Educational but. It’s great for kids. I wish I could figure out how to make a purchase to get rid of the ads. Have to delete and really didn’t want to.

Helps alot. This app helps a lot it teaches my child very well while letting her have fun and play games . If u would like to learn or help some one else learn French then I would recommend this app

Entertaining. I like this a lot to help me casually grow familiarly with some vocabulary. It's a lot more fun than apps that are heavily grammar focused (though there's a place and time for that) I'm just trying to get familiar with the basics before I begin my French college course. Will definitely pay for the full version!

Fun. There's always more to learn in regards to grammar and vocabulary and everything else, but this was fun to just click pictures to help associate images with words.

Variety & Repetition. The first level is vocabulary only. The exercises start simple and the pictures are engaging. There are four different drills that repeat the vocabulary enough to drill the words without getting boring. The timed element is a good touch.

Interesting and fun. I've been learning French for about 3 years now, and this game by far is the most entertaining. It reminds me of the simple words and phrases that correlate with pictures. The arcade style of it in the beginning is very catchy and fun. If you are reading this to see if you will get.....GET IT

Okay. It's not ideal for someone experienced in French but I can imagine it being fun for beginners

Very good. Nice way to learn . However , when reached to level two I got an offer to unlock 150 levels for .99 $ . The issue that when I proceeded to to pay , the value or the price changed to 4.99 $ !!!

Simple. First level was fun, unfortunately that's the only unlocked level so I really can't say how good a app it is based on that. Still, the games are short enough that you can do one in those moments where you need something to pass a minute or two and you want to review your French.

Ok so far. I like the gaming aspect. I've only done the free version so a very limited number of words to learn and master. The app is a bit unstable as it boots you out of the game before you can finish a round. But so serious impact; maybe it affects your score but you are still learning vocabulary. For .99 I'll probably take a chance on the upgrade.

Great App where is the sound?. To me it’s me missing audio pronunciation of the foreign word. iOS 13 last update 😠

Awesome!. This is by far one of the most fun apps I have used. I don't feel realize how much time I spend playing this app and before I know it I put in some really good time into learning a different language!

Great. This app really helps

Recommended, but could use some work. This is a great little program in concept, and I'm glad I purchased the full version. That said, a few of the descriptions/photos are poorly matched. For example, it is common for there to be children and babies, and sometimes it is unclear what is intended to be a baby vs. a child. Similarly, there are some questions where they say something like "The baby's not crawling." Then there's a picture of a baby smiling and sitting, and another of a young child/toddler lying down. You have to guess at which one is older to figure out which one is not doing something (since neither are crawling). So, overall, it's useful, but frustrating at times as I'm figuring out more what the developer intends rather than the language itself.

Great for beginner. I am learning French for the first time and this program has been super helpful. I like first that the pronunciations are a real recorded voice, and not robotic. I love the many games you can play with vocabulary. Even though the timer makes me nervous, it does force me to think faster. I didn't give it 5 starts because I would love for it to record my pronunciation and correct it if needed. Overall, very good

Pretty good supplement. I use this app in conjunction with Duolingo, Brainscape French Vocab, and Mind Snacks French. This app reminds me of Rosetta Stone's approach, only with the word showing. I wouldn't recommend it as a solo learning tool, but it is a fast and easy way to keep your learning experience fresh. To be honest it is great for learning nouns, as the the pictures really help me learn them quickly.

Good app for my 11years old. The questions are very repetitive, so it should help my son to master the words. There are reading, listening, unscrambling components. I just tried first level, and it's very simple. But based on the pictures it should get more complex. One can get 5 levels for free before committing to buy it. For this price I most probably will buy it, but wanted to check out the 5 levels first.

Nice French APPetizer. There are only several words you will learn here; singular and plural form: baby, girl, boy, man, woman, cat, dog, horse in a game style challenge. The repetition and pronunciation helps the words stick in your memory folder and gets you interested in learning more. This is better than learning about the hotel ,airport, and taxi..

Repetition great for beginners. I find this entertaining and great for repetition exercises. Learning a new language can be a challenge and this home tool is helping me get ready for a live class. I've shied away from French because the written word is so different from the sounds. This helps with the reinforcement of both written and sounds. I speak German and Spanish. I look forward to learning French with this as my starting point.

Fun Visual Learning. Have only tried the free version, but this visual learning gameplay may convince me to buy the full version. Addictive & fun.

A good vocabulary supplement. After using this program for a couple of days, I decided to upgrade to the full version. This is exactly what I've been looking for! Something that can be used quickly, gives native pronunciation, and will drill me on vocabulary. Would I use this alone to learn a language? No. But as a supplement, I am very pleased!

Love it. I am fluent in French and my boyfriends family is also. This app will help him remember what he already knows. Hopefully more verbs coming because that is a challenge in French. Keep it up!

Awesome!. I am 46 and my daughter is six, we love these apps. We also play the Spanish one...it's as wonderful. Within minutes you can have several words learned by hearing beautiful pronunciation and seeing great photos. The multiple choice learning method is great. Enjoy!

Arcade sound irritating. Love the app! Would have given it 5 stars- just don’t like that I don’t have the option to silence the noise after I answer a question. It’s ok at first, but it becomes very irritating quickly

Good. Good app. Just wish it was free or had at least 10 free levels

No microphone needed. It helps to hear native speakers as you are learning the vocabulary. Like that I can do as much or as little as I want and that it is so easy to review past lessons. It does not require you to speak into a mic to pass the lesson, which was nice since I have never had success matching my pronunciation to whatever the program wants to hear.

Extremely unstable. Unhelpful support staff.. I reached level 11 and then the app crashed. Afterwards, it crashed on opening within seconds every time. I contacted support, and the rather snotty staff member told me to delete it and reinstall it. They claimed my progress would be retained so long as I had logged in as I had done. (It only has Facebook login, by the way.) This was not the case. I logged back in, but the levels I had completed were still marked as new and uncompleted. I was only able to resume where I had left off because I remembered where I had left off and after I performed the "restore purchases" function in the settings, it allowed me to open any lesson I pleased. It still crashes after roughly half the exercises I complete now, and does not retain the progress from any exercise it crashes after. Extremely dissatisfied. Aside from the support staff and the instability, the app is a good app. The accent is good, the audio is very clear and enunciated, and the photos are appropriate. The problems are of such severity that I cannot give it more than one star.

Studying for work. Fun way of studying my vocabulary...I work in Africa and having French is very helpful for my job, but not everyone speaks it with me often. This app makes studying my words fun. The speed games are great. Look forward to more.

Different - which is good!!!!. I'm an Australian learning French and after using several language apps that all have different strengths & weaknesses I have found Lingo Arcade to be lots of fun and a touch addictive. They do things slightly different which makes it worth using and going back to. You honestly will start learning the language and best of all - it sticks! Simple & effective pretty much sums it up - the upgrade is well worth it.

Lingo Arcade Reveiw. This app is realy good for begginers learning french. I love the repetition. Maybe there should be more time when you play the games. Nifty. I've never been good at new languages but this app is really good at getting some basic ideas across.

Very basic with lots of ads. I only downloaded the free version, French level is very basic and you can’t change without purchasing an upgrade. Ads pop up during game play and afterwards - very annoying. There is no way to determine if the app is worth buying because you can’t change the level of French that suits your vocabulary:(

Too many ads. I like it but so many ads to even test it out. Do ads go away if I purchased all the levels? I also cannot get a good sense if ok for intermediate learners since level 1 is so basic. So not sure I want to buy without knowing what type of more advanced content it has.

Very good so far. This app is great so far for learning French, new words are gradually incorporated. My 6 years old son also enjoys playing it. The one thing I didn't like was that it offered 0.99cents to unlock but was charged 6.99$ on the purchase screen. I purchased anyways hoping it's a great investment into learning.

So Far, So Good!. I’m enjoying Level One of this app so far. I especially like the drill exercise, where the player has to choose from the correct singular or plural noun, and match it with the photo. Can’t wait to give Level Two a try!

Frenchyfied. Like it so far, have been speaking french for a while and still enjoy playing little language games such as this one.

Very basic. I find the choice of words a little odd. My daily language does not include horses (or babies at the moment). I have only completed one level so I don't know what is to come. The repetition is good. It's a good addition to have variety in your lessons.

I like the voice over.. I like that it reads each word out loud. It is helpful because you start to hear the differences in pronunciation. Specially for words that sound almost the same like 'le' and 'les'.

Photo matching is great. I like that they teach you the articles along with the words. Most of the games are too similar or too easy. Also you only get one free level.

Great Refresher App. As I'am being tutored by a native Parisian and practicing via Rosetta Stone, this app helps with the lack of practical usage. This app sharpens what is there and is great for your day to day commute wherever you are.

French. This is a good program because you learn the basics of the language you are trying to learn.

Simple but helpful. The games are your standard timed flash card exercises, but it does feel like they help improve your vocabulary. The app sometimes crashes at the end of an exercise.

I love this app. It is absolutely awesome and very easy to learn french and has a great audio it's very easy to process and under stand! Love it!

Decent. I don't like how you have to pay for extra levels.. If you really want to learn french, download duolingo.. You have multiple languages to switch from and you don't pay a penny for anything!

Ok app so far but.... The music is annoying and the time runs out much too quickly. Also, you only get through one game with about 12 words before you have to purchase the full version.

Level One. It's hard to evaluate the app based on one level. From what I've seen, it works fine. The vocabulary is very limited, less than 20 words. If I write this review I get 5 levels free. We'll see after that. I'll write another review.

Seems a bit weak. It's hard to tell with just the first lesson, but the games don't seem nearly as sophisticated as with some other French apps that I've tried.

Ouais! Un jeu français!. Im still pretty new at this game, but so far I like it! And I'm hoping this will help keep me inspired to keep up with learning French! (Well, I guess I don't need to study any more, but for me, it's fun!)
