Notes to the editor. Hey guys so far the lights have been great for the project I’m working on. However this app is very limited in doing what it could be doing with these lights and I’m hoping for a revamp in the near future mostly in the music section of the app. The device doesn’t have a simple change the color with the bass mode? I’m glad I picked them up for a bargain with hopes for updates in the future

Cannot get upgrade to complete. Irritating product and less than helpful customer service.. I successfully connected to WiFi but every time it tries to download the update, it will not finish. I followed the troubleshooting guide perfectly, multiple times. Reaching out to customer service is taking forever. They ask a question, I respond immediate and have to wait 2 days just for another question. I think they have no clue and are no help. I will not buy any more of this product. I bought it for the WiFi connection for ease of use, different patterns, and the ability to use the sunset/sundown options. Such a disappointment.

Don’t bother. Not only does the app quite frankly just not work, my device will pair but not change color not change scene not do anything it was advertised to do from the box I got for the lights. You want to know what it does do? Blinks blue for 5 mins then goes back to rainbow….. Great product glad to know I blew 30$ for garbage that won’t work. Stay away from this company and find a different led company to invest in. Given with this review as angry as I am with the process the lights look good, but nothing else works. I’m going to try tomorrow to get in contact with the company to see if there’s a fix, but I really doubt they’ll change anything sense this review like many others express the same emotion and complaint.

Need more. The light strips are as popular as puck lights in my house, so I need to get more, but that’s okay. The adhesive strip wouldn’t stick to my walls on its own, so we used some 3M hooks to get them hung. And imho, it works better this way because we can pull the strips down anytime we need to dust the upper walls and ceiling. Is the app buggy? Yes. Did it take some figuring out? Yes. But I’m middle-aged and was able to figure it out on my own without the aid of one of my Gen Zs. As I saw someone else said somewhere, if you follow the instructions, you will be fine. It’s actually pretty idiot proof as long as you pay attention to the instructions.

Update horrible. this update made this app literally 100% worse. The app is extremely bright and annoying, trying too hard too look new and modern. All the controls are all over the place and crammed at the same time and super confusing to see. Also you cant seamlessly adjust the lighting anymore you have to go in and edit page then click save then it will show you what you changed, you cant even see what your changing as your adjusting it so you get the perfect color. Terrible update please bring back the old version, why is a company degrading their apps not making it better.

monster lights step. Up your game. I hate to complain but when something is bad its really bad esp if im taking time out of my life. When i have triplets i have to attend to then this is a must need to get this info out there so no one else waste time from there important lives to deal with bad products how do u even sleep at nigt knowingu charge 30 bucks for a product that the adhesive is cheap and u could of done so many other options instead of wasting money on the adhesive company u went thru they ripped u guys off im goimg to start here amd as for the app please for the love of gad have somthing good about a a smidgen of your product if u are charging 30$ the only reply i want is when i can get my money back ? I went to the dollar store and fond these great lights that a strip lights to they actually have velcro way smarter maybe monster could ask the dollar store where they got theres from and invest in that company instead. This one is a lost cause !

Add back to custom color options. I have been using these LEDs for a really long time now and have for the most part really enjoyed them. The one thing I was really upset about and has kind of caused me to move to other lights because I need certain colors is the fact that the colors are now these preset options, we used to have the ability to change the color on like a color wheel and now those options are not available at all and I can’t get a certain queue for a color that I needed in a structure that I had these LED lights in so now I have to replace them with something else that can do that

Monster Lights. Okay okay so back then I used battery powered lights from dollar general quick note the were not good only had a few setting and made my batteries spew acid but when I used my b-day money to buy these and I used them I had SOO many more features. I absolutely love the mode where it listens to music and chooses what it fits and I have a big sister and she does not like blinking lights makes her eyes hurt and now that I can turn them down it is so much better for me! Totally recommend especially if you’re looking for a good cheap alternative.

Love all of the settings!. We applied these under the edge of our bed frame hoping they would give off just enough light at night so we could see if we had to get up but not need to turn on a brighter light. They definitely meet that need for us but we weren’t expecting how much fun all of the different settings would be! Our granddaughter loves seeing the lights when she sleeps over. The only complaint I have is the adhesive on the back is basically useless. It fell off before we finished applying the first of three strips and we had to use something stronger. I see that is a common complaint. Other than that, they are great!

This app is rated 2.9 stars for a good reason!!!. The devs are so careless! The app is so hard to navigate, the colors are not accurate whatsoever, it is difficult to make your own designs because you only get to pick the colors and speed. As well as the slider not staying on the color you choose half the time. Also sometimes the app won’t let me control my lights at all until I close the app and re-open it. TLDR: there are many things about this app that absolutely ruin the quality of life in everyway. I love the LEDs but the app is BAD. I’m not a hateful person. But I’m saying this in hopes of someone listening to the problems and at the very least attempt to fix it. And if not AVOID THIS UGHHH. Only not giving 1 because I like the colors and patterns. So much potential here but is being wasted. PLEASE MONSTER LISTEN AND HELP US.

Good all around. As long as you know how to use technology and aren’t stupid, you should be able to use this app. It’s very straightforward and simple. Yes it has its bugs but so does every single other app on this platform the actual light strips themselves are pretty good other than the adhesive but the instructions clearly say don’t take it off once you attach it once so as long as you read the instructions and aren’t stupid, you should be able to get this to work, but that’s just my experience and if you can’t get it to work, it might be because it is faulty

App doesn’t work.. I don’t usually leave reviews about apps. Even some of the bad ones. This app has caused me some issues and I think other people deserve to know. The app has currently been down for days and I have to turn my lights on through the button so I can’t change the color. This app also has a lot of bugs. I don’t mean that the developers didn’t put time or energy but I’m also disappointed in how many bugs this app has. It freezes, logs you out, will delete your lights from the list, say your lights are off when they are on, and the list goes on. Spend your money on some nicer ones. As for the developers I don’t need a response and no I will not contact you through an email you never check. Hope this helps everyone!

Lights are great but can’t get in app. The app requires a email confirmation after you register, that’s fine, but none of the emails from this app will go through. I’ve tried the “resend email” option multiple times, I even tried to get it to send me one by the “forgot password “ button and still nothing. I have checked to make sure that my email is correct and have even sent emails to myself from another app. And there is no way to get into the app otherwise, no number or even a link for any issues with the app !!!

Cheap, and it shows. Maybe Monster has too many lighting products to properly support, I dunno. I had trouble finding much on-line documentation for the SmartLighting RGB+IC that I bought at WallyWorld. My experience was mixed, at best. A specific reason that I bought this product was to be able to use the timer function. Downloaded the iOS app and paired the strip to my phone without a problem. The basic controls are intuitive and work fine. However, the Timer function is completely non-operational. I have tried using both Sunrise/Sunset and setting specific On/Off times and neither works. It’s also unclear what differences there are between Timer and Routine. Nothing in the documentation explains it. The stick-up adhesive was terrible and I ended up stapling the strip into place, because there were only a couple of plastic screw-in brackets in the package, not nearly enough to support the 30’ run.

The lights don’t always connect to WiFi and they don’t give you a controller. I am NEVER buying these lights again. The app said the lights were offline even though they were on. I had to unplug them, that didn’t work. Then I had to remove them from the app and repair them to my phone and network. They are connected to my network as I can see that from my WiFi but the app is not registering that the lights are connected. This has been going on for about 4 hours now. This isn’t the first time this has happened but it’s the first time it has happened for this long. Tech support is also not helpful! NEVER AGAIN!!!!

Scene Mode. The scene mode allows the lights to change colors which I think is cool but after being on a mode for a certain amount of time it malfunctions. If I try to change the mode it’ll click on it but the lights won’t change, it’ll stay on the mode I was on for some time. It’s not terrible, to change it I just need to close the app and open it again but it does get annoying after awhile. Also if i’m on a mode and change the speed percent, it’ll change but when I try to change the mode it won’t.

Best RGB lights ever. Can’t complain at all on my Monster Smart lights. I’ve brought two of the 10 ft strips for my TV’s and I can honestly say I am pleased with the custom options I have and also pre set options as well. They set the mood for me and my family and I love the fact that I can turn them on anywhere at the convenience of my phone. Especially when I am at work and I can see trough my cameras when they are or aren’t in use. I recommend for people who are trying to have nice lights and stay on a budget monsters the way to go. 10 out of 10 rating from me.

Bad reviews? History.. uhmm first off these lights were pretty simple to set up, they did keep falling off, so i put up something i dont know what its called, but yea they turned out great! the color for orange, yellow and green were a but off but i mainly use red-orange and light blue, so i dont why everybody has bad reviews these work perfectly fine, i pick some up at dollar tree for only 5 dollars. in fact i have them on right now! so yea recommend! oh yea also scheduling just flat out does not work so if you wanna schedule lights, dont get the app

Not bad!. Honestly? Have not had a problem with these lights themselves that I couldn’t solve. The glue doesn’t stick like I would like to around corners, but it’s also on fake wood. At times the app will not open, but my phone is old. I love the ability to change the colors and match the mood I’m in. Setup wasn’t complicated, though could be explained a bit more. Overall very satisfied so far!

Awesome affects,great lighting but…. Every time I go to use this app, it has always been within a couple seconds that I get to turn it on off or switch it to any mode I like, I enjoy the tracer mode, lately. It’s been more of a hassle to use the app so I haven’t been using the lights which doesn’t have that good of a stick to it so it just keeps falling off, The app is either always kicking me off-line and I can’t log back into it. Nothing is letting me log back into it so I have to restart everything and reconnect it with the Bluetooth, and if it’s not kicking me off line, then it’s always updating, which is restarting my progress in logging back in. Overall, I don’t know why it keeps taking me off-line.

Garbage app. It has the option to put the lights on a a schedule but when you click save it doesn’t save the schedule. I honestly thought buying this brand would guarantee me a quality product but for the app to literally not even work for the most basic function of setting a schedule makes the whole product useless. I’m not going to manually turn these lights on and off everyday so looks like I’m returning them and I will absolutely never buy a monster product again not even an hdmi cable. If you guys care this little about your customers that you didn’t even bother to finish the app that’s needed to control the products you’re selling us then you don’t deserve our business.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. These are by far the worst version of the LED strip lights that money could buy. To start the list of horrendous features brought to you by this cheap company, they don’t stick, not even a little bit, so right off the bat you’re in for frustration. Once you’ve placed those brackets and give it support, you will have sagging loops between brackets because they just simply do not stick to anything. IF you have managed to not rip your LED strip into pieces by now, you should be onto the setup. What a pain in the behind that is. Connect to bluetooth, type in your wifi, do all that, all while the strips are slowly peeling off. This part is just tedious and most of the time it does not connect anyway. BUT IF IT DOES! Then you have saggy light strips, but you’re able to control them! Give it a week, you’ll go to turn them on/off and all of the sudden, it just wont work. THIS IS THE FUN PART! Reconnection: Don’t even try to hold the button for ten seconds and reconnect, save yourself 20 mins and just un plug them and throw them away. They will NOT reconnect to the same wifi it was working on just hours before. Before closing out, id like to state that this is the ONLY review I’ve ever left on an app. Yes. That bad.

This app is frustrating and these lights should just have a remote.. I have had these lights for a few weeks now, and I had to download this app and create an account to turn my LEDs on and off. I really only open the app in the morning and at night, to turn them off. The app has disconnected to my lights three times now, causing me to go through the entire bluetooth connection process, where the lights flash bright blue and off repeatedly until the connection is restored. This can take anywhere from a few minutes to half an hour, depending on if your internet it out or not because it’s the middle of the night so they are doing scheduled maintenance and now your lights won’t connect to your phone to turn them off. For the love of everything that is good on this earth, give a remote with the LED lights, this app is frustrating and inconvenient.

Weird Glitches. I love this app, But I probably should’ve gotten a remote LED one instead. This app is good! It’s just that it has some errors. Usually most of the time, when I turn off my led lights for a long time, the app kind of like *deletes??* my LED light thingy. Like, it deletes the light in the app and I have to connect it to the app again. It takes so long and the last time I did it, it took about a year for the whole app to actually update and then connect my LEDS back to the app. It’s a really weird glitch I’ve been getting a lot and I really hope they fix it soon :(

Wouldn’t Recommend. Do not bother with this companies product. Their product quality has dropped drastically over the last year. I’ve purchased two LED lights from this company now and the older model is surprisingly the better of the two. I use the old one to light my bedroom and the new one for the living room. The first one has easy installation and was no problem to connect to the app… but the newest one… is garbage. Mind you these lights are the exact same models, one was just purchased 3-4 months later. The 2.0 isn’t even half as bright as the first gen on it’s highest setting. The 2.0’s app needs to reconnect with the lights every two weeks and on top of that the app requires you to update itself in order to use the lights every other month… guys it a string with light going through it. How many updates could this possibly need!? The connection process was a lot more difficult than the instructions made it seem and overall i’m just disappointed with this 2.0 model.

Why is there so many bad reviews? This app is not that bad!. I set up these Monster Smart Lighting LED lights behind my tv, process was simple and easy but they wouldn’t stick to the tv so we had to use tape. I lost the remote to the LED’s and decided to use the app and let me tell you, it is really cool! There are 3 different types of modes: Static, Dynamic, and DIY. Static consist of different holiday colors like Halloween (Yellow and Orange), and Festive (Green and Orange) Along with many other colors. For the Dynamic mode, you can do animate the LED lights like the ones in the Static ones. Like color swing, Light Show, Vortex, Halloween, Festive, etc. lastly, the 3rd one is DIY. This mode is animating LED lights but better, the animations are the lights going around in a circle or flashing. You can control the brightness and speed of the lights and choose different colors. Overall pretty solid.

Functional App, Temperamental Lights. So the app itself is very functional. You can control all the features, set groups, and all the other stuff you can do with any smart lighting app. The issue is the lights. I’ve had a lot of trouble paring my IC RGB Light Bars to my network, even though literally every other smart device in my home works on the wifi. Once the lights do pair, anytime my phone loses connection with wifi (ie when I leave the house), when I get back- the lights will read as though they are offline. That means I have to do the whole process again. I had 2 good days where it stayed paired after leaving the house- but otherwise, it’s very annoying and has caused me to use these lights as random garage lights, and not main room lights.

App barely works. If I could give this app zero star, I would. The app barely ever works, and when it does it shuts me out. The lights on the other hand don’t even work. The sticky adhesive does not stick as it’s been licked like a lollipop; Coming right out the box they are this way. I don’t understand why they were $30 if they don’t even work, let alone give us an app for it that doesn’t even work. The app worked once and that was it. I’m more irritated about the lights though because they said they were adhesive but they weren’t. They were absolute trash. I would not recommend these to anybody, not even someone I hated, and that says something about this app and product.

Great lights hate the new update. Forever love these light and I will for ever love the old version of the app. I used to turn my lights on to this specific color on the old color wheel that the app used to have. But now with this update I can’t choose my favorite custom colors anymore like i used to. Please bring back that color wheel. I just updated the app yesterday and I’m yearning for my signature color back. When it comes to the app performance it’s self it’s all good until it’s comes to changing colors it’s starts glitching, delaying, or just completely gets stuck. I miss the old version of the app never had problems. !!!!! Please bring back the variety of colors back !!!!!

Why I would buy these. I like the lights because I’m a person who loses remotes like it’s nothing and would constantly lose my old LED remotes so whenever I got these new lights and I found out that they were controlled by an app on your phone. It was a blessing because I never have to worry about losing a remote again and they’re so easy to understand in the app. They also have a bunch of different settings and you can customize it based on your mood. I love them so much.

DIVAS LISTEN. 🖤🎶. I’ve been obsessed with these lights but I was randomly logged out of my account out of the blue? I tried resetting my password, even creating a new account but NONE of the emails I requested were ever sent through. - UPDATE: I have SUCCESSFULLY logged in and I have no issues with my LEDs or the app, UNFORTUNATELY I did have to make a new account, Otherwise I am very very happy this is VALID Diva activities for them fixing the issue. Not so for the fact my account went missing but that’s on my part since I didn’t remember which email I had used originally. 7.9/10 experience 😋

Ruins the Quality of the Product. When I first bought the Monster LEDs ropes, i was in love with the quality of the lights and the ways I was able to use them. Even from the start, I felt the app was really holding the lights themselves back, limited customizable features, preset modes were lacking and buggy, sound reaction virtually doesnt work in any meaningful way. Then came the update midway through 2025, unbelievable how much worse it made the already disappointing app. The input lag between the lights is absurd now. The lighting effects struggle to sync, the customization was further boxed in, and now the lighting GROUPS literally dont work, if they even still exist. I was able to do a few cool things with the initial version of the app when I bought the lights, now I hardly use them because this app is embarrassingly bad. These lights are capable and programmable to a stage level, DMX use, individual sequencing, etc, the only problem? The forced use of an app that crushed any of those features, and only seems to get worse. Please please please, either open the hardware to 3rd party control, or make this app capable of using the capabilities built in to USER WANTS. This app makes a 9/10 product about a 4/10.

love a brand that listened to they’re customers but... I’ve had this app for maybe about a year at when I first purchased the lights I didn’t necessarily expect the app to be so laggy, while I do find the new update to look better, it doesn’t necessarily function better than the older version. Which so sooo sad!!! great product just happens that the app still lags and when certain colors are wanted it shows different colores which were not the desired.

Great change but…. We all know the last design of the app was terrible. So yall changed it! Good. There’s one tiny thing though. The app has a color scroll wheel and now it’s just presets to select from. Maybe you could have both? If not a response as to why would be nice because for some reason the purple button makes my lights blue and Ofcourse so does the blue button. So I went looking for a color wheel and couldn’t find it.

App. Is anyone else having trouble with their lights/app? Yes at first it was a little trouble to get them to stick on the wall. but eventually I got them. My biggest problem right now is that the lights and apps seem to be constantly disconnecting. I’m having to download the app over again and I’m having to log in and out of the account and I’m also having to delete the lights and then re-add them. And I’m also having to reset them and it’s just a long process. I really like the lights I like the settings. I just don’t understand what’s going on. I would really like some advice. she was leaving

TERRIBLE APP. If I could give this app, a zero star rating, I probably would. When this app is actually working, it’s not that bad. But when it randomly disconnects and you can’t control the lights anymore and you go to try to reconnect them and it takes you over 30 minutes or longer to try to reconnect them.. not worth your money. The lights themselves are nice. But the app they’re running to use them is not very good. Wish we still had remotes that came with these type of lights more often than having to do phones for the controls.

Garbage app. UPDATE:2026 It’s gotten even worse and no matter what you click the lights never change, they just get stuck on whatever you set them to last. I will definitely never buy anything from this brand again, somehow they only made things worse and made their app even more worthless than it was before. If you’re reading this, buy literally any other brand light. Constantly says the lights are offline despite being on a good connection, making me have to unplug them to turn them off. Not to mention the app just refusing to work half the time, geeni brand lights are far more responsive and have better color. Honestly the worst strips of lights I have ever bought and the app makes it even more terrible to try and use them, the new update also made the app just look terrible. So not only does the app not work well, it looks horrible while doing it. I’d rather start a fire every time I want ambiance than use any LED paired with this app.

Cant even customize anymore?. Ive noticed in the recent changes that the app doesn’t allow anymore customization towards the preset lights, a feature that was one of my favorite things about these lights and the app… this became such a tacky application with its bright background blinding my eyes with it too… you guys even removed the color wheel to change the color light ! It was much more convenient since you also had the preset colors down with the wheel as well!? You literally had both of them so why remove the wheel when it was much more easier and satisfying for the customers own customnlights to be used? Please bring them back brotatas i actually really enjoy your lights and would hate to see this be the direction of this company… i am begging you with my dear life i have been perplexed that you had to ruin it like this, you guys had such a great run please don’t give up on us 🫩

why not to get this app, it’s a waste.. At first I thought this was a decent product, but when I when go put it above my bed, the adhesive wasn’t sticky enough and kept falling every 2 secs I wasn’t holding it to the wall, so I had to tape it, after I had spent all my time putting it up, it’s highly difficult to connect ( which I didn’t even make it past the WiFi connection part) as you have to switch through every mode 3-4 times before you can even have a chance to get it to flash blue, even once you do it takes a bit, which is okay but not preferred. But once I got to the part where you connect it to the internet, even if my password was correct, I would sit there for 30 mins to an hour and even then I would be left with “trying to connect”. At this point it would just be better to spent 100 dollars for a led strip. Devs, do something about your app. It’s horrid and can be easily improved.

Good Lights. The lights themselves are great I got them for my girlfriend for Christmas, the only thing I would change up is the app that is connected to them there’s few color options and the DIY section is finicky every time I’ve tried to customize it after I have saved it the whole option for exapmle color wipe is no longer there for me and it was my favorite all around worth it I’m just hoping this review will help the cause to get an update for the app in the right direction. I would absolutely recommend these lights

Decent App, Bugs and Issues Report.. Hello, I’m KJ. I’m writing this review because I liked the fact that this lighting system was an app instead of a remote so I don’t lose the remote itself. However, I’ve experienced some issues with the app, especially lately with the new UI and Layout. The problem I started to have with the old and continuing with the new is that the color system broke. I love using orange lights, but in the old UI the orange button broke and was always turning my lights yellow. Additionally, this was not the only color, as I had similar issues with Blue, Purple, Green, and a few others. Due to this, I had to drag the color to orange by myself Everytime I wanted to change the color one of the colors which did not match the button. Speaking of which, I heavily dislike that you removed the color wheel option. This removed a lot of freedom and accessibility for peoples’ LED light strips. Another thing, the saving colors option isn’t working correctly. If I’m in red and hold it down, open the in-color color changing bar, slid it to the left to make orange, and then save it; the color no longer is the cockle I made it, rather it’s just red and not orange. Overall, there are bugs to be fixed and changed. The UI of the app or at least bring back the color wheel in the light settings, or just make a toggle for old destiny’s versus new settings.

Cool lights. I randomly decided to make a cloud wall for my kids bedroom because they like having night lights but always break them. So I bought everything needed to create the cloud wall and once I finished I decided to do my room as well because I thought it looked cool. And also put a strip behind my tv to in the living room. I haven’t had any issues with any of my strips. My kids love how their room look and so do I. I like the different light shows and that I can control with my phone. Very cool

One problem. They are great led light with a wide variety of colors and themes, but oh my gosh they often say offline or they disconnect out of nowhere and it’ll be 2am I’m tryna go to bed and my led light won’t turn off because they disconnected or say offline. Like what does offline even mean?! My WiFi is fine so I don’t u detest and why is disconnecting like the whole reason I got these was because I can control it with my open and its convenient but in reality they just are annoying and disconnect. But other than that the lights itself are great

DO NOT BUY THESE. The only reason I rated this a five was so people would see it. At first the lights worked fine, although they didn’t stick well even though I dusted around the room before setting them up. Fast forward a couple weeks, and one section breaks. It didn’t bother me that much because it was only a small area. A month later, the lights randomly turn white and don’t turn off using the remote or the app so I have to unplug it. Now they are a completely nonfunctional. Please do some research on the company that sells the lights before buying :)

Midnight snack. I must say if it were not for my son having me order him so many items from this company i would never have used them! Now when i can’t see where I placed my glass of water or cookies or any snack, I just pick up my phone and bam snacks here I come. jk These are one of the best! Must Buy!!! They work very well! i have them connected to my tv’s, and more. definitely looking to try more products! ❤️❤️❤️

Needs improving. This app has several flaws in it. Even though I save the color options and configuration I want, every time I go back in it changes the sequence and colors. Before I was able to change the hue of each color and now I can’t. Way too many bugs in the app for these lights to be decent. And I should be able to control each light. Not a section of lights. For Christmas I’ll never be able to do a red,white, green layout with three lights. When I do those three colors it makes me house look like a giant Italian flag haha do better Monster lighter and you’ll have a more competitive lighting system. For now it’s too weak to keep them.

Waste of time and money. The Lights work fine, but if want to do anything with them other than make them flash rainbow i would go for another brand. The app needs a wifi connection to be able to even set up the lights, then it has to update the lights. i sat around for 20 minutes waiting for my lights to update (yep, never thought id have to wait for lights to update but here we are.) I feel bad that my grandma spend good money on these thinking i could customize them when in reality you have to jump through a million hoops just to get them to pair to the app. i honestly would not recommend these lights or brand to anyone because of this. 30$ is way to much to spend for and app that supposed to work and doesn't.

Terrible. The price of them for the amount of length I got was extremely good. But the lights themselves were not. The color of them is very vibrant and I like that. They don’t stick to my walls at all though. I did everything the steps told me to, wipe the walls down with rubbing alcohol, let it dry, make sure the wall isn’t bumpy and put them on. They just didn’t stick. They were literally falling off of my walls while I was trying to hang them up. I even was trying to use some sort of super glue to hold them up and that didn’t even work. Make these more sticky and maybe they’ll be better.

Great app bad limitations. I like the brightness and compatibility, but i dont like how you have just updated it. You made the app BRIGHTER than some of the light options, not only that but ask yourself why add limitations that werent present: limiting how many colors you can have on a color chase or "RGB" tracers. I find this inconsistent especially when you changed the style, easy accessibility, and easy navigation To bright, inconvenient, and restricted. Been a loyal customer for 3 years

Connection errors. I really do enjoy these lights, but about every week I find myself struggling to repair the lights app wise. They do a random light setting then next thing you know, my device is no longer paired with the lights and I can’t get them to reconnect. The WiFi is strong, the lights clearly work and I follow all instructions, the WiFi settings are never changed and they still don’t work, these are my only lights in my room due to my dog breaking my lamp so it’s extremely frustrating to come across this issue when nothing else has changed outside of the lights. My WiFi settings never change, and the lights always stay plugged in.

App quality. When it said make your leds in pairing mode mine did but it never connected and overall when I click the button fast it starts loading which wastes my time since I have a shirt fuse

Really bad leds and huge scam. I’m here to give you the honest review of these leds unlike these bots. DO NOT BUY THESE LEDS. They can’t connect to the app, and without the app the only light option is white flashing extremely fast which gives you a headache. They have terrible build quality and are just a scam.

So easy and simple to setup and use. I can’t believe how simple the set up and installation of this product is. The app makes it super easy to use and controls different lighting effects and it seems seamlessly with my Google Home devices as well.

My honest opinion. I bought the this week brand new, I set them up and turned them on they worked at first, I then noticed that they won’t ever connect or change color and I’ve tried to look up videos to see if there was a clinical error, however they only stay on one color setting and won’t change and there’s nothing that can be done at this point, waste of almost 40 dollars, and seems like lots of people have this problem. Big developer issue.

One of a kind. The lights are amazing , the aren’t just regular LED lights they work as a date night , party and much more. They features they have on the app is just so amazing, Not to mention the diy side of the light where you can create your own scene!

Rating. At first, I didn’t know how to work this but then after I read the instructions I figured out how to connect it. It’s so pretty as multiple different settings to choose from 1010. Purchase would definitely purchase again.

Best LED lights out there!!. I have went through many LED lights and they have all either went out or started to fade within a year. These LED lights gave me a good feeling due to the quality I feel like i could trust the product over any others.

lights. it’s a really a good app to use if you lost your controller but only reason it gets a 4 star is because of the colors i choose from it glitches and it takes me a minute to get it right other than that its amazing and this is my first time i really like this brand and i think i will be buying more from them pretty good app in my opinion really good connection i could turn them on and off from 4 blocks away and change color and you can make a time when you want them off or on it’s amazing and i think it’s really great for a bed frame (from experience)

Great Product. I have bought lighting for my room but nothing compares to my Monster Smart Lighting. Give great clear light for my vibes. Especially when I have it on glitter party mode. Feel like I’m in club. Easy setup and always puts in a great mood. Highly recommend.

Easy to use and very good display. I bought this and well yes the adhesive was inferior to other LED strips, all I did was use some clear thumbtacks to help pin it up and they stayed right where I put them, I love the options in the app and it’s perfect for my gaming room, love this product.

100ft lights. I love these lights so so much! They’ve held up amazingly in my bedroom xD the only “issue” i’ve had so far is they’ll randomly disconnect but it’s EXTREMELY easy to get them back up and working again so i guess it’s not really an issue. I love them so much and would totally buy again

Monster Led lights. I purchased a led strip I believe 100 ft and its amazing, Its easy to control through the app and its reactive. all the colors are bright and synced up nicely. You can also customize them so its very user friendly as well. Highly reccomend 5 stars

Solid way to light a space!. Overall the performance of the light is worth the small cost. Strips perform their job great with minimal issues. Only issue is a sometimes occasional connectivity issue with the app in certain areas but I’m sure it may be on a case by case basis. App is terrific and does the job just fine!

They are good a bit. So I got these monsters, smart, lighting, LED lights and I set them up, but I looked at other people’s reviews and I saw that they would not stick on the wall so they had to use other things mines right now will not stick to the wall, but it’s OK because they still do a good job of lighting up the room…👍💕

Don’t waste your money!!!!!. After having the led lights for a few months the app is starting to not work it would glitch on and off I cant even go into my app to turn them on off at this point I would have to unplug them, the led strips barely sticking onto my wall which is really frustrating and annoying. But overall when it was working it was cool to use and play with.

Best company of lighting I’ve tried. It’s the best and it’s cheap I’ve had mine for over 4 months and although it doesn’t seem like a long time it is for me some other of my led lights would die out but these haven’t. Great product

10 out of 10 do recommend. This lights really brighten up my room and actually make my room look colorful , as a girly who don’t like light , I can adjust the lighting on how bright and dim I want it and it works perfectly fine . I do love my lights ! I may purchase more ☺️

Not bad for the price. I have had little to zero complaints on the app its self and think it works just fine. However my led strip I have had for about 9 months now came out of the box with some LEDs not working, however it hasn’t gotten worse and has sticked to my wall pretty good. Over all pretty good quality for the price.

WHY SO BAD REVEWS?. Ok this app is good and it paired really well and it also quick and I got a pair of leds for my tv and one for my room and I’m a Miami dolphins fan and i can make the ones around my room teal and the one around my tv orange good for all the games it is really good i think people don’t know how to use technology

Best lights I can find!. This light I’ve got I picked up months ago and it’s one of the best lights I’ve had. I have had so many others before and they either quit working all together or don’t stay on. This brand finally nailed both of them!

It’s great, but I have one suggestion. This is a really great app but for the themes, maybe you guys could add a make your own theme and have a little section for that and I really don’t know how the music thing works so maybe make that a little more clear but overall this is a very great app and I recommend it😁

Good!. There are some bugs where my lights flicker out, I think that’s just my lights being old, I’ve had them for over a year and they have been my favorite ones yet! The app makes it easy and accessible for everyone!

It’s ALMOST there but... I have the Smart Lighting RGB+IC Flow Light Strip and I love all the features and functions of the app. My fave is probably the schedule/timer capability. My biggest issue with the app is is how unresponsive it can be, and the frequency of such issue. At times is does freeze entirely and I have to just close out until it decides to come back online, (no it is not a WiFi connectivity issue).

Bro-. The truth is that the app works perfectly for a few months then the problems start, the app is useless and it is super frustrating to me in fact I could not turn them off or turn them on in addition to the fact that they cost me 30 dollars and I had to glue the lights with another glue since it did not work the one that was included with the lights is too stressful. And now by accident I restart the lights and I can't set them up again.

These lights are better. This is so worth it to buy. All I have to do is go on my phone and I can choose any mold and any color and it’s amazing how I don’t have to search for a remote to turn on my lights and they’re good high-quality too. I would recommend.

Wide selection and easy app. The light strip has a variety of options to choose from dimmable stand still lighting to movable lighting. It has a timer to turn off and on which is very useful. Highly recommend especially for the price.

Honestly quite disappointing. I’ve had these for at the most 2-3 months and a solid 1/5 of them are just tweaking out and not working. Some lights won’t turn on and the others are other colors. I’ve restarted them multiple times, I’ve tried changing the color, I’ve turned them off for HOURS, nothings working.

I love this product and app. I got led light because I missed having them, and I went with the monster led lights, it was a good decision! If I’m listening to music I can change my setting to listen for music and follow the beat which is kinda impressive!! I love these so much 100% recommend!

Smart TV Lighting. We’ve had this product on the back of one of our kiddos TV’s for going on a year now. The lights are so much fun, and work really well. We’ve been very impressed with them and are going to buy more for our sons TV now!

Monster lighting led light strip. They are awesome lights I have them thru my hole house almost. This is not the first time I have had them either. I had monster lighting leds thru my whole old house and They have never given me a problem there some of the best lights I have ever had

Great for gaming monitors. I set up these Monster Smart Lighting LED lights at the back of my gaming monitor the process was simple and easy. This model is animating LED lights, You can control the brightness and speed of the lights and choose different presets, you can also control the lighting with your phone, pretty cool product.

Light staying on and consistent. These lights are pretty good, but there are a few sections that don’t light up, until I turn the lights off and then back on and not to mention the different colors that appear when I have it on one setting, but other than that I like my lights.

✌️. I have installed the strip lights and the tall lamps in my room and its been 7months. All the items are still in intact working condition without any problem And i have also installed underglow lights in my car and save experience with that one too.

Remote Free. From someone who has purchased different brands , I like the idea of using your phone instead of a remote ! Not having to worry looking for a misplaced remote or it getting damaged. Easy to set up and has a variety of options!

Monster LED strips need Bluetooth. Unless I’m mistaken, but using only Wi-Fi after the initial setup limits the uses of the strip. I was hoping I could maintain a Bluetooth connection (not use Wi-Fi) for use in my golf cart. Other than not having Bluetooth connectivity, the strip and app work great and offer sooo many different scenes. Very cool and still worth the cost!
