Great Job Marcus!. This app allows people to learn things, that at this day and age should be some what common knowledge about the routes our personal information goes when it leaves our devices. It shows common people what to look for in regards to security. You have left nothing out when it comes to descriptions of the tools and how to use them. One question though. Will the use of any of the tools make us a target if we were not before? Other than things that are illegal or morally wrong, is there any cautions you could give us on what we shouldn’t do with this app? Anything that might throw up flags on servers we query?

Total Rip-Off. This app stole my money! I paid for it a few years ago via a one-time App Store purchase and could use all of the functionality included. HOWEVER, now they have switched to a subscription model and the fact that I paid for a lifetime license previously does not matter. There is no way to restore my purchase in the app. I’ve seen other unhappy reviewers responded to by the new owners of the app, being told to email them to get it sorted out. But this seems predatory as it makes getting what you already paid for difficult and exclusive to those who complain. If people didn’t know that they had to reach out, they might just roll over and buy the subscription anyway, giving even more profit to the new owners who clearly do not care about their existing customer base.

Used to be good.. Used to be basically the best collection of tools of its kind. Looks like the original dev sold it, and the new owner has gutted it. Some tools (like shodan) have been removed, and many of the other useful stuff is now locked behind a new subscription scheme. Users who paid for the app originally are now locked out of the features, and the future of the app doesn't look great. The new T&C even look like a copy paste (great quality control) from another app that had weekly subscription costs.

Does not honor past app purchase. I bought this app previously and have used it for quite some time. They have since moved to a subscription model around the time I believe its ownership was transferred to the current developer. Well, I have no license according to the new version of software. I contacted the app support and yhet said they were going to fix it in a few days with a release . That was on January 16, 2024. It wasn’t fixed. I emailed on February 1, 2024 asking what the status was and that I still couldn’t use their app that I bought a perpetual license for previously. That brings us here. I wanted to avoid leaving a bad review but feel that I now have no choice but to do so. If this gets resolved, I will change my review accordingly, but not being able to use software I already paid for is unacceptable and merits a bad review.

The last Network app you will ever need to use!. Edited September 23,2017. I wish I could give this App a sixth star. I continue to use it all the time and I recommend it to all of my computer and network administrators friends. If you're like me you have tried almost every app out there and paid for the same crap over and over again. When all I ever needed was here all along. Hands down this is the best and most versatile Network app and then some. Save your time and money and enjoy doing everything you need to with your Network here, and be a good friend and tell your friends. If you want to make some of those people that aren't your friend a lot more fun to be around tell them too, they'll thank you.

I love, love, love YOU …. You are the only resource that has let my understanding how deeply my privacy can be invaded. No more victim. It’s an absolute necessity for people who are outgrowing the Menagerie of being tooled. I still don’t know much but because of this app, I’m curious about what it would be like to build my own computer.

Super useful net/sec tools. I’ve loved how this app has evolved over the years, and my adding a review and rating is long overdue. The tools in this app have been extremely useful and helpful to me for a long time. While it won’t replace my trusty laptops and various OSes, it’s so convenient on-the-go. Sitting in an airport, hotel, cafe, unplanned site visit, etc. Highly recommend. I can see it’s a labor of love for the developers.

Amazing Analytical Application. This application is an amazing asset! Cleanly designed and highly functional. I can’t thank the developer enough! Note to Apple: it would be very helpful if the company could stop blocking beneficial options to your developers and customers. The sensor data viewer capabilities of this app were very useful and insightful. Why would you have the developer remove this functionality when it clearly would not impact safety or privacy in any meaningful way… There is no need to continue to strip away interesting and useful tools… Also, MAC Address being blocks from view on the network scan… Why block this when so many other devices can easily view the same data??

App-based Networking Tool Necessity. As a networking specialist, NET-Toolbox is fantastic when it comes around to connectivity. Easily check all types of networking items as well as connect to web devices and SMB severs in seconds. Honestly, I pay for a few Apps and usually for a reason. By far, the price has paid for itself and this is my first written review in the App Store. NET-Toolbox even gives you a few hints about how Apple handles your data on devices you have this App installed. The developer is engaged, updates regularly and has not paid or asked me to leave this review. Highly recommend.

No need to get into all the details of Network Toolbox and the time consuming, complex, and still coming through each year updated and in compliance with the App Stores (absurd) rules, reasons, and intentions. Awesome app. This app is for a pro and novice and gave me the information to identify all paths the WiFi and the cellular network are taking. And was able to identify route and location of each trail that this was taking to show the route of my cell and WiFi network. This was critical for our security measures.

Really really impressive. I needed a reliable way to test a new internet connection setup and found this app. I have to say I’m really impressed. It does everything you could need in a mobile tool for testing networks, and the reviews are right on the money. I love that it’s a simple paid functional app, and not trying to sell me something every step of the way. You won’t need anything else if you have this one.

Pretty Great. Great for a professional IT use. I was an early subscriber and it continuously gets better for no extra cost although I think current purchasers may have a different license model. One purchase works on my iPhone and iPad. More tools in here than most network pros will use on a regular basis and most of them allow data sharing so you can run other tools on the same targets without retyping host info. Highly recommend for any IT pro dealing with a network on an Apple device.

It's annoying to start the app and open the screen.. It's annoying to start the application and open the screen. Every time you start the app, you have to wait for a while and then click the continue button to enter the homepage. It's very annoying.

Early on and getting acquainted. It would be silly for me to leave a review at this point, having just been introduced to your application. But, I do want to say from what I’ve seen it looks to be robust and intuitive with a solid backing of help files and links addressing user questions and reference needs.

Still my favorite go-to tool. This is my third thumbs-up for this app. It was good when I first started using it a long time ago but it is beyond good now, and just keeps getting better and better. Thank you!!. I've had security issues and it's incredibly hard to define much less solve when you don't know how or the terminology. This app really pulls together all the pieces you may have and connects them in ways that make sense. The tools, explanations, and examples are excellently presented. If I could rate more than 5 stars I would!

Excellent Tools for an Excellent App. This is a very awesome tool for my needs. My goal is to use my iPad, when possible, as a basic network troubleshooting tool and this app will aid in that goal. I’m not a network engineer so my needs are not that same as someone in that profession. Keep up the awesome work and thank you for such a quick response to my recent question.

My real life networking toolkit is nowhere near as useful as this app.. Love this app. I’ve used it for years and it just keeps getting better. I don’t think I paid 6.99 when I bought it, but I’ve easily gotten that much value from it and would buy it again in a second. I’ve only bought less than 20 paid iOS apps but this one is absolutely the one I couldn’t do without. Very reliable and never had annoying bugs like many other similar apps(that do far less, far worse). When I’m troubleshooting ANY networking issue, installing new equipment, managing my servers, transferring files, remotely controlling my desktops, or even just tinkering around with a project.... this app is always the first thing I reach for and usually is the only place I need to. It has so many things in the kit that I honestly forget what all is included quite often. However if I need something, it’s always worth the check to see if it’s there—whatever tool I’m looking for, it’s usually offered in the Network Toolbox. These developers are top notch too and I really appreciate the continued updates & improvements. Thank you for an awesome app!

Must have. Period.. If you’re into anything to do with sysadmin, pentesting, OSINT, red/blue teaming, hacking, networking, webdev, coding, cyber security... and everything like it or related, get this NOW. Absolutely must have resources as your fingertips. Simply amazing amount of information easily available, even customizable, in a fantastic no-nonsense package that impresses anyone I share it with. Thank you for such a great app. I love the performance over pretty where it’s designed just well enough to use but not over designed to be annoying. It’s aesthetically ideal for getting things done, extremely functional, and the first app I go to whenever I’m doing the computer voodoo that I do.

A must have tool for your iPhone or iPad. This is the best, most comprehensive tool box for the iPhone and iPad I have found. It is a complete suite of networking tools that put information in the palm of your hand! This is a must have app suite for anybody with an iPhone or iPad that works with Network technology!

Thank you for this app and support. When I bought this app I was having a rough go of it to put it mildly. I want to personally thank Marcus and all who make this app work and answer any questions you may have (even if you feel they are stupid, they treat you with respect and and help you find an answer). I use the app to keep track of my network now and my phone (which was found both had issues). I am not much of a speechwriter so I will keep it short. Awesome!. This app has truly saved my sanity. My devices have been hacked and for the last 3 years I’ve been losing my mind trying to find out what’s going on. While I’m only self taught and still learning this app has brought me so much clarity into what’s going on. I can see each time what device (while I’m still trying to locate the source I can clearly identify what is attached to me at any given time of day) I’ve used many networking tools to narrow down my hunt but your app has brought me the most clarity and answers. Along with your excellent instructions for each tool in the “toolbox” I now have the MAC address and service provider of said device..... after many many hours and calls to Apple, my cell provider, and all the log reports, your app has been the most helpful!! The only thing I haven’t been able to make work from the app is the Shodan tool. So I end up using the Shodan site directly. Thank you!!

Thank you!. I removed this app last week when I found that I was going to have to pay a subscription for an app I had already paid for, but the developer fixed that issue and it is now back in my toolbox. I will continue to highly recommend this app and will purchase it for my IT staff. It is probably the most valuable tool in my toolbox.

Best technical utilities as far as I’m aware.. These are the best and some of the most specialized tools for networking in both the ipv4 and ipv6 worlds. I love being able to see all the real data and have access to advanced options. All the other networking utilities you find for IOS seem to simplify and hide all the information of real value in attempts to make a pretty UI. No one needs a pretty UI. With the limitations apple puts on device access this suite does a better job then any other I’ve found to provide useful tools you would otherwise need a linux os for.

True all in one. This app has it all. An invaluable resource that defines everything a toolbox is and should be. Its value far exceeds its price. User friendly with seemingly endless features, it’s a MUST HAVE utility. These guys really poured EVERYTHING into this remarkable tool. Download and see for yourself. Company took away licensing. I bought the app, used it monthly, but they changed to a subscription model and negated my purchase so I no longer have access to the tools. There are other option available that will accomplish the functionality for less than what they are trying to charge. It is a red flag when a company changes the rules on the customers that made their product popular. I will be updating this review in the future with my replacement apps. Stay away until then.

An Absolute Necessity for Systems Administrators!. Without doubt the most-inspired, resourceful, and helpful network applications you will ever need! Updates and improvements are routinely provided, which further enhances it’s value. A must-have for ‘grunts on the ground’ and EDC! Keep up the great work! Where have you been all my life?! This app puts the rest to shame. I’ve tried them all. Fing, net analyzer, iDNS, dozens of them, you name it. Even all their pro versions I paid for expecting half what this app can do. None of them hold a candle to this app and its features. I don’t use anything else and why would I need to? Any IT pro wanting to use a mobile app for network security and administration should look no further. You have found the holy grail! Love the new Have I been pwnd feature. Genius! Absolutely wonderful app!. This app has so many useful features in it! For a one time fee your getting way more than what you pay for. Even if you have no knowledge of networking at all, this app will teach you A LOT just going through it and figuring out all the different tools. I highly recommend this app. It turns your iOS device into a mini networking tool that anyone could benefit from using.

Useful app but UPNP and Bonjour Scanning Do Not Work. Very useful app with awesome tools baked in. The UI could use some work and it is a bit slow to start up, although I do have advanced mode toggled on. Another thing is no matter I can’t get UPNP or Service discovery to show up in the app. I know there are services being broadcasted on my LAN by confirming this with other apps, however this app seems to be unable to discover them. I’m paying the weekly subscription but debating on its worthiness as a weekly subscription seems to be a bit much. I would prefer monthly.

Learning. It’s an educational app if your trying to find out about anything concerning the internet. The only concern I have with it, is the search part of the app. It doesn’t matter what you type in, it doesn’t tell you where to find it or anything about it. But other than that, I give y’all 5 stars

A fine example of a well-integrated app. The app is immensely useful, and the continuous monitoring and updating that the developer Marcus provides is a model others would do well to follow. I'm not an IT professional and many of the subjects with which the app deals are new to me, but Marcus does his best (and his best is very good) to guide even the novice through the minefields. My family's computers, and my home network, are safer due to Marcus's thoughtful efforts.

Love the Developer!!!!. So I have to start off by being straight forward. I have only really looked through the app briefly, all tools seem to work so far! However the entire reason I am here was because I decided to go ahead and read some of the help articles, and I approached the article about the GhostX “virus” and I have to say, that is my reason for this review! After getting to the update and reading the article. I love this developer.

Your Search Ends Here!. By far, the best compilation of network tools under a single app and a smooth, clean and working UI. Whatever you are looking to do, you’ll find it here. Compare that next to the detailed documentation within’ and the minimal collecting of data, you have yourself a app worth way more than the price tag.

Feature. Hey is it possible to have more “Test” cases for HTTP connect? You can literally load a text file containing hundreds of XSS into an array and use that as a testing. Also, “Security Checks”.. a lot of that is outdated. The exploits used within are not current.. Can you upgrade that to test for more devices? If you won’t update the actual exploits can you at least add more devices with commonly known exploits to the list?

Great even for beginners!!. I love this app! Not only does it have several tools to utilize, (I had 3 separate apps doing what this one does ), The time taken to prepare the guide/manual is very thorough and and explains purpose of each tool & how to use it; so this is great for someone who maybe is not well versed with tech or monitoring your network!

An update to my 1 star review by Citizen589. I originally rated this app 1 star because I was frustrated by it hanging up and ceasing to function. I also sent a message to the developer (under my real name) and within hours I got a reply back and his guidance on correcting the issue. WOW never have I gotten support that fast, even when I was paying for it. Like I originally said this is a wonderful collection of tools for the network engineer and anyone wanting to explore (not hack) their environment. I will recommend this to anyone looking for a Swiss Army Knife of internet and network tools. Marcus, GREAT JOB, LOVE THE APP.

Old review: purchased this app for $7 years ago and used it often. I open the app today and attempt to “restore” purchase and it says “nothing to restore” and tries to make me pay a subscription fee, very dishonest of the developer to bait and switch his loyal customers Who paid for a product they can no longer use. Great tool, well done and very useful!. I am a network admin/engineer maintaining a variety of devices and services at my company. I use this tool frequently to troubleshoot and/or verify functionality of our network and associated services. The tool is well implemented, very useful and is highly recommended! recent update excellent except the “continue” bar.. After the most recent update the functionality behind paywall came back. There is however the worrisome “continue” bar that lacked some functionality behind a yearly paywall. I do not mind paying extra for additional functionality, but that would be a one time payment not a subscription model. I am in this computing since CPM, before DOS, now a senior citizen. Erik.

The Swiss Army knife for Net Admins & those learning!!. It’s free to try, I promise you won’t be disappointed! There’s a lot of replicas out there with cookie cutter interfaces and basic functions. Although this app literally surprised me the more I used it. Everything from port references, protocol lists, cmd descriptions, along with every scan you could need without ever leaving the app. This app has and is still educating me every use. I wish I could provide feedback of a drawback but honestly it’s been everything I needed and more.

What a shame Cigada Lucia you have destroyed Marcus’s wonderful network tool with your greed.. I purchased this application for around $10 back in July 2023 and it specifically read in the T&C that the purchase was a lifetime license one time payment it’s your forever. At least that’s what the legally binding contract read. Now all of a sudden Cigada Lucia purchases the application and immediately devises a plan to squeeze an already broke majority of Americans and make this once great networking tool into a weekly or monthly subscription based app. I will NEVER weekly or monthly subscribe to anything. Ever. You see just because you purchase the rights too a company or an application does NOT give you the legal authority to not honor agreed upon terms at the time of sale (breach of contract) which is illegal and leaves this person with civil liability in every state and most countries. I will give Cigada until the end of the week to give me my purchase back immediately with a sincere apology or return my money and you can take back your weekly sub app. Good luck with that bud! In conclusion, What was once thee premier network tool for iOS has become nothing more than a very expensive sub par rental with greedy contracting breaking owners.

Oh…subscription model? Done. Yeah, this was a great tool, within the limitations of how great tools like this are allowed to be on this platform. But now I have to pay for this functionality when there continue to be free tools that do the same thing? I get that people deserve to get paid for their work, but if you’re going to introduce a subscription model, maybe offer some new and improved function to make someone want to sign up? Paying for the same “eh” that it’s always been just means it will be one more app that I don’t use anymore.

This App is for Everyone. Whether your just beginning your networking quest or far adavanced; this app is the Jack of most trades. I cannot believe how many goodies have been packed into one app. I’ve owned this app for nearly a year and it’s taught me info I wasn’t even aware I was searching for. Whether you are searching for reasons your computer is slow, worries about what your kids may be doing online, worries he may be cheating, currently in technical school, fascinated how things work, or just plain old don’t trust Uncle Sam then this app is a must. It’s a great stepping stone with individual instructions briefly explaining how to utilize each feature offered. All network tools rolled in one. It’s also creates api keys and stores passwords as well as assisting in a deeper search for anything you may be researching. I can view all devices on my current network as well as which devices have bonjour or upnp running. I am far from advanced and only recently became interested in all things tech. There’s so much here that I could not even do it justice by trying to list. This is one of my favorite apps. Thank you for creating this beauty

No mad adress no money for you. I know apple hides Mac adresses now but use your brain and At least try to make a tool that will use a different device on your part to download the MAC addresses and forward them to us. Why give us the tool TO THEN have to use a raspberry pi.?? I could do that without this app on a different device … you want my money? Actually work for it and make your own tool and not just try to charge us money for something the original developer made or put on this app .. it’s obviously got a new owner, like who is Ana? lol I’d pay 100$ a month if you’d take my advice I’m showing the mad address by the use of a middle man tactic….

Noob friendly. Just downloaded the app and started the free, 7-day trial. As a noob, this app has just about all the cyber security tools needed to scan for, locate, and identify problems within the networks and devices to help pin-point maladaptive processes, broken-connections, and illegal hacking. Just being able to play around with the tools available and looking into their results is a real-time learning exercise, even for noobs like me. (And boy oh, boy...do I really detest narcisstic little b*s who think they can invade/hack someone else's networks and devices, stealing personal information and copyrighted/intellectual properties from hardworking/innovative/morally-sound people regardless if it's the police/government/or your local thugs/theives/b*s - Weak kneed, Sissies!)

Excellent Networking App. This is the only paid app I’ve ever used and it’s worth it. It has a wide variety of tools with readable and useful documentation all in a well planned and organized interface. The updates are frequent and relevant. I have no complaints except perhaps there is no way (that I can find) to clear the remembered input. A huge thanks to the developer. I look forward to future updates and functionality. If you are a professional or seriously curious about networking then this is the app for you. At this price, it’s a bargain. I’m not getting paid, or any benefit whatsoever for this review. My strong recommendation is just the only way I can think of to say THANK YOU to the developer.

Best network toolbox I’ve found. So many tools, most come with an advanced mode if you need to do something specific. Other tools I’ve tried have either been needlessly convoluted or dumbed down to the point of being useless.

Absolute Scam!. This app looks like to has a new owner. Previously and excellent product however the new owner is not honouring previous purchases of a perpetual licence. My app now does not work without me subscribing to an ongoing fee. When I contacted the (new) publisher they are saying the issue is due to a technical issue however their updated licence agreement only supports a subscription licence. Unilaterally changed our purchase agreement. Illegal and unethical. Scam - stay away from this unethical publisher. Licensing final resolved, however I don’t trust that I will have long term use of the app we the my perpetual licence.

Missed it. Looks like the app used to be good but $5 per week for ftp is insane.

There isn't anything else quite like it. This is an excellent tool or perhaps "package of tools" might be a better description. It provides users with the ability to "see" what is happening with their networking down to viewing the data stream. While you need at least a basic understanding of networking to get started, you could also use this set of tools as a "self learner" I suggest that a look at what data is "coming and going" to/from your device is well worth the effort. You may be surprised what you will learn! Well done team!!

It's worth the money then it looks.. Very useful in public places. All buttons function properly and have a good understanding meaning. I thought it was just a scam but, not till I opened it it wasn't. Good job developer. Love it all.

Great app, all the tools you need!. Had to make some changes to my home network and Fing wasn't showing a device. Saw this app and decided to take the risk and purchase. Did a Bonjour scan and there it was. Helped identify and fix my problem in less than 10 mins. Well worth it. Thanks.

IT guy wannabe. To delve beneath the surface of network technology is fun to learn about. This is a cool app that I’ve learnt a lot from and sure it will teach me to see a lot more. It would be good if there’s a video lesson on how to use the more unfamiliar parts but the instructions can’t cover every aspect so.

THE TECHIES TOOLKIT. UPDATE: I can’t even begin to comprehend how utterly disappointed I am in the direction the developer has taken with this previously great app. Putting a paywall on many of the most-used apps has now limited the usefulness of a once great product. At $4.99 per week!!! Surely you’re taking us all for fools. As I paid for this in the beginning, I now feel completely ripped off. One star rating seems completely justified. PREVIOUSLY SATISFIED CUSTOMER: This app is the real deal; I bought it for stress-testing my workplace network and it covers things I hadn't even remotely considered. Excellent product, with tutorials, glossary, explanations and so much more. Well done dev!!

Brilliant Software. If you are at all interested in Infosec, you can not go past this software. Honestly, it is a point and shoot solution to teach you about the risks of the internet of everything, your personal IT (NAS/IP Camera/website) and or your business systems. Within 3 days I could conduct a high level probe on my companies systems and spot weaknesses in the systems. This doesn't replace professional White Hat advice, but how do you know even to speak to companies like that to scope their work and understand the treats they uncover, if you can not perceive and understand the exploits that are available. Great tutorials and reference links. Learnt how to check SW/HW before buying to check exploits. It will pay back your investment in a week I'm sure like me, and I have had no previous training in this area at all and left my programming skill with my C64 on a 5" disk in basic 30 years ago.

Makes some kind of network request on startup. So if you're trying to use the app to troubleshoot being offline it won't start! Did this app get sold to another developer in the last couple of years?

Great app and app developer. I now have 2 apps from this developer and I have to say he is the most attention to detail app make I have come across thus far. Just a plethora of info amazing and great info for anyone. I plan to buy all of his apps just to support his cause of helping techies like us wanting the info but can never find it easy, alway scanning Google for questions and info of the same but it’s all in one easy to use apps. Please if you are interested in info of this nature you must buy and also check out his other great apps you won’t be disappointed.

Fantastic. Shows me everything network and device related; even things I didn't know existed! Shows low level sensors on iPhone. Shows all network attributes. A must have tool.

It’s for real, like, it’s ACTUALLY real.. TLDR: Working, no nonsense, no gimmicks, tap one of the many tools and it works as advertised and/or expected. Powerful, handy - You can erase $300 worth of other apps, remove a folder bc this app does it all. So, at first, I did the usual ya ok sure bud. Because I feel as though most every app is either a waste of time, waste of time and money or a waste of bandwidth. Developers lie. This app does EXACTLY what it says on the tin. You get what they say you get… Such a strange concept to me these days. You can no doubt remove a handful of apps and have this one in their place. All in one easy to access and use interface. I thought it was just a con job at first but everything works, looks like there’s even room to add things on (I’m not smart enuff for that). If you manage a network or you have a router then this thing is an absolute must. DEV: I’m willing to pay but I feel $25 a year personally. I pay 30 for a handful of apps & own a few. Thanks keep up the good work man I love it.

Don’t be fooled. Don’t be fooled. App only provides a 7-day free trial, but only after submitting payment information. Without payment information the app will NOT function. A terrible subscription bait and switch model. Uninstalling.

Impressive Suite of Network Apps. I’ve been using this app for approximately a month now. It has taught me a lot about how my network runs. There are a lot of tools here and I keep finding new things.

Very useful Network Toolbox App!. I've been using this app for some time now and am very impressed with both the range of tests it can carry out, as well as its ease-of-use. Furthermore, its built-in documentation is first rate. Every new version keeps getting better. I recommend this app to anyone looking for a set of network testing tools. I don't think you'll find any better network testing tool-set for the iPhone.

Fantastic news feed. This app is way beyond my knowledge of networks I learn something new every-time I explore.

One time fee to subscription model. I’m a developer and appreciate the work that went into these applications. This is why I purchased both the MacOS and iOS versions of this application. I paid around $115 CAN only to find out that now I have to pay again to keep the features I’ve already paid for. Existing users should simply be grandfathered in while new users should be placed on the subscription model. New features could be placed on a subscription model but downgrading what I’ve already paid for is not good business.

Disappointed in the change to a subscription model.. I paid for this app a few years ago for access to all the features. Imagine my surprise when I open the app today and was told that I had to subscribe $4/week (CAD) to get the same features I have already paid for and have been using for years. WHY? Don’t get me wrong, it’s a good app and I supported the developer by purchasing two of his other products (RF-Toolbox and Electronics TB). How long before those other apps go to the same stupid subscription model. I understand that developers need to eat but to spring this on your customers without even so much as a warning? Disappointing. Very disappointing.

Lifetime One-Time Payment Converted to Subscription Service. This used to be a one time payment app for life but has been converted to a subscription service, leaving those who bought under the original terms high and dry. Unknown what the future of the quality of the app and improvements will be under the new owner. Older purchasers have every right to be upset. PLEASE check the date of the review before subscribing; conversion apparently happened around November 2023.

Not working. App did nothing but charge my account. Does not scan or show network or devices connected to network. Support replies by email with 5 day wait and a link to unsubscribe without having subscription. App link for manual does not show manual.

Amazing App. This is the multi-functional Swiss Army knife of network applications. It pretty much covers everything you could possibly need (unless you have specific IPv6 sub netting questions - I assume that will be added). News, information, hordes of useful utilities. Stop reading and start using!

Stellar App. I purchased this In hopes of learning how to keep my phone safe along with my networks. Off Grid sort of speak. Unfortunately this is all Greek to me. So many tools and I haven’t the slightest clue where to begin. 5 stars because it has so many tools.

Excellent full featured app. NetworkToolbox is an excellent multi-function app that allows me to test and diagnose network issues. I had some concerns about continued development and maintenance, and left a message on the developer site, upon the developer provided same day response that his projects are actively maintained.

I love this app! He even gives you workarounds!. The app’s new features continuously grow and old features continuously get better. When Apple removes a feature, he provides viable, documented workarounds like Apple’s Airport utility for WiFi channel detection.

Now it’s a cash grab.. I bought this app and now it is useless to me. The change to a subscription based service killed it. When I try to restore my purchase, it just says nothing to restore. It is a shame to see such a wonderful and useful toolset turn into the horrific brutal love child between a train wreck and a dumpster fire. Congrats, new owners. You’ve killed one of my favorite apps.

One of a kind. I’d say that this app is so unique to all the other apps because of the simplicity of getting around and finding what I needed to find. If I could make a suggestion, can you add dark themes to the background. And finding the nearest cell tower strength in digits and WiFi seeker mapping.

Wants to charge me twice for the app. I paid for and loaded the app some time ago. I recently updated the app, now it wants to charge me again. Can’t get in contact with the developer to correct the situation. This was not an app that required the user to pay a subscription fee. If they charged terms midstream I should have been grandfathered in or told the update would require a subscription if it was updated. Just give me back my old version!

Awesome app.. This app is the army Swiss knife of technology. It has all the tools you need to help you identify what’s going on on your network. It has so many modules and options that are great if needed. It’s a must have app if you are a technology oriented person, from the beginner to the most experienced.

A full array of tools. The menu of tools that in this app makes it a good buy. And I read on the blog that it can work on wired networks with the right gear (I've ordered the kit I need, I believe). I've already used it to map out home and office networks. Already paid for itself.

Netbooks. App is very important in making your network more secure and more resilient than ever before but you need to know what the tools are for but luckily there is a guide for that. Must get.

Ruined By Subscription Gate-keeping. Nothing Is Free.. Not a single tool is free to use. Idk when things changed, but when I first downloaded this app, none of the tools were gate-kept by a subscription. It’s unfortunate that yet another thing has to have a predatory subscription model. I could justify a one-time purchase for access to all tools while keeping two or three of them free-to-use, but that’s not the case. I will not return to this app unless the subscription option is fully scrapped.

Great app for all levels. A friend of mine in security recommended this app. I’m wanting to break into the security industry (no pun intended, well maybe), and this app will get you a lot of answers and is completely worth the money. In fact, it’s dirt cheap considering the various tools that it offers. If I could give it 100 stars, I would. Great job Marcus.

Most features, but….. This app has the most features and functions. OK, the most disappointing is, the speed test function is not working at all. Every selected entry in the menu and none of them are working. I owned this now for over a year and the developer was not able to fix that after many complaints. I am done with it, it’s a waste of space.

Subscription model now?!. I LOVED this package of programs. I paid full for it a while ago and it is an essential part of my management toolkit. To update and all of a sudden things like SSH and Scan are behind a subscription, without ANY notice the version I PAID for was going to die, I immediately loose faith. I will be searching for other tools to fulfill these needs. Too critical apps to be caught an a subscription extortion scheme. Will be ditching RF and Electronics Toolboxes too. No subscription nonsense. Sorry. This was an excellent app.

So sad the way things turn. Probably the best network app out there and it was free to use by the creator markus sadly it was sold and now the company that bought it is trying to charge 30 plus dollars a year. I didn't even so much as get a message on the app that the changes were coming. One day open the app and now i cannot even use it without paying. Great app but so sad its corporate now. Most prominent netscanner on iOS. This is the most sophisticated network tool for iOS. There is no superior tool yet existing. I am a seasoned network security expert and I can say this is what a network and network security professional needs from iPhone.

Well worth the price of admission!. If your a network admin or engineer get this app! It has the most bang for the buck network utilities all in one package for the iPad. Very well done, believe the high ratings.

Looking to just trace route something. Needing simple trace route, one time, find a tool that says I can get for free, but won’t do anything without a subscription? DELETE! Response to response: the fact that it is “free” yet doesn’t do anything without pay is lying” just charge for it, or give me some free to see how it works? I don’t care about your other info, I found something that allowed me a simple trace test for free and now I don’t need it anyway.!

Paid for full app already……now tools locked and subscription?. Bought this app and loved it for years. Now some tools locked and now a subscription….….are you freakin kidding me? I paid for the app already. Then you lock tools and require a subscription to use tools I already paid for…..oh I’m going to tell every person I know across all social media to never use or buy anything from this dev. EVER! Great and fun. This is a great and fun learning app! I’m a techy geek and have found this to be interesting. My only question is what happened to the blue tooth configuration. When I click on more information it just gets stuck on “Peripheral Connecting”.

A fantastic faithful toolbox. This is one of a small handful of Apps that has remained on several generations of my phones because I inevitably need to use it and for what it does it’s never failed me. It may not be the be-all tool but it’s as close as you’ll get until they inject an AI front end.

A Complete Toolbox. I installed a new network using the Fios G3100 and extenders. I needed an app that let me see the network to make sure all my connections were on line. I’m a rookie and I’m sure this app has more tools than I will ever use. But I applaud the developer for creating such a comprehensive app.

New paywall for some basic features. This app was great until it started asking for $2.99/week for some basic features. I can find a free Bluetooth scanner elsewhere, but some other features also shouldn’t be being this paywall.

Every network utility you will ever need.. I rarely EVER write reviews but this app warrants one. It's fantastic in every way. I bought the app the author made about electronics (making them, it's called Electronics TB) only to support the creator. Thank you so much for this app. I use it daily and really do love it. I wish i could give you 10 stars.

Marcus loves his customers. This developer and his application puts the user first. He quickly tests and releases fixes as soon as they are available, even going direct to Apple to try to get answers. If half the app developers we're half as conscientious as he, the software world might be twice as usable and safe.

A professional networking app for professionals. Update: still best of the best. Developer released another nice update last week adding ability to generate routing tables. Prior review: I have tried many of the other apps in this category. Most are decent - but this one is what I would call professional. A few of my favorite features: 1. a scriptable telnet/ssh client built in. 2. Utilities to test your network and equipment against exploits. 3. Sftp/ftp client built in. 4. Generate SSL/Putty keys from the app. In addition, the support is excellent. I reported a bug after last week’s release. It was fixed within 2 days.

Used to be Great. This app was Awesome but with every update it seems to run slower and freeze up more often. I have used this app for several years and ,in the beginning it WAS the BEST app available on App Store now it’s still a great app, it would be back to 5 stars if the bugs were fixed.

Awesome tool.. Wish it could have a live feed of bandwidth being used by each device on your network. 5 stars regardless. Also Is the password vault safe to use. Nothing of this is stored externally right nor the app has access to this??

An excellent app. The best set of network tools you can get. I'm always amazed at the depth and breadth of this tool set: network scan tools, FTP, SSH (on an iPhone!), web analysis, IP calculator, and many more. The capabilities and possibilities are tremendous on the iPhone platform. Did I mention this app has SSH?! Now I can use my phone and leave the laptop behind. YEA! Recommended!
