Horrid absolutely horrid. This was aweful only 3 animations and 20 frames each. At 30 fps that doesent even last a second. The tools are limiting and it is impossible to produce nice quality. I wish i never downloaded this.

Maybe?. Please, add a longer limit. I was trying to find an animation thingy and my mom is too cheap to buy the full version, so please?

Just what i was looking for. I was looking for an animation app for about an hour then i stumbled across this. It was exactly what i was looking for, an animation app with layers. It is a little annoying that there are 20 frames but hey if i make 10 animations and stitch them together thats 200 frames. More work but i get it this is the free version. Overall,this app has my recommendation

I am mad/sad. Well I already bought this app on my iPod and my other iPad and it is making me re-buy the full version. So I thought this is BS, but I got this version, cuz I thought it would be the same but no money. I then was making a really detailed animation and then clicked add. The 20 frames only... Lame! I love the full version and the money was worth it on my iPad and iPod. I don't want to buy it again. Plz my family is poor because of money loss. I'd give 10/5 ⭐️(extra five) if you DO fixthis issue and I'll tell my friends to get this app. I would give -5/10⭐️ if you DO NOT fix this issue

Problems.. I was drawing a perfect line- but oh no. “BUY THR FULL VERSION HERE” popped up. So many things like that pop up and it’s very annoying. Please make it so there is way less of that..

Why can't I animate more than 3 animations?. I have an issue with the 3 animations and 20 frames. What if I want to make another animation or what if I need more than 20 frames? It's totally unfair to do this. If you don't fix this, I am gonna rate this to ONE STAR.

Waste of time and money. Though the app is great with animations, it's too limited. I want to make longer animations that have a better feel. I believe I wasted my time in a way.

Doesn't seem optimized for iPad Pro.. No Apple Pencil pressure sensitivity. UI designed using the desktop philosophy (taskbars taskbars taskbars) instead of tablet (No modern tablet gesture functions, such as performing an undo using two-finger taps, or others using multi-finger swipes). Keep getting bugs that causes the app to avoid registering brush strokes unless I switch back and forth from drawing mode and preview mode. Gets prone to crashing after running it for 10+ minutes of usage. Unable to alter settings so that drawing is restricted to the stylus and not touch. Unwanted strokes from fingers accidentally touching the canvas become the norm.

It's ok. I wasn't a big fan that you can only make 2 animations, when I was trying to do something stuff kept on popping up I'm going to rate a 4 because it's not the best app, I don't want to buy the upgrade, or delete my animations. Thank you for understanding

Doesn’t work!!! Would give 0 stars.. Okay, so you open the app, press the + button, then pick a size or whatever, then it takes you in it, then what. You can’t change the size of the eraser or pen. And you can’t change the colors!!!!! What is wrong with ya’lls app???!!! I’m sorry that I had to give this a 1 star rating. Maybe you fix this and make it more like FlipaClip, it would be used more. This app is great, but.... I love this app because it is super fun! Unfortunately, I was drawing an animation and all of a sudden, my app glitches out and I lost all that I was recently working on. Please fix the stupid glitch.

No not today but maybe tomorrow. This app is soooo bad i just started using it an it only lets u have 20 frames.... that’s just whack and the quality is good but could use an update and i can’t buy the full version because i don’t have money so can u change that (PLEASE!!)

I am pretty mad. So I downloaded this free version not knowing something, you can only have 19 frames and 3 animations unless you buy the 4 dollar version! It makes me mad that I can't fulfill my dreams of animation. And I am not about to lend over my credit card if I see the app... AND IT HAS LITTLE RECOURSES! It just makes me sad that I have to pay for something with little things to use😭😡👎

I think I can figure out a why to make this app work 🤔. I think I have all the other apps I need to make this work, I believe I can wriggle my way around the problems people keep squawking about... 😊 their just like “Bock bock bock, This doesn’t work right...blah blah blah...” I’ll judge this app myself. I sadly have to even give it one star. The full version, which I don’t feel like buying, is a bit much, and limiting me to 20 frames when I’m trying to help a close friend of mine animating something is no help whatsoever.

Ok. This is a great animation app, but I HATE how you can only have three sequences, two audio clips, and is you don't have the original app, ADDS CONSTANTLY POP UP! It's. So. Annoying. Other than that disgrace, it's an ok app.

Frames, limits,and tools. It would be SO much better if you could have a max of 100 frames cause some people aka me, don't want to buy the full version. And i am in the process of making an animation but i reached my limit of 20 frames and 3 animations. And could we have a tool that cuts the drawing and is able to move it, BUT instead of it being a square or rectangle, let us trace the part w want to move,. Because i am drawing arms and the hair of the character is getting in the way and the hair is HIGHLY DETAILED AND i don't want to ruin it. Also with the crop tool can we atleast be able to turn the part we want to crop??? Cause the arm needs to be moving from it pointing up to it crossing its arms. And also the number of animations, come on guys 3 animations ain't gonna get anybody anywhere. I need more animations, more frames, more things that will excite me! And if you can do that i would greatly appreciate it and i might even recommend this app and the full version to my friends. And if you make a customer happy aka me, you will make a profit and with that you can make more of your add's and interest more and more people. Do Not Download!. This app is garbage, it can only have like 15 frames (not even a full SECOND) per scene, and you can only have 2 scenes, you can do that, but it costs money, and I would rather buy a plate of pickles (and I hate pickles) than be able to draw a gif, Apple, take it off the App Store please.

This is reasonable for a demo. This app is amazing for basically anything because we all own an app called IMovie so we can merge together :p

My thoughts.. I bought this wayyyy back in June 2016. I found it okay. I didn’t really animate much back then. I use flipaclip now

WORST APP EVER. Ok so it was fun, until I got more than 3 animations! It makes you pay 4 dollars for a animation app if you want full. Then I was like whatever and then GUESS WHAT! I can’t do make than 20 slides. So that totally ruined my animation. Even if the full was free, I would not get it. Not many options and so boring. NEVER GET THIS APP

limits 😑. I HATE LIMITS. I would like it if I could experience the app more instead of having 20 frames and 3 animations AND 2 audio clips that are only 10 seconds I hate it. At least let us have maybe a limit of 100 or 200 for the first maybe 3 or even more animations. And don’t forget the audio clips make them longer too like maybe a 1 min or more not just 10 seconds that’s lame!! Give us more freedom with the first three animations PLEASE. - a not really happy animator that has some ideas to help OWO

It crashed. It's a good app, but it has limits of 3 animations, and 20 slides each! Plus, it crashed and my animation was gone. I would get the full one, but if its crashes like this one, it would be a waste of money.

Really?.... So you’re saying that you can only have 15 frames per animation and only two animations? That’s barely a second if you want low FPS(frames per second) I don’t recommend unless you want your animation to be one second long... or you want to pay for it.

Quality without Quantity. This is an excellent animator, but it is hard to confine films to twenty frames. The premium whatever is worth it, but it is a hassle to buy, especially if you just want a quick, reliable animation app. Even just 50 frames would be better. Otherwise, I would definitely recommend it.

It was good up until I exited. This is a great animation app in my opinion. But that night I turned it i exited the app and closed down my iPad for the night, but when I went to open up one of my works I couldn't. Am I doing something wrong? Or are other people having this problem?

Awful. This is absolutely terrible. I was making an animation and the app crashed. Whenever I'd try to edit the animation I was working on, it crashed. Every. Single. Time. There's also only 20 frames and 3 animations, which limit the creativity of those who don't have money to pay for the full version like me. The ads on the bottom were much smoother than the actual app itself. The tools that I used sucked a lot. There was no rotation availability and I had to move my iPad itself. In conclusion, I'd not recommend this. I would've given this no stars, but apparently you can't do that.

Could use some work. I'm honestly annoyed at this point. You have limit to frames, a limit to animations, and a limit to audio. This app is so hard to use first of all. I'd honestly rather use Flipaclip this is so bad. Just...all I'm asking for is that you make this much easier and more fun to use. Is it that much to ask for?

Okay.. It's smooth and great, the lines stroke out too! But... it's super annoying when I can only have 3 animations and 20 frames. I'm used to making 1,000 frame animations and better quality than just making money. FrameCast has a lower quality drawing board, but at least it lets you animates as you please.

Its ok 😊. I wish i could have more frames, also could you add a feature were you can not only zoom in and out on you drawing but rotate it aswell please? But otherwise that i like it😙

😠. This is a good software, but there are a few key flaws; every few minutes it reminds you that the full version is better, as well as IT CRASHES EVERY TIME I TRY TO EXPORT TO MY LIBRARY. Also, you can only draw 20 frames.

My problem about this. I was trying 2 find an animation app that be able have unlimited amount of time for that sound, blending, and a few more things that is free and is not FlipaClip but I have a whole bunch of problems about this app. 1. It has limited amount of time on sound. This a huge problem since I am planning episodes that are like 20min. but this is limited to 5min. 2. I can’t be able 2 do blending this quite hard 4 a person like me since I like to make it cartoonish and a bit realistic but I can’t do that very well on this so I sticking 2 FlipaClip.

I like it, but.... The limits are a little bit too much. So, if they were to raise the limits a little, it would be better.

I don't like it.... The app is.. eh ok... but there's a couple things I find difficult, usually when I draw something I like to turn the page sideways, but this app only lets you zoom in so it's a little difficult for a beginner to try drawing a sideways line(or just a straight line), another thing about the zooming system is that sometimes(a lot of times) it glitches and ends up drawing a random line or erasing some of your work (it also places random dots around the screen), yeah sure there's a undo button but there's a problem with that too, the undo and redo buttons are way to small, if you don't press it right then there's another dot on your screen(this wouldn't bug me so much if zooming out wasn't so glitchy), but that's only the glitches in the app, the thing that annoys me the most is the constant asking to download the paid version of the app, it pops up every time, "do you wish to download the app", "it has more frames", "it's probably the exact same as the free one but at least you won't have this random pop up every five seconds", ugh, now this wouldn't bother me so much if it would pop up when I exit or anywhere else for that matter, it just makes me not want to use this app or the paid one, sense this app's so glitch shouldn't the other one be the same? Another problem I have with the app is how big the brush is, the brush can only go down to 10, I like to draw small to start out and it's really difficult to animate carefully when you have to draw so big on the screen, it bugs me, but anyway I just wanted to say this in hopes of the developer to fix it, if they don't, fine idc I won't use this anyway. :p

It's honestly great but one thing.... You can't save the video on to your camera roll!! I would rate it 5 stars if you changed that

Great App- Needs a little work although. So far this has turned out to be a great app, full of potential! I just believe that the graphics need to be improved on more. All my animations have turned out pixilated and it's alittle but of a both. Hopefully this will be fixed up but other wise it's a amazing app!

Amazing :). For free, there's still an amazing number of features available for use :) I respect the limitations that are given and believe that they are reasonable :) I don't have money to purchase the full version at the moment, but this app definitely has my attention :)

Review. Well this is a really good app, but it would be heaps better if you had more frames for the artistic needs of the animation, it's quite hard to colour fully without having a large transparent line between the colour and the lineart. It would also be great if you were able to also imports and cut parts from a song that you have bought frame iTunes, so it's easier to make AMV and PMVS without all of the background noise from the recording. But altogether, this app has helped quite a lot and I'm glad it exists ^^

Can't do anything. Almost no features, you can't even export the animation as a video without paying, instead you get all the photos. It crammed up my whole library. And you can only have 20 images on a animation without paying, and limited projects. How is someone supposed to make a proper animation with this? If you want money just make this cost and not for free. It was a waste of my time!

Decent, good for beginners (like me). I wanted to start animation with a simple app, (a little too simple) but it is very restricted. You only have a maximum of 20 frames (not enough), and only 3 animations?! I much prefer the full version.

the best animation app so far.. Really well done app, I can animate to an almost professional level. A few feature suggestions: I'd love the option to go to 1080p. (full hd) - even if this limited playback to 12 FPS (I usually work on 2s anyway) Audio functions NEED improvement. please add the ability to import via iTunes or from song library. I find the layer management a little clunky, and the shake to undo is useless. consider gestures for changing layers/undo? e.g. 3 fingers swipe up/down to change layers 3fingers swipe in a circle for undo/redo (similar to Paper by 53) I am planning on doing semi-professional animation using this app. It is by far the best on the app store in terms of performance and features.

Glitchy. Frames will change their orientation while editing while playing in the correct orientation. To resolve this, there was a lot of relaunching the app to correct the issue. It would be nice to see layers applying to all frames rather then a single frame.

Couple of bugs that are difficult to work around. Often, when I zoom in or out or move across the picture, it ditches and puts little dots where I was moving. Also I opened the app today and it has flipped both of the animations upside down! I can’t find a way to flip it back. The back button only sometimes works. While I was trying to unflip one of the drawings, it duplicated one of the eyes and overlapped it with the first pair of eyes. I pressed the back button and nothing happened. Disappointing.

OMG!. This is sooo awesome!!! This is just like making flipnotes in the DSi! This is great, simple and very fun when you're done and see what you yourself made :D This app just needs a little promotion.

Nice. Easy to use, not cluttered with tools, very effective set up. I would definitely purchase the full version when this app has the ability to export animation as a video file either locally or at least dropbox. Good work so far.

It's ok. I think that this app is all really good, except for all the reminders you get once you open the app. It says "Would you like to upgrade to full version?" Every like 2 minutes. So everything is good except that reminders stuff.

Hmmm.... Well this is a great app. I recommend getting it. It has lots of great features for the animating enthusiast. My only complaints are that you only get three animations until you upgrade to the other version. And there are ads in the way of your drawing unless you upgrade. And the other version is $1.99. That's why this is free!

I love love love your app. But I have to tell you about a bug that make your app a little frustrating sometimes. When I am making zoom and the percentage is almost 100% it automatically make it 100% and center the canvas on the screen... Hope you repare it on the next update.

Should be longer. Great app, but the animations should be able to be longer and there should be able to be more animations

Awesome. I love it. It works awesome. One problem is that some times when your trying to zooms it glitchs and your animation get tiny and moves to the side but no biggy.

YAY. This is the app that I learned Animating from. Too bad there's only 20 slides. It should be 50 slides and the Full Version Infinite slides. The animations just go too fast, but other than that I LOVE IT (OOPSIES looks like the Full Version DOES have infinite slides... But since I have to wait to get an ITunes Card YOU GUESSED IT for the full version, I hope the Express would just have more slides. THANKS!)

It's good.... It's a great app, but literally every time I use it, it crashes. I have to use it for about ten minutes before it stops randomly closing. Sadly, when it decides to randomly close, it erases everything I just did. Outside of that, it is absolutely fantastic.

I Like It. This app in terms of of its features were nice. It has lots of good tools to use and lets you choose how wide you would like your paintbrush (or whichever tool you're using) to be. I will be purchasing the full version because of how much I liked using this. I hope, for those who have been unsure, that this review has helped you.

Amazing!. This is fricking amazing and I would have paid $10 for it and the full version is only $2 I think (can't see the price anymore because it says, installed!). Adults with imagination will love this, and I think kids would die for it. Get it. The developer responded to my email quickly and informed me that the updates I was requesting were already in design!

It's decent. It's decent for a demo. I wish it could give you a bit more room for audio and maybe more frames. Though there is one problem I found, whenever I try to export one of my animations to the full version (which is a lot better) it won't really add it to the full version. I click Export to Full Version, I then click the full version icon, I then go to the full version to see if it's there, but it's not. Other than that it's ok. I suggest the full version more, but maybe you should get the demo to see if you're comfortable with it, then go get the full version. And another thing, it never tells you how to post! I wanna post an animation I did but I can't figure out how and I can't really find a video for it.

Can't import video. I can't import video and that's mainly what I'm looking for in an animation app

Good for those curious or just playing around.. I'd give this app a 4-star for those just curious about 2d animation or just playing around for fun. But for me, I'd like Apple Pencil pressure sensitivity support. I like my beautiful thick n thin lines. I don't know if the full unlocked app supports it or not, but until it is supported, I'm not paying for the full version. . . And so is a 3-star for me.

Worst app ever. I was in the middle of creating something and when I tried to zoom in and move the canvas the eraser removed part of my drawing. Took me a day to finish half of it. So i tried to fix it. Then the eraser stopped working. I spent 2 days on this project and was my first experience with this app. I was about done when this happened. The app has glitches and caused many mistakes i had to fix. Sometimes I'd put pencil marks down while i was zooming in/out on the canvas. If you don't want to waste your time don't get this. Was a waste of mine. Going to upgrade to procreate soon. Hopefully that doesn't have the problems this app does. Also it has way more options for a couple more $ compared to this app. I'd give it 0 stars if i could but i have to post one to get this through.

Fix payment problem. This app is a pretty cool animation app, it's really easy and great for beginners. I would have given 5 stars, but I bought and paid for the full $3.99 version and it was awesome! But I needed space on my iPad, so I had to delete it. After I freed some space I decided to re-downloaded the app and it made me pay $3.99 again. If I'm not mistaken isn't it that if you buy it once you have it forever. This app isn't the case, I still don't have the full version because I've already paid $8for it and I'm not about to pay $12. Overall good app, they should fix the payment problem though.

Assome. I love it because you can draw anything you want and take a picture for a background of color

It's good but. I have used many different animation things from flip note on the ds to just using paint and windows movie maker It's good because it has zoom witch wasn't on the one I use everything's great till it starts freezing I would also like to add my own music for when I make like birthday animation and would l Iike to upload it to Facebook if you could try to work that out it would be great

Not bad. I have very little complaints about this app, but there are two things that really bother me. 1) for the walking sequence that comes with the game, the lines shouldn't be able to be erased ( I know-me being nit picky :-p) and 2) you should be able to make more than three animations. The second one really makes me mad, but other than those two things the app is way worth it and the full version would be worth the money.

Need text tool and Dropbox import. I think I like this app best of the animation apps I've tried. However, I really need to be able to enter text from the virtual keyboard, and import images from my Dropbox. Keep up the good work, if I can make this work for my needs, I will upgrade to the paid version!

Works Really great!A must have for the Ametuer and Pro!. Instead of buying a animation program, which sometimes takes too many skills to master.i wish i just sit down and finish the work already,but,with this it's really easy and acts like a animation soft ware,but,with more easy tools for traditional animation,etc.!

Awesome. I really love this app my birthday just passed so I got money and just now got the full version haven't played it yet so I have been using this version it is really cool I can make nice, smooth animations that turn out really neat and I can make them however I want. Awesome app

Pretty good but.... This app is great, both free version and paid version, I would have given it a 5 star though if the onion skin effect was fixed. The onion skin effect is just broken pretty much in this app.

Bugs have destroyed a fantastic app!. It's been six days since the last update to this and the full version of ACHD. I have emailed support and heard nothing back. This is a wonderful and powerful app, and when the bugs are dealt with, I will of course amend my review. The worst bugs are the fill tool, the color dropper, zoom crashing the app, and scrubbing now being tilted on its side. I could live with most of these, but the fill tool malfunctioning renders this app almost useless. Please fix it! It is a wonderful app when working properly.

A really good app but you should read this... This is an amazing animation app and I love it but the onion skin affect does need more work like another person said because as you add more frames it gets harder to see previous ones like if your animation is 5 frames and you try to see what the 1st frame was it wouldn't work out the well for you :/

Animation express. Great app but the advertising goes on a little too much, in the middle of showing your friends an animation "upgrade to the full version" comes up and stops the playing animation.

It's good but 1 problem.... I made a animatic and I want to save it to my camera roll and I can't you can saves the frames but not the full animatic please make "saving the video (animation) to your camera roll PLEASE DO IT!!!!

Lite to full. Is there any way to send animations made in the Lite version to the Full Version? I made something I really like, got a bit too into it I guess, and now I have no way of sharing it. I have the full version now because I liked the program, but I think if there was a way to send animations from Lite to Full I would be much happier.

Good for no talent people - like me. I'm not a great animator but this works well everything is pre maid for you which I like and I'm getting full version

Can't Animate...... I've read all about this app, and it seemed great! But when I actually started animating, things got frustrating. First of all, I tried making a stick figure walk, but when I hit the play button, it automatically froze. Please fix that problem so I can actually make animation. Any ways, I rated this 3/5 stars!

Great Animation Tool :). Great Animation Tool for general to specific character animation! I have used this app everyday to animate motion and character concepts. (Plus, the ability to edit frame transitions in "play" is very useful!) Review. The app is pretty good. The only issues I have, would be the constant remainders of getting the actual app, and the frame limit. Literally 20 frames, isn't good enough to decide whether to buy the app or not. I say it's best to have 50 frames instead of a mere 20. The constant reminders to buy the app is fairly annoying. The best thing to do with that, is to remind the consumer but only when they finish an animation. Thank you for taking the time to read this.

Onion skin effect?. This app is very useful, except for the onion skin affect (where you can see the previous and next frames) doesn't work. It seems like the more frames I add, the dimmer the previous and next frames get. Is that something you can tamper with in the full version?
