Great. Needs landscape.. The app works really well and handles multiple calendars well. I wish you saw more info per day without clicking on a particular date. There's a lot of wasted space on the bottom which is solely dedicated to day detail. That could be used for more detail in calendar view and then converted to day detail when a date is selected.

Nice to look at but....... One thing missing is the ability to click a "today" button. I tend to swipe forward to the up-n-coming month. When I'm done looking at next months activities, I want to hit one "today" button that will flip me back to the current month/day. Ended up deleting for that reason. Nice format and coloration choices.

Excellent Mail App..????. Needs to be able to invite other people to the event

Format nice, but doesn't refresh.. I like the format of this calendar a lot, but I get really frustrated because it doesn't update when I add new events to a calendar that is being imported. There is no refresh button either, and so events that get added to my work calendar or google calendar are not showing up. :(

Awesome! Great Features!. But gray is the only decent color. •Others should be more muted. •Also, for such a well designed app, it has an ugly icon that doesn't match it's style. •We should be able to tap outside the window of a selected event instead of having to tap the X. •And SEARCH would be nice!

Beautiful Simple Design. As an architect I appreciate the design...very straight forward and simple. The color backgrounds add to that. The multiple calendars help organize multiple projects. Very easy to set up and use. Well done !!!

No single update in two years. Lolz! This app used to be my default calendar app. I switched.

Buggy. Version 8.3 after purchase of pro there are bugs in landscape mode. For pro version price it seems that it should be more stable than free version. After reinstalling it seemed to fix problem until trying landscape mode again and once again it remains stuck. Will change rating if issue is addressed. I have liked this calendar more than any others.

Nice. The fact you can change colors and the automatic sync with the built-in Calendar. Easy to use. No ads.

Dear lord finally!. I’ve had an Apple iPhone since they came out. I’ve ALWAYS hated the calendar feature. I just wanted a simple at a glance for the month, the ability to set alerts, and have a toggle feature for details. Never found an app that was easy or offered all 3 things in a straight forward. I’ve been relying on my notepad and reminders to get by. Which isn’t awesome. I’m a visual person so colors are how I remember things and stay organized too. Total bonus of the app. The fact this app offers that has me blown away. I’ll be buying the full version and recommending it.

Great looking and functioning.... ...calendar. I upgraded from this to the midnight grid because I wanted that sexy black and super new hot colours that were an upgrade from this. I loved the look of the calendar on the phone and pad but ended up buying the same developer's more advanced calendar, Extreme Agenda which had the same aesthetic features but just does a lot more. If all someone needs is a calendar and agenda can scroll this works great but honestly would spend the extra couple of bucks if you want a very full featured calendar and get Extreme Agenda.

Inconsistent.... I like this calendar, except it seems to only sync between my ipad/iphone sometimes. I wish it would do this every time. I paid for the pro version and expect better performance.

simple and smart. I was a beta tester for this app. I'm not a big calendar guy but when my wife saw it she had to have it, and now it's her favorite. Simplicity is the key factor - it's easy to do the quick real-world scheduling tasks that typically keep me from using other calendars - esp. the built in one.

Nice. Useable. The color themes don't work for me, too bright reds, but the brown seems ok with my careract issue. Also, Orientation limits breaks the deal, at least for other apps. But this is a keeper despite these minor issues (not flaws). I've spent the last year trying to find an useable Calendar. This has become the one.

The only calendar app I use!. It has just the perfect amount of bells and whistles. Not loaded down with a bunch of junk you’ll never use. All extraneous features do is slow an app down and confuse the user. This app is fast, intuitive and gorgeous!

Free In-App Purchase for Full Midnight Version Not Working. I couldn't download the free "Full Midnight Version" since Friday, it would only try to charge me $2.99 eventhough the app was offering that as for free.

Great!. Great calendar. Very easy to use and much better than the iPhone calendar. If landscape mode is added it will be a five star. UPDATE: just upgraded for the week at a glance feature and absolutely love this. Just a swipe of a thumb switches from month to week and another swipe reverts back to month at a glance. So handy!

Insanely Easy to Use..... The Grid is easy to use, has a feature set I've yet to see in any other app, renders beautifully, can customize with lots of colors and add ons (by sharing), but it's missing the one feature I have never been able to find in another app (maybe its Apple' proprietary deal): the date on the app icon, just like the native calendar app. If this app had it, I'd drop the native Apple app and never look back, baby! As it is, I often use the native app icon just to check the date without opening the app. Great job, Gridians! Now, just work on the icon date thing-y, please??

Help and no support?. Help! My app is now showing in pastel colors and I can no longer read my text! I emailed support and got an error message reply. No other forms of support contact are listed... Any way to fix this?

Save history and search option. Would b totally wonderful if only it had a search feature and saved history so could check dates!

Perfect Fit - Smart, Clean and Functional. This makes it easy to organize my schedule as well as my family's. My only critique/request is that they make a dark or neutral colored theme with higher contrast colors for different calendars. The white theme has perfect color contrast as far as the calendars identification color... But the stark white hurts to look at sometimes whereas in all of the other themes, you can barely tell the difference between the purple/red, orange/brown, green/yellow... Other than that, I love this app. (:

Very usable. Wish it had landscape. This is a very usable, practical calendar. I for one do not agree with Apple's philosophy that everything electronic needs to mimic a real-world object for most usability. Therefore, a calendar app does not need to look like a book or sheet of paper on your desk. This one simples flies. It works and looks cool. REQUEST: a landscape orientation would make it perfect (month/day side by side?). I am needing to rotate my device frequently which is a bit of an annoyance. Thanks for the great work! UPDATE v.1.10 New event entry is buggy and tends to hang. Landscape mode nice! v.1.31 Better With each update!

Remove advertisements. Love this app, have been using for years but the recent update now has ads. I paid for ad free version awhile back - tried hitting ‘restore purchase’ and ads still there.

Pretty good. I have been looking for a calendar app that allows for multiple alert times and easy to see all my calendars but the filter at top is awesome. Apple's does do checkboxes so can look at multiple not just all or one at a time but have to go to settings.

Plan for weekly calendar?. Like the clean monthly overview, ability to get an overview of the month and see detail of each day for selected day. Wondering if the font in the calendar box can be control separately from the list at the bottom of the calendar. Like the font in the calendar box to be even smaller than current small. Like to find out if you plan to have a weekly view where it list the appointment and task day by day for the week and allow you to switch scroll from week to week. Like the timetable by Kiwi.

Bugs. I am using an iPad 3 with iOS 9.3.5 First of all it's very hard to get the settings page to open. I don't know if it's due to the location of the settings button, or something else in the software because sometimes pressing the settings button kept sending the iPad into the App Store page. The other problem is that the top line of your app OVERLAPS the top line of the iOS display (such as the word "iPad", the wifi icon, the clock time display, battery charge indicators, etc. Please fix this. Thanks!

Long-time user, now dissatisfied. Have been using this app for awhile because I like how I can easily add appointments down to the minute. However, since updating my OS, it's now acting up. When I paste text into title, some of it disappears: have to go in through other calendar apps to fix. End time is left one minute prior to start: this should be impossible. This app used to be reliable and straightforward. Can't say that now.

Ads now! Bummer:(. I hate the ads. I upgraded to the latest version after a long hiatus of no updates from this app. Hoped that wouldn’t mean ads and there was nothing in the description about ads. Ads started showing up about a month after updating. I loved this calendar at would give it 5 stars, but minus 2 for the ads.

Calendar. I've been using this for years and love it. If it’s not on my Grid it doesn’t exist. So easy to use.

Wish they would fix badge date. I'd rate this app higher if they would fix the bug regarding the date that appears on the badge. It almost always has the wrong date and won't change unless I manually open the app. I have contacted them several times about this and have heard nothing further since an initial response inquiring as to how often the problem occurs. It has been MANY months and no further replies to additional request for help.

Past dates. Great app for keeping current appointments, but it doesn’t save past dates, if you need to look back.

Good App. Liking it so far but I wonder if there will be 2 morecolor packages when I get back to app?? Hmmmmmm It's a nice app & I love the color options.... App told me if I review through app that I'll get a choice of one out of 2 packages... I don't usually fall for it but this is a good app & I'd love to take advantage! Now, I just need to figure out how :-)

Needs a few tweaks.... I am a teacher and would like a calendar app to use with general lesson/ unit planning. I like the clean look and ability to have templates, easily move things to different days, etc. However, the lack of a landscape mode means more effort in typing. As soon as that changes, I will use this all the time! I would also like be able to name a few customizable options in the template.

To be fair.... This is really being picky, but I wish the text were bigger. Turning on the "large text" didn't do much. Aside from that, it's so much better than the iPhone calendar that I ought to just shut up about it. This should be a big winner, and I'm very glad to have it.

Great App. Like the fact that it can assign reminders to a specific lists Cons: - Once one has added a task to day, it is not possible to add another since the icons for adding a task/event are not there anymore

Crazy. For the second time, this thing just disappeared: poof!! Now I have to find a new calendar AND try to re-create all my dates, appts, etc. very ticked off.

The grid is great. Easy to see what is going on all month

Good, except.... This is the app I use for my calendars. My only criticism is the text size on the monthly calendar view doesn't get small enough. I like it for. all of the re-occurring event scheduling features that are significantly better than iPad's default options. I can think of a few options it doesn't have when it comes to reoccurring event options, but I suppose that list could truly be endless.

Love It!. This is a very simple calendar app to use. As a senior citizen, I like the way it looks like an old-fashioned calendar. It is shareable with my husband, who is more technologically challenged, so he can keep up with the events that we have going on. You can add plenty of categories to sort the type of events in your life. This calendar also pairs with the calendar built into your phone easily. Just one problem - developers, will you please add the years 2021 and beyond? It is a pain in the neck to have to scroll through the months to schedule an appointment a year from now! That is my only complaint.

Fast and Furious. The Grid is a quick and easy way to control your calendar! Lots of user-friendly features and super responsive developer— definitely better than the other apps out there!

Very Simple and Effective. I've had grid on two devices for a few months and hadn't given it a real shot. Now that I need the calendar, I've turned to grid to help me stay organized in a no fuss way. The apple calendar app is good for displaying the date on the icon, but it can take a few taps to get what Grid can show with one or two. Everything is simple and straightforward and the color-themes are pretty cool to tinker with. Good app guys!

Event timer. You need and actual alarm like event timer with a clock so you can set an alarm to an event to a time.

Week Scroll is great!. Just purchased the week scroll for $1.99 and really adds a lot to an already great app. Shows all appts. upcoming in week. Can scroll forward and backward by weeks too. Just flip page up back to monthly view. I love ability to add templates too for recurring events. Best feature is all your calendars are scrolled at top, so switching calendars is a breeze.

Grid calendar. Not impressed at all, A real head hemorrhoid!

Interface/bad icon. The interface is clean and simple. It's a well designed app and easy on the eyes, and not overly heavy on gestures and features making it simple. One thing I don't like is the app icon. Many people skip over apps that they don't like the icon for. Whether the app is good or not. They won't ever find out whether its good and they like it if they never download it because of the icon.

Corrupted my iPhone. I have been using your calendar for over a year, starting on an iPhone 6. I began having problems with my phone not giving audible alerts to calls, texts, etc. I took it to the Apple store and they ran a diagnostic, said it was fine and reset my phone. Problem recurred. In February 2018 I purchased an iPhone 7, downloaded apps from the cloud, and the same problem occurred. Three weeks ago I took the iPhone 7 back to the Apple store, they ran a diagnostic, phone is fine, and reset it. This time I downloaded apps one at a time. I downloaded The Grid and the problem has recurred, periodically I do not get audible alerts or sound effects, then they will come back. It appears your app has a bug that is adversely affecting my phone. Just updated to an iPhone 11 and still have the same problem. And with the recent iOS update I can no longer see the name of the month at the top of the screen. Very disappointed.

GRID CALENDAR. Would rate as no stars if that was an option. Not user friendly. Does not do edits well. Automatically puts things into location, when I would prefer it left it in the text. Was going to also upgrade to Grid Diary Plus, but have now decided against doing that.

It works just fine.... Can you please include choice of smaller text and Landscape would be very to have. It plays well with my native Calendar. Great work!

Pretty good considering it's free. I think this app is pretty good. I like being able to see the text on the calendar so I don't have to click on every day to see what events I have. It does admittedly make it more visually cluttered, but I'm not sure how you would solve that. Either you have the text on the dates, or you don't. Shame that the week view costs extra, as I imagine it would help reduce the clutter, but I'd like to be able to try it out & see how it works before buying it. I appreciate their workaround to putting the day on the icon - clever using the push badge, as Apple apparently doesn't let developers put it on the icon itself. I also like the ability to have as many alarms as I want for an event. (The default calendar app allows only 2). Perhaps a feature could be to allow us to set multiple alarms by default (they currently allow just 1 by default, but the ability to set a few by default for every event would be a great time saver). All this along with drag & drop events, event templates & multiple color schemes, for a free app, it offers a pretty good alternative to the default calendar app.

Limited Functionality/Awful Design Eye. Wow. A calendar app with no native rotate support? What's the point? Plus the design aesthetic is just awful. Why bother including a retina-burning neon aqua colour scheme when it's obvious that a normal human being would find it visually unbearable? Poor, poor design. Skip it.

Good looking so far.. This app looks very usefull. Haven't been using long but I am going to start. It does a great job and looks great. Time will tell but so far it is great.

Great overall, minor disappointments. The app is perfect for looking at the big picture that is your monthly schedule in a very clear and aesthetically attractive way. The functions do not lag, and the buttons have been designed for the user's convenience - finally. The only issue I had was some of my events in history disappeared on me. I tried to add some events that date back to March 2013, but after I save it, all of the events that I had just added somehow delete themselves without me touching anything. None of my more recent events are touched - just the ones that I tried to add for March 2013. It becomes confusing, and then frustrating because it happens every time I try to re-add them. Hope this gets fixed soon. Otherwise a fantastic calendar app that has achieved more than the generic iphone calendar in all aspects of design.

Nicer and better. Nicer and better than the one that comes with iOS. You can change color if you're tired of seeing white everywhere (iOS 7 is hard on the eyes). French translation is very poor though! Please don't use any translator software or internet langage translator... Ask real people who knows the language to do it. ;)

App. I wasn't going to comment, but this a really good calendar app. What made it even better was, I got to try the app for free! It is as good as any paid app! So if you need a calendar app that apple for got in their iOS, this is it!

Promising. However: This app is pretty hard on the eyes. No one could like the colour scheme. No landscape mode? No calendar wrap, ie: when you are at end of a month you cannot see the beginning of the next month without swiping to the next month. Then you lose this month. In other words you can't see a full eek at either end of a month. It would be really nice to swipe to the right to delete an entry. 3 or 4 key entries is too long. But really it's hard on the eyes! But I'm giving it a chance. Fix these issues and I will dump Fantastical which is really over rated.

Total Crap!!!!. While I love the look of this app, it doesn't work! I just spent 20 minutes inputting my schedule and then it crashed! Ever since everything I've tried to schedule has disappeared. :(

Sweet, but just last thing. I love it, but it's missing one thing: changing the size of the text for the events in the calendar to be smaller would be greatly appreciated. Finally, a custom colour palate would be sick as well. Thanks, sweet app!

Best calendar app out there!. I've tried many other calendar apps, I like the visual of words on the calendar...not dots. Sycs with iPhone calendar, which is backed up on iCloud. I love it!

Nice app and no ads.. Very nice so far. The colours are very limited and most of the ones it has are a little stark. Other than that it looks nice in the default blue.. I like the daily multi event and Alarm ability. I have paid for apps that don't come anywhere close to the appearance and functionality of this free app. Get it while it's still free.

Ugly and not useful.. Not much else to say. All the text makes it look cluttered. There's no way to simplify it. Just bad design.

WAY better than iOS 7 calendar. Ability to see events in the month view is great for us "planners"... Plus, it maintains the old calendars ability to see a days summary below.

week view. please allow week view toggle as a button on the calendar rather than going into settings also, week view tasks only visible until wed. when adding tasks to wed-sat, sun-tues tasks are not visible

Relative Dates Enabled!. I've been looking for an apple friendly calendar where I can add an event that occurs every 4th Friday of the month (for example). This is the one!! Everything else seems to be in there too, like fb friends b-days:)

Good but missing one important function. Easy to use. Sleek. Great to see events in text in month view. BUT you cannot set this app in widget and view it conveniently. This is an important feature that all calendar apps should have for convenience. Hope they can update someday.

The Grid. Five stars are definitely in order for an app that is easily useable and easy to read. I find that white letters on a dark background are easier to read than black letters on a white background . An example would be aircraft instruments with white digits and letters on a black dial . Very, very cool.. I was looking for a simple, easy-on-the-eyes calendar for my iPhone and iPad mini. I'm a SAHM and don't need much of what comes in other calendar apps. Does what it says it does, and then some. Get it. Now!

Great app. This app is great for work. I can set up appointments by time, date and weather it's going to be weekly, every 2,3,4,5 or six weeks without manual doing it.

Easy to use. I like most of it but would like black text on light background. Colors are harsh. I don't like Sat and Sun being shaded.

Solid calendar app. I've ditched the iOS calendar app for The Grid. Being able to see the actual events on my calendar on the days they occurs is good enough. The colors and features are icing on the cake.

Simple. After despising all the white in the ios6 and higher updates, here's an app that works like what comes on the iPhone, only with some color choices. Easy to use, and there's an area that lists multiple tasks for one day, so I can see at a glance what's up.

Needs some things. This is a great app and love that it automatically syncs w iCal. And love the fact that I can customize the repeat event. But it needs a button to take you back to current day, a search button, and a different view option where you can see day, week, or month!

Good. This is a pretty good app, especially the templates. I don't like the color schemes much and I'd prefer a plain black/white/gray scheme. Entries could use a bit more padding. A list view option would be nice. And a different icon.

Just a calendar. This is a good calendar app. Easy to schedule and edit events with easy to view details. However, no option for tasks -vs- events. If you're looking for a do all calendar app, this isn't it. But if you just want a great easy to use calendar, try this out.

Good. I love the templates. The templates make entering repeating events quick & easy. The only problem I have experienced is that when I use the Template I created for Wednesdays, the information disappears. I enter any of my other schedule templates without a problem, but Wednesdays do not remain after closing & reopening the app.

Wish I hadn't updated it.. I love this calendar but what good is it if I can no longer add events. It locks up every time I go to set the time. I've tried closing it and turning iPad off and on again. Doesn't fix it. Please fix it.

Super. I have downloaded many calendar apps both free and paid but couldn't find one with all the features I was looking for till now. Yet so simple to use.

Excellent and customizable. Great calendar app. Excellent options for repeating events and number of alarms for any event. Most all have limited options for both. And that's just a few of the advantages.

Great Calendar. Flat style with great design. Easy to use! Nearly perfect. NIT: in-app upgrade does not give you "Midnight" app since icon remains blue & a new app isn't downloaded.

Nice try. Sluggish overall on my iPad Mini. Today list competes against calendar for precious screen real estate. Must go through app setting to change from month to week view. Hangs when I try to create new event. Pro version colors are very bright but the white text needs more contrast or is hard to read.

Elegant. Beautiful design, but maybe too simple? Maybe I would prefer more sectional color choices instead of all one color.

Great for full calendars. This helps me tons because I have too much on my calendars and Grid makes it clean and clear and easy to decipher what's up for my schedule. Great!

Better than iPad Standard. I was thrilled when, upon startup the first time, this app seamlessly incorporated my data from the pre-loaded calendar on my iPad. The colors could be more mellow, less garish. I'd like access to a landscape orientation and more font choices (bold, styles, etc). But a really nice app.

The Grid calendar. After last update, entry's are disappearing and every time I make an entry it will be repeated 2 and sometimes 3 times for the same date and appt. just about ready to get rid of it from my iPad mini. Very disappointed in the app now.

Good app. Works pretty well. Wish there were more color options. Wish it works with Siri.

Can't edit! Can't delete!. Love the look and ease if entering and viewing purchased midnight version and love that week by week view, but --- I cannot edit an entry! Three times through the tutorial and the edit and delete and copy buttons simply do not appear! Help! How can I edit something or delete it???

Grid is great!. I love the multiple alarms for an event! Is easy to use and edit. I like the multiple calendars for home and work. Really helps me see when my time is scheduled.

A "GoTo" iApp. Quick n Easy view of the months schedule, not just when but what the scheduled item is. Allows lots of options in setup. It's a one of my "GoTo" iApps.

Functions well. Works very well for multiple calendars, but doesn't show a lot of info at once on busy days.

Nice one. Nice and clean app! 1 thing though which can be fixed easily; after entering events I'm only able to email and FB. Would like to use the other options like edit and delete since I misspelled a location

Great app. A very bare bones calendar that is simple to use without instructions. I like the way it merges with my other calendars without multiple steps. Yes, I would recommend this.

Great month view!. Best feature is the ability to see appointments in month view at a glance, no clicking or scrolling required.

Best calendar app so far. The month view is perfect and it's easy to edit appointments. Only problem is the colors are ugly and the day views could be better.

Good clean choice. I like the simplicity of this calendar. Looks clean and mean. Just purchased so haven't put it to the test yet, but looks very promising. Update: just realized this one purchase also put the app on my iPad. Very cool!

Update please. Would give 5 stars if you had the ability to change between landscape and portrait. Even if its just a setting that has to be activated, I would love to use this on my iPad while its in a case in landscape mode. Please update with this quickly.

Exceptional. Love the colors and features! Just not a big fan of the icon change though.

Good secondary calendar. This is a good app for entering events into the calendar. I LOVE the templates feature. However, it can slow. It's too easy to hit the cancel button instead of a category, deleting everything you've already entered. I'd prefer more alarm time options, such as "At Event Time".

My favorite calendar app. It's fast, colorful, and easy to use . Does what I need it to do. Keeps me on top of my appointments. U should try it out.

I wish it opens faster. This is a great app! I just wish it doesn't take seconds to open. Other than that I am very happy with this app!

Grid calendar. I tried several calendars in the ap store and this was the only one that worked for me. Not perfect but pretty close to it once I figured it out.

FINALLY. This app is PERFECT for the month-view planners out there. Summary at the bottom. Multiple alarms. Syncs with all ical and google calendars. Lovely interface with many options to suit your personal taste. LOVE THIS. Thank you!

Like it a lot. I have been using agenda but wish for more detail in the month view. But like my week view. So I may need to upgrade for that in Grid. Still learning me way around but getting my calandra switched was easy. Very intuitive program.
