Best equalizer app I've ever had. I use this app everyday on my iPod. It sounds great with my headphones and in my car. No issues with this app at all. I like how it saves the queue every time I exit and re-enter it. Out of every equalizer app I've had, I would have to say this one is the best. I would definitely recommend it. *UPDATE* Still a perfect app, but I had to restore my iPod(4th gen.) and now I have to purchase the actual equalizer. Any idea why? I didn't have to buy it before, but that was 2 years ago.

Great sound app. Great sound EQ. Although I am not sure why it is using so much cell data when all my music is local device and I don’t use steaming. I had to turn off data for this app.

VERY angry loyal user!!!. Just like others are experiencing, I too am having the restore Equalizer issue. There is nothing that makes me more angry than my plane taking off and I have to purchase in flight wifi for TEN DOLLARS every time I pick up my iPhone and open this app just to use the equalizer that I've already paid for!!!! I would DEFINITELY steer clear of this application until this is resolved. There are other applications that use the near exact 1,000 band (near infinite point EQ engine that this application uses) - and believe me.. Using Sennheiser Momentums and Polk Ultra Focus 8000 headphones, this is by FAR the best equalizer applet I've found. I'm an avid traveler (4-6 flights per week) and always looking for a better sounding application. To top things off there's NO direct support to speak to anyone about this issue. Tapping the website support link in the application takes you to Denon's website knowledge base that has nearly any information on the iOS application. Hope this review was informative.

Thank you!!!. My iPhone5 went quiet and I couldn't get the volume on my music to play properly. It bothered me because a lot of my music sounded better at different volumes. Downloaded denon and it plays perfectly! Sound quality is rocking. I can enjoy my music again!! Thank you thank you!!!

Great EQ, music library/player and radio. I REALLY love this app. It’s got a solid, great sounding and easy-to-use EQ with presets, plus the ability to save your personal settings. I love the ability to create a queue of music I want to hear (the same way you pick the music you want to hear on a jukebox), whether it’s a song, an album, or the entire library. I can also create and save playlists. LOTS of radio stations and podcasts (featuring music, arts, news, sports, etc) from countries and languages all around the world. I can even hear my local AM/FM stations. The player also displays the current artist and song info when available. Please don’t change this app, Denon. It’s feature packed and perfect.

Still the best for queue management, but desperately needs to be updated. This is still the best music app if you want to put a bunch of songs (or, especially, playlists) into a playback queue and let it go. The stock music app's Up Next feature is useless in this regard, as it will only insert selected tracks or playlists after the current song. So the Denon app is indispensable if you manage your music the way I do. Updates needed: - Support newer devices with larger screens - Support the iTunes feature that allows you to associate artwork with a playlist - An iPad-friendly app would be nice as well, instead of having a blown-up iPhone app on the larger screen

Too much latency...skips like 45RPM vinyl.... I liked the customizable EQ settings (when it worked) but it crashed after iOS8 update and lost all my EQ settings that I worked so hard to establish. IN ADDITION, it's a DISGRACE to the Denon name and Apple should remove it from the app store: 1) Too much latency between tracks when using the FWD or REV buttons. 2) Skips like a 45RPM vinyl record when running it along with Facebook... 3) When using 'add all' command, it loads the songs in alphabetical order rather than how they appear on the CD/digital download...(personal preference) 4) The share on Facebook feature doesn't work... I have to use the share on Twitter option instead... 5) Sometimes crashes and randomly forgets that I purchased the upgrade or turns the EQ switch off...

Easily the best EQ app available. I've tried over 15 different equalizer apps; this one is my favorite by miles. I get a warm, rich, detailed sound quality that I don't get with any other app, no matter how I set the levels. I've had the Denon EQ since I got my first iPhone in 2010. I simply cannot live without it. I recently got a pop-up message stating the app will not be compatible with iOS11... If that is true, then I hereby beg Denon to please, please, please update the app before the new iOS comes out. Thanks.

DOES NOT WORK WITH ITUNES MATCH. Unfortunately this app does not seem to work with iTunes Match, this is a deal breaker for me and that's sad, manyother apps have seamless integration with itunes match, i think they made this app and then abandoned it. I love the layout, but there's no way I'm going to use my iPhone's bunky music app to pre download music. This seems like the best player other than this, but it seems like I'm stuck with ecoute or groove until they make that work, please pls pls pls fix this! I want to love this app!

Andrew Jackson 59. Great app! Don’t know why it is getting poor reviews, far superior to the Apple app. Use it every day, and love it. Just takes a bit of learning the app, but works for what I want. A little cheesy to need to by the EQ app to go with it, but quality development costs, so what’s a couple bucks! Great job Denon!

Totally recommend it. It had totally replaced the default apple music app for this great equalizer. It gives you complete access to play all the music from your library, including playlists but with a way more professional look. It includes a practical equalizer which is a main feature and a potential way to improve the sound of your music. You can also choose which song will be played next, add more songs and you'll eventually create a playlist right in the moment. Very reliable, never crashes, top quality. Very satisfied.

Absolute garbage. This would be an excellent player with a great equalizer if the Denon programmers had done a minimum of quality control. They didn't, and because of that every single day this app tells me that I have to either buy or restore the equalizer that I already paid for. Sometimes this happens while I'm driving, and I use my phone connected through Bluetooth audio to the car's stereo, so many days I can't listen to music because of this extremely buggy app. Do yourself a favor and buy an app that works instead.

Just awesome!. Now approaching iOS 15, all I can say is that I continue to be very grateful to the developers behind this app. If you have any type of hearing loss or abnormality, you need to start listening to your audio through this app. If you’re blessed with great hearing, this is the best app for correcting audio engineers’ biases. I just installed the 64-bit version via the App Store. It's a great day. 😁 No, really, thank you to the Denon team. I have been using this app almost daily for several years now. It's tied as my favorite app with two, maybe three other apps. My only complaint is that sometimes, rarely, I have to shut it down completely (tap home button twice and swipe up) to get it to play clearly again. For what you get by having this app, a totally acceptable quirk. I was honestly afraid that Denon was abandoning this app and that, when iOS 11 was pushed, it would be obsolete. There is no substitute for this app. All the professional reviewers say the same, this is the premium EQ app available today.

An abject piece of garbage. I was shocked by this one. I wanted and still want an EQ for podcasts; a lot of podcasts are made without a lot of attention to the sound of the voices and I often feel like I’m listening to mud and bad sound, dropouts and poor digital transmission. This app was said to have the ability to play and EQ music and podcasts, but it can’t load or play them, there is no play / stop interface. The sound was not improved, but does that matter if the app can’t access what you wanted to play anyway? A total waste of effort.

Better than Apple Music app but has a bug. While this app may be a little difficult to navigate through and find the right screen or options, the shuffle feature does not repeat songs like the default Apple player app does. When you add songs to the queue and shuffle them it's like a deck of cards and plays through them in the shuffled order until every song has been played. The issue I have is that it skips songs in the queue. You hear just a blip of the next song and it advances to the next and it happens every 5 to 10 songs. Fix this and it would be so much better.

Music lover. I really like this app. Makes a huge difference whit a quality headphones. I'm using Bose headphones and this app helps to add some more bass to the music i listen to in the gym. The Denon brand name is well known in audiophile circles. I used to own some of their audio devices and i was never disappointed. That is why I'm using this app. Please don't change anything on it. It is that good. Update: It was good till it stopped working.

This is how you get stuff done right here... you should be the one doing it but instead Denon had to. Why do you constantly limit your products so much? I swear if you add one more app I can't remove I'm gonna make this my last iphone. Maybe it is already.

Great music player, great multichannel EQ. I’ve been looking for a decent eq for quite awhile, but not necessarily a music player. I was fine with the iTunes Player. But that wasn’t an option with Apple’s OS. I was stuck with finding an eq with a good player. This software has a very good take on what makes a good player, including adjustable playlist on the fly. And the eq, with its multichannel adjustments, and setting memory, is just great! The only thing I wish I could have is the ability of Siri to control it, so I could safely control the music player while driving.

Was an Excellent FREE Audio App. Bought the over a few years, replacing other competitive audio apps with added features such as sleep/EQ function but not customizing as the Denon offered. Denon now took away my EQ feature requing $1.99 and possible tx👀🤘👧🏿where are my customized EQs?🌚 Denon has a "restore" button to give back my EQs, does not work!:( I will re-rate the once amazing audio app by maker Denon if they allow the restore function giving me my EQ.

Thanks!. This isn’t just a graphic eq, it’s a pretty good player too! Much better than itunes, tho that’s not saying much. Demon is great because of that AND because it’s free! It lets you own your own music too (unlike iTunes). It lets you tune it to your liking without having to fiddle through substandard presets, and it works well with pc apps. The only thing that needs improvement is once in a while the app cuts off the song you’re listening to right in the middle and goes to the next one. They could also work on song fading; out at the end of the current one and into the beginning of the next one with a slight overlap, the way MediaMonkey does. Otherwise, great app! Thanks!

Much better than Itunes.. I used this app for about 30 seconds and already like it way more than Itunes and sounds better, so this might be an impulsive review. But I think that speaks to the quality when you notice right away there is a big difference. I bought the added EQ, because I have some audio lectures that just have a few unpleasant frequencies so it's great to have a 10 band to narrow band them out.

Finally! A music app that has a truly usable landscape mode. I mount my 6 plus on my bike and motorcycle and mounting the phone sideways is a must. It just isn't as secure in when it's mounted upright. I've been searching high and low for a good music app that utilized landscape mode properly and I have finally found it! I've downloaded at least 8 other apps (paid for 2) only to find that all of them either did not support landscape mode at all or did it poorly when they did. On top of that, the functionality is exellent; sort, queues, playlists are all well thought out and easy to use. The equalizer is icing on the cake. Very nice. The developers of this app deserve the $1.99. Great app!

Great App with Major Annoyances. Love the App, sound quality good, far more tunable (especially with the Equalizer added in) and sleek interface. Major annoyances: Every time the app is started, one of two things happens: 1) The in-app purchased EQ is turned off and asks to be "purchased" or "restored" (if you already bought it, which I did) meaning you need to reenter your Apple credentials to "restore" it, or 2) you start the app and the EQ is just turned off, so you have to go back into settings to turn it on, in which case most times annoyance #1 happens. I would rate this five stars if not for the incessant and annoying need to re-authenticate the $1.99 equalizer I purchased.

Fantastic job on this one. I've been using this app for a month now and I am very impressed with it. I really like the limiting feature (instead of distorting) when heavy bass is present. I have showed many of my friends this app and will be using it for a long time to come. The one thing I could think to improve it would be to make it possible to use with Pandora

Denon Audio Music Player with EQ. Wow! This app is definitely for people who truly value and appreciate and enjoy sonic and audio excellence from their music collection like myself. I highly recommend this very fine App, coming from one of the premier audio experts around. I used to thoroughly enjoy the Audio Xciter HD music player, that is, until I transitioned over to my new iPhone 6 from my iPhone 5s, and started to have bugs, problems and playback issues on the new iPhone - all due by ios 8 compatibility or optimization issues. And, until this issue is resolved by Audio Xciter, the new Denon player will serve me quite nicely. Love the outstanding 10 preset EQ settings, already quite nice and meeting all my personal needs. And, with the ability to even fine tune and customize your music output to your own personal preferences, that's truly icing on the audio cake. Throw in ability to easily create your own music queue playlist from your vast library and you have yourself a real winner. Never bombed in the limited time I've enjoyed the player thus far. No bugs. No playback issues whatsoever. Very nice. Very professional. Very Denon. 👍😉

Great EQ. Plays everything on my iPhone and lets my Apple Watch control volume and song skip. I customized EQ settings for two sets of Bluetooth speakers (large and small) and they sound so much better now. Best of all, it’s free. I’d pay a one time fee to buy this but every other app wants a monthly sub. even though it does nothing new every month. No Way. Get this app for you iTunes/ Bluetooth combo and live happy.

It's okay I guess.. There needs to be an option to play music by the album. I don't like needing to add every single song to the now playing menu. Also there needs to be a repeat setting for albums, songs, etc. Overall it's okay but I wouldn't recommend it to anybody trying to find an easy to use app.

Great App. This could be my favorite apps and I would give it 5 stars because It allows me to make my ah-w150's sound exactly how I want them to sound. That being said, I think it could have more features such as: More control of headphones (left right balance, stereo/mono) I ride bikes allot when I'm on the streets I only use one earphone it would be nice to not have to leave the App to make these changes. It could be added to the settings menu. I would also be nice to be able to create playlist from the app or at least be able to add to existing playlist.

Not just for my Denon cans. I wouldn’t have thought to look for this app but I have a Denon headset so it was worth a try. Well worth it. There are a few imperfections, but not enough to knock off a star. I have also use this with other headsets and I was pleased. Definitely get this if you listen on a Denon headset, but try it even if you don’t. I have used this for years and it has been reliable.

iPhone 7plus. With eq on makes horrible chatter clicking noises. Just got the new iPhone 7plus today. Downloaded this app. It worked well. So I decided to purchased the in app eq. When the eq is on it makes a horrible chatter clicking noise no matter what song I'm playing. However, it does not do this on radio portion. Only when playing songs I have on the iPhone 7plus playlist in the unit. It does not do this on my iPad with the same os, or my I touch. Just the new iPhone 7plus. I tried everything! Turned off features in phone and even rebooted, deleted, reloaded. An obvious glitch. This software needs to be updated! Hasn't been updated since 2014. Again, it's only when the eq is enabled on the new iPhone 7plus. Horrible chatter clicking noise. How can this be fixed? How do I get money back?

Great player, excellent equalizer. I have had found this player to be excellent. You can add new songs, albums, and/or playlists to the end of the queue or replace the entire cue, whatever you wish. Most important to me, because I am hard of hearing, the excellent equalizer allows me to understand audiobooks. I highly recommend this audio player.

Great app, for any headphones!. I have the Sony MDR1000X headphones, Sony's app wont find them so I have no idea how that app works, so, I tried the Denon app, wow, that EQ! Not just presets... Wow, I can adjust treble AND bass and everything in between! Plays iTunes library, radio stations both local and not so local. Can't find anything lacking at all with this app. Well worth the $1.99 for full version, (to access that beautiful EQ). Sadly, it looks like Denon is abandoning this app, about 3 years now with no updates.

Better EQ than my car’s stereo. This app helps correct the insufficient 3-band EQ in my 2016 Mercedes E350. Even though it has the so-called premium audio Harman Kardon system, it only has bass, mid and high tone controls, and my guess is its bass is centered around 125 hz. That results in a too boomy output. I stream a lot of internet radio, mostly WNCW, and the Denon app works decently as a tuner. I only give it 4 stars because it can’t be controlled with CarPlay. I have to use the iPhone if I want to change stations. Hopefully Denon will improve CarPlay compatibility.

Best audio app I've seen...up to a point.. Sound is absolutely phenomenal. Only problem I have is at times the title will change when scrolling music but the music itself keeps playing, prompting a phone reboot. Addendum: recently purchased an iPhone 6 and for whatever reason this app will not launch. Get with it. 👍 Another addendum: Wifey recently put us on Apple Music. Player won’t play music downloaded to my phone through AM. Songs that I’ve purchased through iTunes play fine, but AM won’t play at all. DRM issues perhaps? Recently upgraded to 8+ and everything that the app will play still sounds great. BTW, stop asking me to give a rating.

Great flexibility. EQ settings are much better than the standard IPhone. Works great with my Bluetooth headphones. The only problem I've had with this app is it will pause and stop songs from playing for DRM errors and then not continue to play through the playlist until I acknowledge the error. Outside of that it works great.

Tamed the bass heavy Beats. I mistakenly bought the Beats in-ear earbuds. The sound is bass heavy, unbalanced and lacks highs. I was about to give them as a gift. I tried the Denon Parametric Equalizer program. I figured it was a lesser gamble than the price I paid for the Beats. To my pleasant surprise this program tamed the sound of these headphones and saved my day. Highly recommended to anyone who wants to balance the sound of their headphones without adding distortion.

Great app!!!. I’ve been using for 3 years and never use Apple music app. This gives so much more control over eq. Makes any pair of headphones that much better. It would be nice if it had apple watch app and ability to be controlled by wired headphone controls but still worth the price w/o.

Thanks, Denon. I hate how Apple changed the way it sorts music in the native player. This app sorts music properly (how Apple used to do it) and makes finding artists easier. I had it before because of the eq options, but re-downloaded it because of Apple's screwed up music sorting on iOS. This will be my main player until Apple fixes their music player...if they ever will. UPDATE: The only problem I have so far is the queue feature. I much rather it play songs and albums when press them instead of asking how I want queue it in. Or at least have an option to disable it. Kind of takes away from the efficiency. I also realize as well that the once free eq is no longer free. That would be an issue for people looking for that functionality, but I'm more concerned with my music library organization, which this app still handles the way Apple should've.

Finally good sound. I've never used an equalizer in my life before downloading this app, but I was unsatisfied with all of Apple's presets for music. After playing with all the little dots in the equalizer purchased in this app, I was able to fine tweak the sound exactly as I wanted, so it's pretty easy to use. I have three sets of headphones that I rotate around and I was able to save my own custom equalizer for one. Works great, sounds great.

Does Not Play Anything. I just downloaded this app and bought the $2 EQ function. However, the app does not play anything at all. It seems to find the downloaded music just fine, loads it up into the queue, but then nothing. Pressing play will result in a faint “click” as if it is trying to activate the track, but nothing will play. The play button does not turn into the pause symbol, either. Forward/backward scrubbing through a track seems to work, and it shows track time information, but still there is no audio as the tracks will not play. I have deleted and re-downloaded the app, restarted my phone, started and quit Apple Music so as to make it “let go” of the Airplay function, (A track that is supposed to be playing in the Denon Audio app in Airplay tab simply says “iPhone”), but still nothing. Even tried a few different headphones/earbuds with no luck. There is absolutely no support on this app that I can find outside of the in-app FAQ, which has no troubleshooting. Can I have my $2 back, please?

needs EQ storage. I would give it 5 but, the inability to store EQ settings is a hamper to that. The EQ feature is great for tuning your car stereo or whatever. I also do not like that it erases the EQ if u happen to move off manual to other selections. Manual EQ select after is flat for example. Being able to disable the EQ easily is a plus as well as i have one car with an EQ set properly. Because I like tunein radio sources and this works with it that is a positive. Also has some usability issues for low signal strength conditions. Kept me from buying a new stereo for one car for now tho as the EQ function cleaned up the sound once optimized by ear.

Highly refined audio frequency equalizer. Amazing sound shaping tool. Intuitive interface. High performance. Nothing out there even comes close. If you love quality audio this is a must have. You have to be careful not to over boost. Nice attenuator with limiting function.

Customizable EQ, ‘nuff said!. I’m so very thankful that Denon still updates their player for the latest iOS versions. I truly hope they continue to do so for years to come. I don’t even want the UI to change! I love the larger-to-the-edge-of-screen album artwork-covers also! I only wish there was a setting so that the player would remain keeping the iPhone on like maps when in GPS mode. Customizing the EQs makes this a Hi-Res Audio dream! Thank you Denon!

Does NOT work with iTunes Match USELESS. Does NOT work with iTunes Match USELESS... But this is Apple's issue...Come on Apple... Give the developers the low level access required for these types of Apps to fully function...Apple PUSHES iTunes Match then does not allow developers access... Shame on you Apple... Would most likely give 5 stars otherwise... Not the developer's fault.

At least it works. Would like to use equalizer without paying though it is only two dollars the transaction is unnecessary. Also would like to add that my new earphones have overpowering highs so since Apple who has a phone with the majority of its purpose being music and games doesn't have their own equalizer I have been looking for a good one. At least the preset eq for this gives me what I want, but I would like to take advantage of a nice equalizer from a well known company. Like your receivers Denon.

Alert for music lovers and audio files!. This is my go to Music player. I have access to my iTunes library and radio stations. I can tweak this to my heart’s content. My hifi buddies have been using this and recommend it to me. I’m glad I listen. Pun intended.

A must have. If you know anything about graphic EQ's and listen to a lot of music on your phone you must have this app! It's amazing! I'm a recording engineer so I like to think I have a pretty good ear for audio, and the things this app lets me do and add to music recorded yesterday or in the 50's is phenomenal! Just make sure you know what and how a graphic EQ is and you will spend hours fine tuning previously recorded music, to sound better through what ever device! Get it now if your in the know!

Usually A Good App, Frustrating Problems Lately. Overall a great application usually, but I'm now unable to restore my purchased EQ when re-downloading the app to a new iPod, upon my old one breaking. If something can be done, please make it to where I can listen to music again without spending another $1.99. When that happens, my rating will go back up to 5-stars, no problem.

????? Say man! ?????. You got a problem chief. I've been using several years. Not without issues , try deleting and install once more, and maybe several times. Try at different times of day using different connections. Use WiFi to download or cell. It does work

Everything you want without Apple Music. I found Apple Music trashed my system, took ownership of ten years of music from collection, and generally screwed me, so I was looking for a good alternative player. This is it. Only quibble is I wish the iPad and iPhone versions synced saved stations.

Great app but needs some fixing. Fantastic app. Nice design and good in appearance. Nice features. Just got it then and found a fault. It doesn't work in background in some apps in which apple'a music would. And once you open an app in which the music stops playing and then you leave the app...the music does not start playing again. If you fix this, it will be a great app!

Better than Apple.. Better than the iPhone music player and the eq is excellent. Nice work and kudos to the developers.

Disappointing. It's actually a great up, but if you choose to turn off the wi-fi data option (which most will do), then you continually get a warning pop up on the screen reminding you that it is turned off, and you have to acknowledge the warning. This resulted in me deleting the app and buying another one.

Best audio app.. The audio app I have been looking for.....

Luvly Radio & EQ. I'd been looking for an app which gave me EQ control over music and this throws in a great radio app as well. Has some minor bugs but is well on the way to meeting most basic needs. Also it's by Denon... they made the first speakers I owned, so there's a nostalgia quotient as well!!

Excnt EQ, podcast crashes, nice interface. Improvements: - PLEASE fix the podcast integration (entire app. crashes immediately when trying to play from this menu option). - battery life is POOR when using this app. on iPhone 5 (make more efficient?) - alternate colour schemes for the app? Otherwise, this is a great app. with excellent customisable EQ settings. All other menus are easily navigable with a nice user interface.

Intrusive Advertisments. Great app for casual and audio enthusiasts, great for tweaking sound BUT latest update hinders usability greatly due to ads.

Makes Apple AirPods actually listenable!. (Update: would get 5 stars if it had *sound check* like the native music app) Old-style UI but works on iOS 13. Has higher volume limit than native music app. Well worth 3 bucks for the EQ. I used the "Small White Buds" preset, then flattened the two treble handles to 0dB, saved that preset, now I can *enjoy* AirPods 🙂🤔🤣

Totally satisfied. This app does everything I need. It is easy to create playlists. The in app purchase of the EQ was well worth it. It is easy to control. The audio sound is excellent. It is an excellent replacement for an app that is no longer available. It works well and looks good on an iPad.

Best music app out there. Most off the reviews cover the EQ, which is awesome, but I'll try to cover the other features. The app allows for a queue of music, which is essentially a custom playlist that is created whenever you play music. If you have ever wanted to listen to 2 albums on a loop without having to create a new playlist, or just want to listen to some songs without having to worry about changing between albums, this is the app for you. It also has a button that displays the lyrics for any song, and gives artist autobiographies. Unlike the Apple Music app, it actually shows the year that songs were released in, and I have found that it is better at getting artist photos then Apple's music app (for example Apple Music confuses the metal band Dio for someone else) It also has a radio with probably about 1000 stations on it. Overall this definitely is the app to get if you listen to music frequently.

Best eq I've found. Have paid for 2 other similar apps and they make clicking noise. This app does not. Tip pull down the mid and highs, then up the volume. Finally some base in my Bluetooth Jabra ear buds

Great linear phase EQ. I'm a sound engineer and purchased this specifically for the EQ and it does not disappoint. The EQ allows accurate correction for various monitoring situations. The one thing I would like to see though is gapless playback. If Denon add that, I'll give this five stars. I've been a big fan of Denon products since the early 80's when I first discovered their awesome HD8, high bias, metal particle cassettes.

Pretty good.... Very similar to EQu but doesn't have the native full screen for the iPad. Otherwise an excellent app. Create and save EQ curves for all your headphones or speakers.

A high quality audio app with only one downside. An excellent app for controlling music. The EQ is everything you could ask for on an EQ, providing a vast array of presets and a full range of customization. Another nice feature which was recently added is the artist picture, information and tour status, which can be either automatic, or manually edited. The only downside to this app is it will occasionally display advertisements for other Denon products, despite being a paid app. It is for this reason alone that I rated 4/5, instead of 5.

Login Problem. I think this app is great, but it won't let me sign up to Log in outside the US, even though it has the option. Please let me know what to do!

Poor battery life. 3-4 hrs on iPhone 5 just listening to music only. Can get more than all day with stock app or using equalizer app, why so hungry?

Good EQ and interface, I wish I could turn off playback queue. The EQ and user interface is very good. But I hate the playback queue system. I wish there was an option to turn it off and behave like the stock music app.

Help. The text for the playlists turned black against the black background and I can’t read the songs I don’t see any options to fix this seems like a bug

Love it. Must have for car audio. I am in love! This app saved me hundreds of dollars in car stereo upgrades. I combined this app with FLAC / Apple Lossless audio files and it has changed my world. I am now an audiophile! First, pay for the graphic EQ upgrade. It is so simple, so perfect and yet so powerful. Best music player for iPod touch. This app is the best music player that I found for Ipod. Is simple to use, very good equalizer and it is easy to create your own playlist or shuffle your songs list. Also, is is easy to play your music by kind, album or artist. But, it will be great if we can play our music with crossfader between 2 songs. I mean no stop at the end of song and when a new title is beginning to play. I think it will be a good option to add for this app, even if I have to pay to add it (like EQ)

Works great, not flashy, dif station presets very useful. Small sized app that does what it does well and doesnt look overly flashy or like a AD or toy i like it!

Waste of money. Useless

Needs to be refined. Needs better method to adjust equalizers. Only good if you have iPhone 5 because equalizer 10 band for example can fit your fingers for adjustment with bigger screen. I never get my 10 band adjustment done correctly because they go off balance. I suggest the equalizer should implement numbers for how much one can adjust the equalizers. Also there should be more preset available for different genres set up automatically.

nice player. but since I changed computer each song I listen I get the msg box about the song not being fully downloaded from the cloud or drm protected but it was working all fine before that :/

App crashes while talking on the phone!. App crashes while in a phone call or skype!! Please fix this.

New problems. It's a great app but ever since iOS 10 I have to restore the equalizer by going to the App Store almost every time I go to use the app. It seems to lose the knowledge that the upgrade has been purchased.

Best sounding eq yet!. The manually adjustable eq sounds fabulous. In minutes, any pair of headphones can be calibrated to sound much better weather subtle or agressive eqing is required, this eq has the most accurate sounding response. Paired with the iPhones audio hardware, this app turns your device into a more flexable portable music player. It would be nice to have a few more things in settings such as turning off the auto-rotate so I do not have to do this globally.

Used to be good... They now charge 2$ for the eq, best part of the app. All good things come to an end I suppose

A burden to use but worth the EQ. I’m heading impaired so bought it so I could listen to podcasts and radio and increase intelligibility by boosting higher frequencies. The EQ is something every player should have and it works. Sadly the player in this app is unstable, has a lousy search function and does not present search results in a friendly and easy to read way. Still looking for a better player with multi band EQ but haven’t found it.

Best for AirPods. Out of the box or with any other music apps even those with a great equalizer, I found the AirPods dry, cold and distant. With the some tiny adjustments through this app’s EQ, the AirPods sound excellent. Warm deep but clean bass; limpid natural mids and crisp clear highs. No other app was able to make the AirPods sound as good as this app does. With better headphones, I tried pushing the EQ to some extremes and never got distortion. The apps interface is a little awkward. I don’t find it particularly intuitive. And it crashes occasionally. So can’t rate it 5 stars. But it gets 4/5 purely for the great audio and incredible EQ.

Deaf guy. This is a great app. I'm very deaf and the EQ brings up all the sounds my ears have a hard time hearing.

Does not forward in Podcast?. I can’t get it to forward through a podcast. Just goes back to the beginning.

Lost all playlists and songs.. When apple did an update all my playlist and songs had been deleted. I did a restore from a previous backup and it still didn’t have my playlist or songs. Also I can no longer see any options for importing my own music.

Nice crisp clean. Had no idea that an app could enhance the sound so much.

So helpful!. I made a custom equalizer I call Flat-5. It is -5 dB across the board. I mainly listen to talk, so it keeps my iPhone from deafening me.

Crash… Crash... Crash. I’d like to review the app, but unfortunately it won’t stay open long enough to test! Open app, select Songs… crash. Open app, select Albums… crash. Delete app, reinstall app, open, select Artists…. crash.

Great app.. Finally an app that lets you play one mp3 and stop without forcing you to repeat or play other selections in your library. Sound quality is fine for me, also.

Angry.... What's the point of this app if the Denon club app does the same thing but also lets you search lyrics? I bought the eq on this one as I planned on using it, but the club app is better and now I'm stuck using the worse of the two...

Remarkable. After using this app for years, I feared I would lose support with the latest iOS. But lo and behold, the Denon team came through. Fantastic work on a fantastic app.

Amazing audio quality. The EQ produces amazing sound with clear mids and highs with thumping lows. Perfect for the audiophile who doesn't have the arm strength to carry their hi-fi system with them.

Very good. I have to say that they finally got this to work perfect.

Graphic equalizer. Really needed an equalizer to improve poor sound quality when using Bluetooth earbuds and speakers. The Denon app with $2 purchase for equalizer greatly improved sound quality

Great Sound. With my own music or WiFi radio, this app makes my car stereo sound much, much better.

The equalizer functionality why I used it!. When this application first hit the store here I used the equalized to enjoy my favorite vinyl Dubbed tracks. Now recently Denon started charging for this feature after updating my next step was to uninstall it. Very disappointed with the developers here.

-Was great on iPhone 5s, not now on iPhone 7+. -App worked great on previous iPhone 5s, but not now on the 7+ due to loud, metered click track overlaying music tracks when phone speakers are used. - Its fine bluetoothing to car or other speakers, but loud clicking makes use over phone speakers unpleasant. -iOS Music and EQu apps work fine so I'm guessing app needs update (almost three years since last one) to accommodate processor changes and the mono/stereo change on the 7+. - Support chat at Denon said there will be an update soon for new products.

Amazing. A somewhat incredible EQ, by far the best out there on the App Store. I'll be sticking with this for a while.

Pops/crackles. I mainly wanted this app for its equalizer but every time I turn the Eq on from settings I'll get crackles and pops. It's annoying to the point of not even using. Just gave an extra star because the app as a music player works...at least

Better than the apple built in music app. This app fill all the spaces left by the apple player. Only negative point is that the EQ is in app paid.

Clicks/pops. Using iPhone 7 plus. Just bought this app today but now I see it hasn't been updated in a very long time. The app produces a loud clicking static sound that none of my other music playing apps creates. Avoid this app and look for something else.

Don't bother. Terrible app. Deceptive description, makes you believe you are getting an equalizer. No, you pay extra for that, then, every time you open the app, you must restore that purchase, via signing in to iTunes and all that... I so wish I could get my money back

Great Sound if it Plays your Content. All of the sudden it won’t play hardly any song... keeps giving me a DRM message. What is the point of selling something that can’t or won’t play content on the platform you are selling it on? It didn’t do this until recently.

Overall - Good Player. Just need to improve interface for the equalizer. Also need capabilities to be able to take input from other apps/players and use the Denon equalizer to enhance their quality. Performance - it's Denon. ne'f said!

Thick and clear. It's wonderful to have an app that can deliver thick lows with clear mids and highs on my iOS devices. Makes me smile whenever I listen with it. Edit: the app is a bit of an energy hog. Developers, please note.

So much for a EQ when the player does not play!. The EQ works fine but the player is just horrible. When I try to play any song, I get this error "This song could not be played". If it does play, it says it's playing a different song and it's not! Please fix this app!

Purchases disappeared, two emails, no response from company.. I redownloaded the app a while ago, found that my ew purchase was deactivated. I tried to use their forum to contact the company, twice and no response. I used this every day for years, but now it's useless unless I buy their eq again.

Best one. I searched and searched and tried lots of players. This is the best one, love it. And it has a side bar from A to Z, without that the player is a piece of trash to me.

Doesn’t work. I paid the in-app purchase, and had the same experience as the other reviewer. Music won’t play and zero ability to adjust your Denon headphones (which are absolutely not worth the money)

Good music player. I really like this app for its sound quality. The EQ works quite well. I also like how the player is queue based. It's now the only music player I use on my iPhone.

Wow Perfect so far!!!. I was so tired of the low output volume on some songs. Also, I wanted to be able to adjust the frequency range to my liking. This app is perfect so far. I did buy the realtime graphic response with EQ. Worth the small $. Thanks Denon.

Sound problem. I bought this app since Denon is a very reputable company but Sound seems to go in and out when raising the bass plus app crashes at times

Don’t Waste Your Time or Money. Works no better than what comes on the iPhone. After I purchased the equalizer it didn’t change anything. Demon support is nonexistent. Apple, you should do a better job of filtering out scams.

Denon is marvelous. I’m impressed that such a respected manufacturer and purveyor of sound products ALSO provides access to fine music of varying types that has been well researched. Thank you sincerely to the Denon brand.

Sleek. Simple to use interface. Looks cool. Works great. Works in landscape mode as well. Others giving one stare claiming it doesn’t work might try restoring their phone. The problem is not the app.

Sorting better than iOS 9. Needed an app that could sort music by genre > artist, instead of by the hundreds of albums that don't have official named/I don't know the names of. This app does that. 5/5

I LOVE THIS APP!. This is mu GO TO app for audio! The equalizer is fantastic and I have settings for all of my audio devices. Headphones, earbuds, home stereo, and my car! It works perfectly with my downloaded music as well as with Tunein radio stations.
