💸 Want to send money abroad for free?

Impressed with cost. I feel like I am able to review so many questions for a small upfront cost rather Tina paying hundreds for a Q bank. Questions aren’t totally perfect but more than good enough to help me learn.

Great for CCRN. Bought this app in preparation for taking the CCRN about a month before my test date. Great app to keep yourself on track studying, and with 800 practice questions it was easy to get a handful of questions in a day. You can also flag questions for review, and the explanations are nice- they’ll address why each option is/isn’t correct. Overall I would recommend this to my friends and colleagues. It helped me tremendously in passing my test. Cheers!

Truly worth it! Passed my test today!. The questions helped really train my brain to be in “test taking mode” I only purchased the monthly subscription and after 2 months of quizzes, I took my med surg certification test and passed 💃🏻💃🏻💃🏻 Highly recommended!

Good app. I liked the app. It was easy to use and it had relevant information. I used the app to study for the CEN exam which I passed on the first try. This app is good to use in conjunction with other study materials.

PMHNP. This app is really convenient and helped me pass the PMHNP boards on the first try. I love that I can log in on a computer and use it on my phone. The material is really helpful and relevant to the boards. Rationales are to the point. Thank you !!

Great for RNC-NIC Review!. Love the questions and rationales (and the fact they come from Merenstein’s text). The question bank is a great size and I love the comparison to how the community is doing relative to my performance. The new UI (iPad) is nice and sleek, but I sincerely wish for a landscape mode for those of us who use our iPads with keyboards while studying.

Ok. App is ok, it is convenient, but the NBCRNA version has tons of incorrect questions. Most the select all that apply tell you how many to select, if you do that, you get it wrong because it is always one more or one less than it says. For the $$ the questions should not have mistakes like this. Content focuses heavily on very obscure topics as well.

Convenient. I am currently using this app for study for the adult CCRN exam. I like how easy it is to study, anywhere I have my phone, and that I can go back to the book content using the referenced page numbers. The only downside I’ve noticed so far are occasional typos and misspelled words, but these don’t seem to contradict the information in the book. Great study app!

Med Surg Certification. I used this to study for my med surg certification through the ANCC. I passed first try and this was my main study tool. Answering practice questions is the best way to get into the test taking mode and knowing where I needed to brush up.

Not useful for ANCC MEDSURG-BC. this app has 100s of very specific, nuts-and-bolts type question and the ANCC exam is none of that. I walked out of the exam within the last hour and can tell you it’s composed of patient education, delegation and priority questions. I chose Pocket Prep due to all the good reviews, but in hindsight they’re all for different exams. The Saunders NCLEX prep, or searching “med surg” or “rn-bc” on Quizlet is much more useful. I did all 750 Pocket Prep questions and none of it appeared on the exam, don’t waste your time or money. Good luck!

Love this app. I really needed something to help me study that was handy and this is it! I like the set up and ease of use. The rationales are great and it was Great to see that Ol’Johnny Nagelhout is referenced a lot, so I KNOW this is good information to use!

Best resource for PMHNP certifications. This is the best PMHNP certification prep-program l have seen so far. User friendly and great source of required knowledge. Pocket prep makes the preparation, hassle free, fun, and provides easy to understand review and explanations of questions. I absolutely love this app.

PCCN Prep. I personally don’t feel like this app helped a ton with preparing me for the type of questions I saw on the PCCN exam. I felt like the majority of the questions were basic knowledge questions, not critically thinking questions. There weren't very many questions in regards to patient symptoms that make you figure out the diagnosis, then treatment which is what the bulk of the PCCN exam is. I can’t speak for the other exams but I wouldn’t buy this again for future certifications.

Nurse. I absolutely love the practice questions and explanations. I study best by practicing test questions. It’s great that I have the app on my phone and can answer questions throughout the day when I have time. I hope I will pass my test by reviewing these questions

Love it! Used it for my RN-BC. I just wanted to inform you guys that I passed my certification test the first time just practicing with your app! Thank you so much! I had upgraded to the premium access. It gives you 500 practice questions. You can set when your test date it not only remind you every day that you need to practice but let’s you see how many days you have left till the exam. Different modes to practice-10 question, timed like five minutes when you’re waiting in line somewhere, weakest subject. The statistics are accurate! It made me confident going into my test. I practiced until all my subjects were above 80%. This is a very good investment! Very useful app. Very user friendly

Excellent app!. Great question bank, can use it a number of ways, and gives good explanations. I suggest it to all the students I work with.

Totally worth it! Passed CNOR first try. I used this for my CNOR and passed on the first time. I really like how it keeps track of all your progress, has rationales, and references. I highly recommend this app if you’re taking your CNOR!

Helped a lot. I just took the CNOR exam, and passed the first time. I used a combination of methods: AORN prep course, CCI review book with questions, and this app. I feel in general, these questions are more in depth and detailed than the actual exam was, but it helped me get into the “best choice” mindset and reviewed topics I wasn’t familiar with.

Passed my CNOR. I passed my CNOR exam this morning! I reviewed all 800 practice questions. I really like the explanations and reference pages for further information. Worth it!

Best NP app. Sincerely believe this app is the reason I passed boards. You can take hundreds of practice exams but if you don’t understand why you received an incorrect answer, it does not do you much good.

Discrepancies and Incorrect Answers. I don’t typically write reviews but felt compared to share. I’ve been using this app for a couple weeks in conjunction with reading CCI’s exam prep book (the administrators of the test) and have found many incorrect answers and discrepancies. I have emailed my questions to the support team and they have so far rewritten 1 question. This is respectable and the only reason I gave 2 stars. I’m not saying every question/answer is incorrect but take their answers with a grain of salt and trust your books/sources.

Not Helpful and Expensive. I downloaded this app to prepare for my CNOR certification exam. I hesitated to download it because it was $20 for one month and that in itself is absurd. I went ahead and downloaded it because I wanted to have the ease of studying right from my phone. I had it for a few weeks and then the app updated and lost all of my progress, annoying, but I kept using it. Since it lost all of my progress though, I began getting repeat questions. A few of the questions too are not aligned with the CCI CNOR information making some of these questions have incorrect answers. These questions are a lot harder than anything needed to know for the exam and ended up being the least helpful of my study materials. I would not recommend this app. If it was free or maybe $5 it could be, but absolutely not worth $20.

Great! Passed CMSRN. I used this app to study for my CMSRN certification and I passed! Great study questions with good rationales. I do wish that the rationales provide more pictures on some answers though to better understand. I would do question sessions and just answer and then read the rationale to process the correct answer. Great app, bought the premium so I can access all the cool features! I recommend!

Passed CPC Exam!. Finding practice questions informative! At the same time, learning a lot! Will continue to evaluate my weaknesses. Their stat view help me go through where I can improve. Thank you!

Passed with 87%. This app was instrumental in my success. It's easy to use, gives great rationales, and I found it to be more difficult than the exam (which is great, be better prepared)

Passed PMHNP Certification Exam. I typically don’t write reviews but decided to write one because this App really helped me in studying for the ANCC PMHNP Cert Exam (which I passed on my first trial). I loved the fact that I could access questions any time and any place using my mobile devices including my iPad. I bought the premium version with 800 questions. I highly recommend this as an excellent study aid - it’s also cost effective. Well worth the investment!!!

10/10 Recommend. Used for 1 month for PNP Primary Care boards. Loved all of the content. Great questions and in-depth rationale. Passed on the first try!

Why T/F?. I probably would have given this app a full 5 stars but I do not want to practice T/F test taking when it’s not that way on the test. I paid for a qtr subscription so I had enough for my study time and I was disappointed that I kept getting T/F questions. I can’t practice my test taking skills when it’s not set up the way the exam is. I stopped using the app because of this. Wasted my money.

Not quality questions. The CEN questions are more so general nursing questions rather than specific to emergency nursing. Additionally, the questions are not well thought out or well written. Not ENA or BCEN quality. It feels like the author just scrambled to find 800 questions that could fit the criteria of CEN questions but isn’t familiar with the actual test. I feel I was misled and wish for a refund. Here’s an example of a “CEN Question”. “Which female organ is responsible for protecting a fetus?”

Meh. Attempting to use this for CCRN. Questions are kind of okay. The rationales are not good. They are written to make you remember the answer to the question, not actually understand why the answer is what it is. A lot of rationales just restate the answer, not actually explain the content in depth or as well as I feel like it should. I feel like some of the content is incorrect too.

Pocket Prep for CMSRN Review. I purchased the Pocket Prep 3 month subscription in March when I decided to take my exam! Because of the black-out exam dates this year due to the blueprint change, I wanted to take my exam before 5/15 so I only had 2 months to study when I purchased the app! I made it through all 1000 questions and loved using them for practice! Each question provides rationale after. There are a lot of features I like, such as studying only missed questions, new questions only, or your ‘weakest subject.’ It reminded me a lot of using UWorld to study for the NCLEX! I’ve had my RN since 2019 so it’s been about 4 years since nursing school and this app helped all the knowledge I don’t use everyday trickle back in! I passed the CMSRN exam on my first try! Good luck! 😁

So far so good. Have enjoyed the easy of being able to take a quick test when I have down time. Feedback is also helpful.

Very expensive. I hope they charge less, especially if it is only for 12 months and more reasonable with the inflation nowadays. Some app offers a lifetime membership. The point here is, in reality, even if one paid for a lifetime app once they passed the test, they are mostly not going to use the app again .

Worth it!!. I absolutely love this app. I’m in school for FNP doing my pediatric class so I set the app to the pedi NP exam. There’s hundreds of practice questions from the Burns’ book which is what my school is using! It’s been great practice for school and I see myself improving my knowledge every day. I love how there are different exams you can study for by switching back and forth. I’m going to use this again to study for my FNP boards. The rationales are very helpful, and the app user-friendly and affordable with many different subscription options. One thing I would like different is to be able to sort practice questions by subject, like cardiac or respiratory, etc. A bug that I noticed is when I click on the question of the day notification from the Lock Screen, it doesn’t open the app.

Helped me pass the PNCB PNP exam!. I loved the convenience of this application. One of the best things to do to prep for the exam is to take tons and tons of practice questions. It was great to be able to open the app no matter where I was or what I was doing to take a quick 10 question quiz or answer the QOD. While some questions are repetitive, this helped me. I also appreciated the rationales and the sources to back them up. I used this app, the “purple book” (Silbert-Flagg), and took the NAPNAP PNP review course, and passed my boards the first attempt!

Passed on the first try!. 5 years ED experienced RN here. I pretty much solely studied with this and any time I felt I needed extra information, I used the Sheehy’s Manual of Emergency Care, which is what most of the questions refer to in rationales. I had a couple questions I disagreed with, and when providing proof, they responded and changed the questions. It was a great experience studying with this and it’s awesome that it syncs up to the web browser version. Loved being able to create my own exams based on missed questions or worst subjects. I did all 1000 questions twice, and I feel like that prepared me a ton. Highly recommended app! Study when you’re bored, and just do a quick 10!

Great resource. Used this app along with other study materials and passed the CCRN on the first try. Very simple to use format. Easy to use on the go.

So helpful!. The questions on this app were so similar to the exam questions, including format and content. Passed the exam on my first attempt!

CCRN Prep Not Accurate. Would love to give this prep a better rating for CCRN prep, but unfortunately it’s not really close to the question format/phrasing/content seen on the official test. I have used the EMS prep app for both EMT and Paramedic, and they were both very close to the test; however, this is a long shot from adequate study for the CCRN. I took all 800 questions 2x on top of regular prep, so I was very familiar with the type of questions and content covered in the app. Unfortunately this is not the resource for CCRN question banks.

CCRN was way harder. The questions are fun for here and there and my friends and I enjoyed answering them at work from time to time but I would say the CCRN had WAY harder questions!!! I would recommend getting the practice test question set from AACN. Those were way more intense.

This app works!!!. I studied this app for 3 months before taking my CEN exam. I passed with ease. I felt prepared and ready when test day came. I would definitely invest in this app if I were you! It’s so convenient to open it up and practice instead of scrolling social media. Great app!!

Passed my exam. this app is great if you just use the questions you are sure to pass!!!

Fix Bug. When you reset progress the questions you previously flagged still show up when you start a quiz. Please fix when possible.

2023 PMHNP Exam. I downloaded the app and loved it. You answer questions and it gives the correct answer and rationale so you can read up on every topic as you go. I did ask 1,200 questions and then went back and answered all incorrect questions until I was at 100% correct. I will also say that I created my own study guide and studied off of some quizlets in addition to this app. I did pass the first attempt. I know that some of the information on the app directly led me to correct answers on the exam, though not exact questions obviously.

Informative and helpful. Quite concise t to have this on my mobile phone. You can pretty much practice anywhere you take your phone

Best Question Test Prep. Used this for a month, after taking a review course that only had 10 questions. I used it daily and found that the ideas and concepts were the same on the CCRN test. This definitely helped me pass.

Great questions. I used the app to prepare for the PNCB- PC exam. I passed! I found the questions very helpful. I liked the QOTD and the ability to see my stats. I would give it 5 stars, but unfortunately the app kicked me out half the time and then forgot my Premium Subscription until I quit and reopened. So the app is problematic but the content is great.

Helped me pass!. Overall I liked how easy it was to use and I appreciated the in depth explanation of answers. I also liked how I could select my weakest subject to study from. Ultimately I know this app helped me pass my CEN! I wish you had a prep for TCRN.

Love it. Rarely do I write reviews but I have used pocket prep for so many nursing tests now (ATI, NCLEX-RN, and now the CCRN) and I have been so pleased each time. The app is well-designed and user friendly and has set me up for success continually. I will keep using pocket prep in the future. Love it!!

Trash questions, don’t waste time or money. I’m a laid back guy, and could count on one hand the number times I’ve actually written a review on something. Worst CCRN app I’ve used yet. Questions all arise from seemingly the same source per the explanation citations. Most of the questions are entirely too easy. The remainder are completely opinionated and not backed by any standards of care or peer reviewed literature. Prime example that actually made me write this review was “What is the patients and families biggest need upon being admitted to the ICU?” Per this whack app and singular source, it was that the Pt & family be reassured they are receiving the best care possible, two even dumber answers and I selected begin planning discharge needs *Standard of Care*. Seriously worst purchase I’ve ever made on App Store.

It’s ok. Good concept, but some information is incorrect and questions have typos. Some questions are worded strangely, too. I think it’s good value and has been overall helpful for review, but the inaccuracies make me question my knowledge which puts me off track.

Not that reflective of actual exam. A lot of these questions do not show up on the exam at all.

RN. This is Exactly what I needed to pass my CEN! Thank you!

Good format, bad questions. Do not use for CFRN. Good for CCRN. The questions do not hold any useful application to the flight environment and are poorly worded compared to PDB nurse education study guides. However, the format is excellent. Very user friendly

OLD MATERIAL!. Be cautious! The material in this app has not been updated to reflect new testing material! Questions are based on literature from 2012-2014!

CEN. Helped me pass the CEN exam on my first try!

LOVE IT, BUT WAITING FOR THE IPAD VERSION.. GREAT NEW LAYOUT. LOVE THE NEW FEATURES. BUT, NEED AN IPAD VERSION TO THIS APP.

RN. Excellent program to help with passing the CCM!!!

Meh. Good to pass the time but don’t expect to glean anything useful from the rationales or poorly written questions.

Passed my CNOR. Thank you for this wonderful app! Made me ready and all geared up for the exam. Easy to use and understand rationales. Continue helping other nurses succeed!!!

Worst questions ever. I have been an NP for 14 years and the practice questions given here for the AANP are horrible. They do not reflect the level of knowledge expected of NPs or realistic clinical situations. As a former nursing professor and curriculum & test designer I would not recommend this app or Fitzgerald content to anyone.

Love it! I passed. I passed on the first try! It’s a great app! I’m so glad I did it . It’s worth the money 🥰

Review. This app is amazing for studying!

Passed CCRN 1st time. This app is amazing!! I only used this to study. Scored over 100! Thanks!!!

Okay. Looking for a full test, only has 10 question quizzes that I can find so far. Great explanations.

Except. Please Do not use except or isolation questions. Not in ccrn test

Very helpful!. I passed first try with the help of this app and a review course.

Review. Extremely convenient and resources.

Exam prep. Very useful sight to prepare for the medical/surgical certification exam.

Compared to AACN. The questions are reasonably similar to those Ipurchased from the AACN site, but could be more similar in specificity. It seems there’s always one stand-out correct answer with these, whereas AACN questions make me think more.

CNOR. Very realistic question, very similar to the test good scenarios, it helps me to pass my CNOR

Great App. The questions are similar to that of the ANCC exam and the explanations are clear. This is a must in preparation for the boards.

CCRN prep. I used this app for about a month getting ready to take the CCRN. There are 800 questions with rationals so you get exposed to things you might never see in your ICU. I used this app as well as YouTube videos and passed.

CNOR pocket prep. CNOR pocket prep is great tool to prepare CNOR exam. I utilized this pocket prep for 2months and I passed the exam.

RN BC(Med surg). The questions are not situational and is more technical. There are few situational questions but not many. Some questions are repeated as well. I compared the questions against ANCC sample questions, the ANCC review book and Lipincott, this app is subpar. It is not worth the purchase. I regret buying it. I wish I could get my money back.

Awesome rationals!. This is very helpful!

Can not download. I have tried over and over to download this without success!! What is the deal

Review. Helpful on the review questions with good explanation

Game Changer. Combining pocket prep with heavy use of the purple book we’re integral in passing my PMHNP boards. Cant recon this app strongly enough.

DJN. On spot questions. Thorough explanation of answers.

Helpful for PNCB exam. Huge question bank - very helpful and thorough rationales. Passed my PNCB exam on my 1st try.

Question. Grateful to have app. Helping out during clinical to have questions.

Worth it.. I also used the ascensia book, but I feel this was a better resource. Dropped $20 for a month of review questions, and it’s a great way to practice anywhere. I didn’t study the first time I took the CEN and failed, 104 questions right and i needed 106/150. After using these two resources I scored 124/150.

Not worth the money. I had high expectations for this app but I’m really disappointed with it. It’s is a not a good learning resource. The rationals for many of the questions do not provide any real explanation or better understanding of the content. I’ve done over 200 questions so far and most of the questions are poorly written or poorly worded and some questions are absolutely useless. Treatment for a pt injured by a sting ray? Ph level of the vagina? These things will not be on the CEN. Save your money, watch Mark Boswell’s and Jeff Solheim’s videos on YouTube, and get the ENA practice question booklet.

Success!. Passed my CCRN with confidence using this app! Great stats and study platform!! Thank you!

Updates link to the wrong App. When I attempt to download the Pocket Prep PMHNP App, I am instead directed to the Pocket Prep CCRN App.

Great Review of Content. A through review and f the content. I like that the company provides a reference in the rationale.

Great App!. Helped me pass the CCRN! Great interface and relevant questions.

Wont restore. Purchased original app for CEN review. Tried to restore purchase, states it doesn’t exist. Now you want to charge a subscription?

Great For CEN. Just took my CEN and passed with a score of 121/150. I averaged an 80% on the actual exam, but on the app, I averaged a 75%. I also paid for the CEN exam practic test put out by ENA and got 80% on those. The questions on this app are hard. If you're getting above 70 on most of your exams, you're doing pretty well. Being that there aren't many great *cheap* resources to study for CEN, this app is definitely worth the subscription.

Priceless. PMHNP Board exam.
