No sound on iPad app. A while ago the app worked great. Now I can hear a ding when a game downloads, but NO sound within the app. Works ok on iPhone but NOT the iPad. Update: Received the following from the developer and it works! “Hello, and thank you for your review! We are aware of a change on iOS devices that affects sound in our games, and we are working towards a resolution as fast as we can. We have found that toggling 'Silent Mode' or 'Mute' may temporarily resolve some users' issues. Some iOS devices have a small switch on the side or top edge, which can toggle this mode. Toggle the switch to unmute audio. If your device does not have a physical switch that controls this mode, you can find this toggle in Control Center. For older iPads, swipe up from the bottom of the home screen. For newer iPads, swipe down from the top-right corner. Once the Control Center appears, find and tap the bell icon to unmute audio.”

Meh. I got this for myself when I was little (like maybe 4 years old) and 6 years later I still have it! It’s usually because I get bored and have nothing else to do, so it takes care of my boredom, but there are issues! I downloaded a game and when it looked like it downloaded, it actually wasn’t downloaded! I had to download it again! Another issue is when I played a game, like Agent Checkup, form Odd Squad, it would freeze! I am still a kid and really enjoy this app, but I think you need to fix this! Maybe I’ll even have this when I’m older! I enjoy the game and it’s very fun! My little brother likes it to! I’ll probably have this game for a long time! I also watch the pbs kids videos! I also learned a lot when I was young with this game! That’s pretty much it and thanks for reading! 👋👍🙂

Wonderful, but last update.... My son and I play these games together regularly. He loves them, they give us lots of new things to interact over, and they have seeded some new interests for him. Thanks to Cookie Creator, for example, my boy got very interested in all of the measurements and following instructions in recipes and even makes some predictions about the kinds of cookies we’re making based on how much of the ingredients we use. The good games are really good, engaging, and help to develop key skills, and most of the games are good. Everything was fine until the last update. We were playing one of the games yesterday, and he wanted to switch to another, but all but four of the games we had downloaded had disappeared, including the one we had just been playing. (We generally play offline, even when a network is available, to keep things limited to the age-appropriate games I have selected for download.) Later, when I got back online to download the games again, it clearly has reset the storage limit, and I can’t for the life of me find the “grown-ups” settings menu to set it back. After about ten minutes, it also changed my home PBS station, which I had previously set in settings—perhaps because I am on the road?

Awesome but something happened after downloading it.. So we always watch pbs kids here and we are big fans of pbs so I just wanted to say after I downloaded it . So I played for one day and the next day boom….. I tried opening up the app and the game was literally loading for like a minute or so and I know I’m supposed to be patient but the loading was oddly slow loading so I tried deleting the game and downloaded it again but it still didn’t work! PS : I am not saying that you guys are terrible at programming or anything, like I said, we are a big fan here so if you could fix that flaw that would be awesome! PSS: that’s also why I gave you 4 stars but it would of been a five if this wasn’t a flaw.

Generally well done. Not sure when it happened, but now the levels in the rover builder game don’t unlock after completing. My child has a fit when he has to restart each time. There are a few games that freeze and annoy my child and daddy has to fix it, but on the whole very appropriate and engaging activities for my youngest child. I wish the grown up settings were lockable or a separate app. That one child keeps clearing or reducing the space and wiping the downloaded games; then has a fit they are all gone. Which takes me about a half hour to redownload.

Awesome app. I love the game so much my sister and I enjoy playing all the games. My sister ism3 years old and is going into pre school next week. I originally downloaded pbs kids games because I could tell she was bored on the road trip and her tablet had ran out of battery. I thought it would be fun and it would keep her occupied and it 100% did. She enjoyed playing the pinkalicous games and the Sesame Street games. I think children who are going to school for the first time should try pbs kids. Or if a parent is trying to keep their child/children occupied.

Good but some details…. This is a great app, but I would like it if you brought back kart kingdom, cause kart kingdom racing would be a little bit lonely without all the other games, and since kart kingdom is gone as the other games going to be gone I’m a bit confused about that so I’d like it if you added him a game in Lila in the loop we can explore our neighborhood big and make a character play with her and make groups once the one more thing I want to know if there’s a game where we can make us do avatar because that would be so cool OK developers please read this oh, and I’m just using the microphone so if I’m not going back and editing anything that’s my mistake

PBS. I have just discovered this app from the PBS kids and I love it! I remember watching Sesame Street as a child. When I had children of my own I was weary of what they may be exposed to when they were going to be outside of our home. Equally I was concerned about television and what was going to be off limits for them also what I was comfortable with them watching especially when I might not be able to watch it with them in case they have questions etc.. Now here I am a Grandma in a world where there is nowhere that a person isn’t subject to social media and/the internet no matter how young or old. I am thankful for having PBS. They are always there helping to give a hand in the social education of all of us. I like that they do not push any specific views or opinions. They simply try to bring awareness of the world around you. I think they would be an excellent tool for everybody no matter their background to help in the development of a child to become responsible peaceful happy adults one day! Three generation and counting they have been an influence in my family’s raising children into becoming the best adult we could hope for! Praises to PBS!!

Please read this. This game has 2 problems: 1: freezing 2: Donkey’s Froyo Stand I’ll start with freezing first. So, I got this game for my 3 year old brother. He was playing Arthur’s Top 20 when all of a sudden the app froze. Of course, it went back to normal after a few seconds, but I’d still like it to not freeze at all. It also froze when we were exiting a game, I had to close the tab and go back to the app. Please fix this freezing thing. Ok, and my second problem is Donkey’s Froyo Stand. My brother was playing it, and it was the same order every time! That’ll definitely get plain and boring. Overall, this app is good. It’s very educational and fun. My brother actually laughs when he loses a game. You know why? Because when you lose a game on this app, they don’t make it sad and boring, they make it funny and enjoyable. Of course, it can get a bit annoying when he loses purposefully 😂 but hey who cares? I love PBS, I love their TV, and their contests and their apps. I actually joined the PBS kids Nebraska writing competition. Anywho, please fix this freezing problem. And please make it so that every froyo order is different while playing Donkey’s Froyo stand. Poorly designed game queue. My kids love the PBS apps but this one (Games) has one huge frustration. Maybe older kids can pace themselves on loading games but my littles don't understand that the one they chose last will have to wait for the 15 (or however many) others they clicked first to load. It either needs to not let them choose a new one until the last one gets done OR allows the user to pause or end a game from loading. That way when they see one they'd rather play, they aren't stuck waiting on games they no longer want. It'd also help if you knew which game was next to load. I've even closed the app and reopened hoping we could start the "load queue" over but it remembers and resumes with the long line of games. Once the games load it's a great app! My two just rarely wait around for it.

It is amazing. I’ve been playing this since kidAnd I’m still playing it I give it to my iPad to my cousins and they always pick this certain app they have so much fun with it but they’re too impatient I have to download all the games before I give it to them if I don’t download any of the Pinkalicious game they will get mad at me and start screaming and crying but overall this is a very very very good game I recommend this to any parents it educates the them End it has fun games for them when they’re done and if you get a video one it is awesome too and thank you for reading this bye

Complicated for little ones to navigate. My son and I adore this app. I love that it is free, and I love the variety it has and the fact that it’s an app that can grow with him. I love that it is safe, and there are no ads or links that can take him anywhere I don’t want him to be. It’s so wonderful that it’s free, and I’m so grateful for that!! I haven’t found /any/ other app like it. But I have one tiny suggestion that will make it significantly better for us. There are so many games on this app, and a lot of them are meant for older kids. My phone is always connected to WiFi, and so when he plays by himself, he tends to download games that he just can’t understand, and then he gets stuck in them and frustrated. And so I was wondering if you could add a toggle switch on the grownups page, to toggle between “Show all games” and “show only downloaded games” on the home page. That way it will be easier for him to choose his own games and only play the ones he knows how to play, but when he gets a little older and gains more skills, I can see them all and choose new ones for him. 5 stars, if someday there is that option. 4 stars for now, because it’s just too hard for him to use.

Love, love, love!. This is an awesome game! It is great for children to learn more about different subjects from all places. There is math based games, writing, creative imagination, and what I love about that is that all the games are made from kids favorite shows on PBS kids or other channels that you can find them as well. Your kids will love playing this game all the time! The best age range in my opinion is 3-8, but if an older kiddo also wants to play it, then they might find a great game for them too! My 10 year old had this game since she was little and still sometimes wants to play it! 100% recommended. 😀

Monkey Mayhem. So my kid loves PBS everything. Especially this app so he can play along to all of his favorite cartoons. His favorite game ever is Wild Kratts Monkey Mayhem and for good reason.. it’s fun! A few weeks ago all the control buttons disappeared off of the Monkey Mayhem game on our iPad and we haven’t seen them since. If I open the app on my phone they game works but for some reason it won’t work on the iPad. My son checks every time he opens the app. I waited for the new update and still nothing. While we love the other games, we miss monkey mayhem. Please help.

Disappointed with continually having to re-download games. It seems that the frustrations I have with this app are the same ones that parents were reviewing about a year ago - losing downloaded games at random and having to re-download. I have set the space allowance high on purpose to supposedly not have this happen, and yet whenever I have updated the app we lose games, which is super frustrating for my five year old and me as well, especially as we live in a remote place and don’t have the best internet access all the time. On top of this issue, the interface is such that when scrolling through the games my child often accidentally clicks them which begins the downloading process, which can not be stopped! We currently have over thirty games attempting to load which have been going nowhere for weeks. If I was able to at least pause some of the open downloads we might have some success but I have not found any way of doing this. My daughter and I loved this app at the start but it has become so frustrating she barely chooses to play on it now. If these issues were fixed, this app would be very highly rate in my opinion, but with the current issues, it’s only mediocre. If I’m missing something that fixes these problems, please let me know.

Fantastic app with a few minor glitches. I am so impressed with this *free* app from PBS Kids. It’s my girls’ first choice when they get iPad time, and the quality of the games is remarkable. They are fun and educational, even for young kids. There are a few games that are a bit advanced for my kids, but there are PLENTY at their level (and I’m always surprised at what they are able to figure out). There have been a few bugs we’ve noticed: The Daniel Tiger dress-up game often freezes, the volume will randomly shut off and we have to quit and reopen the app to turn it back on, and some apps (Sid the Science Kid for one) doesn’t include a button for getting back to the home screen. These are pretty insignificant things that barely interrupt game-play. I’d give the app 4.5 stars if I could, but because of the rating system, I gave it 4.

It’s actually not too bad. I mean some of the games I actually do like but some of them I mean like some of the characters in some of the games like boss you around I don’t like that it’s like baby hazel, but it’s not there’s different games like there’s different apps in baby Hazel so like like it it’s not too bad I mean when I was littler I liked it more but I just give it 3 stars because now I’m seven years old and I don’t know why it just gives me that feeling like it’s going to go in my nightmares like usually I feel like I’m gonna have a nightmare, even though I don’t so yeah it doesn’t do bad like now I am terrified of him because he always smiles and he always feel sad and I feel good about that. Just like Sophie from cherry Pop productions gaming like hates baby Hazel and I hate Daniel Tiger now this is like it isn’t too bad like but I mean it could be a bit better like Daniel Tiger gets replaced from for like like a different version of Toca life world because it is educational and like you can like imagine stuff in Toca life world it’s it’s yeah that’s good and it’s for kids like it’s honestly pretty good not too bad like sometimes it gets a bit glitchy though but yeah it’s fine

OK. Well for starters it’s not the best game but for young children it’s amazing I loaded this game for all my children and well and really all the young ones with crazy over it 😂😂 I don’t not recommend this game for older children probably past the age of 7 The games are the best either some of them are fun. But mostly all the games are boring😴👎🏻 I mean I do you consider loading it if you have young children past the age of seven but mostly it’s not the best game I love all of the games well most of them😒 some of them can be very annoying and drive me crazy😡 it also freezes a lot which is very annoying😤😤 I mean overtime your kids will most likely get bored of it my kids only lasted about two months before they all deleted the app soooooo Great game find for a little kids but Meh fine I guess 🙄🙄

Great games but very buggy and freezes constantly. My daughter loves the games. I just wish some of the games didn’t constantly freeze up or slow down. The Odd Squad Sector 21 game is her favorite, but it starts to get buggy pretty soon after playing it. It’s painstakingly slow to move the character through the terrains to find creatures, or the markers (like rocks or trees) you’re supposed to get to aren't even there (but you can still search in that spot and the animal can still be found - you just can’t see the animal either. It’s disappoint because the app has such great content. We’ve deleted and reinstalled the app several times. Our iPad and iPhones that have the app on them have plenty of space and we run the most current iOS.

PBS kids is really fun. It’s fine, fun and education for kids I would say two to 14 the games are good, but they don’t load that fast as soon as they’re made and published I like the way that they’re made in each state for the PBS and I’m happy that they made this game to go with the live TV PBS Kids that’s why I really like your kids and PBS in this game doesn’t mean the way that a lot of people would say it public broadcasting it’s OK that’s why at least 10 minutes. A day is very very good. so I come to a conclusion that the title of this game is written to be five stars.

There’s a real child writing this review. I don’t know if you know this but I have a friend who is going through the process and I am trying my hardest not only for the last couple weeks to see what she can come out of this and I will let her now and then but she has to go to work tomorrow and then she has a lot to go on so I’m not really worried but I’m sure you can figure out something that she needs and she will get through this with her in a little while but I’m not really concerned with the rest I know it’s hard for her and I’m just worried that she’s not sure if she has the time or if she needs help

This app is great, but…. So this app allows you to play games. I love the Arthur games that I can play on this app, but there used to be an app titled Arthur’s Big App, and basically, you would play mini games to unlock characters from the show. If you won a mini game, you would earn a star. If you lost a mini game, you would lose a lucky pencil. Lucky pencils were basically your lives in the game, and players could keep playing the game until they lost all five of their lucky pencils. Once you earned five stars, you would unlock a new character. The only problem is that the game got removed from the App Store a few years ago, and I would really appreciate it if someone would bring it back to the App Store so that people who never did get a chance to play it, but still wanted to play it can finally play the game.

Pretty good, but needs a little fix. Whenever I get a bunch of games on it before I’m going to trips it always justs Makes the beeping noise and then later when I look at the games to see if I like them I always just make some like deleted and then after press the thing again, so I think that needs to be a change. But this app is super good and I think it’s super fun stuff. I just think that some of the things need to change. The things I said, and I think that this is a great app for kids and stuff and even grown-ups like it😱😱😱🤯🤯🤯I think that this app is a great way to use the Internet and please get back to me as soon as possible. Love it, but it’s not that great. Hi, I’m seven years old and my name is saraya and I love to write reviews of course so PBS Kids is good. I mean I play regularly. I really like the scribbles and ink. I really like to draw and I like it so off-line so when you’re like want to play PBS Kids and you’re like off-line there is so many glitches. I’m serious like every time I like to tap on something I have a tablet like 1 million times and it’s like and it gives me this notification like I don’t I don’t really remember cause I haven’t been playing this game for a while but I think I might be doing updates but I think I might get a new like thing give me notification. Oops there is something going on with your thing, please check iCloud and stuff and I’m like what it’s not. It’s not good but it’s really good that.

Very good app but a few problems. This is a very good app but i suggest you add More games to Xavier riddle and the secret museum and other tv shows but i have something to say my brother also plays this and he is four and it takes so long for the apps games on his iPad to load and he cant control his wait time cause he is only four And on iPhone it loads very quickly i suggest you put the same speed on iPad and iPhone So more people want to play and my brother plays this after we get home on Thursday Friday and when he finishes school work on Monday and Tuesday Wednesday.

Wonderful app, with one suggestion.. I LOVE this app and so does my son. However, one feature I would request is the ability to reset a particular game. Clearing the local game storage from within the app does not fix all bugs. For instance, this most recent update included Rosie's Rules games. Awesome! My son is so excited for this show that he dances to the promotion trailers. So when the games came out, it's all he wants to play, specifically the slime game. But the game can dead end you by allowing you to run out of both money and ingredients, leaving my kid crying because he can't play the game any more. Exiting the game or app, force quitting, nothing fixes it. I wind up having to completely uninstall and reinstall the PBS Kids games app, it gets tiresome. So please guys! Maybe allow the game to reset entirely when you exit out of the game or the app. My only ever hiccup I've experienced, otherwise I recommend this to every single parent I know.

Recommend!. Love this app for my 3 year old. He can do many of the games himself, I sit with him when he tries a new one out to help him understand how to play, and there is a few apps he is still to young for and needs my help. Love the variety and the educational aspect of it! Definitely recommend this app compared to other single game apps. If your kid’s tablet has the space, increase the app’s settings to 5 GB for offline storage for travel. Definitely worth the download. Update: my son is now 4.5 and still comes back to the app all the time. The games are engaging and educational. It feels like there are always new games available because of the amount and variety of games there are. I really wish developers would increase the amount of storage the app can use for offline storage.

Help. Our son loves the game but on our 2 iPad 7. The app is stuck at the first splash screen. It flashes white for a second and then goes to the splash screen with the loading icon spinning. This game is keeping our kid sane and us by association. Please help🤪now it’s only working on our phone so he keeps trying to steal my phones on me because it won’t load on either one of the iPads. I have to uninstall the app completely and reinstall it and then it only works for a couple days if I’m lucky please fix the bugs.

Good;multiple games have multiple problems. I love this game but it has A LOT of problems. Odd Squad: In this game, sound is important. Without it, you can hardly get the instructions. However, this section often has the noise almost fuzzy, meaning that it becomes annoying, so I either mute it or turn it down till I can hardly hear it. And on the last area of Sector 21, almost all of the area that you couldn’t walk on was red instead of showing the trees and rocks. And on both that area AND some of the areas before that one it didn’t show the animal, a thing on that level, something else, or a mix between!

Please read developers very important!. Hi! I’m 9 and I just want to tell you I love this game! It’s very educational and I love how you made it educational! It’s so fun, and I love wild Kratts, Rosie’s slime store, and secretly 🤫 Daniel Tiger. I love all these games! But however their are some problems… … … … … … … … … an that is no problems! Lol tricked ya! And it’s very educational and they teach you animals, feelings, even math kind of but it’s fun! An anyways, I just love PBS kids. And I’m sorry about the last review I made. Roll to the rescue is great but it could be better.. In creative mode it should have more levels like 7 or 8 levels, And As much space in level 12, and it should have gears, and a optional tutorial, To learn about simple machines, Instead of 6 levels worth of tutorial, And more adventure levels, Like 30 or more, Though I do like that you have to do 6 levels to get to create levels of your own that stays the same, Thank you If you do! Please do it asap! I’m 11 by the way. It would get me to play it more. Please and thank you if you do. That is all.

TECHNICAL ISSUE- Kart racing erases your progress. HUGE TECHNICAL ISSUE WITH RACING GAME. In the last several months, THREE TIMES my kid has had her progress in the racing game completely erased. All of the tough and hard races she had unlocked and the new racers, all gone. It took her so long to work for it and finally on the third time she ended up in tears that she had worked so hard over and over to get there, only to have it erased and her start at the beginning. And there doesn’t seem to be any way to report it. It seems to have happened with one of the recent updates. The other games are great for the most part and I highly recommend them. But this glitch needs to be fixed immediately.

And. Guys for real I love this game I’m in the 4th grade I’m literally 9 year old and I was going to make a game called classy baby and it’s was a read, writing drawing,games,math. And thank you but a game called classy baby what the heck. The freaky and the best I love the pink girl and Rosie rule and that slime game and I love molly kitchen food for winter and I love the bread game amen I love the pink girl game beach day and. Best kids app ever. I can’t recommend this app more, it’s great. I have it for my kids to play to keep them awake in the car when necessary, and it’s been great for ages 2 and up. They absolutely love it, there are so many games to choose from and they’re all different, interesting, and educational. Very occasionally it gets a little buggy, but I still give it 5 stars and would give more if possible! The best part is there are no ads, so nothing gets clicked accidentally (or purposefully) to take the kids out of the app.

There’s a little bug...... So starting with, THIS IS THE BEST GAME EVER. RECOMMEND FOR THE LITTLE ONES. but, there is a little bug that’s really, I mean REALLY annoying. Rosies rules doesn’t show in the side bar for clicking characters to see their games for my little sis. And she LOVESSSS ROSIES RULES. Pls fix this bug! and also when i click on the games that aren’t downloaded, it NEVER downloads. idk if it’s because i have a model 7. i’ve had pbs kids games app for 5 years now. what’s wrong with it? even though i got this in preschool and i’m headed to 4th grade, i still love this app. and could you lower the space for this app? it takes up so MUCH storage! and we also need a search bar to type certain games we want. it’s like whenever i’m looking for something, i never find it. i have to go up and down 2 times just to find “nature cat.” and add more lyla and the loop games! me and my sister love, i mean ACTUALLY love lyla in the loop. especially the littlest. i’m sorry if your reading this instead of making more games. and sorry for the people who ACTUALLY read this review instead of doing important stuff. well it’s 21:19! i’m military to,e for me. I hate this buggy app with the fire of a thousand suns. On some of our iOS devices, this app has no sound, and on some, it crashes frequently. It works (usually) on my wife’s iPhone, and (sometimes, crashing often) on my iPad, and (sometimes, crashing a lot) on my old iPhone; but not at all on my brand-new, fully-updated iPhone. Reboots, toggles, settings, reinstalls — nothing fixes it if it doesn’t work: Take it from a programmer that this app is just *buggy*. The sound issues are widely reported online and have been for *years*; I wouldn’t expect them to be fixed soon. If I could rate this app zero stars for all the screaming fits it’s produced in my household from preschoolers who don’t understand why their games won’t work, I absolutely would. Don’t install this; you’ll be glad you didn’t.

Kart Racer game is broken!. The new Kart Racer game is broken! Every single time I try to play Greens Hill, the guy Flash beats me and I get in second place. It happens EVERY SINGLE TIME, so I’m assuming it’s a bug. I’ve been stuck on Greens Hill for a long time, trying to get first place. That’s a bummer because you have to get first place on every race to get to the next level. Games that are a copy ever single time you play them are NO FUN, so please fix this. I’m a kid, so there’s not much I can do. Please don’t reply with a bot response or something calling me a “bad loser”. Thank you!

I like this but. I like this but when I’m trying to download my games, you know like you have to download it, but it kicked me out when I was trying to download my other game and I don’t know what happened but can you please fix this? End it even have bugs. This is supposed to have bugs because it’s not working. It closes me out when I’m trying to play my other game. It is kicked me out I open it back up but it kicks me out but I opened it back up and bring me a bring me back but guess what it literally what I’m trying to download. My other game is literally closing me out and I don’t know what happened but can you please fix this and please because I don’t know what happened but. autos other people maybe like not having issues, but am I the only one having it because I’m not on the only girl over here that doesn’t have it and yes I’m a girl by the way, but I don’t know what happened anywhere can you please fix this thank you! Great free app!. My 4 year old son loves this app and can always find new games to play. It keeps his attention and he learns which this momma appreciates. The Sesame Street game “Show me the Cookies” has a glitch. There is a part of the game where you have to match things that go together (bee to hive, frog to lily pad, etc). We have tried this game on two different phones but every time the picture won’t let you drag it. As soon as you move it, it goes to the middle picture on the right. Over and over again. Just wanted you to know. Aside from that we haven’t had any issues. Thanks!

Application good, but has problems. My grandsons 7 and 4 liked this app. I think some of the games are a little strange, but maybe that’s the limited instructions they give. To figure out how to play them. One game, appears backwards to me-you have to move items to make a course with a conveyor belt. On my Kindle Fire HD, the app won’t load anymore. Deleted app and reloaded - still didn’t fix it. On my IPad, some of the games don’t do anything when you press the play button (Wild Kratt’s Under the Sea to name one). Both these problems just started happening on the devices.

It needs a few changes it’s been hard so I suppose you make it so it will have like the app downloads with games and apps and I suppose you make it download faster like taking 4 minutes or less and I suppose that you like make the games easier for little kids and a button where it says easy, hard and medium then all of the bad reports will turn into good reports I have one more change please make it so people will not have bad reports it makes me sad that the bad reports are kind of slowing down your business so if you make those changes people are going to love this app so much they would like to play it all the time so do those changes then no bad reports will send to you so do these few changes so everyone will love this app and wish that they never sent those bad reports so those will turn to good reports

Great game with a few problems. I love PBS Kids. I loved it when I was little and I love it now, but there’s always been a few problems is that it doesn’t progress and that can be kind of annoying if I spend hours on a game and come back to a little while later, and all of my progress is gone. Another problem is that it randomly loses its volume. I’ve checked the volume on my settings. It’s at full and the volume still doesn’t come back for a while. Hope you read this and try to fix the problems.

I love PBS it’s perfect. FIX!!. 1: When I was little I played one of the odd squad games called Cases. But I went somewhere (I forgot most of what I thought of saying) and all the tubes were filled up I and something came up and freaked me out so badly that i turned off my tablet and never played cases, 2:a another game I played called The Monster At The End Of This Game had a glitch (this problem wasn’t as bad as the odd squad Cases one.) and the glitch was after you wait a while, you cannot tap any of the buttons(except the exit game one). 3: the kart kingdom racing game was fun but had many problems one problem is that a level called lively bones is so spooky and still scares me EVEN THOUGH IM 9!!!!!! Another problem for the kart kingdom racing is that the levels are so advanced or even HARDCORE! One level took me 60 DAYS TO COMPLETE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So please fix

Fun Games for young children thoughmany bugs. My son has been loving playing games in this app since pre-k. Over the past couple of months, we have tried updating the app but no matter what we try, we cannot get any sound to play in the games. We have tried a few games and nothing works. Sometimes the scroll on the right side of the screen sticks so we cannot select different shows either. I would have loved to leave feedback within the app instead of in the app store but could not find a any place to leeave feedback. Once these issues are addressed, we would love to come back and play our favorite games again! Aside from these bugs, I highly recommend this app for your child!

Could be so much better. This app is so close to being awesome, so I’m sad to give it such a low score. The app has a lot of really great individual games. But there are so many silly things holding back the app as a whole. 1. I can’t figure how to access adult settings. Other reviewers have mentioned some kind of menu for adults, but I can’t find it on iPhone or on iPad 2. I should be able to download every game if I want to. My iPad has plenty of unused storage space. Even if I can’t have or don’t need every game available from this app, I should at least be able to choose which one gets deleted to make more space. Right now the app automatically removes the one that was downloaded the longest time ago. There are some I want to keep available at all times! 3. The app should have the games sorted by age level. Some are for toddlers, some are for preschoolers, some for kindergarten, etc. I shouldn’t have to test every game so extensively to know if it’s appropriate

Probably the best game to sweep away boredom. Hi! 👋 so I used to play this alot when I was little, 8 years later, I’m 13 and I play it still every now and then to sweep away my boredom when I have nothing else to do lol! 🤣 I play the originals, like monkey mehem, or how ever you spell it, however, there has been this problem around forever where you keep having to download the same games over and over again. Good but imperfect. I haven’t had the app long but I and my 2 boys like it so far. I just have one complaint. They love Word Girl and so like to play Pretty Princess Magical Rescue. Not the most educational but at least there’s a tiny bit of vocabulary at the beginning. However, each time they reach the end of a game scene by collecting the 5 flowers, a man’s voice says there is a riddle to solve and then nothing else happens. Nothing comes up or is said further. We can’t find anything to click on except the X to exit. It’s like it just freezes there so we can go no further in the adventure. I am hopeful this can be fixed and maybe there will be a little more vocabulary or educational component with the riddles too! Otherwise we just only get to go through the first stage of each scene.

Broken games after update. This is my child’s favorite app to play games on. It’s part of her routine and children don’t like change. She was very upset with how the app looks now. Also her favorite game Puppy Quest is unplayable as you cannot move the ball towards the puppies. The update also reset all of her level progress on every game and she’s very upset about not being able to play the levels she wants to play and having to start over at level 1. This has caused a lot of stress to my child. I’ve tried everything to make it work made sure all devices are updated and silent mode is not on and it just isn’t working.

Great games, one suggestion. My kids (5 and 3) love the PBS Kids games and I love that it is a safe app focused on education. One thing that I will suggest for an update is to allow a filter to only show games that are already downloaded. There are just so many games and it can be overwhelming to find the one they’re interested in or to encourage them to try a new one, without them seeing tons of others. Another idea could be to organize the full list by those downloaded at the top first.

It is amazing. Fun but I can’t play a game I like plz fix this. So I really like this game it makes my little sister learn I love this game. But there’s a game called Hal’s Big Dig and a long time ago I used to love this game because it was fun. But now whenever I try to play Hal’s Big Dig it’s just a black screen and nothing is happening so I can’t play Hal’s Big Dig. This problem has been going on for months maybe even a couple years so I want you to fix that issue so I can play my favorite game again. Plz do that thank you for understanding.

Good idea, poor execution.. For an app meant for small children, this needs a lot of work. Some of the games are super cute but my toddler can't understand what is downloaded and what isn't, and many aren't appropriate for his age so I don't want him downloading games that are too difficult and wasting data. There should be a setting where little guys can only click games that moms and dads downloaded for them. The other issue is, at first I couldn't even figure out how to get the games. If I accidentally click on one I can't turn off he download. It won't let me delete one app at a time either. Now I can click on them but it just sits there and won't load (months have gone by and no new games load).

I hate this buggy app with the fire of a thousand suns. On some of our iOS devices, this app has no sound, and on some, it crashes frequently. It works (usually) on my wife’s iPhone, and (sometimes, crashing often) on my iPad, and (sometimes, crashing a lot) on my old iPhone; but not at all on my brand-new, fully-updated iPhone. Reboots, toggles, settings, reinstalls — nothing fixes it if it doesn’t work: Take it from a programmer that this app is just *buggy*. The sound issues are widely reported online and have been for *years*; I wouldn’t expect them to be fixed soon. If I could rate this app zero stars for all the screaming fits it’s produced in my household from preschoolers who don’t understand why their games won’t work, I absolutely would. Don’t install this; you’ll be glad you didn’t.

Getting better but still frustrating.. The last update seemed to have fixed the problem with the games deleting, but now the thumbnail picture for each game won’t show up unless we’re connected to WiFi. Which would be fine except for the fact that we don’t have WiFi in our home. Even if we did I wouldn’t hand my toddlers an iPad that was connected anyway. It makes them frustrated not to be able to see which games they want to choose. Usually after a minute or two they just close the app and play something else. Sad, this was their favorite app for so long.

PLEASE READ. Hi, I’m a kid and I am very weird. Anyway, everything about this app is good except for 2 things: When I downloaded this game it kicked me out and it took awhile to actually have it. The other flaw is there was a game on the app I wanted to play but IT WAS FREAKING LOADING AND I HAD TO WAIT TO PLAY IT FOR LIKE 10 MINUTES!!!!! So I guess it is a glitchy game and also if you don’t have this game here’s a cool thing about this game, this game is separated by types of channels on pbs kids and there are mini games inspired by the channel. Only kids app we trust. Our son has very limited screen time, so we want to make his time count —that’s why we keep coming back to PBS Kids. Most kids apps either have bad graphics (“They’re just kids! Why hire professional designers?!”), constant nagging prompts to buy other apps or upgrade, or they are just boring after the first 30 seconds and first $1.99. The PBS Kids app enables us to set parental controls and hand over the phone for 5 minutes while our kid gets safe, well-made fun with his favorite characters in games he has the skills to succeed at. I am continually impressed by the quality and quantity of games to pick from in this one app. Just set a reasonable download cache (I picked 1.3gb) and let him pick what looks interesting. The best part is we have no concerns about PBS stealing our personal data, eavesdropping, or otherwise abusing our trust.

Offline playability??. Whoever decided on the stream-First approach for the app update was extremely out of touch with your customer base, which is primarily low income families this update has rendered your app utterly useless to your primary customer base Removing the ability to download and play these games off-line was horrible. How do you explain to a four-year-old that they can no longer play their games because their tablet does not have a data plan? And the fact that the update was made automatic, so I couldn’t even opt out? The second his tablet did connect to Wi-Fi It just wiped all of his games. Please bring the ability to download for off-line play back.

Sister loves this and so do I❤️❤️. I downloaded this app and the PBS Kids video app for my sister. She is constantly amazed and delighted by the content these two apps offer. My sister is just a toddler, so she will be easily attracted to many things, but even I’M surprised by how much content the apps offer considering they’re both free. If you’re looking for a free, fun, and family-friendly game app with multiple games and/or free full episodes, definitely consider downloading both or any one of these apps :)

Great App but has it’s Glitches. This is my daughters favourite app - she lives that we can change up what games are on it and download different ones to make things new (I keep it at a 500GB limit or it doesn’t work properly). All was good until a couple months ago when the app stopped loading unless we are connected to WiFi (I have data turned off for this app). It had previously worked fine and we used it all the time in the car and on the bus. Please fix the issues with the app loading and also with the storage!

Great but needs age controls. I love that there’s no ads or links that frustrate my 3 year old. The app’s other strength is the wide variety of educational games that cater to many different ages. But this is also a flaw because there’s no way to restrict which games your child can play and which she can’t. My toddler gets frustrated when trying to play the games for age 5+ that she can’t understand. One improvement this app could use is the ability to restrict games based on age appropriateness.

Love this game but a few questions.. PBS kids is a fun and safe game for kids but I am over 4 like 9. It has no ads and fun and safe games for kids! But a few questions. Does it have noise like the kids cheering for seven seconds straight? Because that noise made me cry and the other one, in one of the pictures in App Store when I first clicked the app this year, it has the word kids in there the first picture in App Store. PBS kids is the 5 star most fun and the 1 star stupidest game for the children around the world!

Love the games, no more offline use :(. I LOVE having this app for my children, the games are great and I do not have to worry about what is/is not appropriate. However I am SO disappointed that after we updated to the latest version there are only 3 games to play for offline use. We regularly use the tablets in airplane mode and being able to use offline was one of the great perks of this app. I would be willing to pay to download for offline use and I hope that offline use will come back in some capacity besides the current 3 games offered.

Latest Update Lost Key Functionality. This app is great for some light hearted and educational games. One of the best features was the ability to download games so they could be played locally without cellular data or WiFi. Unfortunately this feature is missing in the latest update. Instead, when you don’t have cellular or WiFi only three games are available to play and you cannot change what these are. This app was great for travel, but not so much now. We hope this feature can be added back in a future update. Thanks!

Great games but... My 10 year old has played the scribbles and ink game “in and out” but theres something wrong. This version is not the same as the one on your website. The one i have has low quality audio and a really slow frame rate. But on your website it shows high quality audio, and 60 flaps. I don’t know if it is my phone, or the game! You have might of fixed this in the past but this happend to me since the update before the recent one. Please fix this! This is happening on my i pod touch 7th gen.

I'm 14 and love this app. I think it's strange why I love this app, but I also don't this app entertained me for so long it has multiple games that don't take too long to download in the game, you can watch TV on it, you can do anything to Daniel Tiger and wild crats everything, it's amazing to just sit down and watching some of those shows, or just maybe even play a game or 2. When you're bored, it keeps you interested for hours, and I totally recommend this.❤️😄😅

Stopped working. My kid loves the Wild Kratts show and the games in the PBS Kids Games app, but now they are no longer working. The arrows don’t come up on the screen to get the characters to move. And there is some reference to a keyboard...but we don’t have one connected. PLUS one of the games doesn’t Dow anything when you hit the Play button and one just goes to a blank screen. No clue why this is suddenly busted but my son is upset about it to no end. PLUS, I tried to submit something through the help but it’s just a lousy survey monkey - no where to enter you email so someone can help you. So hoping the developer notices this post and responds to the MULTIPLE bugs in this program.

Sound issues revisited. The pbs video app always works, but half the time the sound won’t come on for the game app. Really frustrating for the kiddo! EDIT to add my idea: the problem hasn’t been fixed yet but I added a star because the developers obviously care. I totally appreciate that. My idea is that this app opening needs to begin with the little PBS Kids jingle just like the video app, that way parents know IMMEDIATELY if there is a sound issue, or if it’s too loud, if it needs to be restarted, etc. Please add this feature it would be incredibly helpful with the sound issues.

Amazing! Totally Recommend!. Hello! I love this game, even if I am a bit old for it. I love all the fun, creative, artistic games you can play on this app. Only one thing… for younger kids, this app may be a bit of a struggle. Some of the games are a bit hard, even for a teen such as myself. There should be some more instructions for each game. Other than that, it is a great game for all ages. Sound issues. Let me start by saying my daughter loves this app we have it on both the iPad and phone. That said there is an issue with sound, more often than not the sound in the games will not work, while upon opening the app the sound works. I’ve tried multiple fixes such as restarting the iPad, adjusting setting without help. The problem occasionally fixes itself but it’s not consistent. Any help will be appreciated.

People kids go to school and they don’t have enough learning so so this helps your kids learn have education and it helps your game and I hope your kids have lots of fun and all types of games. They just have lots of lots of stuff with not really helping your kids stuff with your kids it’s kinda like lingo kids and 123 math and then all that stuff helps your kid but this is the only PBS Kids is the only thing that helps your kids learn and have fun

Really good. Just has one problem.. I’ve had this app since I was little and the only thing that I would say, is actually holding it back from a true potential. Is that after a while, the games on this app start glitching, and you can’t enter And it won’t let you have it download. It won’t download any of the games that you try and get on it, so I think it’s weird because I’ve been waiting forever to try one of the new wildcat games, and it won’t let me play it.

I love this app but. Your newest game for Arthur Cinderella I didn’t really like it all that much at first I liked being surprised at the choices but then it went to bad so I was thinking maybe add some more fairytales inside like Little red riding hood and the three little pigs and maybe you should add more characters from Arthur that would really make the actors easier so i’m just asking please add some stories to your brand new game it’s amazing but there aren’t enough stories in it so maybe just call it the fairytale Arthur game like once upon a restaurant and please add more stories that’s all I’m asking otherwise this app is fantastic

Okay but some problems. So, I had this game on my IPad but it never really worked so I got it on my IPhone. It was great at first but then it started freezing up as I was playing and the screen would turn from pink to white to black and then it would go back to the page where you click start after clicking on a game. This one game called Cooking School from Ready Jet Go! Is constantly freezing and it will only let me make the first thing! After I make it, it always says “Here is someone biiiig book of recipes. Let’s make this first!” But thing it tells me to make is the thing I just made!!!

Games keep FREEZING. Love this for my daughter BUT seems like as she gets into playing any of the games, like Daniel tiger or Sesame Street, the games just completely freeze. It prompts her to make an action but when she’s trying to, the objects won’t move. I try to do it myself and I also can’t get the objects to move. So then I have to completely close out the app and reopen for it to start working. It happens so often that she gets upset that it’s “NOT WORKING” and I divert her to a different app. I’ve tried closing all apps out, restarting my iPad, and making sure my iOS is updated but nothing has fixed it... BUMMED.

This is the best app ever!. It’s like so good because you can be creating a lot of stuff in the best part. I don’t even have to worry about being bored. AMAZING. This is so much fun I have been playing it since I was five and I'm 10 now it's so fun there's so much fun a entertaining games on there was an ad on PBS kids one day and I decided to download it it happens alot where I'll download it play all the games stop playing it delete it then after a while I'll download it again but if you are looking through the reviews to see if you or your child should download it. I definitely recommend this app for either you or your child.

Help. Our son loves the game but on our 2 iPad 7. The app is stuck at the first splash screen. It flashes white for a second and then goes to the splash screen with the loading icon spinning. This game is keeping our kid sane and us by association. Please help🤪now it’s only working on our phone so he keeps trying to steal my phones on me because it won’t load on either one of the iPads. I have to uninstall the app completely and reinstall it and then it only works for a couple days if I’m lucky please fix the bugs.

Kart Racer game is broken!. The new Kart Racer game is broken! Every single time I try to play Greens Hill, the guy Flash beats me and I get in second place. It happens EVERY SINGLE TIME, so I’m assuming it’s a bug. I’ve been stuck on Greens Hill for a long time, trying to get first place. That’s a bummer because you have to get first place on every race to get to the next level. Games that are a copy ever single time you play them are NO FUN, so please fix this. My 3.5 Year Old Son Loves It!. I was looking for games for my son to play on a long car ride. I didn’t want to subscribe to Apple Arcade, and so many games on the App Store seem like junk. I was about to give up when I read a recommendation for PBS Kids Games. My son and I love PBS Kids shows and sure enough he loves the games too. The games, just like the shows, are thoughtfully made so that they encourage creativity and teach kids that learning should be really fun!

Kinda boring getting oldish. So what I think is that you should add like an avatar that you use in the games. In the kart racing it would be most helpful. Also it’s kind glitchy. I love the game but it’s getting kinda old I think it should have more interactive learning games like learning how to interact online. What I’m trying to say is that it should have some sort of multiplayer games. To me it’s kinda corny. Actually a lot corny. But I think it needs multiplayer games and socializing games aswell it will help kids make online friends from yung ages and may keep them into older ages. Overall it’s getting old but I still like it 🫤🥔

Dozens of terrific apps in one. This is perhaps the single most valuable app to entertain your kids, and it is totally free with no ads! The developers really hit out of the park with a variety of entertaining games and creativity options that have kept my three and seven-year-olds benignly amused on plane rides, etc. The app is filled with a variety of interesting activities. That incorporate characters from the PBS shows, and can be counted on to only teach your kids good things. There is so much to do, and this is just phenomenal. A must have!

I love the high quality free apps! But the sound stops working quite a bit. My two year old loves this app. I love that the games are free and you can play the whole thing without having to buy more access. But the sound has always been buggy (if you switched to a different app and back you'd have to close all the way out of the app to get the sound back). But since a few days ago the sound is completely gone from all the games! I tried updating and then deleting and re-downloading. No luck. Help! We need to make tacos in the Cookie Monster Foodie Truck!

So glitchy and frustrating!!. This is my toddler’s absolute favorite game, so I do what I can to make her able to play...but this app hasn’t worked properly in months. I have to delete and reinstall it daily, otherwise it won’t do anything but load and reload the app’s home screen. Yesterday it started just crashing in the middle of playing, loading and reloading that image of the city on a pink background. It’s a wonderful game and one of the few that I’m happy to let her play for a long long stretch, but these glitches are incredibly frustrating for both my 3yo and myself. Please fix it. ❤️

I love PBS it’s perfect. One thing I do not love that it is very making me upset because one difficult issue is that I have to reload it and stuff it’s very tricky like a my daughter gets really mad she has a frustrating break down and I don’t not like that I lovePBSkids and she does too and sometimes we play games together and sometimes she’s happy and then we have to play different types of games but I never looked but I really love PBS Kids for her she also said she loves it just above watching cartoons🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🥰🥰🥰🥰😟😭😭😢🥺🥸

We love the is app but…... My toddler loves this app and so do I but in the last few days, ever since the Halloween stuff went down and the holiday stuff came up, we have had trouble with loading on the app. Either games won’t load, tho e side bar won’t load, and sometimes the app won’t get passed the loading screen. Would love if there could be a fix for this! Other then this recent problem the app has been amazing! Thanks!

Awesome but one flaw. I love this app so much there is lots of fun games but sometimes when I’m playing it starts only letting me press the “exit game” button so I have to redo the activity which is honestly quite annoying but all in all a great app highly recommend Also, my fav game is cyber fashion challenge and fuzzytown freestyle it’s great. Plus not only is it super fun but it teaches young kids things from strategy and math to different kinds of bathrooms. I will spend all day playing games on it. Super great app. Highly recommend it. And yes, I am a kid.

How much I love PBS Kids. I love PBS Kids because it helps me read the stories that I like reading and it’s just really good for me and I also love the games about it and that’s why I really love it. I love so much stuff like Pinkalicious that’s a really good one. I have another one. It’s called scribbles and cat. I think that’s called. Also, I like this one called Clifford and I just really like how it is so I think it’s really good and it helps kids the game and stuff. It just shows them how to do stuff and yeah, the end

Generally well done. Not sure when it happened, but now the levels in the rover builder game don’t unlock after completing. My child has a fit when he has to restart each time. There are a few games that freeze and annoy my child and daddy has to fix it, but on the whole very appropriate and engaging activities for my youngest child. I wish the grown up settings were lockable or a separate app. That one child keeps clearing or reducing the space and wiping the downloaded games; then has a fit they are all gone. Which takes me about a half hour to redownload.

About how good pbs kids is. So far with pbs I’ve had so much fun with all the games on there .there’s Rosie’s rules wild Krats all the games are so fun I might keep this still when I’m a grown up whoever made this games is good at making games I mean I’m may be only 7 years old keep up the good work peploe I love playing on it it’s the best game and I also have pbs kids videos I know I know it’s a lot but I’m being serious if anything in the whole world would be playing pbs kids with the rock Spaud girls and their names are Gia Faye pega anis Nayeli jazzi

Monkey Mayhem. So my kid loves PBS everything. Especially this app so he can play along to all of his favorite cartoons. His favorite game ever is Wild Kratts Monkey Mayhem and for good reason.. it’s fun! A few weeks ago all the control buttons disappeared off of the Monkey Mayhem game on our iPad and we haven’t seen them since. If I open the app on my phone they game works but for some reason it won’t work on the iPad. My son checks every time he opens the app. I waited for the new update and still nothing. While we love the other games, we miss monkey mayhem. Please help.
