More stories?. I loved this game and played it out with no problems. However, I only saw two stories and none left. Maybe I didn’t do something correctly but maybe some more stories would be nice. Overall loved this game. 9/10 would be better if it was longer.

Good idea bad execution. I got through the first interview and was about to interview my second suspect when i had to turn it off for a second to charge my phone. Just got comfortable and ready to play again and the game wont let me continue anymore, the option to interrogate the second suspect disappeared and now there are no options to talk with anyone, its almost a sif its waiting for me to continue the story by interviewing this suspect but i cant cause hes completely gone from suspects available to interview

Loved it, until I didn’t.. This game seemed so fun. I was hooked from the beginning and was drug down a rabbit hole. I had no issues in the beginning, but as I got TOWARDS THE END. It would log me out and make me start over. I’d have to play the last episode over and over again just for it to log me out right before I could get anywhere new. It never saved my progress. It’s so annoying. It would be a great game if it actually worked.

Good experience becoming an investigator!. This is a fun way to experience a detective story because the game does a good job of making you feel like the detective! I enjoyed it very much and the only issues I had were; -Game runs well but cloud saves dont work so make sure you have ample time to play through an entire episode without stopping and disable cloud save to avoid annoying popup errors. Episodes run for about 30 to 40 minutes. -Accessibility for deaf and HOH is very good, but a couple inconsequential videos did not have captions near the end of “Unmasked” -Your choices dont matter for the most part, making this more of a visual novel instead of an actual game. There is one critical choice in each story that will lead to an alternate ending. The critical choice is fairly easy to spot since all the other choices are clearly minor variations of the same response whereas the critical one will have widely different responses. -My detective acts unprofessional sometimes particularly during the interactions with the kids in the chat room in the first story which broke immersion for me a bit. I do hope Scriptic will add more stories in the future!

Don’t download. I downloaded the game they going to be something fun to play got through the first episode no problem once I got into the second episode is starting to make me wait 2-5 hoursFour different things to be finished I left the app because I’m not gonna spend five hours on a nap waiting for something to be done if I can’t do anything on it when I came back to the app I had to restart the episode which means I had to restart that 2 to 5 hour waiting periodVery crappy game not worth your time. If the bugs are fixed it might be worth playing and I’d be willing to play it again but not until I knew the bugs are fixed and it was worth actually putting my time into

Great storytelling & well produced!. I downloaded this game from Netflix and am so glad I did! Both stories, Dead Man’s Phone and Unmasked were SO well made and had great production value and storytelling. The real actors and images completely drew me in, and found the endings of both to be quite a surprise. There are multiple endings depending on your decisions made, and I found myself wanting to go back and play for different outcomes. The dialogue was a little cheesy at times, but overall really enjoyed these games! I will say I went and downloaded the regular Scriptic app to see if they had more games, but the two there (Dispatcher & Dark Mode) were MUCH shorter, anthology-type formats, so not quite the same enjoyment. I feel like Dark Mode has potential to be made into longer story formats and could be fun. Hoping the app continues to release more stories at the higher level of production and game length!

Captions.. Hello I’d like to say I’m new to the game and I absolutely love it. But I am hard of hearing somewhat and constantly use subtitles. Is there a way the game can be updated with captions or subtitles? Like when calls happen or when reviewing audio or videos from the victims phone. That’s the hardest for me is trying to hear everything they say in videos or audio. This would be a great thing for people who can’t always hear or in loud environments.

Bugs are annoying. I have Netflix, and I downloaded this game. Unfortunately I can’t make it past episode one. While playing, I get to the integration room, then the game blacks out asking me to sign in. I sign in and can’t continue where I left off. I can’t do anything it doesn’t even allow me to move on to episode two. It seems like a great game and I would love to play it. But I’m not going to waste my time restarting the game and doing this all over again.

Bug makes it unplayable. First I want to say congratulations since the story and acting is amazing. The only reason I am not giving 5 stars is that when I was just about to finish a story, the in-game chats/conversations now appear blank with no option to speak to the characters and no way to continue the story. This is very disappointing and frustrating.

fire. i never write reviews for games, but i seriously have never been so interested and impressed by the production of a game as i have this one. i love me some ad free games and this game gave constant action and i finished the Redman story in 6 hours (which is great because i was occupied for 6 hours!). i genuinely recommend, i’ve already told my friends bout this game😹

You’ll Get Over the Bugs. The other reviews say it themselves- this game has some bugs. Overall though, this is an amazing interactive crime investigation game. The stories are intriguing and have plot twists left and right. Each story can take you a day if you’re like me and binge it, or up to a few weeks of fun and investment. The only thing I’ll say it there’s not much variety in the outcome besides one decision towards the end, but throughout the story you’ll feel like you messed up the investigation while it’s just the story. Hoping for more stories soon!!

Used for about 3 hours.. deleting. So sorry to those who put time into developing this, but until the bugs are fixed don’t waste your time. Spent three hours enjoying this game, one “unable to save your game” pop-up and my progress is lost. Tried to catch back up, but my messages are missing and I can’t do anything being unable to see messages and start a convo. Love the idea. Will download when it’s fixed

Great Game. It’s a really great game. I love the storytelling and it has enough twists and turns to keep me interested. Currently there are two stories. I like playing an episode of one and then the other. Unfortunately, by doing this I was spoiled on the ending of one story, as the culprit responsible showed up in the other story as a trending news article on “Chirper”. Kind of a let down, I think they could have left that out as it had nothing to do with the other story. I’ll still finish both.

Extremely buggy app. I’ve worked in software development for over a decade and this is one of the buggiest apps I’ve ever used. Syncing locally or to the cloud often fails causing me to have to redo lengthy investigations- interrogations, conversations for discovery, etc. In addition to having restart episode tasks due to bugs, the story lines are flawed. In the Jerome Jacobs case, they refer to his Aunt when notifying next of kin but then say “she identified the victim as her son Bradley.” Just too many flaws with this app and storyline to find it enjoyable.

Amazing!. I haven’t been able to put my phone down for hours! Really immersive, great storytelling. I wish there were an option to speed things up a tad, especially since I had to replay one episode. Some of the time it takes to play through receiving some “messages” gets a little long but it’s more than worth it! Thanks Netflix for a really entertaining game for free.

Well thought out stories, but bad auto-saving on progress. Has stories that keep you on your toes. However, I have been getting notifications that my progress couldn’t be saved and afterwards it would say it was resolved. Then when I have gotten up to episode 5 in chapter 1, after a while it has only saved up to episode 3.

Great Stories, Glitchy App. I’m finding this game to be really engaging so far! However, there are glitches every once in a while, and I just encountered the same impassable glitch as another user. In episode 2 of the second case, I can’t get past the part where Sophie asks for more time in contacting someone at AllMyFans. I’ll be super disappointed if I can’t keep playing the game, so I hope the developers can work on this glitch.

Good but obnoxious. The game is fun but the chat sequences are stupidly long. Like one word a line, what could be 5 back and forth paragraphs are written out as individual lines and take 15mins to load a conversation. The chapters are 60mins long and probably 45mins of that is conversations loading. Would be 1000x better if you could load the conversation all at once and just read through on your own.

Fun but the bugs are irritating. The game has a lot of potential and it’s actually entertaining but the bugs ruin the experience and make it annoying to play. Spent hours playing and it didn’t save ANY of the progress I made. I was going to attempt to catch up back to where I left off but I just don’t have the energy to go through the same conversations in the game. Might download the game again if the bugs get fixed but for now it’s a 👎🏼 from me

It didn’t work for me. So, I downloaded this game literally just two days ago. And at first, I loved it. It was really fun and interactive. There was a lot of attention to detail and it felt very real. However, when I went on the next day, it had logged me out of my account. And after I logged back in, it wasn’t working. My progress had been saved but I couldn’t do anything. Nothing was working. So I decided to restart since I was only on Episode 2. But then, about 30 minutes into replaying it, it randomly logged me out AGAIN. And when I signed back in, NOTHING WORKED! I tried somethings and it would just reset me back to the beginning. This app has so much potential and I would’ve played it for hours, if it only worked.

Crustal Song. First off, I just want to say how much I am enjoying this game at the moment! Very interactive and it really makes me feel like I am the detective! Also, in the Vibez app, there is a song called Turth Hurts by Cristale, that beat is cold, her flow is smooth, and I would just really love to know where I could get this song?!

Nice game, has a little bugs but otherwise great. Downloaded this while i was searching through netflix games, because i have Stranger Things the game downloaded and completed it! BOTH games are amazing, seems like netflix knows what it’s doing with graphics and storylines. The only disappointing things about this app are: 1. There’s only two stories. (Each has about 5-6 episodes). One is about “AllMyFans”- copy of “OnlyFans” so this does include sexual material, and can be uncomfortable to watch. The other one is the 1st story you will read. It’s about a boy being thrown off a tower, includes gangs and threats, so the trigger warnings are needed as i’ve seen. The bug i have seen is the auto cloud save, hasn’t saved for me and i’ve had to skip parts of episodes due too it. Best thing i can say is press the option that says “not save”. It saves anyways.

THIS GAME IS A HITTER. I could stop playing this game. It took a matter of two weeks to finish two seasons please, I am begging you please come out with more seasons I am addicted. I never thought I would be into crimes and things of that nature. I even started reading the script out loud in a London accent that’s how involved I was with it. This game gets a five star from me and that usually never happens. Please come out with more episodes. PLEASEEE 😩😭

Pretty good!. I played the first part of this game in it’s entirety, in one sitting. I won’t be playing the second part, because NSFW themes make me uncomfortable. At first, I’ll be honest- I hated it. It seemed like a half-baked Simulacra rip-off. But now that I’ve played it, while I still believe that’s a little true, I think the story was original enough to make up for it! The UI could be better, and there are certain plot points that could’ve been better written, but the videography and voice acting was amazing. I liked it!

Would be fun…but. This is a great and unique concept for a game and so fun- if it was actually playable… the cloud save and local save pop up way too frequently for me to still lose a huge chunk of progress and have to restart the slow and agitating interviews and conversations… and why does clicking the cloud save restart the app and break the icons so they’re un-clickable and break messages? I also lost 2 entire interviews somehow, and I don’t even wanna play this game anymore because it’s so horribly buggy… it’s not even worth it to go back and restart, and why do my text message boxes just disappear entirely? Such a great unique concept for a game, but takes up so much storage for the little intervals of gameplay I have before a save message comes up, the app crashes, or breaks and won’t fix even if I force stop the app.. I even freed up storage thinking it was my phone, just to come write this review and find many other people have the same problem.

Everyone should play this game. It shows the realities of being in this world. The choices are in your hands. Where we falter as human beings as a whole, how we can be better, and how the choices we make can effect everything around us. Gameplay is fluid and you easily move through this game like you are watching a movie. Kudos to the developers for being able to evoke such emotions from me from one end of the spectrum to the other. Never played anything like this ❤️

Bad Port; Can’t Get Past Tutorial. This is shoddy quality; the game is old so I can’t really complain about the experience (scrolling is AWFUL), but the part that blows my mind is that there are UI bugs that prevent you from moving forward. Like… in the tutorial. I literally cannot move past the second screen because of a white bar in the top quarter of my view. Better luck next time, Netflix. Invest just a little more in quality if you actually want to make games an asset for your company.

Doesn’t save progress. The game itself is fun, not very glitchy, and overall is a very cool concept. My issues with this game start with how it doesn’t save your progress—not entirely. It will save up to a certain point. It will ask you if you want to do a local save or a cloud save- and the next time you log in if you choose the same option, it will start you back a ridiculous amount of episodes back. So you’ve essentially lost hours of progress. Again, the game is fun, but if I could start at my actual last save it would be a whole lot better.

Entertaining, but…. This game is enjoyable but the save process doesn’t exist - I got to the end of the Redman after binging this morning and then charged my phone for a few hours and lost all progress. C’mon Netflix - If I were a large web based platform that launched a new all-encompassing streaming service during the pooper bowl, I’d make sure I had one area I already launched buttoned-up.

Such a great app. Def one of the best games/ apps I’ve ever downloaded. Definitely play with a friend/partner. Only thing I would change is you’re not sure when to start the next episode and when you’re done with the current one. You just run out of options to do and things to play so you have no option but start next episode. Makes me question if I’m stuck or if I need to play next.

Great concept, poor execution. This is conceptually a great idea but too many flaws in execution to really make it enjoyable such as: 1. As mentioned by other reviewers, the progress save system is buggy and I’ve lost progress on very lengthy conversations that are not pleasant to re-live, a time waster. 2. Some conversations seemingly go on forever with no choices for the player along the way. At times I feel like I’m just reading a book, not playing a game. 3. Sometimes even the supposed choices just feel like the game is funneling me. At one point I basically had to reveal discretionary information to people when I knew it was a bad idea, but the game wouldn’t let me move forward without doing it. So I did it and sure enough it came back to bite me later. 4. The first storyline is frankly a bit cliche’d at this point with all the usual racism tropes playing out.

Definitely Recommend Playing!. There’s some bugs here and there but other than that this game is super fun and addicting! I need more stories to play, but other than that it was great, especially the fact that you can skip the wait times for free.

Great Story + Innovative. Unique gameplay. First story is great. Some may not like it because they dont like facing what really happens in the world. Ill play the next later. I played on my ipad and had zero glitches. Not sure what tech people with glitches are playing on. Or if they are paid to give bad reviews. The stories is not for everyone. And the first one is UK based so some things might be hard to follow for Americans who are not familiar with anything outside of the USA. Easy interface. Good twists. Nothing too outlandish. Easy to follow. Great writing. Nice one.

The App Crashes Constantly. The game itself is amazing! Super interactive, fun, and well-made. Would have given this app 5 stars but the app constantly logs you out of Netflix and crashes. Then you either have to start over or you can’t do anything in the game, it’s just blank. It’s soo annoying. Listen to the other reviews. I thought it wouldn’t happen to me on my new phone and with the app having been updated recently - 2 months ago, but no. It still crashes!

By far the best.. This game made me cry bro. That doesnt happen. I actually felt compassion and true emotions towards these characters. Sure there are bugs, but bugs can be fixed. The story line overcomes all the little issues the game has. Props to the creators, they have done an outstanding job.

I love this game. I saw the reviews talking about the glitches and I hadn’t experienced one yet until now. It’s an awesome game overall. First of all we love no ads. The only issue I have is on ep 3 for the first story the snapapp isn’t working so therefore I can’t go any further into the story bc I need to access the app in order to continue with the investigation. If you guys could please fix the issue I would love to get back to playing.

Great game - so many bugs!. This game is amazing. I could and would play it for hours. However there are so many glitches and bugs! If you exit out of the app, you lose any progress you’ve made. There were several times I had to restart episodes after already finishing them. Also, there were several times the chat feature would freeze with no options to continue the story even though there were no clues left to find in the victims phone - so I was stuck waiting for the app to unfreeze so I could keep playing. This game is so intricate and I love it. I hope they fix these issues and add more episodes.

Great game but it froze when I closed the game. I’ve been playing the first story and on the 6th chapter during one of the call scenes I closed the game and when I went back to play the game a little while later it wouldn’t continue. It opened back right before where the call is supposed to happen, but the call doesn’t happen and it won’t let me do anything.

Buggy. This game would be fabulous if I wasn’t so buggy. The app constantly crashes/logs you out mid episode. If you try to get back into the episode, it will either restart the episode or will open up to the main screen with everything completely blank (nothing in your chat messages, interrogation rooms, etc) so that you cannot proceed with where you were. Extremely frustrating and there seems to be no help option built into the app. Wish this game was actually playable because it’s a great concept :/

I should’ve been a detective!. This game is so fun and addictive, it definitely challenges you to pick the correct path in order to get the best outcome. There are some glitches in both seasons but they were mildly annoying, not a dealbreaker. I really hope they come out with Season 3 soon!!! I feel like I missed my calling in life after playing this game 😆😂

Good but many issues. Firstly, I love this game because it really feels like your a detective and your piecing things together, it’s like your traveling to another dimension. However, my experience always seems to get interrupted by the bugs. Sometimes it doesn’t allow me to sign in and I have to wait a very long time. The app says my password is incorrect and an hour later I come back in and sign in and then it finally allows me into the app even though I’m putting in the same password as before? In addition, the site freezes sometimes during conversations and it really messes with the vibe. When these freezes happen that’s when I get logged out and I cannot sign back in. But, when I do sign back in my progress gets messed up and the stories get super glitchy and I have to move onto another story and then that story freezes and then the process repeats. These glitches are very frustrating and I really hope the Netflix team fixes this because this game has so much opportunity to be great but there’s so many issues which downgrades the experience rating from me. I don’t think it’s just me because other reviewers also say the bugs are frustrating which is such a shame because they also say this game is also very fun and has so much opportunity. Hope this helped new players to understand what they are downloading 😂. I also hope this reaches the attention of the Netflix team because I love this game but I just get incredibly irritated with the bugs. Thxxx

Great game! Audio problems. This is my second time playing this game. By first play through was fine, I ended up deleting the game off my phone. Now that I’ve redownloaded it, there is no audio within the app at all. I’ve tried everything to fix it, but I simply can’t get it to work. It’s a great story, and it’s not ‘unplayable’ without the sounds, but it does add a lot to the game to have the music and voices and such.

Great game, lots of issues. LOVE this game! The interaction of this game hooks you in and makes you feel as if you’re actually a lead detective solving crime. But, there are many issues that I’ve found while playing that pulls you back to reality. When I close the app, sometimes it will not save my progress and I’ll have to completely restart an episode, which is annoying. Sometimes the videos do not play, which isn’t a huge issue, but it feels like it defeats the purpose of the game. The last issue I found was that I closed the app when I was playing the alternate ending to the first story and lost my progress. I tried to restart the episode but the “alternate ending” was just the ending I received the first time I played the story. So, I would have to completely replay the story to view the alternate ending I was supposed to get. Again, love this game and I could play it for hours. But, I would like to see these issues fixed because they really mess with the game experience.

Fantastic Game!. As a true crime lover, I was honestly completely blown away by this game. The twist and turns were excellent in both episodes that I watched, kept me on the edge of my seat and really stretch the brain. Another thing I really like about it is that there’s such psychological and human depth to these stories, whether you’re interacting with certain witnesses and people going through emotional things, or seeing the real effect that solving cases like this in real life have on the police I don’t think I ever really appreciated the challenges of police officers in dealing with murder investigations. One night after going to bed after completing one of the games, I couldn’t stop thinking about what if I had done things differently if it would’ve turned out differently, not wanting to give out spoilers, but it felt so real. It really does weigh on you I can’t say enough about this game and I absolutely can’t wait for them to put up new episodes and I would absolutely pay for it. I’m ecstatic that it’s available through Netflix but I would pay every month to have this game! Please make more episodes soon!

More stories. Honestly, I thought this game was great! Best app I’ve seen for this kind of game. Only thing I wish though is for it to have more stories available. I keep coming back and checking to see if there’s anything new but still nothing.

So fun but so many bugs. This game is so fun, I love the live action in it! It also has SO many bugs. It makes it very hard to get through, but I still did. From the cloud save thing to the never ending Sophie phone call and rewinding me back to make the right decision even though I had made the right decision to begin with. Also, the spelling errors drive me a bit crazy. With all this said I cannot wait for another story!

Pretty different and neat. I’m going to continue playing it. It is a bit addicting and as an adult I don’t play many phone games but this has captured my interest. I like that some things will take real time just like real life. Keep in mind that if you silence your phone which is a constant for me these days, you’ll have no sound in the game. You have to un-mute to hear sounds. I haven’t used every feature yet but really cool concept. And neat how you can play from the music app in a persons phone in the game and have that as music, even shuffle. Just nest ideas so far. Only bug so far is periodically I get a cloud save error. One time it crashed the app when I made a choice.

Super fun and very addicting. I a mystery junky so this was right up my alley and I truly enjoyed it. Other users mentioned the bug issues, all of which I have experienced. For more experienced crime solvers, I’d like to see an option where clues are not highlighted - feels too easy. I’d like the option to discover those on my own(perhaps just knowing total number of clues available per episode to see how many I’ve discovered?). More episodes, please!

Volume. Honestly love this game personally I’m a huge true crime fan and I love to watch sadistic killers be put behind bars. So when I saw this I couldn’t resist I downloaded it and powered through the first like four episodes is a couple hours. My biggest complaint that I’ve seen around is people can’t hear the audio at all. I can hear it either and I have no idea how to fix it. And honestly if I had known this before I downloaded it I definitely wouldn’t have

WOKE GARBAGE. This game started out kinda cool. Only problems I had was the chat w the friends taking way too long, and when you interrogate someone every 3 words goes to a new line and sometimes it goes on and on and on for like ten minutes. Don't try and go back and catch up on reading something you missed, nope, they make sure thats the most annoying thing possible. It gets worse as it goes, from the lesbian detective to issues that affect like .001% of the population. The first one eneded w the dumbest thing I ever saw

Slow. Ep 2 of the second case just stopped continuing and i had to repeat some of it. Issues with saving and the information and chats are really slow

Glitches. Amazing game! So much fun and getting a lot of enjoyment from it. Unfortunately there are some real game breaking bugs, such as the game crashing, signing you out and loosing some progress. Among other bugs such as freezing every so often and unable to press some buttons at times.

Pls help. Love the game, but I’m up to episode 6 of red man and there is no option, no way to move forward been like that for a few days now. Any advice or help? Really want to finish this 🙂

Great idea, but lots of bugs. Seems like a great game, sound doesn’t work which means I can’t listen to voice recordings etc. Other few things like when you reopen the game you have to scroll back through the messages to get the latest text. If they can get the bugs fixed it should be a great game.

glitches. While the app has a promising concept and enjoyable gameplay, I encountered persistent prompts to select the app information storage location, despite already doing so multiple times. Unfortunately, this issue led to consistent glitches and prevented me from fully experiencing the game. It's disappointing because I was genuinely looking forward to writing a glowing five-star review about my positive experience. However, due to the navigation difficulties caused by the persistent glitches, I regrettably have to reconsider my initial assessment. I hope the developers can address these issues in future updates to provide a smoother and more enjoyable gaming experience for all users. It's frustrating when an app turns out to be a total waste of time and falls short of expectations. The developers really need to step up their game and work on improving every aspect of the app. It's disappointing when something with such a great concept ends up being so disappointing and lets so many people down. I am utterly disappointed and I wont be willing to give this app another chance. Hopefully, the developers take this feedback to heart and make the necessary changes to avoid such letdowns in the future.

Lost my save game and sent me back 4 episodes. Lost my save game then sent me back 4 episodes. Couldn’t restart from the future episode because it defaulted to a worse choice and pathway. Have to replay hours with no ability to skip. Ruined the whole experience.

Saves buggy. Enjoyed playing it but had to delete it before finishing because it kept deleting big chunks of my progress constantly. Redoing these bits was very tedious and frustrating. This happened every time I exited the screen. Wanted to get to the end but it was too hard to keep going back.

Fun but has issues. It’s set up well but there were a lot of issues saving. I was on on Ep 5 of the Gemma Dream one and it suddenly shut down, when I reopened it, it had only saved up to Ep 2. Not worth playing if it can’t do something basic. I deleted it as I wasn’t going to waste more time trying to get up to Ep 5 again

Amazing concept but restrictive. I had an absolute blast playing both episodes, and it’s clear that the game has an incredibly high production value. The storyline’s were so engaging, and there were enough twists to keep you really occupied. I do wish the game was a bit harder though, like an option to turn off clues or something. I really hope more are made, but I’m about to get finicky with what else I didn’t love. I have three major problems with the game: 1. It can be really glitchy and doesn’t have a manual save option - so if cloud and phone storage stop auto saving you’re forced to go back and play parts again. 2. Limited gameplay choices. *spoiler alert* in unmasked, it takes ages before you realise you can check gemma’s geoblocked locations, and even longer before you can check the users she’s blocked. Those are two obvious things I would have done up front if I had access. And the BACKGROUND IN THE VIDEO - I was screaming at my phone because it was so obvious the killer would be able to work out the location based on the video’s background. It was such sloppy police work, and the fact I had to sit there and play through a mistake I picked up on immediately was so annoying. 3. Generally sloppy police work *spoiler alert* again, in unmasked - why was Mathew’s alibi never asked or checked? He was her ex boyfriend and involved himself in the case, there’s no way you wouldn’t check his alibi and realize he could be a suspect? Oversights like this just made me super frustrated.

Good game but SLOW. This game is really fun & you can see how much effort was added into the design & plot. The major annoyance for me that led to me uninstalling the game is how slow it is - specifically when the police are sending you updates/ when you’re reading through texts it would be nice to have an option where you can tap on the screen to have the next message show up immediately instead of waiting for the ‘police officer to send through the next message’.

Bugs - don’t know how to report. Enjoyable game, but I’m currently stuck on ep3 of the first story as SnapLife will not load. I’ve done everything I can think of, but it’s just a white screen & I can’t find anything online to help with this. Help? Will change rating to 5* once this gets a response/any assistance, thank you

Fix it!. Would be great but glitches are far too many! Got all the way through the 1st case. Spent hours on the 2nd case and it kept glitching and constantly losing my saved progress so gave up!

DO NOT PLAY NEW SEASON WITHOUT FINISHING PREVIOUS. Love the game but I was playing the newest case while waiting for the first case to be ready and there are spoilers in the latest news which tell you who the murderers are and what they did… really ruined the experience for me

Great game, but slightly buggy. Amazing game — really incredible stories with undertones of important social justice topics. Very well written and the characters are fun and engaging to interact with.

Awful writing which depicts Black English people as idiots. Can’t even read what the main suspects are meant to have said, as it seems to be written in broken English by someone who is pretending to be Black English. Note to the writer: NOBODY TALKS LIKE THAT. OKAY? This feels racist.

Great story lines. Very fun game that does focus on some very important topics… just wish there was more story’s!

Fun experience… BUT. I’m playing the first season, and am hooked. I absolutely need to know how this story pans out, but that’s becoming increasingly difficult because the app keep erasing my save data / “forgetting” where I’m up to in the story. Having to reply 50%+ of an episode is getting very tiring.

Entertaining but full of typo’s. Grammar issues really detract from the experience and pull you out of it. Devs should get an editor across this and release an update

Great Game!. I loved both seasons of the game! I think maybe the older reviews were from a previous version where there were glitches but I had absolutely no problems with the game play and was gushing about the game to friends. Fair warning, the first season (Redman) was sort of triggering in the end as a person of colour and I didn't expect it to unfold the way it did which is why i removed one star — but regardless I thought it was a good game:) Hope they come out with more seasons!

Do better!!. If it weren’t for the random glitches here and here this game would be awesome and very addicting. Randomly almost everytime I play it signs me out restarts the game makes me sign and and goes right back to the beginning of the episode. Please fix!

Great game but…. The only reason I don’t give 5 to this game is because the whole saving and loading bug keeps ruining my gaming experience. You are all invested and suddenly you get interrupted about issues saving the game until you get to a point where it forces you to pick a storage and no matter if you pick local or cloud, it restarts the app and then it’s all broken. I’ve also had to restart chapters twice which is annoying cause the data is lost. Other than this, the actual design, storyline and execution is very well done.

Stuck!. Love the game so far, but im stuck of episode 3 of Redman. The ground team are supposed to have an interaction i can choose to talk about Toby Anderson, although thats not appearing and i cannot progress. I have tried several things to fix it to no avail.

Can’t close the app. I’m having the same problem others encountered. If I decided to go through a story without ever closing my phone or closing the app, I’m pretty sure it would be fine. But, of course, I don’t have the time to do that. So I need to close the app. When I come back on te app, the waiting time for my coworkers to find info is gone, the possible texts I can send them are gone, and basically it means I can’t interact with the game anymore. The best way to continue is to start the next chapter, then go back to the chapters menu and restart the one I was playing before the bug. Restart a chapter taking 60min when you’ve been playing for 45min is not very encouraging… And it’s a shame because it’s a very interesting game, one of a kind! (I contacted Netflix but they were not able to help)

Awesome game but please FIX IT!. Stuck on episode 4!

Broken and Bugged. First episode went smoothly and then the second and third gave continuous issues. It started with getting logged out randomly and then turned into having to revisit parts of the episode. However, upon revisiting the dialogues and event sequences were out of order. The logging out became more frequent while playing and the UI is so dated it feels like a 2009 iPod touch game and not a 2020’s game made by a 200+ billion dollar company.

Lost progress. I played for a good hour, then got a message the cloud save failed. I selected retry and the game restarted erasing all my progress. Right back to square one. I have no desire to redo everything. Waste of time.

Super cool!. I just played the first chapter and I loved it! Note, this game is definitely for older audiences and not suitable for children.

Fun but…. First episode went well the second one is bugged! There was a waiting time in the chat and after that nothing happened!! No one to interrogate, found all clues…but nothing happens…nothing i can « say » in the chats and they dont have anything to tell me either 🤷🏻‍♀️

So much potential-but it’s “woke” Devs read your reviews! 😡 so frustrating. Buggy and insulting. So, first you need to know that police are stupid, corrupt to the highest level, racist and incompetent - and that’s who you will be, including when you get it right. I was incredulous at the obvious errors/ lack of procedure but could do nothing about it. No options were given for common sense. Way to insult the player. Amazing concept, terrific immersive experience. Graphics, video etc great. That said it has places where you get stuck and have to reset. You can’t save your progress most of the time or you hit something and the game shuts and you are back where you started! I’m hoping the non Netflix version is better. I’m going to finish bingeing one show and pay my entertainment money elsewhere.

People are not wrong. When I read in reviews about how glitchy the interface was with saving progress, I thought, “How bad can it really be?!”. No, it’s bad. Utterly frustrating and a complete waste of time. I’ve had the restart “episodes” repeatedly. I finally have just given up. Just don’t give a $***. Also, I discovered in being forced to replay the same scenes over and over again, that how you engage in the play (which prompts or choices you make in the conversation) make little difference in the game outcome. It gives you the impression of making you believe you’re totally clever, like you’re actually helping solve the crime, but it literally doesn’t matter your role in it. Having had to replay the same episodes so many times, I click whatever response simply to advance the story to where I left off as quickly as possible. Also, what’s the point of asking whether you want to save locally or to the cloud if neither works. I’ve repeatedly had to answer this prompt, finally selecting to save locally, only to be prompted a short time after that cloud saving failed. Of course it failed, I selected to save locally. Doesn’t matter. Neither method works. Blah blah blah. Don’t waste your time. 2 stars simply because the voice acting, and effort that went into developing the story line and content, is really excellent. Such promise, just failed execution

Garbage. Crashed halfway through 1st interrogation. Forced closed and re opened. Asked me to sign back in. Then get an in game phone call and it’s frozen. Wait a few minutes. Unresponsive. Uninstalled.

Love it. I love this game so much. Its fun and super interactive. I wish there was more than the two stories because you finish them quick but that than that is amazing.

Please fix softlocks. I love the game but too often I won’t be able to progress because a dialogue option or clue just won’t show up and the only option is to reset my progress

Issue. I get a save advisory in the middle, but every time I click save to cloud, the game restarts to see if the file crashes and I lose some of my progress. Please improve this. Thx

Was enjoying until app got stuck. Played through first bit of the first full case (not the tutorial) and after a certain event (media posts video from the Heath that triggers a call from Vik), I can no longer “x” out of any screen. This includes reviewing past conversations, apps on victims phone, etc.

Glitches and Bugs. Game clearly wasn’t ready for release. Several issues including dead ends, having to reboot constantly, and certain features not loading.

BEST INTERACTIVE STORY EVER WRITTEN. I can’t believe how much I love this game. It is simply perfect. I loved the way those issues are portrayed to teach us something and engage us in making things better. I used to have an OF and the awful things these girls are living is 100% true. I am not only waiting for season 3, I am waiting for season 1000 so this game never stops.

Really enjoy it!. Love this game, I see there’s a Netflix version with the 2 main episodes free and non Netflix version where you have to pay 400 Scriptic coins to unlock the same main episodes and seasons.. which thank you Netflix for the free access! What I DO like about the non Netflix version is there is a mini series section available although you have to pay to get them using Scriptic coins which is $2.99 for 100 tokens and to some people that’s a bit pricey but It could be worse I suppose. It would nice if Netflix added the mini series part to its version so it’s also free but great game non the less!

No sound. No sound ! I tried everything but there is no sounds which makes all the calls very frustrating to go through

Fun but would love updates. I really liked the stories in this game and they kept me invested and wanting to see what would happen next! I think the game could really benefit from the option to fast forward/speed up the text though, as sometimes the dialogue was painfully slow. It was especially frustrating in the alternate ending of the first story, when I had to go through an entire long interrogation which I had already seen in the original ending. I feel like you should be able to skip this, as it had been seen already. I also had the app boot me out and re-sign in multiple times, causing me to lose progress. Lastly, I didn’t love how the player is blamed for making bad decisions, when the game forces you into them, or another character (Sutherland) makes an error which is then pinned on the player. Just a small nitpick, but I was like “hey I’m innocent here!” on a few occasions. Would certainly play more stories if they get added to this netflix version, just hoping for some quality of life updates as well

Broken save system. A broken and mostly nonfunctional save system is wrecking an otherwise interesting game. When you have to play parts that are not skippable over and over it makes your game not worth continuing with.

Loved it at the beginning. Ive played the first episode and it was ok then when i reached second episode i had to wait for the informations to go through and when waiting time was over i couldnt do anything else theres no more clues to get and i can’t interact with any of the chats .. disappointing

Great design!. Super fun! It allows you to play the detective in a murder investigation and it’s super easy to navigate! I love the details added (ex:you can navigate through the victim’s phone as though it were a real one). Super great:)

Fun but too slow. It was really fun to play and I think it was smart to touch on political issues with the crime games. However, I wish there was skip button or fast forward button. i do get this was supposed to be a real time experience but it was so hard to go back to the game when it failed to save and went back 3 ep.

Great idea but needs work. I played the first story on this app up until episode 3. At some point mid episode I was given no more communication options with my team. This lead me to believe that there had to be some sort of clue I needed to find in the victim’s phone. I searched through every app including the “snaplife” app with no new clues. I then tried to re go through everything and the snaplife app just stop working. There were no visible profiles or stories, just a blank template where they should’ve been. I tried every trouble shoot method listed on Netflix’s website, restarting my device, closing the app, uninstalling and reinstalling the app as well as resetting the app’s progression. I made it back to episode three but ran into the same issues. I called customer support through the Netflix app and talked to a very friendly lady for 20 minutes. She only could tell me to do the troubleshooting options I had already tried. I’m very disappointed before this I was amazed at the story telling and the way the game immersed you into this role as detective. I hope to see this fixed because I would quite enjoy progressing.

Fox your constant sign in glitch. Really great story but due to the app logging your out constantly the game is almost unplayable. You sit through really long slow diplopie, just to have the app make you sign back in, and then lose all your progress, forced to watch the exact same stuff happen. No fast forward on text, phone calls or interviews. After signing in again most of the dialogue is lost and likely won’t come back, causing things to happen out of order or not at all. Not impressed.

Cant watch videos. im not able to watch video gameplay, its just a black screen. I can’t even look through the evidence properly

It was great but…. I loved it. It was interesting enough to make me want to know what happens next but wasn’t so involved that I had to get to a certain point to stop. The only complaint I have is there are only 2 seasons of 5 episodes each. It was fun while it lasted.

Impossible to play. I played a bit of the first episode for maybe a few minutes then I got to a part where it just wouldn’t continue so there was nothing left to do and I had to uninstall the game. There is also a bug that makes me sign into my Apple account to save the game and then it crashes/closes the app.

Why won’t It let me download the game!. I tried to download the game because I deleted it after it stopped working and now when I try to download the game again, the game won’t download. I love this game but I don’t like how I can’t redownload the game.

Stuck. Every time I open the Gemma Dream case it just repeats the phone call from Sophie. Then nothing. I can’t chat, I can’t interrogate, I can’t do anything. Other than that it’s a lot of fun.

good but stopped working. I like this game but it gives me no other option but to click the snaplife notification and when i do it just loads and never pulls anything up. Interesting game but buggy. So far I’m enjoying the game and the first story a lot, but I’m so close to just deleting it due to how frustrating the cloud save bugs are. I’ve had to redo the same episode like 3 times now.

Needs some work. Really cool idea, enjoying it so far. However, it does appear as though Netflix was in a huge rush to push out this app, still has a lot of bugs and malfunctions. I’m sure with time it’ll get worked out, and I definitely think anyone who loves true crime will enjoy it.

Kind of entertaining. I liked that it was like choose your own adventure and the choices within the game affected the outcome. Unfortunately it was also filled with characters that just kept talking and were unskipable. Not bad but could be better.

Can’t continue on. Too buggy to continue, LITERALLY. Like I cannot make anymore moves, it’s not updating conversations. Made it to chapter 5 too, so I really wanna know what happens 😓. The story writing and concept are really enjoyable, but they need some new programmers or something here.

I would definitely want to see more. The game and the stories are very addicting. There was some app problems like the chat scrolling to the top or failure cloud save notifications. Even through that I would love to solve more mysteries!

Not ideal User Experience. I love the concept but I didn’t get past episode 2 due to frustrations of being logged out mid-use MULTIPLE times and having to type full Netflix UN and PW every time. And each time I logged back in I’d lose some of what was done and all the chats disappeared. I tried one more time to enjoy it but had the same thing happen. Bummer.

Crashing Constantly. At most twice per episode the app logs me out of my netflix account and makes me log back in, then causing the app to glitch until I force quit and reopen. It’s a good game, but the bug is a bit annoying.

GREAT game, please add speed options. I love this game so much, genuine twists and thrills. It’s fun while also carrying deeper messages. Only thing is the text is soooo slowwwww. I would love to be able to tap through it or speed it up.

Love it. I think it’s awesome. I love that Netflix came out with it! Definitely know what they’re doing. Sometimes I wish there were different choices, and I’m in dire need of more stories! It’s addicting I could play it for days if I could.

App crashing. On episode 2 “Unmasked” the app crashes when Sophie asks for more time to get into Gemma’s AllMyFans. I’ve tried deleting and redownloading the app and it’s still crashing. I can’t go beyond her asking for more time and crashing and then restarting the convo about asking for more time. I love the game so far, just wish I could get passed that point.

Glitches galore make it hard to finish. I’ve replayed the same episode probably 10 times and I can’t get past it because it glitches. I have things I can do/say on YardOS but I can’t see them or the messages from people. The victims phone just keeps reverting back to the beginning of a conversation and I have to redo it

Great idea, terrible execution. The game is awesome, but the bugs make it unplayable. Got about half way through the third episode of the first case, and it keeps giving a cloud save error, and pushing me back to stuff I’ve already done, and then doesn’t let me communicate with forensics, ground team, or intelligence. Very disappointing. Fix your game.

Save Issues. I would love to keep playing this but it is consistently not saving my progress, so I have to restart an episode from the very beginning. Both Cloud save and local save do the same thing. The game is great, I love the format, but there’s no point in playing if I can’t progress.

I’ve never played anything else like it and I can’t wait for the next story BUT Reason why I can’t say 5/5 is the bugs and glitching. More please!. I actually loved this game! I think it’s really cool and I love that at the end you can fix your mistakes if need be. It’s really immersive and I absolutely cannot wait for the next case to be released!

Not Playable. I have been really enjoying this game, but I’m totally stuck on episode 3. No new info coming in, nothing new on his phone. I can’t skip time or anything. The story just stopped, which is super frustrating because I got hooked! I’m going to try to play the other story I guess, but would really love to finish the first. Very cool idea, would be 5 stars if I could actually play.

Too slow. This is a unique concept and has some bugs. Overall a decent game. However, it’s so very slow. The chats come in slow. The interrogation goes on and on with slow subtitles coming in. If you’re a fast reader waiting for script and dialogue to appear could be a major turn off for you. I lack the patience for it.

Good game but fix the bugs. I like the idea of this game however it crashes so much and when you go back into the game you can’t do anything. I’ve had to reset the game several times at this point because of that I don’t want to play.

Bugs everywhere. I was playing chapter 6 of the first story and I closed the game because I had to go do something, hoping it would save and I could get to see the call, but when I came back the call wouldn’t trigger and I was stuck and couldn’t do anything else, ruined my experience.

Good but could be better. Game is good, but would be so much enjoyable to play if there was some skip or fast forward options. Especially in the alternate ending episodes. Crashes after Netflix login!! :(. I played the first story and really enjoyed it. I went on to play other games and recently came back to this to play the other story. After launching it asks who is playing and requires me to enter my Netflix profile PIN. WHEN I do, the app crashes. I can’t find any way around this!

too many bugs. could be a nice game if it didn’t glitch every time i opened the app and never saves my progress… i wouldn’t mind if i had to redo a small part but i’ll usually close the app after i FINISH an interrogation because they tend to take awhile, but everytime i open the app again i have to redo the interrogation and it’s annoying and time consuming.

Game froze and wouldn't progress. On chapter 3 the game ceased to progress. I've closed all other apps and restarted my phone and game was still frozen in same spot. It's disappointing bc you can tell a lot of work went into this. We'll see if restarting the level will work.

Loved it. I really loved the game. The only thing that was annoying was that I couldn’t scroll to read while people were texting and it kept glitching back down. But besides that it was amazing. I am Hoping there is going to be more story lines!

Too glitchy. For the third time now, the game suddenly stopped, made me log in, and then when I resumed the game, nothing worked. First time, I had spent six hours and almost done with Episode 6. Had to reset and start all over. Tried putting it in airplane mode and turned off cloud save, neither worked. Gave it three tries to play, not wasting my time trying anymore.

Wow. Honestly playing this I actually cried my heart out. I could feel everyone’s emotions in the game and I felt like I was legit helping out real people.

stuff i noticed. in the second case (episode 2 of it i think) i had to keep going through the call with sophie if i exited the tab and it reloaded, the call itself pretty short but mildly annoying when you have to do it again. it didn’t make me go back and do the stuff i already did, it just kept replaying that call when on the calls there’s no confirmation button like how you usually say send before saying something, i had misclicked in those calls a few times other than that i don’t really have any complaints, i have some compliments though the stories are very immersive, and it’s easy to get caught up in the plot this might be frustrating to some people but i like how one decision you make can alter which ending you get, it makes it feel more real while i’m writing this there’s only 2 stories, but i’d love to see more! the people who worked on this did a great job :)

NEED MORE STORIESSS. SOOO GOOD I love the plot twists and everything, playing this game makes me feel like a real life British detective. Was really enjoying until. I lost 4 episodes worth of progress!!! Obviously they’re trying a weird saving method, and I think it’s crashing the whole game. I don’t have it in me to essentially restart this game, the interrogations take so long and you can’t skip anything😩. This was so close to being one of my favorites, really bummed.

Meh. Very buggy and politically sided. The first one turned into a support of BLM message and the second one is is about an adult entertainer. Lots of language so use caution if you don’t want your kids hearing the f word a ton. Interesting enough but had to repeat a lot due to bugs and you can’t skip through anything

The second story glitches!. I loved the first story a lot. Everything worked great and it was relatively smooth. But the second story wouldn’t let me passed the first episode. After the phone call I received after watching the Gemma video, it wouldn’t let me do anything else. I’m so sad because I was loving this game! I hope they can fix it.
