Great app! Keeps me on schedule & productive. I have been using versions of this app for several years. I love that my calendar shows up on my phone and my iPad. As a busy mom I have a lot going on and need to keep track of multiple family members plans, while not packing too much into our schedule. This app is so great because I can see our week at a glance with our appointments and plans block out. It's so easy to drag and drop appointments to different days so that if one day gets overwhelming I can easily mentally reschedule things. It's a great time management tool and keeps me productive without feeling overwhelmed.

Best iPad Calendar App on the Market. I depend on this app every day for all of my appointments. The templates are particularly good for fast entry while face-to-face with a receptionist, doctor, or anyone you frequent on a non-repeating basis. Much better than the iOS built in calendar.

A great calendar app. Selected initially because of limitations in the base level iPhone calendar, I still find WeekCal to be a good way to schedule things. It interfaces with seemingly everything (google calendar, the iPhone calendar,etc) with few issues.

Love, Love, Love it!. I’ve been using Week Cal for years and it just works. It’s so easy to use. Set an appointment with one tap and a quick name. It also has all the bells and whistles you’ll need. The week view is my favorite, which I keep opened on my iPad, iPhone and MacBook.

Excellent App. This is what Apple should have as their default calendar app. This has all the feature I want and need. The templates are a great time saver. Accessing my contacts for location and easy dial up is also great. I was so happy with the iPad version I went and bought the iPhone version. Best money I've spent on two great apps. Now my wife and I know exactly what is going on, which has simplified our lives.

Good App. I’ve been using this app for about 10 years. Through many updates the company works to keep it at the front of the app pack. My needs are different now than 10 years ago but I still need to keep up with my appointments.

Oh, but the crashing.. This is by far the best calendar app I have found, and I desperately want to continue using it, but, ugh, it crashes constantly, and it is making me crazy. I contacted the developer and received an email stating that the problem would be fixed in the next update, but it has been 6 weeks, and no update has materialized. Meanwhile, the crashing just keeps happening more and more frequently. I need a great calendar app for my business, and this is the only app that met my needs, but it’s basically worthless at this point. Please, please fix it!

User friendly and easily customizable. I just wanted a simple but effective calendar for work and home event scheduling. This app fits the bill. Customer service is nice as well. They are friendly and respond quickly and helpfully.

Excellent responsive Customer Svc, & the best iOS calendar!. This really is the best calendar app in the AppStore (and I think it's the best app overall). WeekCalendar is years ahead of Apple's pale calendar offering, and GoogleCalendar needs a lot of work to even be in the same ballpark. Whenever I've had a query, all I had to do was to email CS, and in less than 24 hours, I have my answer. Unlike with other AppStore offerings, I hear from the same CS agent every time I need help, and we've actually become quite friendly personally via emails. I mentioned that my heritage includes ancestors from Holland and that I would absolutely love to visit The Netherlands to visit UtiliTap and the bulb farms, and she went out of her way to send me a couple of gorgeous photos which are my wallpaper now! UtiliTap hires the most personable and knowledgeable people to be CS agents, and their programmers are absolutely top notch. Is WeekCalendar worth $7.50 per year? Absolutely! Where else can you find such tremendous functionality and human responsiveness for only sixty-three cents per month?! Thank you, Utilitap!

Cannot send event to another iPhone user.. I would have given 5 stars except... Sending an event iPhone user to iPhone user via Send Message does not work in current version. It used work! My husband and I do this all the time. Or, would like to be able to again. WeekCal folks claim they cannot reproduce the problem, therefore are not fixing it. Big problem. Both of us have reported details multiple times - versions of devices and iOS, steps to reproduce, exact wording of the message the recipient gets upon opening the event text message. All to no effect. Not OK. We still have and use the app, but this is not the type of response we have come to expect from WeekCal.

Essential calendaring app. The ability to copy and paste events is a critical feature of WeekCal which shockingly remains absent from the built-in calendar app to this day. This is a must-have application for me and is something I use on a daily basis to manage my businesses.

Recommend app and 1 addition. Absolutely love this calendar and recommend it to everyone. The only things I would like to see added, is an option to have the commute time actually show up on the calendar blocks. I work around this by sometimes adding a new event called commute, but since the calendar calculates drive time anyway (visible in the event info, but not blocked off on the calendar) why not just have an option to see it in the week view? Would be very helpful for tight schedule days! Also, I'd love to see a version for my desktop

Week Cal - The Best. I really enjoy using Week Cal I like the color coding for different events and the reminders to let me know when an event is going to take place. I also like the "share" with other people. WeekCal keeps me on track. It’s the best app I’ve found

Great app: needs time zone and iPad Split View support. This is a great app, but there has not been much relevant development over the last few years. It needs two improvements: - support for iPad Split View - it is great to switch time zones within the app to show what your calendar looks like before you travel across time zones, but the feature is hidden. Please make it more easy to find.

Calendar of Choice. This is my def go-to choice for calendar for my iPad. I esp like the color coding that my wife and I are able to do with this program. The colors are so vibrant and clear that I much prefer this over the Apple calendar. The views are also exactly what I like.

Great App BUT....... Have been using this calendar on my iPhone and iPad for many years but have experienced a problem on my IPad using iOS 11.1.3 - in trying to delete one episode of a monthly scheduled appointment, the app shuts down every time I try. I can delete with no problem on my iPhone using iOS 10. Have you guys not updated the app for 11? Please get this adjusted as I love the app - especially if mini-month view. Thanks.

Have used this app for years - love it. I found this app after searching for a calendar that I could easily customize for work. I have used it for several years now and continue to enjoy its versatility and customization capabilities. I recently reached out to support for an issue and it was readily fixed with a short time. Excellent app and highly recommended!

More than a calendar. I use this calendar app to not only track my appointments, but also my every day jobs, along with travel time, airline flights and number of persons traveling!

Best Calendar Functionality, Interface Needs More Work. The iPhone app is the best calendar on the market, bar none. The iPad app is functionally great. Huge improvement over the native Apple app and every bit as good as Microsoft's outlook. The interface (look and feel) needs a lot more work. Doesn't have the same eye appeal as other calendars out there and is a bit of a turn off. Update: This is still one of the best calendars on the market, functionally. However, over all this time the look has become so stale and outdated, it’s almost discouraging to use. A “look and feel” update is long overdue.

Don’t get the update. Ruined it!. I had the different views and all was well. I do on my iPhone but Now I don’t on my iPad Pro. Every time my finger slightly slides on the screen your Upgrade pop up jumps up over the screen! I can’t slide from one month to the next now. It is horrible! Nor do I have the views my phone has. Scam to require a new subscription for a second device just because it is an iPad instead of another iPhone. I hit restore purchase but it says no IPAD subscription.

Still the best. WeekCalendar is still the best iOS calendar there is. Ridiculous amount of customization. Easy to use and very powerful. My two request are to bring the iPad version to the same level as the iPhone version, and to add more views beyond glossy, night, contrasting, etc.

Very happy with this app. This app helps keep me organized. I like the ability to have different "calendars" to help categorize items. Also to be able to choose which "calendars" I wish to view. I like the "mini month" view best. I use the "list" view on occasion.

This Calendar Saves Me Time and Work. ThisAs a counselor calendar is, without hesitation, much better than the IPad ! I previously wrote that I was extremethis calendar, and I still am. However, there are some problems that have surfaced in the last few months that are stressful when you depend as heavily as I do on this calendar. Without warning, my appointments have been erased, and I can repeatedly enter them and they show up and then disappear before my eyes! The search function can suddenly get stuck and it won't open fully to reveal results which means I have to turn my IPad off so it starts working again. When my work requires that I answer client questions on the basis of appointments, this can cause me to respond erroneously or delay my response and even forget an appointment or double-book!! These problems don't happen consistently, but enough that they are stressful. If these glitches can be fixed, this is the only calendar app for me.

Rating WeekCal Per Request. I like the calendar app, but it does not automatically sync among the three devices that I have (iPad Pro, iPad mini, and iPhone 7, all backed up to iCloud). The iPad Pro has the definitive calendar. I would like to check/update on my iPhone when I am away from home, but so far I am unable to do that. I would give the app five stars if the syncing worked properly and automatically, similar to email.

Help!!!. I love this app but suddenly the buttons in an appointment no longer work: Share, Print, More, etc. I can’t find anywhere to send a message to fix this.

Easy to use. This calendar program is easy to figure out how to use, which really enhances it's usefulness. I really like the ability to isolate and PRINT a history of appointments and their notes. Also, moving around through months and even years is done with one step.

More features than Apple Calendar. I bought this calendar several years ago because the Apple calendar did not have the ability to show all your events in a single day (more than about 3) when in Month mode. Since then more features have been added. The only drawback so far, is that my wife, who gets her apps from my Apple account was locked out and could not see the events, and forced to pay again for the app.

Stupidest bug ever and the tech service reply. When you set alarms you can set 1st and 2nd alarms. Example: I set the first to 1 hr and then the 2nd to 15 min. Then when I save it and look at it on Weekcal, it's reversed! It show 1st alarm 15 min. And 2nd alarm 1 hr. So I open it and reset it correctly to no avail. So I never know if my alarms, which I count on are correct. I'm always opening and redoing all my events because I don't know since it shows reversed times. I have contacted client services 3 times. Their response is and this is only one of their direct quotes: "Thanks for your comment. As already told the alerts will be executed at the time you set them, even if the display order has changed. There's no order in database, just alert times. Kind regards, Sophie" REALLY? Are you kidding me? This isn't display order. This actually shows the ALARM TITLES REVERSED. I hope the developers see this review. Alarms are essential in my calendar as I'm sure they are in everyone's. The fact that there is a major bug issue since one of their software updates is denied 3 different times is horrific at the least.

No Split View Mode and Bad Scroll Behavior. Update: On the iPhone in List view. Set up a custom Calendar. Switch to it. Move to scroll the list view. The scroll jumps to two or three years in the past. Previous: Despite all that it is able to do, WeekCal iPad does not work in split view mode on the iPad. Power planners (who are the most likely audience) be warned. You can set all sorts of colors and bells and whistles and features inside the app, but you will be sorely limited or overburdened to do a parallel review of your calendar content against any content outside of it, for example to review your calendar side-by-side against a project or task sheet (e.g. OmniFocus or Things).

Great app!. WeekCal is my go-to calendar app on my ipad for more than a year. It has worked seamlessly for me and I appreciate small features like the ability to quickly change the meeting lengths. It's simple and quick to use and I have no complaints. Thank you!

So much better!. I got this because the iPad calendar was miserable to use esp to view a whole week at a time. This is a big improvement. I wish I could apply color coding by task (home/errands, health/beauty, church, clubs, social, family)... or maybe there is a way and I just haven’t found it yet.

A Go To Calendar App. Beautiful interface with many custom features. Can be if very efficient calendar. Love the sync between my iPad Pro and iPhone, plus we have a family calendar (green) that syncs with each other so we know what’s going on. Cannot say enough good things about WeekCal- have used for years. It’s a basic plus calendar that is reliable, easy to use and fits all of our needs. You can send calendar invites to coordinate events. Personally, I keep calendar features simple and to the point to avoid clutter and confusion. Oddly enough, I use a paper monthly calendar for work, but his app handles all of my personal appointments. Additionally, the “to do” feature integration is awesome. I don’t need a separate “To Do” app; this one is very good. Templates are useful if needed. Looks quite clean and eye friendly, especially on the iPad Pro. Give this one a chance!!

Trusted and dependable app. I have been a satisfied user of WeekCal for many years. The capabilities are far superior to Apple’s native calendar. Agenda view is very useful to keep me on track. That view is still not available on iPad, which remains perplexing.

Fantastic alternative to native iOS calendar. I like the ability to see the whole month and read what is scheduled in each day. That way I can glance at the month and get a good idea or reminder what i have already committed to instead of having to tap on each day to find out. I like that it is customizable to what my needs are in a calendar.

This app it's a 6 stars app. If you are a person who uses a calendar and wandered how can I duplicate this event or how can I copy and paste this. Or how can I move this event around. This is exactly what you need. It's a 6 stars app. If you buy the app make sure you read the manual to understand what this app is capable of. It's going to be very helpful.

Don’t upgrade to PRO!!!. I love this calendar for my ipad! It is the best one around. However, after using if for 2-3 years, I thought I’d upgrade to pro to see if I would love it even more. Now...it won’t work well at all! Everything is a dysfunction, I mean everything!!! Its essentially useless. I contacted the developers to try and get the problems cleared up or at least give me money back for the pro version and delete it from my calendar. Its been two weeks, 2 attempts to contact them and now and completely no response!

Perfectly satisfied. I don't write many reviews but this product deserves some attention. I am a physician with an unusually complicated schedule, frequent changes, some repeats, different categories and codes. The different colors enable me to see at a glance which patients I must call (orange), which I left a message with appt time (lime green) and which confirmed (light blue), and out-of-office engagements (red). Simple and effective. Best program ever, up there with Quicken.

iPad version - Does NOT Work. It’s been like a month since I signed up for a free 2 week trail before o this later and still doesn’t work!the subscription started. Never has worked. They now have my subscription fee and they keep saying they are working on it. “We apologize for the inconvenience. The team is still looking into the subscription issue with the WeekCal for iPad.” The free trail only lets you see the current month so I now have a 5 day usefull calendar 😩.

Used to be a Great app. Really love this app. The color coding events, enabling to add the emoticons, seeing same info on my iPhone and my iPad, repeat functionality, the different views and the notification choices are great. I just wish you could sort by appointment type. Update: all the different overlapping calendars are confusing. Each holiday has 2 entries, unable to streamline or delete duplicates. Also, when I program my schedule into app, if I touch a date wrong or for too long it changes my schedule which is unhelpful. Update: You lost another star. I HATE that I can’t change my day view. I don’t want a split screen to see other events. I just want to see that day but iPad version doesn’t give that option any more. Also not happy you haven’t worked with iCloud and figured out a way to keep color coded event preferences synced between devices. It’s time to start looking for a new app, which is a shame. None of my previous issues have even been addressed and they just keep making it worse not better.

Can’t take the incessant subscription nagging anymore. I purchased this app years ago. PURCHASED. Then the developer decided to switch to a “freemium” model where the app is free but they nag you repeatedly to subscribe to the “pro” version. Purchasers of the app should have been permanently grandfathered into a nag-free experience… no, I don’t expect the “pro” features for free, just to not hit me with this obtrusive ad over and over again. I’m done with this app.

Frustrating. Every time there is an update, my custom colors and icons get wiped out. Please fix this problem. Additionally, should have the option of being able to choose which holidays/events appear on my calendar. Right now, have to accept all holidays/events because they are “Read Only.” Which means there is no way to delete these holidays/events that are of no interest to me. This needs to be fixed.

Forces you to sync with your personal calendar. I bought this thinking it would be the perfect calendar to use for work, but if forces you to sync with your personal calendar. Very disappointed. I bought this bc google calendar forces you to sync with your gmail account. I need something to keep my work calendar separate from my personal calendar. I wanted this just for work with none of my personal stuff on it. Frustrating to say the least. I suppose it would be a good personal calendar but definitely not for work.

One of the best apps ever, period.. Tons of flexibility, reliable as dirt, easy to use, links to other calendars you own, and can download to and from family members, as well as maintaining your own calendars. Much easier to use than Apple’s calendar. This program, I believe, actually acts as a front-end to the Apple calendar, meaning you get the functionality of Apple’s calendar, but with a much better interface. What more do you want?

Excellent Calendar App. After suffering with Apple’s built in Calendar app and several others, I settled on this one and have very happy with it for years. Works well, has drag and drop for rescheduling, copying, and resizing appointments, as well as other nice features such as holiday calendars. You can integrate locations, urls, and you can set multiple alarms for appointments, which is nice for important, but infrequent, appointments like birthdays, anniversaries, dental cleanings, etc.

Easy to read monthly calendar.. I use WeekCal for iPad with only the monthly view. It is easier to read than the native calendar app. And I can increase the font size for my over 50 eyes. This replaces my paper monthly calendar for an overall view of the month. I would like the icon to show the day of week and date like the native app.

Been using for years; love it!. WeekCal is my go to calendar app on both my iphone and ipad. It synchs well with ical, so when I add events from email or text, I’m good to go. I also utilize it’s customizable views and calendar colors, as well as enjoy its overall beautiful user interface.

The way to visualize your week. I usually use the week view. The auto color feature is great and lets me see scheduled meetings, personal appointments and work tasks in full color. A great way to visualize time management. Hardly any glitches ever.

I don’t get it…. OK so the app actually deserves four stars minimum, but I’m giving it one to accentuate this simple point-I messaged them and ask them this question and they gave me a stupid answer like we can’t Satisfy all of our users requests, which is ridiculous. What I asked was simply one of the features that was in the iPad app be available on the iPhone and vice versa with a different features, it’s super simple and easy to do I don’t get why they don’t do that because that simple thing is a huge problem for me. I want to see only three days or four days in my week view on the iPad app, and I want to Be able to choose multiple events in order to move or copy them in the iPad app both of these are respectively available in the other one… Seems ridiculously simple to just add the features especially since I already paid a lot of money for both of the apps! Fix this dammit!

Custom Colors Not Working Even with Most Recent Update. I have used this app for many years without any issues. I use it on both my iPad and my iPhone. Recently, the custom colors stopped working for me. I was told I needed to have the Pro subscription in order to continue using custom colors. I did the subscription, and the custom colors still aren’t working. There was an app update about 6 days ago which I was told fixed the custom colors issue. I updated the app on both my devices, and the custom colors I wanted worked…for about three days, then they disappeared again from the custom colors list. Aaaargh! I reported my issue (again) to Support two days ago, and so far have not even had so much as an acknowledgement. If you aren’t going to fix this issue, just say so! NOT a happy camper!

Scam. I paid last year for the pro subscription. Starting this year, while they still took my money, the iPad app no longer recognizes that I’m a Pro subscriber. Multiple emails back and forth with tech support have not resolved the problem. I love the app. The reason I pay for Pro is to be able to use the monthly view. I’ve asked for my money back and been told only that the developers are working on the bug. You can’t charge a fee if you don’t have a way to deliver the service. Dishonest fraud!

Welcome back. I was disappointed when weekcal hd was pulled from the App Store over a year ago. So much functionality it has is missing on the native cal. The revised weekcal hd has all the functionality of the old and phone version which is fantastic, the layout and appearance needs some minor tweaking and it'll be 5 stars. I might add that weekcal support is great.

Glad to see its finally back. Love this app on my phone. As a part time worker I love being able to hide the weekdays I don't work to just show my work week. This option isn't on iPad version yet, sure it will turn up in "visible days" settings shortly as they often provide app updates. Great work team, looks fantastic!

It's finally here. I have been using the iPhone version of this calendar since it was released and have been waiting patiently for the HD version. I love all the new features and it's fun exploring the menus to find where settings are. I love the clarity that using different colours and icons for specific events brings, and I especially love the drag and drop feature. 5 star without a doubt Kris Williams

Excellent program and support. Emailed a question and got a reply the same day! Surprised me! Very good program, ability to choose your own colors makes looking at the calendar so much easier. My fingers find it hard to get the right spot for resizing the appointment, this aside, I love the ability to drag and drop the appointment into a different time slot. A stayer on my iPad for sure. Only suggestions would be to have the time appear out from under finger when moving the appointment and to have a larger handle for resizing the appointment when adjusting the duration of the appointment. Awesome job!

Best calendar for IOS devices out there!. Having been an avid user of Week Calendar for the iPhone I was delighted when the HD iPad version was released. The team of developers are excited, motivated and talented! They are always updating/improving the app with tweaks and are always open to suggestions. This has made my life just that little bit easier to organise!! Money well spent!

Incredibly Useful Calendar App. This is simply the most useful and customisable calendar app I've used. Try it, if you're looking for Calendar on steroids. Kind of like a revved up Busycal for iPhone and iPad. Looks good, speed and use ability are great. Top work and kudos to the Weekcal team!

At Last!!!. Have been waiting over a year for an iPad version of this app. I have tried many and Week Calendar has been the workhorse of my iPhone and now for my iPad. It is by far the best out there and keeps getting better. I am a very happy chappy. Don't even hesitate to get this - the most important app on my ipad.

From 5 stars to 1 star (well 0 stars, really). New version (8.0.2) has a fatal bug - whenever you select a task and tap on 'Edit', you're presented with an empty white box instead of the details to be edited, and you have to crash the app out to recover from the lock-out. Effectively, you can no longer do edits in this new version, at least on IOS 8.1.2. A previously-brilliant app rendered useless by poor testing, it would seem - how could a bug this obvious get past quality control?!? ...... If you haven't already upgraded, don't!

Google subscription calendar not updating. Hi WeekCal team, I’ve been using the app since I got my iPad in 2015. Really happy with it and my whole life relies on its scheduling. However, recently, I noticed that a subscription calendar from Google has not been updating consistently with the latest information/ changes. This is alarming as the subscribed calendar is in UTC time as compared to my WeekCal to my local time so I rely on it to do the time conversion. Please help. This is only a recent development as previously, the subscribed Google Calendar updates in the WeekCal app almost instantaneously. Thank you.

Works well and does most of what I want. Overall easy to use and quite practical, once you get used to a few quirks. Much better than the built in calendar.

Much better than Apple's Calendar. This app is great. Super customisable, easy to use, full of useful features and very, very intuitive. Just the calendar that should be included as default in any iPad. Moreover, support is fast and developer gladly receive suggestions. It's a must!

No Agenda view - what is the point?. The reason I purchased this app was to have a high definition version of the Agenda view on my iPad. But it is not available - it is ONLY on the iPhone version! This is ridiculous because the Agenda view is the best thing about Week Cal. I have used it on my iPhone for years and was really looking forward to having it on my iPad in High Definition. As Megal13 says below, it is a great disappointment. Without an Agenda view, the sad truth is that the HD version of Week Cal offers little more than Apple's built in calendar.

Good value. I have used the calendar for several years as my only calendar. It works. I haven’t missed appointments during that time. It has useful features and is easy to read.

Used to be good, developers got greedy in the last year. I thought it was just me, but after reading the review before mine I see that there was a trend towards greediness and failure to provide further service. This is still a good app, and I *already* paid for the thing, and now they’ve gone ahead and removed some basic functionality (Like being able to click on URL links and have them actually do something, not now!). I wouldn’t have thought you’d be allowed to remove functionality that somebody has already paid for, and then tell them to upgrade to pro if they want to access that. Actually considering to contact the App Store / Apple to see if they’re allowed to do this is it doesn’t seem to follow the basic terms of contract law and product sales. I’ve been using this app for 7 years. Get yourselves together and stop being greedy, youre gonna lose new people and your loyal user base. Whatever you decided to do 1 year ago was the WRONG direction to go in.

Don’t pay the subscription!. Well, two years nice I wrote the review below and still no improvement and no dark mode on the iPad version. I’d hoped I would be able to say it was better and rate a few more stars, but no. Back to the ios calendar on iPad. Ok. I’ve always liked this app BUT EARLIER THIS YEAR I SUBSCRIBED AND IT GETS ME NOTHING! So, as it stands, without the pro features THAT I’VE PAID FOR, the native iOS app is a better fit for me. Even with the pro features, if they ever get it working for me ( in the meantime I’ve paid for something I’m not getting) I can’t, for example, get on a plane in one time zone and get off in another with the app recognising that and the ability to set those time zones. So every time I get on or off a plane all the timings go wild and there is no setting or combination of time zone settings that makes it work. I’ve now been waiting over 2 months for them to fix this. They can’t tell me when they will have it fixed. They say I’ll have to wait for the next update. Maybe. If I want a refund for the service I’ve paid for but not received I have to take that up with Apple. Really very poor. They’re getting one star because I don’t think you can give them 0 stars. So, I’m planning on dumping this and I’ve reduced my rating from four to one star.

Can no longer share events via text!. I have been using this app for a while now and for the last month the app will not allow me to share events via text/imessage which is a feature i usually use every day to send events to workers. I have tried to message weekcal via their support email and it keeps stating “something went wrong”. So cannot contact support. Im pretty disappointed with this app now

What a great app. What the calendar should be... Great work guys. Ability to email all invitees, drop and drag, set up a new appointment by tap the time you want is all awesome. Would be good if date showed on calendar icon (home screen) but not a major issue. So many great features and have iPhone version as well... Awesome work...

Very good, but.... I was prompted by the app to write a review, so here goes... This is a very good app; however, a problem with the Month display of events in the week after the April changeover from daylight saving time in Sydney, Australia (events are displayed on the wrong day) still isn't fixed despite two complaints, several updates and multiple promises. Not a good look, guys. Leaves something of a sour taste from an otherwise very sweet app, hence 4/5 stars. Once again, please fix this.

Great App!. My most used App. Each version just gets better and better. I have it both on my iPhone and iPad. I would like the option of syncing both devices via wireless or uploading to dropbox rather than having to plug into computer every day to sync.

Amazing .... Perfect. Brilliant app, have been using the iPhone version for ages now. Strong support and a great presence on twitter from the developers as well. Constant updates means the small couple of things that could be improved will be addressed in later updates. It is everything that the stock calendar app should be.

Best of the bunch!. Of all the squillions of Calendar apps in the App Store, this one is pretty hard to beat, and I've tried them all! Only minor comment is it may be a little over engineered with a huge number of options available, but for some, this may be great! Still, it's a top app and you won't be disappointed !

Great app and support. Really liked this calendar, better than the apple app. Had a couple of queries about 24 hr clock and changing the shades of the colours. Fired off an email to the support address. Within a few hours had a great response from Andreas, who solved my problems simply.

Very good, but a bit less necessary than the iPhone version. Apple’s built-in calendar app is tolerable on the iPad but woeful to use on the iPhone, which is why WeekCal really shines. The iPad version is well worth having for cross-platform integration of templates and for being more pleasing and tractable format-wise than a simple 2X iPhone blow-up.

Better than apple's. Great app; can choose hundreds & thousands of colours! Also love how the yearly view is set out it's awesome!! I would like to see a week to a page summary (like a diary) with Monday - wed on the left and thurs-sun on the right when I turn the screen landscape Don't know if it's possible but to be able to link to emails would be good especially for meetings and also when you add web addresses to notes link to www would be great also!!!

Very useful App for my businesses. This App has helped replace my paper diary which was a major part of my organisation of three businesses and key to maintaining control. Being able to have such a quick and useful calendar, supplemented with a separate note taking App and To-Do App means I now run a three-business-diary on the fly from anywhere with ease. It has been instrumental in going digital with my management and I would not be without it now. Highly recommended to anyone who needs to accurately schedule many tasks.

The Best iPad & iPhone Calendar. Better than the standard Apple Calendar - Handles multiple bookings at the same time (ie: private and work server calenders) Simply the best - Works with Exchange server (Ive purchased both versions) - The standard apple one gets messy and overlays the appointments whereas this one displays side by side.

Yeeees!. I have long awaited the ipad version of this app. I use the iPhone version and its what the internal app should be. Intuitive - tapping where you would expect to tap to create or change appointments. Much better visibility too with as many layouts as you need for different purposes. I consider this a must have!

Very happy. Was skeptical about how much better it would be to the standard application - the extra options and tweaks take this app beyond comparison. Such simple yet essential improvements completely change the whole user perception. Customizable co our based on auto word recognition is beyond what I expected. Basically, what the original Apple App should have been. Very Happy !!

Unhappy. This app used to be really good and if there was a problem the app developer, Daniel I think, would respond within an hour or two. However, that has now changed. I wrote an email a few months ago to ask for assistance but never received a reply. I again wrote a couple of weeks ago as my Ipad and iphone are not synching, again, no reply. I had not changed any settings but did upgrade the app. Really disappointing.

Great App. This app has a bunch of customisations, which means there's probably something for everyone. What it does have that I absolutely love is a day vew that places an agenda view next to a day view, with a day picker for the month beneath. It's pretty much what I've been looking for. Very useful format on the iPad and I've removed the stock calendar.

Not a terrible app, but overpriced .... ... especially when coupled with the iPhone app. If you're an iPad/iPhone user, there are better options with significantly better price points. If you only use one device, it's ok, but not fantastic. Tough to recommend at these prices. Also has a number of subscription only calendars, the most annoying of which is a weather feature that always momentarily appears and disappears when opening the app, even when you don't have or want) that subscription. Overall, this app had a good early life, but the quest for profit taking has pushed it down below it's peers. Would recommend the developer makes the product more competitive, or the user look elsewhere.

Good App, Getting Dated. I use Week Calendar on my iPhone and its great. The iPad version has many similarities but it hasn't kept pace with the iPhone app. Never mind If you're using an iPad Pro - there is no ability to use it in split view and that should have happened long ago. Other developers have one app that's universal and works on both devices. I don't mind paying for an iPad version, but would expect updated features more promptly - last update of the Week Calendar was 8 months ago. Might look for a different calendar app for my iPad if this one isn't updated soon.

Can’t change months. New update doesn’t let you change months. I would give zero stars if I could.

Happy Camper. About 6 years ago when I bought my iPad I checked out a dozen or so similar apps. This one worked best for my appointments. It was also the one in which I was most comfortable that none of my appointments were being lost.

Drop & Drag. This is the best Weekly Planner - it has a great Drop & Drag feature - you can re-arrange tasks in your week so easily - but wait - it gets even better - you can Drop & Drag on the Month Page as well. Love this App

Downgrading my review- Chronic Issue. I am unfortunately downgrading my review. This is due to chronic problems with synchronization of templates between devices. My templates constantly disappear and have sent tickets into support multiple times. The answer is to turn synchronization off and keep them locally on the device. This really does not fix the problem but it is what I have to do, either wise the templates will be blank. I will put back to a 5 if this ever gets fixed but they do not seem interested from the response.

On the iPhone great.... On iPhone it's excellent, on the iPad it's not. There needs to a serious effort to upgrade the iPad version so that the quality calendar views are universal. In particular, the day/agenda view is not as there seems no means to view only those events for a specific date (on iPhone several choices).

I could not live without it .... It is amazingly easy to add events and move them around if the times change. Different colors for Dad, clients, personal events ... I can see what is on that day at a quick glance. Addresses enter automatically with just a short introduction. Repeating events can be modified as a group ... or on an exception basis ... very flexible. Thank you!

No longer synchronizes with other devices. Until recently, this was by far the best calendar app on the market. Not only would it synchronize with all of your iOS devices and Outlook calendar but it allowed you to seamlessly share calendars with other users of this app. Not only does It no longer allow you to share calendars with other users, it is not even synchronize calendars between your iPhone and iPad on the same iTunes account. I hope this can be corrected soon to restore week calendar to its previous #1 position.

So sad that you can't keep track of your past rdv's to re-schedule appointments !!! Also noticed that the web definition no longer works either. Guess I'll have to go back to using "Windows" again and spread the word around of how Apple treats a loyal customer with 4 devices and a family that i all got hooked on iphones and ipads for over 10 years now. Its time for people to turn to the competition!!!!

Wonderful display. It's concise, clear, well presented and have all the relevant information in one place with the week number. It's definitely on the top for me.

Great App!!. Very helpful, I use it all the time. Also very easy to use - didn't have to spend a lot of time trying to figure it out.

I stopped using it. I stopped using this calendar. Without warning, it changed the way it invites others to an event and became completely useless to me. My EA has written to the developers asking for guidance but after 3 weeks and 3 emails there has been no response. I'm going over to Sunrise now. FYI: the change I am referring to is that it now creates an email of the calendar invite and emails it to the person being invited. Except when they click on the 'accept' button in the email, nothing is created in their calendar. Very frustrating for it to suddenly change like this.

Alerts. App is pretty reliable but no matter you do, each new event attaches a 10 minute alert. Support does nothing about it.

Favorite Week View. The week view on this application is fantastic!

Paid and won’t work. Great app and idea. I loved using it but it was only for the current month so I wanted to get the pro version so I could use other months for planning. First I signed up with my iPad to have the 2 weeks free trial of the pro version. It wouldn’t work after I registered and signed up so I kept emailing and trying to get it to work. They would send me a question, I would answer it, then nothing back. This kept happening for the full 2 weeks of the free trial that I didn’t end up getting to use. So I gave them the benefit of the doubt and still wanted to buy it and say screw it im sure it will be fine. Now I bought it and it still won’t work and I’ve sent countless email for help and nothing. I’ve asked for a number I can call so I don’t have to write a million emails to get an answer and they won’t do that. Terrible customer service. Even if they didn’t understand why there was an issue, at least write back and explain that. It’s extremely frustrating. I never write poor reviews because I understand people are busy and things happen. But they are blatantly not doing their job and my money is with them.

Used to be great. This app used to be great, now, not so much. It all changed with an Apple update which is not the developers fault but even when notified multiple times they have yet to provide a fix. It will no longer save templates or sync properly. I essentially have 20 employees having issues now. Please revive it to its former usefulness.

None Better. I have used the App for years. I like its easy to use common sense features. I know of none better.

Best Calendar. I bought a lot of Calendars from iTunes but this is the best, sorry but I just wasted a lot of money on the others and regret it cause this is so far the best and the only open that I use.

Still waiting. I used to love this app until after an iOS update. On September 22 I email support because the search function isn’t working properly. You are not able to select the dates for your search criteria. I got a response saying that they’re looking into it. I emailed again on Dec 5. Still waiting.

Limited Use Without Subscription. I used to love this app! I paid for it up front years ago on my iPhone because I it had the mini-month view and was great to use. Now, every day I’m bombarded with pop-up ads to subscribe to special calendars, etc., and with the iPad app you can’t even switch to a different month. Time to find a new calendar app unfortunately..

Won’t Sync. Since the iOS 11 update, the Week Calendar on my iPhone and iPad no longer sync events. I have to manually enter an event onto both devises, which is a hemorrhoid to have to do. The app was 5 Star before, now I rate it at one or less. I’ve contacted the app developer and also sought help at the Genius Bar at an Apple Store; both were unhelpful/unsuccessful in solving the problem.

When editing items like alerts, or invitees the next screen shows both a side panel over lapping a full screen … making it difficult to enter the selection detail either for a new entry or for editing an existing entry. Can not trust week cal HD. Once in awhile all of my appointments moved forward to one day ahead by them self all year. I had to corrected move them back one by one. I can not do all of these because too many appointments per month. I can not trust this calendar. It happened 3 times per year.

Paid app with no support-What is that worth?. Answer: One star. The developer can’t even explain why anyone would want to pay for the $14 upgrade. The basic app is OK, I like it for the month view, which even fantastical doesn’t have on the ipad. Apps with no support i file in the “crappy little app” folder.

Horrible, terrible, obnoxious, intrusive marketing.. I received a marketing message at 9:26 PM on Christmas night. If they think I want any marketing messages ever, they’re out of their minds. So unless you like messages pushed to your iPad, even when your notifications are turned off, download this app. Otherwise, do what I’m doing, and delete everything that has anything to do with it.

Pro doesn’t work. I love the app. I use the app every day. I’d like to have the Pro features, which I paid for almost a year ago, but they don’t work. When I report this to the developer, their response is that it’s a known bug and that they are working on it. When I ask if I can have a credit while they work on it, I get no response.

BEST APP EVER!. Very well organized and feature packed calendar! I am a visual learner. The “out of view” indicators are a stroke of genius! They help me to never miss a task or appointment. Check it out and see what I mean!

Lots of duplicate events. For some reason my events in this app show up 3 and 4 times on the days they are scheduled. This is very frustrating as I have to go thru each month and delete ALL the duplicate events. I’m not able to recommend this app as this has to be some type of bug in the app

It was great until it wasn’t. I have enjoyed the calendar, but have questions about it and no one will return my emails, can’t find help and thought I found help but it was misdirection. Not happy. This calendar messed up my other calendar and I don’t know how to fix it and now week cal doesn’t let me delete stuff.

Invaluable. I have three calendars and syncing them was really a problem. WeekCal solved my problem. I can see all three calendars at once and they sync across platforms including Google and Outlook.

An improvement over Apple’s native calendar. . . . but they NEVER do an adequate job of testing before product “updates” are released. I have encountered program behaviors that are just ridiculous and have to contact Support for a solution - - - if there is one. I’m about ready to look for a replacement.

Needed to be updated. It is really excellent one among others, but it needs to be updated soon. 9.3 is for iPhone, but this one is 8.7 now. Also required to support iPad Pro. [update] once updated to 10.3, then again nothing more, compared to the one for iPhone. Very disaapointed as a user who thinks WeekCal is the best calendar app of all time since Newton and its cal app.

Does what it says. This is a great alternative to the standard Apple calendar. Have mine linked to my spouse with several calendars showing at once. Color coded entries allow me to see at a glance my, my spouse’s, and “our joint” appointments.

Great App. I use this app for most of my scheduling needs, works super and enjoy the alert process. I do wish the Calendar for my cell phone worked the same way. My app shows up but the format is entirely different.

errors in LIST VIEW. LIST VIEW changes date and week number when content is changed in a task.

Audio Alarms Don’t Work/Tech Sup Doesn’t Respond. The good-The graphics are great, and events are easy to enter. The bad-I have iOS and the audible alarms don’t work. I’ve contacted their tech support twice and they don’t respond.

Won't allow me to not have iCal imported. I can't just use this app fresh. It asks me to access my calendar and if I say no, it just greys out. I can't proceed or user or without my other calendar. The only reason I bought a new calendar is so it could be separate and unaffiliated with that pervasive iCal Google one. So now it has defeated the purpose.

Paid for app previously, no longer works. I purchased this app ages ago, and have been happily using it--until now. It stopped working and demands a "pro subscription". I just want what I paid to use: a basic calendar app. As a paying customer, I do not appreciate the bait and switch.

Been using Week Cal since iOS 3.0. Love the event template feature! Makes it so easy to add overtime shift, documenting medical events like occasional nosebleeds. iPad version needs dark mode.
