Cissp test training. I am a disabled veteran with TBI. I have trouble retaining information which on one hand is excellent for IT and any job that takes into account changing tides of technology because it changes every 3 months and along with it so does the compliances, regulations and techniques to manage it. Requiring individuals in IT to research it. Yet some of these associations or organizations create their selves avenues to make money by creating tests to take to make their selves prominent and boost of look what I have. Regardless of the certification. In a couple weeks everyone forgets it. Yet for me i need it to get a job. Because ignorant companies think it makes a better employee. So this app helps me practice and remember a little longer the correct answers. Although I graduated magna cu laude in 2 IT degrees. Also created two inventions in which my professors stole and used in the companies they work for even using the same names of systems I created. These systems are currently the top rated security systems in IT! Talk about being robbed and not compensated or credited! They know As students we don't have the money to hire a lawyer so they get away with it.

The Gold Standard. I downloaded four different practice/testing applications while preparing for my CISSP exam: two of which I paid for and two were free. I had already taken and failed the exam and I HAD to pass. So, I pulled out all the stops, using all four apps extensively during the weeks leading up to it. I can tell you that Pocket Prep was head and shoulders above the other three. Here’s how: 1- The number and quality of questions 2- The extremely simple, straight-forward user interface. 3- The daily reminders 4- The Question of The Day I highly recommend this app to anyone who’s serious about prepping for the CISSP exam! (BTW, I passed!!)

Make sure you set up an account.... Because otherwise you’ll lose your progress.

Excellent Software. The software is great. Hard to know how the questions on the test will match up.

References are rarely correct. The app seems pretty decent as a study aid. It provides the chapter and page within the official study guide where you can do further research.. However they are rarely correct.

Great App. Great app, but I wish the descriptions were a bit more detailed. Overall, still a great app with descent explanations.

Great app. I use this app to review content in 10-question segments. I’m planning on taking the test within three months, and this app helps me study constantly.

Convenient way to study. Most realistic study tool I’ve come across yet. I can study while I’m watching my kid, on breaks at work, on the toilet, etc. Questions are based on the official Sybex book which is perfect.

Passed the exam. Good app to review knowledge with an easy to use interface and explanations of answers. Although the question bank is large, this app should not be your only avenue of study and review.

Great app. Learning The detailed answer explanations in combo with repetition is key to learn the foundation of the concepts

Application Hangs all the time...!!. Application hangs in the middle of the exam and signed out of the app. Application hangs and always shows a pop up message to refresh and I loose track of my exam..!!! If we retake an old exam it is counted as a new exam??? In 600 questions I always try to rewrite the exam again it shows as I used new question on the question count.

Decent application. Unable to find some of the questions or answers in the ISC2 study guide

Effective Prep App. I have leveraged PocketPrep for CompTIA Project+ and CASP certs to successfully pass both. Currently preparing for CISSP, next PMP and finally CISM. Very thorough, effective and efficient. Read the book referenced, maintain 95%, sit and pass. Fantastic Prep Tool!!

Great training tool. Loved this little app. Very convenient while doing the daily commute. It keeps your mind on the prize and the content is very diverse. Any question I had wrong, I would use the hint and go re-read that specific subject. Very good at detecting where your weaknesses are. Highly recommend it. Good luck to all the testers.

needs updating. great app. interface is friendly and intuitive. Problem is that the test was updated in April 2018 and the references in this app reflect the older version. needs to be updated NOW

Slowness issues. Definitely some performance bugs that are only present when you less than 30 problems remaining. The exam readiness feature definitely needs major sql tuning. Please fix these performance issues.

Suuuuper buggy. Please get rid of your process of having to connect to your servers before allowing access to questions. There have been days when I could not study because of servers being down. Most of my flagged questions and past metrics have been erased. I have to almost completely start over because of your poor methodologies. Thanks

Pretty good content horrible performance. I’ve been using pocket prep to study for my CISSP and have been pretty pleased. The questions are on the easier side but it’s still very helpful for prep. My major complaint is before you can take a test you have to wait for the app to become responsive. It takes 1-2 minutes for the exam builder to load. Are the servers running under someone’s desk using windows NT?

Love this app!. It’s a great tool to study with and the additional features it provides like monitoring your overall score is so helpful. The daily question is fun and can be useful even if you’re done testing. I recommend this application for anyone studying for cissp!

Cissp. Wish a harder question more on scenario and more explanation why the answers are wrong!

CISSP Test Prep App. Very good App at testing knowledge base as I navigate through multiple content books and online video instruction.

Not cool. I paid $40 and was about 60 questions away from being done and the app has kicked me off. I try to go back in and restore my purchase to access my progress and nothing happens. I have 8 days until my exam. This is unacceptable and I deserve my money back.

Good info, not worth the full purchase. I just passed my exam, but it definitely was not from the help of this app. The free questions they give you serve as a great “here’s the concepts you should know” review, but overall, there are better CISSP test prep sources out there. I don’t recommend purchasing the additional questions. Stick with the included free ones and read the CBK.

Frequently hangs up. Very slow to update itself. Hangs up for long periods and sometimes closes the app. Very slow to update stats after a practice test.

Quick Insight to Weak Domains of CBK. Truly enjoying this app and well worth the cost. Very interesting way to stay relevant if an IT/IS pro. Altho, to my knowledge the test consists of 1,000 questions and this app is at 600 max. Thus, the rest will lean upon experience or best guess logic.

Questions seem current. Overall I feel that this is helping me prepare for the exam. I have been using the app in conjunction with reading from the authoritative source material, and things seem to match up pretty well.

Was great until.... Had been using the free version for a couple months and enjoyed it a lot. A few weeks ago I decided to pay to upgrade to the ultimate and again it was great. However, today all of a sudden I go to take a quiz and I’m no longer logged in. And it’s wanting me to create a new account despite already having an account. I eventually am able to get to an area that seems to get my account info active again and now all my data and test history is gone. I’m back to 0 and have no clue why. I went back to the App Store to look for tech support info and every time I try, it says “request denied”. Then I tried going to customer support and I got the same message “request denied”. They got me and my money apparently

Keeps Locking. I paid extra to unlock all questions. However the app is keep locking up, it isn’t showing me options to choose exam topics, matter of fact it’s blank. If I hit next, it keeps telling I must chose a knowledge section but there is nothing to select. I like the app but it’s not valuable if I can’t even select. It takes me like 6 tries of closing and opening the app. I updated the latest update and still. So frustrating!!!

Low quality questions. A lot of these questions are written and phrased poorly. With the price of the ultimate pack, I expected questions that are structured well and accurate - I had three or four in a row that were 100% disputable or inaccurate and I expect more from a test prep tool at this price point.

Not bad questions but buggy. There’s a lot of good questions on this app but there are a lot of bugs that make the app crash Please fix

Great App Before Update. Most of the explanations did not correspond to the question presented. So, when an incorrect answer was chosen, the explanation for the correct answer was for an entirely different question.

App crashes and constantly requires to login. App will consistently crash every quiz. And requires re logging in every 20 min

Passed today. I passed the cissp exam today thanks in part to pocket prep. Each question makes a reference to the official exam guide from sybex, I found this to be extremely helpful!!!

Waste of time. Just finished test. This apps question were nowhere close to the questions. Actually had me focusing in the wrong direction. Additional issues, constant reboots required to move from one section to another. Updates on readiness were not happening.

Very Helpful. I believe this was one of the key factors in helping me pass my test on the first try. Keeping track of what questions you missed by domain, is perfect to focus you where you need too.

Degraded performance with recent updates. I’m experiencing significant degraded performance with the latest updates. Lots of application hangs while it does “something” and usually restarting the app more than once is required. The content is otherwise good and when it’s working as expected, it’s a good study aid.

Completed all questions now pocket prep wants another $40. I am very annoyed that pocket prep reverted back to the free version after I answered all 700 questions Now I can’t review what I missed

Good for memorization, not for the test.. Purchased the ultimate version with all 700 questions about a month before my exam. The app is good if you want something you can carry with you to test your knowledge via memorization of topics. Outside of that, the app was essentially useless when it came to preparing for the CISSP. None of the questions come close to the format of the exam, most questions it is very easy to pick out 2 wrong answers right off the bat. If you got an answer wrong, the explanation was good and it told you why the other answers were incorrect. I was testing at an 85% overall score with 90+% in most of the domains. Not to mention the app is very buggy, it frequently would take forever to upload my question of the day, lag when I tried to take a custom exam, give me error messages that I had completed no questions in order to create an exam despite having taken all 700 questions and it would rarely show my completion of domain by percentage. Ironically as I moved closer to the exam, the issues with the app increased, forcing me to close the app 2-3 times to get it to load properly. If you are reading the Sybex book, this app is a good choice as it pulls the questions directly from the book. But overall, I’d say in terms of the quality presented to save your money and buy the sybex practice tests at a lower price.

Passed on the first attempt. I passed the CISSP today in 100 questions. My study materials were Eric Conrad’s CISSP Study Guide, CISSP Pocket Prep, & Cybrary’s Kelly Handerhan CISSP videos. I would not have been ready for the test if it weren’t for the pocket prep app. The questions are different from the exam, but cover the same material so you will be ready to take the test. I definitely recommend and will recommend to my coworkers. One area where the app can improve is to further elaborate on why the answers are wrong. I love the explanations as to why a question is right, but it is just as important to know some answers are wrong. I found that it took longer to load questions for the custom exam or quick exam as I answered all available questions, but the app never crashed so it wasn’t a major problem.

Great study aide. You won’t pass the CISSP exam with this app alone, but this is a great tool to keep a lot of the knowledge fresh in your head due to the convenience of using this whenever you have spare time.

Not a one stop shop. Don’t rely on this to get you to a certification passing score but it will help you reinforce the material.

Glitchy. I purchased the app today and for some weird reason my subscription information was deleted after restarting the app. The restore subscription option failed so I feel cheated. Buy at your own risk.... I’m hoping to get my $39 refunded.

Could have more questions. Given that this app cost so much and the test is a monster, there should be 4x the amount of practice questions. Also, it would be nice to pick questions from certain domains in order to hone in on weak domains.

Buggy. App is super buggy and hangs often. The content seems pretty good/accurate but for $40 it better be.

Lags. Love the test bank but very buggy and lags a lot. More times than not the app shuts down and then when I reopen it I have to log back in for it to only freeze again and then shut down..

Super slow and buggy. Terrible user experience, graphics don’t work.. Questions are superficial and do not reflect the test. Save your money and make some flash cards. This brought little value to helping me pass the CISSP exam.

Useless to me. This app resets itself to free mode every Sunday night. This means that it doesn’t open automatically. I have to restore my account again to ultimate mode. My previous works are cancelled as well this prompting me to start from the beginning. No simple intelligence built in to it. I regret paying for it honestly. Why should I go through the stress of repeating exams and not seeing some others to review and when the weekend comes, it refreshes and I will start from the beginning again. Nonsense app.

You have a bug in the exam builder. You have a bug in the exam builder that fails to display study areas, which leads to not being able to adjust number of questions. Upon refreshing, the app hangs. You're welcome.

Useful, but with reservations. This app is a pleasant way to practice for the exam when you have a few free minutes. It features 600 questions that cover the full range of the CISSP Body of Knowledge. The answers are referenced to the practice reference materials. Once you finish all of the questions, the App will automatically re-test you preferentially on questions that you have gotten wrong. Several of the questions have answers that I consider to be incorrect. Even though the question answers are referenced, I think that the references do not apply in the hypothetical proposed in the question. The App itself has some usabiity problems. Mostly, the layouts did not fit on my Iphone 5S when I enabled accessibility features, and the color choice was poor — black text on a white background would have been better. I found many of the questions on this app to be significantly harder than those on the actual exam. Thus, this app was a good way to practice for the exam, and I passed on my first try. I recommend the app, but I wish that more attention was paid to both question and app quality.

I paid for this app last year Update:Must Have CISSP study app!. I made the mistake of writing a review before reading up on how to restore my in-app purhcases. Going to Settings within the app and restoring puchcase added me back to my premium account settings. Sorry. The app is well worth the initinal investment. Great for when you have downtime at the office or during your lunch break to catch up on your studies. It is a must have CISSP study app!

Don't waste your money. First of all this is not consolidated to the new 8 domains. The test interface may show only 8, however all test questions are from the older 10 domains. In addition many of the questions are copied (word for word) from sources such as Shon Harris, McGraw Hill, and other test engines. $25 for this app is robbery.

Passed on the first try!. I got this app to help me prepare for the 2015 CISSP. It is very handle and defintelty got me ready for the exam, both in terms of knowledge and also multiple choice test taking skills. I thought the questions were a little harder than the actual exam, which is good. My average score on the app going into the exam was 70%, and I passed the CISSP on my first try. Woth the $30.

Good App to practice. This seems to be a great app as a supplemental source to study for the CISSP. The questions are challenging but for the price, it's worth it!

CBK based question selection misleading. When selecting which CBK to do a practical test, the question bank still selects questions from other CBK's. For example if selecting only Access Controls, your would still get questions from Software Security. Wouldn't recommend for focused testing in subject areas. Although overall, the most intuitive interface out there.

Good practice. Easy to use during downtime to continue to practice for the exam.

Good app, a bit overpriced. I'm happy with this app so far, but the price was too high for me to give 5 stars. I enjoy the convenience of having a bank of review questions available on my iPhone; however, I expect to face more difficult test questions on the exam. I still plan to use another test bank on my laptop for further preparation.

Not worth $30 .. This is app is ok but I much rather get the new official book from SYBEX which I did and it comes with 1400 questions & a test engine . If you must have an app buy CISSP for Dummies is only $10 and has at least as many questions if not more & the quality is solid

Valuable addition to your CISSP toolbox. This application is free to try with 25 questions included. You can purchase an additional 600 questions for $30. The convenience of having CISSP practice anytime anywhere you are is going to keep the topics at the top your mind. A few questions don't seem correct but every question has a link to a page number and a chapter in the official study guide seventh edition. There's also a nice feature we can pick just a specific sections to test on but it doesn't seem to work consistently. At least you can flag questions for review later and even create Tess just from flight questions. Application is well worth the money. I don't know why they don't proofread better some of the links I'm still giving it four stars.

Passed CISSP!!!. Passed it folks. Practiced with all ALL the time! Very detailed explanations for each question/answer and I liked the study and time modes in the app.

Beware, a wage of time and money. This app looks well constructed and has lots of content. However, the content is NOT legitimate. I have now take hundreds of questions with this app, and I am convinced this material was gathered by someone on their own without regard to authoritative CISSP sources.

Good for short downtimes. This app is good when you have a minute or two of downtime and want to test your skills. I wish the question bank was larger though. One problem I wish they would fix is that when the explanation is longer than the screen real estate, it gets cut off. I haven't figured out a way to scroll down to see the rest of the explanation. Not really helpful if I can't see why I got an answer wrong!

Good study app when it works properly. The developers for this upstairs and had to get it fixed because it keeps forgetting who I am then I have to continue as guest and finally get to the point where I can re-enter my username and password so to load up my history That’s precious study time list doing this every week. Please fix it. I paid for Premium.

Good App for Studying CISSP.. This a good app that is easy to use and to customize your areas of study.

Good design poor questions. The app is good looking and well designed. However the testing engine and questions are very poor. After passing my cissp I wished I'd have not bought this app. It actually did more bad than good. The questions aren't similar to the wording or level on the test.

Excellent. I've taken about 100 of the questions so far. Reasonably challenging. What impresses me the most is the solid and highly functional interface. I'm glad I purchased this app. Also, every few versions it improves on content and interface.

Great study app. The latest release has been a big help and improvement to the earlier questions. I love keeping track of my progress and glad a daily question is finally available. I use it on my phone and iPad. One suggestion would be to allow landscape mode for the iPad. Otherwise great all around.

Good app. I found this app useful in preparing for the CISSP. I liked the Question of the Day feature. I think the questions were fairly representative of the test. I wouldn't use this as the sole prep tool, but it was a good complement.

Helped me pass. App helps prep you for the exam. Not an exam dump, which would be against the (ISC)2 code of ethics, but a good representation of the types of questions in the exam.

Good content - but the app needs to be fixe. The content is good and very helpful. Their phone app is an absolute waste. They charge $40 for an app that is filled with bugs. Customer service said there was some problem with my original account and made me make a new account (without extra cost). New account has same trouble. The app doesn’t account for repeated questions. They say they do but the app doesn’t. Loading takes forever. Crashes one in three times and many more. Again, the content is great and relates well to the official guide but the app is very poorly written! Very disappointed with such an expensive app! Update (7/25/19): every single feature of the app is broken: 1. Main page shows 71 total questions remaining. But if i go to the best/worst subject page and count the number of remaining questions per domain, it adds out to be 200+ 2. Questions in practice tests are constantly repeated but the total questions increments 3. When you load practice test, 3/5 times it shows no more questions. Reload and the exam is loaded 4. If you click anything on the app, it take 5-10 sec to load (at least) 5. Go to history and click on any past exams. Then click on the domain, all questions are same! (Wth!) This app is so so so badly developed, I cannot fathom that they are not even fixing it!

Not too thrilled. I mastered the questions on this app, but when I took the exam I found that there was very little relevance. I feel like it was a waste of money for the CISSP exam. It could be useful for someone preparing for SEC+.

Fantastic app, modern interface. This app fits my needs perfectly; I was sold immediately on the demo alone (the demo is 10 random questions from a 25 question pool). The immediate feedback option is fantastic, and the Explain button provides the justification for the answers; I haven't noticed any grammatical errors or incongruities common in these apps. The strategies and reminders are kinda worthless, but let's face it, I downloaded this app to demo the questions and interface, and I was sold immediately. QOTD and using social media to "unlock" bonus questions is a nice touch for users short on funds, but if you're serious, you want to get down to business with the full version. The in-app purchase to unlock the full version is significantly more expensive than other apps I've wasted money on, but the simple fact that this app conforms to modern app designs makes it well worth it.

Best CISSP app. Very helpful

Incorrect referral to ISC2 study guide. I was glad to find this app and give it a try...however the first question I was given had a completely incorrect reference back to the ISC2 study guide book...question about CIS metric for application security and it references chapter 10 which is Physical Security Requirements...looks like a well designed app but I am hesitant to purchase it with a mistake like this on the very first question

Good practice. This app has a good bank of practice questions with excellent explanations. Just understand that these are practice questions. DO NOT expect to see these questions on the exam. On the new CISSP exam format there are drag and drop and hot spot questions. They are not represented here. This app also needs some questions regarding calculating ALE, SLE and ARO. You will see this on the exam as well.

Q O T D. Question of the day is a great tool. The shirt quizzes are excellent. No app is worth $29.

Liking it. I would like a couple of things. 1. It would be great if it would remember my settings for the practice exams so I don't have to re-choose the options I want every time. 2. After reviewing an exam, it's not very clear how I get back to the main menu. Other than that, I really like this app.
