App crashes a lot. If something could please be done about all the crashing, am trying to read articles but just when I start to it crashes if something could please be done to fix it

Used to work, now it doesn't.. I guess there was an update and all I can see now is the daily devotional. Please fix! I love the articles!!

Great. BUT. Can you please enhance the font size in articles for persons of low vision?

Doesn’t work. This app needs work! I enjoy looking at what I think I may get to read lol but it throws you out when you select something, sometimes it doesn’t even load the content. I know the problem isn’t my phone since I open other things just to be sure with no problems.

Crashes. After installation, the app loads and home page loads but no matter which article I click to read the app crashes. I guess I’ll go back to just using the web site.

Love the layout, hate the ads!. I would be willing to pay for an ad free experience. Keep working on it. We’ll see about later possibilities.

Great potential. I downloaded this app because I love the website. It was great for about a week, but it stopped updating and the articles all went blank. I deleted the app and re-downloaded it a week later. It was fine for about another week, but another week in there are no new arrivals showing when I know they've added more on the website. I'm done with it. Just going to access the website from now on.

Good content but constantly crashes. Good articles but difficult to read because app always crashes when trying to open links. Ads will pop up but app closes tried restarting phone and deleting and reinstalling app.

WOW. I downloaded this app to check my daily devotional but decided to check the headlines first. Once I read the "Violence in Ferguson" piece, I knew that crosswalk was not the right organization to support for me. When your coverage is CLEARLY coming from the vantage point of "this poor officer is 'under attack,'" as opposed to the pattern of mistreatment of African-Americans, you look like more of a tool of a conservative agenda then that of our Lord. App deleted.

ads are killing my experience. I hate the pop up ads and i paid for the subscription

First Time User. Today I downloaded the Crosswalk App. I found the material both Biblical and uplifting. Unfortunately, many of the links appear broken. I clicked on an article and it took me to the home screen on my phone.

Bible?. I'm just disappointed because on the website I can access the Bible....but the app doesn't even have access to it? I don't understand how there can be devotionals and everything else here .... But not the actual Bible!

Easier to view on the browser. I just loaded the app on my iPad. It appears easy to use and search and I’ve created an account. But then the articles I wanted to read - 2 of the Editor’s favs - I only get the photo, first paragraph and a random ad. I thought maybe it was a paid subscription thing, but isn’t. I refreshed a couple times, I’ve closed, reopened the app a few times but same thing. This occurs with other articles too, not all , but many. So I’m done wasting time fussing and am unloading the app, I can read the entire article on the browser. Too bad too.

Limited Functionality. It’s strange that you can’t search for anything. You’re subjected to topics or “favorites” they pick for you. They have links to related topics within and at the end of articles, but none work. I have refreshed, reinstalled, troubleshooted myself… nope! Needs some work.

Stopped updating. This used to be a great app. About a month ago it stopped updating any of the articles. Very disappointed. I deleted it and re-download it to no avail. Too bad. Hopefully they fix this soon.

Better than most, actually.. this crosswalk app is easy, friendly to the eyes, and free of needless ads. I give it a 4 out of 5... Bc I am new.

No search option. I downloaded this app to search for a link to an article that I saw on a Facebook reel, and there is no option to search for that article. I was unable to copy the link on the reel or click on it to get there. I’m sure the app has some good features but I haven’t found them yet since I was unable to use it for the reason I downloaded it.

God influenced. Just a wonderfully detailed app that is very easy to use and navigate. A one stop shop sort of faithful tool for today’s world.

App doesn’t work. I have a iPhone 11 when I opened the app a advertisement shows up and the app doesn’t seem to load up. I guess it only works for iPhone 13 or 14 To bad I always enjoyed this app

Puzzled. Used to access and read articles frequently, but there's a big problem now....topic headings are the only thing showing up. No articles and nothing but blank pages when I click categories buttons. I even deleted the app and reinstalled it - made no difference. Too bad it's not functional.

Content is awesome BUT.... Can’t open music videos! And although given the opportunity to forward content it is unreadable for the intended recipient. Please resolve issues so I can recommend this site which has such great potential.

Doesn’t Work Well. I have to keep deleting the app and then download it again. Also, the articles & prayers sent to my inbox are incomplete, then you have to click on the “Continue Reading” link, but it does not link to the app and open it up.

Poor website. No way to search

Content Good / Ads Useless & Annoying. The content is good. However have to scroll past ads. One devotional had the same ad 4-5x before I stopped scrolling. Remove the ads

Easy To Use. When you download this app, you will find that after you create an account, you will be able to pick your favorite topics such as Single Moms, Parenting, Teens, Seniors, and much more. You will see that these topics’ articles are easy to find and share. Also, on one part of their app, you will be able to download all the apps that are from Salem, who is the developer of this app. God bless!

Never Updates. I've had this app for several weeks, and the articles haven't changed. Either you should maintain an app or let it go. It's useless the way it is, so I'm deleting... very disappointing.

Update for iOS 11 Needed. It would REALLY be nice to have this app working again. There had been a warning prior to the update to iOS 11 to contact the developer to get a new version (which I tried to do but did not get a reply.)

This app is an ad machine. The last four times i opened this app I got ads. And they wouldn’t go away. And every time i go to the app it says “loading”... ads I guess. The app has no real guidance. It opens to a daily Bible verse. If you won’t let me shut that off why not just show the verse? The topics are overwhelming... how about a front page with top articles... like the website? Then let me browse? It’s missing swipe support. Five months on: it's still an ad generator. it needs a search bar. Also, how about a conflict resolution topic under Church? Seven more months on, after developer response says they are working on an update and no changes. I go to this app, as i do the website, looking for guidance, relevant materials, and I close it in frustration.

Technology is lacking. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled the app twice and it still doesn’t fix the functionality. The articles repeat the verbiage of the paragraphs multiple times and it won’t allow you to continue reading. There is no search function in the app. So disappointed and it was a waste of money.

Crashes and ads. I downloaded the app, ads immediately. Then I found an article I wanted to read and it kept crashing and closing so I uninstalled. Too bad.

Very Unfortunate.... For many years I have loved Crosswalk, even BEFORE the app so that should tell you something. In the past my prayer group and I have shared many devotionals and articles from the site. However, this site/app is no longer appealing to my spiritual life at all. I do not want constant political bashing, right wing rhetoric and anti minority agendas. When accessing a “Christian” based site/app, I am looking for my spiritual appetite to be fed, I would rather not have negativity in my daily reading. This site has become very disrespectful toward Christians that happen to be a minority and those that stand with us. If you want to really appeal to others, try reaching out in love, instead of shameful infuriating ads. I have deleted this app.

Needs update bug fix. In reading articles it cuts off very often after page 1 and I cannot see the rest of the article. Please issue update to fix this bug.

Almost Perfect. I love this app and all it has to offer. My one complaint is there appears to be no search function. For example there is a very interesting article on Emnity in the web site but no apparent way to search for it in the app. Hopefully this will be addressed in a future update.

Crosswalk Devotionals. Devotionals are often difficult to open. They keep going blank. They also have too many advertisements and blank areas. I miss the previous versions of Crosswalk which offered 2 Devotionals everyday.

Doesn’t really work. I’m not sure what’s going on but this app has too many non-responsive links and empty pages. It’s disappointing

Text will not load. I have always enjoyed the devotionals. When I clicked on All Devotionals. And then tried selected which ones I wanted to view, i.e. devotions by your favorite pastors, no text will show on the page.

Functional app with errors. Font size buttons multiply text. Needs a way to save subscribed devotionals for easy resumption everyday upon login. App seems to do this as long as you stay logged-in (not clearing from memory/cache).

Search bar. I would definitely give this app a solid 5 if I could access a search bar to locate specific subject matter.

Enlarging text size, duplicates article 😏. Just downloaded this app and when enlarging the font, sections of the articles are duplicated multiple times. Great resource but software issues send you back to a browser. Hope it can be fixed so it has a greater impact. Blessings!

Great content, BUT.... Love your content & I understand the need for occasional ads to fund your important ministry, but, you have too many ads, which is distracting, annoying and ultimately detrimental to both your ‘mission’ & to the advertiser.

UNINSTALLED. Pop up ads? Masquerading as a faith tool but in reality a sales tool. Typical.

App crashes. I cannot open my app anymore, it just crash. I open the app from the App Store but it still crashes. I have so many saved articles that I do not want to lose.

Please fix. There are serious bugs that need to be fixed on this app....the app continually freezes and occasionally crashes on a constant and daily basis. The actual information found on this app is invaluable and easily deserves five stars...

No search bar. There’s literally no way to search for specific subjects

The app will not allow you to delete it!. This is crazy. First, the app wouldn’t load on my home screen so I decided to delete it. IT NEVER LOADED AND NOW I CANNOT DELETE IT. EVERYDAY I HAVE TO GO INTO MY SETTINGS AND TRY TO DELETE IT, BUT IT WILL NOT LOAD OR DELETE! Please fix your app. This is crazy! Update, (10/9/2021, I tried again to download the app. This time the app downloaded. I was able to delete it once it finally downloaded. Let’s hope it doesn’t show up again on my home screen.

Really great articles. Crosswalk has the best Christian articles covering a range of topics that I've seen so far in an app. And I like that I can save the articles I like. However, I wish they would fix the bug that makes it crash when you try to email an article to someone. Each time, I have to delete and reload it be able to use it again and then I lose all the articles I saved. I would give it 5 stars if they fixed it, because the articles are very well written and new ones are added regularly.

Videos. How do I view videos on this app? There is no link that will allow me to open and view them.

Living it. Just downloaded it and love the information I have cone across. I find myself searching for information for single Christians and it's not easy to find or apply in life for that matter but this app allows some good articles that really make you examine your life and the choices you have made. It's important to put God first and follow His law. Feed that spirit man! This app helps to do that thanks!

Fix please!. Very great app in general! But it freezes so often and some days I can't even open it at all! It crashes as well, so many of us would appreciate if you could fix these errors. But wonderful articles on faith and life.

Decent app but flawed. I like this app but someone needs to go through and fix the bugs. You can choose Devotionals - not matter which section you choose and make selections within it does not save. Those selections should be able to be displayed on the the Devotionals - make a section called My Devotionals. The Crosswalk Devotional banner is too large for screen. Too many sections show html code as part of the title. App should be able to be used in both landscape and portrait mode.

Will not work with I️ phone update IOS 11. Disappointing.
