Great Magazine. Very well done. The subjects, content and graphics combine to make this one of the best magazine I've ever read.

Make it readable on iPhone. It looks great but I can't read it on my iPhone. There is no option to make the page for the screen.... I can't use the magnifying glass can I? Great info otherwise if you don't mind zooming in on each line you read. Please fix that and I will subscribe

Can't access. Great magazine but I can't access past issues I purchased. I have contacted customer service but no one seems to help resolve the problem. Also, not updated for Retina display. Text is a little fuzzy when zooming in.

Impossible to download, sound bite history. This app is the most frustrating of the myriad publications I subscribe to. It never downloads on the first try. It takes dozens and dozens of tries to get a magazine to download and even then most do not download. The publish doesn't care. You can't cancel during the subscription period and it auto renews immediately (so you're screwed). AVOID THIS PUBLISHER. DO NOT SUBSCRIBE! The magazines themselves are mostly images. The material covered seems random, disconnected much of the time. The actual text is sound bite drivel in size and quality. It's a pricey nibble. You can Google or Wikipedia much better information. If the magazines downloaded properly like every other publication, many of which are far more dense with quality writing and images I wouldn't have so much time to think about how little the few pages of each issue actually deliver that is when I can actually get the magazine to download. Look elsewhere.

Not a Good Buy. This publisher will nickel and dime you the whole way. Subscription covers current issues only. Past issues cost $3.99/each. Many publishers give you access to back issues while your subscription is active. Special issues cost $8.99.

Disappointed. The magazine is okay. I like the visuals and I think they do a nice job with the short history provided on their topics. I like more in depth analysis, but this is my personal preference. However, I really dislike how they have all these "special issues" that cost extra money. I would rather pay one price and get all issues than to feel like I am being "nickeled and dimed" on a magazine for which I have an annual subscription. For these reasons I decided not to renew my subscription and am looking into other history magazines.

Does NOT include "special" issues of back issues. I was disappointed to see that the subscription does not include access to any Special issues or the back issues. Those cost $3-$8 EACH. I wish I had know that before paying $33 for a year's subscription.

APHistoryTeacher. Good articles, written in a layperson friendly manner. Would appreciate some additional 16th and 17th century European Continental coverage! Would recommend to all fans of history.

Mostly happy. I love history and love reading these magazines. With that being said, I hate the extra "special issues". I would prefer to pay a bit extra for the yearly subscription. As in other reviews, I do feel nickel and dimed and feel cheated. I am on a fixed income and it is not much so I cannot afford to purchase the extra, that's where the "cheated" come from. Bottom line, I enjoy the magazines.

Beware lost purchases. This app updated in March 2017 and refused to download some of the magazines I had previously purchased no matter how many times I tried their instructions. Email to developer only responded to by auto response. Called to UK to talk to them and the developer offered zero help. Buyer beware.

Doesn’t work, breaks iTunes. On iPad. Not updated in years

Wrong. This app is a scam and should not be downloaded for any reason. I have many apps with in app purchases. Often I do buy them. But this app offers nothing but the chance to pay more. There is zero content here and it just is a cash register to get your money. For this reason I will not be able to trust anything they write since it's misleading from the start. Make note of the publisher and steer clear due to lack of honesty.

Meh.. Decent content. Consistently late to publish. Enjoy the articles. Dislike the supporting illustrations most of the time. Meh.

All About Awesome!. This Magazine is extremely helpful, to older kids its a place to learn. You can learn a HUGE amount from one issue! When you get older you can reuse old issues to provide information on an essay, assignment or even to read up on a certain historical moment for a pop quiz! It provides outstanding study material. It's written in a high class, but still readable view point, and it's easy to flip through and get the answer to a burning question. You know what I rated it, so you know I HIGHLY recommend it! Great content. But they need to work on the resolution. It gets blurry when pinching and zooming

Horrible app, wonderful content. Terrific content. BUT the app is glacial slow and constantly freezes. Not worth the frustration and that’s too bad. Everytime i open it today my screen gets covered by some Black Friday ad. The ad is the only reliable presence here.
