Just right. This app is the perfect way to put your ideas down where you can quickly retrieve them. Also great for the people like to doodle.

Woodworking - GOOD and Basic. Let's you get your ideas on paper (recorded on iPad) for future reference. otherwise, my bright ideas go onto paper and I lose track of them. This tool let's you play with the overall design of the look you want. I have used it for a barrel composter, a under kitchen cabinet bread box with tambour door, and a cantilevered sub-irrigation garden box with useful results I can print.

lame. Using the app’s description to complain about the app that was not only released, but got ADA months before you even shipped yours. Seriously? Also, this app is ugly and crashes a lot.( Unlike the one that you are trying to steal the attention from.)

Good!. It's well put together. Well constructed: lean and not cluttered. It works.

Simple but GREAT!. I have more sophisticated drawing apps that do a much neater job (if I have the time to spend on them) but this one is so simple to use that you can think with your finger tip as you go. I use it often.

Original & best. Apple should make the others CHANGE their name. Apple are hypocrites!!! They need to follow THEIR rules instead of prostituting themselves! NOT FAIR & NOT RIGHT , just unbelievable! Your ORIGINAL app is the best!

Paper, Paper, Paper. I like this app, Paper, because of its simplicity: it provides a quick and easy surface to sketch basic ideas or to finish the drawing, if desired. The choices of paper are unique, colors unlimited and the tools meet my needs...almost. However, switching between tools is a hassle-they load too slowly, and unless I am missing something, where is the blending tool? These are reasons, my review delivers four stars...generous of me.

This is a piece of junk.. Simple is good when it works, this.... not so good. ...and, the Dev. is a cry baby to blame Apple, seeing how 'Paper' is such a unique and imaginative name! Bwahaha

Beautiful. Very clean lines, it's like zen painting it's so relaxing!

Good. I applaud the makers of this app for not being like other app makers who cheat & make you pay for individual colors or pay for individual brushes. It's nice that this app has endless color wheel & everything is unlocked, no need to pay any in-app purchases. My only suggestions is to add layers & option to re-size the brushes & add opacity option.

So enjoyable 😊. I get a little more addicted to Paper every time I use it. Love the simple creativity it lets you use. Try it, you have nothing to lose!

Very basic. As a quick sketching tool, it's okay, but I can't really say I see the point of the various paper textures, since the brush and pen strokes don't pick up any of the texture of the paper you draw on.

Very Nice. Simply put, I love it. Wish it offered Cloud Sync.

Clean & Smooth. Very, very, very clean lines, super smooth design, just a superb paint and note app. Wildly easy to use, but there are instructions right in there if you need them. Just a great little app.

Ms. Works for what I needed

Beautiful Paint, Fast and Easy. I love the pencil tool best, the lines are just beautiful, it makes me just want to keep painting. There's a lot of Brush styles, but pencil is still my favorite. The paper styles are wonderful too, I keep sending pictures out, and no one minds! Update: Thanks for all the new Paper styles and Paint Bucket Fill! As always, so great that you do not charging me extra for more painting brushes, tools, and colors!

Poor and bad support. Weak and poor support. Tried to get refund and website offered email that just gave me return, not delivered. Crashed my system few times.

Simple and Great!. Love this app-no more searching around for the scrap paper I made a preliminary sketch on! I use it more often than I thought I would. Would love to be able to re-order already existing pages and categorize them for myself.

Pretty good. This app is slow to respond to requests to change pen colors, tools and erase. Has crashed and freezes up at times. I'd like to see the ability to change the order of the paper. The last sheet I create is always the first one on the screen, I'd like the ability to move each sheet to the order I want. The full app Paper is a better choice for more detailed needs. I bought this app for quick access and easy use. Updating this review. Still crashes, slow to respond. Frustrating to use. Get Paper 53 and not this app

Really Good App. Really nice App. Does what it says it will. 1 wish. That you could e-mail a copy of what you wrote or ICloud to other devices. Besides this, works great.

Needs update!. Only three stars because of no updates. Message popped up this morning that it would not work with IOS 11. Update, please! We don't want to lose this app!

Playfully Peaceful. I paint on this app every morning! Like a little devotion, I look out the window and echo the colors and shapes. The possibilities seem nearly endless with regards to colors. The brush options are good. I like that I can undo my strokes. The brush tools don't always respond on the first tap, other than that, my new favorite way to relax.

Needs two things. Great app, needs a zoom function and the ability to adjust the size of your brush, why are these essential functions not in here

May need an update. Just purchased Paper after reading about it in an interview with Arnold Schwarzeneggar WSJ of 2-3 Nov 2019. The app has potential, but in its current iteration has very limited functionality in iOS 13.2. Definitely not worth purchasing until it‘s updated. Looking forward to when that happens.

Just right THERE. At first, I thought this app was too simple! Where was all the fancy stuff? It's perfect just the way it is. I get up in the morning with lots of ideas. I need a piece of paper. THERE it is. I love it. I don't have to go through a lot of hullabaloo to set anything up. Just choose a paper and start thinking or remembering or creating or doodling. Anytime of day or night! Thanks.

Convenient to use. Love the simplicity of paper, like being able to write my notes especially when having to write directions, or confirmation numbers when on the phone with a representative, instead of having to type them with the keyboard! Much faster. Nice app.

Keeps freezing, not responsive. The app keeps freezing while I'm drawing. Also when changing pens or colors, I have to tap the icon several times for it to react. Would be nice if the pen tip had variable sizes or responded to pressure.

The First Paper. Nice little app. No ads and easy to use. Plenty of brush options to start.

paper. crashes alot. could not find settings or help. no support on developer site. the "i" button in the upper right does nothing? no apparent functions, to save, email, etc.

Outstanding support. This is a neat little app, but what has impressed me the most is the support. I had some questions and the e mail responses from the tech team came within minutes and was polite and helpful. Love that!

If only..... It's a wonderful app for making little drawings, if only it wouldn't freeze up.

Great app!. Really nice little app, simple and clean. I'd love a way to change the brush sizes perhaps. It's a nice tool for sketching--similar to MS Paint (and as easy to use, really), the genius lies in what you might do with it.

Average. This developer has taken up a lot of space in the description area with a complaint, dare I say, a whinge about other apps with a similar name. Okay, so this was allegedly the first. Doesn't mean it's the best. I've had other apps called 'Paper...' And use them all the time. They are excellent. This seems merely so-so and no better than any simple app for scribbling quick notes. The brush and pen functions appear no different to the pencil function, so no point in having them. For a real 'pen' feel, INKredible is better. So there are paper textures, so what? I gave it a fair try and will be uninstalling it purely because it's no better and not as good as others I already have.

Absolutely Amazing. This is a GREAT app :) by all means it is worth the money. The accuracy is phenomenal!

Paper. Was not expecting to be charged for support, but got an iTunes receipt for 99 cents for a problem plus the 99 cents I paid for the full version . The full version has a pop up inviting you to email for support. Didn't know I would be charged. The full version only seems to have one additional option as compared to Paper Express. If the pop ups were not so annoying, it would not be worth buying the full version. OOPS. Sorry I was not charged for support.

awesome art with paper. This lil app has power in it. I thought to my self. yeah okay yet another finger painting app great. No I was wrong. sure there are the more expensive apps that have teams of software designers behind them. Well you get software with those apps, dialogs and menus, in app brush purchases. with this app none of that. just you a couple of art supplies and some paper. Its all any artist needs isn't it? The app it self is functionally brilliant. It mostly seems solidly designed and user friendly with the design focus on the art and not the application. There are some bugs that need to be worked out like the new "Paint bucket" feature is a bit buggy. some times a bit severe. I'm sure the dev team will be fixing it soon though. I did notice the the tool bar at the bottom of the screen cover part of the canvas. I realized it when i saved to my photo album and the bottom was all white because my brush didn't reach down under the tool bar. It wasn't a big deal because i just flipped the iPad over and finish painting upside down. It was kind of odd to finish like that though. Overall I rate this app with 4 stars as a good buy. While it has issues with some bugs and usability it dose what it supposed to do without bogging you down with more UI.

Don't waste your money. I almost never leave 1 star reviews but I had to warn people that this is one big ripoff. I have all the well known drawing and painting apps. I think the good reviews here are fake cause the tools in this app are junk plus the media don't integrate with the paper at all so what's the point of the different styles of paper? Ink lines, brush lines, they all look the same, like the common marker line and they just lay there. All this app has going for it is a beautiful icon. I was suckered.

Awesome. If you ever look for an app where you can hand write on you iPhone, and also have a classic style, this is what you are looking for.

Decent app. This is a decent quick-drawing app with a nice clean interface. The main MISSING features are: - Select custom thickness of pen/pencil/brush. - Hide the big toolbar at the bottom while drawing or at least reduce the size if it. - Clear entire drawing with click of a button (erase all).

Desperately needs export capabilities. An app as cool as this (and it is VERY cool) is rendered almost useless without the ability to export drawings to a standard file format like PNG (with transparency) or SVG. Without the ability to export, this is nothing more than a bit of entertainment that will quickly grow old. In fact, I don't think I'll even open it again to use it. I'll leave it installed, though, with the hope that you add export capabilities.

I wish I could save. You can't save to your camera roll/ photo gallery. I also wish I could change the thickness of each tool. Other than that it's a beautiful app and fun to use.

Pretty good so far. Needs continuity; page turning to continue notes. Would like to see pen type and line size changes and a hi-liter mode. That would make it comparable to iPad note taking apps as I don't carry my iPad on me like I do my phone. That would probably get 5 stars then. Thank you.

Must Get This App!. You must get this App! I had no idea my screen could draw lines as purely beautiful and the pencil tool on this app. I keep making wonderful pictures and just enjoying and sharing them. Thank you a million times over!

Good but not amazing. As some others have said the ink is flat no matter the paper you choose. Would also like a size feature for variable line widths. Otherwise fun and simple.

Could be a five star. The first version of this app crashed often, otherwise I would give it Five stars. The company was quick to respond & promised this update with the enhancement of being able to email the creation. I have my fingers and toes crossed. Hurry, it is hard to write and walk without use of digits. Two weeks later-- fast response and repair of my issues earns them a fifth star. Great job guys!

Terrible!. Fix the crashing in the app!!!!

Missing the mark(s). Only brush, pen nib and pencil do anything. No brush size adjustments. Very sluggish app. Am I missing something?

My Favorite Drawing App. First, this is the cleanest app ever, it's just so beautiful to even look at. Beyond that, the drawing quality is top notch, it makes you love to look at your Retina Display! I agree, the pencil tool is my favorite, followed by the ink spray for accents and highlighting. As if that wasn't enough, the Paper Textures are 1st class and there's more in here than any other app I can find, and I pretty much have them all. Thanks for not hitting us up for extra charges to use the tools! Great deal.

So Beautiful. The Pencil (in red) & Arctic Snow paper are my favorites. This is hands down the cleanest, purest, top drawer paint and drawing app of them all. The way the Ink flows into the paper, the purity of the lines, the powerful simplicity of the design of this app, it makes me respect digital art. This is different and new and good. Trust that 1st shot of the bonsai tree, this is the app you want, and for a fraction of what others are charging for a lessor drawing tool. Thank You for this app!
