ALL OF MY CHARTS ARE GONE!!!. My customer settings got kicked out with this recent update and I just put them back. But “MY CHARTS” IS NOW EMPTY. THIS UPDATE DELETED ALL OF THE DATA I SAVED HERE!!!

Not functional. This app was perfectly fine until the two most recent updates. Return charts are miscalculated. And certain chart styles do not show any planets. Not sure what’s going on but this incredibly unfortunate an app that costs as much as this one does.

Great app. Has everything I need almost except would like moon phases and gps location used for precise location with possible real time chart

Excellent resource. I use app on iPhone for all of my pro readings now because I’ve gotten so accustomed to its easy navigation and setting controls. The interpretations are a useful resource of insightful information that can propel deeper inquires. Would love to see more asteroids displayed, and that’s about it for criticism, lol. Thanks! 🎯

DO NOT BUY SCAM!. At first glance this app seems promising but it is entirely a waste of time. Get Any app EXCEPT this one. You pay a hefty app charge & still get nothing with the chart reports! It require $3 charge per chart. You’re basically going to stare at a picture of your chart that you should’ve googled instead. Any other app will have a more informative, efficient, and functional platform.

Unintuitive design and limited descriptions. The features are buried in weird places, and the interface is not obvious what you are doing. The transit descriptions are unenlightening at best. I can see some use for pro astrologers but I expect more in the way of interface design and Richness of descriptions and reporting. Feels like I am using an app that was built for windows 20 years ago.

Terrible tech support!!!. I had this app for years and tons of my own charts... and it’s all disappeared one day. Support not even answering me to write back. So upsetting. Don’t buy this app.

Best iOS Astrology App for Classical Astrologers. I am referring to the astrologers who use pre-twentieth century astrological references and techniques (not that classical astrologers ignore the developments after 1900). This app provides some nice options regarding what triplicity, face and decans one wants to use (Egyptian, Ptolemy, Lilly) and uses the traditional aspects (planetary aspects as opposed to the aspects themselves). The tables of essential dignities as well as other tables are very nice. I also have the Mac OS version. Kudos to the developers!

Efficient. Works well without any bloat with many useful features. Well worth the price.

I didn’t believe it would be this useless. There is nothing pro about this app. No calendar. Very vague, novice interpretations. Do your homework. You don't want this. The free ones are better.

Shocked By Negative Reviews. While I wish this App offered more options that I’m interested in (i.e., like adding Seconds to the time choice, being able to differentiate lovers from friends, co-workers, etc. for Reports, and more), this App is great. I use it regularly. As well, if you are on the Developer’s mailing list, I have found them to be up front about the differences between the mobile App and their software for the Mac. I do hope, though, that they will add Seconds as I have found that really helpful. I know you can go in and edit a chart’s time, but it would be great to have that up front with the Minutes, Hours, Days, Years. Thanks!

Very incomplete. Three quarter of all transit interpretations are not available. A very incomplete app

No-Wheel alone is worth it. I love this app. It’s absolutely incredible. For me it’s single handheldly wort the price due to the ability to overlay as many as 4 charts at one time. I’m only typically looking at 2 charts at once often times moving through time! Others seem frustrated with limited functionality. Not sure why. I’m no pro but I spend a couple hours a week using this app as an astrology hobby and I couldn’t be happier. This app has made it easier to visualize and step through time. Candidly one of the things I’d like to see is more support for searching. I.e I’d like to be able to search for part of fortune at certain points in the sky. But maybe that’s a niche use case.

Excellent app. As a professional astrologer, this is an excellent tool and program for working with manny different house systems and reading charts accurately!

This is by far the best astrology app available!. If you’re seriously into astrology or just interested for fun - this is the app to get! Well worth the price because this is an app that gives professional reports based on your full birth information [not “horoscopes” you would find in tabloids just for your sun sign]! The inclusion of Lilith and the White Moon, in the reports, are so appreciated! Love this app! Thank you!

Fix the bugs!!. I’ve got all the updates. But still. Am trying to enter Natal chart date n it reverts to current date n if I can get the birthdate date in, the birth time won’t register!! Plz fix!!

Amazing, BUT. This app is truly amazing, but it would be incredible if the features could be expanded to match the laptop app version EX: the "sheets" options to open Horary templates with the planetary speeds, the moon's last aspects, if it's void, etc! Also, it would be incredible if the color options could also be expanded. My laptop Astro Gold app has most a pitch black theme with burgundy wheel and it looks incredible in comparison with my greyish one on the phone!

Can you add Behenian fixed stars and dwarf planets plz?. I love Stephanie Johnson, and AstroGold is a solid iPhone app. Plz add the fixed stars and Haumea though!

Tech Support Needed - Transits showing incorrectly. Usually the app works great, then today I noticed that all conjunctions were showing as oppositions in the reports and sextiles were showing as semisquares. I almost didnt notice until I saw an opposition listed for two planets at the same degree in a sign, which is a conjunction. Hoping this gets fixed soon!

Don’t buy it. The only way to use this app is to download the desk top version which is over $200!! You can’t use the app to create new charts it must be done on the desktop version. Waste of money.

Basic. There are so many other apps that do the same thing for free. Go download those instead of paying $40 for this one.

Overall Great App — please continue improvements. I’m very happy with this app and find myself using it moreso and moreso as primary astrology software. PLEASE — when will the app finally be able to set the current or “home” location using GPS and GeoIp integration for mobile devices? Such a feature seems like a natural leverage of modern device capabilities for a modern astrology application.

Shocked at how recommended this is. Like the title says, I’m shocked at how many articles online recommend astrogold. I don’t think I’ve ever used a worse app for astrology. The interface is terrible. It doesn’t do anything special or unique enough for me to put up with the horrible organization. I’m just glad I wasted money on this rather than the 200 dollar Mac version.

Trash , overpriced , thieves. I accidentally hit done before I read my full birth report which is an additional 3.99, fine. But it doesn’t save to the App. I contacted customer service for help and received the most condescending reply from someone named Jess I have ever seen. Disgusting

Great program. I use this all the time on my iphone and especially appreciate the update that allows 3 charts in rings (i usually use natal, progressed, and transits). I am so glad this program was available and at a reasonable cost. As a Professional Astrologer and Astrology teacher, I highly recommend it. It is super that the first four discovered Asteroids as well as Chiron are included. I do use the first 13 discovered Asteroids so have to go elsewhere to find current positions of those. But, thankful for what is here!

Timezone incorrect. The timezones are incorrect and I think this completely throws the chart off. For example a pre loaded chart for Miley Cyrus displays Nashville as +6 when it should be -6. I will change my rating if this is fixed...otherwise the app is unfortunately unusable.

Horrible customer service. Customer service has not responded to me in 20 days despite multiple follow ups and attempts to reach them through direct email and their contact form. I gave them multiple chances to respond and the only response I received was for their own product feedback. My questions were never addressed. Due to their customer service I’m switching both my app and desktop app service over to time passages.

DO NOT SPEND THE MONEY. I had high hopes for this app especially at $40... with in app purchases to actually see anything helpful. So I pay for a compatibility report and it gives a generated chart and report. BUT THE CHART AND REPORT DONT MATCH!!! I tried a number of times to use the app for help and it always says can't read something or other, there is no way to get a hold of anyone it's annoying and a rip off! You can get a better more comprehensive report for free on line THAT ACTUALLY MATCHES! What a rip off! I'd give zero stars if that was possible

Awesome. I swear by this app. A must-have for professionals and students.

Professional software done right. Top notch app here that I rely on daily. This professional grade software is for working professional or serious student astrologers, not for a casual user wanting only their own chart. You can exchange chart data with Solar Fire and use the Astro Gold iCloud folder to keep the data in sync between the macOS, ipadOS and iOS versions of the app. Help is through an extensive help system on the vendor’s website.

Half of the planetary transits aren’t explained. No transits past current north/south node explained! No Black Moon, Eris, Pallas, Juno, as well as the semi square sesi square quincunx to mid heaven and part of fortunes….ugh!

Unresponsive customer service. I had a technical question and contacted customer service. They did not even bother to acknowledge my question, let alone help me. Don't waste your money on these thoughtless unhelpful jerks.

not worth it 👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼. i thought this app would be worth the investment since i see professional astrologers use the desktop version all the time. nope. it s not worth the purchase. it only allows you to create three charts. it’s not user friendly at all. prepare to be confused and taken on never ending loops just to figure out how to create a natal chart. and when u finally create it, more than half the interpretations are not available. it also only allows you to create three charts and if you want more you’ll have to keep erasing and replacing charts. i’m not sure how they thought this app is worth the price. time passages and astro future are much much better but i hope astro gold improves this app too.

Fast, accurate, beautiful, easy to use. This is one of the best astrology apps in the App Store, hands down.

Nothing Special. For the price you could use free apps that give you the same information. Just read up on the various aspects in your natal chart. Transits the same. Extra for reports not worth it. Will keep exploring to see if I missed anything special, so far no.

Major glitches in latest version. As of 11/21 update, in transit reports aspect interpretations incorrectly conflate oppositions for conjunctions, trines for squares, sextiles for semi-squares, etc. Other commenters have highlighted similarly significant errors. This needs to be fixed ASAP given the relatively high cost of the app.

The Best Pro-Astrology App On iOS. I’ve been using the program for a couple years now, and the new widgets alone make the app worth it. To have a transit chart and lunar aspects to my natal available on my screen at all times is incredible. Keep up the great work, and I can’t wait to see what you guys add next (maybe a uniwheel display with decans and bounds always visible🥺)

Incredible. I love this app. Very user-friendly, tons of features, including Hellenistic and essential dignities. Very clear layout and lots of charts included. Worth every cent. I don’t have the Mac OS version yet - have been using Io from Timecycles, that is sadly no longer. Will definitely purchase that as well. Highly recommended.

Not user friendly. I don’t find this app easy to use or user friendly and I’ve been working with these sort of apps for a while. It’s very pricing for this confusion and can’t figure out how to add some of the none checked points such as the astroids etc. I’m kind of kicking myself for purchasing this when I’ve been using time nomad which is much cheaper and it’s so much easier to use. You just can’t layer more than 2 charts. I should have read reviews.

Where’s DC?!?!. Maybe I’m dumb, but I can’t find Washington DC. And it won’t let me automatically type in the lat & long.

Deleted All Saved Files >:(. App programmers please reply on how to reacquire all the saved chart files that deleted when the recent update occurred this week without notification. During a Mercury Station no less?! WTH?!

So wonderful!. This program is so amazing. I love the traditional dignity listings, animations, malleable and extensive transit listing capabilities, secondary progressions and solar arc directions, tri-wheels, good brief interpretations... It's not for beginners, but if you already have your feet on the ground with the basics, this program will give you the wings to fly.

Don’t waste your time on this. The worst app.

The new update made the transit list report worse.. Now when I’m trying to look at the transit listing the date never lines up correctly. For example, if I want to look at transits from February 7th 2022 it will switch to February 8th. Or If I switch it to March, it will show April, if i switch the year to 2017 it will show 2018. Also the transits never start on the day i want it to start on instead if I say February 6th it will start on the 4th on the actual transit list option. PLEASE fix this, this app is way too expensive for such mistakes.

DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!!. The app is extremely difficult to use. After 20 minutes of trying to work the app I got frustrated and deleted the app. I emailed the company to request a refund because I was unhappy and not going to continue to use the product. To which they replied, “we have a NO REFUND POLICY.” I wish that was clearly stated in the App Store because I would not have purchased a $40 app if I knew how difficult it would be to use. Do your research. This is not a very user-friendly app. Especially for a beginner like myself. Very disappointed with the app, the customer service and the lack of transparency between the developer and the consumer on Apples platform.

Love this app!. I've used Solar Fire exclusively on my PC, and Kairon on my iPhone. When I saw that Astro Gold was being released I went out and bought an iPad :-) I love this app and highly recommend it to any astrologer, especially if you love solar fire.

stephanie. This app needs lots of further work. You cant type into the information box for the chart you require (with the ipad pop up typewriter) and see what your doing at the same time. When you go to type the box disappears - hello need to see what Im typing into!!!!! Makes this app almost impossible to use. As for how to edit any information into the chart - totally impossible to do. Please fix these very important problems. Also cant print straight from this app - you have to email it first then print - why!!! Very disappointed.

A hug bug and worse. I have been a loyal customer of Solar Fire, the original maker of this App for many years, since the beginning when it was located in Adelaide, Australia. However to my horror I discovered there is a bug in the way this program calculates Secondary Progressions. And it is a huge bug. At first I thought it could not be true, but it is there, I've checked and double checked and I have had Astrologer friends check too. I was advised by an online Reviewer to go online to calculate my progressed Ascendant using an alternative program ... which I did ... and this confirmed there is definitely a bug. However, unfortunately, when I contacted the Company, the technical person refused to admit there was a problem in the program, rather he blamed me for not understanding how progressed Ascendants are calculated... very technical I might add. After exaperated communications, and looking up my Astrology text books at the same time I turned to an independent person online for help who wrote to the Company, I then received an angry email from the Company Director acusing me of libel! I could not believe it. I have the email as evidence. One example in the program ... my daughter's progressed Ascendant has moved 11 degrees in 38 years and mine is similarly slow. I have checked many of the charts I have saved and the problem continued, but different issues for each chart I checked. Another friend the same age as me who was born in the same city and lives at the same latitude as me now has his pAscendant leaping ahead 2 degrees a year, it is skipping forward too fast, and I have observed the SP calculations pacing backwards and forwards in some cases. There are more details but I won't go into them here. The first bug I uncovered in the App was in the progressed Secondary Ascendant calculations. I found when I first purchased the App some time ago now. My pAsc was calculated as Leo which is impossible for natal Capricorn Rising. So I contacted the Company, but because there could be no argument with this impossibility ... ... it was fixed but unfortunately there remain bugs in the program which have not all been corrected. So it was evident from the beginning that there were problems. I'm trusting my nature, natal Venus in Leo. I've been very patient. I accept bugs are normal in programs and I've communicated this fact to the Company. But when the maker of the program refused to accept there were bugs, and accusers me, a loyal customer of many years of libel for pointing it out ... that is worse tham problematic! I could not believe it. The rest of the App I adore, but this bug is not acceptable and it is truly problematic. It needs to be fixed. It would help loyal customers if the Company trusted its customers and treated them with more respect ... the attitude ... was horrible. I am shocked, I feel hurt and powerless. It is unfortunate this Company does not trust its loyal customers. It does not accept a bug exists and worse, it refuses to fix the bug. Then to add salt to the wound, it has accused me of libel for contacting others seeking help and for pointing out there is, in fact, a bug in the program! A major bug. Needless to say, I'm looking for an alternative reeling ... I cannot believe this has happened.

Astro Gold. I’ve used this app on my iPhone every day with no issues. Can highly recommend this app.

Not worth the money. Extremely disappointed.. Save your money. Wish I could get a refund, worst purchase ever. The interpretations are so basic and short. Can get more information and elucidation from any old book on astrology. This really is inadequate. Avoid.

What happened to my review?. Interesting that my review (most recent) is not displaying. Since the update all interpretations are wrong - where it should be an interpretation for a square transit you are given a trine- and so on. No reply for my ticket. I run iPhone 11 .

Limited functionality on iPad. Is there any reason this program’s macOS version couldn’t run on iPad instead of limiting it to the iOS version? Perhaps the developer could make the macOS version free on iPad if someone purchases the macOS version. If not, then please at least add the graphic ephemeris to the iOS version, which would be easily viewable on a larger iPad screen. Maybe an iPadOS version is due? These limitations are so frustrating that I’m now writing my own astrology software that also incorporates Bernadette Brady’s predictive techniques.

Great app. Great for iPhone and iPad for professional astrologers Each version is better and better At last a professional app that is clear to read. The addition of in-app professional reports is also cool.

Crashes and doesn't startup. After the upgrade to the new version the app crashes. Not happy I have of charts that I need.

Not happy :(. Paid for the application. Was using it for about 5 minutes it shut itself down. I clicked on the icon to re-open the application but all it does now is go to a black screen then shuts itself down again. No good to me like that and I'm not happy because I paid $30 for it.

Very impressed. A lot of functionality for a small price, very nicely laid out and easy to use. After being disappointed by other astrology apps it is good to finally have these tools on my phone and not need to reach for a computer.

program freezes on transit reports. would be great but seriously to pay over $30 for an app that continually freezes on transit reports when you click the arrow for details is not acceptable. Fix it and you get 5 stars - leave it and I could at best give this a 2

Nova (peg). I am extremly happy good on you steph your app is fantastic love love love it keep it up with the app as time rolls along but so far I have had no problems and don't expect any I used solar fire for many years and would walk over hot coals to get my hands on new products

Brilliant. Agree with the comment that it is solar fire on Apple, and enjoyable as a result. There is a bit of a knack to entering new charts which could be easier. Interpretations are solid. It would be great if you could put in your own notes as they relate to that chart. It would be great to be able to toggle the aspects at will, on the displayed chart. ie if you see a grand trine it would be great to just see that for a moment without being distracted by all the other aspects in the chart on the screen. Then when you hit the toggle switch, once you have finished looking at one group of aspects, everything else would come back into view.

Import of files from Solar Fire not working. I am happy there is now an iPad version of Solar Fire. I exported a cht file from SolarFire; used the 'Open in AstroGold' option; the program said it had imported OK, but then nothing....AstroGold no longer opens fromthe icon....only option is to reinstall the app, but then there will be no functionallity to import ....can you fix this soon please!!

ICloud bug but good. Says I don’t have iCloud enabled (I do) or disabled for this app (wrong) so everything saved disappeared but I assume it will be fixed - good app updated often and all the features I need.

Needs more.... The App is a great start but needs Table of Dignities, Planetary Hours, Almutens, etc. What would be really nice if Astro Gold and Solar Fire could have a shared online storage for chart data. It would be a subscription services I would pay for. One place where all my charts are safely stored and accessible form either Solar Fire or Astro Gold The app crashes when trying to change Home Location Country

Astro Gold. This is a very convenient and portable tool for iphone and syncs easily with Solar Fire Gold. I like :-)

Excellent pro-level astrology app. This review is based on my first impressions of the app, over two hours or so. Overall it's very polished and shows considerable promise for what is v1.0. I am sure that Astro Gold will continue to be updated and improved. The Good --ACS Atlas and Swiss Ephemeris - the gold standard --Supports most house systems --Reasonably intuitive to use --Crisp and clear chart display --synch charts with Solar Fire PC app (if you have SF) --includes a library of 53 charts of public figures --good value for money Not so good --Planet positions are accurate, but not visual indication which are retrograde. Saturn, for example, is currently (22/3) retrograde, but the app doesn't show this either on the wheel or in the report. A little R symbol is required. Nodes should also be designated retrograde, as required. --No table of dignities. Astracadabra had this, so surprised it's not here. --No Arabic parts (lots) - but can live without them here. --ditto midpoints, cosmobiology. --Double-tap to enlarge the chart would be nice. Current 'pinch and drag' to enlarge is a slower process. --No landscape mode - rotating my iPhone should rotate the app, ideally. This would make space for a better report page (see next) --A chart's report page is rather "light on" in terms of data. I would like to see antisc, planetary speed (fast, av, slow) as well as abovementioned table of digs. A Wish List -- Fixed stars. But can understand the omission - this is a $30 product (and very good value) --More Horary tools - Moons previous and next aspects etc --Planetary hours --Email export a chart as Jpg or PDF - currently app support emailing in Solar Fire format - which isn't much use to me (I use Janus) or a client. --Option to launch app to current transits chart view - this would be great for Horary. Summary A good app with lots of promise. The first truly pro-level astrology app I have found for the iPhone.

Astro Gold. This is a brilliant app for those of us who have never fully come to terms with Solar Fire because we prefer the intuitive approach of Apple computers. It works well on the ipad and is very easy to navigate. This program offers many of the same features as Solar Fire without the tears. Love it!

This is definitely the best astrology app on ipad. I use Solar Fire on virtual pc and this app has stopped me starting the Mac most times. It does so much for an app. Quite pleased and continue to be with every update.

For a $30 programme it is unbelievable, I don't know how you can do it for this price and the effort you put in to please everyone never ceases to amaze me. Thanks for a great programme. Great app. A great app for doing your astrology on the run, but I would love it more if I could edit and delete individual charts from my saved and recently viewed list.

I bought a professional report for one chart now it wants me to buy the same report again for a different chart Is this how it works If so I misunderstood the help indicated you could have as many of that type of report Please advise how to get my same report for another chart thanks

So basic. This software doesn't make much sense to me in the ways of what is available and what is not. Some really basic things are not available -like displaying eclipses- while there are so many systems to work with. It gives me the impression the app has jam packed itself with historical options for marketing but, for its price, its just basic! Just so basic.

New update made app useless!. I’ve used this app for quite sometime. Ever since I updated to version 6. It asked me to refresh my iTunes receipt for this app. It failed! It keeps on saying “Unable to obtain valid App Store receipt”. Please fix this! I’m unable to use this newer version!

Truly outstanding!!. I've downloaded several astrologers apps, and this is by far the best. visually it is beautiful. so great for pulling up charts on the go. easy to use, its everything you want in an app for the pro or student astrologer. thank you!

Problem with latest version. Today, quite suddenly, Astro Gold does not work. It seems that my iPad was updated today without any notification to me. I only discovered that by looking at the version history in the App Store. So, I don't know whether the problem is with Astro Gold, or with the update process. Since I don't know which other apps may have been updated today, I can't check them. I was kinda counting on having the app. Strange that it stops working on a mercury Saturn conjunction. Please fix this and let me use my favorite Astro app again. Regards, Murray

Can we get Terms and Decans?. Great app but I’m hoping they will include bounds/terms and decans in a future update.. also would be cool to have more parts/lots to use as chart points.

$40 and not able to print. This is a rip off, save your money, get an app that you can email and print.

Need a serious UI update/upgrade. Sucks.. 20 years behind in UI. PROS need a quick UI to build charts. Not a hide and seek, scavenger hunt on where to find things. Also, options on the chart layout including symbols. Clean layout option. Look at iPhemeris as an example of a clean layout.

Love it. Easy for someone new to this. They need to fix crashing when editing displayed chart points.

Moon Phase?. Although easy enough to calculate it would be nice to have moon phase shown for a quick read on the go. Other than that great app for me so far as I am just beginning professional astrology career.

Worth the price!. This is by far the most expensive app I have bought. Before buying, I questioned whether it was wort the price but after using it for close to 3 weeks I have to say it's totally worth it. First, I am not a professional astrologer. I've only been studying astrology for 3 years so I consider myself a novice. But this app does everything I need + a bunch of stuff that I don't need (yet). User interface is amazing and very simple to use. You can store hundreds of charts and access them very easily. I learn through example so I have about 80 charts of friends and family stored and it's very straight forward to pull them up and even do comparisons, composites and analyze transits. Transits are beautifully done and the new button that allows you to easily move forward and backwards in time that was added in the last update is absolutely genius! One thing missing which I plan to email the app developers about is an export button. Yes you can export charts to their desktop software, but I would like to be able to email charts, composites and comparisons to myself with the push of a button. Similar to the way I can email myself any web page from safari. PLEASE add this to the next version. Other than that one little thing, this app is totally worth the price! Even my aunt who's been doing astrology for 40 years and who got me into it fell in love with this app and now wants to buy an iPad just because of Astro Gold. Great job guys! I'm looking forward to the next update. And please add the export button :)

Great app but no Mars chart interpretations!. Love this app and really excited about the new features. So far it can do so much more than any I have seen but there is still some work needed on the interpretations. The transits are visible on the chart and the grid but no matching interpretations appear for transiting Mars.

Excellent!. This app is the best one out there. I've used it constantly for years. The one thing I would like to see added is a list of solar and lunar eclipses by date, sign, and degree.

Just like Solar Fire!. Oct 04, 2011: Revising review downward. Ephemeris has a bug. I generated a Transits Here and Now chart for location Stamford, CT. It listed the timezone as EDT +4:00. But at the moment we are actually EST +5:00. All of my charts for this location are using EDT instead of EST, and when I attempt to correct manually by hand the app crashes. Please fix! ----- I'm an avid Solar Fire user and am thrilled to find this app! Seems to have a decent amount of Solar Fire's functionality - will cast charts, let you choose from over a dozen house systems, and show bi-wheels and grids for transits, secondary progressions, solar arc and more. Hands down best app for astrology professionals and students. The full-blown Solar Fire program is more than 5x the price of this app, so totally worth it.

Worth It. So glad I finally decided to make the purchase. So worth it! I've been using Solar Fire for years and it'd amazing to be able to use the same features on the go! **One suggestion: I'd really like to be able to import my custom chart wheels. I've spent a lot of time designing different ones and if that were more customizable I would say 5 stars!

Recent Update Failure. App has been excellent. Unfortunately the most recent update causes it to crash on launch on iPad iOS 5. Hopefully a fix will be issued very soon.

Love it, but.... I love this app. I use it regularly. I am requesting the ability to create lunar and harmonic charts... I could buy a different app, but I prefer the stability of this one. Please ? :)

Astrology app. Not a very good app, very expensive for what it is, a lot of trouble creating a chart, editing and impossible to delete bad chart ( that you create due to all the issues you encounter trying to create one.) When I finally created one, the sings for the houses kept repeting. For example had Scorpio in house 1 and 2, then Sagitarious, Capricon was missing and then ir jumped to Aquarious in house 4. I dont reccomend buying it and now I dont even know how to return it.

Phillip G Beith. A fantastic App. An astrologers dream. Calculates Natal, transits and progressions. Includes ephemeris, atlas and reports. Who would have thought,10 years ago, that you could have carried a pocket chart maker.

Ephemeris doesn't work right. When I go way back to see the planetary transits for the year 1200 or so and I try to go forward by a month, it by default goes back to the year 2000! So I can't go from January 1200 to February 1200. It instead goes forward all the way to Jan 2000. Please fix!

love it. I love this app, it was worth EVERY PENNY. It's perfect for any consulting astrologer on the go. The comprehensiveness is impressive, and the level of customization is really really excellent. The interps are great, too. I wish it were possible to export the interpretive reports and/or print them, that is the only drawback. I would gladly pay a licensing fee to have this capability. Otherwise, love love love it.

Interpretations lacking. Although this app is very thorough, it's for professionals only. The interpretations are very vague. It would be almost useless for beginners. However, if the developer would add more thorough interpretations (which should be easy) it will be perfect.

Astro Gold. I just installed Astro Gold on my new iPad and it is great. It does everything I hoped it would. I had no problem changing the home location to my location. Set up was easy. I was able to enter my preferences quickly and start running charts right away. This is perfect for running charts on the go.

BETTER THAN SOFTWARE ASTROLOGY. I use this app for my daily astrological research and readings. It will do almost anything a major computer astrology program will do. The developers are working on adding more features that will take this app to a point where we would rarely need to use pc software to read charts. I would gladly buy upgrades to this app in a heartbeat if made available.

About Astro Gold. There is a learning curve for this product. However, when we got past all that, this is a great tool to have on your mobile iPhone or iPad. It is so empowering to be able to create charts on the spot. It used to be that the info would be hauled around until I got back to my desk. Now, on the spot. Could use a new tutorial, but once it's figured out, it is truly "gold". The graphics are perfect, and it is easy to see and read.

Would Not Recommend!. This app has several, major problems. First, not all the features work. Only randomly. Second, even with cryptic instructions from the app's tech person, it is difficult to figure out how to synch the Astro Gold IOS app from an iPhone to an iPad, and back! This app is not fully developed and is NOT worth the price!!

A great app, highly recommend. Having studied astrology now for sometime it's surprising to me that these programs do not include the south and north node of every planet. In fact, they all tell a story and are just as important as the lunar nodes!

A Program for a Serious Enthusiast. Considering the price for Astrology programs for PCs. Astro Gold is a bargain. You can compute a complete and aspected chart, get planet positions, aspects and more. You can even email the resulting chart to you in Astro Fire format. This is not a program for entertainment. This is a program for a professional or enthusiast who wants a portable unit to compute charts. If that's what you want/need. Astro Gold is for you.

Love!. This app is worth every penny! I absolutely love how convenient it is to cast charts and check current transits. I'm pretty sure I use it every day! Everything I've ever wanted in an astrology app.

New version 2.1 more excellent improvements. The addition in version 1.0.5 of a dynamic, or time-stepping feature made this program the best astrology app that I have seen or tried, and I raised my rating then from 4 stars to 5. With the latest improvements this program has gotten even better. Although there is some additional functionality that would be useful, Astro Gold's stellar graphics, range of features, and ease of use place it clearly above the competition. As a professional astrologer, having this handy tool on my iPad is wonderful. Highly recommend. Astro Gold started out with gorgeous graphics, and a simple and quick method for producing secondary progressed charts, solar returns, and composite charts; with the recent additions of a time-stepping feature and solar arc directions this program continues on it's path of positive improvement. This is the most expensive astrology app out there that I am aware of - and, in my opinion well worth it.

Excellent App!!. I've had this app for 5 months now and absolutely love it! It's accurate, intuitive, and has become my primary go-to program for astrology. The owner seems to really care about producing the best quality product, and is constantly working on keeping that bar high. Having a tri-wheel option would make it perfect for me, but even so, I wish I could give it more stars...money well spent!!

Amazing that it exists--desperately needs iCloud sync. It's astonishing to have a program this powerful and professional for $30 compared to the $300 for the desktop version--that doesn't even run on Macs natively. That mere fact gives 4 stars right off the bat. For me personally, it is a fairly glaring oversight--now that iCloud has existed for over a year--that this app doesn't save and sync chart data across multiple devices. The manual process is laborious and has to be done repeatedly and for every folder individually. This is why iCloud was invented. I assume/hope the developers are working on the integration.

Good start!. Please add a 90 degree dial option! A little clumsy to use - interface could be enhanced but overall it is nice to be able to review solar fire charts with the iPad.

Best chart generator, hands down. I own the other two big chart generators, and this one is not only the best, it is plain and simple a very intuitive iPhone app that generates beautiful, easily-read wheels and aspect grids. It is also very expensive, so you have to balance out the cost with your need for a mobile astrology app of this kind. I don't really care about all the Vedic options that some others have called for. I would recommend that the developers fill out all the traditional angles first (no pun intended). For example, the single best addition for me would be a transit list and transit timeline. I would also like the ability to create my own aspect files, rather than having to modify the included ones. Nicely done.

Worth it!. I was apprehensive about making the purchase, but it has turned out to be a very good value. Astro Gold is a surprisingly comprehensive app loaded with very useful features. It takes a little time getting to know the interface and how to really get the most out of the app, but once the minor learning curve is surpassed, it becomes a very powerful tool. The interpretation text is concise but very thoughtful. In my short time with the app, there have been several updates that include expanded content - I look forward to seeing how the team will make the app better and better as time goes on!

Astro Gold. This is from the makers of Solar Fire for the desktop. Remarkably full featured for the price and very easy to use. They are constantly improving it as well. If you're serious about astrology this is probably the best program out there for the iPad....it also reads Solar Fire data files.

Please fix this. I like the app and I have it on both my iPhone 5 and my iPad and use it regularly and up until recently I haven't had any problems with it but now I noticed that the exact same chart on Both devises had differences but still had the exact information. It will get a 5 star rate when this is fixed because its a great app

It's promising, but can't change location. I too am having problems changing the location. I'm trying to use this app on my iPad and love the idea of being able to draw up a chart away from my main computer. Almost every time I try to change the location the app closes. If I succeed in changing the location from Australia to my State in the US, the app then tells me that there is no such location as Adelaide in Wisconsin. Yeah, I know that. Give me a chance to change it! It doesn't, it closes on me again. I'm caught in this vicious cycle and can't end it.

It is a powerful app that allows you to easily access a breadth of astrological data and with a user interface that is simple and straightforward. This app has been created by a company that has produced high quality astrological software for years and they have poured all their experience and expertise into this latest offering. If you are a practicing astrologer, give this app a try! You are going to love it!!

I hate this app. Normally I'd only give a one star rating to an app that didn't work. This one does, but I feel so ripped off for $30. If you're a beginning astrologer and need a simple chart with interpretations, this one does that, but so do a bunch of FREE or inexpensive apps. If you're an advanced astrologer and want Arabic parts, antiscia, dignities, fixed stars, asteroids, or any user-defined points, this app will NOT do those! However, several free or inexpensive apps will do them. So I just spent $30 for a very pretty chart...which is the one thing this app does well. I'm sorry that I wasted my money on this, and I hope that you won't.

Very good program but ..... I have solar fire gold (most recent edition) and other programs 4 itouch and my computer that r astro related. This program is terrific but it would be nice if you would allow a double tap (like other related apps) that would ZOOM in to the chart as some of us are using a small screen and have older eyes!! Secondly, how do u delete charts?? I don't see how nor is it in the info. Third, many programs allow u to turn your iPod to a landscape view (along with zooming it) when u turn your iPod or phone so please include this in your update! Sigh. But this is just fine tuning and I am very pleased!

Still the best!. I am writing a review to express my gratitude that this app is constantly improved. It provides great, detailed charts. The author adds new features regularly and makes this even better. Who could ask for more?

For the Professional, advanced and intermediate students. Unquestionably an outstanding tool for the serious student of astrology. What I like best is the way it lets me customize everything to my tastes. I use really tight orbs for aspects and this does just what I want.

.. The graphics are very appealing, but I couldn't even enter my city and state (or country) in the Home Location setting to change the default location for casting a chart. I have used Esoteric Technologies' Solar Fire Astrology program for the PC for over 20 years and expected at least complete functionality even if the number of options are limited. It's also not the ideal app for a Mac user because they have provided no other option to import their own chart files other than emailing them (which I can't do because I'm running Solar Fire on my iMac using Crossover.

best astrology app. this is the best astrology app you can find in the app store, I have been using it since version 1 and I'm very happy with it, one thing that I'd like to see added to it is the time-line format to visualize transits and progressions, that alone would be an outstanding feature to have, thank you.

Excellent, 1st class astrology software!. This is the real deal. Simple to use, great set of features, including secondary progressions, and composite charts. I love the fact that you can fine tune a chart or advance transit charts by increments; minutes, hours, days, weeks. Great set of basic interpretations also.

a small bug. Hi Astro gold. I just bought your app. It's the neatest and most user friendly atrology app I ever used. And I spotted a small bug while using it. The Exchange Chart button between chart1 and chart2 was clickable when I was in single chart mode. And when I clicked it, the app just crushed. And it sometimes is just clickable in the single chart mode. It will be perfect it you could fix it soon or in your next build. Thank you.

MORE PURCHASES NECESSARY IF EMAILING CHARTS. You cannot open copies of the charts from this program on your computer or via email UNLESS you have astrology chart software. I truly wish I had known this before spending the $. Astro Gold PLEASE release a version that allows users to send charts as jpg or other common image file types. It does not look like you even make Mac software other than the app, so why the proprietary software hassle? Extremely frustrating. Btw, for anyone looking for an astrology app that sends jpg files of charts, ephemeris does the job.

Best astrology app. I've been using this since it came out (decades long user of Solar Fire). Like that new features are added. I do love this app, but it would be even better if there was a 'Comment' field for charts like in SF. Please add.

Reports Have Strange Symbols. When pulling a report, the planets symbols are replaced with other strange symbols and numbers. Otherwise, the app is great and an excellent backup to the full-length computer program.

Perfect for the iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch. As a professional astrologer, I find AstroGold the ideal tool for chart analysis, especially when traveling, or wanting quick feedback for a client. The GUI is well done, chart creation is very fast on the iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch, report writer is very helpful, and developers are very responsive to queries, as well as continuing to improve the app.

Location from Atlas. I can't use the location data from places stored in the atlas on charts! It's annoying having to type in a city and state every new chart

Work in progress. Astro Gold in its current state is obviously far from perfect. However, calculations appear accurate and options are seemingly plentiful albeit somewhat archaically named. Before I would have spent any money on it I would have preferred to have seen a logical, solid interface for access to the chart library. A glaring omission is the lack of nodal aspects in the report. While descriptions of some aspects are surprisingly short and naive (ok, I understand completely that I am expected to know something about astrology, but I do so that's not the point), when the chart shows that nodal aspects are recognized the report blatantly states "no aspects exist for the north node". If it's a square, that would be a correct observation, but for the south node it will say the same even though the orb is a mere 1.5 degrees. Looking forwards to extensive interface and report upgrades in other words.

Very incomplete. Three quarter of all transit interpretations are not available. A very incomplete app

Ability to send full size 81/2x11 basic charts. People complain about the small print screens charts!!, it's going on 2 years since Astrogold's release, this is a must feature!!!

No Time Map?. Pretty good alternative to Solar Fire, and a little tricky to get used to using if you're really used to the full PC version. My biggest complaint is that my favorite SF feature, the Time Map (where you can see the exact beginning and end of a transit) is nowhere to be found - I'm hoping that a future version of the app will include it.

Wow. this is a great app. I have Solar Fire on my pc so find it easy to use. Not a beginner app but if you use secondary & solar arc progressions, you will like this.
