Shields are useless. if you have another hero like it here with a shield you can use heroes to do many things like siege towers and have them help you in battle but out of everything even the units don’t have this ability everybody on your side will have a shield well most of them they can’t even use them. Shoes are useless at that point the enemy team knows how to use one handed sword to block shields to block for some reason our team does not possess the knowledge to even lift up the shield to block a singular arrow it ruins strategic planning sometimes even great losses

Deeply flawed. There are some brutal waves that require certain units. The wave I can’t get past covers the field in goblin rifles. They bring down your character in one or two volleys. The easy answer is use anti ranged defenses. The reality is that goblin rifles aren’t counted as ranged by the game. No normal means of handling them work. And you can’t charge into the field to take them on yourself. You’ll get shot down. If you survive long enough, you end up inundated with spiders. Your character CANNOT survive outside the walls at this point. Then they drop rocketeers. Frickin brilliant. This isn’t the only wave that’s this bad. A lot of waves feel like a dev said, "You know what would be really frickin unfair?" And then did it. That combined with some coding bugs and always overpriced units make the main waves a slog that hangs over you head all the time. This game can be really fun, but the levels are so cruelly designed it simply becomes exhausting at times. PLEASE REWORK IT.

Amazing game for the mobile. This game is a very very fun game I enjoyed this game when I was young and had endless hours of fun but then I got a gaming pc and stopped playing my phone but then I remembered this game and thought of how amazing it would be if u could make a heroes and castles 3 and put it on pc and console with remastered graphics and 60 FPS I would pay big money for that u should consider it

Can we just customize our own armors and weapons please!. I’ve been playing this games for years and if there’s one thing that I don’t like is that you can’t customize your armor or clothes. Your stuck with the randomized armor set/ weapons they give you and I’d wish they changed that. I’d like to make my heroes be in uniform, it looks cool when they are.

Hallelujah 🥳. The first H&C was decent. But this one is amazing. Smooth easy to use controls and game play. The graphics are easy on the eyes and look really good and the overall set up of th enamel is amazing. How ever maybe add a few more choices for your hero other than dwarf, elf, and human. And maybe add more skills to. Other than that it’s amazing.

This game is amazing especially for a free to play. I have to say this game is amazing some people are driven away because of the darkness of the screen and the not so good graphics. But this game makes up for it in how good the gameplay is you get into it and it’s essentially a 3rd person tower defense. You build your army to counter the enemy like you would in a Rock Paper Scissors format. But it’s not just Calvert beat infantry it’s each unit has about 3-4 ideal counters then a handful do well and the rest don’t do well against the unit. If you just play this game you will find that it is one of the unique games you will play and is done better than a paid version that I’ve seen like this I hope the developers will update or make a heroes and castles 3 but I know it’s not likely.

Great game but could use an update. Awesome game that I’ve been playing for a while now. To all of you who are saying it is too hard, I have completed every level without paying a single cent. Keep using different combinations of troops and you’ll win! Anyway, on to the updates. I would love to see a little more color. It’s all dark and dismal, and could use a little brightening. Also, maybe new battlefields? There are 4 varieties, and they are all varying sized rectangles. Maybe add circular, triangular, and different-shaped ones. Another thing: this game could take off again if it included a more complex main character. Let the player pick up items on the battlefield during battles, make the castle more elaborate. I would love to be let into the castle and wander around. Also, the characters always have the same fight pattern. Maybe give more swing methods to different species of heroes. Great game still, and definitely worth a try!

Waves. It’s a pretty good and easy game until you get to wave 4 it feels like I’m facing the Demon lord on max difficulty your guys do like 1 dmg and all of the ai are basically tanks to them I don’t get why I have 10 soldiers fighting 1 skeleton in the corner for 10 minutes like it’s a boss battle for them. then I have to wait 30 seconds to spawn a group of useless soldiers while the enemy spawns 10 skeletons and an archer the second you kill one guy god forbid you let more than 2 archers stand on the battlefield because they’ll kill you the second you stop your feet to fight it’s like they shoot in order so there’s constantly an arrow hitting you.

Bulletproof Biceps. Fantastical game. Both 1 and 2 were really entertaining games. This one at first, is really challenging, but once you learn that this game focuses more on defending with ur troops versus ur hero, that’s how it differs from number one, then you’ll start to get the hang of it. The elves and horse riders in my opinion are absolutely sick. The graphics are lot better too. Now I’m just waiting for a third game cmon developers, I WANT A THIRD

Great game but few things you could fix. I love this game it’s one of kind but graphics outdated, multiplayer not working, and the adds for some reason don’t want to play like if it just me but on my account the add refuse to play meaning I can’t get any of the extra loot so all of these thing if you fix them you’d have one of the best games free games on the App Store.

Great character development. Huge replay value (especially since its free). You customize different character classes from different races to give unique abilities in the fight. What I found to work for advanced levels included the knights juggernaut, paladins heal and holy shield, With mage arcane magic and high mana level. Surround yourself with cheap soldiers, make them invincible with holy shield, refill your Nana with the arcane magic by Draining some of their life, heal them with paladins heal, Make yourself invincible with Juggernaut. Repeat. Add some high damage dealing and magic dealing units to the mix, and it will carry you pretty much through the entire game. Only downside to this strategy is you have to have a high level Character to get all the skills. But once you do, you roll easy.

Great game, a lot of bugs due to lack of updates. This is honestly a great game in general, and it has a unique idea behind it, however due to Lack of updates multiple bugs have been popping up, for example I have not been able to get any items from the videos when joining / from the blacksmith.. Still believe the game itself is great though..

Amazing under appreciated game. First off I’d like to say this is a great sequel to the first game and both had their own unique game play styles. Sadly this game isn’t very well known for what it is and multiplayer is all but dead. Other than that would highly recommend trying out both games.

SO MUCH NOSTALGIA. I have been playing this game and multiple others from this developer. So far every single one of them was amazing. If they had more funding I swear these games could be hits. The only thing I wish was if some of the early waves were easier. Some of them go from relatively easy and then the next wave is 100x harder. Other than that this game is overall amazing and I will support this team forever.

Overall, good. I’m not going to lie, this has been a very fun game. I’ve been playing for a while now, but there are, with this and every game, some flaws. First of all, in the settings, the only way to turn off the sound of the voice that provides information is by turning all sound off aside from music. His nagging voice every time something happens gets to me, but I like playing with sound on, so that’s one thing. There is also the endless waves of undead. They always attack your castle, and I understand that they are supposed to resemble an unrelenting enemy, but attacking your castle every few minutes (well, days) is really excessive. Not to mention, you only have a few days before you are forced to defend your castle. I don’t have a problem with a time limit to get things done, but the most I’ve seen is 3 days to defend on a castles whereas your outposts give you up to 10 days. Speaking of outposts, the undead can somehow attack anywhere. Logically, if you have a boundary between your territory and your enemy’s territory, your enemy would have to cross your boundary to attack, so they are limited to the outlying outposts, but in this game, the undead ignore boundaries altogether and appear where they please.

Premium version is 5 star. I was headed here a few days ago to write a negative review about the error and never receiving loot when found which is linked to the ad system that is no longer functioning then I saw the premium for 1.99 version. No ads and lots of extra loot which can be sold or used for diamonds makes it a pretty fun game. I’m about half way thru and some waves are very hard but there always other lands to capture in between waves to acquire more xp and loot/diamonds. This version is broken and I wouldn’t spend money on it. If you enjoy it on here you’ll like the premium version a lot better.

Overall. I love the game it’s just when you get a higher level xp is harder to earn and I get that that is supposed to happen but it got to hard to earn xp like if you could tell me how xp is awarded that would be nice or something because I battled for a solid 20m and got almost nothing out of it but I do love playing and when attacking an outpost I don’t think creatures should be allowed to spawn wherever they want since my characters can’t do that unless summoning dryads but that’s similar to what Necromancers do so they makes it even but other enemies should have to spawn in the outpost. Also the number of large characters on the enemy compares to what you have is pretty pathetic. I understand however the difficulty of making a game as complex as this so I’m not mad about it it’s just something to think about. And weaker units should cost less weaker meaning low hp.

Gold nugget. I will say right that this game isn't perfect, I know it has flaws, but let me tell you this game is not money hungry like almost every other game on the App Store. I honestly hate most of the games the App Store provides, but this is a great exception. I will not lie you can buy more currency, but there is no true in game currency that you HAVE to buy and this game is really fun even if on the hard side. You want a great game that doesn't take everything you own, well here you go.

Mixed feelings. Before I start, I think this game is very fun and has a lot going for it. However there are some problems for me. The biggest one is that I am not able to collect any of the equipment that I find from battles so I am limited to the blacksmith. Even if the equipment is not very good quality, I still love want to be able to sell it for 1-2 crystals so that I can upgrade my castle. I think that this is a bug that seriously needs to be fixed.

I have an idea!. Okay you know how you can get a bow and everything right? Good, I think it would be cool if they made multiple themes for a game with the same concept like for example the American military VS oh I don't know like how about some zombies or bad guys of some sort. And maybe the Romans fighting Greeks or something But an FPS in this game style I would love and this game I've played from the beginning ever since it came out in the first version. It's great, definitely a new kind of defense game. (Edit) Well it's been a year and my opinion hasn't changed one bit but the game just needs some bug fixes and we're all good! Also the game is hard by nature even the easy mode is hard but that's what makes the game worthwhile. Also be sure to check out Nobleman 1896 it's another great game by the awesome devs at Foursaken Media! (Edit 2) For some reason the game seems darker than usual. Some places in the game world which were detailed seem lack luster in color and shine. The detail of the enemies is a lot worse and the overall look of the game has gone down. Devs I need help here can you guys fix this?

Hero’s And Castles. This is an Excellent game if you like medieval games. However, I would like to have the option to control the villain’s side too. Wouldn’t it be awesome to have the option to send out orc units?! Or be able to control the undead units and wraiths?! I would love the be an undead hero like the one in siege from the first hero’s and castles app game. It’s just a thought creator.😁😁

Good, but needs work.. When I started this game I was really impressed with the graphics and gameplay. I like the unit system in the number of units you can have I also like the different classes times along with the different weapons that each class has. I like the campaign and the skirmish mode. But the thing I do not like and I mean do not like is when you die with a class that is not your standard beginning lowdown you cannot use that class again for a whole hour. I think that is dumb. Just because I am enjoying the game and happen to die once means that I cannot use any separate load out for a whole hour and less I spent Gold. If they could fix this to wear just because you die does not mean you cannot play exciting class this game would be almost perfect.

Ad problem. Love the game. It’s really fun to play and I like the concept. Also very smooth. But when it tells me a piece of equipments been found and do I want it when I click yes it takes me to an add which is fine. But the ad is a dominations add and it just sits there no video just a background of it a play button (which does nothing) and a mute and unmute button (which also does nothing). Only way to fix it is to leave the game and start it back up again. Which isn’t all too horrible but I can’t get the equipment now. Please fix this.

Feels unbalanced and underdeveloped. On normal the game feels too hard. The game isn’t hard in the same way dark souls is, where you can get better at the game and your skill determines whether you win or lose. The game just feels like it throws too many enemies at you who die too slowly and kill you too quickly. The blocking mechanic also feels useless and character movement is unpleasantly inefficient. If you do play I’d suggest switching over to easy mode after you take the first outpost.

Not bad. Like the title says “not bad”, not exactly a good game but not bad. It’s fun and exciting but it’s a pay to win game. There are waves in this game where even if you use the proper troops you keep losing...its to the point where you need to buy in hand currency so you can basically pass a level. Graphics are good, gameplay is awesome. But until the game fixes the wave system, I’m done. Deleted the game because I couldn’t stand it anymore. The first one was amazing, this one just isn’t the same feel.

Great game but need help. I keep getting a glitch because every time I’m given the option to collect a free piece of equipment from the blacksmith or from when I login. It says, “An unknown error has occurred. Try again later” I’ve tried restarting my phone, updating my iCloud storage, uninstalling and reinstalling the app, etc. Still getting the problem. The rest of the game is fun and it has really good graphics.

H & C was better.. In this game, there are no building that can sit behind walls somewhat protected. Your bannerman get slaughtered because they are basically dark cultists without a shield. Lost the move stick, and you can't attack while running or moving for that matter. Only 3 races for as far as I've gotten? Only three classes? Not very much versatility there. No siege? Not very easy to run on older devices, I'd love to upgrade my hardware but I don't want to spend more than 600$. Also, no free way to get more content? In H & C, you just had to accumulate 30-35 crystals for new heroes, in the free version of this game, there is only three classes and races. Not much versatility as I mentioned earlier. Dwarven firing squad strategy sadly doesn't work because of fragile bannerman. At least make it so bannerman have invulnerability while a certain condition is met. Loved gold and the Midas achievement, gave me a good laugh.

I want to love it more. It’s a great game I’ve put hours and hours into this little game but it gets to the point where you just can’t get through unless you buy crystals to upgrade everyone. Like the siege I’m on is of the city so I can just go around it and it’s orc after orc after orc and I just can’t do anything about it I try I try try different tactics but nothing and I’ve even bought crystals to try to get past it. No. It doesent work

Completely unfair. Good game overall IF we can advance past waves on our main castle and defend our outposts. It’s just endless waves of impenetrable skeleton knights who have 2x100 more health than our strongest units and you can barely get past halfway when they start pushing you back to your gates. The enemy has every advantage we don’t have with sending the strongest units every second while we wait about 30sec for a not so counter unit which is really an unfair difference soon after you begin the game your just crushed and can do nothing about it. It seems the only way to have even a slight advantage is to use real money for crystals, which would seem not to help much I would think. Its a good game but all this impossible disadvantage just ruins it, it’s only fun for a little while (about +-10 hours), my thought, not worth the storage use and money.

Huge shoutout. It’s hard to find good mobile games to play offline and by far this game and the 1st one are great games by far offline and online! I appreciate you guys for making the games and all the hard work put into it! I played the first game like 6 years ago and I still play it until this day. Wished this game could have got the love and money it deserved because it was a masterpiece

Pretty Good. This is almost a completely different game than Heroes and Castles 1. You might like this more than H&C1 depending on what you were hoping for out of a hack and slash defender like this. You still command an army of troops (which is actually awesome) and the graphics are pretty good (if your processor can handle it), but what’s shocking is that there is no main menu/selection screens unlike most games. There’s a map screen, but everything else is pure gameplay. I love that in this game you can take over enemy territories (and eventually enemy outposts/castles) and though losing a defensive battle does punish you slightly, each battle ultimately makes you more powerful. Losses don’t feel like a bad thing and victories are fun, so this is a pretty good game. I do, however, miss siege mode. Playing as the enemy was so cool. If you want that instead of a map to conquer, see Heroes and Castles 1.

Fun at the start until the difficulty takes over. I was highly enjoying this game at the beginning, but not even 2 hours in I have found that not only are my outposts and main building being attacked faster than I can respond, but each defense has no regulation to keep it balanced, no waves, no chance to restock Troops, every troop I throw accordingly does so easy, BUT even the enemy raids keep getting stronger until no matter what I do I get overrun, I could type a small book on this alone but I will keep it short. 1: attacks happen too often 2: attacks need waves, or a system to keep from being thrown every type of enemy at the START 3: more upgrade gems as they are needed for literally everything and are rare as crap 4: field troop number needs to be raised as we can’t throw enough out For the most part that is all, but Jesus Christ this game is unfair levels of hard.

Ads ruined it. I open the game, ad. Not only do you have to wait for the ad, clicking the x takes you to the App Store. Then, you’re prompted to watch another ad for an item. Then after battles you watch another ad. All take you to the App Store not of your own free will. And there’s no option to buy no ads. Honestly, I enjoyed the game at first. The mechanics and premise are very nice but being berated by ads at every turn has completely turned me and others off this game. I’ll be deleting and not returning to this hogwash

Not like you would think. The game is pretty good but your always having like hordes of enemys attacking 5 forts at once and every time i would get on it would make me stay at the home castle and defend against and impossible hord i cant defeatand no other way to level up or i would have to go to another fort and i got to where i couldnt even take out forts when they had just popped up and you cant control the units like in nobleman so if anything the next update needs to have an alternative way to level up and get better weapons and armor instead of trying to get better stuff by trying to pass a level way beyond your experience

Ads. I loved this game. I didn’t care much about the ads, I just wanted the loot that the blacksmith offered and the loot that was randomly found after a battle. I could not longer collect loot from the blacksmith because an ad won’t play. I don’t know if it’s my device or my internet. My internet seems fine so I’m just assuming it is a bug in the game. Forsaken media, could you please fix the game so I can collect the stuff from the blacksmith? Thank you!

Hard but fun. Enemies are made to be as annoying as possible, so you are forced to play in a specific manner with specific units that counter the enemy units. As a result, certain levels are extremely awful to play. However, there is a ton of fun to be had so I recommend everyone at least try it.

Not bad just buggy. This is an interesting game. I’ve played this before on my phone and after getting an iPad I decided to download it again. The screen on my phone was small and I was looking forward to playing on a larger one. Unfortunately, I am having a couple of problems. I get notifications after a battle that I’ve found a piece of equipment. However, when I try to pick it up, I get an error saying, “an unknown error has occurred.” This prevents me from picking the stuff up. It’s still a fun game. Even though I now have to farm 20% more to level stuff up.

Grind fest. Jesus Christ the waves are brutal, I barely have 2 castles and I’m already getting swamped. Armored opponents take like 5 minutes to take down with pikes, riflemen and footmen combines, but by the time you do kill them, literally 6 more takes his place. Sprinkle in a handful of lesser enemies then boom, perfect spam, unbeatable spam. Spongey, numerous, and tough units, all rolled into one. It would be slightly better if there was a “halt.” Button for your troops to build up a fighting force, but no. Even if it’s just a measly 50 men which isn’t a lot (or enough)compared to what the ai has. God forbid the ai builds a fort next to yours, you might as well go fight the Russians during the second world war. The worst part, there’s no counter for this. Pikemen are too expensive to effectively counter, footmen just delay the inevitable, and you won’t get a chance to use much else because they’re also expensive, come in few numbers, not worth it or you’re too busy not being overwhelmed.

Multiplayer. I’m not allowed to join other servers. The games states that the host left its lobby when they clearly haven’t and in the host lobby, the host is always waiting on other players when the other players are having the other error.. if that makes sense.. I really like this game and I wanted to put my friends on but now it seem this was all for nothing🤦🏾‍♂️ Please fix this!!!

The game is good but has two annoying flaws. The game is great by all means but there are two things that will take players away from the game. One, the error that pops up when you take a land or defend a land and you receive a message to get new equipment. It loads and loads and then says there’s an error. I used to play the game and it worked fine but now there suddenly is an error which makes the game even harder. Speaking of harder, the second issue is the difficulty. Normal is expected to be a much more challenging experience than easy but normal is completely overpowered. Especially in terms of the how quickly and at the rate at which the enemy puts out units is literally SPAM. You would think easy would change this but it is virtually the same and practically makes the game unplayable when you can not even get command points before you are swarmed by numbers or by units that are charging you instantly or spawning in the middle of the field next to your wall.

A Complete and Satisfying Experience. The only thing I would change, is I would have liked to see the co-op mode from the first game that saw you having the option of either playing as the hero or playing as the monsters. That was a load of fun and I think there’s a lot of interesting increase gameplay gameplay elements that could be derived from that in any future titles; such as somethings so audacious as being able to go through an entirely monster focus campaign with monster races like, The mummy barbarian, dark elf archer, or even a Lich necromancer. I’d pay good money for that. Regardless this game as it is stands as the paragon of a fully fledged complete mobile experience the likes of which were not used to seeing, and that I have enjoyed for many years. Thank you for always making such quality games.

Good but not. This game is good, but there are some things that need to be fixed. For example every time you try to collect gear it says an unexpected error accord please try again later. If you can try again later it says the same thing. Also there is the fact that there are way to many undead creatures coming when you attack. So this is a good game overall, but has some problems.

Heroes and castles 2. I think it is an amazing game I was looking for a game lie this ever since I got my first phone but there is barely any players on anymore to play multiplayer player I need a way to know when anyone is playing this game other than that it's a wonderful game only because there's not enough players who will play and lastly if you could find a way to bring back the game I want to battle other players again😎

Items. Every time I come back to the game it says I have a new piece of equipment that was found. Obviously every time I accept but it says “loading” for about 7 seconds and then a message pops up every time saying “an error has occurred please try again later” and later never happens so I’ve missed out on tons of gear.

Great game! Hope they add content or are working on a third game in the series.. I’ve put in some hours on this one! Haven’t been able to play the online features but have had a good amount time in with the single player campaign. I absolutely LOVE that you can create different characters (races and classes) and have them all fight in the battle with the character you choose to play as out of the lot of them. Cheers to the devs and keep it coming!

Great game. It’s a pretty good game, once you get to level 6 it’s kind of impossible to beat. I’ll figure it out though or give up. Came across a bug I believe. After a battle when you find an item. I click claim and it’ll say loading but then an error message pops up. You don’t receive anything.

Definitely needs fixing. It’s an ok game but I don’t agree with while you are trying to complete a wave the enemies get stronger 20 times because you can’t win then you just get over run and lose no matter what. if that one aspect of the game wasn’t there, it would be a much better game. It’s supposed to get harder by each wave not during each wave that just doesn’t make sense I can’t upgrade during the wave how can the enemy? Especially every 60 seconds or whatever

I really like this game. This games mean a lot to me but there are something’s I wish where in the game such a small structures that summon unit such a like a farm house that will summon the peons from heroes and castles 1 and a small little would be to give skeletons warriors and footman different weapons such as a mace, axe, club, etc it would also be nice that the higher rarity of an item would be a little bit more expensive and finally it would be nice if there was a pet system that will act like the red guard but do not need to be summoned will attack your target and can only have at a time and do not take up population so if some of this stuff is added then I will put in 5 stars thank you

But I elbowed you to fix please. I'm on wave 20 and I got stuck on that wave even when I played on easy so I took a few days from doing the missions to boost my heroes, troops and castle. I even reset all the skill points for the 3 different heroes. Overall I spent a lot of time and crystals trying to boost everything up. Now I play this level with ease even on Normal but can't get more than 75% thru the level without it crashing and turning off! Great game overall amazing in every aspect for mobile but please fix this and lmk!

Good challenge. I find this game rather challenging, and as someone whom loves strategy, i applaud the developers. Fantastic job guys. And for those reading this review wondering if this app is worth getting, i highly advise you to download this app, and keep it in a folder with the other games this developer has made. Might want to keep said forlder where you can access it quickly and easily.

Awesome but crashes :(. Love it, wish there was more detail in customising stats/skills/ equipment and i wish there was more mana summoning but oh well its still awesome. But... Always a but... I cant pass wave 10... Keeps crashing :(

Please FIX problems.. Okay. So every time I'm in the battle or action it keeps shutting out from the game like when I'm in the battle for maybe around 2 - 4 minutes it just randomly shuts off. It's really annoying. I'm already in the last wave (wave 17) of protecting the castle . I'm not sure if it is the last wave. Well anyways, please FIX the game so I can finally finished protecting it and I don't have to repeat wave 17 over and over because it keeps shutting out from the game and also , so I can play the game smoothly as well. Thank you, I love the game!

FPS improvements required. The game is really good and when I first got it, it would run like a charm, but now it runs horribly and it just unbearable Can this be fixed please.

This is exactly the game I’m looking for. I’ve always wanted games where you can summon a lot of troops and fight along side them! But this has defence as well! It’s the best game ever Only thing I want to see added is base upgrades such as turrets and stronger walls

But than at 1 point it started lagging so much it doesn't work anymore...sadly I had to restart all over again and still it didn't work....what a shame, it was a brilliant game but for some reason it just lagged so much it kept crashing........R.I.P

Brilliant. This game is really challenging and fun. I was willing to spend a few dollars on in app purchases and had a blast. Get it.

Weapon colour. The gold Colour is not as shiny, not as good looking.

Great. I think this game is great, really enjoyable. I also really like the graphics, I don’t know, I guess it’s because I grew up playing wc3 but I’ve always found something really charming and visually pleasing about low poly models that still manage to look detailed and cohesive. It also isn’t “pay to win” which Is nice. I think the only downside would be that the shield-bearing enemies are a bit overpowered, as they are constantly blocking and take little to no damage from attacks, while you as the player need to manually block attacks and your block meter runs out almost immediately, making shields useless and multiple shield-bearing enemies harder than it should be. Also, the game seems to run into an endless cycle of “an unexpected error occurred” for days on end where getting armour randomly from battles/entering the game/reward from the blacksmith just doesn’t work, and it seems to go on forever. I really enjoy the strategic elements, and the heroes I think are one of the best parts of the game, even early game seems like some epic battle scene from lord of the rings. Looking at other fantasy video game series, most tend to really pick up by the third game, because by then you can really find out what works and what doesn’t and what you want to do so with mechanics/plot so I’m excited for if/when you decide to pick back up on this.

Noooooo. This game is amazing but in then I updated to 1.3.1 and I can't play the game I just crash and I had so much fun and now I can't do anything ( I have a iPad mini that's probably why) so can you fix it as soon as possible please

Simply amazing. This is easily my favourite game on iOS, and I have well over 150! There are so many things I love about this game, for example: 1. Absolutely NO pop ups trying to make you spend real money. There are a tonne of ways to earn free crystals for buying gear and unit upgrades. 2. The battles really are epic and totally immersive. Later waves are just challenging enough to make you want to try again straight away if you lose, and makes winning feel very rewarding. 3. Absolutely NO annoying timers. Want to upgrade a unit or your castle walls? Do it instantly, then jump straight back into battle. 4. Gameplay is unique and the most fun I've had since getting my iPhone 6+ a year ago. I could go on but you get the point. If you don't have this game already, download it right now.

Shield units. The game is good. But the shield units are too OP u can’t damage them even they don’t raise their shield

Where is part III????. HONESTLY one of the best games on the app store since the Infinity blade saga was released. Completely free to play if you want and it doesn’t punish you for it. An amazing dynamic and unique style, as an aspiring game developer I love what you have done and would gladly pay for a third game.

Add alliance. It would be cool to have a online alliance thing where you can play with multiple friends and have the ai become more stronger and harder to over come with more players you are playing with. P.s promote your game more I think it can become popular.

LOVE THE GAME, where’s the updates & part 3?. I love this game it’s the best game on the App Store and I have no idea why it isn’t 1st, also the prices are super cheap. The graphics are amazing! We need updates and a part 3 though. If you can make some updates and the next game that would be amazing! Also I think you could get it on console and PC which would grow the game even more. Things you mite want to add. The characters in the game all have their personal treats and if you can, in the possible next game you make put giants as a hero but can only be unlock passed level 25 or 30 just to make it easier to finish the harder levels but as a debuff make it that the enemy has a higher spawn rate then usual to over take the giant if possible. Also only bows and melee weapons can be equipped. Thanks for the grate game and hope you continue to make more. :)

Outstanding Game. This game is amazing. It is full of action, fun, and adventure. This game implements real-time strategy, at the same time keeping the RPG aspect to it. I recommend this highly, as it takes a lot of time to play. It has a wide variety of weapons, armour, and skills to use. It is a gem of a game on mobile, and everyone will probably enjoy it.

Game have balanced issues. 1. Archer is too difficult. 2.early Medieval fantasy with shield at the game beginning ( really). 3. Unit cost too much and base defence are lacking. 4. Weapons speed need some balanced. 5. Feel like pay to win with armour upgrade and weapons upgrade. 6. More type of armours. 7. Duels wield weapons (not recommended when there range units) are way to slow.

Take this from a gamer. So if your a 12 year old then this is the game for you. The defence and attack is great love how you add elfs, dwarfs and Humans. Because if you watch lord of the rings you can make some pretty cool consents. Just a tip for the developers add a world map and a little more story line because if we can see cutsenencs then we can enjoy it even more. Also add like some new bad guys like evil elf’s or evil men becuase fighting monsters is fun but having that would make it great and maybe we can have our own talk about it. Unknown error ha occurred.. Every time I’m meant to get a reward I get “unknown error has occurred” and can never progress because of this. Fix your god damn game!

Very buggy. Fantastic game. Now I haven't played long but so far this game is amazing. There is tones of units to pick from and the map view mode is beautiful. I absolutely love the concept of expand and conquer, it adds a hole new atmosphere to the game. Plus the other features such as the blacksmith and the heroes upgrade tab makes the game a hole lot more enjoyable. I don't think that I will get bored like heroes and castle 1. This game truly wowed me. Here comes the bad news, I don't know if it's only the free version that does this but whenever I am in a battle my game lags out bad. Could you please fix that, if this is something that can be fixed in the source code that is. I am using a 28 Gb iPod by the way if that's what you want to know. LAGS OUT LIKE HELL FIXS THIS PLEASE

10/10 broken game. It was a good game until it started saying you have an item want to collect it I click yes and it say an error has occurred make sure your connected to the internet and try again later at the start it didn't do this it just loaded up an ad and gave me the item once it was done -_-

I don't care about the bugs. I like just the way it is you don't need to update you get my vote on that. 😉

Unbalanced and unfair. The game has to many overpowered units like the skeleton captain, goblin doctor and the small spider swarms. Later on the enemy will spawn an entire army just a few seconds after the battle starts and it is full of the best skeleton units and a bunch of skeleton captains and this happens when you have nothing. When you attack a enemy castle it is also unbalanced because the enemy doesn't have a population cap and I know this because in one of the main missions it is a attack and defend mission and because the enemy doesn't have a cap they had nothing but orcs and like 20 or more skeleton giants and I was playing on easy mode for all of this. The only thing that is balanced is the in game currency so you don't have to spend money on the game. The skeleton captain should not be allowed to heal every skeleton around himself the goblin doctor should not be allowed to heal everything to max health especially stuff with a lot of health they should give regeneration instead and the spider swarm should have reduced damage to their jump attack because they stun lock the player and they do to much damage.

Needs more. This game needs to have a evil mode like the previous game.

one step forward 2 steps back from game 1. equipment finding and armorers gift features are broken,… this game is ok and ambitious, seige mode is ok (not much depth just an extra wall with ranged units and a time limit) overall lacks charm and atmosphere of 1st game, also character feels very weak without $$$ gems, stamina system compared to hack and slash of 1st game really blows, game gets boring the later you play it and starts to demand you buy gems to keep up

Fun, innovative but unbeatable. This game becomes unbeatable after a few battles. A.I. cheats with numbers and you are limited. Don't buy anything because maxing out all units attributes will not win the battles anymore. Not much strategy either.

Great game but with difficulty.. I loved the game which features a lot of unit types, upgrades and equipment. The huge problem I have with the game is it gets EXTREMELY DIFFICULT later on the game. To the point where I am completely unable to defend anything. I’m well armed and my units are well upgraded but the spamming of tanky and rushing enemies drives me crazy! Also to the point where even mercenaries can’t even help at all. It punishes you for not knowing what kind of strategy you need if the enemy force is using multiple types of units with immunities like resistant to stuns, magic, and physical damage. It takes trial and error but it requires so much you just wanna quit the game all together.

Amazing, simply a masterpiece.. Playing many games alike to H&C I’ve played H&C 1, Lord and Master (and old game that is unfortunately not available anymore) Mount and Blade series, Kingdom come Deliverance, Total War series. To be able to build up my own character and fight alongside other of my men in a medieval or fantasy setting has always been my favourite type of games, This game is a 100% Free to play and 100% Pay to win proof, I have currently captured 55% of the map, and is on wave 18, The game is easy at some part and other part it’s like hell on earth, but you just need to find a way to beat the level, either through your unit or through your hero, though if I said I didn’t buy anything then I’d be lying, I bought 75 crystals for a VERY cheap price of around 4 dollars, my Footman and Shield Knight and Captain were very levelled after that. The game’s playstyle/strategy was very simple, Just imagine you’re playing with a deck of card resembling H&C Units, Your enemy plays Mummy Charger card, due to prior knowledge and having dealt with this enemy before, you played 21 Footman and 1 Pathfinder Card. It’s essentially how the game works, summoning unit and using the correct counter measure against the enemy. But if that was all it took then it wouldn’t be fun. You have to worry about bannermen so they dont get killed, generating enough command point to not get overrun, You don’t sit around and just let your unit do the work, surprisingly, you’ll be outside fighting then running back in to regenerate health. The Intensity lasts throughout the whole battle, In which I love alot, There wasn’t a moment’s for rest, as soon as you defeat all the previous enemy, there’s like 30 more just got summoned. I love the look of the cosmetics of weapon/armor/shield, it looks very cool, I love that you can be multiple classes within one hero, as I went Knight/Paladin for my Human and Grandmaster/Druid for my Elf. I love how the units of the game look, they look awesome and sick as hell. And the best part is that the game is free, and has little to no advertisement, well the free equipment system is broken so currently absolutely 0 advertisement. If you’re just starting to play H&C, Scribe is your best friend, and when starting out with a human character, Pro Tip: Level up the skill where it has a chance to summon a captain to max ASAP, and then when you unlock the Captain via Crystal or manually buying the Captain, level the Captain as much as you can. If Captain gets enough kill, his buff will stack up alot and a Footman can deal up to 50 Damage or more per hit.

Failed update. Newest update makes the game lag and crash constantly

Love the game. The gameplay itself is fun, but I really don't like the constant ads. They bug out and crash the game after I watch them, then I restart the game and it puts me just before the ad so I have to watch it again and again until by some godly miracle it doesn't crash. I get that it's a free game but this is excessive, if yer gonna put ads in the game make it like a watch a vid get a crystal kinda thing. Not rape my retinas with big fish casino ads every time I find a piece of equipment.

Pay to win. Heroes and Castle 1 was a very good game and I played it for couple months without paying any dollar. But heroes and castle 2 changed a lot, it becomes a pay to win game, if you don’t pay, very very hard to go on with the game.

Please keep this up!. The first one whas really good, and the second even better, but neither have aged well. They are still incredible, but this series is overdue a sequel. Perhaps improving character models and reworking the multiplayer features could restart the siries.

Wish this game wasn’t dead. Pretty much no one plays this game anymore which is sad since it’s really fun and had a lot of potential, and I think if the devs make another game like this one or have a really big update for this game it could be saved

there needs to be a unit cap for the amount of enemies and some units should. my game has crashed multiple times due to the amount of units the enemy has recently my game crashed because there was 90 or more orc archers raining hell on me and every unit I spawned in also the amount of health the orcs have is a little absurd

Good game for a while. I’ve only played this game for two days and it’s bad I give them credit for trying but would not recommend within wave five the enemy is overpowering and you can’t win battles I’m not hard is a problem but this is stupid hard and it’s a game where you have to spend money to be good at it It’s not a good game

After a week of playtime. Hey love the 3D graphics and the ability system I have only one issue every time I log in the game it says I have a new piece of equipment ready and when I click yes it loads for like 20 seconds and then says unknown error so if you could fix that it’d be great

Fun game!. This game has good progression, without being super demanding. Some games require you to constantly be playing in order to be any good, but you can just hop on whenever and improve you character.

One update too many?. Since last update w/bug fixes for ads not showing up, app went from slightly annoying to intolerable. Ads are forced on you even though app was purchased. At least give the option to pay one time fee to go ad free like other games do. It's also gotten soooo choppy during battle sequences sometimes freezing for several seconds. I feel bamboozled. Please fix it or refund me.

Too op. I’m holding off a massive force then all of a sudden 10 tomb ghouls pop up and hit me then borrow somewhere ealse. I get with in swinging rang they borrow again hit me and repeat till I fall back to my walls. then, they kill all of my banner man and I can’t summon units then my walls fall and the borrow ghouls do the same thing. Then I’m running so I don’t die then they chase me while skeletons and goblins destroy my crystal. Can you at least put a cool down on there borrowing time are something.

Fun quality game. I love this game. It is well made, and it doesn’t shove ads in your face constantly. I’ve had it for a few years and it’s still entertaining.

Glitch. I enjoy the game except for the glitch in getting new weapons and armor! Whenever I get a msg that a new piece of equipment is found and I click yes to get it another msg pops up that an error occurred, this happens every time. I have no options for upgrading weapons or armor. This is ruining the game for me and I will delete if this can’t be fixed

Glitches glitches glitches!. It was fun at first but after every wave I beat I cannot get the item for that round! It glitches so much! Also it’s IMPOSSIBLE to beat no way since it cost diamonds to upgrade your character, castles, and army. Definitely forces you to buy some with real money just to get by

I love the game but their should be a smaller limit for enemies to spawn. They keep spawning to much and I’m sick of it not only that but they keep getting stronger it’s not fair their getting stronger and my men aren’t able to get it as well and they spawn way to fast can you please fix it

I dont think I can get my money back. I spend 20 dollars on the gem, I bought new phone and load but the save file on icloud is old. Cant get those gem back. Remember kid, it wont save your transactions on different phone.

It’s a over all great game with strategy, unique units and enemy’s with different weaknesses, down side is oh you found some loot on this battle watch video to get it, it gets old really fast. Mobs get really hard after you progress it that far in game provides a great challenge but low end graphics

Insane adds. Game is actually kinda fun. Airplane mode helps avoid ads while flying, but as soon as I landed, the ads got crazy. The second you open the app, you are hit with ads. Immediately deleted the app. Would probably have paid a couple bucks to keep playing every once and a while, but have to watch ads to even look for the option (if there is one).

So much fun. This game is freaking amazing only thing I would love to see is the option to play as the monsters in versus battles against your friends

Me and my twin think it needs a transfer and a setting/mode were we can play together and the waves we do count. If you could add this in a future update then that would be amazing. From Andrew Z

Could be GREAT. AWSOME game, but the constant bug of equipment found and then error occurs ruined it for me. I LOVED the first version of this game and this one seemed even better, but it looks like the developers abandoned this game to work on other games since this error has been present for a long time and will probably never be fixed.

Im a month late however. The game looks better than ever! Glad to see one of my favorite games get some love. Hope to see a third game one day!

Awesome!. This game is awesome and really cool how you have an army and you even get fight with your army but it gets kind of hard and the graphics aren’t the best but still I give a lot of credit to the designers and coders who made the game

Nice but TOO HARD. I enjoy this game, i like the units, the strategy and the overall feel to the game. But what i don't like is it being ridiculously hard. Even on easy mode its too much. Lower the enemy A.I or something, what turns out to be a great game can turn sour by wave 30, and then you wont want to play this at all anymore.

I like the graphics, keep up the good work.. So, when I started playing this game, I was so hyped, but why the difficulty is increased by one. Im on wave 6 and the difficulty is 6 and how YouTubers get golden or cool weapons? The graphics is better than H&C and I haven’t played it yet, I looked at the pics, H&C has Gameloft graphics.

To the person who made this. This is the best game in the world but can it have Knights too,goblins and skeletons but it is the best game in the world!😃 I love the challenges!☺️ but if u can pls have knights too in the game but this is the best game ever!😋 I love the way the skeletons look like they came from the ground or dried up! How come it’s so hard?!?!!?!. Hey I’m really into medieval things and all the crappie games out there won’t let you play in a war. when I saw this game I wanted to try it out. But when I reached the unlucky wave 5 it was so hard. And I wished that there weren’t command points, units to spawn, and protecting a crystal. And I’m into MEDIEVAL stuff not FANTASY MEDIEVAL. And Green blood ugh come on I’m NOT 5 years old. And finally, I’m going to find an other Medieval game. Not this 5 Year old Junk. Ps: the graphics we’re ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE!!!!!!!!!!!

Very Great Game But.... The game is very good, I think there should be an option where your hero’s can be controlled by AI and you spectate the battle. while not standing in one spot waiting to get killed by an enemy Also might need a few more skill classes for human, dwarf, and elf, I am really enjoying the game so far

Won’t Restore my purchases. I had a phone break, and when I purchased a new one and downloaded this game again, it’s saying I can’t restore my purchases because it doesn’t recognize this device! It should recognize my Apple ID and give me my money back! I spent like $20 on this game to support you and now you’re making me restart? 4 characters with legendary equipment, maxed town and some troops all gone! Gone!! And I can’t even get my crystals back.

Great game needs some updates. Amazing game fun 10/10 awesome. However the healers on the enemy team need to be nerfed they when there's tons of units on the field especially the harder to kill ones the heal them all the way and it almost makes the higher health enemies in killable please fix this!!! Thank you!!!

Has potential. I really wish you weren’t capped out so quickly on how many units you can build. The enemy keeps getting stronger and your power is effectively capped. So if you don’t beat the wave right away you have no chance. I’ve played the same level 5 times trying different tactics and nothing is working because the enemy keeps getting stronger

In love. I love this game, my only two criticisms are that the ads are broken for me and that the main waives can feel endless and get boring, also what is the point of premium? Also i think it should be updated more often because it’s so fun

Amazing. If there was more character customization this would be the most amazing game I’ve played on any console ever. I’m very harsh on judging and deleting games usually but this challenges and surprises me at how well it keeps my focus. I could literally play all day

The archers enemy archers deal to much damage. This is s good game but I rate it three stars because the enemy archers deal too much damage and when there are groups they are to over powered and with limited stamina you can’t avoid all the arrows so you die a lot if you could please nerf the archers they are just too over powered

One major problem. Love the game. It is great and I really enjoy the developer. Only problem is that it crashes a ton. Usually when defending my castle. It will crash several times on the same battle on my iPhone 6s to the point where I'd have to force surrender a battle just so I can get past the crash. If this was fixed then game would be near perfect.

I feel dumb. Becuse I deleted it I feel dumb nor stupid every feels stupid once a while and i feel stupidity right now becuse I deleted it my mistake it’s not the creators fault it’s my fault

Great idea and love it buttt. The first H&C was great, but completely different from this. I love how they have a campaign you own land you have to fight to get too. Very fun. But the thing is. The first one had multiplayer this one for some reasons the servers don’t work and it says no players. Just please fix this and I will be happy af. Love your game❤️❤️

Fun, but needs some tweaking.... THINGS I LIKE: -tactically deploy units (rock/paper/scissors) -taking control of lands to gain their bonuses -wide variety of weapons/equipment/units THINGS I DON'T LIKE: -earning crystals for upgrades is too slow -units needed to counter strong enemy units cost too much, easily overwhelmed -crafting and loot is so random I get same items or worse items a lot -enemy can attack any land any time THINGS I'D CHANGE: -character creation. race/gender/features/etc.. -gain stat points to distribute yourself -have shop to get equipment and use crystal for upgrades/forge/etc... -command system to tell specific units to attack/defend (castle/unit/you) -captured lands should act as front line. lands that don't border enemy lands shouldn't be able to be attacked
