Great game. Only knocking a star because of a problem with the statistics. I've gotten chains as long as 13 and 14 matches (+recorded to verify) but my statistics show my longest chain as 10.

Sound FX - disappointing. Needs much more interesting traditional sounding Chinese music… MUCH more.

I would give a higher rate if more themes. You guys should add more themes from Netflix original themes like squid game, Bridgeton , Arcane, and beastars etc. Netflix only seems to care for stranger things 🥲

Tricky, yet fun. I watched my husband play Mahjong and wanted to try it. I decided to play this version on Netflix before trying one made for “seniors.” Well I am still playing this one and it is very fun and challenging. I did drop off from the game for a few weeks, but it is as though I never stopped.

love!. A nice relaxing game. You can find out your times in a different screen if you seek it out, but it’s not a necessity with each puzzle. You don’t feel pressured into tackling each level as fast as you can. No ads and the best part is you can install the app in any of your devices and your progress is saved onto the cloud. Specifically, progress is account-bound. With other mahjong tile match games, you need to watch ads to reshuffle, but it’s not necessary here. There’s no in-app purchases as well. You just get better scores with little to no undos or reschuffles. So glad Netflix released this game!

Great game. The games are challenging, but not frustrating. No ads, nothing to buy. Just play!

Options limited. The game seemingly offers suggestions, but then those are more like forced options because the game doesn’t proceed if you don’t accept option offered. For example the gift of coins to purchase a free theme that’s absolutely not relaxing, “Stranger Things “… horror is not my thing… instantly deleted this app to my sad disappointment…

Great game. I love the nature sounds in the background. I love mahjong

Is there an ending?. Started with 400 or 500 puzzles and now have 800 puzzles. I suspect they’ll keep adding more puzzles to keep one playing. Which isn’t great if you are the type to feel compelled to finish each puzzle. Also, themes so far lean heavily towards Stranger Things. Not a watcher of that genre so I choose the other “traditional-ish” themes or the beach one.

A actual decent game and no ads. Overall great time but the animations are longer than what would be comfortable and the animations obstruct visuals of the game, too flashy

Challenging. Fun but difficult

Get rid of forced hints!. I love Mahjong games & this one is cool but ugh can you not force me to use a hint?? Or at the very least let me opt out of using it instead of having to close the app completely then re-open it? I don’t want to lose points by using them.

Calming Game. Fairly new to Mahjong but was pretty easy to pick up. Love the colorful tile patterns and soothing music in background!

Tracks you. This is a very good mahjong solitaire game, except that it tracks your location, which I hate. However, the game has no music, just peaceful nature sounds which I like much better.

Play it!. The game is everything you expect from Mah-jong. It does not disappoint.

Good. Please change the forced “hint”. There is no way to close the pop up hint box or say no thank you to the pop up asking if you want to take a hint. I have to force close the app every time because I dont want hints and shouldn’t be required to use it! Overall enjoy the game and appreciate Netflix making games! Nice not having adds. Please make word games

Please add more themes!. I love this game and would be so excited to buy more Netflix themes! Bring me Bridgerton or Virgin River or OBX, etc!!!

Netflix isn’t Netflixing. Why is this a “Netflix” game and yet it doesn’t fully support watching minimized Netflix at the same time? It’d be perfect if I can watch at the same time without being blocked by the minimized screen

Glitchy. This is a nice game program but it often won’t load without a few attempts. Otherwise decent.

Brain fodder.. Just DL’d and I quickly realized it’s the best Mahjong app I’ve had the pleasure of playing.

Forces you to use your coins for stranger things theme. I don’t like how it forces you to use coins to buy the stranger things themes when I’ve never watched stranger things. I could’ve used my coins for a theme of a show I like or at least actually watched.

Don’t want to use a hint. This game is great except it decides for you that you should use a hint of you take too long. There is no way to turn that feature off or say “no thanks, I’m good.” Instead you have to close out the app or use the hint. I don’t want to use a hint! I want to figure it out. And sometimes I am needing to do something irl and then I have to close the app to continue solving the puzzle. Stop forcing me to use a hint!!!!

Don’t force a hint!. Don’t force me to do a hint if I mess up a couple times! I know where the hint button is. I don’t want to use it!

Need option to turn off helper. I really like this app — I love mahjong and I like that they keep the backgrounds and sounds calming. But I’d like an option to turn off the setting that highlights available tiles. I don’t want the help. I also don’t like that it forces me to hit the ‘hint’ button if I’m taking a long time. I answered a text message and was forced to clock ‘hint’ because the app noticed how long it had been me there’s no option to close the ‘hint’ window when it pops up.

How to play. No idea other than matching. How do I play mahjong

I always love a challenge. I’ve enjoyed Playing this game for years, although, it’s been a while. Still love it! Must put on my specs with the phone. I’m interested to see how it works on the BIG screen.

More themes please!!!. I love this game and I genuinely think it’s 5-star worthy but I’ve had this game for about two years now and there’s still only the same 5/6 themes (background, music, and tiles all included) which I’ve already unlocked. I’d love some more general themes, not based off a show or anything!

Gma04. I am a new player to mah jong and some of the Chinese symbols are challenging, but I love playing this game. It is relaxing to play.

Beautifully designed game!. I am glad I discovered this Netflix version. I had another version of Mahjong and deleted the app because I kept getting pop ups - hackers phishing.

Fun - but no way to close hints. The game is fun. You have an option to change the background (some come with music), the puzzle pieces, and avatar. There are no ads or required purchases. The only downside is there is no way to “x” on the hint pop-up option. Only way to close it is to select hint and lose points or force close the app.

Kind of Addicting. I love this puzzle game. My only complaint is that when a game is completed the previous high score isn’t displayed. So when you think you’ve done well, you never really know how much better you did.

Ehh it’s fine. It’s fine, everything works like it should, but if it’s created by Netflix, why do I constantly have to move around the pop out Netflix window just to see the whole board? I assumed this was a relaxing game to play while watching Netflix, but I don’t think that’s how Netflix designed it

Pretty, not perfect. Please developers, make it so it can also work in landscape mode on iPad

Trash App. Crashed almost as soon as I opened. Tried to sign in and it crashed. Also apparently doesn’t have a landscape mode for ipad so what’s the point

Soothing. This solitaire game is great. Try it for the Mahjong tile matching. Stay for the combination bonuses and cosmetic unlocks. Including it with an existing service is refreshing compared to other modern (competitive) games with premium, super-premium and other (pay-to-win-more) in-game purchases which seem designed to drain cash endlessly. Leave all that behind. Tap some colorful blocks. In my opinion this game is inherently fun.

Don’t Like Exploding Matches. 5 min in: matches flash in an unrelaxing way, but if I try to change themes I need 4925 more of something or other. I see that the annoying animations are mentioned by other reviewers

Too much stranger things content. I like the game itself but the majority of cosmetics (themes, tile sets, backgrounds, and icons) are stranger things themed. It would be nice to get more general themes or at least other netflix series content instead of all stranger things. They dont show you a full tile set before unlocking with coins so I was disappointed ones I unlocked were stranger things themed upon seeing the whole set.

Love this game so addicting. First mahjong game I ever was addicted to especially because, the tiles are so different and the tiles are so better and the backgrounds and the avatars, no other mahjong game has good graphics for this type of game but ,I just hope in the future they add more tiles maybe other popular TV series on Netflix. It would be nice if they had the same amount of themes/backgrounds, and avatars, and tiles that match the backgrounds as well some do some don’t, Is it possible to have challenges and competitions with other players in the game to win?

Didn’t know my mother worked for you…. Figure she must, since she’s the only one who could tell me what to do! Every single day I open your app, I’m told I have to pick the Stranger “whatever” theme! If I wanted that particular one, don’t you think I’m capable of choosing it for myself!?!? Can’t even get out the darn page! And when I check back 20 minutes later, it’s still on that page! I don’t need a babysitter when games. Deleted

No bugs, but needs work. The organization of menus is original, but minimalistic and lacking intuitive choices. The graphics are beautiful, as is the sound. But you can’t adjust either without going all the way out to the main menu. Matches create an animation where the pair meets up with a loud slap in the center of the screen. This blocks your view of the table as well as being loud. You can turn down the volume, but you can’t turn off the animation. Games are timed so having animations block your view of the table is annoying. If you can get over these frustrations, it’s a pretty game.

Mahjong. This game is hopeless, it doesn’t load correctly, and when you get lucky and it does load you have to start back at level one again!

When the tiles clash. So, it needs to be bright on my home screen so that I can see which tiles are, functional, for want of a better word. I pick two functional tiles and they clash together with a clanging sound and an even brighter flash of light. I am finding that it is uncomfortable for my eyes! Can the clanging and the brightness be reduced a little?! Otherwise, quite enjoyable though I would like to have a more clear progression of levels.

Quite easy : please make more puzzles!. Downloaded the game on March 29, and I am almost done the game… Wish there were new puzzles after 900. I had to slow down on playing in order to complete the final challenge (75 daily challenges). Quite easy, almost never used the reshuffle or other “helpers”. But overall GREAT GAME and love the fact that there is no advertisements. Thank you!

Randomly resets all statistics. After the third time it randomly reset all of my statistics (including all unlocked features and about 20,000 points), I just deleted it. Really only like one tile set/theme, but in order to achieve daily goals you had to unlock and play other sets, themes and avitars, then took them all from me.

Annoying flashing effects. EDIT: an update just did that. Great! I wish there was a way to turn off the flashing light effect after each pair you clear. It gets really annoying.

Games aren’t loading. I’m on level 28… I have just been chugging along until I hit ‘next game’ & I heard the tiles but they aren’t showing up. 1-50 was fine 50-100 there were a couple games that skipped. 100-150 was hit or miss. Now I’m unable to progress. Please fix. I LOVE Netflix; I like Mahjong — especially one that doesn’t interrupt for ‘station-identification’ or whatever. Fix the game & I’ll be back to change ⭐️ to ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
