Cool.. This is a great app. The possibilities are endless. Even though I may not be able to play the videos of there is no wifi available when I take my kids to the zoo. I like the search capability to it. My five year old loves learning about animals.

Wonderful. Alligator apps are on to something. This app and the similar music adventure app are just fabulous. The ability to customize these apps is the best. I'm a huge fan and recommend these apps highly. I was a Montessori preschool teacher for 12 years pre-internet; and I only wish we had resources like this available. Get this app.

Great App. Our 2 year old absolutely loves this app. Asks to see the videos all the time. He's learned them all by name.

Nice job. Videos are great. More geared toward the 5 and up crowd but the four yr old likes it to. The six yr old grasps the material better. The four yr old likes it for the beautiful photos and videos.

Mini adventure. Beautiful pictures, very engaging, my 7year old said she just wished every animal gave some information, some just have video of the animal moving around. Overall, GREAT JOB!!!!

Yep, good stuff. I'm using this app for my k-1 students for handwriting practice. When they spell the animal forming the letters correctly we watch the video as a reward. This is customizable which is amazing. Good job on this one!!

Specialneedsteacher. Absolutely wonderful. My granddaughter and I watched the videos on the different animals for almost 1 hour. I can't wait to share this app with the students I work with. Thank you for this 5 star app.

Mini animals. The best part of this app was the video. It gave information that the students were interested in listening to. Now without the videos it's just pictures of animals with the name of the animal written on it. No point to the app anymore. With video it's a 4 star app.

My son lives this. Lots of great pics. Some videos aren't great, but that does take too much away from them app.

Just what I've been looking for. As a teacher I've been searching for apps that would make the most sense for my students to enrich their learning. This one allows for so many uses in science, language arts, and even math! What a wonderful place to see such a wide variety of animals and the added videos are such a bonus!

Autistic son loves this. My "non verbal" autistic son absolutely adores this ap. He is 3,almost 4. He has started to say the words for his favorite videos on here...frog, octopus, bear.....This is so incredible!!!!! My 5 year old daughter also loves this. This ap gets used every single day at our house. I very much enjoy the videos with them and I also find myself learning. Excellent choice of videos!! I could NEVER get my son to look at animal books or learn his animals. For some reason this mode of learning really clicks with him. Thank you so much! We do wish the videos loaded better/ faster....100% recommend!!!

Fabulously engaging!. I love this app! The pictures are beautiful and I love that they change each time you touch the picture and repeat the name. The videos make the activity fun and I love that the index is kid friendly and in alphabetical order! My son loves animals and is gonna love this app. The only way it could get better was if the name was spelled back when you touch it.

Mini adventure animals. Very good picture quality in photos. Videos also seem like nice quality, with tasteful humor thrown in. Would like to be able to create a list of desired animals...maybe to match a book that the children are reading. Perhaps you can do this...I will have to investigate more. Worth keeping for the high quality photography.

Fabulous App. I am a teacher. This app is a great resource for students learning about animals. I like the ability to search for a particular animal by clicking the upper right hand corner of the screen. It shows the animals in alphabetical order by a picture and the name. When you choose an animal the name is spelled out on letter cards and is spoken for the students to easily copy. Every animal has a video. Some have more facts than others. Some animals have web sites listed for moe information. I would like to have seen more facts for school use, but it is a fabulous app.

App upgrade gone wrong. This app was recently updated and instead of making it better the app got worse. The videos are gone so the educational value is now minimal and you can no longer tap a letter of the animal being viewed to automatically scroll to a new animal. Until these changes are added back we won't be using this app.

Awesome pics. The pictures are awesome... This app is really nice as it shows different types of animals and links it to you tube so you can see the animals in action. One problem is that they could offer different views of the animals and also a map showing where they can be found.

I was happily surprised. Wow, I was hoping for a good quality app to work with a variety of age groups. This was incredible. I love the way it blends words, pictures and videos so simply. My favorite part is that when you click on the picture you get a variety of that animal. Super app thanks so much!

Mini adventures-Animals. Love this. The graphics are awesome and the mini movies are so informative. Very helpful in explaining habit and habitats of animals that most chidren never see, but read about.

Superb app. Gorgeous pictures, and short entertaining videos - I think I will be able to adapt this to a wide range of ages in speech therapy for animal vocabulary and listening comprehension, while easily keeping the student's interest. Beautiful app.

Another great success!. The company delivers a perfect strike on everything they make. My daughter isn't even two yet, but already counts to 20, figures out logic puzzles, and says over two hundred words with amazing clarity and points out things she knows everywhere we go. We've made dozens of our own flash cards for some of the other apps this company makes and she knows how to say nearly everything we've been able to take a picture of. These people have fantastic apps and best of all they're either free or $.99...we have no complaints and show them off to everyone one we know. Awesome. My son who is autistic loves animals and watching what they do. I downloaded this hoping it will help him to stop bugging me about going to the zoo (hour and a half away) every day. He hasn't seen it yet but I know he will love the videos. What a great idea and awesome way for him to learn uncommon animal names and how they act. So excited to show him!

Engaging and Educational. This app is great for children of all ages. Animal photos are beautiful and detailed, each containing a video of that animal in action up close. There are many exotic animals and I love the fact that the app pronounces the animal name as well as has it spelled out. A fantastic app full of many animals from all over, covering every letter of the alphabet many times over.

Great for early childhood!!. This is a perfect app for children, especially when they don't get the opportunities to see many of these animals! Perfect for a teaching too!

This is just like a field trip!. This app is easy to use, and my students really enjoy seeing such a wide variety of animals. i like how in the settings you have choices for different photos and videoes of the animals. it is such a great product!

Excellent!. Love this app! This is educational for multi-age group. I have 4 kids ages 13 - 3, one with special needs. Beautiful pictures and videos. I like that it pronounces the animal name and shows the spelling. Large variety of animals, some well known and some unusual.

Great app. Excellent!

Odd You Tube Videos. On the positive note, the quality and quantity of animal photos is amazing. Beautiful colour and many unique animals and insects. However.... - A Crane photo accompanying You Tube video actually was about crabs - A picture of a rather exotic looking bird was identified as a sparrow. The accompanying You Tube video was about house sparrows and bore no resemblance to the picture. (I'm not a naturalist, so who knows... maybe the pic is of an exotic species of sparrow?) - A photo of a cicada was accompanied by a three minute You Tube video recording of the noise of the cicada and a voice over stating that the sound was "boring through your head" - An otter video showed an otter in a living room as a household pet The videos are not of consistent quality and information, as you would expect with You Tube.

mini adventures. Photos are spectacular - Haven't made it thru the entire collection but have noticed poor You tube presentation on these that we have viewed : Piglet - many pauses and missing audio, Locust and Wolf also have been frustrating to view. SLOTH card is missing initial audio.

Excellent. From the very first use my twins loved this one. I couldn't keep them away from it. Excellent videos, so easy to use, a masterpiece as far as apps go.

Videos not working. Since the latest update the videos don't load for any of the animals. Kids are very disappointed, waiting for an update to fix the problem.

SWEARING!. There are videos within this app that contain swear words!!! ABSOLUTELY UNACCEPTABLE for an app created for young children! My daughter picked up the "s" word from watching a video of a kudo bull. Seriously...at least screen your videos first!!!!! I am embarrassed for this company.

Mini Adventures Animals. I would not have ordered this app. if I had known there would be a YouTube ad in the upper left hand side that sometimes blocks part of the animal. I did not pay for a YouTube ad.

Customization Not Working. I bought this app because Mini Adventures - Let's Go has not been updated to support iOS7. The app has a feature that allows you to customize (add/delete/edit) your own catergories and videos, which was the MAIN reason I purchases the app. However whenever I want to customize (add) anything the app completely locks up and is not responsive. Unless this is fixes I basically threw my money away. Would be 5 stars if this worked.
