Fantastic. Great app! I use it all the time with my kiddos and the pictures are very clear and specific to the verbs.

Mismatched. The word pronounced by the speaker does not match any of the provided choices. It is confusing to the child. 3 pictures shown of running, playing, and crying and the speaker says “touching”. Does not make any sense. Do not waste your money

Audio Does Not Match Photos. The words that the apps says (via audio) to describe or prompt selection of the actions in the photos do not match. This is across features and sets within the app. I hope they fix this soon or I will be wanting to be refunded. I was looking forward to using this, as I am a speech therapist. However, with the audio not working correctly I cannot use it with my students.

Great app. Very effective for working preschoolers who need to expand verb usage. Love that most flash cards have children as the subject.

Excellent job again. Although it is pretty much like Bitsboard, which I also adore, I like having a separate app, just for the verbs.

Not working right. The app is great and I love it but it doesn’t work right. The pictures do not correlate with the action the person is saying. If you turn the volume all the way off then you can use it. But I hope this issue gets fixed.

Crashing. I loved using this app last year as an SLP. Now, the app won’t open. It crashes every time. So disappointed. I tried deleting and reinstalling and it still crashes. Would love to use this app again if it would work.

Wonderful app. Wonderful for building vocabulary with my students.

Educational & Entertaining. My 2 yr old granddaughter loves this app!! She loves the verbal feedback & is so proud when she is rewarded with a sticker. I like that the app has many levels that allow her to keep learning as she ages.

Great idea but words don’t match pictures. I will update review once the problem of words not matching the pictures is fixed. Otherwise it can only be used on mute.

Well thought out app for FUN learning!. As a speech pathologist, I highly recommend this app! The pictures are so relevant, appropriately leveled and there are many varied activities so as not to tire students! I will use this for therapy as well as a fun activity with my 2 year old grandchild! WELL DONE!

Discord. Pictures do not match the action verbs. For example, the word “kissing” shows a baby in a bathtub, which is “bathing”. ALL of the photos are not matching. Theresa going to be some confused kids in this world,. I’m disappointed in you Innovative Investments, you have a history of outstanding learning apps for kids: how could you let this happen?

Nice action words.... Nice variety of action words. Many ways to meet your child's learning style. Numerous games to tailor to your child's needs. Not a big fan of the true or false section. My child has special needs and does not understand true and false ...maybe find a way to use yes and no.

Great app. Graphics are wonderful! Love the quality photos. Very helpful and useful for several age levels of clients.

Not what I was hoping for. I was so looking forward to using this app, but then so disappointed to find out that the pictures don’t match the audio prompts!! I will continue to use it, turning the volume down and giving her the cues myself, but I hope they will fix the app because it’s the closest one to the one she’s already using in her speech therapy and loves it! I know she would love to be able to navigate it herself especially the games:):)

Easy to play. As a grandmother I have a real problem using apps with my younger grandsons. What is easy and obvious to my children and older grandchildren is usually beyond my understanding. This app is intuitive and perfect for my two-year old and nine-year-old special needs grandsons. I look forward to showing them what I've figured out. No doubt they will be teaching me more than I figured out on my own. The pictures are beautifully done and I know the boys will identify with them and the words. Thank you so much.

Not working properly. The app is exactly what I was looking for and the pictures along with the games are great. However, the pictures do not correlate with the action the person is saying. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app multiple times to see if this would correct the problem but it was unsuccessful. I tried to connect with support through the app but it would never take me there. I hate to leave this review because I think the app would be perfect if it was working properly. Hopefully someone from support can contact me or fix this soon.

Minnesota ESL Teacher. This Action Verb app using Bitsboard is the best for English Learners! Students connect better with authentic photos and the diversity of children used in the photos is appreciated. Keep looking for Alligator Apps, they rock!

Great App!!. I I am always on the lookout for a new phone app to teach my kids. This one fits the bill and it's fun too!!

Audio and visual don’t match. The pictures are great, the variety and range of actions are great, but the audio does not match the pictured action. That makes most of the features impossible to use correctly, because it prompts you to find something that doesn’t match. Seems like it should be an easy fix, but it’s been like this for a few years now.

Audio Does Not Match Pictures/Text. This is a great concept. I love the real photos. I love the different options for learning with the pictures. However, the app will not be as useful to me due to the audio not matching. Please fix so I can leave a better review. Still usable to an extent if audio is off.

Label & Picture do not match. I just purchased this app to use with my preschool students. I started exploring the activities and quickly realized the pictured action does not match the label being provided! I saw a picture of sleeping but the app repeatedly said “crying.” I changed activities and action levels but it was consistently wrong. How do I get this fixed?

Action verbs... Great app. This app is great, not only are you showing the word, and the pronunciation but you have included pictures. This type of reinforcement can be used in so many different ways with a wide variety of kids that learn on different levels... Great job

Nice!. Lots of good activities and pictures. I just downloaded it and am going to use it with students next week. Even if these are the same pics as on Bitsboards...I like the activities...and the organization.

Action verbs. This app has helped my students to decide which verbs are action and which are not. Great app.

Pictures do not match with the audio. No good at all. In all the levels and activities the pictures do not match with the audio or the answers. I tried to communicate with them and I was never able to do it.

Great for a while. I enjoyed this app a lot when I first downloaded it. I have not been able to access it for months now. I’ve emailed the developer twice and never heard back. I’ve deleted the app and reinstalled. If the app was working, I would give it 5 stars. So sad the developers aren’t keeping up with it.

Robbery. Downloaded the app even though reviews said the voice and video were out of sync (I would have muted it anyway). The app does not open and the links to support do not work. Very frustrated. If the app is obsolete TAKE IT OFF THE APP STORE!!!

Wonderful addition to my app collection!. I can't wait to use this with my students who need work on verb actions. So much more than a simple "name the picture" app. I love the variety of activities and know my students will enjoy the Bingo and Matching games. 5 stars in my book! Thank you!

Photographs show the action of the verb. Great app for introducing verbs. I know it will be helpful for my students. There are a few glitches that I noticed. Waking up is read for waking, celebrating is read as cheering. These are both in the last set, I believe. This is confusing for beginner readers. A quick fix and the app is great!

Awesome app!. As a speech pathologist, I have found the pictures and varied activities helpful for a variety of language needs.

Nice visuals but at least one spelling error. I used the app for 45 seconds and found one spelling error (scarring for scaring). Made me wonder if there are others. Otherwise nice addition to the bit boards platform.

Useful. Easy to use, good pictures and games. Just wondering though, are these the same actions as are available on BitsBoard? Is there a reason to have both?

Confusing for early learners and incorrect. This app would be great if most all the pictures weren’t incorrect and with incorrect audio. I will be requesting a refund as it’s practically non-functional as it is, hardly anything is correct.

Can’t even open app. Bought this and have not even been able to try it out...every time I click on the app to open it...it shows the start screen and closes instantly or asks for my Apple ID, I put it in, and it still doesn’t open....very frustrating...

Speech Therapy. As an SLPA in Tennessee providing therapy services to elementary through high school, I'm already in love with this app. It has nine units of increasing difficulty and the variation in how material can be presented (bingo, flash cards, memory, field of three, written prompt, voice prompt) and the built in child lock make it an applicable tool for most of my language delayed kiddos. It is not working. I see the great potential of this app to work in my speech-language therapy sessions with children. However, all the pictures and their labels are mixed. It is impossible to use because the picture does not go with the label; please correct it.

Great app. As a special education teacher, I'm always looking for ways to improve students' creative writing. This will help, along with helping ELL students with increasing language skills.

Good for learning words!. Much more fun for kids to do this on an iPad than on paper.

Words/Audio don’t match. I’m having the same problem that another user posted. The audio does not match the picture, it appears to be completely random. Great in theory, but that needs to be fixed.

Broken, mismatched audio to pics. This USED to be a good app when I used it many years ago, but now that I have downloaded it to a new iPad, the audio played does NOT match the pictures shown, rendering it completely useless. For example it will say “cooking” but the correct answer in the game you are supposed to pick for that is a boy swimming. Please fix, this was a great app!

Helpful. Good for teaching action identification. Is there a way to select just certain ones to work on and then have the choose the pic that is doing that action? That's really all that's missing. Otherwise a very good app.

Well the voice is describing actions that is not matching the picture.. The app is clearly not functioning and I just paid money for this app. My autistic daughter doesn’t need more language confusion. Very disappointed.

Scam. It’s the worst app ever, grasshopper apps are very big scam. I doesn’t work , picture is kicking but voice over is brushing for all flash cards and this is not first time even their other app abc games by grasshopper is also same e.g child is ask to find a from given choices but child is not correct until chooses p for a. I need my money back immediately. They don’t response to emails they are scammers

Love It!. I love bitsboard but get overwhelmed with all the board options. This is a perfect size and nicely organized.

Shuts down since iOS upgrade. This was a good app till they didn’t upgrade when new iOS came out in January 2023

Not working. It is compatible with my iPad but after starting the app it disappears in a few seconds. It only works on my phone, however, the kids are not allowed to use it. I didn’t get any help either.

Lable errors. The spoken labels do not match the pictures. The app will say “brushing” when the picture is a child popping bubbles. It seems like a great app but the errors make it difficult to use with children.

Used to be good. The audio doesn’t match with the pictures. A real shame, because I used to use this app a lot.

Verbal output is not what the image is showing. The action pictures do no correlate to the words being said aloud. Should be an easy fix.

Does not work. I have IOS 12 on my iPad. I installed the app and when I clicked on the icon, it started to initialize but then booted me out repeatedly. I uninstalled the app and then reinstalled it at least 3 times with the result. Very unhappy customer.

Terrible. All of the pictures have the wrong voice recording. For example, a picture of a girl smiling might say “crawling” when it’s clicked.
