Flawed. I would love to give this 5 stars, but it has a serious flaw. The voice (which is pleasant and friendly) only names a pictured object when it is touched. My 4-year-old usually will only touch the picture on the left to drag it, so that is the only picture named. When a match is made correctly, the voice-over needs to say the rhyming words together. This omission renders the app useless for teaching rhymes.

FUN. Great interactive app...wish the "preschool" in the title would be removed so my older/delayed students won't think this is too young for them.

Great app!. My kids love it! It is a good tool for speech therapy.

Nice. This is a really nice app. I would like to suggest that in your next update you consider changing the rhyming pair "rose"/"clothes" to "rose"/"close" as "clothes" does not rhyme with "rose" when the "th" is pronounced. Also it is hard to tell what some of the pictures are (e.g., rain/fog/snow) just by looking at them.

Rhyming n. This is another great app from Grasshopper! It says the pictures as you touch each one. It could have words that match more than one thing. Eye had to rhyme with fly, but did not work with tie. It would be good if there was a way to add written words after they are matched.

Too Basic. My 4 year old started playing this and just started matching the pictures before hearing the rhyming words. Although it does not let her put the wrong pictures together, but it also does not tell her the name of the pictures unless she clicks on the picture. This is confusing because she just clicks on the pictures and puts them wherever without hearing the sounds. Once she makes a match, she still hasn’t heard the rhyming words! I think it’s important for them to hear the rhyming words without needing to click on the pictures. Very frustrating!!

autism. I find that children with autism stim on the pictures bouncing back if they make an incorrect choice. However, they were going to stim anyway and I can be prompting while they are totally engrossed in the great images. Well done!

Rhyming words. The app needs to be supervised to work correctly. Children need to be taught to pay attention to the words and not just drag the pictures to a match. Great pictures. Children need to think about the word represented. Kinder teacher.

Great classroom app. The rhyming words are clear and easy to match. The children have an easy time working with this app.

Another great app from Grasshopper. My child loves it! Intuitive game play makes learning fun for her!

One issue. So far with all the children I've seen use this app they almost immediately started sliding tiles over and guessing at random without listening to both words. This might be difficult to work but it' s definitely an issue. Also it would be nice if after the match was made both words in the pair were spoken (one after the other).

need OS 7 update. I used to love alligator and grasshopper apps because you could record your own voice. ever since OS 7 that stopped working. repeated attempts to ask them for a fix has resulted in "I'm so sorry try another one of our apps. " while bitsboard is great I want the puzzle apps and the other "theme" apps to record new sounds! please fix what you have out on the market.

Rhyming beyond the basics. I've never seen an app from GrasshopperApps that I didn't like and once again they don't disappoint with this new rhyming app. Great, realistic graphics and a clear voice give this app an easy user interface for even the youngest users. The word choices go beyond the normal (and often tired) sets of rhyming words. The pairs are great conversation starters for deeper learning like similarities and differences and predictions. Fantastic way to get preschoolers ready for reading!

great app. I like this app overall. I like the quality of the photos and the voice. I like that it can be customized. Some of the matches are not common/overused which is great for increasing vocabulary as well(oil/soil).

Jrpb. I use this with my kindergarten class and they love it! Excellent app especially for children who have difficulty with hearing the rhyme.

Good app. Even though it only holds my daughter's attention for a short time it has really helped her with her ability to recognize rhyming words. She does open it and play it on her own so I know she enjoys it.

SLP girl. Great app. I use this all the time in my speech and language small groups. Great for keeping it a simple rhyming activity and great for more advanced naming skills. Wish we could control the ability to use basic CVC words.

Awesome. Customizable - could remove items which were too hard or not known to Aussie kids. And I love that it doesn't use written words! Obviously written by someone who knows about teaching!

Just an idea. It would be beneficial if you could hear both correct words said together once a correct match is made. My daughter just places anything together hoping the pieces stay but she's not listening to the words.
