Wasted. This is a joke you can't play back recording the layout is lame and overdone to make it seem special this is a waste of money I'm requesting a refund !

Can't copy to pasteboard. I updated to the newest version and it won't let me copy to pasteboard

Very good app!!!!. Very nice sounding app But please fix it so it will work with Alesis io Dock..when using it with the io Dock it gets a lot of noise. Update. Well I opened this app again to give it a second try and it is now working very well do not know what caused the earlier problem but it sounds great now.

Audio quality stunning, features good, needs some tweaks. This is a great app right out of the starting gate. I use it for practicing my intonation and just enjoying the ambience. The Just vs. Equal temperament setting is fantastic. Possible improvements: The recording button needs to be more available (eg when keyboard is visible) plus they really need to add playback capability (and overdub, I hope) The auto-harmony is not as good as improvox (e.g should understand melodic minor) and a chord map (shredder) would be nice; but again, this app has superior audio quality! Thanks!

Waste of money. I'd ask for my money back and return it if I could. It doesn't read my iRig pre nor the iPad mic. Thought it was the set up but GarageBand and other apps working just fine. This app is useless.

This app is a must for harmonies!. I was insecure about vocal apps, especially harmonization apps like this one because in the PC/Mac world, they cost a LOT. So I approached this with hesitation especially with its low price. Man, was I in for a treat! Harmonization in this app in fantastic, the different ways of doing harmonizations make it easy for you to select the best one for your composition. For example, you can leave the app to select the proper harmony by selecting the preferred key, or use the keyboard to make your own harmonizations. It has very good effects section and now it has Audiobus and IAA! You can harmonize voice and even route other synths or instruments through and harmonize. Look, this is a very capable harmonizer and I put it on the top of my list of vocal apps, for what you pay, it cannot be beat. If you like this check out their other voice app, iVoxel. That one is fantastic too.

works... kinda. so the pitch correction and formant shift, which they call "gender" seems to work fine with a clear enough input signal. other than that, not very practical. harmonies aren't always exactly in key as explained in previous reviews. same goes for minor keys, certain notes aren't correct. the harmony mixer could be better if each pitch had its own volume control instead of the joystick type mixer. there is an issue of audio cutting out and not returning until key following is changed back and forth. i have attempted to contact the developers for help addressing the issue, but they have failed to make any attempt to respond. perhaps they are done with this app. so for now i have a pitch corrector and formant shifter and not much else described or promised in the description. will be looking for something better soon or just stop being lazy and get back to antares or melodyne on the pc. i was very let down by the lack of feedback from the developers and was tempted to give one star, but decided to be generous because as a pitch corrector, it does provide a pretty decent sound, as long as i can find the right key or just use the chromatic setting.

I didn't like it before the update.... This is not in any way a real, usable harmony generator. It does something, and it is harmony related, but you couldn't use this in any kind of realistic musical setting. It is robotic at best, and just muddy and crappy sounding in general.

Love it!. I waffled on getting this or not getting it based on some of the comments. I finally decided to buy it and am really glad I did! I use it as an IAA effect from my DAW and it works great. I am running an iPhone6+. I added some harmonized "do-do-dos" to my latest Beatles cover recording and they sound GREAT!! Love it!

Fantastic Update. The developers pretty much addressed all of the feature improvements that were suggested by myself and other users. Now that's what I call top shelf development. Thanks guys. Keep up the fantastic work!!!!

Old version was better!. Please restore the old version! This new update makes the sound terrible and is very unstable! The old version was perfect. So disappointed with this update.

Latest iOS update made this unusable. I updated to iOS 8.1.x and this app no longer accepts sound. Re-downloading app did not resolve.

Just...Horrible. Harmony Voice doesn't run in Audiobus without horrible sounding glitches, especially on a sample rate of 128! Also this app doesn't let you save a preset, why not??? Stay clear from this developer until he takes us Consumers and the apps we use more seriously. Barely 1 Star!

Pretty cool on iPad not sure on iPod. I'll definitely have fun with this but on my iPod 5g I cannot select anything but chromatic under the pitch tab/Harmony. Not a problem on iPad 4g. Just want the same flexibility when I just have iPod at practice and I/we have a little difficulty figuring out a part for harmony. Also would like an editable favorites tab.

Great app within its scope!!. This took me all but 5 minutes to figure out and go through all the cool features. The review about not figuring out how it plays didn't read the simple "info" bubbles that tells you where to go. The mic automatically plays and harmonizes what it hears, so no "play" button needed, which is great cause this creates less latency and an extra step! Only four stars cause most the scale progressions sounded the same (i.e. Pentatonic to 4th interval or Lydian), and I haven't yet tried out how compatible it is to add to other music production software such as my Logic Pro or GarageBand. Hopefully it will, but the app in itself is awesome!!!

Was used for the little droid voice in new Star Wars film. It's too cool to describe . And is still an amazing design tool used in major motion pictures!see? iOS synths are here to stay! peace Christo

I assisted wrong.... I thought this was gonna be an app where you can record multiple tracks of your own voice and make ur own harmonies but I guess not. From reading alot of comments I guess ur able to kinda do that with the key board but its not the same. I guess I just don't know how to use it yet. Oh well

Fake voices. I would like my money back please.. I've been playing with this app for around 2-3 hrs and it just doesn't matter how I move the tune, the gender or the other tunnings, all the voices still sound like cockroaches or squarrels. I wasn't looking to play with funny sounds, I thought this was going to be something more serious to get some real choir voices but no, I just wish I could get my money back. Nothing but just an expensive funny voice FX app.

Current version broken. It’s a nice app, but in its current state it only partially works. I only hear 2 of 4 voices. I emailed the dev. If it gets fixed, I’ll revise this review. I hope it does get fixed.

Great app!!!!. Really loving this app, been with VirSyn since my early days using fruity loops as my main DAW. They are very reputable for making great vst and didn't hesitate getting this app. This is their 5th app on the iOS and i have every one and really think they are great apps for making music. I'm using it right now with harmony and my IRIG mic and loving the hell out these recordings I'm making. The price to me is very cheap considering how much I use to pay for some vst to get the same results. Thanks VirSyn for helping me with your great vst and seeing the future in mobile mobile music apps. You would think this is a plug but just glad to see these great apps coming from companies who pretty much started this on the computers inside digital audio workstations.

Not fully baked. Overall, not very user friendly. Record/playback is crude at best. The is no indication of which track is playing back. Could use wifi transfer. Could not get clipboard to work. Transfers over Soundcloud are tedious. Metronome is always on by default...why"

Worthless. Where do I begin.....freezes, harmony type selected is different from one displayed, doesn't follow midi input, support is a ghost

Pretty Good. A little hard to learn at first, but once I got the hang of it, it is fairly easy to use and exactly what I was looking for. Makes good harmonies and allows you to influence the presence of each part (though the default settings are less than desirable) and not only makes it simple to mix parts, but allow yourself to be louder or softer. Overall, complicated at first, though after playing with it for a little while, a great tool.

I have something to say. Can you record a song and listen to your recording ?

User unfriendly. I purchased this thinking it would be a great app. Well I am very disappointed. It only works when it wants to and the harmony part rarely works. A waste of my money. Too bad i cant get a refund!

Only needs audiobus and customizable scales. Really great sounds with this. It comes with a list of scales for the autotune, but I would definitely prefer the ability to make a custom scale like animoog for example has. Getting this in the effect slot of Audiobus would be extremely awesome. Seems to work very smoothly and if it added the two above requests, it,d deserve much more attention than it seems to be getting. 5-stars from me!

needs fixing!. I really wishh I could give this app 5 stars because it reallyy is awesome; however, there are parts of the app that just DO NOT work as described. 1 - if you record something in the app it says that you can "access the recorded audio in the ITunes file sharing window." this simply DOES NOT WORK. whatever you record never shows up in the window even after restarting the app 2 - the keyboard function DOES NOT WORK on my ipad 2 with an iOS that is supported (very disappointing) I would love to give it 5 stars because the parts if the app that work are so cool, but please fix and UPDATE!

Doesn't work on 5.1.1 either. This used to work at one time but stopped working for whatever reason and I just updated it this morning and it still produces no sound after the update. Apparently this developer has just abandoned this project.

good!. I've been using this since 2015 and I actually really like it! I specifically love Kraehenbuehl the most, but recently I did a phone restart and lost all of the different filters in the top left bar :( is there any way to get that back?

Bought all your apps and very angry. I was dedicated to buying your apps but I realize that you don’t seem to care about some of the older ones. They’re not size for the larger iPhones and in some cases have serious bugs. If you’re going to keep selling them and promoting new ones to those of us who have invested are hard money, Do the honorable thing and update the apps

how do you make it play?. After an hour of trying, I give up. I pressed the record button and it started recording. The second press is supposed to stop the recording. But it won't stop! I tried quitting and restarting ... the recorder just runs on. Nor is there a "play" button anywhere that I can see. So how do you make it play back what you've recorded? This app is complicated enough that it needs some instruction. The minimal "this button does this action" notes are not enough.

This App is a Toy Until Updated. There are apps for serious musical work (studio or live performance), and apps for playing around with. This one is fun to play with, but can’t be used until it allows a few basic features such as: - ability to save and recall presets - background audio support (so app doesn’t have to be in the foreground to work) - audio panning (for harmonies and fx), so user could send either hard L or R - harmony volume/mix levels (supported for fx only currently) Beyond that, MIDI control and support would be nice.

Crashing. It needs an update. i just bought it and can't even open it because it keeps crashing.

Should’ve listened to the reviews. I should’ve listened to all these reviews before mine. This app simply doesn’t work. When I hit record and started singing, I didn’t hear any harmonizing. Okay, maybe you have to save it and play it back? Maybe it doesn’t do it in real time. So I save the file. The file doesn’t save to the app itself. There’s no way to open the file in the app. I had to google where it went. I found it on a file on my phone. And like all the reviews before stated, you cannot open the audio file. It immediately crashes the app. So I could never even play it back to see if the harmony was added. Legit robbery.

Terrible Now with New Update. 👎👎👎👎👎😤😤😤😡😡😡😡😡😡 Wow. What a shame. This app, as of yesterday and before I updated it, was amazing. I don't know what happened but now it's absolutely terrible. The harmony sounds like a bunch of pitchy backup singers. It's awful. Is there any way to revert to the old app? Goodness, this app has just gone entirely down the drain.

It does not support Bluetooth anymore. Before i was able to send the signal to my Bluetooth speakers but not anymore. Please fix this.

Wow.. I hope the creator of this app chokes on the 7 dollars I just paid. I wouldn't keep this if it were free! Trash app.

Pretty, pretty, pretty, pretty bad. Pitch all over the place. Keyboard input erratic. Gender controls random. Why is there a bass note when I’m specifying only soprano? Who knows. After much trial and error my advice to a real, working musician would be, if you need something like this, invest in a pedal.

CAGG. I love this app! There is only one suggestion, there should be a way to change the key of the song! If that is added, it would be the complete package! Hope you guys take this into consideration.

This is top of the line processing!. This makes the other vocal processing apps look and sound like toys. Really solid release. It would be nice to be able to audio paste a mix to record vocals against, but the iTunes library will work also for now. It is really nice to see quality apps coming from Virsyn!

Distorted sound ruins app for me.. While using this app with audioshare, I experience too much unintended distortion to just pass it off. It's very disappointing that this app is $5 which is costlier than some better apps and yet its proving itself inferior. If the designers can fix this, I would rate it a 5 thats how much the distortion ruins it for me.

Disappointing. Such a good idea needs a lot more development the latency is a problem. Only slow one note melodies are harmonised.

Really solid vocal app for the money. I got this when they added audiobus for improved vocal and harmony effects recording into garageband/meteor/Cubasis. It is far superior to any of the effects you get by default in those apps and a good deal for $9.99. There is probably a higher quality reverb, or chorus, or delay on the App Store, but this is more than adequate for good recording quality. It works well, it's not too complex to pick up, and it sounds realistic. Best value on the store for those looking to add improved vocal processing effects to their recording projects on IOS. I know, I have just about everything that is available. No brainer.

Excellent. Luv this app, but is there a way to have a playback in the settings. Some people don't have a computer so listening to what was previously recorded is hard to find. Unless someone knows where to go. I feel I'm singing songs yet can't find to share or re play back to review! Help please!!!??!!

Summer of 66. Really good app with all kinds of useful bells and musical whistles. While the new version(3...) has some improvements, I thought that version 2 was better overall. Could you consider making the "Harmony Classic Version" available also? I would gladly pay for the earlier version if it was available again. It would be useful to have both versions on my iPad at the same time.

Secret weapon. I purchased Harmony Voice to use as an Inter App Audio insert effect in Cubasis. I wasn't expecting too much from it, given that it's inexpensive (and I'm used to the quality of the pitch shifting FX available in Cubase for PC) but when I fired it up - wow. It works, and works well. Don't be fooled by the vaguely childish interface: there's a LOT of power in this app. OK, the documentation is a bit sketchy and you really need to learn its capabilities by touching and tweaking everything. It's had some recent updates, which is always a good sign that the developer is interested in evolving the product. Yes, there are other harmony generator apps out there (I've tried them all) but if you need a natural sounding, low latency 4 part harmony generator with FX and MIDI control, this is the app for you. Why it hasn't garnered more attention, I don't know, but for now it's my secret weapon. Lots of fun. Recommended.

Unusable. This app is totally non-intuitive. Even after reading the manual at the developer’s website I cannot use the app. Total waste of money. Do not buy.

Voices. Fantastic app...it does the job well. Please fix the voices side, it has interchanged otherwise 5 stars

Good value. This actually sounds a lot better than the crappy pitch shifter that's bundled with my Sonar software. It's fairly straight forward to use and mix in harmonies and then save the presets. Any files you record are accessible in iTunes where you can grab them and put them into a DAW station. The fx sound quite good and the vocal harmonies also sound pretty good. For the money, it's a lot. My only complaint would be in retrieving files and playing them back - I would love to see some more clearly defined Play/stop buttons rather than tapping on a file name. If navigation was just a little clearer it would be 10 out of 10.

Great idea... Wait for V2.0 or even 3. The features sounded great but the quirks and inconsistencies make this app pretty much unusable: recording playback very rarely works, file rename has yet to work, metronome tempo change is inaccurate and is sometime unresponsive... I've been trying to like this app because the intention seems worthwhile but the build quality is too poor to keep my enthusiasm up. Disappointing.

Completely unaccessible for voiceover users. It’s extremely upsetting that I purchased this app but I am unable to use it because I am a voiceover user. It would be appreciated if you could fix this issue and let me know that it’s fixed as I purchased this app.

Disappointing. I was excited to try this app after watching YouTube videos that demo it. But the effect quality that I am getting is far inferior to what I heard in the demos. To make things worse, when I use it on AudioBus with GarageBand, I can't monitor the effect as I hear only the dry signal. When I use the app standalone, it is very hit-and-miss whether the effect glitches or not (where I mean frequent dropouts in the effect).

Sounds Like Corporate Dog Water. Before the update, this app lived on every iOS device I own. Now? crAPP.

Not working at.all.. Nothing.imported song "spins" like a record, but no sound. "Hears" my voice, bit no audible response. Volume is fine because metronome sound plays, but otherwise nothing. Waste of money

Plz Fix. The Popping Noise-I thought it might be cause Volume turned up til I turned it almost off and it still does it-And today the Whole App Skips in a way Where You gwt Ready to Sing and It goes out then back in.Thank You

Had potential but...save your money. This would have been great if it was better integrated to work with other music apps like GarageBand. Copying to clipboard yields poor results. Moreover, the app goes a bit haywire when you try to listen to what you've just recorded, and then you can't stop it...which leads to multiple "plays" of your recording which again you can't stop. The only way you can get it to stop is to exit the app by double home button presses and swiping (iOS7). Very disappointed and feel like I wasted $10.
