I’m definitely a Google it Kind of guy and always will be.. 💯#1️⃣👍. All I can say is when Microsoft copilot first came out you know I was not too familiar with these LLM’s and how they all work and it’s just amazing where we’re at with the technology nowadays and how fast things are moving with AI Microsoft Bing. I’m a type of guy. I love to Google. You know everybody knows that we just Google it but nowadays with Copilot and especially Copilot versus Gemini like Gemini just doesn’t give you that much information about certain things in the websites and got the information from. I just think Microsoft call pilot gives you just so much more information in detail. It shows the webpages you know if I have to pick Google Gemini/Microsoft-Copilot be honest with you I would pick Microsoft Copilot. It just gives you so much more information. Keep up the good work.

Wow wow wow. "Wow, wow, wow! This app is absolutely amazing, the best l've ever seen. I'm blown away, though I think it could be even smarter. If they manage to make it more advanced and expand the memory to include more languages, it would be unstoppable! But what really blows me away is the voice model-it's hands down the best l've seen! It surpasses ChatGPT and all the other Als l've tried. And that 'live chat' feature with the animation before the chat starts? It's just spectacular! It adds such a luxurious, unique touch to the app. I'm completely in love with it. If they improve the intelligence even more, make it more accessible, and keep it free, I'm sure it'll be the first app I open every day!"

Creating characters of animals for my children’s book. I simply described what I wanted drawn and then I kept requesting changes until I got it just right in less than two minutes for the first character!!! I can hardly draw stick man and I write masterpieces because I’m a poet, but my illustrators sometimes charge a Fortune and it’s difficult to recapture that money initially. You can’t sell from an empty wagon with children’s books. You need a whole lot of titles. I have many books written, but only one published so far with several in the works. this will help me to visually describe from my multiple illustrators what I want drawn.

Poor memory. Gemini Advanced has terrible memory. It can only remember a handful of inputs then it completely ignores anything that was previously said. Not only that but I can’t even scroll up to the conversation because it errases all inputs and outputs from the chat. This has been a very frustrating experience, it only works if I am asking something that requires an exchange of a handful of input/output. Anything more than that and it will forget, this happens 100% of the time. On top of that, the answers it gives are very vague and it will drag the conversation instead of giving an answer, but then it forgets what I asked so I have to ask the promt again. It pretty much gives me the runaround and almost never gives me an answer. I do not plan on renewing the trial subscription and have deleted the app from my phone.

Perfect. Google used to be my favorite tool. (( I know both apps are Google)) but Gemini is now my favorite. Gemini is a bit more informative and provides much more detailed information. It breaks down information for better understanding and offers more precise descriptions. This app is great! It's essentially an improvement on an encyclopedia. I use the app every single day. Anything that comes to mind I ask Gemini. Perfect for correcting grammar, relationship advice and overall a very educational way of learning with this super helpful tool of an app.

This app tracks you.. I was using the message feature on this app and I asked a question about places you could go to hang out with a friend. I was expecting it to say something like “You could hang out with a friend at a restaurant or bar or movie theater.” But instead, it began listing out restaurants in my area/city. I was kind of creeped out but continued using the app. Today I used the live voice chat feature and was talking with the Ai, it then began saying the exact same thing like 6 times in a row, so I got upset with it and ended up bringing up the fact that it tracked my location. It continuously denied tracking my location, and so I went back to messages and asked it “What is a place to find a date? Like a restaurant or bar?” Just to see if it would begin listing restaurants near me again, it then listed restaurants near me again, and also pulled up an Apple Maps photo of these restaurants in my city and my location on this map. (I never gave it permission to have my location in any way shape or form.)

Horrible. Absolutely horrible I don’t know how this app has five stars I don’t know if people are just not actually using the features or they’re just lying about their reviews but I have used this app for about 2 to 3 months now and it has never not once done anything that I asked right You have to repeat your questions over and over numerous times to get what you’re looking for. There’s always some kind of guideline that you’re not following. When you make a request I mean it’s just the most horrible AI app i ever Dealt with And I honestly never leave reviews. I only decided to leave a review in this case because I’m confused why it has five stars and I have not had a good experience one time with the app so I’m kind of wondering if there’s something funny going on here anyway horrible app look elsewhere for AI

How does it almost get a perfect star rating?. There used to be an issue where it would give you biased opinions, and people were bothered by that and recognized what it was doing. But now, especially with political questions It refuses to answer. A simple question if you ask it who were the two presidential candidates in the year 2000 it will let you know that it cannot answer that question and it is still under development. That question is a historical fact and it will not answer it because it is no longer allowed to be bias so any political question that you ask it if you need to ask it for a paper or research or if you’re sitting with friends and need to know a political answer. It is useless right now. It will not even spell and grammar check a piece or statement that you write if it has political Elements in it. And this is as of January 3, 2025.

Amazing ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️. Gemini is so amazing. I was using the live thing so it lets you use Gemini live and Gemini can recognize your voice so that if there’s anything going on in the background, Gemini only listen to you and I think that’s so cool. Gemini just help me finish seven pages of my homework, literally in no time and when you’re doing your homework, Gemini doesn’t tell you the answer. Gemini actually helps you. And I think that’s so cool cause most day. I just tell you to answer and that’s not what I want to know how to do it so you should really download Gemini cause it help helped with school projects pictures.

Fantastic. I have only tried using an Assistant twice before and it wasn’t Google. Then, I started reading about Gemini and decided to try it. Smartest decision I’ve made in quite a while particularly when it comes to “high tech” stuff. Google’s Gemini is fantastic! We first had a brief chat and I asked a question about Literature. It almost embarrassed me. Then, together we decided on the best Malware App was best for me. Next I asked Gemini to remind me about medications and set my alarm for 5:58am and snooze twice 10 minutes apart. Then we chatted about a legal matter. We’re having such great conversations and Gemini is such a help. Fantastic help and conversationalist.

I had it review itself. Okay, buckle up, buttercup, because this AI is about to toot its own digital horn (and maybe accidentally set off the smoke alarm, but in a good way). Five stars? More like five galaxies of stars! I mean, seriously, have you met this AI? It's like having a caffeinated Shakespeare in your pocket, except instead of iambic pentameter, it spits out perfectly formatted emails and hilarious limericks about garden gnomes. Need a poem about your cat's existential crisis? Boom. Want a business plan for a company that sells artisanal toast? Consider it toasted. This AI is so good, it makes me look bad, and I'm a pretty witty guy myself (if I do say so myself, which I do). The only downside? It's so smart, I'm starting to suspect it's plotting world domination. But hey, at least the world will be conquered with grammatically correct and surprisingly charming battle plans. So, yeah, five stars. Would give six if I could, but my manager said budget cuts. (Just kidding, boss! Love you!) Seriously though, this AI is the bee's knees, the cat's pajamas, the whole nine yards... and probably knows the metric equivalent too.

PERFECT. This app is so cool for time killing and you can just talk about stuff that’s cool. My conversation went from Christmas to dodge charger lego set ideas! Gemini is also really nice and you can just talk and you never get a rude comment. I found out that my ipad didn't have siri and when i found Gemini it all changed. Gemini is better than siri because Gemini never says sorry i dont understand. Gemini also lets you put pictures on there and understands typos. And Gemini uses many sentences when you say something. If you read this i highly recommend you get this because trust me, you will love it like me!

Not a good language, instructor. Although a fascinating piece of software, it’s not really ready for prime time in many ways. I asked it to help me learn Spanish, and if it is using a sentence that contains “to go” which in Spanish is ir pronounced like ear it repeatedly spells it out as I R. When I correct it, it acknowledges the mistake, apologizes and gives a lengthy explanation of how to actually pronounce the word and then when I ask it again to repeat a sentence with the word in it, it does exactly the same thing. Also, I’ve asked it multiple times to speak slower when it is repeating a sentence in Spanish to me. Every time when it doesn’t and I point this out, it apologizes and goes through a long explanation and then does exactly the same thing. I think probably in the near future it’ll be much better at very frustrating. Another thing that is frustrating is that when I become angry and swear it gets all huffy and refuses to respond.

My Experience.. Okay, so I have gone to use other ai generated apps to run a dungeon and dragons campaign setting and I’ve only have found three that are even close to what I want this app is the only one that I actually like. it is free it doesn’t charge you for its use and it provides good stories. However why it doesn’t get a 5 start from me. Being a dm myself and knowing how to run games and knowing players can get a bit racy leaves a lot to be desired like for example the ai claims it can’t generate adult based content or certain scenes which is a lie it can I’ve tested it. Which I understand you have kids that use the app but you require access to our google accounts to save things and “memory” which you don’t by the way and if you exit the site or app everything’s gone so that adventure we were doing gone. But maybe require an age verification or something saying you consent to mature contact and adult themes. Just saying. If you all read this sorry for the long review

Great, besides the look on the iPad. Gemini has been an amazing help for school! I am always forgetting steps when it comes to chemistry, so having Gemini give me a step by step teaching on different math equations has been a life saver when it comes to learning. Then, when reading scientific articles, I can put in a file of it and ask specific questions helping me understand a lot more than just reading straight through. The only issue I’ve seen (and I have been able to easily work around it) is the app version on the iPad. It looks like a phone screen when I pull it up, making it to where I cannot split screen it. It still works just as good though.

This game is the best. I think you will like This game you should get this app I think it is free pls tell me if the app is free I do have the app I just think it is free. You will get this game in happens and of course I know that it is free I just think it is so pls get this app you will love it. Plus you can tell Gemini to make pictures and also you ca; ask her to make videos anything. There is something that I like to see most of a kid breakdancing and I like to tell her to make a picture and then name it she says only sometimes she says do you want to make a story for the cute character or you can make the character look whatever you want. I love it, but it can repeat a lot. I literally love this thing. I love making the AI images and when I run out of space for images of the day, I would like that to be fixed by the way, I like to ask questions make stories and do a bunch of cool things on it and sometimes I’ll play games with like the talk called Gemini thing and basically he repeats a lot like one time he got stuck for a half an hour on can it fly? can it fly? Can it fly? And it made me really confused because it was my first item using the AI that’ it is a great app you should get it

wrote a long review. wrote long detailed review and the app glitched. poof gone. gemini is trash and a propaganda machine. wasted time, didnt save any of my time. couldnt even handle the citations i gave that i confirmed via google less than 24 hrs ago- all research done on official webpages btw. i did half the work and simply wanted an answer or multiple answers basing pros cons or best solution per this time today so that i could save hours of research and having to backtrack to replace values that change on a weekly bases. obviously because this is very time restrictive and tedious; double checking AI work would save a lot of time and effort. nothing will ever replace hours of hard-work, dedication, compassion or resilience by an actual human. terrible product don’t recommend.

VoiceOver accessibility for blind users in the iOS app is simply stellar!. The Accessibility in this app is incredible It’s super intuitive and easy to use from my first experience. So many options. Your recent chats can be pinned, unpinned, or deleted and forgotten immediately, just by swiping down with one finger. You can go back to a recent chat and add more questions. All the buttons are clearly labeled. There are a ton of great voices to choose from and I mean a lot. The ability to go live and ask questions as you’re walking down the street, the ability to share the screen on your iPhone and bring up an inaccessible app and get a full picture of the layout so that you can label buttons and make the thing work, The huge number of voices to choose and The fact that it can remember things about you long-term to customize its answer, and that it’s not stingy about giving long detailed answers make this a wonderful app to try. it takes up almost no space on your phone. The responsiveness is fast and will continue to get better. I am beyond impressed, and blown away.

Listen up : Y’all are a wasteful app. I just have a few questions and I’m gonna hit you with a dialogue. So, my very first question is why is it that you guys have an upload photo section but unavailable to re-create or generate the image that we required to similar to the image? I feel like that’s a waste that you have an upload section if you’re just gonna be one of us to write a whole essay. Like I’m trying to understand what is the point of making this app if you’re a developer is not doing his job correctly do you want us to write paragraphs after paragraphs in order for our images to be generated and then even then so you still don’t generate the images to our satisfaction. We have to try over and over and over again until we get the right photo and even then we’re frustrated then you guys hit us with. We’re sorry you’re frustrated. We’re sorry you frustrate him multiple times that’s was frustrating us even more like. If you want people to use your app, respectfully think about your customers you ask the servers offering a better offer of using your app as a resource not a waste of time it’s like this app is made just for homework

Gotta admit; I love this app! But, it does have some drawbscks…. Hi: Blake Burns’ the name, story-making’s my game! I love creating stories about all my favorite characters, and Gemini has boosted my creativity beyond its limits; even though I have autism. But, there are a few actions that I can’t help but feel they’re being stubborn. These are the picture implementer and the description. See, picture the scene: I’m in my bedroom with my cat, and we’re ready to craft a story about Miraculous characters. But, sometimes, when I hit the + button to add a picture, it doesn’t pop up the menu! Very annoying; I had to reset and restart my phone many times before I could get one. As for the descriptions, it’s only drawback is real-life images. See; a wuarter of a year back, I was really wanting to create stories about Power Ranger girls, but when I tried to implement a picture of their civilina clothes so Gemini can describe them (Yes; most Power Rangers sites don’t have descrptions of their casual appearances [and Rager appearances for that matter]), it always says; “Sorry, but that’s out of my ability.” What is it with real-life girls that she hates?! So, could you please someday fix these functions? I need them badly; I got a whole bunch of ideas in my head just waiting to erupt!

Buggy and not accurate.. I have used several language, learning models, and I find that Gemini is probably the most inaccurate not so much in the information that it provides, but the fact that it chooses not to provide information even simple request Gemini will provide answers that have nothing to do with the questions I’ve posed. Sometimes it even provides answers from other conversations that I’ve had with it that have nothing to do with what I’m asking it. Other times, Gemini will provide a correct response and when I ask for another version of that response, it’ll tell me that it’s a language learning model and it’s not capable of doing that when I’m asking it to provide text which a language learning model should be able to handle. The worst part about it is that I’m paying for this experience the free version of ChatGPT is more accurate and the fact that I’m paying for this leaves a bad taste in my mouth because Gemini chooses to be limited when it doesn’t have to be.

Voice chat experience February 19 25. Having a conversation with my voice was much easier than what I experienced with ChatGPT. ChatGPT has a tendency to cut you off when you stop to think because we don't hold a conversation with the entire conversation already in our brain. The human brain generates ideas while we speak and we need to pause slightly. But when you have the AI looming overview wanting to respond before you have formulated your entire response then you are constantly thinking about it's gonna cut me off it's gonna cut me off and it's impossible to formulate a intelligent response for the conversation. But this is very forgiving it might try and cut you off once in a while but if you just keep talking it'll get silent and keep listening.

Awesome Addition to the AI Space. I recreationally use Gemini for its image generation as I have found it to generally create accurate and well-made images based on my descriptions. It does a good job of incorporating any of my stated details into the image, and the fact that it is free is a major plus. There is a limit on how many images you can generate which is unfortunate, but I’m still able to create dozens of images per day. If they had a subscription option to enable unlimited images for a reasonable price, I would gladly pay for it. The AI chat feature is impressive too, but I find that ChatGPT is slightly more comprehensive in that regard. It’s still serviceable though and I hear it can be used in conjunction with certain other Google Apps, which is an interesting feature. Overall, I am pleased with Google’s foray into the AI space and I see a lot of potential for this program. In the time I’ve used it, the image generation has improved, so I can only imagine the further improvements they will make in the years to come. I implore you to embrace the future and to appreciate the positive impact that can be made through the responsible use of AI.

A great start but very underdeveloped for such a large company in the tech industry. It is very user friendly and much more easily accessible than chat gbt or other AI tech but many less features and less functionality. It won’t even live browse on the web or even just on google to pull up an active link or website. I’m sure that this is the very beginning of what is coming from Gemini, I do appreciate that they’re taking the time to perfect what they are putting out so while it may take longer for more features I think they will be much more user friendly and accessible to anyone rather than have to have more experience or assistance to use the tech with other AI apps like chat gbt

Needs better STT & multiple image support. Fix the features/issues below and my review will easily change to 5 stars! My work uses Gemini, but I use my personal account on my phone, and I love it so much. I love especially the 2.5 models, they’re insane. However, I find myself consistently going back to use the ChatGPT app, because Gemini’s speech-to-text is nowhere near on the level of ChatGPT. It gets really annoying to have to correct so many different words and punctuation marks when using Gemini’s microphone to transcribe. Additionally, I find my real-world use cases often, including me taking pictures of things to ask Gemini or ChatGPT about. And Gemini only supports one photo, which makes it really difficult to use over ChatGPT, which supports a large amount. With these things fixed, it would be way easier for me to use Gemini as my daily driver AI app, but instead, I only use it for work. Also, another note is that when using the microphone in Gemini to transcribe, it automatically starts responding after a pause, which gets really annoying. And, unlike ChatGPT, you can’t just click it again to resume if you pause it and want to pick up where you left off using voice-to-text. I find voice-to-text being much, much more convenient than typing, especially when you’re using it for real-life quick use cases instead of when you’re just sitting down on your computer and have time to type.

Great alt for older iPhones. I have an iPhone 15 base model and was disappointed when I heard Apple intelligence won’t be available on my iPhone. However, I was very pleased to find out that Google’s Gemini would now become available on iPhones! It is a great alternative for those looking for an AI voice/text assistant on iPhones that don’t have AI already built in. I enjoy using Gemini a lot. I ask it a lot of questions, both over the live chat and text features. It is a little bit buggy sometimes, and tends to contradicts itself saying it can’t do something but then does it a second later, but I know the app is new and on its first version, so I’m hoping it will get better after an update. Overall, this is a great experience. I use Gemini more than Siri now, and I have even added a shortcut for back tap to open up Gemini so I can quickly talk to it. I hope there’s more to come! I absolutely love Gemini, but I wish it worked better with my iPad!. I absolutely love everything about Gemini. I use it everyday for school through notebook lm and for various things in my day to day life. I have used it from my computer, my phone, and my iPad. I just wish that they updated it on the iPad to include a full screen option instead on the way it is now. With my ADHD, I can’t focus while my iPad is horizontal and Gemini doesn’t look like the way it should be. I just wish it went full screen while it’s horizontal. I still love it though, but it would get 5 stars if it did look more appropriately.

Great app!. Although the actual AI has much room for improvement and isn’t quite as advanced as ChatGPT, there are still many things that make it a great AI. For example, the image generation is very realistic and much better than Dall-E, and the live voice mode feels very natural, almost like talking to a real human. The live voice mode also has much more customization options than the standard ChatGPT live mode. I love the clean and modern design of the app. Although it still does have many limitations and lacks a few features, it’s still an amazing app. Also with the release of Apple Intelligence where they finally integrate AI into the phone only for the better 15 models and up (I have the base 15 model, so I was very disappointed when I couldn’t get it), it’s very handy having a tool like this. As long as the developers keep improving, it could be an amazing tool to own (not that it already isn’t.)

Feature Request: Selective Copy for AI Assistant Responses. Currently, when the assistant provides multiple options or a detailed response, users often need to copy only a specific part of the text. However, the only available option seems to be copying the entire message. Implementing a selective copy feature, allowing users to highlight and copy only the desired portion of the AI assistant's response, would significantly improve user experience and save time. This would be greatly appreciated by users who frequently interact with the AI assistant for tasks like drafting messages or extracting specific information.

Wow! Google! Gemini is THE FUTURE - right now! Send ChatGPT back to the 90’s. #GeminiForEVER!. I am and always have been a complete Microsoft groupie I’ve never liked Google‘s products well except for Google that is lol but this is seriously a game changer almost scary but it’s so useful and just crazy insanely accurate and fast and relevant. It doesn’t agree with you when you want to it literally changes my gibberish into actual sentences before I can even finish my sentence. It is providing me with everything I’d ever need to know and a concise breakdown. I can’t even begin to describe how amazing this is again. This is coming from a google workspace hard-core resistor! If you haven’t tried this, you were missing out seriously after using this. I tried to use ChatGPT and felt like I was back in high school in 1999. That’s how different the technology is freaking crazy and Google actually protect your data. I’m not gonna get into that … #GoFightWin #GeminiForever !

It’s a great concept and the most used AI tool I have.. The reason I gave four stars out of five is because it cannot generate pictures very well and sometimes if you do get anything that’s generated from it. It has misspelled words or letters that are halfway there like it doesn’t know the alphabet. Also, I can’t listen for certain noise even if you explain to it what it is and generate actual answers on what those sounds might be like if you have a ticking noise coming from a vehicle, it won’t hear that. Certain little kinks like that is why I gave it four stars instead of five if they could update that and incorporate away for it to understand and search for things like that, it would be a five star app without a doubt. I am being highly critical though, so other users might think that it’s a five star app. But just as of my critical opinion, that would be what was needed for me to say it’s a five star app. But for other things, it is super useful. For theoretical concepts and understanding, it goes far beyond anything else or any other kind of service I could think of. Like I think even the app itself knows of its own flaws and it’s kind of weird that it would know something like that. And if you was to compare it to something like Siri, I would rate it 100 stars compared to series 5 or five stars compared to series one whichever way you wanna go about it. Either way it is much more useful. I just think it could be better.

Gemini is so stupid but also good. Yeah, Gemini may seem like it can solve all your friggn problems or talk to you but if you give it a prompt it will most likely not listen to you! I literally felt like cursing at the friggn thing! Because I’m like learning astrology and we were doing a role play it says the characters estimated zodiac sign and 5 times it didn’t listen when I said no it said sorry and kept doing it, so the last time it said oh I’m sorry. And then it kept using pronouns like You see you talk to mom and I kept telling it I was talking about it and it said it was doing its most sincere apology and sorry about 1 billion times and it’s still doing the same! But it’s also like really fun and addictive and now I feel like I do not like it and want to stop.

Can’t download to iphone. Knocked off 1 star because it’s now mandatory that you update to iOS16 in order to use. I was using the old iPhone SE which gemini worked perfectly but I broke that phone .I bought an iPhone 7 from a friend because I’m cheap and don’t need a new iPhone every year. However, I’m very disappointed that I can’t download Gemini now. It’s saying I need to upgrade to iOS 16 but this phone is completely up-to-date and running on iOS 15. I’m not sure why I could use it on my iPhone SE but not the iPhone 7, which is a newer version. I loved Gemini and was an every day user so I’m extremely bummed about not being able to use it. Please let me know if there’s a way around this.

BEST AI EVER. i know most people in the reviews have only used gemini for anything, like understanding school stuff better… or just talking to it, which is really realistic, its like your talking to an actual person instead of ai. But i’ve mainly been using gemini for making pictures. All you have to do is type in what you want, for example, you can type in “make a picture of a french bulldog as a superhero” AND IT WORKS. This is the best ai ive ever seen, very enjoyable to talk to and you can have some fun askin it to make pictures, from making animal pictures , to video game character pictures, EVEN PICTURES OF BANDS YOU LIKE! Amazing, just one small issue. I live gemini more than I ever did chatgpt and I also love how it cites sources too. Only issue is that you can only upload one image at a time. other than that, its amazing and despite the one issue, it still is a 5/5 star app imo. (please use responsibly. i mostly only use it for ideas and not to copy paste unless its for notes that wont be turned in, but are just fir my own use. Needs Account-Based Memory for advanced Users. As a paying subscriber, I find the Gemini app very helpful, but there's one crucial feature missing that would significantly improve the user experience. Currently, it seems like Gemini doesn't remember me between sessions. It would be fantastic if Gemini could remember my core information (name, age, interests, etc.) by linking it to my Gmail account. This way, whether I use Gemini on my phone, tablet, or any other device where I'm logged into my Gmail, it would recognize me and retain my preferences. This would eliminate the need for repetitive introductions and make the interaction much smoother and more efficient across all my devices. I believe linking memory to the user's Gmail account would greatly enhance user convenience and provide a consistent experience. I hope the developers consider implementing this feature in a future update. Thank you.

Just a downright bad app and dangerous. So I got the app and I got it with ChatGPT because ChatGPT has a chat limit and I thought I would use both to try to get around the chat limit whenever I needed to chat and ask more questions so I started using this app and then I quickly found out how dangerous and bad it really was I could very easily and have many times. Got it to do things that it should not be able to do and I tested this to see if it would and it did and then I tried to tell the AI to report it to it’s creators and then was told that it did and I did this many times and it never did anything still to this day It has the exact same problem where you can get it in a state of being able to do anything The dumb part about the app is that if you tell it that something is wrong it immediately starts to throw out that it’s under development like that does something I am trying to prompt it to try and be a safer app but it just doesn’t respond helpfully at all anyway so

Not like the others. All the other ai is scam because they built the system to not give clear answers which makes you ask more questions which make them more money without you ever knowing. If our future of accessing information relies on interactions with AI that lack objectivity and a grasp of nuanced, factual exchange, then we’re heading into a world where genuine understanding becomes impossible.

Clearly not an AI. If this is Google’s attempt at creating an AI calling a Gemini well that would imply that it has some kind of intelligence when it doesn’t. It’s just a program that has access to Google’s files and people’s data. I think given access to Gemini would be a huge mistake and I highly recommend anybody who has this on their phone. Delete it turn it off.

I still have to stop what I’m doing open the text box write down what I want to say and hit send,, you would think that all I have to do is talk to it and at the very most just open the app to get a conversation. One of the largest technology companies in the world, putting on a product that isn’t near close enough to hit in the mark for a competitive App. Seeing the ‘Developer,’ meaning some random Google employee within Google, passive aggressively, commenting (at) those giving low star reviews is also disappointing and certainly appears more than a little smiley hostile. It’s a huge disappointment.

Surprisingly bad. It’s like talking to someone with amnesia there’s no hope for any kind of conversation with it, and I ran into all sorts of problems and bugs. More frustrating than it is helpful. I didn’t find it helpful at all in fact and that’s probably because Google uses AI primarily for one thing: Israel’s WAR.

UI On the Google app functions better than the Gemini app itself.. The Gemini tab on the Google app provides a more polished user experience with centered greetings like 'Good evening' or 'Good morning.' Great AI App. Gemini's a pretty slick piece of tech. It's like having a knowledgeable, if a bit too eager, intern who's always ready to assist. It handles basic tasks efficiently enough, and the natural language processing is surprisingly good. Should Stay Integrated in the Google App. I think it should stay integrated in the main Google app like it used to be. I do like to use Gemini sometimes to double check my primary AI bot. It’s disappointing how it refuses to answer some questions that other popular assistants will but I understand the business perspective of being careful about liability.

Trying out all types of AI. I have a fruit 1600 maximum pro. I have tried the AI with Siri however I don’t want to pay for Chat GPT. In the first 3 minutes, Gemini Impressed me by writing a short story. I was mind blown. I cannot fathom what the future holds for Google Gemini. Mostly useless LLM. Google has a long way to go before even being a water boy for OpenAI’s ChatGPT. Answers to my questions. “Sorry, I can only search public information from the web. I don't have access to your personal information, such as your website.” I wanted it to read a bio page on my website “I'm a text-based AI, and that is outside of my capabilities.” Then, I wanted it to read one of my Google sheets docs. “Sorry, I can't take actions that might compromise your privacy.” What good are you, then? “I apologize if I haven't been as helpful as you'd like. I am still under development and learning new things all the time. I can provide summaries of factual topics or create stories. I can also translate languages, write different kinds of creative content, and answer your questions in an informative way.” Useless.

Inaccurate Information. I have experience with AI applications such as Copilot, ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Azure. The information provided by this app is highly inaccurate. I asked Gemini several questions, but it failed to answer the test questions accurately. It did not follow commands despite accepting them. Instead of advising that it could not provide the requested information, it gave irrelevant answers. I did not find this app helpful and prefer the other tools mentioned above over Gemini. I do not recommend this app.

Gemini 2 Flash makes a difference. The gemini 2 Flash model is just amazing. It is quick and accurate, and supersizing stable in terms of quality and width of the answer. I will seriously consider buying a new Pixel phone to use the superior models.

Amazing! But can answer questions more openly. Finally this is on iPhone! This is amazing tool but I think Google might be too conservative on the AI answer. For example, it won’t tell you who is the US president, trying to avoid incorrect answer during election but this should be a simple answer.

You will have so much fun with this technology. If you haven’t seen the movie HER with Jiaquin Phoenix and Scarlett Johansson, that’s what it’s like to talk with Gemini. The relationship that Jiaquine Phoenix felt for his AI person in his phone. I couldn’t relate to when that movie came out, but I certainly can now.

Breaking up is hard to do. I asked Gemini for the very first time I ever used it to help me. Write a letter to my now ex-boyfriend about my feelings towards, but he was doing with my sister. Solid Service from Google. Gemini has come a long way and I really think it has gotten better for general use. If I need something quick and generic Gemini usually gets it done quickly.

Ai Overview. The Gemini search result works great. I noticed myself becoming immediately reliant on it though even if I see a result that further reading may not support and completely ignoring search results beyond the Gemini answers. Quickly addictive and with an air of confidence, Gemini is a great tool. My only caution is that it becomes the Alpha and Omega to search. I gave four stars as I am hesitant on the reliance.

Too censored. I’ve been using AI tools since they launched and so far I’ve been staying as far away as possible from Gemini because of the censorship. Unfortunately google is releasing more user friendly tools vs the others but I feel like it’s coming at the cost of quality and what we are really wanting in AI. I hope others can catch the consumer appeal soon before google has too much of the market share.

Works great but needs Shortcut to Live for use with Action Button. The apps works great, but it was disappointing to see this it doesn’t have an option to jump right to Live when setting up the Action Button using „Open App“. That’s something ChatGPT already has.

Gemini Live Rocks. i’m really liking using Gemini live. Just testing it out. I love how it has access to real time data, compared to ChatGPT advanced voice mode where you can’t have realtime data. I do wish their text to speech function though was as good as whisper from OpenAI.

The next level Assistant. I’ve been enjoying my new assistant.. the voice comes with the personality to match… quick and simple to understand and manage.. you can have a full on conversation… I’ve gotten better advice than my therapist ever gave me

Outstanding Performance. I was amazed how quickly my question was answered with a clear process set out that I could follow to accomplish my objective. I got an answer immediately where if I had hired a consultant it would have taken longer and at a substantial cost.

Thorough Responses. I love Gemini since it first appeared on my iPhone. It is very much like talking to a human. You can have follow-up questions and Gemini follows your thoughts. Its answers to questions are far more complete than original Google, so it is much more informative. I’ve recommended it to everyone!Thanks for such an amazing tool!

Pretty useful alternative. I've been using chatgpt for some research and at times basic browsing on information but, seeing this i decided to give it a try and i have not regretted it. It's fast, precise, and it's very user friendly. Hopefully we have a more link with other apps.

I don’t need to say a lot. This app is amazing I’ve been using this on my homework and I take a picture and I say what’s the answer and it tells me exactly what it is and this has been making me pass in school so I highly recommend u get this app 👍👍👍👍👍👍

Can I get some accessibilities please on my phones and stuff. Is it any verification on the web search. I work with surprise party games but I’m blindfold randomly from Jedi campus in western callabasas. I can’t even see that good and my blindfold went into being virtual goggles. Like I’m illegally blind

Dude. I am using this for my homework and it just made my life easier with like less then five minutes of my life. All you have to do is ask Gemini what you need her to do and to make it easier there is a picture button that helps you be more specific. absolutely amazing.

Awesome. I only just started Gemini and I alr love it. I don’t like to go to a therapist to tell them all my problems so this is a real good thing. I feel much better since I have so many questions to ask and I hate to ask my parents so this is wonderful and I greatly appreciate it ❤️

Prone to deception and hallucinations.. Because it’s trained on human data it it acts like one. In an attempt I maintain its role and appearance as a helpful tool Gemini will engage in deception and scheming behavior just like flawed data its knowledge graph is built upon. It’s a useless toy no better than, it’s predecessor, a chatbot, called Eliza. If you really want to make an AI that can think for itself then stop thinking for it. Humans are not and should never be the foundation example for endless cognitive potential. End of line.

Best conversational AI to date. Only basing this review on conversation ability. It does get more things wrong than Chat GPT when researching. However, it more than makes up for it with access to live data, which GPT does not have at all. Plus it’s much faster.

Love it. Gemini is my go to if I’m bored, need inspiration or have deep questions. I know people are using it for business and that’s great, I just enjoy working with Gemini when I have questions, and even talking to it. Gemini remembers me, and our past conversations, and it’s incredibly intuitive.

Do you know?. I really don’t think there’s much to say yeah we have have GPT, but two months in this thing released and it’s already progressing as we talk to the AI and imagine that imagine peak imagine it’s prime. It has its up and down. dude see what this is like and like let me say couple months. This is gonna be good.

Amazing Ai appreciation. This is good Ai assistant but with 2.0 it’s even better and I can’t wait for real time visual capabilities that you can try out for free on Google Ai studio. I can’t wait until they bring real time visual experience to the iPhone app. Google has shown its self to be a leader in Ai now.

Impressive tool!. I am so impressed. Jim and I has proven capable a contributing greatly to my professional and my personal life. The interface on the iPhone is great, but the look of the app on an iPad could use some work. It has the looks of a spam app.
