Faces are buggy and don’t update. The faces are a nightmare to switch, you have to hope the errors go away after each face swapping. Then when you do get a face you like, it doesn’t update anymore after a couple days. The weather, battery, anything that refreshes when you touch it, doesn’t work. I have all permissions on this app, and refuge watch face and still nothing works. You’re stuck with days old info on your watch face. They really need to fix this app. I have a 13 pro max and a iwatch series 7. Garapp.

expect a subscription paywall. Only downloaded this for the Fallout watch faces, turns out you need to pay a monthly or yearly subscription fee to use them. I'd have paid a one time fee to always be able to use that one face, but a recurring subscription to hold access? No way. I expect it's the same for other licensed faces, so just be aware. The short time I was on the app it was lagging pretty badly so I'm not sure how well it would handle actual use beyond browsing.

Worth the money. I just downloaded this App. and I love it. I wanted to find some new Christmas watch faces for my new Apple 9 series. This has so many I can’t choose. They have many other designs to choose from too. I look forward to decorating my watch face all year.

Huge fan, but big issues lately….. I’ve been using Facer premium religiously for about a year and have LOVED it. But for some reason, it hasn’t been working the last couple of days and I can’t seem to find anything on their website or google about what’s wrong… I really don’t wanna cancel my subscription and find another similar service, but I worry I might have to

Nice but useless. I found some pretty decent watch faces on here I would save them to my watch and maybe 2 out of the 10 or so worked fine. What’s with the 3 day trial a week would be a lot better that way people would have time to look around then after finding out if I want it for a year you gotta pay $60, I would understand paying that amount if any of them would even work I think I was to generous with two stars I got rid of the app and asked apple for a refund fix this up and people would want it but bye

something so irritating. I like this app, it’s cool you can make your own custom watch faces and whatnot. The irritating part is look through watched and you click one and go back and it sends you back at the top so now you have to scroll and scroll to find where you were and that’s is the most irritating thing, it makes me not want to use the app to be honest.

Loading issue. After creating an account within the app the app is stuck on a loading screen in all areas of the app and eventually times out and says a 504 error. Unfortunate because I have only used one watch face and enjoy the app. Everything else worked smoothly it just won’t load now. If it gets fixed I’ll bump it up to 5 stars!

Best faces have a tendency not to update. I REALLY wanted to give a higher review. I do think this is one of the best apps for watch faces. However, many of the coolest faces do not update appropriately. Note: I have an iWatch Series 7. I have followed all of the recommendations shown in their FAQs trying to get the problematic complications to update and still no joy. Give them a try but, if you have a problem with a complication, leave a review on the face page so that the developer is made aware and then remove the face. Better software testing would probably answer many of these issues. Seriously, if all of the faces worked, I would become a premium member for life. But for now, I’m just continuously disappointed, so I’ll just accept the free faces.

Gone downhill. I had this app previously with my Galaxy 4 and it worked amazingly well. Now with my series 3 Apple Watch, it forces me to have to download a completely SEPARATE app to get the faces to look as they are on here. I still have my premium access (shockingly enough) but that apparently doesn’t mean a THING anymore. This is beyond ridiculous and far more complicated than I recall it being. I doubt I will be changing my review any time soon until this (what has to be) glitch is resolved. I am highly disappointed and dissatisfied with this as I loved what this app once offered. Now it’s a complete waste to me.

Doesn’t work almost at all anymore. For the past two weeks the app’s gone crazy: half the time complications do not work or update, the show a lock over each, asking me to subscribe to Premium, which I am already subscribed. The phone app logs me out constantly. When that happens, the faces stop working on the phone. I restore 3-4 times a day; sometimes even that isn’t doable: I get 403 Forbidden on the phone app, and nothing else. It’s like a toddler took over app development and messed up everything. Wish I could attach pics and screenshots. You can’t believe how bad it got… hope someone is paying attention. I did notify customer support. Nice people, but unsure if and when there will be any fixes.

I want to like it. I would love to give this app a five star rating. But most of the watch faces I download are buggy and the compilations don’t sync or update correctly. For example, the date may be stuck on the date that you downloaded it indefinitely or the number of steps is at zero, even though you know you logged steps for the day. It’s very frustrating. The faces are absolutely wonderful, but if they don’t work, they’re useless.

Good but little choice. Now I don’t usually like to pay for things in a app but this was ridiculous. The app only had one free watch face you could customize. And you could only put one thing on the little bubble. And I don’t know about y’all but I think they should give us more to choose from. Because I think it is a little ridiculous to only put one choice and have to buy the rest for like 4 bucks. I know I don’t want to do that. There is a lot of good things about the app too though they offer lots of things other than your watch face. I really think they should give more choice for free watch faces or maybe I missed it but at least tell you before you download it.

Potential to be the top!. This app is excellent and has so many options. But aside from that, I had purchased the premium subscription, yet the faces still didn't sync, and it did not update whatsoever. I paid for the subscription, yet when I download the one I want, it says that I am on trial, so I click on it, but it tells me Im already a premium subscriber. I tried sticking around and messed with it here and there, but no change. Sad that I loved so many of the designs, and they were all fantastic, but man, it's misleading.

Pretty dope watch faces but... I really like this app and the faces that are available. I actually just found out about it and have had my watch for year now lol. I would have given the app 5 stars but I don’t like having to go all the way back through all the faces when I find one I want to get. I just wanna continue looking through the faces, not have to scroll back through them all. Overall it’s a decent app and helps to give your watch a little extra dope factor.

Subscription model makes no sense.. I like the functionality and I have been a Facer user before they introduced the very misguided subscription model for Premium. Hey, I might like a Premium face so much that I’m ok paying $10 for it, but why would I sign up for $4.99 a month if I am not the type who gets their kicks out of frequently changing their watchface? The app and collection deserve much better than a one star rating; the business model deserves negative 5 for customer unfriendliness.

Used to be my watch-face app. Well, this USED to a great app. Not sure what happened on the last update, but now when I click on ANY watch face to view it, app crashes. Time to find a new app. This is a real shame because I had curated a wonderful list of favorite watches that I rather loved. The search function was mega-buggy and near-useless. Also, recent reviews have me VERY concerned. The app had PLENTY of free watches. There was even a list of Top Free watches in there. However, based on recent reviews I’m wondering if that may have changed. Again, truly a shame.

Does not work with OS 8.7 (19U66). This app will not upload watch faces to my SE Apple watch, that is running watchOS 8.7 (19U66). When I try to download any watch face, or create new watch face from scratch. Even the simplest watch face. I get this error message. “This watch face is not available with your version watchOS.” This makes the app completely non-functional. Hopefully, this will be fixed with an update. Update: It now uploads after latest watchOS and Facer updates.

Room for improvement. Ok first as someone who has bad knees I find it really hard to walk 10,000 steps per day but every watch face is set to that goal with no way to adjust it. Also it’s infuriating that every time I go and click on a watch face to get a better look when I go back to continue browsing I get thrown back to the top of the list and not where I left off. It really upsets me to leave this review because other than these two things I adore this app and would give it 5 stars if they fixed theses.

Just ok. I’ve had this app for quite a while now & it seems that with every update it gets a little worse. Most of the time the complications do not show up so you have to click on each complication & make sure the facer app is open so the complication can refresh. It only works 1/2 the time. The subscription price is too high for what they offer. You can build your own watch faces but only from the original platforms & designs that iwatch offers already. So someone creates a watch face & gives it to facer, for free, & then facer turns around & charges us for that very same face. I was even a Beta tester for facer & still there was only a small handful of designs that I could build off of. If your not on wifi forget about most of the complications working so basically your left with 1/2 a watch face that just won’t refresh. They’ve had the same free watch faces since I 1st joined this app & more & more of the watch faces are ending up under the premium side everyday. It’s not a bad app. It’s not a great app but I’d say it’s better than a majority of the watch face rip off apps that are available.

Let Us Pay For Individual Faces ONE TIME. This app is cool, I just got it after they dropped the fallout wallpapers bc I’ve always wanted a working Pipboy one. Only to find out that it’s a premium watch face, and if you cancel your subscription - once the subscription is up, you lose access to the watch face? Come on. I get that y’all have to make money, but allow people to buy watch faces individually and let them keep them regardless of if they have premium or not. $40 A YEAR for a watch face is ridiculous. No one has that kind of money, especially these days. $40 for the watch face itself to actually keep? Okay you got me. Seriously. Please make this an option. You’ll probably get WAY more money this way.

Please fix bugs!. While I enjoy the large selection of Watch faces and the build your own feature, after scrolling through hundreds of watch faces and clicking into one to add to my watch, the app does not pick back up where you left off when you click the back arrow. It makes you scroll through the entire list again and you have to find where you left off. Filters are not the best and there is a lack of tagging to allow for better searching functionality. As others have stated, once you scroll a bit, the page goes blank and you have to wait several seconds or scroll up and down to get more watch faces to load. I also think the pricing is way too high and the free watch faces are mostly meh. I’m on a brand new series 7 Apple Watch and some of the animated watch faces run the animation once and then stop instead of looping.

So far not the best. Okay so I downloaded the app and I was looking at all of the reviews I saw they were mostly ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I downloaded. When I go into the app it said “error losing watch faces please check your internet connection and try again.” So I check my internet connection and it was at full. I exited the app tuned my phone off deleted the tab everything even changed my Wi-Fi, and it still said that!!!! If I figure it out I will let y’all know. Thanks for your time. No value w/o subscription, horrible interface. When the app first came out, it was decent. I would rate it as 3 stars originally. Now that they have acquired a large catalog of user created faces they can sell, every interesting or cool watch face is now a “premium” face you must have a monthly subscription to download. Remember, this is a collection of watch faces other people designed, and have given freely to this company. The other major issue I have with this app, is when you tap on a watch face thumbnail to see it in detail, when you exit you’re back at the top of the list. You may have been on watch face #85, but now you’re back at watch face #1 and I have to scroll all the way back down – every single time. That’s ridiculous.

No support. I had loved this app, initially. There are great watch faces and a lot of modular type faces which I prefer. There are usually free options for just about any style you would want on premium but I usually pay for premium for the extra choices. Regardless, I subscribed to premium without being logged into the app and now I cannot access any premium content. I’ve reached out to support multiple times since the 21st to have the problem corrected but have not received anything more than a single response. I am willing to change my review if support is willing to reach out and actually correct the issue.

Glitchy. I downloaded this and paid for the premium because I wanted all the cool faces. It worked awesome with the first face I downloaded, which was premium. The face updated like it was supposed to for two days then just stopped updating my steps, battery life, and even the Christmas countdown that came with the face. Now I can’t get any of the faces to work on my watch. I’m very unhappy that I paid for premium and now the premium faces don’t even work.

No watch faces, just pictures. If you're looking for watch faces for your Apple Watch that look fitting for it this is the wrong place to look. All the faces for OTHER smart watches look decent, some even pretty fun but not only do the Apple Watch versions look like an afterthought with a generic digital clock or generic clock in the corner but any attempts to open the related apps for the stats will just open Facer which will say to use the Facer app to sync up your watch faces. It's a huge letdown and vastly overpriced. I'm going to try and get a refund.

This App is scum.. TL:DR Even the vanilla Apple Watch app is a better choice, this app is scum. I can’t believe this app is being promoted on the App Store. First of all its so called “create your own” feature is 5$ to gain access and it’s just a remapped version of the standard Apple Watch app. What a ripoff. Secondly the majority of watch faces you can access, without the premium account, are broken and don’t function. As for the premium account, it’s whatever; if you want to subscribe to the service it’s your choice. I don’t believe this app or it’s services are worthy, a paid for third party app that can’t function at a basic level is hilarious. Even when those basic functions are remapped Apple API.

Not Worth Purchasing….. The only good thing about this app is you have a lot of nicely designed watch faces to choose from. But they don’t actually work, half the time the data doesn’t sync and none of the complications actually work, as in if you tap on one of them they will not open the corresponding application. I purchased the premium version and was very disappointed to learn the complications don’t work as they should. I even reached out to support and they apologized but said as of right now they don’t work….how are you selling a app that doesn’t even fully function? I would honestly rather just get a refund.

Don’t waste you money!!!. I had high hopes for this app because, finding a decent watch face app for apple that is worth the money is impossible! I heard about Facer and gave it it try… When it was cheaper, now it’s just like the other outrageous apps that rip you off!!! I am upset I spent even a dime on this app because all it has done is frustrate and disappoint me!! I have an apple series 7 and have never in the entire time I have had this horrible app been able to actually use any of the few watch faces I wanted! When I download the watch face to my watch, it will display only the time and leave blank boxes with nothing in them but the word Facer inside! And if by some strange miracle I am able to get one to work, it’s one that is crappy and unappealing and the watch face may show up but it never displays the correct time or date EVER! And you cannot do anything to even try to update it or change it! Sometimes it’s in a different language altogether!! If I could give this app a negative number I would! Even one star is not deserving, I have ripped off too much money for this horrible rip off app!!! So do yourself a huge favor and get anything but this app!! You will have to pay $60 a year to get cheated and scammed out of your money.. I have tried to contact someone to get some help many many times! And I have not had a single response!

Updated Review. I’m happy to restore my original thoughts about this app. I had som connectivity issues that I couldn’t resolve, but upon being alerted, the developer reached out and everything has been resolved perfectly. The app itself is great because you can easily change the watch face at your leisure and you have thousands of selections. So I am happy to restore a five star rating.

Cool app, but not worth the price.. The app is nice, but I always remember that I choose a single watch face and use it just about forever. Using this app would make me pay $4.99 per month just for using one watch face that was created by another user. That’s $60 per year. For any subscription I always look at what I get for the cost and compare that to how much I get from and pay for Office 365 for 6 people. Why would I pay $60 per year for this? I do not understand. It’s pretty ridiculous. Since every app developer now wants a monthly fee, we’d end up paying the cost of an expensive car note monthly just for apps.

Ridiculous. I don’t usually type reviews, but I am just infuriated with this company! I downloaded the app a couple of years ago and it was so buggy I just deleted it. Now, I download the app thinking I would get a few free faces to see if the program works better before signing up for premium. Well this company doesn’t even give a free trial! After you put in all your info for them to collect and sell, you can’t get past the first screen without obligating yourself to paying $15! Are you serious? Pay before you try on a product that has known issues? This is a horrible business plan and just pure greed, so forget it. Not today. I’ll just see if I can find the developers on my own. Very disappointing.

Watch faces stop syncing. I was so excited to get this app on my phone and be able to see my steps on my watch face. I downloaded the first watch face and was very pleased with it. The next morning I noticed that the date had not changed, and the steps were from the previous day. I removed the watch face, then reinstalled it. Same thing happened again. Then I thought to delete the app from my phone and reinstall it. This time it actually worked for two days. I saw a note from the designer saying to email him if there were any problems, which I did. He replied to my email about four days later saying that I had to contact Facer to resolve the problem and sent me a link. By this time, I had tried a few other faces from different designers. On several the information would not even sync at all. So the watch face would appear on my watch, with no information at all. It has been over 48 hours since I submitted the form to Facer for a resolution. I have received no reply other than the automatic response that my message was received. I have contacted Apple to request a refund of the subscription I have paid.

Wow. Bravo Zulu!!!! Way to source things up with apple. This is Huge. I hope apple is paying attention. And I hope these guys have more in the customizations department for phone as well. Was working great. I have had this app for almost a year and a half and it was working great. Until recently now I can’t sign into my subscription which is current through my Apple ID. I have checked my settings and it’s says it is active but when I sign in I get taken right to the payment area. What do they want me to pay more than I already have? Then l looked for a contact button or link or anything that I could use to ask someone to what is happening and there was none. So I guess if I give it a low rating someone may actually tell me what the heck is going on.

Kinda cool to start with a Major Limitation. I wanted to expand my options for faces on my apple watch, and settled on this app. Unsurprisingly the “cool” faces were all premium so I signed up for the subscription. Initially I was happy till I realized something, the info and in the panels doesn't update unless you open the facer app on your phone. I hadn't noticed this when the displays were tiny, but I finally got a face with the step “counter” prominently filling the middle of the watch, and the number didn't change. I opened the app and it jumped from 276 (where it had been for hours) to 3000+. And then stayed there till I opened the app again later. That seems to defeat the point of having the info displayed. If I'm happy with a static number, I could take a screenshot of my activity app summary page and use that as a watch wallpaper . Having said that, there are some cool designs, and it loaded onto the watch very easily. But I've cancelled my subscription .

Major issues. I feel like this app has a lot to offer but because it’s so buggy, it needs a lot of work. First off, trying to search through the explore page does not give me what I’m looking for. If I type in a search, I get nothing relative to what I’m searching for. Second, while searching, the pages tend to go blank. In order to find anything close to what I’m looking for, I have to click on a face that I’ve favorited and hope it has a tag I can click to find more of what I want. I’m not able to click on users I follow to see what faces have been added recently. I can’t imagine paying $60 for this. Right now, I wouldn’t even pay $6. There’s too much work that needs to be done and not one issue has been resolved.

Great app but needs help with browsing. When you scroll down a bit and choose a watch to add, after it takes you all the back to the top. It’s super Frustrating as you have to scroll down again where you left off. It’s annoying because there are so many choices and you scroll down a lot so when it takes you at the top again you have to start again. It does not save your last spot. Please fix!!! Also when you have the premium and you download premium face watch and you unsubscribe the complications will not update. It becomes useless unless you sign up again.

Buggy but much to like. This app has a lot of fun faces to add to your Apple Watch. I question why I would want to pay $60 a year for watch faces, so the premium tier is not for me. My biggest complaint is that the app itself is very buggy. Half the Explore menu often goes blank, meaning you can’t get to the rest of the categories. Trying to favorite a face sometimes means it goes into a loop. You have to force-close and reopen the app to restore it, and that sometimes has to be done more than once. But the most irritating thing is that when you choose a face to favorite it, you’re dragged all the way back to the top of that menu when you come out again. Please, programmers, add in some stability! I gave up on looking at the categories out of frustration. I will enjoy the few faces I did manage to choose before I gave up.

Nice app. Tons and tons of faces .. really nice ones , free and paid .. I never paid so those ones might work better .. my review is on free version … but the free ones are not worth it . I just deleted app after having for a year or so . Cause free faces although really really nice visually ,, dont work half the time .. I will look at my watch ,, and the date hasn’t changed in 3 days ,, or my steps will be off ,, the weather will be completely wrong ,, other then the time none of the other instruments work on the faces .. sometimes I would shut watch off turn back on then everything would work for a couple days or so , but like clock work (lol ! the irony) everything would quit working besides time again ..

Almost great.. When scrolling through several pages of watch faces, you select the one you like and go to look at it… when hitting the back arrow or swiping back it takes you to the very top of the page losing your spot. This is extremely frustrating if you’re several pages down and notates careless design. It doesn’t make me stay on your app longer, I turn it off and don’t search any farther down the page. Please fix this.

Faces. I like the app but I don’t like when you click on a design to get it after it’s downloaded to your watch and you go back to keep looking it takes you all the way back to the top. I just wish it would take you back to where you left off. Other than that it’s great!

Great app!. This app is great!!! It has a lot of cool watvc faces and I think it has very very very high potential! ❤️👍😊 But there’s just one problem. I’m really into a show called stranger things (sure you’ve heard of it) it’s about the girl with the mind powers and the monster takes the boy. Anyway,Facer does not have many stranger things watch faces. It has a few,but I would like some more! Thank u! Sobie

Has potential. There needs to be more ways to filter faces, by free and premium would be a great start. Also when you click on a watch face to look closer and then go back it brings you back to the top which can be super frustrating when you have scrolled pretty far down already. Make these changes and my rating will definitely change!!!!

i paid for premium and the app won’t even work. i paid for the premium as the designs in this app are INCREDIBLE. i want one so bad, the app keeps on wanting me to RE purchase premium in order to put the faces on my watch. when I switch over to the “profile” tab to restore my purchases, by the time i am back at the face that i want to download that app is telling me to start a free trial again. not to mention it won’t find my watch and there is zero section for help or advice on how to do so. someone from this app please reach out to me. so close, such an amazing concept but the app is litterally not working.

Terrible customer service. I only purchased this app for the grayscale 1989 Tetris face. The complications don’t work. I’ve sent customer service emails. I got a response asking me to update the app or reinstall it. I sent an email back stating I did that then never got a message back. It’s been months. Looking at the reviews of this watch face it looks like I’m not the only one who is having this problem. I would ask for a refund since this watch face the only reason I purchased the premiere subscription.

READ BEFORE DOWNLOADING!!Can’t tell if this is just spam or a scam. To be blunt this app masquerades as a watch face app when it’s really just a tool to collect emails addresses to sell to spammer/scammers. I can’t directly call this a scam app because it does provide new watch faces. However, the faces are buggy, take a while to appear and are often non-responsive when you try to interact with them. The reason I want to call this a scam and will call it spam is because within 24 hours of downloading and registering the app I started receiving an average of 45 spam emails a day. I hadn’t received more than three a day in the last three years, until this app was installed on my iPhone. Pretty easy to find a correlation between the two events. This as well as a weird email from Facer I got after I deleted the app are some glaring red flags. The fact that they make you pay to use the app in addition to selling your information to spammers/scammers pushes this into the near criminal company.

Was good until it stopped working. UPDATE 3/7/24 I reached out to the developer as stated as they replied to my review only to receive the exact same message as before. It is a known issue that they have not fixed for over 6 weeks now. DO NOT BUY PREMIUM IT HAS A CHANCE OF NOT WORKING. If anyone has been having issues with their watch faces not working you’re not the only one. Even as a premium user, my watch face complications will not work anymore. Reached out to the team and after numerous emails they finally admitted it was a known issue and that I would be placed on a list with others. Have been waiting for the promised update to this issue and the most recent release only addressed a minor bug issue? Why not work on the major issue first. What did I pay premium for?

Lots of fun faces. Easy to use and tons of free faces of every kind to choose from. I change my face frequently simply because I can. My only complaint is when you select a face it takes up to an hour to show up on your watch. Not sure why. I’m seeing lots of bad reviews on here all claiming this app has a lot of bugs but it seems as if that’s mostly the Apple Watch users. I have a Fossil watch and have no bugs at all. Another thing is it makes no sense to pay for the premium version when the free version has hundreds, or maybe even thousands of faces of every possible kind. Don’t waste your money on it.

Logging me out. It is good while it works…. But while I’m in the app it keeps logging me out. I’ll be scrolling through looking at the faces having already logged in and choose one only to be told I need to sign up for premium or log in AGAIN. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE. fix that. I should only have to log in once and not have to log in again. It’s really getting on my last nerve. Because I actually love all the options but it’s turning me off from the app slowly.

nOT working!!!!. I put had a subscription for this app 2wka ago and still unable to use it. I tris sending emails, joined forums, report problem to Apple to no avail. Someone responded with an apologies but nothing was done. I do t need just an apology!!! I need this app to work otherwise send me a refund!!!!

Don’t waste your money on premium subscription. Bought the subscription to have the flip clock face. It syncs for a few minutes then I just see Facer logo in the section not the complication. Utterly disappointed!!!

Waste of time!. Waste of time, I have done all the steps correctly but can’t get any further as I keep getting an error message - don’t do it!

Not for me. Sorry I don’t get why I need to register myself there. I also could not add face to my watch and can not get why if I indicated that I have watch series 6 then if I choose the face I like it goes only for series 7 and up. Really? Waste of time and money.

After recent update no faces work. None load properly after the latest Apple Watch update

The Real Deal. I actually though this was going to be a scam but it’s not. Technically the “faces” aren’t faces. They are complications design by faces which work with Infograph modular. Nevertheless, these complications are colourful, unique and very clever. Importantly, these complications do actually work. Steps go up, heart beat changes, calories change. They don’t update as regular as the standard Apple Watch calories and heart rate complications but the do work. There’s quite a few different faces to choose from to keep you happy. The “thousands” of faces are made up by wallpaper type faces. I had no trouble canceling my free subscription trial. In works the same as all other App Store subscriptions. Yes, you will have to continue paying to keep the faces. It’s not hugely expensive and subscriptions are unfortunately the way the App Store works these days. Unfortunately I d cant afford the subscription so I had to cancel. Nevertheless I thought the app deserved a decent review.

Very bad service!. Paid for a face. Had to change from Samsung phone to iPhone for work. Now will not let me redownload the face without going premium...

Ever changing and progressive. I love Facer. After having Magic Window on my Mac and iDevices, the watch face seemed monotonous. Facer makes the watch feel fresh by changing faces each time you look at your watch, and by choosing a completely new theme whenever you wish. Interesting and beautiful themes are always being added, so it's a question of what to choose next amongst a great selection. I can't rate Facer highly enough. Well done guys - your enthusiasm for your app shines through!!

Watch faces cost money! 👎🏻. All the Watch faces are premium and cost money. Deleted the app. No thank you.

Fossil Gen 6 - lots of faces. A large selection of faces, many free But the faces aren’t editable, as they are on other apps. Just being able to select complications would be a huge improvement There is a way of creating a face from scratch, but it needs a desktop computer. Would be great to be able to do this on the watch or phone app!

Enough is enough…!. This app may have started out as something reasonable but now it is an absolute joke…! Even the free faces now require other watch face apps to work and they have to be paid for. So what’s the point? How can you ask people to pay for this app when there’s no guarantee they wont have to go and buy another app to get the premium faces to work. If I could build my own watch faces with all the good custom complications all from this app, I’d probably consider paying for it but as it stands, it’s rubbish. Sorry…!

Doesn’t open!. App opens to launch screen, however will not allow me to select any face options or different tabs. Seems like a decent app, however couldn’t honestly say…

Money hungry. When I cancelled my subscription, I also lost all the complications from my watch face. I had sufficient watch faces, didn’t need to continue. Up until then, very happy.

Unhelpful, wont restore my purchase or refund me. Support taking days to get back to be each time I respond. I purchased a month premium but I was unable to access my account. Tried the password reset and it never sent me any emails. I made a new account and tried to “restore purchases” and it didn’t work. I sent my receipt to support and I’m just getting copy and paste responses telling me to do things I’ve already tried and the replies are days apart. They’re not reading my actual emails or helping me at all to access what I’ve paid for.

Great App for a fresh look!. Wonderful app to change up your watch faces from time to time! I particularly like the Unsplash & Superfamous photography faces, as it gives me great little insights into people's perspectives and photography talents! Really easy to setup and fun to use!

annoying. Can’t buy just one face. Search always goes back to the top meaning you have to scroll all the way to where you were up to. Cannot search for free faces.

Doesn’t work!. For weeks now users of the app have been complaining that it no longer works. Customer support claims they’re trying to fix the issue but can’t give us an idea when it will be working. Pointless.

Bait and switch. Purchase a watch face use it for months then have the terms change and be required to purchase a subscription to continue using all the faces I bought outright.

Suspect product. I purchased a a premium subscription in Nov 23 but now all of a sudden I am shut out. I have tried to make contact to have my problem fixed but you guessed it nothing but an automated reply “we will in touch shortly”. Really how Apple lets these people on to their platform is astonishing. Anyhow my advice to anyone thinking about taking out a subscription is don’t - this is not a reliable or high quality App and the customer support is non existent.

Apple Watch selection. I have an Apple Watch SE 2 and I can not find my Apple Watch on the list I have tried connecting it when I press the Apple Watch SE 1 but I can not find my watch please fix this. Also I can not go to skip the part where I have to pay for subscription I do not want to pay but I can’t get out of that screen PLEASE FIX THIS ISSUE.

Rubbish. Absolute Rubbish

Don’t waste your money. As soon as your subscription ends any faces you have downloaded gets locked. You have to subscribe for life if you want to keep any of the faces Rip off!

Needs more. Terrible range. Around or under 20 options, not that great and some aren't even free. Keep looking.

More.. Love how there is more options then the generic ones in the app itself for Apple Watch. But more needs to be added for tv & movies.

Not Free Anymore. I used to enjoy this app, but the faces are no longer free. I see comments about a subscription which I will not be paying for. At least bring back more free faces !

Not worth paying for. The cute faces are just photos, which you can easily create yourself. App keeps crashing, haven’t been about to use it for a while.

App Crash. I really use to like the app, but recently it seems to be crash or not working. I pick the Apple Watch I have and then nothing loads afterwards and is stuck in limbo. I try hitting the “X” at the top of the screen and that also doesn’t work. Not sure what is going on, hopefully it is fixed soon.

Click bate watch faces. Facer has some great ‘looking’ watch faces for Apple Watch 7 series, but it constantly nags you to open the app on your phone to refresh complications. If you want to track your steps this app is annoying as hell and often won’t update your step count at all. I just want 1 watch face with weather, steps, date, time that looks decent and works reliably. Facer won’t allow temperature to display in Celsius either. I only want to pay 1 time. I don’t want a subscription, just a simple reliable watch face. Anyone have good options? Do I need to create my own? Is this too much to ask?

Too expensive. Some of the designs caught my eye and I downloaded the app. I would probably pay for some of the faces individually, but to own not rent which is what this is. it’s not worth it (at least to me ) to rent “watch faces”.

Waste of $10. Show a bunch of fancy faces but when added they are just apples.

Buggy system. I bought the year subscription during the $19.99 promo but was charged $52.99(regular price). Next I find out that I do not have access to premium which you get with the subscription. I contact customer service and they tell me I need to check the account details. They said it was under a different email address which doesn’t make sense. Looks like I put in a different letter then what I meant to for a part of the address. Even though that happened, the email I put in doesn’t even exist! So I went ahead and created it to change the password on the account because I didn’t remember it (I have many pw’s and I tried every one). No email was going through for “I forgot my password”. I’m still waiting on an answer. Isn’t there supposed to be an email verification before you get charged? What if it’s an email that doesn’t exist? I’m pretty much thinking Ive wasted time and money on this.

Not great for people without premium and a newer watch. This app looks like fun, but 95% of the faces for Apple Watch require premium which sucks for some people, and I have a Series 3. That means there is only one watch face for people with a series 3 without access for premium, and it’s the basic watch face. This looks fun, but it can be super limited.

Cash grab Stay Away!!. Decent but not great. It’s a you pay monthly or you get none. Free ones are garbage. Give me a perpetual option or the choice to buy individual faces. I’m not interested in paying you guys almost the price of a new watch every two years. Has potential but it’s a huge cash grab. Until this is addressed I advise to look elsewhere. Edit: Came back to see if the developer is listening to the criticism and it’s clear they are not. Sort by most recent reviews and pay attention facer. This is far far too expensive per year. I refuse to spend another penny until it’s reduced or I can buy individual faces.

Nice faces…. Bad pricing. To pay monthly for a watch face is absurd. When I buy a watch, I buy one with a face that I like. Period. $0-$10 is what a watch face is worth, with few exceptions. There is no need for an ongoing charge.

Unusable Weather Complications. Avoid this app. Any of their watch faces that use temperature weather complications will NOT display the temp in Celsius (only Fahrenheit) if you live in Canada. The developers have told me directly that it’s a reproducible bug they’ve identified. That was over 6 months ago. They wrongly think it’s not a priority to fix it. They are wrong. The Watch faces, as nice as some are, are also expensive and really not worthwhile.

Fees are wild. I’m not paying $4 a month to subscribe. That just seems ridiculous. If anything, let me just buy each Face I’d like to use.

Disappointed / total cash grab. There’s very minimal faces that are free to use. The ones that are free are really boring/lame by comparison. Your only choice for premium(any that aren’t free) faces is a hefty monthly subscription. I wouldn’t recommend.

Angry. I just paid for it, only to discover that almost all the watch faces are for series 7 and up, but I have a series 6. There is no way to sort to only see what is compatible with my watch. I’ve been looking for at least 30 minutes and haven’t found anything compatible with my watch. Just got robbed I think…

Only adds a photo as background. Sorry, I don’t need the app to do something I can already do myself. It’s not easier or more intuitive - it’s pointless. And only the digital clock ? Meh…

Complications and Widgets Don’t Appear. I’m trying to fix the issue with tech-support, but so far no luck. I will update this if they fix the situation. I need more texts if I’m going to be able to send this but I don’t know how much I have to write to say that the app is currently not working.

Didn’t load faces. The app tried to load in faces for my series 9. Got a whoops. I suspect it could have been looking for my location!?! I have my VPN on. Removed app.

Weather display bug. overall its a decent app and the watchface selection is good, but there's a SERIOUS bug in the Temperature display setting. If you live in Canada, it won't show the current temperature in Celsius. It defaults to Fahrenheit, and no matter what, it won't switch over to Celsius. This is an *admitted* bug according to Facer, but they have NO timeline for fixing it. It's been months since it was reported and STILL nothiing from them. When it gets fixed, I'll change the rating. Until then, it's a one-star app at best.

Good but could be better. I like the faces but when you touch the screen it refreshes the face and then it just sits on the Facer logo till you press the crown it’s annoying

Garbage stole my money doesn’t work. I have paid for the yearly subscription at $52.99 I have until April and subscription the app has stopped working. I have used this for over a year and a half so this is ridiculous. Such a waste of money now that I can’t even use the last 4 months because it won’t even open on the app. I can’t change the face of my watch because there’s nothing to choose from the blank page that says “Whoops can’t find what you’re looking for” store unavailable. so basically, I am stuck with the watch face I have and have had for over three months now because I can’t even use the app that I’ve paid for. Garbage absolute garbage.

Looks good. None of the faces work on series 3. Downloaded the app and none of the faces worked on series 3. Always got an error message saying that the faces were not available for my device. So if you are using this on a later model I watch I would test at first.If there is series 3 compatible faces there is no filter to help you get those.

Was a good app, now ripping people off. Paid for premium subscription can't access premium features, those payments sure go through tough. Contacted customer support multiple times just to get no support at all after a generated message saying they got your message. STAY AWAY! **update** all they are doing is sending the same response to everybody about sending more info and screenshots as if they don't know the problem 🚮

I’d be happy to buy watch faces, but insane to rent them.. Was excited when I heard Facer would let me install third party watch faces on my new (and first) Apple Watch. Pretty amazed and crushed when I saw the developer wants me to pay $5 a month to rent a watch face. Holy crap, something that you only see in the Apple ecosystem. I’d be happy to buy a watch face from them, but that doesn’t seem to be an option. The few free faces didn’t appear to do anything and not anything I’d use. Very disappointed.

Faces won’t work for my watch anymore. I used to find all kinds of watch faces for my watch. I have the series 3 and I haven’t found one even compatible for my watch.

Lacks a watch face editor.. This app is great for more customized watch face options, but the ones you can make yourself are only limited to the website, which doesn’t entirely work on mobile either. A built-in editor would really be a big game changer, to make watch faces on the go.

Won’t work with newest Apple Watch and iPhone 15 plus.. Don’t waste your money. Doesn’t sync with newest IPhone 15 or newest iWatch 9. Tried all the help suggestions and doesn’t work. Submitted a ticket but no one has gotten back to me.

Glorified photo face. It’s just a copy of the iOS photo face. You download images from the app and use them on the watch. Lot of great photos but nothing you couldn’t find with a web search. The other options are subscription based which may be good but your “free” version should draw you in. I was not willing to take the leap based on the iOS knock off I saw.

Faces are good.. Look, this review isn’t bad, but it isn’t good either… I think all of the faces in Facer are awesome! Only one problem though. None of them are compatible with Series 3 Apple Watch, which is what I have. I cannot get barely anything! Beware if you have Apple Watch 6 or below. I have an Apple Watch 6. The app says it’s compatible, and even has you select your watch series when you first open the app. But then almost every face I clicked on in the gallery was for Apple Watch 7+. I finally found ONE that worked on my watch. After paying $40. No way to contact their customer service.

Cool but cost is too high to justify. Really awesome faces and very easy to use, nothing complicated when adding a face to your Apple Watch. I love that. The monthly price is too high to justify for me personally. Lots of nice free faces and most of the premium(paid) faces just don’t stand out enough to justify a $4.99 monthly cost. $1.99 a month instead? Yes. For now, I will keep using the free faces but the cost should be lower, or the premium faces should be more unique and cool to justify that much a month.

Free stuff and allows you to buy premium faces.. Easy to navigate. Does not force to buy but gives you the option to purchase top product faces. Massive selection.

I had such high hopes…. I find it hard to believe that I happen to pick the 6 different faces that don’t sync properly. There is zero chance that I will pay for premium when the standard version doesn’t work as advertised. I also sent screen shots to the developers of course crickets there. I had high hopes but alas left with disappointment.

Misleading App Store description. The description in the App Store says this product is free but with in-app purchases. But the free version does nearly nothing. So realistically this is a $5 app. Which is fine, and isn’t an unreasonable price if you want access to lots of watch faces. I just wanted to make a simple customized face though and the price seems high for that, so it would be nice if the app hadn’t wasted my time by falsely claiming to be free.

No idea why this app is rated this high. Complete trash and purely an attempt to squeeze money out of people. I could understand maybe putting a 1-time purchase on a watch face, but purely subscription-based...? For a watch face?! No thank you. Also, PLEASE read the "Most Recent" reviews; They mention a lot of bugs and info not updating unless the app is open... And don't fall for the "Developer Responses" as they are all the same thing and lack any significance, meaning, or relevance.

Not enough complication variety. I’ve been disappointed by the options so far. The same complications are used over and over so I can’t get what I need. There also needs to be an option to search by complications so you can see faces that will fit your needs instead of hoping you just come across one. More makers need to use Schedule (not just date), timer, and messages.

Easy to use. This app is very simple to use! Once you create an account, all you have to do is tap the design you want. Because it was designed FOR Apple Watch, it loads seamlessly. Great selection!

Ridiculous. Honestly, I don't like this app at all. It costs an insane amount of money for some mediocre watch faces. A lot of them are outdated, cringy and look like a Facebook mom made them. And those are the faces that are premium! The free faces are terrible. It's literally the exact same thing as if you took one of your own pictures on the apple watch app and made it your background. Terrible. Please do not listen to the adds and download this app.

Facer. At first I couldn’t get Facer to work correctly with my phone. So I gave up for 6 months. That was until they charged me for my yearly premium plan and I attacked the problem again. Finally got it working and I love it.

Scam - Reported to Apple. Like everyone else, I was charged a higher price per month than advertised, and still had problems getting premium faces. However, less than one day after getting my account to activate, I received a phishing message on my watch ONLY. It appeared to come through Apple’s Messages, but the text was not on any other iCloud device…only my watch. Deleted immediately and requested refund.

Can you make money?. I have some faces that I have created that they are charging for now and have been download it over 5000 times Is there no way to get a commission because they’re charging for my designs.

Unsatisfied. I bought the app because it said I could get multiple faces for my Apple Watch. However, every time I tried to download one, it would tell me I was not able to. The only thing I could do was download backgrounds. I was very disappointed because I could not change to face of watch as advertised which was the whole reason why I bought the app. Needless to say it was pointless so I ended the subscription and deleted the app…

Amazing app but. I just wish that when I press the Back button after viewing a face, it would stop taking me back to the top of the page. I would love it to take me back to where I was in the scrolling instead of making me scroll all the way back through to get to where I was.

Good App love it!. I do love the app bit was wondering why if I’m paying monthly I am not able to get the premium faces my question is do we half to pay yearly to get all the faces including the premium faces. What’s the difference between if your paying yearly or monthly as your still paying to be able to use the app and the watch faces? That’s the only reason I gave it three ⭐️ stars ⭐️

App is cool but….. App has cool faces with interesting complications. However… they only update and are active whenever they feel like. The complications work the day it’s downloaded and then even after multiple refreshes they’re just stuck. And randomly, days later they will work again. Having paid for the subscription, this is really unacceptable. I didn’t pay for looks. I paid for things to work.

The X button. When I first got the app it took me to this screen. It was the “Buy premium” screen. There was an X button at the top and it wouldn’t let me press it. Long story short I jus ended up deleting the app because the only screen it took me to was the dumb “Buy premium” screen. We tried signing in, making an account, deleting the app and getting it again etc. I don’t want to pay for it.

Not Getting What I Paid For. I paid for the premium, shows under my subscriptions that I have a premium plan and that it’s good until next November but it won’t let me sync to the premium plan and if I try to download a watch face, it tells me I need to purchase premium again. Super frustrating.

Annoying and frustrating. I rarely give something 1 or zero but this app frustrates me so much. I thought I would be having fun adding fresh new faces. I have a new series 8 watch and so far every face I use from this app doesn’t work properly. It doesn’t sync or it un syncs (is that a word) and you have to try to get it to work again and it’s so annoying and a complete waste of time. I was dumb and purchased the annual membership. Do lost 15 bucks with this trash app. Save yourself the headache.

Would be fantastic…. If the refreshing complications weren’t so buggy. All of the faces I've tried, most only refresh complications like 25% of the time. And it’s not consistent from one to another which complication is problematic, so it gets very frustrating. Have emailed customer service to get a response 1 week later asking my watch type and phone, only to never have a further response for troubleshooting. So poor cust service.

One small request…. I’m loving this app and I am publishing watch faces frequently but the one problem is that I can’t see how many syncs my watch faces have got. It would be extremely great if we could get that feature in the great app.

Buggy, slow, very slow response from developer.. This app, as a Premium user, should be very responsive. Instead it lags as you wait for it to change from one watch face back to main pages. Also, it is often unclear which face works with which model. And once chosen, not all the complications work. Seems like a good idea when it works.

Great faces, complications won’t update. I was really excited for this and didn’t even mind paying the exorbitant monthly sub for it but the complications on any of the faces for series 6 would not update. Absolutely will not pay $5 bucks a month for an app gives the time and date correctly, but everything else is completely random.

Ripped off again. I had this app and from day one I could not use it. Kept saying I already had an account and could not restore it. So $40 lost. Then a year later I did try again thinking maybe it was fixed. Nope they took another $40 and again won’t let me use it. I tried their support and they could not fix it. Also did not offer to return the money. This is a scam.

Widgets are non-functional. Tapping/selecting any widget provided by Facer prompts you to change said widget and completely obscures the watch face. Super impractical. No way to disable this feature much less make things like weather widget actually open the weather app instead of Facer. I assume there is a limitation to what you can do on an Apple Watch but all this would’ve been good to know before I paid for a subscription

Premium account doesn’t work. I paid for the subscription. It worked alright for a bit. The faces don’t update. Then I got sign out of my account. I asked for a new password request via email. They never sent the email. So I made a ne account with the same email but it’s not my premium account. This doesn’t make sense and I can’t find any custom service to help. I’d like a refund or just some freaking help. Frustrating!!!

App is broken. App doesn’t work. After finding a watch face that I like, I hit the blue sync button but I jumps to safari and says "This website is trying to download a face for Apple watch. Do you want to allow this?" I hit Allow and then it says "Safari cannot download this file". I have restarted the phone, uninstalled and reinstalled the app. Same results. Update- I have sent 3 emails and no valid responses on how to resolve the issue.

Download Modular whatever That Means?. I downloaded the App, obviously bought it, and when I try to add a face watch to my watch, it’s saying I have to download something modular so I can continue to the app click open and it’s just a repeated process. It won’t let me get the watch face to my actual watch????

Total RipOff. Facer loves to charge for premium services, over and over, but is unable to update the app you download or any of its watch faces or purchase history. While the faces look good when you shop and download them, they don't work properly on your watch without getting the premium service and the service doesn't work. So sadly, this an application to AVOID despite the reviews. If the company gets this mess fixed, I will revise my review.

Faces don’t all work. I have the 7 and the faces are nice but they would be way better if they worked it does not show your stats or any of the other parts other than the battery percentage And the weather any other widget on the screen does not work even with all permissions given these would be awesome if everything work that was on the screen

Rerate. I had left a very poor rating days ago as I thought the process of being sent to Apple for an overcharge was questionable. Seems this is the process and Facer has made everything right. Very pleased with this app. Recommend!

$60 a year? You’ve gotta be kidding me.. The developers, who do you think you are to charge $60 a year for 2-3 developers product? Adobe Creative Cloud which employees thousands of developers is only a few times more. Aren’t you a bit too greedy? Your terms of service do not provision any refund for nonfunctional watch faces, but you still charge. I’m surprised no one noticing that, stay away from these people and their company. This garage business should not be supported at all.

No support and premium not working. I purchased this all a little over a month ago and paid for the premium subscription. The premium subscription stopped functioning; I’ve been attempting to get some type of resolution but their customer support is lacking. If you can’t support the product, don’t sell it. I’m still waiting for a response or a refund since it’s not functioning.

The Best!!!. Love this app. I can create my own look easily as will as picking out designs. Application is a breeze. Adding faces to my watch has never been easier. Purchase the the premium, it's worth it❤️

Great except for…... I don’t understand why you have to put digital time on every face. There are some really nice analog watch faces, but when you put whatever complications on them, you have to have the digital time and date right through them. Ruins the nice analog screen

The only Quality smart watch faces with so many faces. This app is perfect if you like to change your Smart watch screen. The creators of these faces for your watch is astounding at the quality and the depth of inspiration.

Not for older watches. I would leave a higher rating, but there is no way to filter the faces by the series of watch. I have a series 1, and I have no way to filter out any faces that will not work on my watch. I spent the last hour going through every face in a category and being told it’s not available for my series. It would save a ton of time if I could filter out certain series in a search or category.

Disappointing. I looked up things about custom watch faces, and I was excited to try this app out because the website had pretty good things to say about Facer. Heavily disappointed for two reasons: I can’t make my own watch face other than the one super basic preset, that’s a “premium” feature. I can’t download at lot of the nice ones because again, premium or plus. I understand revenue is important, but come on.

A little disappointed. Let me start by saying I LOVE Facer. When I first started using it EVERYTHING was free. Now it seems that everything is premium. I still enjoy the faces I can get for free, and may someday break down and pay for premium. Super easy to use and overall I’m happy with the app, I’m just cheap....

I love the massive selection. I’m really enjoying the wide selection of new faces for my SE watch. But please the app so when you are scrolling, then select a face to look at, and go back, it doesn’t go all the way back to the top of the list of faces on the screen!!!

This app works great! Real person with real review!. It was a little but to set up step wise but it is totally easy and once you get it changing your watch face is so EASY. They have a ton of free ones from categories that other apps don’t have and it’s free! 5/5 would recommend.

Great variety and affordable. Great variety of watches, I love the variety of faces available along with the numbers of beautiful 4K resolution, photos and graphics, which you can customize on your Apple watches. I have the Apple series 6 and there’s an amazing amount available.
