Number Sums - Numbers Game Comments & Reviews 2026
Don’t bother with this game. This game is overloaded with ads to the point where it ruins the experience. You start with two “lives,” and once they’re gone, you have to watch a commercial to continue. The problem? These commercials are ridiculously long and unavoidable. Even before starting a game, it prompts you to watch an ad. Finish a round? Another ad. Some of them are several minutes long, and just when you think it’s over, another part plays—sometimes even a third segment. I’ve spent more time watching ads in the few days I’ve had it than actually playing. While the game itself has potential, the ad overload makes it unbearable. So, If you enjoy non-stop commercials, this is the game for you. If not, look elsewhere.
Fantastic puzzle!. I’m playing a ton more of this than I expected to want to do. Puzzles are quick, easy, and if you need to stop in the middle it saves exactly where you were. There’s a few quality of life features, however, that are sorely lacking. 1. Change the color of the last square we touched, please! When an ad pops up it can be hard to remember where you were and it’s annoying to have to figure things out again instead of clicking the rest of the line you were on. 2. Don’t mark an error until we try to touch a number *after* the mistake. Sometimes I forget whether I was on the pencil or eraser. Again, if the last square is colored (maybe red for erase or green for pencil with the number grayed out) we can check our own mistakes. 3. Let us tap the eraser mark on a row or column to erase all the remaining numbers in that row. 4. And most importantly, if all rows and columns are either empty or showing erasers, *please* just clean up the rest of the board for me. I just won. Don’t make me feel like I have to do chores to celebrate.
biblical levels of greed. overall a pleasant experience when it comes to gameplay and the navigation of said gameplay (events, levels, competition, etc.) but it is almost completely overshadowed by the unreasonable amount of ads. it is absolutely INSANE for me to finish a level, get an ad, and then get ANOTHER ad trying to proceed to the next level. it’s also often that you get ads mid game, because the barrage of advertisement between levels is somehow not enough. this would easily be a five if the ads weren’t in such annoying abundance; it’s an incredible concept with a nicely executed layout and gameplay system. i cannot play without feeling incredibly irritated each time, however, which almost ruins the experience.
It’s fine.. As I write this I am level 448. The ads are a bit much. Most rounds will have at least 3 ads. Hints are useless as you can just guess and have a chance of getting it right, and if wrong you just watch an ad to keep playing. Making watching an ad for a hint worse than watching an ad to continue the game. An issue I have often : You run out of lives, so you watch an ad to keep playing. You click one number that’s correct and you immediately get another ad. So you only get one move between ads and maybe 5 seconds. This happens nearly every time I watch an ad to continue the game. Any time it compliments you it means it’s giving you an ad. “Amazing” throws an ad in your face. I don’t mind ads but they’re excessive in this app. And covering it up with a compliment, well that just seems insulting almost.
Purchase no ads to make it playable. I’ll start out by saying that no ads for this game is a one time $5 USD charge, which is so much better than some other puzzle games that charge subscription fees or insane amounts. I have always been of the mind that if I like a free game, I’ll buy some add on from the developer (usually no ads) because I don’t mind spending money on a great app. This game is fun and challenging. I probably would have bought no ads anyways. That being said, I want new players to know that at some point (I’m not sure if it was a change that happened at some time, or if it happens once you get to a certain level) the game starts throwing ads at you mid-puzzle. In my opinion, this really takes the steam out of completing the puzzle. You could be adding numbers in your head and suddenly not see them anymore. To me, it’s pretty annoying and disruptive. I understand why the devs did it, but I want to let anyone know before they go into it since it made the game a lot harder for me.
Too many ads. Have been playing this game the last few days. Made it to level 69 pretty quick. There are now way too many adds. I understand that you make money from the ads, but there is a tipping point where there are too many ads. You even display several ads per game when the user doesn’t make a mistake. The toggle button should not change from erase to select when you click on the erase side. It should be on the side that you actually tap. Of course you may be doing that to purposely make the user be on the wrong setting. Thus eliminating one of the lives to ensure they have to watch more ads. I guess it is time to move on to another game.
So many ads. The game is fun so far, but the number of ads is excessive. I get that there is often an ad between levels, but sometimes an ad pops up in the middle of playing. It’s super annoying because I then have to try to figure out what I was just going to do in the game. This is all in addition to the ads on the bottom of the screen, which don’t really bother me. It’s $10 to remove ads which I would just pay if I really like a game, but it’s hard to even decide how much I like it because it feels like I’ve spent half my time playing just waiting to close out of ads.
QUESTION. I know someone else that plays this game, we are on the same version of the game, but some small details are changed and it makes the experience of playing a lot different. In my version, when I click a correct number in a column, it will update the sum on the outside of the box and the number I clicked will disappear. In their version of the game, when the click a number, it will circle the number, the number will remain on the screen, and a smaller number will be added next to the sum on the outside of the box while the original sum is not updated like in my version. Why is this? I’ve explored the settings and don’t see any option to change this and am wondering if I’m missing something. I would like to play their version of the game if possible because it’s a little more thought provoking
Not there. Has potential but poorly executed. Instead of working through your choices and submitting, it penalizes you when selecting and only provides two lives. This means you can’t work out options before committing and, after level 10 or so, many possible permutations make it a guessing game not a logic puzzle. Also, the greed pushes the ad frequency past a tolerable level. If you’re okay with a sometime MineSweeper-like guess-or die model, and already plan to buy, this might be your thing. But if you prefer ad-driven use or logic, this may not be for you. Update: Impressive that the developer responds to reviews. Will keep an eye on this app.
Was great fun but deleting…. Fun game, excellent, smooth interface. Started out by playing an ad between each game which is annoying but the game was worth it. Quitting because it now plays ads multiple times within each game. I do not understand why the ads repeat either. If I have seen your game in an ad and did not like it, or downloaded it and deleted it due to boredom or ads, showing me the same add multiple times is not going to make me download it. Such boring repetition, makes me delete your game, too. Sad that there seems to be no purchase option because I would have paid a few bucks for this game without ads.
Ridiculous amount of ads. This app has a great premise, in theory, but the fact they constantly shove ads down your throat-both for making "great" moves and for running out of lives-is ridiculous. It's common for the later but the "reward" for making "good" moves is you have to sit through other ad. Lucky us! I usually have no problem paying to have ads removed but this approach has me deleting the app instead of paying for it because it feels like all they care about it making you pay to play vs the game experience. Hopefully they'll fix this. If not, I'd imagine other similar apps offer a better experience up front that justifies paying the price.
Excellent Game Play - Annoying Ads. Love playing this game, but the ads are getting ridiculous. Now there’s an ad for “Match Factory” that is 2 minutes! And after watching to get another life, after my very next move an in-game ad pops up. Also, I see others saying it’s only $4.99 to remove ads (which I did on Sudoku - same company) but on my iPad it’s $9.99. I’m very close to giving up the game. ***EDIT: I see I got the same response from the developers that others got for the same issues with the ads. They will not review their ad policies as it is making money for them.
Game has potential, except for two issues:. This is a well thought out logic game. If you enjoy Sudoku, this is another game that will use similar skills. Levels vary in difficulty, and there are also daily challenges to win trophies each month. However, there are 2 issues: 1. While you expect ads in free games, most have the decency to place them between levels. This game will break your train of thought with an ad during your current level. Then, you get an ad when you finish a level. This wouldn’t be bad, except that you immediately get a second ad when you click “next level.” The longer I played, the more frequent the ads came. 2. The mechanics of the game are such that it is easy to make a mistake in your marking (either circle or erase each number.) You have to tap circle mode or erase mode, and you constantly switch back and forth. The switch isn’t even debounced, so it often flips itself back due to an accidental double tap. The bottom line: I deleted this logic game, due to a twitchy mechanic and an unbearable amount of ads.
I NEED MORE LIVES. 2 lives is absolutely absurd. i can’t tell you how many times i have gotten so close to completing the table only to misclick with one life left and then been forced to restart from the beginning. this is absolutely brutal on the 9x9 tables, and being forced to restart when i have 2 columns left out of 9 rows and columns i straight up refuse to play the game for days. this game is fun and interesting, great concept, but that frustration is keeping me from fully enjoy this game. i would have so much more fun playing this game if i literally had just 1 more life.
Ads are a bit much lol. Edit: Lol can’t stand these obvious PR responses. People have been complaining about ads for months and clearly devs don’t intent to do anything about it despite what the response implies. I assume they keep things this way because they want people to buy the ad-free version. I can respect that, I know games cost time and money to develop, but if your words don’t mean anything anyways, just keep your mouth shut. -1 star for dishonesty. The puzzles are actually fun, but ads kind of ruin it. I’d play this game a lot more if they didn’t interrupt you literally in the middle of a puzzle. Stick to between levels like every other game. Having to toggle between the eraser and pencil tools doesn’t appeal to me personally. I’d like if there was a setting where you could choose to tap to erase a number and hold to circle it. I’ll be checking for any updates in the future, but for now it’s a back burner game for me.
Lack of explanations. I do enjoy this game, although not my favorite. I agree with the many, many other people who have complained about ads in the middle of the game breaking your concentration. Kind of the same with getting an extra life, by the time the ad is done I have to figure out which number I was on and whether I need to circle it or erase it. I also agree with having a feature to turn on or off an auto erase option once you’ve circled the correct numbers in a row or column. Lastly, and to my point of not enough explanations. I had to reinstall the game a couple of times just to see the tutorial again because I didn’t understand, nor do I yet fully understand, how the colored blocks impacts your selection or elimination of numbers. As well as, what are the tiny blocks with a number in the upper left hand corner of some of the blocks?! I cannot figure out any pattern or clue they may be providing at all!
Good until not.. So it started off as a great brain teaser. The logic is sound when you crunch the numbers and it helps with keeping you focused on solving. I was fine with having an ad after each puzzle since a game needs some revenue right? Then they throw in an ad half way while your solving it. Great way to destroy your immersion in solving the problem. By the way still an ad at the end. Then they will throw in two ads while your solving with an ad at the end… this is where I give up. I can’t have my concentration torn so many times trying to solve a puzzle!
Do not get. It’s is a neat game, but three problems make this version not worth getting. 1. The print for the colored squares is too small to read. If you have vision problems… stop right here and pick another version. 2. You only have 2 errors per game before you lose and have to reset. I’m on level 7 and have started over 3 times. My memory won’t hold the previous errors so I keep losing after the resets. This game is supposed to help me hold/strengthen my memory, not make me so angry that it gets worse. And 3. There are too many add!!! In the middle of the game, when you select the next 2 numbers to erase, you pick one to erase, BAM! You are forced into a commercial. When it comes back to the game, it resets and the eraser becomes a select JUST before you select the second number to erase. Instead of erasing, you now selected it. BAM! Error. Game over with the lousy “2-lives set up. Level 7 and I’m deleting this version. Hope there is another version by another company.
Great game but ads freeze. I really enjoy this game. The ads can be a bit annoying but definitely tolerable. My only issue is the ads freeze and you can’t exit out. You can close out the app, but it starts your level over. It usually does it as you are close to finishing. The ONLY option is leave and wait for the app to reset itself, which takes a while. Please correct this because I’m tired of restarting the levels over.
Challenging but enjoyable. First game I have written a review on. First, let me admit I like numbers - and that’s what this is, so if you want more than maybe not for you. what I LOVE about this game: it’s no timed, so if I need to think, I can. It doesn’t waste my time with silly “fluff” - it’s hard, but can be solved - I’m almost 70 and this challenges my brain, it is based on skill and not on luck - the only thing is sometimes a add comes up in the middle and I’ve lost what my train of thought- but that’s very minor - this may be the first game I will purchase a no add version - I really enjoy this game
Simple and fun…. But then the developers turned it into a world wide competition. Not a fan I was disappointed by the developer’s response to my review “just ignore that part”. I have been playing this for months. I decided to support the developers and buy the ad elimination feature. Simple game, no stress. Then the developers change the premise and created a competition. There response was to tell me to stop playing that portion of the game. To the developers, instead of telling a supporting customer to stop playing a significant portion of your game, why don’t you provide the ability to opt-out of the competition. From the looks of the scores, the competition doesn’t appear to be very popular anyway.
Good game, but WAY too many ads. I will agree with other reviews that have stated that this is a fun and challenging game. But, the number of ads is simply obscene. Just now, I opened the game and clicked to continue a board I had been playing, and I had to get through an ad before I could play. Then, I made two moves and another ad. This is an extreme example, but the biggest issue that I have with the ads in this game are the mid-level ads. It happens way too often that I’m working through a logical thought process and taking multiple steps to solve a board and, right in the middle of this process, an ad plays. I’ve had this break my chain of thought on numerous occasions. As you might be able to tell from my review, I haven’t deleted the game. It is a good game. But the mid-level ads are extremely frustrating. If they got rid of those, I’d give this game two more stars. As it is, I’ve been about to delete it on several occasions, but I’ve opted to simply stop playing for a while instead.
Super Fun Math Game. I really enjoy any kind of puzzle game, especially when it involves logic and/or math. And this game really fits the bill. Like most games, there are ads that you have to watch. Most of the time, I put up with the ads because I never know if the game is really worth while or not. I could tell within a few rounds that this was going to be one of my favorite games, so I purchased the ad-free version without hesitation. When a good game like this comes along, I don’t mind paying for it and supporting the developer. I end up with an ad-free game that I can relax and take my time playing and the developer gets compensated for a well-designed game. If you like math and puzzle games, I recommended that you try this one. I rarely leave app reviews, but I felt like this game was so good, that I needed to put my thoughts out there.
Function That Erases Incorrect Numbers Was Removed. This is unacceptable! When you select all correct numbers in a row, the game used to autocomplete the row by erasing the remaining numbers. With the last update, this has been changed. Not sure why the video to advertise the game still shows that feature being part of the game. I’ve read from other reviewers that they were told this was done to enhance the game experience. For who! Those who have been playing this for sometime have had the feature and enjoyed it the way it was. If you wanted to ‘add more challenge’ to the game play, an option to turn the auto-complete feature off could have been added. Or bigger grid sizes could have been developed. Instead you decided for the user if they want to waste time clicking on all the numbers rather than determining the correct ones and be rewarded by the rest clearing. You have lost a loyal player. I found another version that still has this feature and I will be spending my time with their game.
Technical problem is Frustrating. Okay, I love this game but the controls which consist only with a toggle switch have given me trouble from the start. You choose an option to circle keep or delete any number on the board. The problem is , and it happens many times in every game, is that say you choose delete and the game slips it back to keep and vice versa, there are only two choices and it should not be hard to keep you choice in the place you have chosen. I do the math, decide what action I will take and pick the keep/delete option I want but it does not necessarily stick with your choice. I know that I could just say, no big deal, but it is a big deal.
Ads every minute or less. I thought I would download the app because I like a game that makes me use my brain. I am going along and get into it. I even did a picture prize. I accept that when I need help I have to watch an ad. At first I could click out quickly. That doesn’t last for long. Then you are playing and you pick the right box and a pop up appears saying impressive ( or something like that) and guess what another ad. It totally ruins your concentration. You get back to the game a minute before they forced you to watch their ad. I want to waste my time enjoying a game. I don’t want to waste my time watching multiple ads right in a row. I deleted the app. I didn’t want to. But there are games with minimal ads out there and they are making money. Stop being gready. Gamers stop enabling them so that they can make games that work for both of us. Thank you.
Feedback. There is no option for feedback in the app so I’ll do it here and hope developers see it. The new thing with the colored numbered shapes in the grids is awful, and I want a way to turn it off. Let me stick to columns and rows. This new way gives too much information about what numbers work, and it takes the fun away of gradually solving the puzzle. For the record, I have loved this game, and found it relaxing. This change to the game has taken away what I found charming about it. This was a five star game for me. I’ll change it if the option to go back to just columns and rows is put in.
Very enjoyable. Really enjoying this game, I play it almost every day - I did pay $5 because I prefer to avoid ads & can afford to support the developers. 1.) Personally, would LOVE the option to toggle to a dark-mode version for playing in the evening! 2.) Sometimes I’ve been doing the math in my head too long, and think I’m toggled on one setting (erase/circle) when I’m actually on the other, and I then I loose a life. It’d be nice to have the option to tap each time - and maybe for people who like the current gameplay, there could be a way to hold down one (like the eraser), and stay in that mode? Not exactly sure what would make the most sense, but it does happen to me sometimes. Otherwise I’m hooked! Would maybe be nice have the option to select sets of levels to replay or something, but that may just be a sign I need to do something else on the train.
Increasing Ads becoming Unreasonable. This was a 5 star game, but the number of ads went from being reasonable to unbearable — not sure if it was a recent update or if the developers decided that once you get to a certain level that you’d pay for the app if they made it more annoying not to, but I no longer enjoy playing when every few moves I get interrupted by yet another ad. For me it’s having the opposite effect and I’ll probably stop playing. A few minor changes could help with gameplay. Most of my mistakes were accidental. Rather than toggling the delete/select mode it’d be better to have two explicit buttons to select one or the other, where selecting the existing mode is no operation — then I could just click every time rather than having to always look and double check that I’m in the mode that I thought I was and not accidentally change it. I’d also like a mode that lets me make mistakes and then just make me figure out where I made a mistake, if I did. Sometimes reverse engineering your mistake is its own interesting challenge.
Badly supported. The basic game is excellent and challenging. There is good variety of puzzle difficulties and styles. BUT, there were very bad choices made in the design and layout that would be easy to fix, be they aren’t being done. The first is that the choice between marking and clearing a square is a toggle switch w/o the option to make it a select switch. >80% of my errors are due to this clumsy design choice which is super simple to fix. Also, the layout fails to make the visual indication of the mark or clear setting obvious, also super simple to greatly improve. It is so frustrating that the designers are not professional enough to spend the tiny bit of time to implement these simple improvements. More difficult to implement would be to enlarge the sums so they are more readable.
Good game, too many ads. Outside of the ads and one minor issue, this would probably be a 5-star game. It’s a simple concept that ends up being very challenging, but not impossible. It’s a well crafted game. The issues I have: minor issue, my most frequent mistake is clicking on pencil or eraser to circle or erase, respectively, but if the toggle is already on the one I want, it will switch to the one I don’t, causing a “miss”. If, instead, it stayed on the one I tapped, even if it was already on that function, the game operation would be much smoother, and there would be fewer errors. The big issue is the ads - they pop up in the middle of play and interrupt play, and that is really annoying, and will probably be the reason I quit this game. $10 to remove ads is really high, as well. I don’t mind ads at the start or finish of play, but mid game is too much, especially when I’m trying to play something I just spotted, then I’ve lost my place after the ad.
Good but overpriced. The app is fun - keeps you on your toes and exercises your brain. However it’s awfully simple for a $9.99 price tag. I’ve been waiting for a 50% off sale or something but haven’t seen one. I would definitely pay $5 but $10 is egregious IMO. The ads come at the worst time too, which is really annoying and they’re completely inappropriate with trying to sell me [legal] drugs. Now, I’m not a prude, but my 7 year old likes to play this game with me and this has forced premature conversations about controlled substances. I still play and like the game but will lose interest if they don’t offer a sale soon. I just refuse to pay $10 for this. It’s not worth that.
One of the best logic games I’ve ever played!. 2nd Review: I never write second reviews but in this case, it’s warranted! Not only is this game worth every penny and one of the simplest logic games that is wonderfully addicting but the development staff are responsive! KUDOS ALL AROUND! This game is superb and worth purchasing. Really easy to play and it keeps your reasoning functions in good condition. NOTE TO DEVELOPERS: 1. Please fix the WRITE and ERASE buttons. Either turn them into one button which toggles or stop the toggle that is currently enabled. It’s counterintuitive that both buttons toggle and leads to many senseless errors. 2. Please consider altering your scoring to credit two points for completing a puzzle with no lives lost. That will encourage much more careful play by rewarding more complete analysis.
Good, but…. The game is actually really fun, I like logic puzzles like these. And there’s always new challenges each day and sometimes there’s tournaments and little events you can do. So there’s definitely no shortage of content. The ads aren’t even that big of a bother to me, it’s just annoying when I’m partway through a puzzle and I get interrupted. So the ads appearing while you’re in the middle of a puzzle and the lack of a “dark mode” are the only things in my eyes that hold this back from getting a perfect 5 stars.
Cut the red wire, NO THE BLUE ONE!. I like this game, enough so that I splurged on the (not cheap) ad removal. But I want to echo those reviewers who have complained about the toggle switch. I feel like I’m defusing a bomb sometimes with how careful you have to be, double checking to make sure it’s on the right setting before you click. This adds unnecessary pressure to the game. (I’ll let myself get additional lives when my mistake really is because of the toggle switch. But I still haven’t figured out where those lives are coming from or whether there’s a limit to how many one can request.)
Dark Mode Please!. I truly love this app. It’s simple, has a clean interface, and keeps my brain stimulated. I docked one star as I just updated to the latest version and am not a fan of the colored sections. For me, it’s distracting and takes me longer to solve levels because my eyes keep bouncing all over the place. It would be nice to turn this feature off. I tend to use this app the most before bed, and with my eyes being sensitive to light, a dark mode would really be the cherry on top of this app!
It’s $4.99 - stop complaining about ads people!!. This game is fun, and $4.99 is very reasonable compared to a lot of apps that try to rip you off and charge you monthly. I don’t understand people that expect things to be free. With that being said, I’m confused by the “color hints” that pop up because there wasn’t much explanation about how to use them. Can you please explain and maybe add that to your “how to play” instructions? Thanks!
More ads?. First, I love the game. Challenging, addicting, fun. Keeps this retired persons brain functioning. I would give it a 5 star rating BUT the addition of ads during games is unacceptable. I understand that ads are required to make games financially feasible for developers. I’ve not purchased the game so I accept whatever ads the developers choose to display before starting play or between games but interrupting every game multiple times is, as I stated previously, unacceptable. I guess I’ll have to determine my next steps. Continue as is (extremely irritating), delete the game which I hate to do, or pay the purchase price which I have never had to do previously. DUH, guess what, getting more subscribers is obviously the reason for inserting ads in games.
Like others have said..too many ads. I’ll start by saying I DO love this game/ When I started playing the ads weren’t too bad because it was just one after some games and each one allowed you to skip after 5 seconds.. now there’s ads before games, in the middle of games, after games, when you try to start a new game after - and not all of them allow you to skip after 5 seconds like before. It’s just become too much and I rarely find myself playing anymore. Quite a bummer.
don’t fix what ain’t broke. The function that automatically erased incorrect numbers after selecting the correct ones has been removed. Now, players are required to manually erase all incorrect numbers. I find this function to be repetitive for no good reason. With this game, I picked the lesser two poisons. Ads, I understand as they make revenue for the company as annoying and frequent they are. But removing the function of erasing all incorrect numbers AFTER you’ve already selected the correct ones?????? There’s no real reason no matter how they spin it but I put in a ticket inquiring the new development and was told verbatim that, “This change was made to enhance the gameplay experience by encouraging more active and deliberate participation from players, at the same time, making the game more challenging.” I personally don’t find this change enhancing or encouraging but it is what it is????? I’ve reached 950+ levels and to have this new development take place, I find myself not playing Number Sum as much and frustrated enough to write a review at 3:44AM. Out of all things to “fix”, this wasn’t it and a poor decision in my opinion. It feels like whoever OK-ed this change was the kid that goes, “Oh teacher, you forgot to collect homework!! 🤓” right before class ended. The game is great, customer service was amazing, Polina gave me a timely, thorough, and polite reply and I’m not mad, just disappointed.
Great game. I really enjoy this game, it’s very addictive. I could play this game for hours. They make other fun games with similar concepts and the same design. They’re are always tournaments and challenges going on, along with daily challenges too! My only issue with this game is the ridiculous amount of adds. They’re typically only a few seconds but happen every few minutes. I’m seriously considering buying the no adds version. Although the $10 price tag is pretty high for an I phone game.
Definitely Better! Those ads seem to be gone!. I submitted a help ticket informing them of the issue with the spam website popping up every few seconds. They ended up working on making it to where it doesn’t happen. So the customer service is great and so is this game! Just hope those websites stay away. Thank you guys for working on fixing the problem!
Pretty Challenging. Some of the games are harder than others but all can be solved without guessing or hints and each row can ultimately be solved on its own without having to factor in other rows. Odd/even number strategies can be helpful. While I expected there to be ads, it’s sad that there are ads in the middle of a game. The worst part about this is you can get a pop up ad in the middle of solving a row, and you have to quickly remember the move you were about to make before the ad so you can do it when the ad is done. These mid-game ads aren’t long but they do break your concentration, making them especially annoying. Too bad they don’t happen when a row is at least completed.
Fun Game for $5. I really enjoy the game. But the ads were truly unbearable. You would just figure out a row, tap one of the numbers in that row, and it would break for an ad. Completely breaking your concentration. I had one game where there was an ad break almost every time I touched a number. So unless you are willing to pay the $5, don’t even think about downloading it. I thought the game was worth $5, and I’m now enjoying it without ads. Perhaps download it, and play a couple of games, just to see if you want the game or not. The first few games did not have very many ads.
Too many ads. Update: The developer's response is so humble and understanding, it encourages me to be more understanding as well. We need more of this in the world. I can see the ads are how they make their $. And while I personally do wish there were far less ads, I will focus more on the positives and say that the developer really does execute the concept well. It is simple, fun, easy to learn and play, varies in difficulty in a pleasant cycle (does not simply get more and more difficult as you advance in levels), allows you to go back and replay levels, all of it is honestly well-done. Fun game but you can rarely complete a single puzzle without multiple ads popping up as you are erase/circle certain numbers. It's as if ads are attached to specific numbers on the board and when you interact with that number correctly, it triggers an ad. It's gotten so excessive for me that I've lost interest in this particular developer's version of the game. The game itself is a fun concept though and developer executes the game itself well.
Great Game !!. I’m enjoying this game. It is fast becoming my go to game. I almost didn’t download it because so many complained of ads. While I agree there are a lot of ads, I’m here to tell you to not let that deter you from downloading and enjoying this game. For instance, I was intrigued by the “nuts & bolts” games so downloaded several to try. They all have ads. Some as many as 3 ads in a row and absolutely NO way out—you are forced to watch all ads, and those ads last anywhere from 70 seconds to almost 2 minutes. This game is not like that (and I hope the developers of this game never get that desperate (greedy). The ads on this game allow you to close them quickly. I understand developers put in a lot of effort to create a game worth playing and need to make money, so I will put up with ads — to a certain extent. This developer does not go crazy like so many do. Download a “nuts & bolts” game and you’ll quickly appreciate these developers. I like this game so much that I would be willing to pay to be ad free. Heck, I would be willing to actually purchase this game if they asked a fair price. BOTTOM LINE: This game is challenging. It’s fun. It’s addictive. I love it and am so glad I found it. (Ironically, I found it because it was one of the ads on the nuts&bolts game that I deleted). Developers, PLEASE don’t follow the other developers and add more or longer ads. Please consider offering an ad-free option that is truly ad-free.
super addicting! but…. i was immediately hooked on this game and haven’t stopped playing it. there is one drawback that i can’t really look past though, and it’s the APPALLING AMOUNT OF ADS! not only do they appear before and after every level but they actually pop up in the middle of levels! multiple ads! in the middle of playing a level! i actually spent the 5 dollars to remove ads because it was disrupting my addiction. take my stupid money. i hate being interrupted.
Mid-Round Ads are a distraction. Generally enjoy this game. It’s challenging and really makes me think. I also understand that the developers need to pay for their costs and make some money and am resigned to watching ads (since I’m too “frugal” to buy the paid version). However, the random ads in the middle of a round are really annoying. I’ll gladly watch an ad before or after a round. I’ll watch an ad for an extra life. Interrupting me in the middle of a round to watch an ad is a huge distraction. I also don’t find the “toggle” between circle and delete unintuitive. More than once I’ve meant to circle a number and then lost a life because the button was in the wrong position.
Keeping my brain sharp with enjoyment. Not another dead end, boring, match game for sure. This game is enjoyable, challenging (but not to the point of frustration) and definitely a good workout for the brain. My only advice is not to waste a ton of time getting sucked into their tournaments with “unique rewards” which end up being a little picture of some stupid medal or something. Really? Can’t do any better than that? I thought they’d at least pony up on a few free hints!! Won’t make that mistake again. I’ll still play the game but won’t let my competitive side get me involved in another non-rewarding event!
Addicting Number Problems. There are a few of these number addition games available. I chose this one because I have Nonogram apps by the same developer. They have a simple, clean interface. Plus I can pay a cheap $4.99 to remove ads permanently. I’ve seen other games with weekly and monthly fees. I can sit and play this for hours. There are the daily puzzles and there is always special events and tournaments going on.

Night mode. Hi, I want a night mode please.
Great game. Fun, challenging and well designed interface. Commercials mid game are very annoying
Ads. The ads are too many, many are 2+minutes long, content of ads is not scrutinized, a pedophilia ad, ads that are scams/fraud.
Way toooo many add. I know the ads pay for what I am not but when they interrupt my game then it is too much. All my other games play the ads between games. And many of the ads that do play won’t let me close them. The close button just freezes the ad. Not sure how many minutes I have to wait, many minutes is not enough so even if I watch the add, I can’t collect stars since it freezes. Since I have to restart the game anyhow then why even watch the ads. What a nuisance! Otherwise I like the game but no longer worth it for me. Despite what the developer says, not all ads can be exited after 5 seconds. Sometimes the “close” button appears instead of an x. Then it just freezes and it won’t close. Regardless, the ads pop up in the middle of a game and then sometimes locks up when you try to close them. If I have to restart the game then I may as well do so and avoid watching the video all together.
User. Trop de publicité - to many advertisements
The game is okay. I’m sure it would be much better if there weren’t constant interruptions with the most pornographic ads. If this game is supposed to be suitable for ages 12 and up, WHY ARE THERE X-RATED ADS? Absolutely disgusting! You also need to remove the ad for Food Match 3D as it cannot be stopped and your game has to be shut down and restarted to get rid of it.
Ads, ads and more ads. The game itself is very good, but there are so many ads. Plus, many of those are the long ads that are very irritating. Without the long advertisements I’d give it a five. But the ads have me close to deleting the game.
Ads in the middle of the puzzles!. The stupid ads come up mid play and then you lose what you’re doing to watch them. Before and after fine, I’ll watch them. But trying to force me to pay to be ads free because you interrupt my game? Garbage. One move and have to watch an add again. Waste of time .
A fun challenging game. This is a game that I really enjoy. It can be challenging but it is a lot of fun. I would appreciate if the buttons to delete or keep the numbers would be coloured when selected. Red when you select delete and green when you select to keep the number with a circle. Only the selected action has the colour.
Excellent game made near unplayable by ads. This game is incredibly fun and interesting but the amount of ads served is excessive to the point of being extremely disruptive (2 ads every 3-4 minutes of gameplay) Additionally the 20 dollar pricetag to remove the ads is *way* too high. I would pay 12 dollars maximum but I cannot justify 20.
Number Sums. Fun game but ridiculous amount of ads. Takes the fun away
So many ads???. Great game, highly addictive, but 3-4 ads PER GAME ruined it for me; ended up deleting. Also, burns the battery something fierce.
Best feature. For every move you make you win a chance to see an advertisement.
Dark Mode. Love this game. Would love to see a “dark-mode” or “night-mode” setting. I often play before bed with the lights off and the white background is a little harsh, even with my phone brightness all the way down.
Too many ads…. Enjoy the game itself, but having an ad halfway through a level AND at the end is too much. It interrupts the thinking process to have an ad in the middle of the level.
Dr.. Very bad game, too many adds, too many disruptions. Player can not concentrate on the game because of the annoying adds. The game is designed to force you watch adds. Finally, I deleted it.
Trop d’annonce. Les rewards sont des annonces. C’est poche
Awful ads with sound. The ads have sound while playing the game. I saw other reviews that say to turn off the volume but it is already off. Deleted the app immediately.
What’s with all the ads. Game would be good if you weren’t interrupted with ads every few seconds
Fun with lots of ads. This game is so fun, ands challenging! The only issue is the amount of ads that there is. Other than that, amazing!!!
Mid game ads are terrible. The game is fun. But ads in the middle of the game, multiple times, throw off your train of thought. Might delete because of that.
Ads while you’re playing. Ok I understand ads. BUT during game play? This game requires concentration and the ads just interrupt!! I deleted it.
Good game horrible ads. This is a game that is great but completely ruined and overrun by ads on ads on ads on ads. If you don’t mind watching ads and ads and ads dotted with a little game play then you’ll be delighted with this game.
New ads - loud and disruptive. Developer response to my complaint was insufficient. Even when muted, the piano ad comes out loud. That means I have to reduce volume to zero to avoid. I tried to be supportive and click on the ad to see what it is about to no avail. There’s nothing there advertised or trying to sell. Just pure annoyance. Will delete the game
Too many ads. Could be a good game but the ads are unbearable. Multiple ads between games. Have to wait a long time before you can exit. Have to restart a level? AD. Brutal. There can be a good balance of gameplay and ads but these guys missed the mark.
Spoiled time. Like the game. Can live with getting hit by ads between levels but when you interrupt a level to advertise, you get removed. Highly disappointed.
To many Ads. Fun game, deleting do to Ads
Too many adds. Fun game but way too many adds
Critiques constructives. Trop de publicité, Les nombres totalisant les sections de couleurs sont trop petits. Il serait intéressant d’être en mesure de zoomer une section.
annoying ads. I enjoy the game but I would appreciate is better with les ads. They come several times in the middle of the game and it tends to break concentration. 20$ bucks to get rid of them is to much.
Battery killer. Takes a lot of energy from battery but game runs fine
Nice game. I’m at level 110. It’s a nice game to kill time, but the ad system is nonsensical. Leave the app for a sec? Get an ad. Watch an ad for a hint or a life? Get another one one move later. It’s just the timing that doesn’t make much sense. At least the non-reward ads are very short. Overall, it’s a good game, like most easy brain games =)
Fun but so many ads. Although this puzzle game is really fun, the amount of ads is extremely frustrating. Out of all the game apps that I’ve played, this is easily the app with the most ads…!!! It makes this playing this game really annoying. You literally wind up spending more time watching ads than playing the game. Sometimes you get an ad after picking just one number! I don’t understand how apps developers expect you to keep using the app with this amount of ads. I have since deleted the game as it is unbearable. Would have rated the actual game 4 stars but the app itself with the amount of ads gets 1 star.
Ads in middle of game…..unacceptable. It’s a shame because its an awesome game that makes you think.
Too many ads. It’s actually a great game, but getting interrupted with multiple ads during each round gets really annoying. Should only have ads between rounds.
Great game!. It’s a great game, however sometimes the ads in the middle of the game do not load, there’s simply a blank black or white page and it will not play the ad and you cannot get back to the game. Therefore you must exit the game (restart the app) and start over. If anyone knows any way around this, let me know!
Love it !. Challenging logic game, I love it. It would be fun if the game did not tell when we do error. Would be even more challenging
Too many ads. Right in the middle of a level !!!??? The worst
Ads. Way to many ads to enjoy the game.
Way too many ads. I like this game but there are ads every five seconds. I understand watching an ad to get back a life to continue playing. But ads every time you select a number? It’s ridiculous and interrupts game play to the point that I will be deleting this game and looking for a better one. Every review says the same thing and the developer “takes their feedback into account and will work towards better gameplay” A year later and it’s still the same 🙄
Trop de publicité. Les publicités entre les parties je peux accepter. Mais entre deux coups… c’est vraiment agressant.
Too Many Ads. Was enjoying this game but suddenly play is constantly interrupted by ads mid-game. I see this issue noted in one year-old reviews with responses saying they’re working on it. Guess they’re not. Time to move on.
Ad hell. Unless you are prepared to pay $12.99 to remove ads, you have to endure 2 minute ads during a game and ad interruptions during a game to break your concentration. Disgusting. Pay or find another game! Now they have added annoying pop up music !
Too many ads. This game is all about ads. It displays them everywhere. Even when you get something correct. Too many ads makes this game too frustrating to play.
Adds interrupting the game. I love this game, but I can’t stand having so many adds that the game is interrupted midway without any prompt. Imagine doing math in your head and when you are about to select the right answer, you get an add… I understand that the creators need to make money so I have never complained about the adds until now. It is too much. Let me know when this is fixed so I can actually play the game.
Publicité. Le jeu est intéressant, mais les publicités vraiment trop nombreuses et difficiles à fermer.
Mostly ads!. I have never seen so many ads in a game! Every 2-3 moves (yes, moves, not games), an ad pops up suddenly, interrupting the game and player’s concentration. Beyond annoying. Deleting. Lots of other good game choices out there.
Fun game, too many ads. As the game goes on, ads begin to dominate the time. At least wait until a row or section is complete before interrupting the game play
I NEVER buy games, but I bought this one. I knew within a couple of levels that this would be a Game worth buying. My only request is that you make the game more accessible to low vision players. Perhaps by adding pinch and zoom so that the small numbers can be seen. Right now, I take a screenshot of the level and zoom that up. But it’s a bit awkward. Otherwise, great game.
Inappropriate ads. Great game but an ad for a book comes up that are so inappropriate. Talked about being better than Fifty Shades of Grey, explicit, and I’m no prude but my grandson was watching me play and saw the “f-ing” language. Get your bots to do a better job.
Adsterra is the most preferred ad network for those looking for an alternative to AdSense. Adsterra is the ideal choice for new sites with low daily traffic. In order to advertise on the site in Adsterra, like other ad networks, a certain traffic limit, domain age, etc. is required. There are no strict rules. Sign up!
Great game, I have one issue though. I absolutely love this game! I play it every night and whenever I get bored and don’t feel like doomscrolling. The ads are a bit much but I can overlook that, there’s just ONE thing, no dark mode! I like to play this before I go to sleep, and it just blinds me so much. Please please!! add a dark mode, other than that it’s great!
Great game riddled with endless ads. Very fun and engaging game. Low stars due to the endless amount of ads. I have to sit through 3 different segments of the same ad so I can finally skip all 3 of them? Absolutely ridiculous. After lvl 47 my brain was rotted with all the ads. I finished a level, an ad and skipped it, cool. Press the next level button, another ad, wait 5 seconds, skip, need to wait another 5 seconds to finally skip that ad and start the level. Ridiculous and unnecessary, if the game wasn't like this definitely this would be my day to day game.
Way too many ads. This is a challenging game. I really enjoy playing it. But there are way way too many ads. An ad will pop up when I finish a game and then immediately after I view my position in the tournament, I get another ad! Right away! Also, I don’t mind paying to remove ads. I’ve done it for a number of other games. But this game charges $9.99 which I refuse to pay. It might make me delete the game out of frustration.
Ads in all the wrong places. I’ve been playing this game for a couple of days now and I really like it. It is quite challenging! My only complaint at this point is the placement of ads. I don’t mind the adds, but when I am in middle of a thought and I erase or circle a number and an ad interrupts me, it is difficult to get back to what I was thinking. DEVELOPERS: put as many ads as you want between games but quit interrupting my thought process in middle of a game!
Great game but UI needs work. This is a great brain game. Simple yet extremely engaging and stimulating. The contests are fun to compete in as well. However, having played nearly 400 games, the are some issues that really need attention. First, the keep/remove button is a toggle. This is very confusing and has caused many lost hearts. I think there should be two buttons instead of a toggle, so when you want to do one or the other, hit that button (even if already active) and select number. The toggle interrupts my concentration. This is a major UI issue for me and I end up cursing at it at least every other game. Next, no dark mode. Bad dog, developer. Last, orientation is fixed and does not rotate. Again, bad dog, developer.
Ads Infinitum during play… from 5 to 1 stars. Ads between rounds is acceptable - even if I have to wait for 3, 4, or 5 between rounds I can tolerate (on mute while I freshen my tea), but multiple ads during game play is inexcusable. In the midst of toggling between circling or erasure, as I’m selecting numbers in the row or column to erase or circle, I am FORCED to watch an ad! My senior brain loses its train of thought and I have to figure out what I was in the midst of doing. It’s not just once per level… it’s constant. This is a good mind exercise but too many ads during play… not for me. Time to delete the app.
Good math challenge!. Enjoying this different kind of challenge! Reason of 3 star is the surrounding white background too much glare! Perhaps darkened that will ease my eye strain. Once that’s done, I will increase starsi and remove ads. Also another idea is to provide the thin outline for the grouped color. It’s a bit hard to see closely matched color that sits right next to each other. That will be handy!
It’s fun, but…. Have you ever notice how, say the first 20 levels, there are few, if any, ads? Then slowly, you start getting adds, with the frequency of them is more often. I am in to level 570, that’s how muck fun it is. But the ads come during the game about every 6th move. Disrupting my chain of thought. So, I will probable shell out the $10 version to avoid the ads
Ad algorithm changed. I just downloaded this game yesterday and I am enjoying the game a lot, however, yesterday ads only popped up for lives, hints, and between games. Today they started popping up randomly while playing. There’s a graphic that says ‘nice job’ and it throws me into an ad. It’s a complete interruption to concentration and calculating sums. I understand ads for play advantages but just random makes no sense at all and for that I will be deleting the app.
Paid to remove ads. Don’t!!. I loved this game! But the ads were unbearable. One or two between each level and then two or three interrupting each game. At least they were short. But still annoying. So I paid the $5 to remove the ads. And it ruined the game. Now I have unlimited hints and unlimited hearts. The challenge is completely gone. 😩 Developers: please make it so you can earn hints (maybe get one hint for each level you win) and not have unlimited. And the same with the hearts. Maybe if you run out of hearts, you spend a hint point to get another one. But don’t make it unlimited. It’s just not as fun now. ☹️
Too many ads. Most one star reviews complain about the frequency of ads in the middle of a game. Developer’s responses say they are working on the frequency of the ads. Doesn’t look like they mean they are reducing it though. I’m finding another of the developer’s apps (Nonogram) also has started sticking ads into the middle of each game. Breaks your concentration. Too bad - I enjoy the game, but not the constant and random interruptions. Time to delete. And I will stay away from EasyBrain until they make a serious effort to reduce the number of ads.
Too many ads. I rarely write reviews and I typically have no issues with ads, but this app has gone overboard. An ad to start a game, another ad when the game ends..click “new game” and another ad to start the next game. Now to add to the ad nonsense…when you make a correct, educated guess up pops an emoji with “good job”, “way to go”, or “congratulations”….and your reward for making a correct selection...another ad! How stupid…you get penalized for making a correct selection.
Love the game, but…. I love this game, but the ads literally get it the way. I understand the need for ads, and I have no problem watching them. I DO have a problem when the ads pop up in the middle of the game, causing me to lose my train of thought. I’ve been so irritated, I’ve come close to deleting the blasted thing. I may be looking for a similar game that doesn’t have the ad interruptions.
Not a fan of update. I have been playing this game almost everyday for months and even paid to get rid of ads. This last update added the colored regions that have to add up to certain numbers. While I enjoy having an extra challenge here and there, I wish you could decided to play that version or just the original that only had sums for the rows and columns. Now I only play the daily challenge but will probably discontinue that soon. Super disappointed.
Great game, why all the data???. UPDATE: Upgrading to 4 stars. Even though no resolution yet, customer service at least exists and is surprisingly responsive. You can start a trouble ticket and track it inside the app under settings->help. Unheard of!!! ———————- This is a FANTASTIC puzzle game. 5 stars! Except I am trying to clean out my phone and notice that it’s using 3 GB of documents & data!! Why???? Dev any thoughts???
Great game. I love this game because you can use your brain to think and it is good education for young children probably in second or third grade and up. Fun way to get your child’s mind thinking during the summer instead of having them watching videos on YouTube.👍I would definitely recommend this game to other people. 😄
Corporate greed. I love this game and I’ve been a big fan of this app since just after it released. It had ads between games which is fine, I can deal with, but now they’ve started advertising in the middle of a game. You can’t wait two more minutes for me to finish this puzzle before you shove ads down my throat? This is what’s turned me off of many games in the past and I’m sad to say that my engagement with this app will probably massively decline because of this.
Ads Make Game Unplayable. The game is really fun but they’ve constantly increased the number of ads and it’s now completely unplayable. The ads now interrupt you at random in the middle of the game and there’s about 1 per minute. It’s way too much. I probably would have purchased the ad free because I was enjoying it enough before and the ads were annoying but not unreasonable, but now it feels like a scam - like the game is really only playable if you buy the ad-free. It should really just be listed as $5 in the store, not ad free. If they fix the ad issue I’ll update my rating.
Issues?. I just downloaded this game, completed level 1 but there’s no button to move to level 2? I finished the level expecting it to automatically take me to the next one but nothing happens. Tried it with the daily puzzle too… did the same thing. Restarted the app and restarted my phone and it did not help. The game is useless if I can only play one level. Uninstalling unless the developer has suggestions.
Ad free version fantastic. I was about ready to delete this because the ads in the middle of a game were very disruptive even though they were very short ads. I thought I would read reviews and discovered there is an ad free version for only $5.00 as a one time charge. Now I love this game. It has become my go to game. Thanks guys.
Too many ads mid-game. One expects ads at the beginning or end of a game but in the middle of one is too much. The game itself is a nice combination of logic and math as well as concentration as you have to remember if you are erasing or choosing a number. Except for the mid-game ads it is fun and challenging. Update. Deleted the game today. Four ads to play the daily challenge. Two before I could start, one mid-game and one after. All ads required multiple screen touches to dismiss. Developer is too greedy to support
Interruptive Ads. For a free game, I expect obnoxious ads. I even expect them after every level. But this game regularly interrupts a level with an ad. Sometime three in one level. Beside being extremely annoying, it also breaks the mental and logical flow of the game, essentially forcing me to reset my brain. This is a shame because the game itself is fun and straddles the line between mindlessly easy and frustratingly hard. Getting rid of the midlevel ads would make this a 5 star game.
This game makes you think. You have to use logic and math to clear the board. It oddly reminds me of sudoku but with math! My only suggestion to make the game smoother would be to add an option to settings to toggle on or off to auto complete a row once the total is circled or when the remaining numbers add up to the total. It would speed up my times and make it more fun for me!
Favorite Game. I’ve been so obsessed with this game as well as Nonogram for months now. No one likes to pay money to get rid of Ads - however, if you play it constantly, it’s definitely worth it. The only suggestion I have is enabling a Dark Mode and then it would be perfect!
"Sticky" ads. I love this game, but I hate how often that some of its ads never want to go away. I click on the "X" repeatedly to close the ad but nothing happens and it stays. And stays. I’ve seen the message, I’m saying I don’t want the advertised game, but it still will keep me from the game I’m playing for what seems like forever. I’m hardly likely to download a game that makes me that mad while I’m trying to return to the one I’m playing.
Meh…. I very well maybe the only to struggle with this, but I don’t like the circle and erase options. I wish that they were separated or maybe different colors when one or the other is selected. I lose more lives swearing that I selected the circle option and the erase option is actually selected or vice versa. Maybe the background turns red when erase is selected and the background turns green when the circle option is selected. Just a suggestion 🤷🏾♂️
Color in recent update. The game now adds another dimension by grouping cells by color with a sum for each group. I wish this could be enabled or disabled in settings: it’s not a bad option, but the very small numbers are hard to read on my phone.
Great, then disappointed. I loved this game. Honestly, I had to slow myself down. But, now, I’m doing daily games and I am CONSTANTLY bombarded with ads. Why are you interrupting me after hitting every 3 numbers? Why am I forced to watch and get another life then press a number and be forced to watch again? More often than not, I just put it away and DON’T play it until I can tolerate the ads again. So get the game. I guess you can see how tolerant you are. I think I’m in the medium range. To the developers, just stop.
Mid-game ads are disruptive. Most other games have ads, sometimes multiple ads, between games. This game, as much as I love playing it, has become tedious due to ads breaking in multiple times during the course of a single game. This disrupts the train of thought and concentration needed to play. I’m giving up and will stop playing. There are plenty of other games to play.
Garbage. These puzzles are horribly constructed. Almost every one ends up with four of the same number in a box with two in the same row and two in the same column. So it's impossible to tell which combination is the right one because either solves the puzzle. It's just random chance. And if you guess incorrectly you're forced to watch another stupid video or start from the beginning. Just a big ad watching scam. I also really hate when developers respond and lie about their games. Just affirms my view that everything about this is garbage.
Fun but lots of interruptions. It’s a really fun game that gets progressively more difficult, then gives you a rest with an easier level every now and then. The ads, though! They interrupt you right in the middle of a move. If they would just wait until you complete a row, it would feel a lot less like they’re interrupting your thought process on purpose in order to cause mistakes, which causes you to watch more ads.
Way too many ads. You’re forced to watch at least two ads per level, in the middle of the game, and then another ad when you finish the level. Response: you aren’t working on reducing ads, you’ve had the same reply for months without change. You don’t care and would rather get a few more ad views from some people than keep thousands more with no ads mid level. I deleted the game already because I know you guys won’t do anything but increase ad frequency moving forward.
Please fix the ads. This app was my go to every morning and was my favorite but now it’s very annoying. I didn’t mind having to watch one ad when I needed a hint or more lives but since the update the other day I have to watch 2-3 ads to get one hint or one life. That’s a bit much. Please fix because I really don’t want to give up on this game!! I will go to 5 stars if it gets fixed!!
Not enough lives. It’s all right at first. It’s really fun, but then it gets really old fast because you don’t have enough lives. You only have two lives, and every time you make a mistake after that, you have to watch an ad. So it drags on and on. I don’t have time for that. I just want to play the game so I got really annoyed and uninstalled it. It’s really a shame because it has potential, but you need to watch too many ads and loses its element very quickly.
No dark mode. This game is addicting. I just wish it came in dark mode or even a different color background the bright white hurts my eyes and I have to quit playing sooner than I’d like most days because of the glare from the screen. It is also very hard to read the running tally in the upper corner due to font choice. Many numbers look similar.
Game broke. I was having fun playing the game until it supported working today. Every time I tried opening the app it automatically closed itself and deleted off my opened apps section, so I restarted my phone the game would open but it’d immediately crash, finally I deleted the app and reinstalled it only to get the same results. I wish I could’ve played this game more, I did genuinely enjoy have to remember and add everything together. I would’ve put more stars but the game was on my phone for two days before completely breaking
Kinda fun brought down by ads. It’s the typical mobile game that throws ads in your face every chance. Click on a level Ad. Go to next level Ad. Retry Ad. Game is fun. I wish you didn’t have to erase unused numbers if you have all the right ones. Game is so ridged that you can have all the right numbers circles but can’t move on till the unused are erased. Game also doesn’t give you a chance to make a mistake and work your way out of it. It only always the correct numbers to be circled or erased.
Option to turn off lives. Wish this game had the option to turn off lives like the developers’ other games have. I mis-click and lose lives all the time and it drives me nuts having to watch a bunch of ads to recover the level or just start over entirely. Would love to play this game way more, but i find it very tedious having so few lives per level so i end up not playing much.
Missing the Colors!. My friend showed me this game and it was somehow colorful on her phone.. I was super excited to get it because it looked cute with the multicolored squares and I was so sad to see they weren't in my app :( if this is an update, I wish there was an option to have the multicolored blocks because that was such a fun little feature. Such a fun game but miss the more visually stimulating appearance.
Ad intrusiveness untenable. I know ads are needed to keep games free but where the ads pop up is important to the playability of a game. They can pop up before or after a round or when you request a hint or some other item. But for a logic puzzle it is illogical to have them pop up in the middle of a game. It breaks your train of thought. If you had a series of moves in mind, you forget what they are. It does introduce a new thought: “it’s time to delete this app”. So that was my next move. Done and gone!
Ads subtract. This is a fun numbers game, and I like most of the design, but having ads in the middle of a game really detracts from the game. I expect ads between games, but when you are in the middle of figuring out a row, or column, and an ad interrupts, it really disturbs the flow. Four to five ads per game plus any of you accidentally use the wrong button, which is fine, makes the game too tedious for me. I now only play this app when I am really bored and can put up with the ads
Lots of ads…ad removal price went up. So I was looking at other reviews, and it seems the ad-removal went from 4.99 to 9.99 … I really like the game so I have almost paid that a few times. However, it does not say that there will be no ads when you want an additional life or maybe a hint. If I found out that the 9.99 means truly no ads whatsoever, then this game would be worth it and so much more enjoyable!
Love this game. I downloaded this game from an ad in another game and I am so happy I did. I played the ad version for a couple of days and decided this was the perfect game for me so I paid to have ads removed. The rounds can be challenging and sometimes I have to guess for a certain number, but most are achievable with some brain power. This is my daily go to game!
Uninstalling. I was excited to try , but ads in the middle of the game is a deal breaker. Also, I would prefer to be able to choose numbers and erase numbers THEN choose “submit” or something when I’ve worked through the level. As it is if I bump a number or am trying to work through it it just ends the level. Even Sudoku gives you a notes option or the ability to make changes until you have things the way you want them. I had high hopes and was excited to try but instead I just ended up frustrated with basic functionality.
Change the toggle please. Nice game but biggest annoying problem is the buttons for erase and select is a toggle. So many mistakes are made because I re-press the same button to confirm my last selection and it toggles to the opposite. Player has to always look at it first before using it or select the number. Please change it so it shouldn’t change to the other button when you press it.
Lives. Honestly this game is great, it makes my brain think and it keeps me busy despite the adds. But one thing i have most disliked about this game is the fact we only have two lives and there is no way to turn it off! Honestly this is why i haven’t played the game much and it’s making me want to delete the game. If this was fixed or had an update to where i cant take the lives away i would be playing 24/7.
Would you like a game to play between ads?. The game itself is entertaining if you enjoy basic logic and mathematics. But until you are ready to purchase the game, expect you will spend at least as much time getting through ads as actually playing. There are ads when completing a puzzle, starting a new puzzle, and at intervals while solving a puzzle. It is worth taking a peak, but not something to continue without buying.
Some things I’d like. The ability to make a tentative selection like the Sudoku game. Does the remove ads option remove all ads? I’ve seen games from other companies that removes only some ads. I’d like this for my grandkids but would want to make it as ad free as possible. Added a star to the rating. I haven’t seen any ads since I purchased the app! There are still features I’d like to see added but removing the ads is a very good step!
Enjoy but sometimes hard to see the numbers. The “first try challenge” game is a nice alternative to the regular game, but I often have a hard time reading the small numbers in this game. These numbers are the ones within the game (outlined in white) that indicate the max summed number per colored area. Maybe something that allows the user to click on the square similar to a “what are you” option? Otherwise, the game is flawless!
Fun game but. This is by far my favorite math game. I have the same complaint as others. Too many adds. I was shocked when I went to remove ads to see you want $9.99 to remove ads. Other reviews from a few months ago were for $4.99. You have a great game but since I spend twice as much time watching ads as I do playing, I will let it go, especially since you, basically, doubled the cost of removing ads.
