Great Vocabulary game!. My grandson is 5 and we play against each other! It’s so much fun and he’s growing his vocabulary too! We talk about words he wasn’t sure of and that leads to more learning!

Cute. The kids love the 2 player choice. I love the fact that there can be different pictures for the same item during the match. Volume fades in and out during activity. Overall, fun to use.

Great app. The pictures are great; I especially like the different pictures for the same word in the 2 player mode. The students will enjoy playing the game while increasing their vocabulary skills.

Excellent App!. Just what elementary and secondary students need for spelling and vocabulary words! Use of student's or parent's voice recording fills need for auditory, visual and tactile input so necessary for memory!

Love this app!. This app is great! Love the customizable way to enter words! Just wondering about two possible options - lowercase availability in the unscramble part and for nouns if there could be a a option to enter pictures for support. But I think this is great!

Great study tool!. I like that you can have multiple lists and that there are various ways to practice. The recording feature is great too. I would love to be able to e-mail a list to a student or parent. Can that be added? Either way I will certainly recommend it to my students. Thanks!

Great visual training. Great training tool for visual perceptual training! Would love to be able to use your own picture and build own vocab!

I can't put this one down!. A great challenge for all ages! There are several features that can be turned on or off to customize your challenge! I love it!

Receptive identification on nouns. This is a great app for my students. This app works on receptively identifying nouns and has the added bonus of allowing the session to be timed or untimed. There is also an option to allow the pictures to stay facing right side up or to be tipped sideways (in a messier array) creating a greater challenge as well as better generalization. There are three categories of items, food, animals, and items from around the house. The categories can be assigned to all show up at once or one category at a time. Further, the app starts with just a few pictures, and gradually increases to a larger field. I have found this app to be exciting and entertaining for my students while providing a valuable language lesson.

Still needs a little polish. This company has an impeccable line of apps to stand behind. This one's not quite how the description states it, but it's still good. Not really a "hidden object" game since the cards aren't hidden but merely the narrator says the word and the child picks it out. The word at the bottom that correlates to the picture could be bigger making it easier for little fingers to find to have the narrator repeat the word. Right now the word is said once and my 2 year old just kind of taps all the cards like she didn't quite catch the pronunciation. I know this one says it quickly so it can be a racing scenario, but I'm more interested in my child learning than racing at this point. Maybe they could incorporate sayings from their other apps like, "find the .....", or "where is the ...". That would be 5 stars down the road. Thanks for all the great work in any event!!

Awesome!. I love this app! It is very helpful to be able to change the field, the two row option is perfect for my little one right now and the game can grow with her. She loves to look at all the pics, chooses very carefully. I turned the sound off so she doesn't even know she is running out of time. It's nice to have the word written at the bottom of the screen as well.

One of our favorites!. This is such a neat little app. Just as fun for the adults (the 2 player version is a blast!) as it is for kids. I would like to see it more customizable and maybe add letter recognition, as other reviewers have suggested. For our family, it works better to turn the sound "off" so that I can read out the words to my 3 year old. The automatic "spawning" of cards does get confusing for my little one so hoping the update will take care of that!

Excellent. Easy to set up tests and I love the option to practice, test, retake missed words etc. I will definitely use this with my special education students.

Perfect mental workout. I discovered this is one of the few ways to run my son's batteries down that last bit before his nap. My 3 year old is always on the go but he sits down to play this game and goes and goes and goes (usually 15 minutes) until he is agreeable for a little "resting of his eyes"! Thanks!

Great developer response. Made a suggestion about the audio, heard back within hours, and the update fixed it! great!!!

Great app. Lots of possibilities with this app. I am a Deaf and Hard of Hearing Teacher. I use this app for listening, following directions and voc development. I hope future updates will include the ability to turn off sound. I love the fact that alligator apps follow the same format with the ability to customize. This helps MY learning curve for new apps.

Neat Game!. This is a fun simple kid-friendly game. Watch out though; it's addictive for adults also :). It uses beautiful, bright, crisp pictures and is an excellent vocabulary expander for the younger kids.

Fun app. This is a great app to use for vocabulary improvement in young children,. I love the way you can customize the number of pictures in the field. It's also a great game to play when the student(s) are finished working..as a reinforcement.

Another winner.... Fun app that is easily customizable. I work with moderately to severely involved students and really like how I can change the number of visually available items. Really forces the children to look and to make accurate choices.

Good game. After customizing and turning off the spawn, this app was wonderful. I was able to decrease the field to make it fun and not too challenging for my student.

Great for all ages. My ELL kids love it, so do my special ed kids, so do our regular education students. Good for vocab, listening, motor skills, or just plain challenging yourself.

Fun game. Fun game to play, introduces new vocabulary, along with being able to change settings to make the game more difficult by changing the number of pictures. This game would even be better if you had a setting to change it from pictures, to sight words, numbers and letters (upper, lower and mixed). That would make it a 5 star app!

Great except for 5 second response time. Great app! Love the pictures & customizations. One suggestion to broaden the game's appeal: For any child or kid who cannot respond in about five seconds, this app would be very frustrating. I am thinking of a young child or a special needs child/kid who simply needs more processing time and cannot respond within the five seconds. Please consider adding an option to make the selection time longer, perhaps picking up to 10 seconds (5 default, change to 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 seconds.) A lot of games in the App Store would be much better for special needs kids if they were slower and did not expect a quick response.

Nice App. I like that you can customize the number of pictures displayed. Nice, clear pictures too. This is a nice addition to other vocabulary apps I have.

Love it. Good for the higher & lower functioning on my caseload. Glad that I can customize the length of time and size, and turn on/ off vocab. I love all alligator apps for this!!

Great. Love this app fun to play with the kids or others always a rush. Only change I would make is that you can't win by just random picture touching quickly.

Love the concept, but keeps crashing!. I have played three times and each time the app has crashed. I love Alligator Apps and I think my kids are going to love this game - please, please fix the crash! UPDATE: Crash problem continues. Also, when playing in two player mode, twice the "target" tile appeared on one player's side of the board, but not on the other player's side. Please fix - my daughter and I really like the game.

Excellent app!. Such a wonderful app! I love how it can be used with a variety of students, areas of need, and ability levels. My only suggestions would be that the field of objects not increase as time goes on (or make this an option that can be turned on or off). Some of the pictures/objects are somewhat obscure. Little finder. A terrific game to see if child can ID pictures and you to assess his/her receptive vocabulary. It is also able to be challenging to adults. Fun game.

Fun to play. Great exercise for the eyes and brain as you quickly search for the named objects. Helps with focus and attention to details.

Addictive app. I really enjoyed using this app. My son has autism and this will be a great way for him to identify object/animal/food. I love that I can customize the app to fit my needs, the options are great. The fast music does make me a little nervous when trying to "beat the clock" so I have to use the Zen option!

Sound bug. Even though we like the idea of the game, the sound is not working properly. Can’t get the sound going!

Good app. As a teacher, I will give this 5 stars if the visual hint could be turned off and if there was a record keeping/email option for the app. It gives the kids a score, but there isn't any value to it for an educator. I can see it being a fantastic app for auditory processing. Thank you!

Best alligator app!. We have a number of alligator apps for my kids.... This is by far my favorite! Super easy to set up and easy for my five year old to navigate all on his own.

Little finder. Great game for youngsters to identify their surroundings. However, perhaps you could add an element that permits slowing down the game. It goes so quickly there is barely enough time to identify the items named. Yolanda

Nice app. This app allows the child to play in a mode for identification of objects (vocabulary building for little ones) and then the settings can be changed so it becomes a reading app. For when the child is older. Fun!

Little Finder. A fun app that helps with language connections for preschoolers as well as English language learners. Being able to start with one category and 4 pictures and increasing difficulty as ability increases is terrific.

Great app for all ages. I have an 8 yr old sp needs son and a 2 yr old. Both love this game. They play as single players, challenging when more pictures come in... But still fun!!

Little finders. Our two year old adopted granddaughter only speaks Spanish. With this game she is learning English and having a fun time.

Mom. Good app to study spelling. My first grader really likes it because of the voice and being able to study by himself and on an app. It works for my fifth grader as well.

Audio feature doesn't seem to work. I can't get the audio to read the name of the object.

Fast paced and fun!. This is a helpful app to increase young learner's vocabulary. Would like to see more basic words though and get rid of words like "macaw", "asparagus", "papaya", and "walnut" which aren't exactly kid friendly.

I love this app. I love this app (so far) and so do the children I work with. The sound is dynamic and catches the attention of even the most in attentive child. I am an SLP and it works great for me.
