Fun. These are fun but I think they are hard for a supposed easy level.

Classic British arrowwords. I've been obsessed with Arrow Words forever and finally I can play it on my iPad. It's a great game for anyone who likes these type of crossword puzzle's

Somewhat frustrating. American English doesn't include some of the usages, so solving can be pure random guesswork for those of us in the US

Enjoyable. Especially like the ability to check for correctness.

Challenging enough. Pretty good crossword puzzles, British spelling of words a bit awkward at times though, will probably pay a little for more puzzles.

?strange answers?. Wondering about the answer to Noah's father. Biblically, in the book of Genesis it is listed as Lamech, but the puzzle said that the answer is Ishmael???

Enjoyable. Like these puzzles and features, show errors, etc. Cost a bit much for additional ones but well worth playing for forty free ones.

Learning a lot. I love that I person can request a letter hint.

Disappointed. I found how you set up your crosswords quite confusing...across & down should both be used. And as for your words & "correct" answers - what dictionary source are you using (ie. Since when does 'cinders' mean the same as 'ash'?!?! A wood or coal fire burns to cinders & the residue is ash.....this is only one example). As of now, I'm deleting this app...

Free app!. The British word were a bit different. The puzzles were fun. Very good for a free app.

Fun yet frustrating. This game can be hard to put down, yet at the end you're not told if you make mistakes. Maybe during the game a help option could be added..."show mistakes" so that they would light up.

Wrong screen orientation. I really dislike that all the app navigation screens are portrait orientation only. The actual crosswords will rotate to landscape, but everything else is portrait, so you are constantly turning your ipad around. Also dislike that I can't move on to the next puzzle until I solve the one I'm doing. I like to have multiple puzzles on the go, and keep coming back to them. In summary... this free version does not inspire me to pay for either of the paid versions. Still looking for the perfect crossword app, happy to pay!

Bravo. Challenging, stimulating, and educational. Loved the most difficult puzzle. Thank you.

Crossword. Interesting...could use better assistance w/ corrections n maybe some clearer clues. But, fun to use to pass the time away.

Not bad. It took some getting used to with the clues on the puzzle instead of on the side but once I got used to it there was no problem. The clues do not always match the answer but it makes me think outside the norm. Thank goodness for the cheats!

Good puzzles. Entertaining & challenging. I wish the sound could be muted though without having to shut off the volume of my iPad

Great. Fun and easy to use.

Visual bomb. Very distracting to have the clues printed in the boxes. The handwriting scratching sound is annoying. Don't know if that can be adjusted because I deleted the app after less than 5 mins.

Enjoy!. One of the first free apps I downloaded, love it! Relaxing, challenging and my kids play it too!

Not for me. I doubt the maker of this puzzle is from the US. There are a number of words not used here in the US. Also, answers don't always make sense.

Don't like it. The screen is so hard to read. The clues on the puzzle causes clutter and makes it so complicated. Plus some of the answers are incorrect and don't make sense. The sound effects are probably the only nice thing about this

Really dislike interface. Did one clue, changed the format, still hate it. Deleting. If you don't mind the clue in the other squares oh the crossword you may like it but that was visually distracting to me. It is also so zoomed in that on the first easy puzzle I had to scroll to see the whole thing.

I enjoy this app..... Always challenging at every level, because there will be uncommon word solutions. One request: 4 free puzzles on Mondays (one for each level)?

Relaxing and fun. Gets you mind working again

Great for beginners. I've never liked crosswords because I always hit a wall before I finish but like the feature that allows you get just one letter as a hint. Very user friendly!

A bit frustrating. Makes me think and passes the time. The clues could be clearer, as someone else said, but some clues aren't in the right context.

Angry. After spending 99c to download puzzles i received a notification saying the game was not compatible with version ios 9. Thanks a lot!! Would have been nice to know this before I wasted my money, I feel robbed. DON'T DOWNLOAD THIS APP.

Very good. Like the Help section - easy to use for a little or a lot of help. Like that it auto jumps to the next blank space. Clues a nice mix of easy and challenging for each level.

Nice. It would be a 5 if you received a sound or the color changes to red if your answer is incorrect. Very entertaining though.

What is this?. Great crosswords. Looking forward to having fun with these. Interesting format.

Wishing for the full game. It is a great puzzler, and I love that I can request help with a word or a letter. I'm not a fan of the fact that it is limited, ie: only let's you play three of each level before running out of puzzles. It is challenging, which I enjoy, but the clues are not always used in the proper context, or need context.

Arrow crossword. Love the crosswords- 4 levels increase at the perfect pace. I have had this app for a while, and really enjoy it! Closest to a newspaper on my iPad. Recently my normal level has locked up, and I cannot access it- only bug ever encountered. As far as the person complaining about the sound. Turn it off or down!-- I turn off my sound for all games

MJL. I just bought 30 puzzles (normal difficulty) and didn't get them. The charge is already on my credit card and I have nothing. HELP!! Still don't have the puzzles I paid for. Doesn't anyone care?? What do I have to do? Guess what--the charge is gone, thanks. 9/27. Well guess what--I just found a $2.11 charge on my credit card for 30 normal diff. puzzles that should have cost half that. What is going on?? I have the 30 puzzles, but don't appreciate being charged double for them. That will be my last purchase if this isn't corrected.

Needs help. I like the format, however the app freezes and has to be deleted and reloaded too often; I paid for no ads but still get them, perhaps my request was not successful; the puzzle many times has trouble going to landscape.

Good for brain. Ads are a bit annoying, and the screen seems to readjust itself a lot, but content great!

Too Easy. Level classifications do not match solvability. Tough levels are not challenging enough. Otherwise, easy to use and a good way to relax and take your mind off other things

Good. Challenging but also confusing. Would prefer hints letter by letter than solving the complete word when I am stumped. Confusing when letters side by side don't make a word. Still better than others I have tried.

Good fun. These crosswords have the right amount of challenge at each level. Enough to get you started without feeling totally stumped. Like a lot.

Mid-game ads. The app was fun and I was getting into the clues, then was hit with two full-screen ads while playing the crossword. Have uninstalled and won’t be coming back. Incidentally, this was also the reason I quit Crosswords With Friends

Arrow words. The different levels of expertise required for the categories was interesting giving you opportunities to excel. Overall good rating. Only bug is having to move the grid around.

Arrow words free. Loved this so much I upgraded to the 'plus' version. Much better than the other crossword ups.

Not bad. Clues were of a reasonable challenge but I did find it a pain to have to move the screen around to access all the puzzle.

Keeps the mind ticking. Good little arrowwords app. Good clues, challenging enough to keep occupied. Different levels varied by size of puzzle, with only slight incremental change in clue difficulty. 'Help' button gives segmental options for continuing the puzzle, without having to give too much away if you don't want it. Worth having!

Incorrect spelling for a start. Some of the clues don’t make sense, some of the answer words aren’t spelt correctly which makes this impossible to play so I am deleting ( for example amend was spelt emend - not even a word so how was I ever going to work that one out) the same words and clues get repeated often

Learn to spell!. I like this crossword app but they need to realise that Sydney in Australia is spelled with a y not an i ! It’s annoying!!!

Easy to use. Found it simple to use, higher levels more challenging but uses many Americanisms.

Some irritants. A few points: 1. I dispute several clues but can roll with that. 2. Is irritating that time can't be paused for a logout and return: which is how one usually plays a crossword. 3. Is not a high difficulty compared to say Guardian Weekly quick crosswords. 4. Annoying that the puzzle laps under keyboard on iPad, meaning level 4 puzzle is not all visible at once. Frustrating as this is compounded by the blank squares not being marked. In sum, wd like to see these addressed, and a serious level of difficulty introduced. Meantime, back to GW crosswords online for me.

To many ads. To many ads.

Too american. Too many answers are unique to the USA. Sorry, but the whole world is not the USA! Some answers are slang or short versions of the clue itself. The structure of the crosswords can mean some words are hardly connected to others. I was seeking a quality mind challenge, but this is not it.

Time waster extraordinaire. Found this app great for wasting time, addictive, easy to use and the help button is very very useful!

Arrow words. Great time consumer, both relax's the brain, yet stimulates. The difficult puzzles are no harder than the easy? Or are the easy one's hard! The letter error button "IS" great, thanks.

Challenging. An interesting set of world clues. As an Aussie a bit tricky working out the meaning of some clues. However lots of fun and educational. Can't wait to try more.

Review. A little different than a standard crossword puzzle but still interesting. A bit more of an explanation of rules or even how some of the clues work, would facilitate a quicker learning by new users.

Crosswor app. The free app only allows u to play 3 games in the same skill category. It then prompts u to upgrade, therefore it's usage is very limited. In addition, there is noway to see what parts of the puzzle you are missing. It only shows percentages completed, so u have to go line by line trying to find where you are missing a letter! A bit disappointing.

Awesome. Very engaging

Awkward. It's awkward to move around - to see the whole puzzle. An amazing task - to put all the clues in with the body of the puzzle. This part of the concept is pretty good. Not bad. With all the other crossword puzzles out there, it's hard to compete.

So So. As a novice in the game business, missing info to save on completion. Confusing because format allows letters in spaces without connection to other words in the puzzle. When used to normal crosswords have had difficulty getting used to this format. Will continue but am looking for another crossword game.
