Michael Bates. The app used to work perfectly. Now it just won’t even open.

Terrible Is Too Kind. Can you bring the old app back? I would give this app zero stars if I could. All of the previous reviews are quite correct. Great magazine, abysmal app.

How to reset a password. I can no longer use my app to purchase issues, it will not take my password and there’s nowhere to reset my password on the app?

Disappointing and unnecessary update. This app used to be good.. Kalmbach must have hired some ex-Microsoft developers because they took something that looked and worked well (the App) and made it ugly and less useful. Nothing is available off-line so we can now forget about reading the digital magazine while traveling. The new layout is just plain ugly and adds few if any useful new features. All hyperlinked material is gaudily highlighted which is both annoying and distracting. Previously saved editions are now lost and must be re-downloaded, unnecessarily wasting bandwidth. Kalmbach - please consider the impact on your readership before making such drastic changes. Keep your developers in check. One star is generous imho. Yuck!

Dissatisfied. 3 articles for over $40.00. Going to their site and registering for the trial period is just the same. It also is a rip off considering once you go through the process of submitting your information you can’t enter the site as described. I even used my alternate email and once again it Indicated my log in information was incorrect. I wrote it down to make sure I was submitting the correct ID and Password but once again it was rejected when trying to log in. I will delete this app and go elsewhere for train related content sites.

Fix or Refund. Like others I cannot access previously downloaded purchases. So either fix the situation or refund me. I submitted my concern through the subscriber form although I’m not a subscriber because the form I was led to through the App Support link resulted in an error telling me to redo or email. I’m really getting tired of businesses wasting my valuable time because of their failure to perform.

Awful. With this update, I can no longer locate my previous purchases. Previous version worked fine. This update is useless. I will not make any more purchases untill this is fixed.

Crashes on startup. Fix this or I will cancel my subscription.

Account login. I don't like how you have to buy the magazines separate if you already subscribed to the magazine in the mail. Please change.

Update crashes. Don't update. App crashes immediately when opening. NEEDS TO BE FIXED!!!!!

Used to be great, it’s ruined now. This app used to be perfect. The interface was perfect. The new look of the latest version is sluggish and slow (even on my iPhone x) and I cannot log in to restore my issues or get new ones. I was on the Southwest Chief this week and could not access one thing to read because of this. Please revert back to a functional and better looking and far more useful app with actual offline storage. One star is WAY too generous, but it’s the lowest rating I was allowed to give. It’s not worth even that. JUST REVERT TO THE OLD APP, ROLL BACK AND TRASH THIS CRAPPY REGRESSION.

Awful app/customer service.. As other reviewer noted new app is awful. Additionally, app support from the publisher for those subscribe via ITunes is the worst. Aside from recommending to delete and reinstall the app, they weren’t of any use correcting a log in issue.

Update causes immediate crash. Crashes immediately. Cannot be viewed.

Update is terrible. With the new update, all my old issues are gone. I try to log in or restore purchases, it fails. Reset my Apple password just in case, and it still fails. This train has crashed and cannot be put back on the tracks

Not able to sign in to new app. My app was logged out in the upgrade and I’m on able to login. When I tried to request app support through the app support link on the App Store I was taken to a website form that wouldn’t submit from the App Store.

Bad. I love the magazine but hate the app, it keeps crashing and making hard to reading my issues. The app developer needs to work on this. It has crashed 3 times and I had to download my issues again, and this has been happening recently plus I have trouble trying to login in to the newsletter. The publisher needs to get their act together.

Terrible new app format. Unable to login nor access previous issues. Re-installing app does not correct issue and there is no support from Kalmbach. I am cancelling my subscription unless this app is fixed.

No new issues. April is the last issue available, no May or June issues available despite subscription. Fix this now please, as there are paid subscriptions that are not being fulfilled.

Delete and reinstall to fix. Just delete the app and then reinstall from the App Store. You can instantly restore your purchases and everything works fine then.

New app terrible. Just downloaded the new version of the app. Several magazines I had purchased don’t even show up as available for download and the app continually crashes, obviously no testing was done before it was released. There isn’t even an option to only show purchased/downloaded issues. Last version was far superior to this new piece of junk version.

No longer works. All I see when I load the app is a photo of a train and a sunset in the background. The loading icon spins and spins but never actually loads. Please fix this so i can actually buy a magazine.

What were they thinking? Does not work!. Trouble accessing since login and password no longer recognised.

Didn’t they test this?. App takes minutes to load and password not recognized to restore or for new purchases for over 2 weeks now. No help from trains magazine/Kalmbach publishing
