Clever, Invigorating, and Fun. I know this is an older game, but that doesn't mean it isn't fun. I am very happy that this is still on the App Store. When I was younger, it was on our second generation iPod and I loved it. I didn't think it would still be in the App Store, but when I recently downloaded it again on a different, much newer device, it worked just as well as it did on the old iPod, to my appreciation. My only complaint, that isn't even a complaint really, just a suggestion, is that when spider does her jump and slice close up move, two of her legs stay on the ground while her body is in the air. You may want to fix that, but it isn't a big deal if you don't. I have yet to try Bug Heroes 2, but I am looking forward to when I do!

Best game. Bug heroes 1 will always be my favorite mobile game, I feel it's even better than bug heroes 2 in some aspects. Love the concept of a bug inhabited world with the history scrolls, all in all the lore is fantastic. 10/10

Best IOS Game to Exist. since i was a jit this was the go to game, im saying back in 08/09 THIS was the staple video game of my childhood.. it hurts me to see it’s irreverence today but i always find myself coming back i love this game.

Nostalgic and still amazing. I can’t believe this game still runs in 2022, it’s still as good as before. The purchases in my opinion are affordable and really cool. I wish the developers would add coop for bug hero’s one. If they did I would be playing 24/7

Great game... praying mantis is a nice addition.. Phenomenal game!! This is by far my most favorite game for my iphone... I have enjoyed the updates immensely, the new characters and levels are fantastic additions. I was originally a little bummed that what everyone else was now getting free I had to pay for just a few months ago, but looking back on it, it was completely worth it. This is a highly original and playable game; it is easy enough to pick up on the fly, but challenging enough that you can continue to play it for weeks on end. I am not a typical game player, so my review may not be up to snuff for some, but if this was the only game I owned, I would be happy.

Please fix the crashing problem!! (iphone 7). This is a phenomenal game, I’ve been playing Bug Heroes for years and really appreciate this game. However, the game constantly crashes making it unplayable because my progress is never saved.

Hidden Gem. There are no words in the English language, which is factually the most expressive of every known language, to describe the charm of big heroes. As of writing this, there is less than 100 reviews of this game and they all are generally positive. That, is a fitting circumstance for this game. It is possibly one of the most obscure and phenomenal of all mobile games. It is a mobile game equivalent of a cult film, it is unknown but has a small yet dedicated following. I am not yet old enough to use the proper vernacular to describe this… Gift, of a game, but I do hope you reading this will give this little game a chance. Because it might just surprise you.

Missing features! NOTICE. This game needs blood and bug guts! I hate the way it looks attacking bugs. It only looks cool when I get hit because blood actually comes out, NOT from the enemies. This game has a good set up, it's missing all the BUG BLOOD. C'mon. We all like stepping on bugs and seeing splats of blood. Put this in the game! It will give it great touch! It's boring seeing little cartoon flashes come out of enemies -_- The main idea of a game is satisfaction. Adding blood effects and bugs just exploding into pieces would satisfy many players. To play a game, you have to like what you see. Please add this feature! I can promise this company that it will keep players hungry for more bug killing!

A GREAT app store gem. Part castle defense, part dual stick shooter, part endless survival, part action RPG, and a whole lot of pure awesome. I picked this up on a whim based on its thread at Touch Arcade and I am so glad I did. It's not the easiest game to do well at, I'm still awful even on Easy (and I'm a reasonably hardcore gamer going back decades), but I'm loving it even being awful, which speaks volumes to the design and polish of this app store gem. Pros - Great graphics for the platform & its universal, working equally well on my iPad and my touch. - Tons of depth with so many choices to make that you'll get far more than your $2 worth long before you've done more than begin to figure out how everything fits together. - Fun, fun, fun, even when you're sucking. - Lots of unlockable bonuses, equipment, and lore to keep you coming back as if the gameplay wouldn't. - It's a steal at $2. Cons - Controls can sometimes be a bit sticky which can cost you in a tight mess.

I always come back. I’ve been playing this game for about 10 years now. I always come back every now and then to play, I can’t believe this gem of a game isn’t more well known.

Where did the last hour go?. I consistently find myself playing "just one more wave," to save the money for a new ability or weapon! I have only ONE complaint about this game, and it's that I wish upgrades were permanent! I can't complain too much however, because I can tell this was a design choice and not an oversight. It's great, it's (currently) free, and even if you only play the free content (three heroes, a handful of maps) it's well worth the time investment!

YAY. I played this when I was four, five, and six. This game has been on my mind ever sense then. I am a preteen now and I can’t wait to try this game out on a newer device. I had this game on my old I-Pad which was actually the original version.

What would be nice for the next update. 1)- multiplayer! everyone is saying it, I know, but it would make this game more fun to play with random people or friends! Just an idea! 2)-new hero or enemy! It's hard to find a bug that you haven't used yet, but alas I have found one! A tick! That's right TICK can be a new hero or an enemy. You can design him/her however you like, but just for an idea I was thinking that he/she would be one of those big fat ticks (that you would find on a deer) kinda slimy. Just absolutely disgusting lookin'! Maybe as a hero give him a absolute different weapon (I.e. no gun, stick, swords, fists, or any weapon that any other bug hero has), maybe give like a weapon like spitting or throwing grenades or whatever. Just something that makes this tub of lard unique!!! ~that's all I have to say so have a good daaaayyy~ TheWhiteBattery

You won. GREAT GAME!!! I'm having so much fun with this game. I have been playing it on my ipad and it works great. The developer just announced on the touch arcade forums that they are working on making this universal for the ipad. SO GET IT NOW!!! OH and thank you Foursaken_Media for being so involved on the forums... dizzyjw signing off... IT'S NOW UNIVERSAL!!! Still a wonderful game. Developers keep adding and adding more content. This game is so worth every penny I have spent. These people leaving bad reviews because the app is free now are completely ridiculous. This is the best money I have ever spent on the app store and would do it again in a heart beat. This game will rock your face off!. One of the best games I've ever played. What is really cool though is that just as I'm getting bored with it, they have a new release, with a new level, character or weapons that gets me all interested again. I travel all the time and this game makes the flights seem shorter. Love it! My only wish is that you guys updated New York Zombies like you do this. Also, release some new games, I'll buy anything you make !!! Great job!!

Outstanding. I bought this game the very first day it came out. Back then it crashed a lot but I still played it because of the addictive gameplay. After they fixed the bugs and crashes the game became perfect. As soon as the new update came out I downloaded all of the IAP's without hesitation because I have no doubt that the developer is committed to this game. The new IAP's are great. They include many varied characters and several new maps. This game it pretty much as good as it gets.

Just amazing. I love this game, the endless combinations of which heroes on which stages, and all the achievements and unlockable equipment. The developers really put a lot of personal touches like the characters little catchphrases and all the bug puns. Theres a deluxe version so you can get all the iap in one purchase, or you can purchase them seperately in this version. Honestly the only issue ive found is that the reinforcements iap sometimes didnt have many different level up skills. Other than that, very little lag, clean graphics (for a 4th gen), and variety each time. After 1 year of having this game, im still not done playing it!

A few bugs (sort of). These aren't really bugs but they need to be fixed. "Bug" number one: Ant. No not really. Problem number one: there's still ads saying "BUG HEROES 2! Coming February 2014!" It's April 2015 and bug heroes 2 is out, you should probably fix that. Problem number two: with the reinforcements pack-thing (which is the best pack to get) let's say I'm playing as pill bug, but when I open up the upgrades menu, it says ladybug on all the abilities O.o problem number three: the store still says "new!" ...It's not new anymore. But this game is really good, I have all three bug heroes games and still play them!

It’s great. It’s a great game I must admit. But one major problem is that it constantly freezes for no reason. I cant play for very long before it crashes. This is a problem that NEEDS to be fixed. Please fix it

Timeless. Pretty much the best, most entertaining game on the App Store. I’ve had this game for years and have played it relentlessly. I would give this game 5 stars as it is the perfect RPG with such depth and it’s unique little world and style. I honestly think it outshines big heroes 2, but mostly in the music and simplicity departments. So many good memories. Thanks forsaken media for keeping this awesome bug battling game running for every new iOS system.

This game is great. But do you know what would make it better? A multi player. In adventure it could be co-op, capture the flag, defend the base and much more and in the coliseum you could have rooms to get into where all the bugs battle each other. Also I would love a few extra characters and bigger bases for normal mode, and do you think you could throw another ability slot in there? That would really be helpful. All in all though I think you guys at fours4ken are doing a great job and keep it up!

Future Updates. Great game! I've got some ideas about future updates that I think would be cool The next update should be a purchasable one that includes a praying mantis who summons reinforcements and a cockroach armed with a boomerang and a variety of traps. The map should be a sandbox that is teaming with various ants, such as a fire ant armed with a match stick, and a frame-throwing torch bug. The new turret type for the base should increase the firerate of other turrets. The next map pack should have a mercenary hornet with dual Uzis and a crazy cricket who holds a fork. The map could be a swamp infested with Mosquitos, water skater bugs and other of that sort. The tower could spray poison.

Great Game from the past, but crashes and wipes progress. The game is extremely solid gameplay wise with tons of content. But the game will freeze and seemingly not unfreeze, and when you close and reopen it wiped a seemingly random amount of progress (Going from wave 7 to 4, or just restarting to wave 1) It’s very disappointing and I doubt a review will matter but I have almost all the content besides treasure trove and it’s a precious childhood game

Awesome!!!. This should be the game of the year! Really awesome game! Even more addictive than NY Zombies (but NYZ has a very good story line while Bug heroes doesn't even have one. It's all endless mode with many different maps). It's really amazing to find an iOS game with all these TD, shooting, RPG elements at such high quality. Started playing just 2 days ago, and I have spent infinite hours on it. It would be even more perfect if you guys put in multiplayer mode. But one thing which I found ANNOYING!!!!!!!: say the hero is moving in some direction, then something (hero selection/ stash weapon panel) pops up, after exiting the pannel, even if my finger keeps holding on the left stick, the left stick is always reset and hero just stand still and get hit, until I lift the finger and touch the stick again. Can this issue be fixed? Really hope the next update can fix this if possible!

Incredible but needs update. One of the best and most immersive games that I've returned to over and over. Needs to be updated for iPhone X and provide support to restore past purchases (there's a loading bug now whenever I press restore purchases. Also crashes to often on iPhone X perhaps bc of lack of support for wider display. Please update and don't let one of my favorite games age and go to waste!

Great. This is a great game. It could use better graphics though. Bug Heroes has a very unique and interesting plot. I like how you must gather food, bring it to your base, and defend it. I really like the turrets. They're cool. They also make the game survivable after stage ten. You now, no turrets would make a good hard core mode. They have very good ideas like machine gun, zapper/stunner, sniper, bug bomb, (It's power and radius is bigger than a bug nuke,) which explodes once your food is lower than 125. Well, your bases food. My favorite (so far,) is the firecracker turret which is basically a mortar. The only thing that would make it better is a custom level designer. And I like how they made bug guts instead of blood. If you like defense games you should get it. Also it's sort of like the game gun bros., (except better,) if you've played that.

AMAZING. First off it leaves a beautiful nostalgic feeling overall. I may still be you but I remember playing this when I was 3 and it was great.

Great Free Game. Really fun mix of genres. The only thing I could ask for is a little more polish and color. The game seems kind of drab. There is a lot of content and great complexity, but it just is a little hard on the eyes. Update: They upgraded the graphics and now the game looks awesome. I am really enjoying this game. Update 2: The praying mantis is awesome (a lot like the beetle; my favorite hero) but the game keeps on crashing. If you could fix the crash, that would be great. Keep these awesome updates coming!!!

10/10. Bug who’s is such a great game and there’s nothing better that feeling of nostalgia. It brings back so many great memories. Just as amazing as I remember it! I know this game has been around for a while and the graphics aren’t the best but Skyrim doesn’t have the best graphics either and look at how great of a game that is! One of the best. This has to be the best iPhone games on the market. Its amazing in every way. Good rpg aspect in the fact that it actually gives you a reason to why you're doing this and gives you information on all your heroes pasts. Fun game with nearly endless playability because you always want to do better. You'll spend hours just trying to unlock all the abilities for the free heroes and the heroes for purchase are easily worth the 99 cents. This game is free for the time being and you should jump at it. I would be will to pay up 5 dollars just for the content that is free.

Legendary. I was so addicted to this game in like 2014, so addicted. I had it on a really old iPod and since I wasn’t allowed to play video games I’d sneak onto this game every free min I had. I come back to it every few years for nostalgic purposes and still enjoy it!

Button mash. Great game but you have to mash on buttons to make them work. It’s annoying and gets you killed.

Favorite App Ever. So happy they upgraded this to 64 bit. It doesn't end (like temple run or something), but it is different each time you play. I can spend an few mins playing here and there with save games, or I can play for an hour straight blowing up bugs and scorpions and snails. Great times!

10/10. This is the greatest game known to man. It just needs controller support to be perfect.

Amazing.. I love this game; it has quickly shot up to one of my favorite apps of all time (and I own over 2k apps, over 1k of which are (paid) games). One thing that would make this even more amazing would be co-op (Bluetooth or gamecenter or both). I hope sometime in the future this could be implemented. Keep up the good work, and keep the updates coming. (: Update: the latest update to come out with six new heroes and a multitude of other content is simply amazing. Once again, I can't put this game down! For their free promo they should have contacted FAAD to get featured for more exposure! It's a shame to see the ridiculous, low quality apps that are higher on the top free apps list. Too busy playing this game to make a profile on the TA forums so I thought I'd just mention it here.

Multiplayer mode. This game has been the best, but not completely, this game needs multiplayer mode where 3 players can play at the same time,Each player picking 2 characters(because if someone[or 2] leaves its gonna be TOO hard) and having same picked characters, with the exception of more bugs coming at the same time. Also a text chat where you can text people, because the food stash weapons will be a big disaster, demolishing and rebuilding. Please put in multiplayer mode and it will be the coolest most epicest game EVER!!! Put it with the deluxe edition and ill buy it, although keep it $4.99. :)

The Ultimate DOTA. Bug Heroes is by far the best version of the DOTA type rpg-gladiator game I have ever played. The premise is simple enough, you are a bug defending his stash of food from hordes of hungry insects and vermin. However the game is much deeper than the premise, providing a very fun brawl through masses of slimy bugs. The leveling system is simple and easy to grasp, specialities being quick to master and operate. The variety of heroes is remarkable, each character having a fully developed and unique set of skills. The game allows you to be a more defensive player, fortifying your base with heavy turrets and mines but also allows you to be very proactive, getting out and dishing the pain with massive clubs or poisoned knives. The best game I have played on the IPad, indeed one of he best games I played on non-PC systems.

One of the best games on iOS. Update: I really like the new update and would really like to keep the five stars. But the virtual move stick constantly locks up and the game lags a lot now. Please fix so I can change to five stars again. This game is simply amazing! The combination of a shootemup combined with defense features makes this game super addictive and satisfying. The different classes/bugs I can switch to and level make it seem like I'm playing a RPG. The graphics are great and I get minuscule lag. The bugs are my favorite though. The art, personalities, and VoiceOvers make the bugs fun! I love the awards but I think there should be more. Also, I wouldn't mind more turrets! I'm soo looking forward to the updates! This is a must get app worth more than it sells for! Good work guys!

Needs multiplayer. This is my favorite app, it's so fun, the only thing I can think of that would make it better is the option 2 buy more weapons, like have each bug have a set of weapons that they can buy, and also multiplayer, that would make it perfect, maybe have like an attack and defend type of thing where 1 person has a base and defends it like normal and the other person sends in bugs, like they get more points over time 2 send in more bugs and bigger bugs, or a multiplayer where each person has a base and each person spends money 2 send bugs and then also some computer spawned bugs, or a cooperative where 2 ppl protect 1 base or 2 ppl each have a base and they work together 2 survive, even a single player where u send in bugs 2 attach an enemy base would be cool

Original, strategic, action, quirky, FUN! IAPs worth it!. I like the alternate bugs, but their level up skills don't make sense. For example Termite who can switch to Roach, has the "lucky shot" skill. He carries a drill, not a gun...useless skill. It would have been cooler if they came with new perks and equipment. Still, it's an outstanding game, and doesn't crash as much. This is an endless survival defense game so dont expect to "beat" it. That's not what Bug Heroes is about. There is no ending to any level, just all out survival by your own skills until inevitable doom. This game was outstanding already (except for crashes) but this update is a grand slam! The amount of standard content is high quality and more than most games offer. Now with the new IAPs it's like a whole another sequels worth has been added for very little cash. The $4 it costs to unlock all the additional content is absolutely worth every penny! If you like to play great games then you should support the developers and buy it. Bug Heroes is highly imaginative and cleverly designed. It takes careful planning and strategy to survive.

I got ripped off. I like bug heroes but I went to go buy an app purchase and it told me that I bought so o selected my bugs and played for 1/2 of a second and it deleted my save file now I am soooooo saddddd

awesomeness. Bug heroes is a great shoot em up game with small rpg and rts things. Graphics may be unpolished but the graphics suit the game so dont change them Some stuff to improve- -When your on a narrow edge bugs walk through you -dont put bosses in the game like some people suggest the centipedes are enough - more weapons and equipable items - make it so you can recruit weak invincible bugs to your side and they stay with you for the whole game or make all three of the heroes you choose on the field at the same time as you and when you switch the two heroes just swap but you stay in the same spot - can add that when you rescue slaves they come to your side with guns and they are invincible and stay with you - and it does lag sometimes especially when you go back to the game after leaving your pod off for two minutes and has crashed twice with me - needs co op multiplayer up to 4 players that would make this game 10/5 cause i really like multiplayer games on ipod But fantastic game so addicting 6/5

Update 2.2 Review. This game is gonna become better, because an update heading right on! It has some major balance fixes, making Ladybug and Hopper become more noticed. Hopper gets more starting speed, more melee armour, Parry and Faith get better chance and Block is now cheaper and with a quicker cooldown. Ladybug gets better ranged armour, damage abilities like Lunge get a significant damage boost the more you upgrade her weapon, she blocks more than 75% damage with a successful Advantage or Riposte and Impale gets better damage, becoming an extremely useful game changer on Queen Ants and Giant Spiders. Bug Heroes is da bomb and this update is gonna make my addiction to Ladybug and Hopper shine even more! Best app I've seen on the IPod for sure!

Crashes !. addictive but when i bought the self destruct bomb thing, when it activates it just crash my ipod. release an update to fix this please :)

I love this game but.... Foursaken media, I love this game and love almost everything about it, almost... I know this game isn't getting the love it deserves but please give an update, this game glitches all the time and I feel very frustrated every time a glitch occurs.

Beat game ever. It is very addictive and fun, But it has become a bit hard after the patch.

Tops!. Yeah cool app. But why is not one long quest type campaign? It's annoying to upgrade weapons and then they are gone when u start a new game? Make it one big game- and keep the mini quests in too

Awesome. One of my favorite games for sure! Wish it had a multiplayer! Buy the extra bug packs. I wouldn't be surprised if it became the top iPod game. Great graphics, difficulty levels, in depth story line, and controls. It doesn't even take up that much space on your iPod, considering how detailed this game is. Hopefully more big packs will be bought out in future updates. I'm loving bug Heroes!

Brilliant but buggy. This just an awesome game and is really nothing else like it on the app store. Really fun and one of a kind game However it is a little glitchy and buggy at the fact that it will sometimes crash and that it only saves your games from 5-10 minutes before. And it also slightly lags on my 4th gen ipod touch Either way, great game, and can't wait for some updates.

Epic. Sweet game, sick controls, animation and difficulty. Such a well made game - please make more maps and characters!!! The only thing you could possibly do is make multiplayer - I would be so addicted....

I really like this. Got this yesterday and I think I've put about 8 hours into it so far, I absolutely love it! Unfortunately it has also crashed 3 times, please fix! The three different bug heroes are really fun to play and have a number of different abilities. The game has some very strategic elements in tower defence and resource management, and RPG elements in that heroes gain experience and have a number of different stats to level up and different equipment to buy. There are also a number of unlockable towers and abilities, and the hero screen has a number of "coming soon" spaces, suggesting that there will be new heroes in the future. This is the first time I've written a real review, and its basically because I love this game, its a real hidden gem! Highly recommended, even more so if the crashing issue is fixed (even though three crashes in about 8 hours isn't THAT bad).

Action, role-play, tower defence??. I think not. I couldn't find a part of it that actually required skill. As for the role-play, not sure you guys understand what that actually is. The game description reads really well... If only the game played that well!! Deleted.

And its free?! Its a MUST!!. The best game i cant believe that its free, the only thing thatd just boost the downloads i think could be something crazy like "create your own hero" thatd b too good.. Anyway keep up the great work and more updates!!

Amazingly Fun Game. This Game is a real blast to play, The graphics are well done, the playability is close to spot on, and there is so much content in the game, Sure you have to pay $1.19 for each add on, but for the price it is worth it, you get 2 extra bugs to play and an extra level and more weapons, for each add on, I just wish I had an Ipad to play it on because my aging fingers get a bit cramped after awhile with the Iphone. The only thing I would like to see changed is the Option to keep your upgraded weapons for ever, once you have accuired them. How about a PC version guys ;)))))))

Fun but has bug. Fun and addictive but every time i collect a history stroll (achievment) since updating game version it crashes and i have to start again, i would give it 5/5 if it stops crashing

Wow! TD & 3rd PS combined!!. Epic game! Great graphics, Easy to understand and most of all fun to play! It would be the best game ever if there's multiplayer or co-op, but still it's very fun and addictive. Keep up the good job developers!

Bug heroes. This is the best game ever but you should make a campaign mode and for the newest bugs like wasp or bumblebee should get a whole new pack of equipment

At first the storyline is simple and great, but later when you buy the rest of the addons you realized that it is not developed much at all! Secondly this game gets more expensive by $1.20 each time there is an update eventually leading up to $4.80 and whats even worse is that theres even more updates costing the user $1.20 for each new update! I am not willing to pay $10 for this game. $4.80 only yes because I really like this game. Thirdly, I paid for this game and added this game to my brother's ipod but guess what? It says that I paid $4.80 twice! So my $4.80 just disappeared and when I contacted itunes about this they declined it! Now this is the good part about the game. The graphics are great, the animation is detailed and the storyline at first is good, has humour in it aswell. Very addictive game with many heroes to select from (if you buy the game). Great game. 5/5 Can't say much but totally recommend for people to get the free version.

Bug Heroes. Great game. It just needs a campaign, a bug armor designer (maybe a bug designer to make your own bugs) and a help screen. Seriously! I bought the reinforcements upgrade but I don't know how to use it! "Unlock" isn't much of saying how to use it! There also should be more enemy bugs, more maps and one map that has all the bugs in your insectopedia.

Game changer.. This is a game changer in terms of dual stick shooters and castle defense. This has all the rpg elements to make you really try and last as long as you can so you can upgrade and level up everything! Heaps of fun, strategic bug violence! It's not just a survival shooter, theres quests, your base defenses to build and even different game modes. I was going to buy it and found it was free!! What a win!

Amazing then, amazing now.. I absolutely ADORED this game as a kid, i’d play it for hours and hours! I recently found it again on my iPad after I had gotten the data from my older one onto my newest one. The graphics were good even for the time. I actually even expected this to be on the ds or something. The combat has just enough complexity to where it’s really rewarding to learn attack timings and get your positioning right. I love how this system even carries over to the shooting controls! You can have your character automatically lock on to the closest enemy to save you the aiming but then you HAVE to attack the closest one, when you disable lock on you aim yourself Which allows you to pick who you’re shooting at. This also has the downside of you not being able to shoot at things in your range but outside of your screen. Overall great game. Make a 3rd one!

Sick as.. Great game very addictive. I was thinking maybe you should make like a free roam mode where if you die you just go back to a check point kinda thing. This will allow people to figure out what abilities to use and when to use them. You could even add an option where it added another food storage base eg. $2000 to build another base I think this would be cool. Also more free characters I get sick of the first three after a while. but overall great game 5 stars from me.

Legendary. This game is by far the best game I have ever played. Highly recommended ! More heroes,turrets,abilities,enimes etc would make this by far an app to be challenged. You could also make bosses every ten rounds. Also stop complaining that in app purchases should be free because I bought them and they are indeed worth it. An idea. Ok this game gets 5 stars for: -great grafiics -cool customisation -awsome animation -and general epicness But like just about every other review has said, this game needs multiplayer. I thought about this and due to the game structure how the multiplayer could be deficult to design. My idea comes from bh quest and its quite simple. A huge(er) world in which players log on with consisten characters that keep the same stats and steal food or even items from opponents. The bases would be much more customizable, to the point of being castles with heaps of towers and more tower slots as the bases get bigger. To keep characters fresh, a character create system where players design their own bug with its own skill set depending on height,weight and features like horns, plates ect Also if players could form clans or groups that hide out in the same base that would be epic. Ps custom classes should be able to buy new weapon/armour from a shop and weapons/armour should be suitable to height,weight and features. Plus the multiplayer should be a new game. Please make my dream true creators of one of the coolest games on idevices Thanx

A MUST-HAVE!. I can't believe the free version of this game offers so much to do! The gameplay is straightforward. The graphics are nice. The characters are different and fun to play with. Addicted!. By far the greatest game I have yet to play. Spider's my favorite, those giant blades and Wolf Spider Pistols make her the ultimate badbug!

Add-ins. Like the bug heroes quest, there should be that last super weapon and also there should be a similar perk/abilities system where the health is considered a permanent perk and you get 4 optional perks. Also if there was those IAP found in BHQ and a pure survival mode then that would be even better.

Great game and i have an idea. This game is great but what I loved best is the zombies, i think you should make a game where the necromancers bring the scorpion army and all its allies back as zombies and its up to the heroes (and maybe new ones..) to save the world again. Crashing. Is it just me or is anyone else experiancing crashes whenever you use a bug bomb? Other then that great game! I just wish you could upgrade you heros between levels. That way there is actually a huge reward for replaying levels other then highscore. But still an amazing game, if only most apps in the appstore were half this good!

Best game ever. This game is by far the best game on the app store, i even have to put down Battlefield 3 so i can play this game, i just suggest more characters and maps..... Maybe a desert map with ant armies, be hives or wasp nest maps with bee armies or wasp armies... Did you forget you made this game?. I like the game but i think you people may have forgotten this app exists. The last update was in february 2012! Ive had a strange problem in-game. Sometimes im playing and i'll unlock an equip or armor. When i'm done and log out and go to play again some time later. It says i unlocked the thing i previously unlocked. So pretty much information isnt getting saved when it should be. Thats a huge problem for me and has cost you two stars. I wonder if you'll ever read this anyway.

Spent All My ITunes On This Game. Hey everyone who still supports Bug Heroes. Anyways I would like it if you bring some Mew bugs like the one on the second Bug Heroes, that would be awesome and please don't forget about Bug Heroes a few more people still got respect for you and I think everyone who's still here would enjoy it very much.

Suggestions. First of all, great game. I agree with some other people, there should be multiplayer. 2 people playing should each have 2 heroes. 3 should have 1, 4 should 1. Second, there should be a bomb fire level, where at night, it starts to flame, burning all bugs over time, along with food. All in all, BEST GAME EVER!

Can you change skills for reinforcements. I love the game but I was wondering if you could give the alternate bugs different abilities? I just feel that some of them deserve more unique feel, for example the mantis alt. The spider give him some of the spider abilities ( spawn mini spiders, drop/shoot web, poison ) but other wise a solid game.

Don't listen. You can pay for new stuff but there was a ton of stuff new that is free. They made the game free when it is easily worth $5. One of best games on any platform. I would get this game while it's free. An since you got it for free and it's usually $3 I would support the devs and buy the IAP. Game devs don't have to update. But they do in a big way. Hey guys.... Some of us is still here. I suggest making the screen wider to newer devices such as iPhone 5/6 because the screen is meant for a 4 which is considered old now. Just because Bug Heroes 2 came out doesn't mean you should totally abandon this game, because honestly I like this version a lot better, as strange as it is. Make constant updates as well, don't disappoint your customers!

Suggestion. Awesome game I just wanted to tell you I just played the reinforcement pack its amazing the only thing i would like you to do would be with the reinforcements like give them different upgrades not the exact same thing as the heroes and try to make multiplayer other than that it's great thanks I really appreciate it

Loving it. One of my favorite IOS games always trying to beat my high score this game keeps me coming back for more. The people who don't have this game should definitely take advantage while it's free. Wish there was one price or discounted price for those purchasing all the hero packs but it's ok, great job on this game guys and hope you continue to support it in the future.

Great game!!! :-):-). Really good game. Some suggestions are: Multiplayer (over Game Center maybe?). 2 or 4 player vs in the colosseum. Or team battles with 2 teams of 2 in the colosseum. Three player co-op maybe. Original maps or new multiplayer maps for all multiplayer games possibly? Another suggestion is new character packs. Maybe a hornet and a bee? Possibly a mosquito and a horsefly? These are just my ideas, but please consider using these or variations of these, ideas. Thank you for the cheap game!!:-)

Greatest game ever / character ideas. Dragonfly the shotgunner: (reinforcement, butterfly) a quick and deadly bug armed with a slow, but powerful shotgun, great for quick assault and attacking multiple armored (or high HP) enemies at once. Assassin bug the sniper (reinforcement, cockroach): a slow, long-range bug equipped with a powerful, long-range sniper rifle that can penetrate armor. Great for picking off or killing armored enemies at great distances.

Game keeps crashing. First off, I really love this game. After the Mantis release I was impressed enough to buy all the hero packs. But, I noticed that some entries in the Insectopedia went missing. Another thing is the game has been crashing alot, making me lose everything I did during that session, which is extremely frustrating. Please fix this issue and I'll give this game the 5 star rating it truly deserves.

There could be more and harder bugs in each round and 4 players playing each get control of one bug and each stash only has two turrets and are smaller so if one is destroyed the player has too defend another because grubs, maggots and different bugs will split into bigger groups to take Down the stashes And please add new enemy's

Best game ever. Bug heroes is a gamer crack! The most addicting I have ever played. Countless fun endless adventure to reach the score. Love the new updates and mixing up the new characters with the old to obtain the best team possible. Official I'm the top scorer on easy with over 350,000 points on easy (playroom). This is a 10 star game but I would love multiple player capabilities if possible.

very fun. balancing could be worked on, a bit. feels like the spider should have a way to deflect ranged attacks; this would provide a way to make her different from the beetle, as "just run out of the bullets' path" feels very inadequate at higher levels. Also there seems to be little difference between the spider and ant self-defense abilities. The price (at 2usd) feels fine for what I've gotten. stability update is welcome. Very fun.

Centipedes,Bumble Bees, and Spiders Oh My!!!. Truly refreshing game with unique blend of game genres and gameplay. This game has a little of everything and it does it well. The gameplay is fun with everything you have to do and there's 2 different game modes and 3 heroes to choose from at the same time. This is one of my fav games for all of these things. This is a really great game and is only going to get better. You have to get this game and try it out

I like it, but.... I love this game! I am addicted to it, and it's the only thing I play when I'm bored. But, it has a glitch...the glitch is, that everytime a beetle thing comes to eat your food in round 17, and it goes KA-BOOM, and it freezes and goes back to the home screen. Please fix, so that I can continue playing without the glitch

Has bugs. It is a fun game but there are quite a few bugs that need fixed. First are the frequent and unexplained crashes. Then there is the bug with it losing my profile. For the second time in a week I have to start from the beginning because my profile and stats are gone. Fortunately after a while the levels I've purchased usually return but this is very annoying. If they fix the bugs I would not hesitate to recommend this game, but as it currently is stay away!

Five star quality!! But.... This game was fun at first and seemed to give you a reason to play, which was to open up new weapons and levels. Now you have to pay $ for new stuff. That ruined it for me. I'd rather pay more upfront for a good game then have to get roped into $ packages to enjoy the game. I see more and more games that are running that scam. Too bad. Also, This game doesn't seem to have any real goal or end to the levels. They just throw more and more critters at you until you don't stand a chance and get overrun.

Great. Epic game. :) My favorite one. My only 2 complaints are the occasional crashes and mantis. Crashes are pretty self explanatory, but mantis is a much over rated hero. He's the same as beetle with less armor, and almost all his skills deal with holding still (which is far beyond useless during later rounds). No stars lost though :)

Brutally good game. The value presented by Bug Heroes is huge, the 9 characters allow for a wide variety of 3-bug teams, you can play this forever without it getting dull. Each character feels like just that, they are all distinct and not just clones. If you consider yourself any sort of iPhone gamer then either you've got this game already, you're downloading it now, or you're wrong.

great. When i was reading reviews to see if i should get it most people said it was good. Then I read the most critical and they said it really sucked. I got it and I thought it was great. I go to school the next day and I tell my friends about it. So they all get it. In about a week my whole school was talking about it. If you ask me don't listen to those critical apps, its a great game so you should at least consider getting, if you do have fun.

Awesome but has bugs. I updated this game to get the new crab hero, but every time I try to play it it crashes. In the most recent update it says they fixed the stability issues but I still can't play!!! This was one of my favorite games, so please fix. This game is great, i like survival games like this, would be awesome to have an ai bug hero to be along you, like you can tell him to go protect the stash while you a doing quests, or like go after big bugs or small bugs :D Also it is free and now full of ads which makes this more than 5 stars

Awesome Game. I Love this game and will never delete. Now since update crashes randomly. Please fix. Also sound sometimes play sometime stop. I getting annoyed with this app and may delete. Its been out to long to continue to have issues. I have iPhone 4 and iPad 2 and recent fly updated both. Thanks

Update. I think you should make bug heroes live: make a seperate game that is a player vs. Player version, and add a live version for the regular games exept bug heroes quest, also: add a gecko hero that specializing in mimicking enemies attacks and you get it when you fill in the insectopedia and unlock all the normal courses, not add on levels. 5 stars review, make bug heroes epicer!!!!

One of the funnest games around.. I love this game. It took me a while before I was able to survive past round 20 or so, but even when my games weren't all that great, I had a blast with it. There are tons of different strategies to explore with all of the abilities and weapons... I can't count how many times I've played this game, and I haven't lost interest one bit. The updates so far have been great, and I can't wait for the next ones. Definitley recommeded.

BEST. GAME. EVER.. A very fun replayable game. Defend the stash while collecting food, sounds simple, right? Wrong. You have enemies that go from slugs, to scorpions, to assassin spiders. And paying for the dlc was very much worth it. Only $3 for them. They have new maps, enemies and new characters! I hope they make more dlc!! But really, this game is fun and you should get it!!

Save request, disappointed with reinforcement pack. One of the best games in ipad. Is it possible to add a feature to save the game, so that we wont have to start from scratch everytime? Reinforcement pack changes only the appearance of the character, was expecting atleast some skill set differences. This is a rip off.

BUGGING OUT!!!!!@@@@&&&$$$"". New York Zombies is great - I played till my fingers bled, so when they came out with a new game I was excited. This is a freebie to beat all freebies! Like Backbreaker being free. This game is fun on all levels; graphics, gameplay, etc. The defense twist leaves all other defense games in the dust! I feel that NY zombies is underrated in a way - hope people support this game because it just stands out like their previous game.

Amazing!. This game is awesome! I've had this for a while now almost since the release, and I still play it. I also have Bug Heroes Quest and it's awesome too! The graphics are pretty good but could be updated. The sound is really good and I like the sound track. There's lots of content an it took a while for me to beat. I think you should add that when you save a slave, they can help you. Besides that I think this game is awesome and deserves 5 stars easy. I highly recommend this game.

I don't care if you hate bugs... get this now. I have hundreds of apps on my iPod Touch and I usually play an app 2 or 3 times, then on to a new one. Not Bug Heroes! I've played this beast so much since it released... it's EXTREMELY ADDICTING! You'll see me fighting for the colosseum mode leaderboards... long live Crazybread!

This Game Is AWESOME!!!. Iv'e been playing this game for a long time now, and i still love it! Thank You for making this game!!! But i would still like for you to put Bug Heroes 2 for devices with 5.0 and up because i'm using an ipad one and cant get bug heroes 2 cause it requires 6.0 and up. But i still like this game, Bug heroes. 👍👍👍😄😄😄

Grood game. This is an entertaining gane and you dont have to look at commerials or spend money to play. I like the 3D look and it is interesting and doesnt get boring. One time it kept ckuitting every time i opened it but i restarted my iPod and twas baq to normal. I highly recomend getting this if youre looking for a good game. If you dont like, then just delete and no harm done.

This is the best game I ever played. Loved the updates but i would rather you make more bug hero updates then new games like bug hero quest. And for the reinforcements update I would have liked to see new guns and crap you should realease an update for those who have already bought it to change those things.

My Favorite iOS Game!. I love the game and updates have fixed crashing while also adding loads of content. Dev is supporting the game well and seems to be expanding value with additional content and care pretty consistently. There is a small learning curve, but once you push through that this game is incredibly hard to put down!
