !. One of the best iPhone games I've played , it's worth getting the adventure pack for 5 bucks if you like the game. People will spend 10 bucks on a fast food meal but not 5 on a game that has hours and hours of gameplay. The concept is amazing, the only thing it lacks are online tutorials but everything is possible, I've beaten the game and unlocked all but 2 artifacts

Addicting, fun, a bit buggy. I hope the next upgrade won't cost me any items I've gathered. Having a great time playing it! In new upgrade, my upgraded energy power up no longer works. Only regular version works. Lost a detector in the upgrade.

Fun game that gets too difficult. This is an addictive game at first. The problem is that I can't get past level 50 because it requires too much luck. Be prepared to get one upgrade when you download it because you really need the adventurer pack for the unlimited lives.

Finished. I started this game in 2014 I finished all levels with switches and stars I also have all artifacts! In 2020 !! I would love to play more but it stops at level 81! Devoted player to be continued 🤩

Puzzle to COE. This is a great puzzle game. I would give it 5 stars, except it requires spending real money to complete all challenges of the levels, usually. Maps cost real money etc. other than that it is great

Free lives. To get free lives, go back to your house before level 1. Then break blocks and go down into the earth. Each time you get one life. I found out at about level 70..

Addictive. I love and hate this game. I haven't paid a single penny yet and currently on level 40. It's really addictive and I am finding myself playing this game when I should be working. I can't put it down! It's ridiculous. Just when I think a board is unbeatable I beat it and the next board becomes the new unbeatable. Beware it's addicting! Hopefully I can beat it soon so I quit spending so much time on it

Fun, addictive, time-killing game. Great for when you're sitting on the toilet, waiting in the doctor's office, or any other chance you have to pull out your phone.

Great Game But.... Wow what a great game, challenging, fun, and I love the graphics. However, when you are stuck at a level instead of the game dropping some hints they just prompt you to buy. I have bought for this game, but I wish there was a little help when you are stuck. Currently I am stuck on level 23 and have no idea how to get anywhere without buying an axe, the map doesn't help either! So a helpful hint here and there would be nice. And maybe more moves 20 is just crazy on some levels!

Amazing! More please!. This is one of the cleverest games ever. Lots of fun, incredibly creative. What a stroke of genius to combine match-3 with adventure! I enjoyed the game so much that I paid money for unlimited lives AFTER I completed all the levels--never HAD to spend money at any point. I only wish they'd release the levels after level 80. I want to know: What IS at the center of the Earth?

Needs longer health bar, otherwise GREAT!. there are many things I love which led to my four star rating, though if the following was ever updated in a patch I would quickly upgrade my review to five stars: -please add more one liners because "nobody said this would be easy" gets old fast. -update the three other characters so each has unique strengths. It makes no sense that the robot would need to breathe when underwater (???), while the heroine might be able to jump higher. -in later levels enemies take away two bars of health(!). this makes even the armor upgrade worthless because that only ups your health to four which is not enough; three or four, you still die after just 2 hits! Patch this, please (I said please!) -you should be able to permanently upgrade your health bar. -more combos! How about a combo for restoring one bar of health (not to beat a dead horse; such a limited health bar is a major buzzkill in this game) While this is a long list I really love this game and I hope the question mark area is a hint at many levels to come (I am currently at level 67 with I am guessing just over a dozen levels left!)

Used to be fav game.. This was for the last few weeks the game I most enjoyed playing. The new update has changed things. It eliminated the ability to go back and play levels with chests continuously to get enough money/maps to actually progress. Level 50 is basically impossible with the blocks falling on you, lack of energy available, number of colors, exploding radiation blocks and to top it all off a 5 minute time limit. Not like you need that anyway. Can't live long enough to run out of time. Was the best game but now I can't see myself continuing. Especially if I have to play the early levels 100 times to get enough money for a hard hat and armor that withstand being hit 1 time.

Stunning. This game has beautiful graphics. The gameplay is simple, but the game itself is not. It is in my top five games with awesome music. It can be a very zen game until you get to the ice. It is currently my favorite game for mobile.

Love it!. First app I've ever decided to pay money for, the unlimited lives are worth it. The level of difficulty that grows is fabulous! I can't wait to play this game in my down time! (Don't tell that to my local library!)

Warning!! Have to buy items to pass levels!. I would have rated this game five stars but I became frustrated that when you die you have to start a level over from the start. With that said they offer an option of unlimited lives for $4.99. Guess what, you still die and have to start over. And if you want to continue where you left off...its $.99 to reincarnate yourself. Not sure what the point of me purchasing unlimited lives was. Total rip off, will not spend anymore money on this game and advise against it!!!

Incredible game!. This game is amazing. Out the hundreds of app games I have had over the years, this is probably in my top two because of its creativity and progressively difficult gameplay. I have to give it four stars because I have been waiting for more than a year for an update with new levels that are promised after you beat the game, but have not been added. Please add the levels soon! People have left for war and come back again in the time it is taking to update this app.

Good game except.... I like this game a lot, but feel like there is no way to get past some of the levels without buying bombs or picks. Wish you could find these items in the levels so you would have to keep paying for them.

Money hog. I fell for this game right away. However, as you progress through the levels you have to spend money to keep going. You should be able to collect items as you work your way through. Like bombs, hard hat, etc. I'm on level 33 and refuse to spend another dime. So bye bye.

Keep Level 4 Open. I love this game. It's fun and challenging. It gets much harder as you progress. I never cared for mining gold coins in the early levels but in the later levels I was needing gold. I refuse to pay .99 cents for everything I need so the only way to progress through later levels is to have lots of gold on hand to buy helpful things. After I got stuck at level 25 and my gold supply was dwindling, I realized the need to have mined as much gold as possible in the early levels. Once you complete a level finding both the switch and the gold star, you can no longer mine for gold on this levels. If you don't open the gold star chest on one of the easy levels, you can go back time and time again and mine for easy gold. I left level 4 open just for that reason.

Great game. A very fun and challenging game. Some more info on what different explorers do for you and what each item can be used and for how long. Saved 1000 coins and bought the next explorer, but it acts no different. Still a fun game.

Great Game. Wasn't really expecting the game to be good. But then as soon as I played it I couldn't stop playing it. This is a great game. Everything is good except for how many lives you get but still worth 5 stars.

Fantastic game, but 1 issue... Love this game and would love to give it 5 stars however, I wish they wouldn't limit you to 1-life when not connected to wifi/network. If I'm on a long flight, I only get one life. Then once I die, the 30 minute counter starts... When connected to network, I can store up to 3 lives.

Great game to challenge you and pass the time.. This game is one of my favorites. The design is superb, the graphics are great, the challenge is there... what more can you ask for in a freemium game? You can even get through the entire game without spending any money, which is an amazing thing. Paying for the unlimited lives is worth it just to give the developers some appreciation. The ONLY complaint is that they have never continued the game beyond level 80. Still, the 80 levels are enough to keep you busy. Highly recommend. This is one of my must-have games and I hope they continue to upgrade as necessary when the operating system upgrades.

Puzzling.. This game has great potential. And, it's too hard. I've spent money solving problems and decided it was a trap. Now, at level 39, I don't see how to get through without buying my way out. There doesn't seem to be hints or clues online to help. I'm disappointed that the puzzles seem to require spending money. Sadly, I will probably give up.

Need more lives. Sick of these games giving such a limited amount of play to folks who don't want to pay. I know I'm complaining about something free, but give us more lives. Three lives that recharge in such a long period of time doesn't keep me coming back to play.

Really good, but level 50 is a disaster. Very solid game. Like the challenge, but level 50 is a way to hard. Make it 10 mins minimum. You want us to pay money but it might take $5 + to pass one level ?? F that Will quit playing till it's fixed. Good game for a few weeks though !!

Love it-finished game. Best game I have played on my phone. Totally addicting. Very challenging and of course frustrating. Seriously thought some levels were impossible to get through. But I completed the game. Now what. I got level 80. Is there plans for more?!?!?! Confused about those saying you have to pay to keep going through the more challenging parts. I did not spend any money on this game. I just kept trying. Some levels are ridiculously hard, but it is definitely possible.

This game deserves your money!!. I really enjoy the cave exploration/miner genre of games. I like the "chain similar items" but it can get repetitive. Combine the two genres and you have one of the most amazing games I've ever played on iOS. The graphics are top notch and the music is perfect. The gameplay is challenging and there are plenty of strategies which make you think through your choices as you continue to dig deeper. The tutorials are very well done. The most amazing part is that the game is completely free. The IAP is totally optional and completely not needed. You also aren't harassed about IAP. You wouldn't even know it's there unless you look for it. If you want to make your game a little easier by adding a map then you can pay 99 cents. You can pay $4.99 if you want to get rid of the recharge to play timers. These developers deserve your money and I'm going to buy some IAP because THIS is how you make a freemium game!! EDIT: I've removed a star because it won't stop harassing me about a review even after I've written one.

Outstanding!. This is one of the most addicting and well made portable games I've played in a long time. It's as if Puzzle Quest and Spelunky had a love child. Download and prepare to lose a little time.

Grrr. Such a great concept. But way too early it is apparent that you need to purchase items in order to progress. Instead of a fun puzzle it becomes ‘the only way to out is to send us your money’. I am willing to purchase items if I feel that it is my ‘cheat’ here and there - but seeing that every level grows more and more difficult isn’t worth the cost.

Great game. This is actually my first iPhone game that I enjoy playing so much! I wasn't that interested when my boyfriend installed this game on my phone. I thought it looked boring and what not. I gave it a try since I didn't have anything to do while waiting for a bus. I completed level 1 and I was like you know what this is a very interesting and a challenging game. I can't wait to move onto the highest level!! :)

Avoid. I'm revising my review to AVOID. Up until around level 38 you can play without spending $. Level 50 is impossible whether you spend $ or not. Problem is that up until around level 38 the game is one of the best available which makes you more vulnerable to spend $. However, they totally ruined the game by making the levels too impossible... Especially level 50. You could spend $20 and still not make it through level 50. Rediculous!!! So best advice is avoid the game completely. Elmo8842: go thru maze on right. Flip switch, do maze, get star, retrace steps, open door, enter next room. Now instead of falling down the path, jump up and into maze with switch.

Blatant attempt to steal your money. This would be a fun game except they make it impossible to get any where without buying things. They allow you to get some things with "gold" that you find but it is difficult to get and by level 20, you need to buy 3 bombs just to get to the start to play. Add to that the fact that I think you also have to pay for extended life as well just to start the level. This last update said they made some things easier but, in my opinion, they made matching groups of blocks even farther apart with energy and gold blocks impossible to match even if you find them. Don't waste your time and for sure, don't waste your money!

Great, Original Game. Gets very hard.. Great game with inventive challenges. This will exercise your brain with logic puzzles and pass the time with long, satisfying levels. However, this game gets TOO hard. So hard that I have almost lost the desire to play it after level 39 where blocks keep falling and every move speeds up the fall rate. Gotta make the game easier or improve the power ups.

Great until level 50. Great game, challenging and the background music is just right for each level. With that said, I have given up on this game....making it the level 50 and failing to complete it for over a month, well... Level 50 has "atomic" blocks you cannot get next to as well as falling blocks, a time limit and a lack of energy to be sourced in the game.

Well Designed, But.... In order to get past level 9, it is necessary to make purchases. There is no way past it and there is no way to earn any help. Like Pyramid Solitaire, where I have played the same level over 100 times without being able to progress without paying. I’d like to see a fair game where you pay once, that is based on skill, instead of defeatist games that try and bilk you for money at ever step.

Great game. I love this game & am addict to it but I hate that regenerating lives takes 30 min for 1 life & you only have 3 lives which is annoying. Otherwise this game is really great & it gets more challenging as you progress.

this game is great!. and, unlike some people who clearly lack the skills required to progress, I have found ZERO requirement to purchase anything to progress. I did purchase the unlimited lives, not because i had to to progress but because I love this game and want to support the developers. i do agree more hearts or the ability to match or find blocks to heal would be GREAT, but isnt necessary as you can just AVOID the creatures! takes skill, patience, and planning but is how I made it all the way to the end of what's currently available - which btw, PLEASE MORE LEVELS!!! this game gets hard as you progress, but that just makes it more fun. if the challenge level stayed the same, it would get boring! this is more than a matching game, it's a strategy, puzzle, adventure game and is AWESOME.

One of the Few Games I Continue to Play. Great unique concept, especially for those of us who don't want to have to be fighting enemies at every turn. As far as I can tell, bugs are fixed quickly. Spending money has not been a necessity (level 9 mentioned in other comments was a bug and was fixed soon after I reached that level) for playing the game. The only downside for me is that the levels can be rather long, which means I tend not to choose to play this game if I don't have much time. Being able to Save the game and finish the level later would be helpful, although I would prefer simply having shorter levels. I just started on the timed levels and am not too keen on that idea. Overall, great game that I continue to enjoy playing.

Awesome game. This is a very challenging game! I have become addicted to it!!!! Only thing is wish your lives would generate faster or have a way to get more instead of paying for them also wish there was a way to replenish your hearts like finding some with the blocks???!!!! Also I have had only 1 pick axe and I am on level 19???? Do we get more or do I have to buy them with money why can't I get them with my coins I earn thru out the game!!! Besides that I love it!!!

Another Great Game by Foursaken. I love puzzle games, and the adventure component really puts a twist on the puzzle genre. The game works fine for me and is quite challenging at some points, forcing you to find a way around it, although at some times you feel forced to pay up some money. The game makes you watch your step and plan your moves carefully, lest you lose a life. I've been a Foursaken Fanboy since you released Block fortress back in the day. Keep pumping out awesome games! So excited forH&C2! Keep it up!

Exceptional Customer Service. I was confused about the unlimited lives feature (which should not be confused with unlimited hearts!). Customer service was same-day & very helpful. --- Innovative approach to the crowded match-3 genre. However the cash store is a bit much: .99 for 10 energy is ridiculous. I recommend packaging energy in bundles because as it stands I won't pay that - which means it's pretty tough to get through levels past 7/8. If there was some sort of package or special tool to buy, then I'd consider the purchase.

Puzzle to the center of the earth. It's a 3 Match game with some objects to find. The game is not easy but is not ennoying and you want to success every stage that's you are trying. I have enjoying this game!

Great twist on classic themes.. Well done and highly polished game. Addictive and fun. Free to play. Good job. Very fun and rewarding for the first 30 levels,then it gets a bit ridiculous. Prior to that I made a few in-app purchases for convenience, but now it feels like I need to buy bombs to continue (you can use real money or precious in-game gold). Ice levels really need a rebalance. Level 37 is just maddening. Takes the fun out of it and I'm playing less and less. You got a few bucks from me though, I suppose.

Love it. Oh no, yet another game that requires "lives" to play. I was a bit disappointed until I have discovered the unlimited lives feature which can be purchased for a reasonable price. The idea of another color matching game does sound a little boring and unoriginal but the action/adventure platform aspect added to the game gives it an interesting twist. I was skeptical at first but I don't regret a single bit for trying it anyway. You know those random pop ups in games that ask you to rate the game? I normally dislike those but in this case, it was totally worth exiting in the middle of the game to rate and review it instantly.

Cool idea, but.... I have two problems with the "lives." First, there are too few and they take too long to regenerate. Maybe increase to 5 lives and/or shorten the wait time? Second, there appears to be a glitch with the life timer. If you don't return to the home screen, your lives won't regenerate. Even then, sometimes the counter won't go past 1 life. I also think that the levels become inordinately hard once you reach the mine shaft. For all that, I do really enjoy the game!

bug. I entered the secret door in level 32 and found 3 chests and a hammer. After I quit there's no golden cup show up in the home page. Even no empty space for it.

Best puzzle game I've played until. So this was the best puzzle game I've played to date, or so I thought. It was a blast until traps became a thing. They should remove one health, not all of them. This has ruined the game for me. It was great. Now it isn't fun at all. What a let down.

Completely worth it.. The idea of a puzzle game and an exploration game being combined lead out to be an awesome game! And I am completely recommending you get this app it's just amazing!

Rip off. This was fun until you get down a few levels and find out an opening is blocked and the game makers want you to throw money at them to get out or buy a map or what ever. I work too hard for my money.

fun, but it will cost $4.99 to play. it's free, sure. but you have to wait 30 minutes for one life. unless you pay $5 for unlimited lives. which I did. and I don't mind for a fun game, which this is.

Stole my money. I spent and $.99 to reincarnate myself to finally finish level 50 after doing it about 500 times. You took my money, but nothing happened it just took me straight to the “you died” screen. I’d either like to get my $.99 back or maybe you can just get me out of level 50. I really don’t care, but I don’t like getting ripped off. Thanks.

Good game but it has a bug. So i like how it works and stuff but you should fix the bug where you can't move out of the way when a block falls on you
